i do think ethan is a very no frills person and would hate anything that's inconvenient (overly voluminous/fluffy hair) or would get in the way during fighting (long hair -> free weapon for your opponent) so the longest he'd let his hair grow would be at the base of the neck and even that's mostly because he cant be assed to have a haircut every three weeks LMFAO it's the same reason why pretty much the only outfit i ever put him in is that fuckass dark grey shirt <3

@bvckbiter 's lukethan doodles has put kronos/luke/ethan on my brain so now I'm stuck thinking about that

Lukethan have the dynamic of Ethan being a former camper in cabin 11 who joined Luke in his rebellion (and seemed to believe that Luke was still fighting Kronos' possession in tlo) and became a soldier fighting under Luke.

Lukronos has that toxic yaoi of Kronos being a guiding hand and corrupting influence on Luke until he was all that Luke had left to the point that he took over Luke('s body) and the forced intimacy of Kronos being inside of Luke's head.

but I also love the idea of Luke having this affection for Ethan that, because Kronos is in his head, Kronos picks up on, and Kronos doesn't really care for mortals but as the lines between him and Luke start blurring, the distinction between Luke's desires and Kronos' also starts getting weird. Kronos' feelings towards Ethan aren't quite the same as the affection that Luke feels, instead he is just strangely fascinated with Ethan as a person because of what his proximity does to Luke (and Kronos, by extension) and Ethan mostly ends up being kept so close to Kronos so that he can indulge this fascination (and because this mortal vessel gives him an annoying compulsion to keep that boy around).

And Ethan is not having a great time. He knows that the person he's talking to isn't Luke. Kronos doesn't treat him like Luke did, he doesn't talk like Luke or act like Luke or do anything the way that Luke used to. But every now and then he catches a glimpse of Luke peeking through, whether it's the odd word in a voice that sounds more like Luke than Kronos, or Luke's arm catching him when Ethan trips. And, while the person behind the eyes isn't Luke, the body is. Whenever Ethan looks at him, he doesn't know if he's looking at the immortal titan lord or the boy he loves. Sometimes, when Kronos is just sitting down or looking at papers, Ethan can sometimes trick himself into thinking it's just Luke, so when Kronos wants to indulge his fascination by calling Ethan over, Ethan just lets him.

And maybe part of Kronos, knowing that Luke is still a conscious presence in their shared body and is trying to fight Kronos' control, is spending so much time with Ethan as a way to toy with and punish Luke. He knows how dangerous he could be to Ethan, and he knows that Luke is keenly aware of this, so he enjoys calling Ethan over and making vague threats disguised as conversation just to make Luke squirm, while Ethan sees through to all of these threats and doesn't know if Luke's hold over his body is strong enough to protect Ethan should Kronos ever chose to act on any of these threats.

But Kronos would never act on them, not without just cause. He has too much fun playing with these two, and that unconscious part of his brain that was probably borrowed from Luke would never let him do any harm to Ethan. At least not permanent harm.

"Do you always have to be so pragmatic?" Alabaster heaves.

"I'm not saying that I relish their deaths. There's a reason why I remember the number, and every single one of their names and faces." A trembling smile spreads on Ethan's lips. "But it's nothing that I don't expect of myself, too."

With the tidal wave of grief and the combined six hours of sleep he'd managed over the past three days, every remaining neuron in Alabaster's brain is struggling to keep firing. Too many emotions and arguments and apologies fighting its way out of his body.

It's infinitely easier to sink back into Ethan's embrace.

"I hate you," Alabaster mumbles.

"You like that I give zero fucks about openly disagreeing with you. I mean, you said so yourself when you very dramatically made your feelings for me known." Soft snickers escape them both, before Ethan's tone turns somber again. "Changed your mind?"

this is based off an idea i had of ethan and al having kind of opposite trajectories wrt their loyalties to kronos. ethan is under no illusion that hes being a hero and this will be a bloodless fight, only turned by the excessiveness and aimlessness of kronos' violence; meanwhile al genuinely wants to be the good guy and struggles with making sacrifices even if it's for what he perceives as a good cause - right up until he's lost too much and he gets hits with the worst case of sunken cost fallacy known to man

ethan is a tad manipulative here, which is something i don't think i see that often in fanworks, but i just think that with al being Delusional™️, ethan is also kind of the og Delusional™️ even if it's to a lesser degree, so it's fun to kind of sprinkle in how one influenced the other... al had to learn his shit somewhere.

lowkey I put gift giving because too many people were getting acts of service. but genuinely I think leo would love making little trinkets and machines and giving them to his partner. he’s not great at being vulnerable with words or touch, so he shows his love through little actions. similarly, acts of service is also definitely a love language of his; think of everything he did to help calypso after all, even though I hate that ship.

nico’s not a talker, he’d much rather listen or sit in silence with his partner. spending a lot of time with his partner would let nico feel closer to them. there’s a special sort of connection and understanding that comes from shared experiences. acts of service was also another contender. nico would do everything for those he loves. take bianca, for example, and how hard nico tried to bring her back in battle of the labyrinth.

I don’t know why so many characters have acts of service as a giving love language. maybe it’s because they’re heroes and fight and do stuff for their respective causes, so naturally they give off a giving or take-action vibe? but anyway, ethan fought and gave his life in order to gain his mother--and himself, honestly--more recognition. he takes action for those he cares about and always wants to defend his beliefs and help his friends, even though his ways may be a little questionable.

Ive been noticing a rapid normalization of very much illegal ships, especially ones including Nico Di Angelo.

The first point I want to bring up, YOU SHOULD NOT BE SHIPPING ANY OF THE CHARACTERS WHO ARE MINORS WITH THE GODS‼️‼️‼️ Ships like Nico x Cupid, Nico x Zephyrus, Nico x Poseidon, Nico x Triton, Perpollo, Percy x Triton, ect., These are all disgusting ships, and Apollo said himself in the books that the gods do not date minors.

Secondly, ships like Percico (14-15 x 17-18 IS WEIRD AS MINORS), Lukercy (12-16 x 20 something) Lukico, Lukethan, and many other ships like that ARE WEIRD AND GLORIFY PREDATORY BEHAVIOUR‼️‼️ Percico is a hot topic in this fandom, but as of tsats, a canon book wither you like it or not, Nico is assumed to be at least 15, landing Percy at 18 and in college presumably, making shipping it weird. An argument I often see for both Percico and Lukercy is “Well Percy/Nico had a crush on Luke/Percy” and I would like to remind you that one sided crushes do exist. Percy was 12 when he met Luke, and Nico was 10 when he met Percy, those feelings would never of been reciprocated because thats weird.

This is getting out of hand, at this point it’s getting almost as bad as a 2020 anime fandom, this behaviour anf glorification of toxic relationships, pedophilia, and at times even incest needs to stop. Using your fucking brains you weirdos.
