Have the plushie I’ve been workin on for the last two and a half months But Horrorboros turned out so cute QwQ Took me a long while to make this as I never use a sewin machine for plushies haha xD When I saw this critter in Splatoon for the first time I knew I had to make a plushie of it Inside the “fryin pan” in its mouth is actually a little speaker that will play the scream it makes ingame... not very loudly tho sadly Big thanks to my good friend and assistant who would go out in hot weather to hold the Horrorboros up in front of these neat backgrounds and to lemme use his backpack for the closeup pics!

the salmonid party is DONE!!!

this is my biggest piece i've done in years, took me multiple sessions to get her done,,, respect to the artists that run off of their detailed art prints bc man that takes patience,, this will be available as an art print in a future shop update!! Really happy with how it came out, its fun and silly and unserious,,, maybe i should make a serious king salmonid one next :thinking:

Imagine. Youre a salmon running group. You see another group in the distance, running around some rocks and picking up golden eggs. They call to you, wanting to pass the eggs to your basket. So you come closer. The first of the group wades into the water, offering one of the eggs....

...with a smile thats reaching her eyes...

Too late. The "others" in her group have grabbed the rest of your team. Glass eyes and rubber tentacles. Dragged into open maws that surfaced from the deep.

Youll see one of the heads braiding another heads' "hair", usually. While the middle head tinkers with one of the puppets.

Sometimes the middle head goes and picks beaks and ragged clothes/hardhats from her sisters' teeth. Like one of those cleaner fish

For a so called monster, shes well-groomed. Makes sure her scales are all shiny and clean and the middle head dressed all nice and neat :)

"Scylla" btw is what the Inkfish call her. Inspired from legends of antiquity. Her salmonid title is likely smth else.

Well, I awoke to some interesting news that has the entire Splatfandom buzzing like a kicked beehive.

Nintendo really be pulling all the stops into this Grandfest.

A BigRun, heading directly for the same location the Grandfest is taking place?!

We who know enough about the lore and theorized this could happen from hints hear and there. For one the Seven Rings Prophecy, @rassicas has covered a bit on that and another dude on Twitter Senpai, pretty much guessed 100% correctly kudos to them!

I think this Grandfest and Bigrun might be deciding the ultimate fate of the Salmonids. Think about it...the Seven Rings Prophesy been building up since Splatoon 2. 5 years, time skipped counting ingame two years = 7 years. Funny number right? I think all idols, Grizzco and whoever else is in charge got wind of this incoming disaster, and planned for the Grandfest to act as some kind of subtle version of a city wide evacuation! The Grandfest itself is acting like some kind of cover and a way to increase all the participating Infish Resonance Hype Factor. Examples: how the Idols music seems to effect the agent's at just the right moment. All of this to help defeat a Prophecy from long ago.

Don't forget that one glimpse we saw that golden boat in the beginning of the trailer...Noah's Ark anybody?!

Senpai from Twitter certainly had a clearer idea or insight then I did!

*Raises Eyebrow* We also only started to get BigRuns in Splatoon 3...introducing us to King Salmonids. My gut is telling me this feels like the ending crescendo of a song that's been slowly building to its Climax. And it's all gonna end with clashing a cacophony of tremendous proportions.

And we the Players are the participating Audience.
