Oh my gosh I did an accidental genius thing AGAIN. I titled this piece, feeling Blue, cuz it’s blue, and cuz it’s sad, and cuz you feel Blue’s emotions

I wanna explore Blue’s character more, or the character that I gave him. His anger issues and reclusiveness really resonated with me obviously and I’ve just been thinking about this issue long term. He’s very lonely, he doesn’t have any friends outside his family, and the one friend that Link had is scared of him because he’s so aggressive and rude. Blue is more recluse and enjoys his time alone, but at times he does feel very lonely. His brothers have other friends they hang out with and his father is always so busy. He’s convinced himself that everyone hates him, especially his father. He and Blue butt heads a lot, Blue is hot headed and Leon is trying to get used to raising 4 sons instead of 1. There would be tension. A lot of stuff happens and Blue runs away. Leon goes after him since he’s an unstable teenager and being a teenager is the worst, and they start to understand each other a bit. Here’s the accidental genius part:

Everyone thinks that Green takes after Leon. He’s a natural leader, chivalrous, and polite. And no doubt all the colors take after Leon in some way. But Blue is really the one who’s more like Leon. Though he’s changed due to age and experience, Leon also is recluse. He’s hotheaded and struggles connecting with people. When he was a kid, around Blue’s age, it was horrible for him. He was just as angry as Blue, just as socially awkward, and just as lonely. As Leon has gotten older, he’s gotten much better of course. More patient and calm, and he’s able to talk to people. He even is the first knight, leading on the others in the kingdom. Yet carrying a casual conversation with the knights is difficult for him. He doesn’t have super close friends. Just like Blue. They connect in that sense that, yeah, it’s hard. It’s hard connecting with people. Especially when you highly value your alone time. The accidental genius was that I made Leon’s clothes blue. I was trying to figure out what to even make them, but making them blue visually showed how similar they truly are.

Idk, typing this out sounds kinda stupid now but that’s just what I’ve been thinking about. Again they’re not exactly the same, but Leon was a lot like Blue when he was younger. Deep down he has the same struggles, it’s just harder to see.

If Jayce died and was resurrected by the Hexcore I could totally see him going through this experience.

A big part of Jayce’s character is how his privilege and naïveté blind him even with his good intentions and genuinely caring nature. Yeah he had that near-death experience when he was a child but I think that trauma was overshadowed by being saved by a cool, mysterious mage.

Now cut to Viktor, in a moment of desperation, revoking his own promise and merging Jayce with the Hexcore.

Jayce now has to face the fact that he died, that all his accomplishments ultimate led to nothing, his “legacy” sparking a war. He had plans to quit the council and return to lab, but can he really do that now? Jayce’s body has been irreversibly changed by something Viktor wanted destroyed. Even though it was Viktor’s best chance to save him.

And that’s the thing isn’t it? Viktor might not even last the year. Jayce, mentally shaken, wants to hold onto his partner as the only source of stability. But Viktor’s time is limited. What’s Jayce going to do without him?

Jayce was always overconfident. He never thought about his own death, or seriously cos orders Viktor’s. He was devastated to hear the diagnosis of course. But the moment the shock wore off Jayce was already thinking of potential solutions. Jayce had refused to accept the fact that he might fail; that Viktor’s life was already forfeit.

Jayce is scared. A shell of his former self. And neither he nor Viktor know how to fix any of it.

"came back wrong" what about Came Back Afraid. You used to be brave. Too brave maybe, defying the odds at every turn, a fighter, cocky, playing with fire, first to throw yourself at the enemy. Until one day it all caught up to you. You came back, somehow, but now you know all too intimately how it feels to lose, to die, to be destroyed. Now you flinch and freeze and cower at the slightest provocation. Who even are you now if you can't be brave? The grave may have let you go, but the mortal fear still grips you tighter than ever.

I have made. Another comic. I took a very, very long time, as usual lmao. I originally got inspired to make this after watching through Arcane cuz. Nicely done media makes me want to make things and all that. And, at that time, I'd sent Narinder out on a mission trip in my new save and he came home full of existential dread (I have terrible luck with Narinder on missions therefore so does QPR AU Lambert I guess lol), and it had occurred to me that that would make an interesting premise for a comic maybe?? Turns out it did.

I think I'm happy with this?? The perfectionist in me is not, and to be honest I think I could've drawn a lot of things better and also I think this would read better if it felt a little slower... but also it's 13 pages long so I can't fault myself all that much. I do wish I had spent more time on some of these interactions, particularly between Lambert and the Goat and also between Narinder and his siblings, I have a lot of thoughts about the Bishops post their joining the cult but I haven't had a ton of time to really like... flesh out those ideas as much as I would like to. Maybe someday?? Idk.

Semi-related, while this comic gave me a lot of thoughts about the Bishops it also gave me a lot of thoughts about like, the exact like, I guess boundaries and terms of Narinder and Lambert's QPR, and also about what exactly happened to Narinder while he was out, and he's not lying a lot did happen but that's a little too long to just throw in the description here so maybe future me will describe it somewhere or something. This comic also got me thinking about Webber a fair bit, and once day I will expand upon those thoughts but not today, I have outside activities today lol

Anyways. This comic, like all my art, is not perfect, but it was fun to make and I spent too long on it for nobody to see it, so... enjoy!!

I think one of the most tragic things is Caryn Pines and motherhood.

Like when we see her, it's quite obvious that she loves her sons. And that like many families, has a soft spot for Stanley. Because he's the possible baby of the family, her little surprise, her free spirit. Out of everyone other than Ford, Caryn was someone who loved Stanley. And who was in his corner. An example of this was when her husband and Ford were excited about the school and she immediately cut in to ask-

"What about Stanley?"

Just from that little bit we can see that she loves him. That she's always thinking of her son. So imagine you're her, and then you lose your son because your husband kicked him out. A teenager who can't face the world yet, and yet you're powerless to do anything. So you have to wait for your boy to reach out to you, and every day you wonder if he's somewhere safe. If he's someplace warm, and if he's eating a hot meal and sleeping in a warm bed. And for awhile that gives you some sort of comfort, because your baby's still out there somewhere. Not with you, but still in this world.

And then you hear about it.

The firey car crash.

And the person in that inferno was your son. Your free spirit, your baby.

Can you imagine, how devastating that'd be? To learn that your son is dead, and had died alone and in pain and fear. And the kicker?

There wasn't even a funeral held for him.

It's almost as if Stanley never existed. Like he was never important. And that probably ate at Caryn Pines in ways that cut deeply. Because Stanley was important to her, was important to Stanford and now he's gone and she didn't even get to say goodbye to her boy. She'll forever have a hole in her heart, a piece missing because her Stanley is gone. And she'll never be able to fill it because no one can replace her baby. And we don't know if Caryn's still alive or not, so there's the horrifying possibility. That she died believing that Stan was dead. That she died in her grief that only a mother can feel. That she died, unaware that the boy she grieved for was next to her the entire time. Forced to pretend to be his brother, in order to save him from his own creation and fix mistakes that he believes he made that hurt Ford.

So close to her son, yet so far away.

A tragedy.

Hello! I've been an artist for around 5 to 6 years, and I still kinda suck at it! I do traditional art normally but I've been branching out to digital art as well. I mostly draw animals, anthropomorphic creatures, creatures in general, whatever beautifully ugly faces I can come up with, and sometimes human faces!

I classify as a furry but do not reblog a ton of furry stuff nor do I have a fursuit. I just like drawing and seeing anthropomorphic animals :3

I think eye bags and wrinkles are pretty (odd, I know lol), I live in a bus (not decked out like you see on social media though.
