“What are you, a Kent?” 

It’s a saying in the world of the supernatural. A well-known one even. See, several, many generations back, no one quite knows when, the Kent family managed to run afoul of a particularly nasty creature who laid a curse upon them. The original wording, no one quite knows either, but the gist, everyone is aware of. For no firstborns will be born to them before they already have one. 

It was supposed to be airtight in a way, a curse that would end the entire bloodline really. For a child to exist before they could have a child? How could that be? 

Well. That curse had… backfired. It had backfired massively. Most, at least back when blood was everything, didn’t exactly ponder things like adoption to those outside of their own bloodline. The Kents however, lived in a very simple village, one that had disease spread through it often back then, leaving families childless and children parentless. 

What were they to do but take them in? And so they had a son, many sons and daughters even, before their firstborn. Now of course, most would simply dismiss it afterwards. After all, that was the end of the story, isn’t it? 

Well, no. See, the curse was a family-line curse, a just in case perhaps, that meant that each generation could not have any children until they had children. Perhaps it should have ended there, but well. It didn’t. 

Kents are a strange breed in the world of the supernatural, known for having a… bit of an adoption problem. If any child or babe were to be left near their land, one can be assured the family line would take them in as their own. 

Fae, demon, human, changeling, satyr, cyclops, half-breeds, werewolf- it didn’t matter. A Kent would gladly pick the child up and raise it as their own. And now, they could add aliens to that long, long list in the family line. 

And really, perhaps with this context, is it really surprising that when one Clark Kent, said alien, opens his door to a basket on his doorstep holding a trio of godlings, he takes them in with no questions asked?

I don’t know who i want reader to date so i’m exploring all three options

TUCKER

* despite what everyone believe, Sam wasn’t reader first kiss. It was Tucker. the two wanted to try it out after watching a movie with Jazz.

* Tucker alway had a crush on reader, he couldn’t help it, Reader is one of the only person who can understand him.

* Tucker and Reader had kissed multiple times. they share kisses at sleepovers. It never went beyond that and neither mention it. To them, it was a good night routine

* Tucker alway buy games for readers, he alway make sure to get the best tech for them and love gaming with them

* Reader wear his hoodies quite a lot. Tucker alway complain but he alway leave them behind or stuff one in your night pack.

* Jazz once gives you two a whole talk about consent after she catch you two kissing.

* Tucker is the first person reader went to after dying and the first person to find out about being a ghost

SAM

* Reader alway had a crush on Sam. It was hard not to. Sam was amazing, strong willed and was a total badass in reader eyes

* Sam isn’t a romantic person, or someone who enjoy being touch that much. But she doesn’t mind it when you give her touches.

* Reader often collapse on Sam lap and whine about their day. Sam would listen and play with their hair.

* Reader try out Sam diet for a week and didn’t really mind it. Sam love dragging reader to new restaurants to try out dishes or try out new recipes.

* Sam was the second person to find out about the whole undead thing. Tucker called her crying about reader showing up looking like a mess.

* Sam is quite overprotective of reader, especially after the dying thing before she realize what reader is capable of

* Reader didn’t believe in ghost before dying while Sam did.

* Sam dye her hair black and Reader often help, Reader also cut her hair for her sometimes.

* Reader often give sam kisses on the cheek, Reader is big on touch. Sam will often kiss reader cheek or hold their hand.

* Sam parents hate Reader. Reader hate them.

* Reader is the only person who can convince sam to wear anything other than black. Reader will never.

CONNOR

* Connor meet reader as Superboy, Stepping in to stop Reader from being robbed then proceed to walk them home. he was quite shock when he find out reader was a wayne’s child.

* Connor also met phantom. the ghost saving them from shulker.

* The two grow close quickly and often hang out together while possible.

* Tim wasn’t happy when Connor show up to hang out with reader but Connor didn’t care

* Connor and reader love playing video games together..

* Connor ADORES flirting with reader, alway trying to get their attention. reader does get embarrassed but love the attention.

* Connor and Tucker get along very well. Sam wasn’t that trusting of Connor but grew to like them after a while.

* Connor got invited to sleepover with them.

* after he seen them kissing tucker, he instantly asked for one as well. that cause Tucker to hit him with a pillow. it he got one!

* After the first sleepover. Connor keep stealing kisses from reader, alway making up lies

* Connor got into anime because of reader

* Connor once brought back a meteorite piece from space for reader.

* Reader often babbled to Connor about space and ghosts.

* Connor and Reader love sparing together.

* Connor try to get reader to join young justice as phantom. ( Reader alway denied )

Random PJO secondary characters headcanon

This is kinda long and I still have more, so don't say I didn't warn you

Ellis Wakefield and Mitchell are close friends, and no one knows exactly how it happened because they are so different that it's a shock to see them so casually together. Ellis once lost a bet and had to let Mitchell do eyeliner on him, the entire camp was obsessed with how good he looked.

Malcolm and Connor are both really smart, in differents ways. Malcolm can quote entire books and the periodic table off the top of his head, Connor knows different languages, forms of trade and knows many places. But they are the dumb x dumber couple when they're together

Damien is everywhere, somehow this boy is friend with almost everyone in the CHB. He is friends with Nico, Lou Ellen, Cecil and Will and they sometimes hang out together. Mitchell, Ellis and Clovis always call him out for whatever nonsense they are doing. He gets along very well with most of the Seven. Malcolm always goes to him for an opinion. Something about him being the son of the goddess of balance and justice really makes his presence kind of cool even when he in his silly day. He and Chiara are dating for almost one year before telling the others, no one is surprised

Jake Manson was Will first crush in the camp. He was also very close to Michael and had a crush on him. After the accident, he was paralyzed in half his body and the camp adapted several ramps for him to move with the wheelchair. His brothers created a mechanical endoskeleton that allows him to stand on his own, but sometimes it gets tired so they need to be careful with him. Jake hates how fragile he feels now, but he's learning to get back on track in his own way.

Clovis is so good at lying, he confuses even people who know the truth. Hypnos' children are very close to their father because Hyp visits them a lot in dreams. Clovis has the power to control dreams, which makes him a valuable ally in battle and on several occasions he has managed to confuse enemies, check plans and pass information to allies through dreams. He is also very gossipy and Mitchell knows all the things at camp because of Clovis. Are you having insomnia? Cabin 15 always has its doors open for any demigod.

Paolo is brazilian and he introduced a lot of brazilian culture to the camp. In June and July, we have a party in Brazil called "festa junina/julina" and Paolo made a point of presenting this to the camp, with various typical foods and colorful little flags around the camp, and brazilian songs around the camp fire. This became something so cool and the party was a sucess, especially for the younger ones, so Quiron started holding cultural parties at the camp so campers from different countries could express their culture.

Iris' cabin is ironically preferable to neutral colors and her children tend to be mistaken for Ares' children. They are well used to dark colors, as well as being on the battlefield, but they are super attentive to their mother and defend Iris whenever necessary. They also don't need to pay to use Iris's message because she has favorites and always expresses how much she loves her children.

The children of Venus, from the roman camp, took a while to get used to the children of Aphrodite. In the events with the two camps, they slowly became attached to their half siblings. The children of Venus taught many fighting techniques, and the children of Aphrodite reminded them how beauty is not fragility.

Got a little brain worm on the way home and have a need to write it down. Just a drabble because I'm not good at writing.

DC x DP Just a (clone) couple

Joung Adult!Team Phantom for some reason end up in the DC universe. For reasons, there aren't any equivalents of them here. Danny and Sam are together and Danny and Dani have a familiar relationship. Whatever the reasons they stay in this universe.

So Sam, Danny and Dani start making a life together as a family, Tucker goes on to make a "small business" involving VPN's and tech in general (finds an anthropomorphic girlfriend on the way or something), Jazz goes to uni (JL members city of choice, although I advise against Gotham or Metropolis, because that would make this too short).

For some MORE reasons unknown, although they might be by the making of our favourite clock-man, the DP people's DNA has by default markings of being clones in DC (I don't know if this is canon or fanon but Connor had something like that ╮⁠(⁠＾���▽⁠＾⁠)⁠╭). The thing is here Jack = Bruce, Maddy = Alexander and Jeremy = Clark, Pamela = Lois! Do you see my vision here??

So *JL member from the perspective city* meets the Fenton/Manson/Nightingale?? family accidentally when they are visiting Jazz, and has a sweet deja vu moment. Some time passes and the off handedly mention it to someone in the JL.

Batman being the paranoid bastard that he is goes on to check this thing out, because he can smell the fish from a mile away. Thinks the couple are clones, gets very paranoid again and starts making plans, plans get found by his kids, kids tell the JL and friends. So starts the collective discussions of what should they do, some say that they should get rid of the clones, some others that they don't have proof for anything nefarious and shouldn't do anything at all, someone points out that they have literally showed up out of nowhere and that it is reasonable to be suspicious. And Connor is also there.

Meanwhile Team Phantom is going about their lives like normal, but with a "I know that you know" mindset, and don't really bother with hiding themselves.

In my opinion the part that has to be the most glaringly noticeable about them should be that Danny (Batman's clone apparently) should wear a lot of flannel and have a "Midwestern Nice" personality" (the stuff of legends I have only heard about in passing) and over all should resemble Clark in fashion sense. For Sam (Superman's clone apparently) the exact opposite - she can put the GOTH in Gotham.

And all JL angst/drama/confusion happens in the background as we follow Connor Kent's/Superboy's POV and him dealing with having two half siblings and the half siblings being together and them having a child and this is too much for him oooooooooo noooooooo nononoonononoonononononno what in the sweeet home Alabama whhhhhyyyyyyyy!??!

So it's like a metronome tick's between the POVs of fluffy new life/potential threat to the JL I mean the child of Bruce/Lex and child Clark/Luis having potential super-smart, super-powered (potentially evil??) children. But overall it's crack.

Maybe I'll plan it out and actually try to write it, but meanwhile you can enjoy my half-ill/fever induced brain worms and play in the brown dirt puddle I call my creative thinking.

YALL DANNY ADOPTING SUPERBOY

He would, like the moment he finds out conner is a clone that is being treated unfairly he would IMMEDIATELY clock superman and keep Connor. Which begs the question would he get into a custody battle with Luther? I feel like danny could tell the internet that conner is Luther's and superman's kid instead of his clone and let that sort itself out. Like seen in another post I saw on Pinterest that definitely came from tumbler Luther would be spending the entire time trying to tell the internet that he didn't sleep with superman but instead cloned him. Do the people listen. No. Does his PR team lock themselves into a room refusing to interact. Yes. Connor becomes a nightingale and befriends Dani. The batfam and the flashfam( who danny is staying with) fonds out and adds fuel to the fire. Superman tries to redeem himself for his treatment of Connor and acts like Luther was his ex. Does the people of metropolis know he's lying. Yes. Does Gotham, central city, and Amity Park know. Yes. Will they call him out. No. luthors reaction is too good.

Danny can shape-shift Danny proceeds to tell everyone that he's Connors mother and says that his kind matures faster than most, which is why connor is a few years younger than him. ( I'm picturing Danny is like idk in his 20s during this time) and lex now has to deny this claim and get the public to stop assuming that he cheated on supes during their incredibly false dating. And took connor from Danny. Danny never actually said HOW connor was a nightingale. So when luthor vehemently denies it, Danny shifts his body into a gender bent version of Fenton and tells him to pay child support.

The internet goes wild.

Conner gets in trouble with a villain, and he's about to call for help . Everyone assumes he's going to call one of his dad's or his teammates, but instead, he just blurts out " MOMMM" The electronics in the surrounding area glitches, the air gets colder, people get shivers down their spine, and they see a white haired figure with toxic green eyes in every reflection. Danny steps out of one that's behind Connor and cracks his knuckles.

Everyone is shocked because they expected a women to step out. Not a muscular alt/ punk ghost man.

Danny then proceeds to beat the villains butt and states that Noone messes with his kids. He tells connor to be home for dinner, gives him a lunch, and disappears

Lex is being annoying and is threatening the nightingales unless Danny tells everyone he lied.

The public rips lex a new one. He stops threatening the nightingales. This scandal has gone on for too long and is tarnishing his reputation.

Danny adopts superboy Part 2. He takes Connor to the nightingale Manson and calls one of his cousins to help him figure out how to raise him. He ends up somehow getting the entire YJ in his home with his other children because they don't trust him and, prior to the court case, no one knew how strong danny actually was and JLD was being very unhelpful in bats investigation on the nightingales. Also, I found the og post on Pinterest but couldn't find it on the two accounts that made it

During the trial for custody of konnor. It's Superman vs. lex lex's lawyers call danny because he's his emergency contact and immediately socks Superman grabs conner and claims custody of him
