This Land Is Our Land: A Blue Beetle Story
Made by Jacoby Salcedo, Julio Anta, and Francesco Segala, releasing October 2024
Blue Beetle's YA graphic novel debut, will tackle contemporary issues well-known to the Latino community. Immigration and perceptions of border life and issues will be addressed, framing current events in a DC context. Contrary to the recent film, which takes place in Palmera City, Jaime will be operating in his hometown of El Paso, Texas, in a retelling of his origin story.

Batman: Wayne Family Adventures #6 Favoritism
Wayne Family Adventures gets it. Nightwing is both BatFam and Superfam. The perfect balance of the two.

I work at a comic shop. I’ve been a comic book nerd for more than a decade. I know my stuff, and it’s still really hard for me to keep up with everything! There are so many events. Marvel and DC comics can be up to $8.99 usd for a single new issue. An average short 12 issue run costs $60 usd before tax. AI art is flooding the industry. Most graphic novels are $20.
That being said. if you feel left out by not being able to read everything, stop and take a breath. You don’t have to read every single new release you don’t have to know every single little thing about a character you like. You are still valid. Don’t let anyone belittle you for how you enjoy your hobby.

I would like to do a thing where I give comic recs for every day of December but to avoid saying "read Infinity Inc." for every day, I would like to request comics that should get more love. Please submit them to me.
Manga, big two comics, indie comics, webtoons, other webcomics, graphic novels (for both adults and kids) as well as BDs, manhua and manhwa are all welcome!!
