OH MY GOD YES THANK YOU FOR ALSO LIKING THE IDEA OF CLOUD HAVING FRIENDS IN THE INFANTRY. Just imagine some of them finding him again after everything and going “holy shit we thought you were dead but you’re not, yay!”

YES! I refuse to believe that Cloud didn’t have some kind of friend while he was in Shinra besides Zack. Just no, he deserves more than that and he’s so sweet in Crisis Core, he definitely has people that worried about him after he went missing. He definitely has friends that tried for months to figure out what happened to him before they had to stop for fear of being disappeared.

And then they just find him while out getting groceries and they refuse to let him out of their sight until he tells them what happened and they know he’s doing ok and they have a way to contact him in order to meet up again so they can tell everyone that made it through everything that he’s alive.
