So. It's been two years since I've posted my first (and only) sort of guide on how I draw my inkfish. I've been playing around with their designs lately and recently gave them a small update so I figured now would be a good time to draw blank cephalopods again for the sake of me loving to compare my older art with my newer ones heeeere are the old designs. I need you all to see what I just finished

A life sized crochet Sinosauropteryx prima complete with pico-feathering in as scientifically-accurate of a pattern and color as I possibly could. I had to read some literature to get it right but I think this is one of the best projects I've ever made. What do I name her? 2-L 7Up bottle for scale

I've been working on her since September. The entire base was crocheted in this mustard I had a million skeins of. She didn't even use up one

I love her so much she's gonna sit above my TV in the living room for now until we move and I can have a Designated Spot for her <3

Her mouth can open and close and I purposefully put her in a laying-down position so that she can lay on surfaces well. 4 toes on each foot and 3 fingers on each hand :)

Never really post about it but I do occasionally work with clay!! Wanted to sculpt my salmonid design,, some details aren't perfect, like the back fins aren't as seal like??? and close to the tail as I wanted, but I'm really proud of this piece overall. Hoping one day to be able to give them a smallfry friend

Messing around with some salmons

I had the most self indulgent thought ever of "what if salmonids were like seals". so I present to you my take on salmonids. VERY much inspired off leopard seals and sea lions because they're just the animals ever

Despite being like my favorite species in Splatoon (to have canon lore attached to them anyways), I don't think I give salmonids nor my salmonid ocs enough love??? So have not one, not two, but THREE salmonid ocs!!! I've been wanting to make a Horrorboros oc for a WHILE. Horrorboros is like my favorite Splatoon character so it was bound to happen eventually

Have a Sparrow showing off a comic!! This was just a small ish thing, wanted to do a bit more with like chromatophore patterns and all that because they looked realll fun to draw

Wanted to draw something with all the members of Rock the Boat together,, I'm not the proudest with the shading but I do like how it turned out overall

Also wanted to give Monika and Camryn's ref some refreshers. Never separate them.
