I’m watching the current season of Crime Scene Kitchrn on Fox. Started with 12 teams of two, with six teams eliminated so far.

But I think the show might be perpetuating the stereotype that all male bakers are gay. Of the six remaining male bakers, find them appear to identify as gay. And I have suspicions about the sixth one.

On the eve of Devil´s Night (October 30th), one thing that is not often talked about when discussing "The Crow" (1994) is how amazing the soundtrack is. It could have been strictly just goth music and it would have been fine, but it´s actually a wide variety of dark and brooding music that that ranges from post-punk, grunge, metal, industrial and beyond. I mean look at this tracklist, it had Nine Inch Nails doing a cover of Joy Division! it is truly a 90´s gem:

Warped and woozy psych funk from Dayton Ohio - apparently they were a motorcycle gang, performed crazed pornographic shows, and sometimes featured a vocalist known as "Cookieman". There's a strong Curtis Mayfield influence, even quoting from Keep On Pushing in the coda
