Walked around and helped myself to Norway Lobster with Chilli Crab Sauce and Fried Mantou. Now, the lobsters were warm and the chilli crab sauce fantastic when you eat it with the mantou but alas, the spiny lobsters weren’t as fresh and succulent as they should be with some on the mushy side.

I enjoyed the Salted Egg Prawn so much that I had seconds. They were not only crunchy but also savoury and sweet with a coating of salted egg yolk sauce. Even better is that I don’t have to deshell them. I think this was my favourite item of the night and my colleague agreed with me.

I avoided the Seafood Spaghetti as the noodles would fill me up and I rather spent it on the other premium proteins. The restaurant was very generous with the Hong Kong Style Barramundi as the fish came in chunky cuts sitting in soya sauce.

This is a LONG one but just had a dream where I saw a tumblr post talking about a website that had you play an online version of an escape room (starting at a fridge, unwrapping a taped-up tub of icecream, and then working your way around an empty-ish apartment).

If you solved it all, the website would give you a random phone number which when called, would give you “black mail worthy information” out of pretty much anyone you wanted. Op said these type of phone numbers originated as far back as 1924 and just happened to somehow find this site that gives them.

There was a linked play through that was roughly 20 minutes long. There was one section where the owner of the apartment could catch you, a lady in an old dress (as in, medieval looking?)

If she caught you snooping about the screen would glitch out and color fry into that lady and a bunch of dolphins frantically screaming “HELP” at you. The rest of the website was set in some dead language(?) and this was the only english word in it.

I didn’t see the full play through or attempt it myself but that one glitching section was becoming a huge tumblr meme and my dash was full of edits of that one part which was annoying.

whenever someone says they dislike seafood I get it. yknow, if you didn't grow up with it, its a weird flavor and the texture can be iffy. however. when someone says they dislike crab I am 100% certain it's bcos they live somewhere where crabs are not native and they've never had good crab. I am convinced if they had a good blue crab crabcake prepared by the most redneck chef you've ever seen then they'd love crab. yes im from Maryland but thats irrelevant. come closer.

this is Eddie! my Eclipse OC, who i've been brainrotting about lately

Eddie used to be a performer, singing and dancing on stage as part of a touring show. He fell in love with another performer, who shared his dream of having a big family some day. but as a robot and a human, they didn't believe it was possible for them. His love eventually left the show to elope with another man—a human man. Years later, they reunite, but she is alone and pregnant. Due to complications during childbirth, his love passes away, leaving behind her twin infants, whom she named Solomon and Lunete. After that, Eddie decides to retire from the stage to raise the twins.

While he misses the stage, he tries his best to be the best father he can be for his kids.

Seafood Thermidor baked till golden-brown on top with creamy sauce and gooey cheese. I could only make out the prawns and mussels embedded in the sticky cheese. Next up, Black Angus Beef Gulai which is a spicy beef curry commonly found in the Malay Archipelago. Initially I had thought that it was beef rendang.

A huge salmon swimming in shallow tomato gravy caught everyone’s attention while basking under the heat lamp and sitting atop the induction warmer. Whole Norwegian Salmon with Tomato Basil Coulis soon had diners digging into the side for the flaky flesh with tangy tomato puree.

Seafood in Mushroom Essence was like a herbal seafood pot filled to the brim with an assortment of shellfish and crustaceans. I should have noticed there were king crab legs in there as one lady was cherry-picking out all the crab legs into her bowl. As for me, I only managed to find one miserable piece to comfort myself. Subsequent top up doesn’t come with any more king crab legs in it. :(

There was Seafood Porridge and Herbal Chicken Soup to help yourself with but I did no such thing. For the porridge, there were nine condiments like pickled vegetables, beans, crispy anchovies etc. to pick from including two sauces.
