You can feel his eyes on you by the time you’re finishing up with the elementary schoolers, and before you turn to address Jotaro, you make sure to remind the young boy who’d just been staring wide-eyed at the echinoderms you handled gently in your hands while lecturing to walk, not run, out of the exhibit. He nods emphatically, and his first step, more of a skip, slows to a stiff walk immediately, which makes you giggle. 

Jotaro takes this as an opportunity to move closer finally, polite and careful around you as always. His hands are shoved in his pockets as you suspected, and he forces an expression of feigned indifference on his features as he approaches, but there’s no reason for him to be tailing you so closely as you handle the visiting school children on Marine Science day, and yet he does. It’s only because the most interesting thing in this entire aquarium has always ever been you.

If only he had the courage to say it out loud.

“Are you diving with me next week?” he asks as you dry your hands on the side of your cargo pants and give him your full attention. He’s dressed in the same uniform as you are, although still insisting on wearing his lab coat around the place - something about the long sleeves and long length part of his personal style - and you wonder, as your eyes pass over the width of the cling of the fabric of the cotton polo shirt to his chest how easily you could swim in that coat yourself. 

Rather than dwelling in the thought, you raise your eyebrows at him. 

“Am I not on the list?” you ask. Jotaro blinks, realizing his question, only meant to segue naturally into a conversation with you, only managed to confuse you.

“No, I mean, yes. You are.”

So why are you asking? should be your natural reply, but you allow him enough mercy but addressing the subject tangentially. “Is it your first one?” 

“No.”

“Mm. That’s good.”

As you continue to engage him in chatter, you’re looking around, making sure the kids did not leave any papers or knock anything over. There’s not too much to sweep, but Jotaro follows you, like some kind of pensive shadow, as you search in a hidden door along the walls of the decorated open plan room for the utility closet. He holds the door open for you wider as you search for a broom, watching you carefully, reaching for the accompanying dustpan before you can.

“Is it yours?” he asks. You give him a nod in the affirmative as you sweep, and you can tell that he already probably knew that. He pauses for a moment, and the environment remains still around you, aside from the run of the constantly running water in the tanks, sea creatures moving too close to the surface of the water, and the sound of the broom’s bristles brushing against the soft carpeted floors. 

These quiet moments with Jotaro are often like this, where you can tell what he’s saying in his heart is far more than anything he’s willing to say aloud. Sometimes you wonder if that ghost he swears follows him, the one that won’t let him come to any harm, the one that he insists is fond of you as well and won’t let you come to any harm, be it land or sea, knows the depth of his heart.

You’d like to know a little about it too, but for now you settle with letting him learn to speak his mind.

“I only asked because I didn’t want you to be worried,” he finally admits. “Because it’s your first time and because you looked a bit concerned back at our meeting.”

You stop sweeping for a moment, and look up towards him. He’s not the type to blush or frown, but even if he’s looking in your direction, the dustpan appearing small and silly in his hand, he makes sure his eyes don’t look directly in yours, but at a fixed point behind you.

“Will your ghost protect me?” you tease.

His eyes focus back on you, a crack of a smile on his face.

“You don’t think I could?”

Your face warms, and you regret not having as good of a poker face as he does. Perhaps because you don’t have a ghost to confide all your feelings to, them instead being written all over your face.

“I trust you,” you offer.

This widens his smile, as he steps closer to you, bending down to receive the pile of dust you’ve collected before you. 

Always ready to make your life easier in any way he can.

“Good.”

9. a missing scene that definitely happened

Some time before Stone Ocean, Jotaro and Polanreff reunited. It was emotional and heart wrenching and no small amount of crying from the both of them. Jotaro because he felt like a failure because Polanreff had gotten hurt like this, and essentially died, and he wasn’t there to help protect him, and Polanreff because it had been over 2 years since he’d last seen or talked to his best friend.

Jotaro stuck around for almost a month in Italy and almost never put Polanreff down. The lil tortoise was always tucked close to his body and Jotaro refused to take his eyes off him for even a moment. Heck, for the first couple nights he wasn’t able to sleep very well because of the possibility of being separated from Pol again so he slept inside Mr.President for the comfort

15. a secret

Jotaro is always afraid.

Afraid his Magnetism is going to lead enemy Stand Users to his family. Afraid he’s going to loose the people he loves in his life. Afraid he’ll become like Dio. Afraid he’ll become too powerful to be stopped. Afraid he won’t powerful enough to protect people. Afraid he’ll say the wrong thing. Afraid he won’t be fast enough when it matters.

There’s only one thing he isn’t afraid of.

And that’s death

I HONESTLY DONT HAVE MUCH TO ADD BECAUSE YOU WENT SO IN DEPTH AND WELL DONE WITH IT SO ALL I CAN REALKY SAY IS AWESOME JOB!!!

So I have this fanfic idea but I’m not sure if I’m ever gonna write been busy with other projects and fanfics it so I’m gonna just make it an AU for now. Where all the Jostars are vampires. Calling it the Bloody Star AU.

Basically in a timeline where Dio never tested the mask and didn’t know he could make vampires with it, used it on Jonathan to try and kill him… but turned him into a vampire (this happened in dio’s confrantaon for when he was caught poison gorge.) Jonathan with his anger and new monsteious hunger attacks dio (he lived but got badly injured). By the time Jonathan snapped out of it the damage had already been done and the cops saw him as a monster. They shot at Jonathan but bullets don’t really work, Gorge tries to step in but ends up getting shot. He apologized to Jonathan before dying. While Jonathan and Speedwagon were destractive the cops set the manor on fire in an attempt to kill Jonathan. But he managed to survive and save Speedwagon, the two of them go into hiding. (Jonathan eats suicidal people and freaks who want to be eaten, he is not happy about it and is remorseful about it saying sorry everytime). Erina finds him and gives him comfort and help, telling him about how he was still the same kind soul she always known despite the fangs, and that he was not at fault, it was just a lot of unfortunate circumstances, a fate he couldn’t fight even if he wanted too… the best thing to is enjoy the now, and hope that things get better.

Meanwhile Dio meets Zeppeli and learns hamon from him (he is super good at it) and the two of them go to try and find the vampire that was once Dio’s beloved brother.(dio is lying about what actually happened, the cops were there just mentioned how scary Jonathan was (despite not attacking and was more scared of them)) . Word spread about a monster that feeds on the willing, who is often accompanied by a gangster and woman who practiced medicine wich was kinda terrifying back then. Tracking him down the hammon users finally cornered Jonathan in a valley after he saved Poco. Zeppeli did kinda find it off putting how uncharacteristically kind, polite and sweet the vampire is but he shouldn’t let him stop from saving the world from this horror! Then he gets backstabbed by Dio. While Speedwagon and Erina is tending to Zeppeli wounds. Jonathan and Dio fight, during the fight Jonathan acedently revives the knights, witch is a double edged sword, he has no idea how to control zombies or how they work but managed to scare dio off. He managed to befriend Bruford for a while before his soul is laid to rest but Tarkus has more of a bone to pick and ends up going wild, heading to town, Jonathan has to stop him. Ultimately he gains zeppeii as a friend who finished Tarkus, but just to be save he puts Jonathan in hamon infused restrains and locks him in this special cage.

Dio ends up requiring new people on his side to try and end the rieng of the vampire named Jonathan basically create an Anti-Speedwagon foundation/cult of sorts that I don’t have a name for yet and ends up basically becoming another ruler of London. Playing to their fear and sympathy. Getting more and more help. The people are becoming more paranoid and turning on each other in fear of vampires. Doesn’t help that a lot of other hamon users end up joining with Dio. In some ways Dio was a bigger threat as a hamon user then his vampire counterpart. This does not help the fact he is now getting more and more power hungry and just as roughless. This messed up culture takes more after him and prays on the weak for multiple things with ‘protection’ being the biggest reason they should comply. You know that things get messed up when the safest place in London now is Ogre Street.

Zeppeli does his best to reson with people and his colleagues but they are not listening, even though he has the vampire contained and everyone can see him, along with all of the damaged Jonathan has from hamon and is now patiently waiting for them to finish him off (both Erina and Speedwagon are objecting and trying to convince him not to give up) despite all his attempts and reasoning he is badly injured by the hamon mob, he besides to save the creature who didn’t let fear or his rage take over his soul and saved his life. He frees Jonathan from his cage. The entirey of the mob runs away when Zeppeli, Dio made them a bit too fearful of vampires to the point no one thinks they can stop Jonathan who is literally crumbling away due to hamon. Zeppeli tells Jonathan that he was sorry, that he couldn’t believe that the very thing he learned to try and stop the horrors of the stone mask, hamon, the power of life, turned into something so horrible. They need to stop this raging fire before it consumes the world, they need to stop Dio.

The four of them start traveling to the Keep Dio has taken refuge in. Jonathan now knowing he has to fight him begins training, eating those who Actually deserve it like Jack the Ripper and testing the limits of his abilities, often sparing with Zeppeli as well as healing others with his blood. But not raising any more zombies or messing with life in any kinda way. Fun times when Jonathan learns he can shoot eye beams and make his body super cold. While dealing with goons that are a minor annoyance at best, there too scared to actually try and directly attack the Vampire. They get horses, (Jonathan’s horse is named slow dancer) and then they actually get into an fight with a high rank fallower and a few goons on horseback, it’s a race against the sunrise of sorts but Jonathan wins.

They finally raid the keep Jonathan goes to fight Dio while Zeppeli, speedwagon and Erina fight the three hamon users that helped Jonathan in the original part (I can look their names but I don’t want to bother). Thankfully Zeppeli was able to have them see how messed up everything is by showing them the people who were ‘saved’ by their cause. Meanwhile Dio and Jonathan are both at their wits ends, Jonathan throwing everything he knows at Dio, how to counter hamon, and Dio who studded vampires and had extensive hamon training since their last encounter. But ultimately Jonathan wins by using his environment to his advantage and tricks Dio into falling to his death.

After the fact a huge discussion was held on what to do after the fact, everyone is still in fear of the vampire, no one wants to kill Jonathan, he doesn’t deserve it. After a while they come up with a solution. “Dio gave his life to the country, he died trying to fight the vampire, and thankfully he managed to kill it” they spread a zombie’s hamon ashes around to sell the illusion. They destroy the stone mask as well. Meanwhile Erina smuggles Jonathan out of the country to the colonies using a special trunk(aka Dio’s coffin in the original just a bit different so that Erina can pass it as luggage, the secret compartment was always there) until the whole mess is over. The hamon users give Jonathan a special collar that they made him weaker and curbed any vampiric hunger that he couldn’t remove. I mean they’re not gonna just let a vampire roam free, that just seems like a bad idea. On a more happier note Jonathan and Erina become an official thing a few days after the fact. Even though they couldn’t get married, they vowed to be together as long as possible. However a day after they took off Zeppeli finds out that Dio’s corpse has been stolen from his resting place before his memorial.

The pair at see enjoy the nights on the ocean, Erina often falling asleep in Jonathan’s arms, just enjoying their time together. Jonathan has to stay cramped in her room and not speak a peep out of fear of being found out especially after someone ransacked her room, but they made the most out of it. But the day they see the new land on the horizon, several zealots of Dio attacked, they were hiding among the passengers. They were after Erina, because they believed that he had some secret vampire relic to revive the dead, when they couldn’t find anything from their earlier raid, they went into the deep end and were convinced the entire ship were secret vampire worshipers, and started Killing the passengers and ringing the boat to explode. They also were the ones-who stole Dio’s corpse, putting it in a special blast proof glass/crystal coffin that keeps his body from decomposing so that their lord can watch over them fulfill their purpose. Jonathan has to step up however due to the collar he is taking a lot of damage and can’t fight back well but managing to save a few of the passengers, including an infant who he gives to Erina to keep safe. He makes make shift boats. Jonathan, Erina and the baby are the last’s ones to leave, they use the special trunk as a makeshift boat. But before they can leave Jonathan gets snagged by a harpoon like hamon weapon, and gets dragged back. Erina tries to save him but can’t free him, when she can’t she tries to die with him.

“If you die, who will I live for?”

“Live for the baby who lost her parents, live for our child…” Jonathan says while putting his hand over her stomach. “I can already sense the little one’s life… please… Erina…. I’m sorry about putting you though all this…..”

They kiss for one last time before Jonathan is dragged into the depths of the ship. Erina escapes on the trunk turned boat with the baby and joins the other survivors shortly after the boat explodes. After that the fable of “The Vampire and The Sun Cult,” spread all over the colonies and gave the people a good discussion on what makes a monster. Sorrow is felt among Jonathan’s comrades, even little Elisabeth could feel the cold feeling of dread, but at least the nightmare was over finally.

Until George II born with fangs…. Everyone knew that the blood of the vampire was now ingrained with the Joestar bloodline.

Will do part 2 and 3 later this took so long to write.

Honestly, been a hot minute since I've written for JJBA or watched Part 4 so if anything is off I'm so sorry. Here you go though :) I need to write more for this show... I missed it. (For those who don't know, I started yandere writing through JJBA on Wattpad. Although I don't like most of my old work for it now.)

I may add it to my next fandoms since this sparked my interest again 😅 Maybe even bring back some old JJBA fics if I feel I liked them enough, although most of them are female reader so... we'll see. Anyways! I hope you enjoy the new content I bring to the table!

Yandere! Okuyasu Nijimura Concept

Pairing: Romantic

Okuyasu is a very driven character.

He acts through his heart and is often very impulsive.

He even complains about the fact he has no girlfriend in the show.

I feel Okuyasu can both be a very intimidating yandere while also being extremely sweet.

Especially if you are part of the Duwang Gang.

I feel Okuyasu would be very sweet, considerate. and caring for his darling.

However I also feel he'd get easily carried away.

His emotions drive him too much at times which can lead to some problematic situations.

Okuyasu gets to know you when you join the friend group either through Josuke or Koichi.

Okuyasu may even be the type of guy to fall in love fast when he finds the one for him.

As stated before, Okuyasu allows his heart to guide his actions.

The heart wants what the heart wants!

While this behavior can make him sweet at times, it has side effects.

Such as making his jealousy and aggression more intense due to his impulsive behavior.

He doesn't always think his actions through and with a stand as strong as The Hand, that's a dangerous combo.

I don't imagine Okuyasu is good with flirting but his actions certainly show he has attraction towards you in the friend group.

He's very honest in his actions and openly compliments you but he's also respectful.

I no doubt feel Okuyasu pursues you slightly out of jealousy due to Koichi's relationship (Which has its own problems).

Okuyasu seems like a yandere you'd be able to control for the most part with Josuke but there's times he gets out of hand.

He takes dating advice from others on ways to impress you.

Then he tries to apply that to pursuing you.

Okuyasu feels like he'd be a clumsy stalker but still would.

Okuyasu also seems like he'd be a bad liar and feel horrible doing it, which means Josuke or Koichi would pick up on his tendencies quickly.

It's hard not to when they keep catching Okuyasu making puppy eyes over you.

It's like there's not a time he stops looking at you.

He's always just daydreaming about you and often lets his crush over you control him.

I'm sure Okuyasu means well but he would come off so strong in his obsession.

He can't help complimenting you and often gets jealous when you give away your attention to someone else.

Ah here it is, the problematic part.

Due to his impulsive behavior, Okuyasu would definitely get aggressive towards anyone he feels are taking you from him.

He's been shown to threaten those he doesn't like in the show and has tried to use The Hand for lethal force too.

It would take you to calm him down since I feel Okuyasu cares for you enough to calm down.

He doesn't want to look bad in front of you, after all.

His emotional behavior extends into other aspects of his obsession too.

If you gave this man anything of sentimental value, like a gift or a hug, it excites him and probably nearly sends him to tears.

Okuyasu holds so much love towards you and has no idea how to vent it.

He feels he can finally have a partner if he just plays his cards right with you!

Okuyasu is so optimistic and hopeful, too.

He thinks one day you'll get together, even if you don't show any signs now.

I feel if he ever asked you out and you rejected him he'd act fine, shuffle away, then start sobbing.

However, afterwards with some encouragement, he just thinks he needs to wait a bit longer before asking again!

Honestly, Okuyasu may accidentally guilt you into dating him as he's persistent.

He just knows you have to be together!

When you eventually do start dating, Okuyasu does whatever he can to please you.

He is completely head over heels for you when you finally give him a chance.

For the most part he is very sweet.

He asks others for advice on what gifts he should surprise you with.

He's often physically affectionate.

Okuyasu's biggest problem is his emotions towards those he doesn't like.

If he felt someone was flirting with you, even if you were just talking, he'd probably beat them up if not stopped.

Okuyasu can be clingy by following you everywhere.

He hangs out with you with the rest of the friend group, he even plans little dates with you alone.

As said before, Okuyasu means well, he just easily gets carried away.

If not kept under control then he may become a disastrous yandere.

For example, wiping away someone undesirable with The Hand.

I want to say Okuyasu wouldn't kidnap, he seems like he'd know better in a way.

Although if he was really pushed he may do it by accident, like in an attempt to get you to not leave him.

For the most part I feel Okuyasu would just be clingy and follow you around.

He really just acts like a puppy at times around you.

It's cute until people start going missing... and he just never wants to let you go.

Okuyasu may also have abandonment issues due to what happened in his past.

Which would make breaking up nearly unbearable or downright impossible.

Okuyasu would go into denial to the point of accidentally forcing you to stay.

He'd do anything for you!

Don't just let him go!

I feel like I want to say more about him yet I'm also out of ideas.

Overall Okuyasu certainly means well in his obsession but that same driven behavior causes dangerous problems.

From stalking, threats, potential murder, and maybe even kidnapping... Okuyasu just wants to please!

If isolating you will keep you guys together... Maybe he has to do it?

All he knows is he depends on you... he can't have you leave him!

He'd do anything for you to please you... just as long as he can have you as his.

🩷Sukuna (JJK): ok listen....hear me out...balance🧍🏾‍♀️. he brings balance. everyone else is muddled and normal, soft, or innocent but Kuna resides in the extremes, is the perfect polar-opposite of Choso, and rounds out the group with good ole fashion discipline 💪🏾 (read Exercising with Sukuna if you don't believe me). he's not my favorite to deal with because the man puts the ass in asshole bUT it's good for my soul to toughen up every now and then. if you want something done and you want it done right, ask Sukuna. he'll grumble and berate you the entire time but sh*t will get done and better than you ever thought it could be. .......he also has 4 arms, 2 dicks, and a stomach mouth—good fkin bye.

🩷Saitama (OP): he makes me laugh, there's not much more to say 🤣. the most normal out of the group and the most nonchalant. Saitama is literally my best friend who never takes anything seriously just like me. our favorite hobby we do together is literally grocery shopping and i will wake my ass up every saturday morning to be by his side as he spends way too much time comparing fruits and vegetables just to get the same things he does every time. he's also the strongest and would deck everyone on this list if it came to it (argue with the manga, not me 🐸☕️)

the real reason will forever remain a mystery, but i think it has something to do with connectedness.

the first major story i wrote was handwritten in the largest binder i could find in the 4th grade and was about fairies with elemental superpowers.

my first fandom was typed out on my mom's typewriter at her job and about 40/50 pages and was about the boyband B5 (shout tf out to you if yk who they are 🗣️).

both of these instances explored hobbies/interests that i was deeply into. i wanted to share my own take on these things that occupied so much of my time with others who also couldn't escape the clutches of favorites and fandom.

i also wanted to "escape" from a life i thought was dull and bland in favor of living in a world that was bright and full of color and literally in the palm of my hands.

now i do it just because i like to torture myself 🤍

i would create an entirely new world if i could, but i'll settle for pouring my heart out on tumblr

💗first and foremost, all of my characters are 18+. i don't really care for writing aged-up minor characters but when i do, it will be mostly fluff but they will be adults at the end of the day, especially when you consider real-world timelines.

Jotaro Kujo Has A Vulture Culture Crush

JJBA Headcanon

Hello everybody! This is a very specific headcanon, I’ve been daydreaming sooo much about this latelly... it’s for the Vulture Culture comunity. What is this? Is an online subculture and form of hobbyist taxidermy based on the collection and preservation of animal remains. It takes its name from the practice of working with animals that have died of natural causes, as opposed to hunting or trapping.

The first interaction you had was probably in an environment like college, academic work, something where you both had a common knowledge and curiosity. You two frequented the library, cafeteria, college commons, but he had never seen you, otherwise you had already noticed him. First thing you thought "wow what a tall guy". Jotaro was always reading something or discussing deep ideas regarding studies, he really was an expert when he spoke.

In fact, there wasn't an interaction when you first saw each other. The first to notice something was Jotaro, something had caught his attention. You talked about a small collection in your house, a hobby that you loved very much and what was in your collection had piqued his curiosity. Jotaro leaned against the wall as if he were thinking about something else, but he was listening to you.

You didn't talk so much about, brief information. Kujo kept that to himself. After a few days, almost a week, he had discreetly asked a classmate for your name. As time went on, he would look for you very discreetly, try to find a chance to talk to you, but oh, Jotaro didn't have such good social skills when that attitude came from him, not that he felt insecure, but always overthinking what would be the most appropriate time.

One day when you least expected it, mutual friends of yours joined you in conversation, a group of people just walking away from class together. it was around eleven at night when you were leaving college to go home.

You took the last bus of the night and Jotaro was with you the whole time, he didn't seem to have anything to do with you, it wasn't common to see him at that time at the bus stop, maybe it was an unusual day in Jotaro's routine. You decide to break the ice and turn around to talk to him, when you do that, he was already looking at you.

You blush.

“Hey, I saw you in the group before” He says. “I’m Jotaro Kujo.” Extends a hand to shake you.

You introduce yourself. Shakes his hand.

He smiles very imperceptible. Gentle lips.

For someone who always had a closed expression, brought up several subjects, that time your waiting for the bus wasn't so dark and lonely. After that day, you had more interaction. Kujo had a crush on you, although he wanted to know more and more about you, he wasn't someone in a hurry, quite the opposite, he wanted things to take as long as they needed to.

He always tried to spend a little time with you when he could fit it into the week, Jotaro is someone very studious and focused on his research, but nothing that would get in his way when it came to you. The crush ceased to be just a crush, as the days went by, he really started to like you.

Reasons? Well, you are smart, master the subjects you like. You know a lot and surprise not only those around you, but Jotaro, he liked to feel proud of liking you. Knows how to be kind, he likes your simple nature in acting with affection for things, for animals, people, environment. He was someone more reserved, having those social skills cost him a little more energy, but for you, it was so yours.

He admires you.

To you, he wasn't very expressive, but you could tell he always had something for you. He liked to talk with you, at the end of some conversations he would hand you some book, research, something that would really interest you, Jotaro encouraged you to study a lot, even if he didn't have the look, he was a biology nerd.

(You noticed that your grades went up a bit after you started dating him...)

Kujo knew about your taste for animal skeletons, he was indifferent, he had the basic knowledge of species identification, but he wanted to please you, he wanted to show you that he was also part of your world. One day, he walks up to you, looks thoughtful and coughs dryly before saying something...

"I've been thinking, I'd like you to come with me for a walk on the beach." didn't mean to sound too weird. "Classes are usually full and I'm busy to have that time for our conversations." It wasn’t true. "Of course, if that’s what you want to go, I know you have your own things too." The deep tone of his voice sounded very respectful.

Obviously you said yes.

It was late afternoon, it was around five o'clock, oh how nervous you were, you put on your best clothes and fixed your hair, you were where you were scheduled to meet, you looked from one side to the other, and turning your corner, the man in a white coat appears. Wow what anxiety, but it was a good wrap to feel, you didn't know what to expect from an encounter with someone as silent and full minded as Jotaro. He smiled at you when you got close. "Shaw we go?" and thereupon he led the way to the shore. Empty and with a colder wind than the weather forecast said. Jotaro's shoes sank together with his in the soft sand, leaving the trail of his steps. The subject was flowing when you see a carcass in the distance, you widen your eyes, what could it be? The two of you get closer and you're excited but regretting to yourself that you didn't prepare for a situation, but who knew this would be bone hunting in the middle of a date? You convince yourself to just admire the animal's skull on the beach and leave it behind.

That's when Jotaro took gloves and a bag from inside his coat. "It seems to be some kind of seal that died a long time ago" he handed you the gloves. "Here, I don't think it pose any biological risk to us, but you look very good in those clothes, I don't want you to get dirty" and collects the seal's skull. You say "I believe it's a sea lion, a little young" and as you walked, corals, turtle shells, unrecognizable pieces of bone, even shark jaws, you collected and recorded what species you found, Kujo seemed happy in the search. He didn't show a great desire to acquire them like you did, but at the same time, showed the delight of being able to see these things up close, with you...

Sometimes you saw Jotaro magically take beautiful shells and animal teeth out of his hands, and sometimes extremely wet bones, where did he take them from? You hadn't seen him approach the water. Sometimes you watched discreetly as he did that and he seemed to catch things that didn't make sense, like a crab that appeared in his palm and pinched it, you heard a "shit!" out between his lips.

(You don't know about Stands, so Jotaro just accompanied you and Star Platinum walked around collecting the objects and delivering them to the Stand user's hand discreetly, but he didn't always take what was expected.)

That's when you looked between the weak waters of the tide and a perfect starfish. Jotaro's shadow covers you seeing what you had found, he opens his eyes in surprise and you hand it to him. "That's yours" you hand the starfish, he looks "Yare, yare..." he adjusts his hat and picks up the starfish.

He really liked the skeleton

At the end of the meeting, the bag made a rattling sound from the many bones you collected, wow, every creature of marine life was inside the bag and it was while you were talking that Jotaro revealed that this was a beach open only for research and material collection , there were no bathers or litter, just what nature left behind.

on Kujo's desk... a bone-pale starfish gleamed against the moonlight that night.

while I do want to keep Johnny’s disability (maybe changing the circumstances to something else? Maybe he got shot or attacked because of a jealous rival? Or maybe it was just a wrong place wrong time situation) this could be really fun to play with

maybe because of Johnny’s lack of connection with other people, he’s more stubborn about riding again. After all, it….. really isn’t possible to be abandoned if you never really had anyone to begin with. His relationship with his father was already awful, so this final push with the man leaving his life while painful was honestly expected. He wasn’t Nicholas, and it was only a matter of time until his father realized it

besides, racing wasn’t just for him. He knew how much the horses loved it so who was he to take that away from them. He’s still upset he lost he use of his legs and misses running through the fields alongside them, but there’s still hope for the future. He can still ride, and he still has his friends who he can talk to, so that’s good enough for him

but yeah, mans is an absolute mess when it comes to interacting with Actual People. He almost constantly fumbles his words and what he means because people interpret things WAY differently than horses and they're much more unforgiving, and it's generally just a bunch of extra work Johnny doesn't see as necessary so he does his best to avoid it

but then he meets Gyro and for the first time in years his feet move on their own

now, I think initially Johnny wouldn't have been there to sign up for a race. However differently from canon, it was because he wasn't sure if he was willing to risk being caught in the middle of nowhere with no protection in the middle of a transformation. Sure the fame and money would be nice, but they'd be useless if he was dead. But this possibility of getting his legs back? That was some personal incentive

like you said, there would definitely be a couple differences. For one, Johnny wouldn't have any issues with Slow Dancer or mounting a horse, he figured that out ages ago and it was really just a manner of asking polity. This definitely gets Gyro's attention because he gets the feeling there's something..... different about the way Johnny handles horses. He definitely thinks there's some similarity in the way Johnny and a horse would act, but he doesn't think WereHorseRat which..... understandable

this also adds a fun spin (heh) on Gyro slowly befriending Johnny. Gyro is the first human Johnny has been able to trust, and I mean genuinely completely trust, since Nicholas died when Johnny was I believe nine. It's frightening and dangerous but...... it's nice. Plus, Valkyrie has only good things to say about Gyro so that definitely helps his case

AU idea: Johnny can understand horses as if they spoke English. He has always had this ability. Slow Dancer's dialogue is 40% swear words.

Johnny is the only Joestar to have this ability but he's always had it so it never weirded him out. Besides, horses were easier to talk to then people and they had the best gossip

Johnny becomes famous in the racing world for how good he is with horses. They say he understands them on a level no other human could ever achieve, that horses treat him like one of their own. He always knows exactly what ails them and how to make them better, and it baffles everyone

Horses are really the only "people" Johnny trusts after Nicholas's death. They're the only ones he fully believes have his best interests at heart and won't betray him if given the opportunity. Horses are simpler than people, easy to understand and even easier to predict. He spent more time around horses than with other kids his own age, and he was fine with that

And before Gyro, other horses were also the only ones he trusted to be around him during his forced nights after the accident. He always felt incredibly vulnerable on those nights which he could never remember. The anxiousness, the disgust, the fear, that oppressive knowledge that if there were to be any danger he wouldn't be able to run away, it was suffocating.

But being in the stables with the others always made it a bit easier to bear, and when he meets Gyro he finally learns to trust people again
