It's time to share another coffee painting from the archives, and this time, it's Samwise Gamgee's turn 🫶

I painted it before I was due to meet Sean Astin at the FACTS convention in Belgium. Last minute, I made another painting as I wasn't entirely happy with the first one, depicting the scene where Sam carries Frodo, because it's such an epic moment. I let him pick from either original, and he decided to keep the second one. He quickly grabbed a cup of coffee to pose with when I snapped a picture 😂

He was an absolute sweetheart, and he signed both prints for me to keep 🙏

I had a few people react to the Sam and Frodo-one, saying it doesn't look like Sam. But that's the tortured and sooty face he has during that particular scene 😅
