Not to get abnormal about the traitor trio again but one of my favourite headcanons for their dynamic is the idea of each of them being more connected to past, present or future.

Hecate is very connected to the past. She always has one foot in it, in her own griefs that don’t ever leave her. She is the goddess of crossroads but she is constantly looking back at the path she came from. The past is so intwined in her very being and I think it’s part of the reason she’s working with the ta; she wants back a past that was taken. She wants respect not because she never had it but because she used to have it and can feel the absence of it.

Morpheus is the only one of them really living in the present. At any point there is always a person dreaming, so he is always present somewhere. He’s working towards a goal, yes, but he’s really the one who isn’t that obsessed with it compared to the other two. He’s living in the present, he is enjoying his time and he’s making only small changes to the path of fate. In turn, this does make him the one most frustrated by the current lack of respect for the minor gods. He isn’t working towards a future or reclaiming a past, he is trying to change the present.

Nemesis is always looking to the future. She is ambitious and always looking down paths to get what she wants. Everything she does is to reach a future she wants and when she’s done she moves onto something else. She doesn’t care about sacrificing things or people because that is what the future needs. You need to let the past die to reach the future. Whether it’s a person, an eye, a child, a friend, it doesn’t matter because it’s all just means to an end. The past is with her, she’s the goddess of vengeance after all, but it is only a fuel to her goal and she doesn’t stay in it.

i think there is something so interesting about the fact that people who hate on saltnubis will always bring up 'maturity levels' about why Walt/Sadie is actually problematic and hmm, I wonder why you might believe the dark skinned boy is somehow much more mature for his age rather than the lighter skinned girl who's only like a year or so younger than him
