also how am I supposed to focus on literally anything else when I am literally constantly itchy. it feels like the majority of my brain is spent trying to ignore how itchy I am. the irony is that when I do finally focus on something else, that's when I start scratching, because I'm no longer focused on Do Not Scratch

see i am the kind of person who will construct and fall into the exact same schedule every single day with no problem. i NEED this schedule and structure in my life constantly, or i will shrivel up and die. however, i am doomed to grow bored of a life that is just the Schedule every day and so i am always going to fall into the exact same mental breakdown ~once per month that results in my staying up late and fucking everything up in a major way. after this breakdown i will return to the Schedule but with one or two minor changes that will last indefinetly.

My desk mate just told me she had something for me and then handed me a tiny bottle of healing ointment for my hands. I cannot stress enough how sweet this is. I have notoriously dry hands and she’s seen how I’ve struggled to not have them constantly cracking and chapped and she just…got me some good ointment. I’m gonna cry

This is going to sound weird, but I really like lotion. I tend to have dry hands because I wash them a lot, so it's nice to use lotion and feel a bit less crack-y afterwards, lol. It also comes in all sorts of scents, though my sense of smell isn't that great so I can't usually tell. I've started using lotion every night before going to bed so it has time to soak in without getting washed off or rubbing off on things, and it's made my hands feel a bit softer and less sore.
