okay but seriously. i know a lot of you like bugs, but unfortunately my kitchen pantry is kind of infested rn. we put all of our pantry goods onto the breakfast table a about a week ago and cleaned and put up moth traps. this killed some. however. there is more moths than ever before. we just came back from a two-day road trip and there is i’d say maybe 4-5 moths, and a bunch of little bugs i don’t recognize. not to mention, there is sugar ants in almost every area of the kitchen. they’re not like, everywhere, or anything, but i can count maybe six i saw while preparing a TV dinner. i already struggle finding motivation to make food, and now that it’s this bad i genuinely don’t know what i’m going to do. i don’t feel comfortable eating in my kitchen anymore, and i almost don’t feel comfortable preparing food, even briefly. i’m seriously about to beg my mom to let me call the exterminator about it. does anyone have any tips for the mean time. thank you so much. i know this is a weird post but there is so many wise and knowledgeable people on this website and i hope this post finds them :)

Common Signs of Pest Infestations in Point Cook
Tumblr media
Knowing when to call a professional pest control service is key to preventing a minor issue from becoming a major infestation. If you notice any of the following signs around your pest control Point Cook property, it's time to get in touch with 365 Pest Control for a thorough inspection:
Unusual Noises Hearing scratching, scurrying, or buzzing sounds, especially at night, can indicate the presence of rodents, termites, or other pests. Rats and mice, for example, are most active after dark and may nest in walls or ceilings.
Visible Damage If you notice chewed cables, gnaw marks on furniture, or small holes in walls or furniture, rodents may be the culprits. Termites, on the other hand, cause wood to appear hollow or soft. Early signs of these pests can save you from expensive repairs.
Strange Odors A musty or foul smell may be the result of a rodent infestation, decaying pests, or mold growth caused by water leaks, which can attract pests like termites or cockroaches.
Pest Droppings Pest droppings are one of the most telltale signs of an infestation. If you find small pellets in the kitchen, pantry, or along baseboards, it could be an indication of mice or rats. Ants and cockroaches also leave droppings behind, which can help you identify the issue.
Visible Pests Spotting a single pest isn’t necessarily a reason to panic, but if you consistently see ants, cockroaches, or spiders in your home, it’s a good idea to call in professionals. Some pests, like bed bugs, can multiply quickly and lead to larger infestations.

Constantine was very confused.
When he heard someone had traded their claim on his soul for something Constantine knew he had to track the individual down if only for his peace of mind.
He was not expecting however to find out his soul was traded for a reanimated hot dog.
….
Danny had accepted a lot of weird things in exchange for food from various supernatural beings. He got those ghost weasels from Skulker (they where really good at controlling the Fenton Weenie population) and he got that “May your food never be over or under cooked” blessing from that one god he met. Most of the time Danny found good uses or at least good homes for whatever he traded. Danny however did not know what to do with 1/67th of a soul that a demon gave him in lieu of exact change.
Fenton Street Food
"You know what's better than being a superhero? A street food vendor! Yes, superheroes can save the day, stop villains and receive hatred or admiration as the case may be, but a street vendor? They are at the heart of the action, fulfilling their dreams! They traveled the world feeding the masses, and even met superheroes, feeding them to keep them doing their duty, food carts are the centerpiece of keeping the heroes alive, they are the heroes..."
Maybe if Danny repeated it enough times he'd start to believe it, though seeing the monstrosity that was the Fenton food cart he highly doubted it. More so because it had fucking guns hidden next to the mutant and very alive Hot dogs (which by the way were not sellable, they were the mascots of the brand).
It all started when Jack Fenton talked about his dream of delivering his favorite food around the world, that fueled Maddie Fenton's idea, and since Jazz was in college and Danny was on vacation no one could stop them.
Soon Danny became a victim of his parents' eccentricities. Although the halfa had to admit that selling in Gotham was a lot of fun, thieves didn't think it was worth mugging him and the Rogues themselves bought his food of dubious origins.
It was almost a shame to have to change cities because Batman was getting too suspicious but Metropolis was waiting for him. And he would be back eventually; some bats who had enjoyed his strange roving food stall had waved him off with handkerchiefs, wiping away fake tears. Danny appreciated it.
Besides, Red Robin affirmed to him that he would recommend him to Superboy, so he wouldn't run out of customers anytime soon. He wondered if he should stop by Central City, the Flash Family ate a lot didn't they?

“Do you think that people can change?”
No. Jungkook does not believe that people have the ability to shed their dark desires once they've shown their ugly faces to the world. Once someone has lost control over themselves and their inner demons even just once, it’s over. A wolf's inner beast set free won’t be tamed again, by anyone. There is no coming back from that- and a crime committed has to be punished, especially when there’s not even any effort put into areas trying to redeem one’s self. second chances should always be valued highly if given-
Because everyone has to face judgement for their actions, and if those second chances are wasted, he is the man who will execute the fitting punishment.
Jungkook doesn't believe in second chances.
A man who’s laid his hand on his wife will never truly change his mind and put the shackles onto himself after the line has been crossed. A cheating spouse will not suddenly become loyal as a dog again just because they realize the hurt they’ve caused. A murderer can’t give back the life they’ve taken even if they desperately want to. A young wolf lost to a frenzy can’t gain back their sanity with the snap of a finger.
He is part of the new world’s law.
Violence is the punishment put on people who can’t seem to keep themselves in check even after second chances. Violence is the final answer to the worst of the worst, the people who will never change.
Violence is the thing that changes people- from being alive to no longer being a threat to anyone ever again.
To Jungkook, these people are like maggots, infesting the cities and homes of families who just want to exist and live. Jungkook is the pest control, he removes those insects, cleans out the infestations.
Saves potential victims.
“I didn’t do anything!” the man slurs a little, alcohol in his veins causing him to visibly struggle with his bodily functions, even if he wants to desperately be sober in this moment. You’re sitting in the corner still, watching, well aware not to interfere with a man sent by the people in charge of the wolf’s law to carry out the final judgement.
“Evasion. Armed robbery, twice. Domestic abuse, twice. Attempted kidnap of a child while intoxicated.” Jungkook lists, having memorized what this person is being accused of- or rather yet, has already been judged for in the past. “You’ve shown that you do not aim to change.” He says, not even looking at you once. Instead, he just walks closer, like a predator, staring down his prey. “And now, keeping an omega hostage? Not exactly the actions of a man innocent.”
“I-“ the man tries, but he doesn’t get far with his words. “-There’s- nothing happened- Tell him! Nothing happened, right-?” He asks you, who’s staring him down.
Jungkook looks at you as well now, awaiting your answer.
You’ve got a life in your hands.
Your lips part, but you can’t speak- when suddenly, the man moves again, lifts his hand as he steps towards you, ready to intimidate you into answering if needed- but Jungkook is faster, having seen enough. Even if nothing happened- yet- surely if he was to leave, you’d be another body found. “Where- where are you taking me?” the man begs to know, unable to really go against the hand that holds the back of his head by the hair, fingers tightly dug into the locks to have a secure hold on him as he drags him into a corner or the small, run down house.
In this moment, Jungkook looks like a different person to you. There’s no trace of the man who just wants to help others. The hands that force this stranger to his knees aren’t the same that helped you stand earlier that day, hold gentle and without any intention to hurt. Those eyes are dark as coal, like two black voids swallowing any reflection whole.
“I'll take you straight to hell, where you belong.” Jungkook simply answers the man, before he lets go-
And takes out his gun, to fire the first shot of many.

Alright, here's my dream Stardew Valley style game, designed for my own tastes.
You come to a small town with the usual twenty to thirty people. It's in the middle of nowhere. It's a fantasy town, and no one actually farms anymore, partly because it's only questionably profitable, partly because a lot of the knowledge has been lost. Instead, everyone uses these magic doodads which are very powerful but also very limited. The tavernkeeper has a doodad that makes him a single kind of weak ale and a single variety of off-tasting wine. The clothier has basically a square mile of linen to work with, and everyone wears her drab clothes. Tools are made from a doodad that the blacksmith owns, not even made of any actual metal, just a material that wears away after a month and needs to be replaced by a new copy from the blacksmith's doodad. People get their meals from the doodads. They get their medical checkups. It's all a bit shit.
Because I'm a worldbuilder at heart, I would have this all exist in the wake of a large-scale war that depleted the town of its fighting-age population, with the doodads being a sort of government program to ensure that more of the lifeblood of the town could be drained away. And for there to be some reason for the town to continue existing, perhaps the government is harvesting some resources necessary in the creation of doodads. That's enough for a pro-doodad faction and maybe some minor drama with them, though I do like the idea that the only reason things are Like This is because there was a war and things got bad. It's not necessarily a bleak town, but there's definitely a listlessness to it, a "what's the point".
So you're a farmer, but no one is really a farmer anymore. Maybe there are a few books, but you don't learn farming from books, you learn it from practical experience; that's a lot of what this game is about. When you start, there's no one to buy seeds from, there's just a bunch of wilderness where farms once stood, now all long overgrown.
So you go out and forage, for a start, and you clear the land, and you pay attention to the plants and how they can be used, and you start in on making recipes with them, maybe with the help of your grandfather's old, partially incomplete books. You find some wild corn that's a descendant of the old times. You find some tomato seeds in an urn. You discover potatoes because you see them dug up by a wild boar, which itself was once a domesticated animal.
In my ideal game, you need to pay attention to the soil quality, to how far apart things are planted, to what crops work well together. Farming is a matter of companion planting and polycultures. You get some chickens by giving them consistent feed, and you keep them around because they're natural pest control. Your climbing beans climb the stalks of your maize. You're attracting pollinators. (From a gameplay perspective, yeah, we probably put this all into a grid, and you have crop bonuses from adjacencies, and emergent gameplay that comes from all that, some plants providing shade, others providing nitrogen fixing.) You're a scientist making observations about the plants, maybe with your incomplete book giving you confirmation on the nature of all your crops once you hit certain production goals or a perfect specimen or whatever.
Cooking is the same. There has got to be a system that I like better than just "combine tomato with bread to get tomato bread". I'm pretty sure that it's some variant of the actual process I use when cooking, which is making sure that things are properly cooked, balancing flavors against each other, adding in a little salt or acidity or umami or whatever. Time in the kitchen, in this game, is often about making meals, ensuring that if you have a fatty piece of meat you have some asparagus that's coated with lemon to go with it. (From a gameplay perspective, I think building the dish once is probably sufficient and it can be automated after that, and building the meal is the same. I don't want to play this minigame every time I'm cooking a dish, I just want to play it a single time until I have good knowledge of the best way to grill a BBQ chicken breast with a homemade sauce.)
But if we're having a little minigame here where we pay attention to how long we're cooking the kale to make sure that it's the right texture, and we're paying attention to abstractified mouthfeel and palette, then we can get something else for free: variation. See, you're not just cooking to get an S grade, you're cooking for people with different tastes. The cobbler has a sweet tooth, the librarian loves fruity things, the mayor cannot stand fish, that sort of thing. From a gameplay perspective, maybe we represent this with a radar graph with some specific favorite and least favorite individual flavors, and maybe it's visible to the player, but the important thing is that player gets feedback and have a reason to strive for both "good" and "perfection" and some of this is going to depend on the quality of the ingredients.
And this is, gradually, how the town is brought back into the fullness of life. You're not just cooking for these people, you're also selling them food, and they're making their own recipes, and all the stuff that's not food is making their businesses not suck anymore. After the first test keg of ale goes swimmingly, the tavernkeeper wants more, a lot more, and puts in an order for hops, wheat, grapes, anything he can use to make things that will improve nights at the tavern. The clothier will skeptically take in wool and spin her own yarn, and then eagerly want more, because how awesome is it to have a new textile? There's a chemist who is extremely interested in dyes and paints, and wants you to bring him all kinds of things to see what might be viable for going beyond the ~3 colors that the doodads can provide.
So by year two, if you're doing things right, you're the lynchpin of the revivalist movement. People are now moving to the town, for the first time in decades, because they hear that you're there and doing interesting things with the wilderness. Maybe there are other farmers following in your wake, but maybe it's just new characters who are specifically coming because a crate of wine was shipped to the capital city. Maybe some of them bring new techniques for you, or a handful of plants from a botanical garden, and there are new elements for the minigames, or maybe some automation for the stuff that's old hat.
I think something that's important to me is that there's a reason for the crops you plant and the things you do. I always like these games best when it feels like I'm doing something for someone, when I can look at a plot of cabbages and think "ah, those are the cabbages I owe to Leon". Where these games are at their worst, everything is entirely fungible and I've planted eight million blueberries because they have the highest ROI.
And yeah, in most of these games, there are other minigames like fishing and mining and logging and crafting, and since this is just a blog post and not a game, I definitely could massively expand an already sizeable scope.
I think for mining the player would use doodads of their own, and maybe you could make a mining minigame out of that, using the same planting tile system to instead create an automated ore harvesting machine that plumbs the depths of the earth (possibly dealing with rocks of different hardness, the water table, and other challenges along the way).
Fishing is a question of understanding the different fish species, what they eat, where they congregate, and then setting nets or lines, since I have never met a fishing minigame I really enjoyed. Again, there's some idea that the player is gaining information over time, building up a profile of these fish, noticing that some of them go nuts when it rains, understanding the spawning season, that they go to deeper water when it's cold, etc.
Crafting really depends on what you're crafting, but if you're reintroducing traditional artisan processes to this town, then people are going to need tools and machines and things. I'm not sure I know what a proper crafting game looks like. The only experience I have to draw on is wood shop, where I made wooden boxes, cutting boards, and picture frames. Since this is an engineering-lite puzzle-lite game, you could maybe do something in that vein, e.g. defining a number of steps that get you the correct thing you're trying to make, but ... eh. I love the idea of designing a chicken coop, for example, or building a trellis if I want my climbing beans to not need maize, or whatever, but I don't know how you actually implement that. There are definitely voxel-based and snap-to-grid games where you build bases, and I tend to find that fun ... but it's mostly cosmetic, for the obvious reason that doing it any other way than cosmetic requires programmatic evaluation, which is difficult and maybe unintuitive. The closest I think I've seen is ... maybe Tears of the Kingdom? Contraption building? But I don't know how you translate that to a farming game. Maybe I should ask my wife about this, because she's always doing little projects around the house (an outdoor enclosure for our cats, a 3D-printed holder for our living room keyboard, a mounting for our TV).
Making an interesting crafting system is difficult, which is why pretty much no one has done it.
And if I'm talking pie in the sky, without concern for budget or scope, I want the villagers to all have a mammoth amount of writing for them. I want petty little dramas and weird obsessions, lives that evolve with or without my input, rudimentary dialog trees that let me nudge things in different directions. This is just an unbelievable amount of work on its own, it would be crazy, but I would love having a tiny little town game where sometimes other people would fall in love. I would like to be invited to a wedding, maybe one that happened because I encouraged the chemist to hang out with the clothier, and in the course of working together on dyes, they fell in love. With twenty people in town and another ten that come in over the course of the game if you hit the right triggers, I do think this is just a matter of having a ton of time/budget. You write tons and tons of dialogue so there's not much that's repeated, you have some lines of conversation between characters that are progressed through, you have others that trigger off of events, and then you have personal relationships between NPCs that can be progressed through time or with player intervention. Give single characters a pool of love interests, have their affections depend on their routine which depends on what's changed in town ... very difficult to do without spending loads and loads of time on it though.
Anyway, that's one of my dream games. No one is ever going to make it, it would be a niche of a niche, and as scoped here, is too much for a small team to ever actually finish, let alone polish. But it's the sort of thing I'm imagining in my head when I think about playing Stardew Valley and its successors.

An Olive Branch Among Thorns
Okay so more a/b/o König because heck why not. The last one was so angsty that I had to bring these two back together a bit. I mean, I can't have König just hating the reader, right? Nah there's gotta be more. Also, world building!
Story below cut
An Olive Branch Among Thorns
You’d spent the past week in König’s home off base. He came back every night, prepared you a meal, and then retired to his office before heading to bed. At first, you’d considered it rude. Then you considered the fact that he was hiding from you in his own home. With that understanding, you had more sympathy for the alpha as he tried to keep the distance between you.
Tonight, he was cooking something a bit more exciting than usual. It was a simple spaghetti, but it was better than the microwave meals he’d been making for the past few days. It was startling to see him cook, particularly because you’d realized the man was a far better cook than you’d chalked him up to be.
He diced the onions into fine little cubes before dashing them from the cutting board into a frying pan. The sizzles that came forth was ripping hot and bright, the only sound that filled the kitchen aside from the whirring fans of the fumehood.
“Is there anything I can do to help?” you asked once more as you sat across the kitchen island.
König looked up at you. His ice cold eyes washed you over briefly, then trained themselves back on the floor.
“No.”
If you hadn’t been listening, his answer would have been lost among the thuds of the knife coming down on the cutting board.
You hated to watch, but he didn’t dare give you a single job to do. Instead, you hung about like an unwanted phantom, unable to tear yourself away from the only action you’d seen all day. Before König came home, you’d spent the day reading the books that covered the home like wallpaper, but you struggled to find something that kept your interest for longer than half an hour. It all seemed terribly dry.
When König had come home, you’d greeted him as you did every day, and he ignored you as he did every day. It was a painful routine to lose yourself in. You desperately wanted to have any sort of human interaction but he kept you shut in his home, out of sight out of mind. It was a simple way of keeping you, and for understandable reasons. He didn’t want to become attached. You desperately wished he would change his mind.
You watched the large man maneuver his body through the tiny kitchen with startling ease. You wondered how long he’d lived here to know just how to duck his head to avoid slamming it into the cupboards as he stood up. Evidently, long enough to figure out how to tuck his enormous frame under the fumehood.
You saw the pure hatred in his eyes when he turned back to look at you. He hid it behind a mask of concern, but you saw that brief flicker for long enough to know just what you were to him. A pest, if that. You knew he despised the fact that he had to care for you. If he could, he would toss you out by the scruff of your neck, but the SHA kept a strict eye on the status of matched couples. Then again, it wasn’t uncommon for alphas to harm their omegas. You’d heard too many horror stories of alphas losing control and tearing their omegas apart. There was a story on the news every other week about it. When König looked at you, the raw hatred that he exuded was enough to remind you of just what place you held in this world.
He hissed as a splatter of oil spat up onto his hand.
Instinctively, you ducked your head and apologized.
As he ran his hand under cool water, he turned to address you properly for the first time since he brought you home.
“Why are you sorry?” he barked.
You flinched and squeaked out, “I’m supposed to be cooking for you.”
König dried his hand and turned back to the frying pan without another word.
You thought that would be the end of it, but it seemed König had other ideas.
“You’re not expected to do anything for me,” he said quietly, “I’ve lived on my own for long enough.”
You scowled.
“What am I supposed to do then?” you challenged him, more vitriol in your tone than you intended.
You’d hoped he hadn’t noticed for a brief moment. Of course, by the way he set his shoulders back and drew himself up to his full height, you couldn’t be further from the truth.
“You,” he glared at you, “are meant to sit down and be quiet. That’s part of being an omega, ja?”
You grit your teeth, “Part of being an omega is providing for their alpha.”
König’s eyes sharpened as his nostrils flared, “Part of being an omega is listening to what an alpha says.”
“So what am I supposed to do all day?” you challenged him further.
König’s harsh glare softened to a defeated look, “I don’t know.”
You guessed you shouldn’t have expected him to know. So thus, you sat quietly and waited for him to finish making the pasta sauce.
Not much later, König turned back to you with a bowl full of spaghetti. Instead of passing it to you, he walked to the table and set the bowl across the table from him. You looked at him for further instruction, but he said nothing as he began to eat.
You slunk into the other chair and picked up your utensils. You looked between them and König, who was pointedly avoiding looking at you.
“Thank you,” you said quietly before eating.
His acknowledging hum was lost by the taste of the bright tomato sauce on your tongue. Fresh herbs entangled with the savory taste of meat as you took in another mouthful. For someone who only cooked microwave meals, you were surprised to find yourself enjoying the fresh meal.
“You like it?”
You looked up at König, who was watching you intently. You didn’t know if you preferred his absence or his intense interest.
“It’s great,” you said quietly before taking another mouthful.
“Gut,” König nodded and turned back to his meal.
You waited a bit before you decided to try and break the silence.
“Was work okay today?” you asked quietly, afraid of your own voice.
König didn’t reply and for a moment, you thought that maybe he hadn’t heard you.
After a brief pause, König cleared his throat, “It was. Was your day okay?”
You put your fork down briefly.
“There wasn’t much to do,” you admitted.
König nodded carefully. He drummed his fingers on the table before he looked back up at you, “It must be lonely here.”
You nodded timidly.
“I see…” König finished off his bowl. He stepped to the kitchen, piled more into his bowl and then sat down with a groan that was echoed by the chair.
“It’s not a big problem,” you tried to say but König waved you off.
“No, it is. You’re in my home now, so I’m responsible for you,” König grumbled as he took another mouthful, “I will give you a phone.”
A phone?
“You’re giving me a phone?” you looked at him strangely, “but aren’t omegas not supposed to own phones?”
König glared into his bowl, “Those rules are meaningless.”
“But what about the SHA?” you asked.
“There’s no laws barring omegas from having their own devices,” König grumbled, “that’s just a myth.”
You looked down at your hands. All this time you were allowed to have your own phone? Your father had strict control over your phone and laptop before you were taken into the SHA program. You’d never had unrestricted access. The thought boggled your mind.
“I can get you one tomorrow,” König promised, “and when I come home I’ll show you some forums where you can talk to others.”
“Other omegas?” you asked hopefully.
“If you’d like,” König offered, “or there’s mixed boards where you aren’t bound to messaging within your own class.”
“That exists?” your world was steadily falling apart at the seams.
König’s eyes widened, almost as though he was shocked or frightened by what was only obvious to you.
“You never knew of those?” König asked incredulously.
“My father never showed me those,” you told him.
“Your father controlled your access to the internet?” König scowled.
“Yeah? Every omega I’ve met uses restricted access devices,” you looked at him as though he’d just grown a second head.
“That’s…” König shook his head, “that’s not right. Look,” he lightly hit the table with his fist, “under this roof, you’re free to do as you please. It’s not my job to control you.”
“But you’re my partner,” you immediately winced.
“I’m not your mate,” König sighed. He tapped his spoon on the table once, twice, then took a deep breath before saying, “I’m sorry you’re stuck with me. I never wanted a mate. It’s too… It’s risky, in this line of work.”
“How come?” you asked.
“Because you could lose me the next time I go overseas,” König explained, “I’m a soldier. I won’t stay here forever. When you lose me, you’ll be matched to another alpha-”
“Or a beta!” you interjected hopefully.
König’s eyebrows knit together.
“You don’t know much about the matching program, do you,” König stated flatly.
“I know enough,” you took a sip of water.
“Well, since you’re an omega O, you’re not likely to get matched with a beta,” König’s lips formed into a line, further exacerbated by a scar that ran back from the left corner of his mouth.
“But my mother was matched with a beta,” you refuted him easily.
“Was your mother and omega O?”
You crumpled into yourself.
“She was an omega A.”
König pointed his fork at you, “Exactly. Omega Os are matched with alphas almost exclusively. So after me, you’ll probably get another alpha. If you’re unlucky, an alpha A, like me.”
You shuddered.
König watched you carefully before turning back to his food.
“So I’m right,” he muttered, “you are scared of me.”
“I’m not scared of you,” you retorted, “I just… I don’t know what other alphas are like.”
König frowned as he glanced up at you briefly, “You don’t know?”
“Not really,” you admitted, “I was in an omega only school growing up.”
König’s face fell, “So you have no idea what we’re like.”
You shook your head.
“Well,” König swirled his fork in his pasta, “we’re bigger. Stronger. You know all that though, everyone does.”
“You’re the biggest person I’ve ever met,” you admitted.
König snorted and shook his head, “I get that a lot,” he chewed carefully before swallowing heavily, “anyways, alphas are known to be aggressive, impulsive. Very…” he searched for a word, “primal. Back in ancient times, we were the ones to control territory and protect our people. Nowadays, we’re too head-strong for the modern world. So they use our bodies for labor, and we’re left to deal with these urges ourselves.”
“I know that stuff,” you tried to hide the tremor in your voice, “I watch the news.”
“What, with alphas tearing apart their partners?” König snorted, “half of those aren’t even real. It’s just a media stunt to turn the public against alphas. The same thing happens to omegas too. You’re made out to be weak nymphomaniacs. You see that too, right?”
You nodded.
“Most alphas will never hurt their partners,” König insisted, “ever. We don’t do that. We’re human beings, not monsters.”
“So you won’t hurt me?” you asked hopefully.
“Never,” König determined, “I would never hurt anyone I don’t have to. You, as my legal partner, will never be hurt by me.”
You nodded along. He’d never hurt you, but he’d never hold you close enough to hurt you either. You tried not to let it hurt you, you’d cried for days over your situation, and yet still it stung to hear ‘my legal partner’ instead of ‘my partner’.
You set your spoon down in your bowl with a final clank.
“I guess I’ll speak to you tomorrow?” you asked solemnly.
König looked down at your bowl and then back up at you.
“If you ever need me,” König traced the rim of his wine glass with a finger, “I’m usually in my office when I’m home,” he looked up at you with a heavy stare, “you don’t have to be afraid of me.”
You tore yourself away from his stare to go and clean your bowl. As you walked out of the room, you could feel his stare still lingering on you until you made your way into your bedroom.

a/n: a continuation of how the little d's act when you're dating the avatars of sin.
➤ how the little d's act when you're dating barbatos | headcanons
0.7k words | sfw (mostly) | fluff (mostly)
cw: other characters briefly mentioned throughout. jealousy mentioned in no. 3 and no. 7's section. brief mention of violence/pest control in no. 4's section. mildly suggestive content in no. 5's section. no. 7 is a little sketchy and manipulative. tl;dr: canon-typical demon behaviour in smaller packaging.
Tumblr media
Little D No. 1 (Pride)
He’s even more attentive and hard-working now because he has three masters he wants to impress: Diavolo, Barbatos, and you.
He loves it when you compliment how nice the castle looks or how wonderful the parties are.
He has less patience for the other lesser demons that like to goof around and not take their work seriously.
He thinks of you as his special human friend. He never had much patience for humans before he met you. If only Solomon could be as nice and helpful as you are!
Tumblr media
Little D No. 2 (Greed)
He tries to sneak away from doing his chores so he can spend time with you instead.
He loves it when you give him little presents or hugs, but he’s greedy for your company too. He would follow you everywhere if he could.
He offers Barbatos advice on which gifts to buy for you, even when the butler doesn’t ask for his help.
If you give Barbatos gifts, No. 2 tries to steal them for himself.
Tumblr media
Little D No. 3 (Envy)
He doesn't have to do as many chores as the other lesser demons. Barbatos trusts him to protect you while he keeps you company. (He can be very dangerous if he thinks something or someone is hurting you or poses a threat to your safety.)
He complains when you don’t visit the castle often enough, or that you spend too much time with the other demons.
Sometimes he even gets jealous of Barbatos. He whines or sulks when he gets shooed away to give you some privacy.
Tumblr media
Little D No. 4 (Wrath)
He’s more vigilant about guests who visit the castle. He doesn't trust strangers either. He worries about your safety.
He gets very upset if he overhears other demons speaking about you with anything less than glowing praise or admiration. How dare they—!
The number of incidents involving him attacking other demons goes up because he has too much pent up frustration and anger and nowhere to channel it.
Barbatos lets him take a break from usual chores when he gets too agitated. If he’s not helping protect you, No. 4 goes hunting in the castle for rats. (He tried leaving you gifts outside your door to prove how strong he is, but he stopped when he realized it upset you.)
Tumblr media
Little D No. 5 (Lust)
He grows a bit bigger and stronger because the love and desire between you and his master is so strong. He naturally feeds off those feelings, and they're delicious.
He tries to help you get dressed or keep you company when you have a bath or shower, but he respects your boundaries when you ask him not to. (He can’t help it, you’re just so cute and he loves spending time with you!)
He shares a feedback loop with Asmodeus, but he promises Barbatos that he won’t ever tell the Avatar of Lust any intimate details about the things he hears or sees.
It doesn’t really make a difference though—No. 5 and Asmo are both brimming with energy on days when you and Barbatos are particularly indulgent in each other's company.
Tumblr media
Little D No. 6 (Gluttony)
He knows your favourite foods and likes to help Barbatos cook them for you.
He also likes to accompany Barbatos when he goes shopping so he can help pick out the best ingredients. It’s what you deserve!
Sometimes you offer him food and he feels bad accepting it. It’s the most wonderful gift anyone could give him. You’re too thoughtful and he adores you.
He bites anyone who tries to steal food off your plate because it’s rude and he doesn’t want you to go hungry.
He also attacks Solomon if he catches the sorcerer trying to enter the kitchen or tamper with the food in any way.
Tumblr media
Little D No. 7 (Sloth)
He complains about being too tired so he can avoid doing chores and spend time with you instead.
He gossips about the angels and human sorcerer (and let's be honest, the other demons too) to make them look bad.
He gets very sulky when he’s not allowed to sleep in the same room as you (usually because you’re with Barbatos in his room).
He likes it when you have good dreams. He can feel a sense of calm and happiness radiating from you the next day.
He visits you the mornings after you have bad dreams to make sure you’re okay. (Maybe if he’d been there, he could’ve eaten them for you!)

Effective pest control Point Cook requires both expertise and vigilance, helping you prevent and manage infestations while protecting your property and health.
Why Pest Control is Essential for Point Cook Residents
DIY pest control methods can be effective for minor issues, but they often don’t offer a lasting solution, leaving room for pests to return. Professional pest control Point Cook provide a more comprehensive approach, equipped with advanced tools and techniques to eliminate pests at their source. Here’s why choosing expert pest control is critical:
Health Protection: Pests are carriers of bacteria and allergens, posing risks to family members, especially children and pets. Professional pest control reduces these health hazards.
Property Preservation: Pests like termites and rodents can cause extensive damage to a home’s structure, wiring, and insulation. Preventing infestations helps maintain property value and safety.
Sustainable Solutions: Experts provide eco-friendly, tailored solutions that not only eliminate pests but also prevent future infestations.
Common Pests in Point Cook and Their Risks
Termites: Known as “silent destroyers,” termites cause millions in damage each year. They are a serious concern in Point Cook due to the area’s natural wood-rich environment, making regular inspections crucial.
Ants: Garden ants and other ant species are common in Point Cook. While they may seem harmless, they can quickly invade kitchens and food storage areas, creating a nuisance that’s difficult to eliminate without professional help.
Rodents: Mice and rats cause substantial damage by gnawing on wiring, insulation, and household structures. Additionally, they can spread diseases, making them a top priority for pest control in Point Cook.
Cockroaches: Resilient and fast-breeding, cockroaches are a health hazard due to the bacteria and allergens they carry. Professional treatments ensure thorough elimination and prevent future re-infestations.
Spiders: Point Cook is home to a variety of spider species, some of which are venomous. Professional control offers safe removal and minimizes the risk of spider bites.
Key Pest Control Methods Used in Point Cook
For effective pest control in Point Cook, experts deploy various strategies depending on the pest type and severity of the infestation:
Chemical Treatments: Safe, targeted chemical applications are effective for pests like termites and ants. Professionals ensure that treatments are carefully applied to avoid health risks.
Heat Treatments: Ideal for sensitive pests like bed bugs, heat treatments raise the temperature in affected areas to eliminate pests without chemicals.
Biological Control: Using natural predators or eco-friendly agents to reduce pest populations, this method is particularly effective in gardens and outdoor areas.
Physical Barriers and Sealing: Preventing entry is key to effective pest control. Pest control experts use sealing techniques to block potential entry points, protecting homes from recurring infestations.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM): This eco-friendly, multi-method approach combines habitat modification, biological agents, and limited pesticide use for a balanced, long-term solution.
Seasonal Pest Patterns in Point Cook
Different pests are more active during specific seasons, and understanding these patterns can help in scheduling preventive treatments:
Spring: Warmer weather awakens termites and ants, making it the ideal season for termite inspections and ant prevention measures.
Summer: The hot, dry season increases the presence of cockroaches, spiders, and rodents as they seek cool, indoor spaces. It’s essential to seal entry points and schedule routine treatments.
Autumn: As the weather cools, rodents start to move indoors. Regular inspections during this season can help prevent them from nesting inside your home.
Winter: Rodent activity peaks as they look for warmth, while cockroaches and spiders remain active in heated areas. Winter is the perfect time for sealing and monitoring pest activity.
Tips for Maintaining a Pest-Free Home Year-Round
In addition to professional services, these preventive steps can help protect your Point Cook home from infestations:
Seal Entry Points: Inspect and repair cracks, gaps, or holes around doors, windows, and foundations. Small gaps can easily become entryways for ants, rodents, and spiders.
Practice Good Sanitation: Keep food stored in airtight containers, clean spills immediately, and empty trash regularly. A clean home is far less attractive to pests.
Manage Moisture: Leaks and standing water attract pests like termites and cockroaches. Fix plumbing issues promptly and remove water build-up outside the home.
Outdoor Maintenance: Trim back plants and remove excess foliage near the house, as overgrown vegetation creates shelter for pests. Storing wood piles away from the home also deters termites.
Regular Inspections: Scheduling inspections with pest control professionals is an investment in long-term protection. Catching potential problems early saves both time and cost on extensive treatments later.
Eco-Friendly Pest Control Options in Point Cook
Many residents today prefer environmentally responsible pest control options, and many Point Cook providers now offer these solutions:
Non-Toxic Treatments: Botanical oils, organic sprays, and biodegradable products offer safer alternatives to traditional chemicals.
Mechanical Traps: Traps are a humane and effective solution for rodents, providing an alternative to poisons.
Habitat Modification: Professionals can suggest landscaping changes to naturally reduce pest-friendly environments, such as removing standing water sources or dense vegetation.
Biodegradable Treatments: These treatments break down quickly and minimize environmental impact, making them ideal for areas around children and pets.
Choosing the Right Pest Control Service in Point Cook
When selecting a pest control provider, look for the following qualities:
Local Knowledge: Providers familiar with Point Cook’s pest issues can offer more effective and targeted treatments.

TFO Actor AU Episode Three
Hobbies
Orion Pax: My hobbies? Well, I'm actually a lot like my character, a huge history nerd. Going to libraries and museums, checking out monuments and memorials... And I may or may not have snuck into places I shouldn't have to get more info...
D-16: Yeah. And just like in the movie, I get you out of trouble.
Orion Pax: I really do owe you... anyways, I also like cooking! Not sweets though, literally anything other than sweets. Not that I don't like sweets, just...
D-16: Any sweets he makes taste like dirt. He tried making cupcakes and almost burned down the kitchen.
Orion Pax: My fiancé won't even allow me to attempt to make sweets.
D-16: No need to talk about me like I'm not right here.
Orion Pax: I know... just wanted an excuse to remind people we're engaged... oh! I also like soccer. Though, sometimes I kick too hard. Like the time I nailed Elita in the face with the ball... didn't end well.
D-16, snickering: Didn't she break your arm?
Orion Pax: She broke my arm, yes.
D-16: Anyways... my hobbies now. I'm a collector of merch... specifically Megatronus merch. Yes, I am still a Megatronus fan in real life. I have a whole spare room for the stuff...
Orion Pax: You're such a dork!
D-16: Takes one to know one.
Orion Pax: Got me there.
The two giggle before D continues
D-16: I also make sweets. I'm the opposite of Orion, sweets are all I can make. Yet, ironically, I'm not much of a sweets person. So usually I just make it for others.
Orion Pax: We really are meant for each other...
D-16: Let's not get too sappy on camera, babe... lastly, and you're not gonna believe this... meditation. I meditate.
Orion Pax: He meditates.
D-16: I can absolutely be an aggressive person at times. So Alpha Trion suggested meditating to calm down. It actually does help, so I do it when angry or stressed or upset... you get the gist.
Orion yawns and leans on D, head on his shoulder.
D-16, chuckling: Looks like it's time to get some rest.
Orion Pax: Noooooo...
D-16: We can cuddle while we curl up together~
Orion Pax: ...fiiiiiine.
D and Orion start walking out. Orion ends up nearly falling over in his tiredness, so D scoops him up to carry him home.
---
Elita-1: My hobbies? I've got a few... gymnastics being one of them. I'm pretty agile, so it's right up my alley, you know?
B-127: I've seen her do some crazy scrap in gymnastics.
Elita-1: Oh yeah. But that stuff is super advanced takes ages of practice.
B-127: How long have you been doing it?
Elita-1: I've lost track... anyways, I also do boxing.
B-127: Anyone could have guessed that one, considering how often she punches people. Good sport for her, huh?
Elita-1: Oh, shut up, you little yellow pest.
B-127: Rude... but yeah, she is good at it, I go to all her matches to show my support, just like how I go to Orion's soccer games to cheer him on and D's conventions to help him carry stuff!
Elita-1: You are still a little pest at times... but you know we appreciate that, we appreciate your support. You're a good friend, B...
Elita pats B and B giggles.
B-127: Awwww, you do like me!!
Elita-1: Shut up before I take it back... anyways, I can't really think of any more off the top of my head... you can go, B.
B-127: Ooooh, okay, my turn! First off, I'm a huge techie! I love working with technology, be it repairing things, building my own inventions, stuff like that!
Elita-1: We rely on him to repair our scrap so much... but he always yaps our audials off as he repairs things.
B-127, giggling: I do talk a lot, huh? Anyways, this isn't limited to regular tech stuff, either. I also love building things in general with whatever I can get my hands on. One of the rooms in my house is an entire advanced Lego city, complete with working stoplights and a remote control train.
Elita-1: Seriously? How long did that take?
B-127: Dunno... anyways, lastly, I like drawing! Mainly just little doodles, nothing much.
Elita-1: You probably draw like a sparkling.
B-127: Hey!
