got any headcanons on what Earth-2 Bart and Nora are like? :)

Ooh well tbh, I hc that E2 Westallen actually have the twins, Dawn and Don! Same actors ofc (I love Jessica Parker Kennedy and Jordan Fisher as Westallen’s kids so very much), but different names, and twins rather than siblings with an age difference. Doppelgängers of E-Prime Bart & Nora, in fact

They’re a bit of a handful, and Iris is the first to jokingly compare them to “little tornados”. The name sticks, becoming one of their endearments for the twins (who then call themselves the “Tornado Twins” later). Their surname is also, ofc, “West-Allen”

Dawn is ofc the more rational, thoughtful one, while Don is the more impulsive one. More than once, Dawn rolls her eyes at her “whirlwind brother” (and very pointedly ignores her own reckless actions at times…but worry not, Don’s her twin brother and thus makes it a point to tease her right back)

Dawn opts to go into journalism, surprising everyone (since ofc Iris is a police officer on this Earth, not a journalist). Don takes after his dad but pursues research instead of becoming a CSI

They cross the multiversal barrier…sort of by accident 😂 I don’t remember if the Cosmic Treadmill is capable of that, but if not, something else happens to catapult them onto Earth-Prime. They meet their other-Earth parents…and doppelgängers, who are strangely not twins and also named Nora and Bart (they tease the latter for his name, and Bart ofc takes it in stride). This leads eventually to E2 Westallen coming to Earth-Prime too, and it’s a joyous reunion 🥰 they didn’t know that the people on E2 were reborn with memories intact, so it’s a welcome surprise

Bart&Nora and the Tornado Twins, naturally, are fast friends after that day. It doesn’t take them long to figure out a way to keep in touch and visit (with a little help from their Uncle Cisco) 🥰

💁🏿‍♂️The Flash has SO much more mythos to explore beside Flashpoint. Plenty of speedsters & allies, plenty of Rogues & other antagonists.

Whether y'all know / respect them or not, they are there.

Their family

-could easily sustain multiple simultaneous, continuing comic titles (even if its just a main Flash title & a slice-of-life, like a speedster version of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures)

-should have multiple seasons of an animated TV show

-should have a movie trilogy by now 🤷🏿‍♂️

Like...give them more! Around the world, across time, throughout the multiverse! It'd surely mean coming up w/ new Rogues & other threats beside the ones we're familiar with, but that works for me; they (and we, their fans) deserve more! 🤩

Speedster Temporary Hearing Loss AU/HC.

I sent this to someone in their asks and reblogs but this is one of my favorite head canons that I feel deserves its own post.

I have a headcanon that speedsters get temporary hearing loss and/or tinnitus when they break the sound barrier. The West family even uses ASL and certains signals to show the others that they can’t hear. (I know the West and Allen families aren’t the only speedsters but this headcanon started with Flashfam so bear with me)

An example would be: Wally decided to take an extra lap around the world on his way to Barry and Iris’s from school. He accidentally broke the sound barrier and now everything is muffled. He enters the West-Allen home and signs to the couple “cannot hear, ran too fast” and they both instantly start signing. Wally talks about his day while they all wait for his speedster healing to heal his eardrums. Wally starts to hear loud ringing before he can hear again.

Bonus: A random JL member enters a meeting with their hands covering their ears after a fight involving a sonic device. The Flash associates a person covering their ears with ASL so he starts signing in a Pavlovian response. Cue confused side eyeing all across the room

This headcanon comes from two places

1. an episode in CW’s The Flash where Barry and Ralph get hit with a sonic device(or meta, I can’t remember) that causes Barry to damage his eardrums and his speedster healing takes several hours to fully bring repair the damage

2. A medical condition I have. It causes me to go through “episodes” where I get really loud ringing in my ear or complete silence or both. This can happen to either ear at any time (sometimes both ears). These episodes last anywhere from 30 min to 3 days. Recently they’ve been around 2-4hrs tho. In that time I rely on lipreading and sign language.

In typical rainy-day707 fashion, I felt the need to project my life onto my favorite characters. Hence speedsters getting temporary hearing loss. If I have any other things I forgot to add I’ll edit them in later. Feel free to add on!

So many people my dude 😂😂😂 I’ll go by groups (and when I say someone is queer, that just means they don’t care enough to search for a label, they just know they ain’t straight).

Bats

In the Batfam, like most all of them are at the bare minimum queer. Yes even Bruce, on this page we support queer Bruce and his clear enjoyment of femdoms. (Look at the mothers of his children—Talia and Selina—and tell me I’m wrong.)

Dick is the most chaotic bisexual, Jason’s most definitely queer, Tim is CANNONICALLY BISEXUAL and married Kon in my cannon, Cass leans more lesbians in my mind (yes she dated Kon but a fair amount of lesbians have dated men), Steph married the first girl she slept with and had two sons, Duke just wants peace 😂

They read one too many articles calling them “Gal Pals” that had a clear pic of Maya checking out Kathy’s ass. One joke too many and Sin brought in a dildo with the word “Friendship” printed on it.

There’s definitely a joke that to be on Omega you have to be Bisexual (Jon, Milagro, Colin, and Lian), a total simp for your partner (Jai, Damian, Mar’i, Irey), or have some unexpected kinks (pick any character 😂)
