i feel like the "how much longer..." is such a beautiful and devastating line, describing both their longing to finally find peace from their childhood and their longing to never lose the bond they have right now. idk idk. just a thought.

also, i never learned how to animate, so this is pretty wobbly and messy, but i still like it. i think it represents how fragile both Maisie and Theo are.

not my usual content and also this might be an original experience and i apologize if it sounds terribly sad—but i am currently in the exhausting process of cleaning out my depression apartment. and it makes me feel not too good about myself.

so what i do to make it through the night, is sing Mitski's song "I Will" to myself, imagining myself as both a mother singing it and a son/daughter listening to it.

pretty much like a lullaby.

i've been doing it with multiple songs so far and it might sound very strange or lonely or depressing, but it is oddly comforting and i can recommend it to anyone else out there who feels a little alone or scared sometimes.
