Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie was released 30 years ago today!

I was a huuuuge Power Rangers fan growing up and remember being beyond excited for this film.

Tommy (as Green Ranger because for some reason I wasn't a huge fan of him in White) was one of my first childhood heroes.

Whilst I can't remember much about the film itself, other than Ivan Ooze, I do remember collecting the sticker album!

Apparently Ninjor wasn't in this film, I could have sworn he was!

Getting a Ninjor toy for Christmas that year is still one of my favourite presents of all time, thanks Nan.

15 years...

Today is my Tumblr anniversary, 15 years with the same account.

Time really does fly.

I’ve always been a huge Scott Pilgrim fan, at one time it was pretty much all I posted about on here.

This new video game completely snuck up on me and I couldn’t be more excited to re-enter that world and revisit those characters.

The game apparently will take place after the anime, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (which was awesome btw and I highly recommend).

It’s being developed by Tribute Games (known for the latest TMNT side scroller) and is confirmed to have a brand new soundtrack by Anamanaguchi, who scored the original game.

And of course Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley is involved too!

“Toronto, 20XX. The city has been taken over by three rival gangs—the VEGANS, the ROBOTS, and the DEMONS. But who’s behind this madness? When Scott Pilgrim’s bandmates are abducted by shadowy forces, a brand-new adventure begins!”

The game supports 4 player co-op and features 7 playable characters each with their own unique combat style and we’re due to see a release sometime in 2026.
