FGO Draco Summons!

I have saved SQ for a few months in anticipation for Draco. So freaking happy when I got her (even though those that read Ordeal Call Prologue can think I’m a bit crazy lore wise)

Then I decided that since I have SQ and will start saving again for Anni and summer after this banner, used more SQ in here for leveling up NP.

I have two different AU thoughts with Jason Todd running through my head while bouncing back and forth

1) Lightning Guardian Jason Todd with Sky Byakuran.

I made a post about this idea a while back. My mind decides to expand on it while also being mean to Batman if it’s during RHATO #25 AU, Gotham War AU, or if Jason decides to not tell Bruce how deep he is connected to the hidden side of the Mafia while hanging out with Byakuran, Fuuta, and Damian Al-Ghul Wayne

2) Tea Themed Magical Boy/Magical Person Jason Todd who partners up with Reincarnated!OC who is a Milk Themed Magical Girl/Magical Person

This one sprouted during a Magical Girl mood and me wanted for a bit of a DC Fix-It AU. OC remembers enough of Past Life to know that DC has a big bad and several concerning arcs that she didn’t like. Somehow becomes a Magical Girl and decides to travel while weaving a global spell that will protect Earth from global extraterrestrial threats, which is her second objective.

Her first is to befriend Jason Todd and make him have someone to rely on that isn’t connected to his siblings or adopted father’s groups. That somehow ends up with Jason becoming a Magical Boy almost near the end of his Robin career and continuing it when he is revived.

Anyway, those are the two things I can’t get out of my head and will jump at any moment when I passively think about one or the other

One moment I haven't seen talked about before is when Rin returns to the current time to convince Yukio to ditch the Illuminati. And as soon as Yukio tells him that he never planned on joining the Illuminati in the first place, and it was all a ruse to destroy them from the inside, Rin's immediate response is "oh! awesome! Let's go home then"

Like it's funny in and of itself, but it also very clearly showcases Rin's overall feelings for Yukio. No matter what Yukio does or says, Rin will always love him and want to be with him.

Quite genuinely I do not think he can conceptualize a world where Yukio is not with him. I do think his affection for Shiemi is very real and sweet but I also think he would ditch her to save Yukio's life in a heartbeat. Even when Yukio was goading his demon side to kill him, Rin was still seeing his brother through a loving lens - albeit a murderous loving lens, but a loving lens nonetheless.

When he's gained the upper hand and is about to kill Yukio, he even frames it as a kind gesture. Yukio wants to die so Rin will give him what he wants because he is his older brother and he loves him. He doesn't care about the world - he just cares about Yukio. And if this is what he wants, then alright.

And before that, when Rin is arguing with himself, his demon side points out is that Yukio doesn't want to go back with Rin, that he doesn't want him. And Rin very clearly cannot handle that concept, which is why his demon side is able to take control.

He stops himself because Yukio voice that his life has no purpose, no value. But Rin loves him more than anything and would fight to protect him no matter what. His value and his purpose is being Rin's brother, for the two of them to be together at the end of world.

I really really do think for Rin there is no world without Yukio.

This is great. Would be funnier if Billy knows magic as himself and tries to cast a spell to try and save the Joker. But it horribly backfire and now a dying Joker looks worse or has a silly attachment like a googly eyes spring headband on him as he is dying.

People find the dead body and have a laugh while celebrating. Meanwhile Billy is more distraught over this cause he did the spell correctly and had cast it a few times before. He just doesn’t know why the spell did that instead of what he originally intended it to be

(Note this all before anyone outside of Fawcett knows who Billy batson is)

So Billy was in gotham for a simple mission, getting a magical herb that was local to Gotham. Obviously he had to come as Billy Batson and not as Captian Marvel cause he didn't want to get caught by batman. He was walking around a for a while before he spotted some of the herbs growing by an alleyway, with a grin he ran over. The sooner he got what he needed the sooner he could get out.

Unfortunately nothing in life could be that easy. In the middle of the alley there was a gun, with a grimce he picked it up. As he was contemplating how to properly throw away a gun, does it get recycled it's metal right? Or does it get thrown in the regular trash bin?

An ommunous cackling sound starts coming from the other side of the alley way and a shadow figure stands watching him. A trash can gets knocked over startling him and he accidentally pulls the trigger the figure drops, the laughter remains. Billy drops the gun and runs toward the figure with whispered profanity spilling from his mouth.

"I'm sorry, it was an accident" in rushes in a panic trying to stop the bleeding but the man dressed as a clown stops laughing and still a wide smile on his face.

"HELP!! SOMEBODY PLEsse" his voice wavers he's still putting pressure on the bullet wound. A thud drops down behind him. "It was an accident, I don't, I think" he sniffles "I killed him" he whispers out.

He turns and looks at who he persums is batman behind him and instead finds a man stock still with red metal helmet with glowing eyes. He shivers, red hood, he's not opposed to killing the bad guys like batman.

"I swear it was an accident I didn't- I wouldn't- ...I did it tho I killed him" Billy looked away from red hood and back at the man he killed, he was dressed as a clown gods was he going to a birthday party did he not only kills someone but also ruin another kids party. He is the worst.

"You-" a shaky voice starts hesitated for a second before continuing, "fuck you killed the Joker, that's-" he breaks off into a wet sounding laugh. Billy tenses shit did this guy know this clown was it for his kids birthday.

"It's fine kid your all good. I can take care of it from here. Don't play with guns, tho got it" Red hood says his voice sounding oddly warm.

(So I had a couple ideas for this same premise, Billy accidentally or sometimes "accidentally shooting and killing the Joker so here's another route this could have taken)

"HELP!! SOMEBODY PLEsse" his voice wavers he's still putting pressure on the bullet wound. A thud drops down behind him. "It was an accident, I don't, I think" he sniffles "I killed him" he whispers out.

"Fuuuuccccckkkk did that kid kill the joker!" A baffled voice asks. Billy turns to see two cops and picks his lips nervously.

"Hey kid common up back away from him, Jim watch the kids, could be a set up" Billy swallow and walks over to the cop who remained behind eyes trained on his partner one hand ready to radio for help the other hovering over his holster.

"Shit, well I'll be damned. The kid got a lucky shot." The cop who approached the body said with a grin after checking for a pulse. "Officer Jackson speaking, the jokers dead" he spoke into his radio.

"Are you sure?" A voice asked over the radio in disbelief "pretty sure, bullet through the heart would have died almost instantly no pulse kicked him even no response, sucker's dead as a door knob" the office replied relief and joy in his voice.

"Aye Jim take the kid out for dinner kid deserves it, wait yold on" officer Jackson says pulling out his wallet pulls out 4 20s and a couple tens. "Here kid take this, all ongot on me right now but I feel like I gotta give you something not enough but all I got on me"

Lawyer: please don't listen to my client he is in shock he had a recent encounter with the Joker

Judge nodding along: strick that from the record and disregard that statement

Jury after seeing a grainy video of Billy shooting the joker: he is guilt free let the child go and he should be given a sum of money for the court wasting his time

Dimension 20’s Unsleeping City x Batman Series

((Can’t get this idea out of my head. So have it here))

Imagine, a setting similar to the Unsleeping City universe but it is Gotham. Cause if there is a version similar to New York’s Unsleeping City in San Francisco, then doesn’t that imply there are other major cities that have something like that? As one of my current fandoms is the BatFam/DCU, hence this idea is born.

Gotham is most likely a Cursed City, so it attracts certain types of people to it. So what if that notion is more literal and that there are three facets to Gotham?

One side is for the regular Gothamites that tries to live their lives while being caught up in the Rogue Attacks and the BatFam handling it?

One side is for the Criminal Underground that are tied with crime groups such as the gangs, mafia, and others for those that make a living out of it.

One side is for the Supernaturals that seek live, refuge or hide in Gotham and are hidden by the Veil of Curses that makes up Gotham.

All of these folks under the watchful eye(s) of Lady Gotham can have more than one version of themselves. They are all normal citizens of Gotham City after all.

Like a there can be a Gothamite-born Supernatural goon that is working for a Rogue and a normal job to make meets ends just to survive another day.

Or a businessman who works for Wayne Tech that doesn’t know his coworker has Gnome Ancestry in her blood.

There can even be a regular gang member that wants out to live a normal life crime-free.

Just bits and bobs that are a mix of things found in New York’s Unsleeping City and regular Gotham to make this Cursed City idea into something more magical.

As for the Bats, they are subconsciously aware of the Cursed City side of things but can’t perceive into it unless they have known about it before. Someone like Duke for example would know about the Supernatural side but thinks they are just regular Gothamites and not violating the Bat’s No-Meta Rule

This actually applies to all of the Rogues and gangs in Gotham as well. The Supernatural side wants to stay hidden and not bring attention to themselves, so they keep their noses down to not bring attention. Then when Batman appears and declares a “No-Meta” Rule, the citizens of the Cursed City latch onto that and twists it into a spell that would make the rising Vigilante and Rogues not think too hard about the goons that are a bit more durable, can hit too hard, or jump a bit higher than normal.

There are still crimes that are lead by the Supernatural and stay within the Supernatural. Those crimes are hidden with all of the other kinds in Gotham.

A five year cold case could actually have a damming piece of evidence tucked away a couple of inches underground in the Supernatural variety.

A Supernatural murder found by the Non-Supernatural can still have the murderer arrested with evidence that looks similar enough to the original crime in a more mundane setting.

Who in the BatFam knows of this Supernatural side and are there Voxs?

As for the Voxs, of course they exist. Though I think their names might be a bit different? Haven’t decided yet.

There is one for the Regular Gothamite that works closely with the Criminal Gothamite and one for the Supernatural. They all represent Gotham City, they focus more on their respective aspects of Gotham a bit more. Since it’s a Venn Diagram for the three aspects.

As for the BatFam, those that already know of the Supernatural Side are Duke Thomas, Jason Todd, Cassandra Cain, Bette Kane, Jean-Paul Valley and Alfred Pennyworth. The others can be introduced later on but it all depends on Lady Gotham and what the City feels like it won’t disturb the Balance.

All have the touch of Supernatural and Lady Gotham’s Approval that allows them to see past the spell into the side of Gotham that has been around longer than Batman.

Some Bats decide not to bother the Supernatural side unless if it interferes with their work or if someone is in danger. Others decide to embrace this side and help out where Batman can’t. The Supernatural side in turn observes and gives the same treatment in return while also steering clear of those that don’t have the touch.

The Rogues are given the same treatment as the Bats but the Supernatural loves to take any failed or old tech/items that aren’t used anymore by the Rogues and reform it to something beneficial for them.

Like taking an old model of Mr. Freeze’s gun and reform it to a device to keep a passing colony of Winter Spirits safe from a surprise heat wave.

Or Poison Ivy giving a Dryad mulch made from dead plants as well as a bag of pollen.

Just things like this that makes Gotham City the same as in canon but with a bit extra to it.

That is all I have. I was really inspired by the Unsleeping City to make this. Like I want a lowkey crossover but no idea what I want in it.

One idea is having Jason represent the people of Crime Alley (normal and dream versions) as a Vox-esque person meeting Pete to learn more on what it means or something like that.

Or the Vox-esque of Gotham (real world) meeting Batman for the first time and Batman getting a feeling to make sure this person stays safe in Gotham and gifts the Vox-esque an emergency beacon

Heck, Cassandra immediately arriving in Gotham and is pulled into the dream side of things because of her sight that makes her see All. Then her navigating this “strange city” until she is eventually guided to Batman and Barbara

Realistically, a household the size of Wayne Manor needs more than just a butler, and while Bruce might imagine he can keep his proclivities secret from his own domestic staff, Alfred certainly harbours no such illusions. I've gotta wonder what the orientation lecture he's worked out looks like. Like, of course they're going to be extensively vetted before they ever set foot on the premises, but at some point during the onboarding process the subject of the Batcave has gotta come up – I just wanna know how Alfred broaches that.

Jason Todd returns to Gotham and things get... better?

Sure, Red Hood stops the supply of drugs to kids, and the working girls are safer than ever, and those who are desperate enough to resort to goonery are finally able to actually put food on their respective tables, but there's something else. Something strange and more than a little intangible.

It's the weather that Gothamites notice first. It doesn't rain as much; the year following Hood's rise to power has record-low rainfall, almost on par with Metropolis for once. The air quality index goes down a hundred points, and if you ask the average resident, they might swear that the sun is somehow brighter these days.

Then, the crime rates start to plummet. A 40% reduction of domestic violence. 30% less murders. 60% less sexual assaults. And not just in Crime Alley, where the Hood is on the prowl: crime is down all over Gotham.

Public health is next. The rate of birth defects goes down 70%. Cancer diagnoses are halved. Cases of Sudden Infant Death Syndrom dwindle. Vaccines finally manage flush out the last stubborn vestiges of preventable disease.

And then there's the weird stuff. A Gothamite wins the lottery for the first time in history. A woman gives birth to healthy octuplets. The number of accidental deaths reaches an all-time low. There are sightings of a strange man slicing glowing blades through the air, leaving light and lightness in his wake.

And, one day, years after Jason's return, the Justice League Dark visit. John Constantine turns to the Batman and says, "Love what you've done with the place, mate. Who'd you get to remove all the curses?"

I like to think that thanks to Jason's death, Dick's hair became straighter and let it grew bacause he couldn't care less. He was trying to be a good brother to Tim tho, and Timmy was trying to also be a good brother but you know, he was doing the best a little kid could know.

the JL is dealing with an all-hands-on-deck kind of magical threat. most of everyone is doing damage control and evacuation of civilians as they wait for the magical-leaning members of the JL to figure out a way to deal with the Big Bad of the week.

so you have the JL Dark sitting in a room with the big bad Bat who insisted he needed to be present to oversee their planning (unsurprising, since he’s a known paranoid bastard and never knows when to take a step back) and for some reason, the Red Hood, who refused to provide a reason for his presence (surprising, since he’s usually not one to back down from a fight, verbal or otherwise)

the JL Dark is getting kind of desperate because every time they get a new idea, someone else has to shut it down because it’s either too dangerous, too destructive, they don’t have the resources or it’s not worth the risk. eventually, Constantine admits (laments, really, but he’s never gonna admit that) that they don’t have a way to defeat their foe and that they’ll probably need to go on the hunt for some magical artifact to assist them, and who’s to say how long that’s gonna take?

that’s when the Red Hood pipes up for the first time since he imposed his presence on them, and asks just how evil the Big Bad is.

when it’s confirmed that it’s evil evil, the Red Hood leaves the room without a word

within the next hour, the Big Bad is defeated. the Red Hood passes out before anyone can get an answer out of him. and he goes off the map again before they can corner him once he recovers

So I’m catching up on Batman lore and comics.

I NEED A FANFIC WHERE SOMEONE SITS DOWN AND TELLS JASON THAT BATMAN TRIED TO KILL THE JOKER, ALMOST STARTED A WAR, AND WAS STOPPED BY SUPERMAN.

It drives me insane that the only reason Joker is not in a lead box at the bottom of Gotham Harbor is he somehow magically became the Iranian ambassador (how?!) and the UN hired Superman to stop Batman from causing WW3.

AND NO ONE TELLS JASON!

Oh! I hear you cry, But he saved Joker’s life after Dick beat him to death! Jason deserves to be angry.

OH BULLSHIT!

Dick wasn’t trying to avenging Jason! He almost kills Joker by mistake in a moment of grief and Joker egging him on! Dick literally mourns after he realizes what he’s done, claiming by killing the Joker “Joker won.”

So why would Batman save the Joker? I’ll tell you why. Batman didn’t save the Joker for Joker! Batman saved the Joker to save Dick!

Dick is acting on revenge for the near death of Tim and despite it being Killer Croc who had captured and presumably killed Tim, Dick blames the Joker and goes on a poorly thought out vengeance quest that haunts him even when it doesn’t work. He’s spiraling the minute Tim points out Joker is dead. You really think Bruce couldn’t see the writing on the wall that actually killing someone would destroy Dick and try to minimize the guilt Dick would feel by not letting the Joker die.

His second son is dead. The third was just thought to be dead. Batman isn’t going to sit back and let his oldest kill himself!

(Now you could argue all that I’m saying is fandom rationalizations of weird character choices made by multiple writers over at DC (Disregard Canon). Batman does let Dick walk away in shame after reviving Joker. But if I chose to forget that Bruce PUNCHES Dick after Dick rightfully demands to know why Bruce didn’t try to tell him his brother died before the funeral, I can damn well recontextualize a stupid panel and scrape together a consistent character profile based on the versions of Batman that I like! Fuck you!)

So yes! SOMEONE PLEASE JUST TELL JASON WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED AFTER HE DIED SO HE CAN MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION FOR ONCE!
