Dear Anti-Endos,

Respectfully, get the fuck out of pro-endo spaces. I know it's hard for you to watch us being happy and accepting ourselves for who we are. But that doesn't give you an excuse to raid our communities.

We don't hurt you. We don't claim to be taking over the community, nor do we "glamorise" plurality. We exist, and have carved out spaces for us just as you did for yourselves. We do not invade your spaces, telling you how to live, or how to present yourselves.

All we do is exist, being our own people. I don't understand what compels you to attack us, to make us want to revaluate everything about ourselves. Telling us we can't exist, or that we're lying to ourselves about our trauma, is completely unwarranted.

And as a reminder, plurality is defined as the state of two or more conscious beings sharing a physical vessel. There is no mention of trauma in that definition.

I just really wanted to say that, if you're thinking about leaving a harmful community/left a harmful community, it is a lie that you will not be accepted in other spaces anymore.

Many communities will try to tell you that if you join that community and then regret it no other communities will accept you, or that you will never be able to leave (you will), or that that community is the only community that will accept you as you are, but that is a lie.

People disagree with each other all of the time. No one, NO ONE, thinks the same way as everyone else. Just like someone thinks another color you don't like is prettier than your favorite color, people will have different opinions about different things all the time. And even if you don't agree, what can you do about it? Buy a laser beam and control the minds of everyone in the world? That's impossible. You can try to spread awareness, try to spread the word about why you think something is wrong and harmful, but we are all different people, we have different names, different looks, different brains, and different opinions about all sorts of things. Even if sometimes that's a bad thing, a bad opinion, a harmful opinion like many things around this hellsite.

Everyone has the right to change their mind about anything, everything. No matter how hard you worked at it, no matter how much effort you put into it, everyone has the right to regret it and change. It doesn't matter if you were focused on joining that community or if you joined it by your own free will, if you regret it and change (or are trying and doing your best to change), it is no longer a part of you.

Even if some people look at you in a strange way, you will be accepted. If you were something and became an anti, or if you were an anti and became something, what you were before and changed is no longer what you are now. That's what change is about, that's what change means.

You will be accepted. You have the right to regret. You have the right to leave everything behind. You can always change.

I really love Heartstopper, I really do. But there's something that's been bothering me ever since watching season 2.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: Bullying, self harm, eating disorders, and ocd.

Charlie's bullying was a big deal since the very beginning. It was first mentioned in the first episode at time stamp 18:24, very early on. In that scene, we learn that it was so bad that Charlie had to hide in the art room.

Throughout the show, we learn just how badly it affects Charlie to this day. It even caused his eating disorder and OCD. It's looming over, but we never know exactly what happened. We know it was so horrible, felt like the root of Charlie's issues, while we don't know what went down. Not yet.

It's built up for nearly two full seasons. And then, we get the reveal:

And then we go straight back to how it affects Charlie. Some stuff are revealed, like Charlie doing sh. But it still isn't what happened, it's how Charlie reacted.

Obviously, what he said sounds horrible. But the bullying has been built up for two seasons, it's Charlie's backstory. It's what we're told that caused the current issues in his mental health.

Compare it to Ben, who also canonically (in the comics at least) caused his issues. We are there with Charlie. We see all the little and big ways in which Ben abuses him as they unfold.

But this? One line? That's it? It felt incredibly underwhelming, and like there's still more to be revealed. It's not even a paragraph, let alone flashback (which is what I expected). Just one line. One line.
