i too am often Thinking about my trevelyans anon! deeply troubled family verging on hawke levels of doomed by the narrative 🫶

the eldest son & most doomed trevelyan, leon is made tranquil at the start of the war. he’s a firm loyalist, so he reveals libertarians’ plans to the knight-commander at ostwick. no good deed, etc. in sander’s worldstate his tranquility is eventually cured, and while that’s not a positive experience, it does help him finally come to terms with being a mage (after 20 years…) in thea’s worldstate he chooses not to accept the cure and in damian’s he never gets the chance. ocularum sibling…

basil is the second son who got saddled with the responsibility of taking leon’s place (instead of becoming a templar like he was meant to!). in every worldstate he’s in ostwick running the bannorn while their father takes care of their mother who’s been sick with anxiety since the start of the war. this is also why he asks sander to go south to bring their siblings home.

damian is the next youngest along with his twin sister thea. he’s the only kid the trevelyans promised to the templars who actually joined the order. he’s not a fanatic, but he does earnestly believe in what the templars stand for. he’s horrified by “the excesses” of the order during the war though, which leads him to desert and look for his mage siblings. in sander’s worldstate the inquisition finds them all. in thea’s worldstate damian managed to find her before the conclave, and… well. she’s a maleficar at this point. she can’t fathom that her brother would be there to HELP her, so she panics and she kills him.

in damian’s worldstate, he very nearly has to kill thea too because she shows up at haven with the venatori. he does have to subdue her, and after they make it to skyhold she’s imprisoned. she stays imprisoned for months because he knows she has to be executed and can’t bring himself to do it. he turns a blind eye when sander eventually breaks her out. (then turns a blind eye again when he finds her with calpernia’s venatori…)

sander i’ve already talked about a little but he’s SUCH a fun character to me because being the inquisitor actually makes him worse while saving his family. the only worldstates where he is happy (and not actively becoming a worse person) are when he is scandalising marcher society by tagging along with a band of vashoth mercenaries (including his apostate gf semra adaar). unfortunately for this to happen his family has to fall apart :)

Favorite OC: Andrine Vanfell (Pathfinder: Kingmaker)

What can I say?

Don't matter how much time passes, she is my baby, my cinnamon roll, my fav bimbo.

I have had funny moments playing her, and when I'm feeling down, I like to imagine what she would do in my place (answer: dancing and shaking the shit off)

Newest OC: Laura de Loiola (Resident Evil 4 Remake)

Since I'm hyperfixated in RE4 Remake, I was driven to create an OC to bang Luis' brains out to interact with the game's blorbos. Laura was inspired in another OC who didn't see the daylight unfortunately (she would be a WtA TTRPG character).

I'm still sharping her background and personality while writing The Windmill, but overall I noticed that she and Luis shares the same brain cell, and that's beautiful (although she has social anxiety, but they are a pair of weirdos).

Oldest OC: Renée Lunenoire (Original Series)

My best girl, I would never imagine that a character from my first sapphic oneshot would become one of my comfort characters ever.

Renée is a werewolf, and also (not less important) a tailor. She is short (162cm), and at first sight people could think 'oh what a cutie', but when she changes her shape to a fuckin 3-meters-height black wolf, everybody passes out /jk

She is a blorbo, a bisexual mess. Thinking about if I gave ADHD to her or not.

Meanest OC: Olívia Garmendia (Original Series)

Another woman that God forbids to do anything.

From the same universe of Renée, Olívia is a blood sorceress, and became a noble after an unfortunated 'accident' with her former sire. She has no patient with the court men, mainly because she knows everybody's sins there (while the Queen looks at the other side).

She doesn't measure her actions to keep children and young women safe. The Marquise of Iparredia isn't there to make friends. Few people know her gentleness and vulnerability (Hugo is one of them).

Softest OC: Ekaterina Grushankaya (Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous)

Oh yes, her.

Katya is one of my tallest babies, and I guess it's the one with the softest demeanor of all.

A druid from Irrisen, she has seen up close how a kingdom works under Baba Yaga's chicken legs. Firsthand ruthless, baby. And we are not counting her tribe's distrustful arround her origins; after all, why would someone leave a baby aasimar with them?

Her voice is soothing and she avoids violence, but when she really got angry or is conviced that peace is not an option, pick a god and start praying. Her animal totem isn't a boar for nothing.

Most Aloof/Standoffish OC: Cassandra Constantinescu (Vampire Hunter D)

Like we use to say in Brazil, I must confess that she is my 'left behind at the barbacue' character, but I enjoyed so much to write her background. Cassandra has PTSD since the day her former home was invaded by vampires and their thralls. Hence, she carries dark emotions, and most of the time she feels like she doesn't belong anywhere. It's hard for her to trust in strangers, and even her few close friends almost have no clues about what's going on her head.

Dumbest (Affectionate) OC: Damian Vieri (Original Series)

Oh, my boy, my pal, my little soldier.

He changed SO MUCH.

He is from the same universe of Renée and Olívia, and is an anarchist Hunter of Myths (a kind of monster hunter). He left his home after aa fight with his father, because the old man didn't accept he has a son, not a daughter. Then my short king started a new life, and for some reasons he will meet Renée and they will adopted dozens of cats.

Smartest OC: Melina Trevelyan (Dragon Age Universe)

Do you know when you create a character whose intelligence is over yours but you can't stand in their mind enough because you are a dork? Yes, that's my relationship with Melina lol

I must confess that it's still a bit bitter talking about her after all the shit that happened at the TTRPG where she was one of the characters, but anyway. I can't forsake her, maybe one day I could reboot her story (and keep Lucius on her life, because he is her silver lining)

OC you'd be best friends irl: Hugo Otobeltza (Original Series)

My goodest boy. Don't matter if he killed someone and/or broke somebody's bones, he did what he could to survive! Hugo always has a daddy joke on his sleeve, and is always ready to help his beloved ones. If he existed in real life, probably he would be an Uber driver lol

Rose, Duncan and Theodore (Joan Cousland, Alistair, and Ser Gilmore’s kids) - 9:31, 9:33. Theodore is biologically Ser Gilmore’s son. 

River and Juno (Misha, Faelan and Zevran's kids) - 9:31. The two are Dalish twins. 

Andrea and Amaia (Verroth Brosca, Sinda Aeducan Leliana's daughter) - 9:32. The girls are birthday twins. 

Anders 2 (Dante Amell and Limerick Surana’s son) - 9:31. Dante was pregnant (he’s a transman) at the time towards the end of the Blight. Anders 2 being a brother to Kieran.  

Julian Caron (son of Arianne Caron and Nathaniel Howe) - 9:20. Julian was adopted as a baby by Arianne during a Grey Warden mission in Orlais where she would raise him as her son and bring him with her to Fereldan full time on her decision.

Trevor and Tanya (Estelle Hawke and Varric's son and daughter) - 9:20, 9:33. Trevor was the unintended lovechild of Varric and Bianca and through circumstances, ended up in the care of Estelle Hawke and became her son.

Garrett and Marian (Damian Hawke and Fenris' kids) - 9:35. Damian Hawke is a transman who birthed the fraternal twins.

Inquisitor's kids:

Brock Cadash, Marcus and Magnus Eisley (sons of Nico Cadash and Dorian Pavus) - 9:35. Marcus and Magnus were adopted by Nico and Dorian and were born in the same year as Brock. Brock was the result of a one-night stand and the birth mother gave full custody to Nico.  

Revan, Lunas Lavellan and Leska Cadash-Lavellan (son of Lorna Lavellan and Solas, and daughter of Lorna and Sasha Cadash) - 9:31, 9:42 for Lunas and Leska. Revan is from Lorna's first love she fancied and who was an explorer. But the father died to illness after his last delve, leaving Lorna devastated, but Lorna kept strong to raise her son. Revan would be six in the beginning of Inquisition. He acts like he's smarter than anyone and takes him time to warm up to newer people as he finds it hard to form attachments. Lunas was the result between Lorna and Solas, while Leska was the result from Lorna and Sasha.

Hallani, Assan, Ironbark, and Scarlet Dragon (children of Iron Bull and Liam Lavellan) - 9:36 and 9:42 respectively. Scarlet and her half siblings being half qunari and half elf. Hallani was from a previous marriage between Liam and his former husband, losing him in an accident involving having fallen off a cliff.  

Valkyrie, Anthony, and Kurt (daughter and twin sons of Ivan Trevelyan and Cassandra Pentaghast) - 9:35, 9:43. Valkyrie was from an affair between Ivan and a templar he was infatuated with, but she ended up giving their daughter to the Trevelyans and not being associated with them as the relationship didn’t work out. Ivan does see Valkyrie when he did visit his family.  Anthony and Kurt are twins Ivan has with Cassandra.

Ryder, and Nerissa (twin son and daughter of Iris Trevelyan and Cullen Rutherford) - 9:42. Iris and Cullen married after the twins were born.  

Sherni, Shani and Lydia (twin daughters and singleton daughter of Rasha Adaar and Thom Rainer) - 9:34, 9:42. Rasha Adaar had a girlfriend she loved that resulted in having their twin girls. Rasha would end up losing her girlfriend when she was killed during a job. Lydia was born after the great battle and Thom married Rasha soon after, becoming the dad who stepped up for Sherni and Shani.

In having thought back to Dragon Age, over the years I have been crafting an au where all seven origin Wardens were recruited by Duncan and survived the Joining and would become the Heroes of Fereldan they were meant to be. Plus, the optional Orlesian Grey Warden from Awakening who would assist them in that continuation. Its changed a lot over the years and I think I’m finally satisfied with it. 

And for Dragon Age 2, all three classes Hawke can be existing, but with a twist! One of them is human and the other two are an elf and dwarf who were adopted into the family who become the Champions of Kirkwall they’ll be known as. 

Finally, Dragon Age Inquisition. All six potential Inquisitors survived the catastrophe, but only four of them bear the shared mark within their respective hands, and the other two becoming companions to them. All this existing within the same au saga! Here is what I have so far and I may add more to it. May or may not be a fic using all this, but I wanted to share my own ideas.

A short story I did of my Inquisitor Elowen Trevelyan exploring her past and one of the many reasons she became a rouge (assassin). 

Featuring her siblings, Adrien (who becomes a templar to be at the Circle with Gwen) and Gwendolyn her little sister (a mage). Elowen’s eldest sibling Maxwell is the heir but is quite sick therefore her parents call in a favor so that Elowen is the one to go to the Clave. Elowen also has a much younger sibling Damian, that loves her very much, he also decided to train as a rouge (acher).

Noone's around so! it's the perfect time to talk about my cryptids Trevelyan family.

First, Bann Jean-Phillipe Andrien of Ostwick. The Trevelyans in my canon hold from an old line of merchants, sea masters that arrived at the city when she was still young and freshly built and made her the center of their operations. They brought much coin to Ostwick and secured themselves a place amongst the nobility by a series of clever marriages, deals and offering a steady stream of jobs to the general public. The extensive network of blood relatives to the Trevelyan family derived from all the Trevelyan kids that for years and years refused to sit their asses down and sailed instead, using their charm to find suitors in faraway noble bloodlines. Jean-Phillipe sailed too when he was young, only briefly yet he retains the merchant genious of his anchestors; the Trevelyans are the most wealthy of the noble families of Ostwick and control quite a bit part of the city's trade. The Bann does not shy away from "new money" as much as the rest of the big five families and regularly trades with Ostwick's Grain Lords.

Lady Bedelia Adalyn Callista Trevelyan - Van Markham, previously of Nevarra. Callista is a gifted sculptor and musician, a firm woman of noble birth that carried with her her unparalleled Nevarran talent to plan and set in motion the most efficient plans for whatever she wants to achieve. Though her husband often calls her His General, Mother Trevelyan worked hard to bring Nevarran art to the Free Marches instead of war advice. Festivals organized by her every Spring and Fall are very highly regarded in the Free Marches and many nobles travel from afar to make an appearance. Callista has a sharp instinct when it comes to taking care of her family' social standing and expects from her children to respectfully uphold both their famed heritages.

Their firstborn son, Claude Ernest Valentin, First Enchanter of the Circle of Magi of Ostwick. Valentin was born a charismatic leader and speaker, a people's magnet and loved by all since he was a child. Having the makings of the perfect heir and being the apple of his parents' eyes, he manifested his magic at the age of eleven in a glorious shower of sparkles raining down his birthday cake.

The revelation came as a blow to everyone and especially Valentin himself but his parents, Callista heavy with child, did not give up on him. They could not keep him from the Circle but they did their best to make sure the boy did not feel forgotten. They visited regularly, pushed through their old ties to the Templar Order and the Chantry, donated generous amounts of coin to the Circle. And after a period of one and a half years of battling with depression, Valentin thrived. He studied and excelled, used his noble training to his advantage and grew into a fair First Enchanter with strong connections within Ostwick's Templars and Chantry, strengthening the Trevelyans' standing even within the Circle. Twice a year his mages exited their tower, attending his mother's festivals and interracting with Ostwick's people, citing ancient Nevarran traditions.

The secondborn brother and future head of the family, Simon Basil Bastien, living in Valentin's charismatic shadow of what-could-have-been and managing to emerge from it by his own intelligence and trade smarts. Though never as sociable as his older brother, Basil was born with the very potent combination of his father's trade genius and his mother's capabilities of counting possible outcomes and choosing the best one for him and his own. More strict than Valentin ever was, he demands the best from everyone because he is always giving it his own. Basil began taking care of the family's finances from very early on, after his own demand and under his father's watchful guidance. Both of his parents are very proud of him and as the current heir of the Trevelyan family, he is well received by the rest of the noble families. His social skills are the result of hard work and, though he would never admit it, Basil likes nothing less than meaningless chatter and nothing more than a tranquil garden with a book in his hands and a good, aged red in his glass.

The only Trevelyan daughter, "Lycoris" Maelle Rosette, the White Rose of Ostwick. Socially gifted but completely uninterested in it unless there's something to gain. Rosette was promised to the Chantry as an infant after a particularly high fever that had her parents turn to the Maker for mercy for their baby girl. She did not though fit well in the Cloister and the Sisters made sure to let her family know that the girl was more into studying science and uncovering secrets than learning the Chant. Taking life in her own hands, Rosette soon brushed aside the private tutors her parents had gotten her. Instead, she applied to the University of Orlais, bringing her acceptance letter to her parents with her suitcases already packed. They agreed, unsure but intrigued and Rosette, now naming herself Lycoris, bloomed in the Orlesian Capital, an eager student of chemistry, alchemy and human anatomy. There she also met her first Bardmaster and was called to study the art of spies, an offer her own love for secrets and intrigue would never allow her to deny. Lady Josephine Montilyet became a good friend through this training for they shared the same tutor and even though the antivan girl never finished her courses, the two of them kept their friendship. From the end of her studies and on, Lycoris used her Bard status to further her own network; not much is publicly known but she has since worked as a middlewoman for her family's trade affairs that reach outside the Free Marches.

The last son, Damian Regis Antoine Trevelyan, commonly known and introduced as Antony. Being the youngest son, he had his life mapped out for him from a very early age; he was to serve as a connection between his family and the Chantry, dedicating his life to the Templar order. Having been raised as a devout Andrastian and being easy going by nature, the path of the Templar Knight felt like a secure guideline to the boy and a sure, safe way to benefit his family. Beside his Templar duties, Antony also breezed gracefuly through the circles of nobility in Ostwick, with the naivety of youth and the charm of a high quality education. While though, the young man was always eager to please, he had no care for politics or the Grand Game, something that made both Bann Trevelyan and Basil anxious. More than a few times had Antony received warnings from the heads of the family to keep more to his religious training and be careful in social events but social life chased after him even when he pretended to try and stay away from it. When the war between Templars and Mages erupted, began the most confusing part of his life, filled with a sense of insecurity he had never experienced before. Suddenly, being a Templar wasn't the esteemed profession it used to be and, even though most of Ostwick's Templars remained faithful to the Chantry and there were very few cases of knights abandoning their positions, witnessing part of the Order throw its honour to the mud was a big shock for him. When the announcment of the Conclave reached Ostwick, it shined like a beacon of hope for Antony; he had been stewing in Ostwick's Circle for months, bothered by the lack of responce from the Chantry in a time of great need and feeling his faith being shaken. When it was decided that his sister, Lycoris, would accompany their oldest brother, Valentin, to the Conclave, he stubbornly insisted for the first time in his life to join the select troop that would guard the First Enchanter through his journey to Haven.
