I feel like comic writers and some fans have forgotten that Young Justice is mostly about the girls. The main storylines were about Secret/Greta, Cissie, and Anita. The boys were there but they had their own runs. Take Young Justice Dark Crisis, yeah it's all about the boys IF you only read the first 5 ish comics. After that it's either big comic events or about the girls. Really the girls are the main characters of Young Justice, the boys are there to draw people in.

The most important lesson from Ma that Wario took to heart was the endless pursuit of cold, hard cash. Unfortunately, the one lesson she could never teach him was the importance of hard work to get it.  It wasn't for lack of trying; Wario's Ma is the hardest worker this side of the Mushroom Kingdom.  Raising Baby Wario was a herculean enough task on its own, but ever the enterprising spirit, she had also set out to grow one of the most profitable crops: garlic.

Her backyard business quickly expanded into a veritable garlic empire. Wario's mother toiled away tirelessly each day from sunrise to sunset to grow and harvest as much garlic as she could possibly achieve.  Much of Wario's current strength and endurance can be attributed to helping his mom on the farm as a child, although the teeth-pulling task of getting him to actually work was almost as difficult as preventing him from eating all the garlic straight out of the ground.  Wario's nose for instant gratification has always been a thorn in his mother's side, but try as she might to instill a solid work ethic into the boy, her "get-rich-slow" schemes could never appeal to him.  Still, Wario enjoyed his surprisingly agrarian upbringing. Along with garlic, his mother also raised chickens for eggs, inspiring in Wario a lifelong soft spot for poultry.  (He also had a pet hamster named Fluffy, who sadly passed away in 1986.)

Today, Wario is still on good terms with his mother despite their physical distance, and frequent phone calls keep her updated on all of Wario's business successes.  Of course, being Wario, he heavily embellishes the amount of work he actually does at his company.  If she only knew...

listen everyone’s all karnadeli this colindeli that and i get it they’re both so juicy. but let’s set shipping aside for a second because i also need people to be a thousand times more invested in colin and karna being slow burn best friends who come to a gradual understanding of each other and eventually bond over their surprisingly similar traumas and hangups. I want them to gossip over meals and share commiserating glances when the nobility do some stupid rich people shit. I want colin and karna to team up during arguments, and deli to be exhausted because he has to deal with the fact that his skalds have unionized. I want them to quietly have each others backs, even though they’d never fucking admit it if you asked. Are you all seeing my vision.

Skully gonna panic so hard the first time Eleanora gets sick with a cold at Ramshackle or when he first sees her cough up blood. 😭

Baby boy is like from the 1500s or 1700s. If it’s just a cold, he’s gonna panic and quarantine her and run for the nurse’s office because colds be deadly. He’s gonna have a handkerchief over his mouth and everything, Gidel in tow mimicking him, and Poma is gonna be so confused when the boys burst into his office like, “MISS ELEANORA HAS THE COLD!!! NURSE, HELP! SHE’S SO FRAIL SHE’LL DIE AT THIS RATE!”

Poma: “…OH. OH RIGHT. Skully, sweetie, she’ll be fine. Colds aren’t that severe anymore, although with her it can be iffy…”

Skully, crying: “MISS ELEANORA IS-“

Poma: “NOPE NO SHE’S FINE I PROMISE. JUST BRING HER HERE AND I’LL LOOK AFTER HER IT’S OKAY.”

If Skully sees her coughing blood… he gonna think she has the plague. Immediate evacuation. He’s gonna be screaming to the campus to stay away from Ramshackle.

Everyone who knows is gonna have to pull him aside like, “Buddy, she’s just CURSED. This is normal.”

And then he becomes the most stubborn caretaker ever like, “NO YOU ARE UNWELL STAY SITTING DO NOT GET OUT OF BED. Do you want soup? I’ll ask the ghosts for some soup. Here, have another blanket- it’s okay, I’ll keep an eye on Gidel and Grim! Uh, where’s Grim now? …I’ll find out! GHOSTIES- er, Larry and Moe, was it? Make sure she doesn’t get up! We don’t want that cold getting worse! Gidel, have you seen Grim? EH, HE’S OUTSIDE??? Ah… well, come with me then! We must fetch the kitty cat! And then we can ask the chef ghosts for soup! Wait, where’s Curly? Curly, can you ask the cafeteria ghosts for us if they can make Miss Eleanora some soup? Ah, wonderful! Thank you very much! This way, Gidel!”

Every time LDS kids come to my neighborhood I am so so nice to them. I hope they remember the blue haired lady who was kind, when people try to convince them the outside world is bad and scary. (Also they are always so young! I want to feed them cookies and give them Diana Wynne Jones books or something)

Thank you! Honestly, this sort of kindness can go a really long way, even if it doesn't seem like it at the time.

LDS children and missionaries (and the majority of the latter are barely of age) are often the people who interact the most with non-Mormons on a daily basis, and thus are kind of the "face" of the Church to non-Mormons a lot of the time. As a result, they're frequently the ones who actually experience the brunt of antagonism towards the Church, which only reinforces the distrust they've already been taught to feel towards the rest of the world.

It's not that the Church doesn't deserve this antagonism, but a lot of people seem to take this enormous pride in showing up Mormon teenagers who have spent most of their lives under intense social pressure, instruction, expectation, and close observation from both their peers and from older authorities in the Church (it largely operates on seniority, so young unmarried people in particular tend to have very little power within its hierarchies). Being "owned" for clout by non-Mormons doesn't prove anything to most of them except that their leaders and parents are right and they can't trust people outside the Church.

The fact that the Church usually does provide a tightly-knit community, a distinct and familiar culture, and a well-developed infrastructure for supporting its members' needs as long as they do [xyz] means that there can be very concrete benefits to staying in the Church, staying closeted, whatever. So if, additionally, a Mormon kid has every reason to think that nobody outside the Church is going to extend compassion or kindness towards them, that the rest of the world really is as hostile and dangerous as they've been told, the stakes for leaving are all the higher, despite the costs of staying.

So people from "outside" who disrupt this narrative of a hostile, threatening world that cannot conceivably understand their experiences or perspectives can be really important. It's important for them to know that there are communities and reliable support systems outside the Church, that leaving the Church does not have to mean being a pariah in every context, that there are concrete resources outside the Church, that compassion and decency in ordinary day-to-day life is not the province of any particular religion or sect and can be found anywhere. This kind of information can be really important evidence for people to have when they are deciding how much they're willing to risk losing.

So yeah, all of this is to say that you're doing a good thing that may well provide a lifeline for very vulnerable people, even if you don't personally see results at the time.
