What would a role reversed merman AU scenario be like? And most impotant, what kind of fish species would Hank be? (Not meant as a drawing request or super elaborate essay or anything, I just love reading your ideas ✨️)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know you said this isn't a drawing/essay request but HOW COULD I RESIST!!!
I am not a fish expert but I like to think of Hank being either a dwarf gourami (for that good ol' in-game symbolism hehe) or a tiger shark, because stripes and big teeth and bad temper. Or maybe he could be some sort of tropical fish that's super vibrant and colourful, yet also deadly (poisonous fin spikes?). Marine biologists please weigh in!!!
Some half-formed unofficial notes:
Hank is more outwardly aggressive towards Kamski and the scientists in comparison to Connor’s cold-shoulder approach. They went through their entire tranquilizer supply in the first few months just to get a handle on the roaring, thrashing beast of a merman, and he’s caused more than a few major injuries amongst their team. Just like Connor, he bares his teeth and resists every time they come to take him for experiments; they have to sedate him from a greater distance and with a much heavier dose than they use for Connor, however.
Hank is a little less malnourished than Connor, but only because he doesn't refuse to eat. He's still thinner and weaker than he would be normally
Connor works the night shift. Not sure if it’s because he has another job during the daytime or if he’s going to school, but either way he manages to catch up on sleep during his breaks. He sacrifices this sleep once he and Hank start growing closer, however.
Hank takes much longer to warm up to Connor than the reverse. He snarls and snaps his teeth whenever Connor gets too close; it takes weeks for Connor to be able to approach the edge of the tank. He has to leave the fresh fish on the deck and back away before Hank will even look at it, ice-blue eyes narrowed with suspicion.
Connor is a bit more hesitant to get close to Hank, but that's only because he's always taken his job seriously and he doesn't like breaking the rules. He can't help but stare in awe whenever the large merman swims by, however, vibrant fins flashing and his muscled body cutting powerfully through the water. It's only when Connor starts noticing the scientists taking Hank away - and his glimpses of Hank's violent resistance - that his curiosity and empathy override his sense of obedience and his desire to make a good first impression.
Because Hank doesn't talk, Connor is given even more of an opportunity than usual to run his mouth. He blabbers away, asking question after question as if Hank could answer, sometimes philosophizing and sometimes talking about nothing at all. Hank tries to tune him out as he eats, but the human is annoyingly persistent. Eventually he grows used to the babble, but only after he starts begrudgingly warming up to the kid.
Because Connor talks so damn much, it's alarming when he goes quiet. Hank initiates contact for the first time by taking off his glasses when he has his breakdown. It's the first time Hank has ever been so close to him.
I think that Hank would still have lost Cole when he was a baby mer; possibly to humans and their trapping practices, giving him even more of a reason to hate them. I'm torn on what Connor's backstory should be, though. Perhaps he lost Nines (to an ocean storm?)? Or maybe it’s post-fight with Amanda and he’s feeling directionless in life, suffocating under the weight of his family’s expectations and feeling like he’s a burden and a disappointment despite everything that he’s achieved? Maybe it’s just a good ol’ panic attack because I love forcing anxiety onto human!Connor (no I’m not projecting what do u mean)
Hank's power and girth take on a whole new light after they’ve grown close. Connor is more distracted during their time together, his stream of chatter faltering uncharacteristically whenever Hank shifts a certain way or rips into a fish easily with his powerful jaws. He swallows when he imagines the full strength of the merman pressing him down against the deck, of Hank dragging him into the water and grazing those razor-sharp teeth along his skin, tail wrapped around his body like a serpent and trapping him in place.
Hank could hold the skinny human down with one hand. He knows he could. He imagines wide dark eyes staring up at him, skin flushed prettily and neat brown hair dripping, wordless for once in his life, and nearly loses his self-control. If they were both mermen, he'd be courting the kid to the ends of the ocean. Or...maybe Connor would be the one wooing him. He's certainly brought him enough fish and stared at his chest and arms enough that any merperson worth their salt would consider it mate-like behaviour. It's a weird cognitive dissonance to be feeling this way about a human, but Connor is — Connor is different. Hank likes Connor; he likes him so much that it's stupid.

Smutober Day 24 ~ Primal Play ~ Bang Chan [M]

⤜MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
The corridors you were sprinting through seemed endless, every door was either a dead end or locked and you were starting to feel hopeless as you sprinted through the halls. You needed to get out of here, you needed to get away before he could find you but you were getting tired.
Your legs were aching and your chest was hurting with how hard your heart was racing, everyone was too busy partying to notice that you'd run off and were now running for your life through the halls of this place.
"I'm coming for you." A voice sang out, he was closer than he was before and you hated how much it excited you.
"Shit," You hissed out, walking into one of the doors that finally opened and finding a kitchen. Whose dumb idea was it to hang out in a stupid abandoned secondary school in the first place?
Now you were stuck being chased by someone while you did your best not to get caught. You quietly shut the door and sank down onto the floor, trying your best to catch your breath as you came up with a plan. You could easily use one of the chairs to smash the windows, but the only issue was that you were on the second floor and you didn't fancy breaking a leg.
Instead of staying next to the door, you began to crawl your way along the floor to hide behind one of the desks but the door opened.
"Found you." The voice whispered as a hand clasped its way around your ankle and dragged you back to him. Your eyes came face to face with him and you let out a scream at him, kicking your legs to try and get away.
"Get off me!" You screamed out, wriggling your legs with everything you could but it was no use. Chan pinned you to the floor and chuckled darkly at you,
"Caught you," He mumbled, leaning down and biting your neck, a whimper left your throat.
"I told you the rules, I find you, I fuck you." He ran his hands over your outfit and smirked.
"Colour?" He whispered to you, breaking the scene for only a second but you kissed his cheek.
"Green," You whispered before going back to the role you were playing.
Halloween night meant lots of people came to the abandoned school to party, dressed up in all kinds of outfits and yet Chan couldn't take his eyes off you. You'd dressed up as a lamb while he'd dressed up as a wolf, both of you arriving at the party at separate times so you could truly play into the role you were doing.
"Dressed as a cute little lamb," He whispered as he flicked the ears of your lamb costume and you pouted at him.
"About to be killed by the big bad wolf." You grumbled before kissing him roughly, your hands running through his hair as you pulled him closer to you.
"As much as I loved this cat-and-mouse game, I need you." You moaned against his lips, pulling at the zip on his costume as he chuckled deeply at you.
Within seconds your costumes were tossed to the side and Chan was lining himself up at your entrance while you squirmed beneath him,
"P-Please," You begged, bucking your hips toward him as he let out a small groan, pushing into you roughly putting a stop to your bucking instantly as you cried out his name. His hips began slamming in and out of you, his balls slapping against your ass with every thrust as you whimpered against him.
"F-Fuck yes!" You cry out as you felt every inch of his cock stretching and filling every inch of you.
"You feel so good around me, so tight and wet," He moans out as he kisses you deeply, your hands pulling at the strands of his hair as you cry out loudly.
"Shh, baby. Do you want someone to walk in here?" He questioned, only to be answered as you clenched around him tightly.
"You want someone to see you getting railed?" He growled out, thrusting harder and deeper as he stared down at you, chuckling deeply as he thought about you wanting to get caught and how much more it turned him on.
"Y-Yes!" Your nails dig into his bag as he lets out a grunt, his thrusts getting sloppier as he feels your nails on his skin. He adored it when you marked him, even if it was just scratches.
"You're so fucking dirty, my dirty little slut." He hums, spanking your clit gently as a high-pitched scream leaves your throat.
"C-Close." You whimper at him, as he continued to fuck into you, smirking as he gets rougher with his movements His pace increases, harder, faster and deeper inside of your as your nails rag down his back breaking the skin.
"Chan! C-Chan! Fuck!" You scream out as your body convulses beneath him, your pussy twitching around his cock as he continues to fuck you through your pleasure until you come down from your high.
The two of you laid there for a few moments before collecting your outfits and getting dressed, giggling to one another as you headed home for the night.

Okay, I'm a couple of hours into Veilguard, so I thought I'd share all the things I've really loved so far:
The combat is so much more dynamic and fluid! There were things I liked about the previous games' combat, but I do remember Inquisition often feeling like 'select enemy, then mash buttons until they die.' I love that I can duck and weave around monsters! I love being encouraged to swap between weapons (however much I have to suspend my disbelief about Rook putting away two swords and grabbing a bow in a single second)! It's just really fun!
Maybe I'm imagining it, but I feel like the camera is a bit closer to Rook, and it makes so much difference. Sometimes in Inquisition, and often in Andromeda, I felt really far away from my character, and it creates this sense of distance. It's a tiny thing, but I do genuinely think being that bit closer has made my experience a load better.
I cannot describe how affirming it feels to have an NPC point to my character and casually say 'they.'
Holy shit I love the gang's casual looks. Harding's embroidered florals and Neve's colour scheme?? Also, both of them changing their hairstyles in the field? God I wish I could show this to my 16-year-old self as they stewed in frustration over the women in Mass Effect having to go into battle with their long hair down.
The aesthetics of Arlathan! I made such a delighted noise when I realised they ancient elves had power crystals and magitech-looking devices; sci-fi like elements being introduced into fantasy is my jam, and it works so well to make clear how advanced Elvhenan really was. It reminds me of how cool it was in Critical Role when the characters went to the ruins of Aeor and found a bunch of advanced magitech: that same feeling of 'holy shit, this world we've spent so much time in and treated like a normal fantasy world is post-apocalyptic.'
Being able to give my Rook so many freckles.

AAIC: The New Cover Art!
This is the 6th post in the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection Countdown: 75 days left until release!
Today's topic: the new Cover Art!
[Spoiler warning for both games]
Tumblr media
I ADORE this cover art! I don’t think they could’ve done it any better than it is. Literal perfection! I’m so looking forward to owning this collection and just seeing this beautiful art whenever I pick it up. There are so many interesting details and for this post I want to talk about all of them!
First off, front and centre, we, of course, have the man, the myth, the legend: Miles Edgeworth, ace prosecutor, best character in the entire AA franchise and our lovely protagonist! I have an unreasonable amount of love for the pose they chose for him here because it’s essentially the same one as the first look you see of him in Investigations 2, just viewed from the front.
Tumblr media
I don’t know if that was really the intention or if Miles dramatically putting on his jacket like this is just that sexy of a look – and I openly admit it’s incredibly sexy – that they had to use it again. Either way, I love it all the same. He looks very serious and determined which fits Miles perfectly. The colour of his hair also comes out really nicely, it’s slightly greyish brown but not actually grey.
Right next to him, as is only right for his two loyal assistants, are Gumshoe and Kay. Kay is as dynamic and eager to throw herself into the nearest action as I know and love her to be. She runs towards the right while Gumshoe is headed left creating a nice roughly symmetrical direction that goes through the whole artwork. Gumshoe is also in full active investigation mode to gather whatever evidence Miles requires him to and I especially love the added detail of him holding Missile in his arms. He’s more or less Gumshoe’s personal police dog and has a few scenes in both Investigations games so it makes perfect sense that they added him in. And he’s as cute as always!
Going downwards towards the very front we see our main rivals of both games: Shi-Long on the left for Investigations 1 and Justine on the right for Investigations 2. Shih-na is somewhat in the middle between them, a bit closer to Shi-Long which makes sense since she’s his assistant for the majority of the first game. Apart from that she’s not really a rival per se as you only really interact with her in the final case where she’s one of the two major antagonists but I understand why they typically add her in the promotional material since she does play an important role and is introduced together with Shi-Long so leaving her out would be suspicious. Her pose is reminiscent of the synchronized sun glasses removal thing Shi-Long and her do which fits nicely. (If you wanted to interpret it, you could see it as foreshadowing to her eventually removing her mask.) Funnily enough, Shi-Long’s pose is most similar to his damage animation, at least the way he holds his hands. He doesn’t look shocked though, his expression is open and focused, so it looks more like he's gesturing to something or visualizing a direction forward to himself. Like a wolf focusing in on his prey or a rival investigator animatedly discussing his theories. Love that! I also love how he stands firmly with his legs apart giving us a nice view of his belt and his chest which I always appreciate from him~ Justine is pretty much exactly in her "Hush" pose from the game which is not only badass but also gives her this aloof air that fits her really nicely.
In the gap between Shi-Long and Shih-na, significantly smaller because they're not as important characters, are Maggey, Lotta and Nicole. All three look really stressed or excited, Lotta with her camera and Nicole with her microphone are certainly trying to catch some scoop while Maggey was either pushed away by them in their haste or just reacts shocked at their antics. Love seeing a few minor characters added to the background like this, they add some nice flavour to the overall composition.
In the gap between Shih-na and Justine we can see the badgers from Gatewater Land in I1-3: the Proto, Blue and Pink Badger (including the handcuffs which you can just barely see on her hand), and if you look closely you can even see the legs of the Bad Badger sticking out from behind Shih-na. The others seem to have taken out the bad guy already. The Proto Badger even seems to have the weapon for it, you can just barely make out part of a sword hilt in his hand which seems to be a sneaky reference to one lovely image from that case 😉
Going back up, right next to Gumshoe, above Shi-Long on the left is Ray and next to Kay, above Justine on the right is Sebastian. Since Sebastian is the secondary rival to Justine in Investigations 2 it only makes sense to put them together. Sebastian makes a frame with his hands and looks through it as if he was adjusting or contemplating something which is also one of his in-game animations. I love that they picked one of his more serious poses for this, he is a goofy character but he has a great and emotional arc so this represents his overall role much better. You can even read it as already implying the arc he goes through where he has to adjust his entire perspective on himself, his life and his father. I also love how well the red of his jacket blends with the background and Miles' own right next to him which is a nice colour connection between the two. Ray is in the weird position of being sort of an assistant/mentor/colleague figure without really being one definite thing but he plays an important role in Investigations 2 so putting him with the assistants and rivals makes sense. He's faced to the side but looks to the front with a neutral, maybe slightly joking, expression. You can admire his hat pretty well which gives him the obvious connection to Gregory.
To Sebastian's right, also a bit smaller, we can see Badd looking like he's smoking a cigarette but really sucking on a lollipop. He's wonderfully shaded in dim light and looks like your quintessential edgy depressed cop which he's supposed to invoke in the game as well. I'm happy that they didn't forget to include him since he is pretty important in Investigations 1 and fills a great minor role in Investigations 2. Very deserved to be on the cover art.
Another lovely detail is what we can see in the frame Sebastian makes with his fingers: Regina, Simon Keyes, Money the monkey and Astique the elephant from the Berry Big Circus! They're tiny but you can even make out Simon's "being controlled by the monkey" animation. This is probably my favourite detail in this entire artwork because on the surface they only play a minor role in one case in Investigations 2 so perfectly justified for a little detail in the artwork like the badgers or Maggey. However, if you know, this is about the sneakiest way I can imagine to work in your main antagonist without giving the twist of his importance away. It's brilliant!
Going further into the background, we have Ema behind Sebastian and teen Franziska further behind Gumshoe. Ema has a short supporting role in both games (a cameo because she was originally supposed to be the protagonist of the spin-off) and is a relevant character over the entire franchise so she naturally shows up in the cover art. She holds her pink forensic glasses on her hat and looks somewhere towards the centre (maybe at Miles?) with an open expression, probably eager to look for clues in Miles' investigations the scientific way. Teen Franziska keeps getting put into promotional material despite only appearing in one case whereas her adult version shows up a lot more often in both games. I understand wanting to advertise with her since it's fun seeing her so young but I do prefer her when she's older. Anyway, fittingly she shows off her riding crop, has dramatically in the wind blowing hair and a very determined look on her face. Couldn't have asked for more for the Franziska von Karma's pose.
To Franziska's feet, in small, is John Marsh from Investigations 2's final case. Considering how important he is in that, and being Justine's adopted son, it's clear why he's here. He has some milk in his hand and seems to look downwards but without specifically referring to one of his animations.
Large in the background behind Miles we see Gregory and von Karma, positioned in opposition to each other. With both having a huge influence on Miles' life, in opposite directions, and being deeply involved in the whole theme that especially Investigations 2 has going on, again in entirely opposed positions, this fits perfectly. Their meeting and confrontation set off the events behind so much of the series and a large part of Investigations 2's story as well so having them loom over most of our characters here, most notably Miles, is a wonderful representation of that. Gregory has his hat pulled a little towards his face and looks mostly contemplative and serious while von Karma looks directly forward and a lot more aggressively confrontational. Another great way to show off their vastly different personalities.
Still further in the background, behind Ema and Gregory, is Shelly de Killer in his ice cream salesman "disguise" as he appears in Investigations 2. He's a pretty relevant recurring character so it's nice to see him here as well. Being such a famous assassin he mostly has a looming presence over the course of Investigations 2 where you wonder what he's up to while you uncover more and more secrets which perfectly fits his placement in the shadowy background. He even has his ice cream cone in his hand.
Going into the distant background away from the characters, we have the two monsters Gourdy and Moozilla facing off on the left - part of the set-up for Investigations 2's final case - and the Steel Samurai and the Pink Princess on the very top of a large building with a glowing sun behind them looking straight up out of the Steel Samurai show - part of the set-up for Investigations 1's final case. They're both Global Studios productions as well so they're nice mirrors of each other in several regards. In the very centre between them we see a statue of Iustitia, the goddess of law and justice, with her scales and blindfold which is not only thematically extremely relevant to a game about attorneys solving crimes and catching criminals but is also the exact same statue that stands inside the PIC meeting room giving us a nice connection to the other major antagonist in Investigations 2.
The very last detail that I want to mention in this unbelievably gorgeous cover art is the outline of the prosecutor's badge in the very back. It's a beautiful design, as far as I'm concerned, and what better image to invoke for the spin-off starring the best prosecutor in the franchise!

Hi!!! I come to you for ideas about Lia. What about her sexual orientation and romance HC? Is there someone in Baldur's Gate she is romantically interested in? Does she want a family or does she prefer to focus on her career as a Flaming fist member?
Hi,
I like the concept of Baldur's Gate being a game where there is no prejudice against the sexual orientation of the characters. You can show interest in creatures regardless of their sex, creating an open and inclusive environment. Let's assume that this also applies to Lia.
Is there someone in Baldur's Gate she is romantically interested in?
As a Tiefling with a history of her own, a colourful personality and deep convictions, Lia can find several potential romantic interests. Given her tendency to protect her loved ones and her desire for justice, there are a few characters who might pique her interest:
Wyll
Tumblr media
• Wyll, with his desire for justice and his willingness to help others, resonates with Lia's inner beliefs. She sees him as an ideal partner who shares her values and is willing to fight for what's right.
• Their relationship can be based on mutual respect and support. Lia may admire Wyll's nobility and willingness to fight for justice, which will strengthen their bond and create a foundation for deep feelings. His ability to forgive and see the good in people can help Lia become more open and trusting.
• Lia and Duke Wyll met in the town square, where he gave a fiery speech about the need to fight injustice and help those in need. Sensing a kindred spirit in the man, Lia could not remain indifferent. She approached him and got into a lively discussion about plans to defend the city and help the refugees. There was an instant spark between them. Wyll was impressed by Leah's determination and passion, and she in turn admired his nobility and selfless dedication.
• One evening, Wyll took Lia to his luxurious residence. As the sun set, he invited her to be his partner in more than just political life, asking her to become his Grand Duchess and share the responsibility of defending the city. Stepping into the role of Duchess at Wyll's side, Lia will face new challenges and responsibilities that will significantly change her life and her perception of herself and the world around her.
• Accustomed to solving problems through force and ingenuity, Lia will be faced with difficult political and administrative decisions. She'll have to learn from Wyll how to run a city where her former skills are replaced by the art of negotiation and diplomacy.
• Her temper can be a problem, but she learns restraint and patience, especially in resolving conflicts between different interest groups. Despite her sometimes fiery temper, Lia's honesty and genuine desire to help have earned her the respect of the people of her town. Her actions, including initiatives to help poor families, are supported by the people, despite opposition from some of the nobility.
• Rolan helps Lia develop a magical defence for the city, using his knowledge and the resources of the Tower, which strengthens their relationship. Rolan and Cal continue to be an important support to Lia. They help her with advice and participate in the running of the town, which helps Lia feel more confident in her new role.
• She, used to being an activist, doubts her abilities as a manager, but with the support of Wyll and her brothers, she finds confidence in her decisions. She and Wyill work together to rebuild the town and develop new social programmes, which strengthens their relationship.
• Lia and Wyll spend long nights discussing plans to rebuild the town and develop new social programmes, which brings them even closer together. There share responsibility for running the town, using their respective strengths. Lia deals with law and order and social reform, while Wyll concentrates on foreign policy.
• Their love and strong relationship has a positive effect on those around them. The townspeople see them as the ideal couple, which increases their authority and trust in their decisions.
• Lia and Wyll have similar names and may choose to name their own children accordingly: Liyan or Luis for a boy and Lilla or Wyllina for a girl.
Dammon
Tumblr media
• Lia and Dammon, both Tieflings, find in each other not only a romantic attraction, but also understanding and support. Their relationship grows out of a shared desire to help the Tieflings and to cope with the hardships of the fall of their ancestral home. Both have strong charisma and magnetism: Lia impresses Dammon with her determination, passion for justice and concern for the fate of others, while Dammon attracts Lia with his kindness and optimism.
• Their relationship grows stronger as they begin to work together on common tasks. They work together to help the Tieflings, organising shelter and making sure they have everything they need, organise supplies of food and resources for the Tieflings who have been left without a home. Their combined efforts and successes bring them closer together.
• With a fiery temperament, Lia often prefers to solve problems quickly and decisively, while Dammon tends to be more gentle and diplomatic. These differences can lead to conflict, but also teach them to compromise and work together.
• As Lia watches Dammon work in the forge, she sees his strong but caring hands forge metal and feels her heart begin to beat faster. Dammon notices and asks her out on a date.
• A date at the forge: Dammon meets Lia at the entrance to the forge, which is decorated with fresh flowers and lights, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. He gives Lia a small bouquet of metal flowers that he has forged himself, demonstrating his skill and attention to detail.
Dammon takes Lia on a tour of the forge, talking about the different tools and techniques he uses in his work. He shows how exquisite metalwork is created and tells stories of working with infernal machinery. She admires Dammon's skill and creativity, feels inspired and interested, and appreciates the tour he has given special for her.
Dammon suggests that they create something together. He shows her how to use the tools and explains the forging process. Together they work on a small metal sculpture or piece of jewellery to symbolise their work together. Lia is enthusiastic about the process, relishing the opportunity to learn something new and to work side by side with Dammon. The date ends with a sweet declaration of affection and a kiss.
Lae'zel
Tumblr media
• Lae'zel, like Lia, has a strong character and is not afraid to express and defend her opinions.
• She values combat skills and strength, which may resonate with Lia, who also takes pride in her skills and is not afraid to use weapons and spells to defend her beliefs.
• Lia and Lae'zel may find common ground in discussing combat strategies. They can train together, and Lia admires Lae'zel's tenacity and discipline.
• Lia may be attracted to Lae'zel because of her steadfastness, her willingness to fight for her ideals, and her speed in battle.
• But her brothers are unlikely to appreciate her close relationship with the fierce Githyanki warrior.
Astarion
Tumblr media
• Astarion attracts Lia with his charisma and mystery. His dark past and complex emotions may make her want to protect and help him.
• Lia appreciates Astarion's openness and honesty as he reveals his secrets.
• She may meet Astarion in his moments of vulnerability, which may make her want to help him and show him that he is not alone in his suffering. She can offer her support and blood.
• Lia can be a source of strength and understanding to Astarion, strengthening their bond and allowing him to confide in her.
• Bites to her sister's body will cause serious conflict between Astarion and Rolan. This can be a serious obstacle in their relationship. The brothers are not happy about the vampire fiancé. And this love boat will easily crash on the rocks of the brothers' disapproval. I can hear Rolan telling her: “Lia, no. It won't happen in my lifetime.”
Romance HC:
Tumblr media
• As a sister who protects her brothers, Lia has complicated feelings about romantic relationships. She fears that her potential partner may not accept her family or understand how important it is for her to protect her loved ones. This makes her cautious and even suspicious of those who show interest in her.
• Lia's fiery temper and passion for defending her point of view is projected onto relationships. She is not afraid to argue with her partner, and these arguments can be very heated, but this also means that she is deeply involved and cares about the person. She believes that arguments strengthen a relationship if they are based on respect and honesty. She is not afraid to discuss difficult issues as she believes this leads to a deeper understanding of each other.
• Lia is drawn to those who show courage and a willingness to help those in need. Her heart begins to beat faster at the sight of someone who, like her, is willing to take risks for others. However, she can also feel jealousy and competition if her lover pays excessive attention to someone else.
• Because of her fiery temper and fear of betrayal, Lia can find it difficult to trust her partner. She often fears that she will be betrayed or not supported in a difficult moment. She therefore needs time to open up and trust her lover.
• Lia sees love as a form of service. She will be willing to sacrifice her own interests for the happiness of her partner. Helping and supporting her lover is as important to her as helping her family. She may spend a lot of time and effort trying to make her partner's life better.
• It is important to her that her partner not only accepts her as she is, but also understands the reasons for her actions. She wants her feelings and actions to be seen not just as outbursts of anger, but as caring and protective.
• Lia's ideal partner is someone who respects and supports her decisions, but is also able to argue with her on an equal footing. He must be willing to move forward, not be afraid of difficulties and be able to withstand her turbulent emotions. She is looking for a man who will not only be her lover, but also a real battle buddy.
• Lia will not be able to form a relationship with someone who cannot accept her family as their own. A mate for her is someone who will be part of her small but friendly and close-knit society. She wants her mate to love and respect her brothers as much as she does, and to be willing to support them in any situation.
• Despite her fiery temper, Lia can be surprisingly romantic at unexpected times. She might cook dinner at sunset or take a romantic trip to a favourite spot. These moments show that beneath the outward toughness and determination lies a soft and tender heart.
• Lia protects her family not only in battle, but also in everyday life. She can watch over a loved one and make sure no one hurts them. For example, if someone tries to cheat her partner in a trade deal, she won't hesitate to step in and insist on justice, even if it means open conflict.
• Lia feels the need for physical contact and support, even if she doesn't always show it. In difficult moments she will seek the opportunity to simply hold her partner's hand or rest her head on his shoulder.
Does she want a family or does she prefer to focus on her career
• Lia grew up surrounded by her brothers, who have become the meaning of her life. She believes in the power of family and wants to create a family that is as strong and united as her current one. She wants to surround herself with people she can trust and do anything for. Lia sees her brothers taking care of each other and it makes her think about one day starting a family of her own that will be just as strong and supportive.
• She realises that family is not necessarily a limitation, but an opportunity for support and inspiration. She begins to see her brothers and her partner not only as close to her, but as partners with whom any ambitious project can be realised. She has enough strength and wisdom within her to combine these spheres successfully.
Thanks for the question, you literally pulled me out of my writing crisis!

4, 10, and/ or 28 for Wilbur Cross with the headcanon game?
4. Voice
We all know and love his uncle Wiley voice, which is mostly used for their lords' more entrepreneurial ventures (tickle me wiggly, watcher's world). He knows how to fit their brand, often associated with products for kids and the lords themselves presenting their most fwendy face. He fits their brand so much he even takes expressions and mannerism from them. Wiggly finds it amusing when Wilbur imitates his brothers, but he isn't so fond of seeing his on their disciple. That's why Wilbur also uses other inspirations, such as the cartoons he used to watch as a child. His memories aren't always crisp, provoking more uncanny effects that he wants to.
Talking about Wilbur himself, I do think his voice changed when he went through the portal. Even if he had a protection suit like Howie had in Black Friday, I don't think it was refined enough to protect him, even less if they were in the black and white for an extended period of time. Everyone who knew him before the portal says something changed, but none of them agree on what: some think his voice got deeper, while others think it is something about the pitch. John only knows it got colder than it was. Everyone agrees however that there's something uncanny about it, something wrong, even if it's their first time talking with Wilbur.
10. Posture/physical movement
There is something Wrong with how Wilbur moves. It is close to the movement of a puppet: if you see it just passing by and without paying it much attention it seems fine. But if you look closer, you'll see that the arms and the legs aren't really moving at the same time, or that the chest is slightly too inflated when he's inhaling. Wilbur lost part of his corporality in the Black and White, and pretending to be human and have a normal body required an effort they don't usually put into.
Their movements are also really fluid, slightly more fluid that they should be. Their whole body moves as one whole, even if it's the smallest gesture. This provokes that, when he stops and has to stay still, he is in really odd postures. Think water in a weirdly-shaped recipient, or a doll thrown by a kid.
28. Interactions with their lover
Much to their chagrin, they always meet on the field. It's always during an apotheosis, Wilbur is helping the lords with their designs while John is trying to stop them. Wilbur really enjoys their brief time together, toying with John and seeing how he reacts in the different timelines. I think Wilbur has given speeches to John about their intentions like they did to Howie in Black Friday, sometimes trying to make him understand it, others just having fun with MacNamara. I like to think Wilbur often plays a key role in neutralizing John, being the reason he is infected in The Guy (shoutout to The Colour Green, fic that introduced me to the concept and I've integrated to my headcanons).
In the Black Friday timeline things are different, as John is also part of the Black and White. I like to think that when wwiii is started, and Wiggly is probably gets out as his kingdom has come, John and Wilbur can have a real talk. John wouldn't want to talk to them, but I think Wilbur would. They would want John to know the lords as he does, to work with him one last time. Wilbur would be as sweet as they're able to, he would be excited to guide John through his world. But they also know John would never accept. That doesn't stop Wilbur from trying though

Maison Martin Margiela PITTI IMAGINE UOMO REPORT & INTERVIEW
Aw06 (pt.2)
Tumblr media
"The invitation was a demitasse cup that featured handwritten details about the show."
Tumblr media
"The reception party held at Theatro Puccini on the night of January 12th. The view from a camera positioned at the entrance was projected on screens inside the venue. In a piece of clever trickery, models for the show appeared on screens walking in the front door but suddenly strode out onto the main stage. After their appearances, each of them slipped away into the crowd with the presentation ending in just a few moments. The models then proceeded to party along with the assembled throng. All were clad in clothes from assorted past collections, some of which were especially painted white for this event."
Tumblr media
What is the concept behind your project at PITTI?
We were kindly invited by Pitti Imagine to attend their last fair in June 2005. On that occasion we spent most of our time visiting all of the pavil- ions and stands of the participants and were greatly inspired by the ener- gy and bustle of the place. Of course the projects of the invited and fea- tured designers were great yet we were more drawn by the core energy and purpose of Pitti itself. Pitti is a men's wear fair first and foremostly yet it is also a meeting of minds, cultures and creativity where people of our industry have the time to work, socialise, catch up on news, ideas and the work of others. This was our primary stimulus in our project and we very quickly decided that we would like our project to be within this maelstrom of creativity and commerce.
As the colour white is a key element of the expression of the Maison Martin Margiela and commerce, stands, booths, cafés and restaurants are key to the life of Pitti we decided to have these aspects confront each other and try to create a "Fair within a Fair", a game of sorts. For this reason we decided to bring our 'White' to as many aspects of the life of Pitti imagine Uomo 69 as possible in the stands and areas we have created as well as propose souvenirs of this Pitti and provide light moments of distraction, relaxation and fun for its visitors.
-What are your impressions of PITTI?
We have always been greatly impressed by the strength that Pitti Imagine and Pitti Uomo represent for our industry and even more impressed by all of the projects that have been created and staged by our predecessors ans invited designers at Pitti Uomo. The organizers of Pitti Imagine have had a lot of patience with us down through the years as this was certainly not the first time that they have invited us to partici pate. On the other occasions we had decline as we were too small a team to cope with putting on the type of project we would have liked to We are more than happy that Pitti Imagine persisted with their invitation and that we can now bring a part of who we are to Fiorence.
-Why are all of the Maison Martin Margiela interiors and con- tents painted white?
We have always used white as an expression of our House, team and work. White represents a force through fragility for us. It is never just white and more-whites all the shades possible! We usually use mat white so that the passage of time is evident.
-Many Critics have commented on your work as being on the borderline between fashion and art. is that how you regard it as well?
We view it as firmly footed on the fashion side of the fence yet we are happy to learn of how our work touches others. It is not that we view our work in one way that any other interpretation is not valid. Such an interpretation, in this case that our work is closer to that of an artist, though welcome, remains entirely subjective
-Your Artisanal collections remake vintage clothes. Why?
We have always enjoyed the challenge of reworking existing clothes, fabrics and objects to create new garments and accessories. This challenge is linked to finding a new role and force for these materials, revisiting their structure and use. For us it is not that garments are vintage in the since that this word has now become we use materials and garments from many sources and periods - many of them very ordinary.
-What effect did Martin Margiela's time as designer at Hermès have on his work for the Maison Martin Margiela lines?
When he first got the offer, Martin Margiela felt that it was a great honour. Many interpret luxury as a level of quality, but we perceive luxury as quality with functionality that it is important for something to be able to have a long term of use. The experience at Hermès further strengthened Martin's belief in this principle.
-How do you view the trends? Do they have any effect on Maison Martin Margiela?
We inhabit the realm of individuality, so we tend not to concern ourselves with trends. We do, however, understand that as long as one has an interest in clothes, they cannot be ignored. As people who make clothes, we may absorb them subconsciously.
-Your men's and women's wear collections are very different. Why is that? And why no men's fashion shows?
The original title we gave to 10, our men's wear was "A wardrobe for men. In this our approach is much more linked to purely a sensibility of dressing than a creative expression in the designer' sense of the term. Our focus is much more on the details of construction and fabrics of individual garments than on outfits and styling. In our view most men search a less radical, more introverted, expression through their clothes than the women who enjoy wearing our clothes. For 1 (our collection for women) the approach is much more one of an ongoing study on the form of a gar ment as it is worn on the body as well as the overall silhouette. The challenge is to invent and bring new views on the shape of garments to our customers. As for the lack of shows for 10 this is born from our wish to present the clothes being wom in a more day to day environment than that of a fashion show for this reason we tend more to present the wardrobe via a photo reportage with an explanation of the detailing of the main gar ments of 10 for any particular season in a more one-on-one setting.
-How has the sale of the majority of your company to Diesel changed your life?
It is Renzo Rosso, President of Diesel group that has entered our company as a majority shareholder. In a certain way this means that Diesel is a 'sister company' rather than being directly part of our structure. The changes we are experiencing are both sought and very evaluative, natural and are very reassuring in that we now have access to an expertise and approach to the more structural aspects of our work as a company that eluded us prior to this change in our structure.
-Is there anyone you'd like to wear your clothes? Do you wear your Maison Martin Margiela clothes?
Among people like us who love clothes, there are many who place importance on a creativity and sensitivity. There are many people like that among the Japanese. Of course, we all wear Maison Martin Margiela.
-In the past you have collaborated with Rei Kawakubo, what Impression did you have of her?
Whether you are Japanese or Belgian, Madame Kawakubo is a very great woman. Despite the fact that she has already become a legend, she continues in her pursuit if creation. That is a wonderful thing. To us. she is both 'spiritual mother' and 'creative sister.
-Martin Margiela refuses to be photographed. This makes you unique in a business that thrives on celebrity and cult of per- sonality. Why did you decide on this policy?
In any case we do not adopt this way of behaving just to be unique but more so that we may find our way to function and to proceed that best represents our priorities for our work and the means of stimulation for us in our work that we choose to focus on. If we were not to find our way of functioning to continue over the long term was not to be possible.
-The Maison Maartin Margiela speaks as a collective, why have you chosen to do this?
In order that we best reflect the reality of our work together. Even though the final result of our work may be accredited to the creative vision of a designer and their team (as is the case for all other fashion design com- panies) we preferred that the contribution of all team members to this final result be expressed in a more transparent manner. It must also be said that our wish to communicate collectively clearly evokes the position that we have taken with the label on our clothes since our beginning in 1989, namely, that it be blank or with numbers and not the name of one individual printed on it.
-Some people have speculated that there is no such person as Martin Margiela...
We have been hearing this for a long time now. It is sad that people do not accept the way that a person wants to be, and leave him alone. The reason that Martin Margiela is not exposed to the media is absolutely not an attempt to create some sense of mystery. If you want to know about us, look at the clothes we make that is everything - there is no need for a designer to be visible. For the record, fear not; the designer Martin Margiela does exist in the flesh.

my current pathfinder parties!!! its funny that you can guess my PC just by the colour palette (spoiler: they're both in reds) and they accidentally have the same type of weapon (a sabre) but that's on me
it's also fun to me that when playing Nyra I get really relaxed because she's just a talkative nonsense (and so am I) and it's real easy role-playing as her you just need to push all the buttons and act like a 3-year-old but with Vasya I end up actively SWEATING because she's just so tough and grumpy and I'M NOT and it's an effort to talk the way she does (although others say i'm doing a good job so!) because I need to restraint myself and talk less than I usually do (and I do lower my voice a little when I play her)
I also like how I subconsciously drew the first group closer physically in the picture because they're much closer in-game whereas the second group is new and they basically know each other for literally two days

Dragon Age: Vows and Vengeance
Tumblr media
Episodes: 1, 2, 3, and 4
Episodet: 5, 6, 7, and 8
Personal Conclusions
What lore do we extract from them? What seems to be questionable or a recall of a concept from a previous game? I basically collect the interesting ideas and make small speculations or comments on them, testing their reliability or lore consistency as far as I can.
*These Podcasts, like Absolution, are not considered reliable sources of lore [read the end of the post]
Episode 5: The Scales of Justice
youtube
This story happens in Par Vollen, Qunari lands.
Thaash seems to have a natural sense to perceive where to go, to the point maps are useless for her. She is called “Qunari”, but when she interacts with other Qunari, we can perceive a certain disdain by the Qun but not a total rejection from her part. We still need to learn where she stands at with the Qun. She speaks Qunlat [or I think that was the chant about]
There is a treasure presented: Ruins of Bloodfire Stones, sacred rubies that are forged from the scales of a dragon. This treasure is in the “Temple of the Lost Dragon”, sacred ground for the Qunari.
Drayden and Nadia are jailed in a building described as a pyramid. This may be direct callback to the codex   The Pyramids of Par Vollen, but weirdly incorporated, because in the podcast they are mere prisons when the codex explains they were closer to [Ghilan'nain] laboratories [more details in the Par Vollen section of Dragon Age Iconic Patterns: The Sun].
This podcast presents very questionable Qunari lore: I won’t rant here, but certainly the whole episode shows how little the writers know about the lore of the Qunari, their moral values, their language, their strict rules that they follow, the importance of the “role” in Qunari society. I highly recommend not to use this content for anything Qunari-lore related. In general, this applies to all the series of podcasts, as we are seeing progressively.
Painful, very painful use of Kadan word. That a Qunari child steps in front of a Kithshok to stop his role… it’s painful. What is this? And the implications that Qunari could not care much about kids or their enemies, when we know their culture is all about not wasting resources, not even your enemy when it’s capable of becoming a useful weapon for you, it’s also painful. These writers had no idea what the Qunari were, and Epler, who had to check this, either.
The writers also don’t know about dragon lore in DA. Female dragons are always winged dragons. It doesn’t matter their spine colour.
The conclusion of how the ring works and how it will guide Elio throughout the Fade to Nadia…. All this is confusing and just so out of the blue in my opinion.
Drayden has seasicknes.
Language is immersion breaker: “yep”, “ain’t”, “piss off”, “you guys”, “jinx”, “nah”. They are a step from start using “lol”. It was a bit annoying that many characters have been using "yep" in the previous podcasts, but in here the language fell on the modern English. I can see this as a careless work.
Our future companion Taash is introduced in this episode.
Personal opinion: As we check the writers we discover the following: Will Melton has a long career very focused in Marvel-like scripts, which shows it in the podcasts, unfortunately. On the other hand, we have Jeremy Novick whose portfolio seems a lot more serious but a shorter career. The director Matt Sav is a person who has more experience with musicals, music, and musicians than… well, narrative story in fantasy genre. I think we can assume these podcasts are a bad product, as it was Absolution: made by people who had no experience in the genre, no real knowledge of the franchise, and they were more doing a freelance job badly paid by Bioware/EA [most likely] since the big majority of their seniors were laid-off in the last decade or simply quit. The only exception is Trick Weekes [who "inherited" Gaider's role in the company], but certainly they can't do everything. They are the only person with the “Bioware” style of narrative that was always so valued in the games of this genre. What i felt with this podcast is that the company is just relaying on Dragon Age's fame to convince new players that this is a good product [the podcast], or use the despair of old fans that have been waiting a decade for a new story in this world. As usual, companies keep killing good art concepts. Update: And as it was expected, Epler explained later that the authors of these podcasts knew no Lore [details at the end of this post].
Episode 6:
youtube
This story starts at the shores of Rivain and continues in Antiva. Antiva has been suffering earthquakes that have swallowed entire villages, sudden teleportations (????? Because the Veil is thin I guess? These podcasts are a pain for lore fans), the forests have been wasted, terrible storms hit the land, and the crops have become rotten overnight. Clearly, the story informs us that a series of unnatural disasters have been hitting this country. This context has increased the social frictions and can bring political consequences.
Marethari Talas apparently wrote books or shared her stories about dreamers before becoming an abomination [??]
Elio, as heir of a family of Dreamers, is suspected to be able to find Nadia just… because they have a connection[??] product of the Eye that exploded in episode 1 [???]. What's lore?
Drayden's old name is Aristide of House Amato, which seems to be a noble antivan family. She has a mabari called Ophelia too [there are no other dog breeds in Thedas, it seems, lol].
Our future companion Lucanis Dellamorte is introduced in this episode. Which considering the situation he is in the game [no spoilers] it would mean these podcasts are happening, at least, a year before The Veilguard. This podcast also puts Lucanis in a situation that shows him as not so specialized on killing Venatori Mages, since Drayden’s father hired him to be his bodyguard [more reasons to see that these podcasts are not truly well inserted in the lore]. Apparently, Lucanis and Drayden’s father were good friends since the latter found in Lucanis a kind of confident, speaking a lot about his child Drayden. Maybe honouring that friendship is the reason why Lucanis does not mind to work for free for Drayden in this case.
Episode 7:
youtube
This Episode starts in Antiva, and continues in Nevarra. We see Nevarra being hit by earthquakes and storms, similar to Antiva, but no sudden teleportations happen here because the “writing” doesn’t need it, apparently.
Introducing a finger inside a deep stabbing wound is a way to asses if inner organs were hurt. You can also feel “spams and arterial ejections” [?????]
“If there's one thing a Crow can do besides killing, it's treating a wound” Potentially possible? I don’t know if I trust this sentence after listening that said Crow fingered an open wound.
Blood of the Black Rot: concoction that gets into the humors, slowly turning the blood into something like oil. Ironically, black rot has some references in DAO when it comes to the Taint. There are no lore-about a poison described as such. Strangely enough, the poison produces black veins in the white of the eye, finding some resemblance to the Blight. Is this intentional or the writers just kept messing the little lore? I don’t think it even matters. We are informed that there is no antidote.
A weird “blood magic” called “Exsanguination” is shown: blood magic can be used to take out all the blood of a person [so the body has no blood for some time], “cleanse” it of any poison in the air with the help of spirits [????], and put it back into the body. It’s not what the blood magic in DA lore is about: Blood fuels magic when you don’t have mana or lyrium to drink, it is used to summoning demons, and to control the mind of mortals. Can we assume this is a new use? I don’t know.
The antivans claim that there is no strong necromancer in Antiva, when we know Yavanna has been around in its Swamps for a long time. It’s true that in the comic The Silent Grove she is killed, but nobody but Alistair, Varric, and Isabela know about it. That Lucanis proposes to cross half country with a poisoned person instead of approaching the Witch of the Wild closer to them is unexpected. Yavanna has brought back people from death to ask them questions, so her necromancy arts are unquestionable. Crossing an entire country is a lot more reasonable.
Being “touched by the fade” makes you “resistant to death” [as Emmrich literally says, which is an absurd]. Let’s assume that was a mistake that nobody corrected and we learn that they are resistant to poison: It is also absurd in DA lore; since mages [who have a deeper connection to the Fade, if anything] are not poison-resistant. These writers keep showing that they have no idea what they are writing about [which is reasonable, they never worked in fantasy genre or DA context] but also it shows how little care Bioware had to keep these podcasts consistent.
Manfred doesn’t speak, he just makes sounds. He apparently has a connection with Emmrich that allows him to fully understand him. Apparently he doesn’t like nicknames.
Emmrich can send a message “beyond the Veil” to Drayden, who is unconscious. So, in terms of lore, are they telling us that Drayden is walking in the Fade? So they are more like a mage than anything else. And What’s this weird “message beyond the Veil”? It sounds a bit of a nonsense. Imagine that if the Mages could communicate through the Fade in this fashion, Thedas would already have a system of interconnected Circles with Mages bringing and sending messages all across the continent.
Emmrich informs us that the ritual that Solas and Elio performed in the Silent Plains caused some general consequences on the Veil in all the region.
The authors managed to create an original character [Nadia] and write her absolutely out of character in this episode, showing her with a blind, naive trust to the owners of the Castle [Pascal and Spinella] who are maniacally giggling, sighing menacingly, and emphasizing in a cheap acting words like “crypts”, “divine”, and behaving in the most suspicious ever. Plain, obvious, cartoon evil characters. And yet, Nadia doesn’t even question them, when she has been mistrusting every person who was not Elio in all the previous episodes. She even drinks what they offer to her without batting her eyes, despite all the obvious, villainous tone that the whole conversation has. This brings the question: how much do we can trust the companion’s characterization in these podcasts when they can’t keep consistent their own original character?
Demons are characterized as in the Christian mythology instead of the DA lore. Demons sing chants to… do magic. [??????]
Emmrich speaks with the demon as if this were a demonic possession in a Christian context, even starting to perform an exorcism [??????!!!]. It has no way to be perceived like this by mages in DA lore context: once a person has been possessed, they barely can be fixed. The few cases where possessions were removed implied a journey to the Fade with a lot of lyrium involved if the saviours were not mages, to kill the demon in the Fade [Connor’s case in DAO, Pharamond in Asunder, and Feynriel in DA2]. Even when the possession has been done by a Spirit who is willingly to leave the body, it also requires a good amount of Lyrium [Frostback Basin [DLC]: Stone-Bear Hold Avvars - Part 1]. By the way Emmrich speaks, looks like he is about to perform an exorcism in the most christian way possible, giving us yet another evidence that these podcasts have no DA lore. “You are not welcome to that body. You shall leave now” is not what a mage in DA world will say, since they know that any posessed person is already very compromised. By the sounds we listen, we can guess the excorcism is starteing, so the demon, instead of abandoning the body, kills it [???].
Somehow the ring that was in Bellara’s flicker, that was taken by the Corrupted/possessed Templar, now is in the hands of Possessed Elio. Again, the object seems to work like a GPS, when nothing in DA lore behaves like that, only phylacteries.
By the end of the episode, Emmrich can see that Elio is not a human, but he never saw it in Pascal. Consistency issues. Once more, we have more proofs that we can’t trust these podcasts: not for their lore, nor for their companion’s skills/characterizations. They barely are consistent within the same episode. The writing is so bad that the character ability appears out of the blue and disappears right afterwards to fulfill the story’s requirement.
Our future companion  Emmrich is introduced in this episode.
Episode 8:
youtube
This Episode starts in Nevarra and continues in Miranthous, making a stroll through the Fade.
The main demon of this story is called Maeror [????], not a human emotion in common, as always happened in every single demon shown in DA games and books . Instead they picked a Latin word for "grief, lamentation". Apparently this demon has been following Nadia since a child and he “marked” her , explainign why she was always a cold-heart and aggressive person [Christian demon-like, not DA lore demon]. It’s also implied that she may have accepted him as a child, since she “embraced darkness” [so, in this mess, the authors are telling us that Nadia was always marked but not possessed, but later she was XD how anyone can take these things seriously?]. This demon tortured her all her childhood, somehow “lost her”, and then he re-found her when the Eye exploded. He “killed” but also “possessed” Elio [the inconsistency with its own story is stunning], then corrupted a Templar who he possessed too [remember the Templar immediately changed targets: from chasing Bellara, he started to chase Nadia], and somehow, he again retook Elio’s body [???]. All this process had as a goal to reach her and “possess” her and claims that when he possessess her body, he will not alter his ability of being an Altus Mage [?? what?] even though he would be in another body [a non-magical one with non-Altus abilities]. To half-justify this, the demon claims that Elio’s body is dying [?] because “all the energy and lyrium of the Fade” [??? WTF?]. Since the authors don’t understand that DA demons feed upon human emotions, it’s impossible to understand this demon, since it doesn’t behave like a DA demon but a Christian demon. An entire episode proving that nobody from Bioware truly cared about this.
Again, the lack of lore knowledge of the authors and the disdain of Bioware in taking a careful look of these episodes put us in a complicated position to understand how to fit this in DA lore.
Neve claims that the anomalies are getting worse. This detail makes us suspect these podcasts are closer to the point where we start the game DA:tV, which makes Lucanis’ episode completely inconsistent. But who cares? The Authors and Bioware clearly not, lol.
Once more, the demon sings chants before possessing, because the authors have a Christian concept of a demon. “(distorted) (chanting) Energies of darkness, unburden the lost from their prisons of misery. Invoke our sacred Veil as we cross the barrier from one mind to the next.” [please, Sacred Veil!?]
Neve tells us about the terrible past of Tevinter and how hard it had it: in the Steel Age Qunari invaded Minrathous. Invasion is a big word: During the Steel Age Tevinter lost Par Vollen to the Qunari, and the Qunari invaded Rivain and Antiva, taking control of Treviso. They were even reaching the Free Marches. Miranthous never was invaded even though Tevinter minor cities around it were compromised and some attacks to the main city were made [similar situation in which Veilguard is]. This is an event called the Qunari Wars [Book of World of Thedas]. Again, the writing is so bad that it explicitly says that one of the big scars that these attacks left on Tevinter was the “collapse of a catacomb” [???] and the leaders of the moment never considered them worthy to fix them. Only Liberati go there to commit suicide [??] when in the beginning of the episode we were told that they used these catacombs as households. Inconsistencies within the same story.
Suddenly we have a found family trope with a lot of characters that were barely met hours ago, or in the case of Drayden or Harding, had some few weeks of knowing each other very shallowly. The level of Marvel movie-like bad dialogues and situations here is incredibly immersion-disruptive.
“NEVE: With that portal he opened, I'm going to tap directly into the Fade and fill this entire chamber with a disruption field”. Neve became a Rift mage out of the blue [??].
Our future companion  Neve is introduced in this episode.
Personal Conclusions:
These episodes are highly unreliable as source of lore and characterization of the companions, since it has shown that even their original characters are written out of character when they need the story to go in some direction.
Everything is so interconnected that makes feel Thedas as a small world. There was no need for Nadia or Elio to exist, and to make every companion connected through them. An episode of each companions showing us a bit of their daily life would have been enough.
The writing is bad, and considering the portfolio of the authors, it’s focused on marvel product series, with bad, unbelievable, and very convenient stories and characters, where facts are told instead of being shown. All this, so alien to Bioware narrative style, is immensely disruptive for the narration.
The level of sound quality was marvellous, as well as the VA of the companions.
I certainly will bury this and pretend it never existed, as I did with Absolution. These are product that show a need to sell a product instead of keep adding and expanding a rich world as it is Dragon Age.
These Podcasts, like Absolution, are not considered reliable sources of lore:

With a few second delay when deployed, sending out two types of signals, one focuses on electronics / non-radiants, shutting down any that are in use in its reach. While the other targets radiants, stopping any abilities either in use or to be used. Quick to wear off though.
Signature ability: Able to make a clone of any selected person while going invisible himself. The clone is weaker and more easily damaged than a normal person, and the destruction makes him visible again. Mainly used as a distraction or a get away tactic.
Ultimate ability: With the helmet connected to the Kingdom database this allows Replica to scan through everyone, able to select anyone to change into and use their radiant abilities, (Expands to unaffected people as well) at will his physical look will change to match. This does mean he has to learn how to use or at least control the chosen ability, as the drawbacks are worse for his body.
Strengths: Alert, conscientious, dutiful, industrious, persistent, practical, self manageable, resourceful, prideful
Weaknesses: Apathetic, self destructive, prideful, stubborn, bitter, envious, spiteful

Grew up in Amasra, Turkey, until the age of 7. That’s when the routine of moving due to his parent’s job started, moving around the world before settling down in Ontario, Thunder bay. Just before this Sabah was able to get a job at Kingdom, mainly supervising the research happening. On the day the collider was set to work the explosion happened, being trapped in a room right infront of it, escape wasn’t possible.
Trapped under rubble that took his sight and arm, he had to wait for someone to realise, being found just in time. Placed into a medically induced coma for a month, letting the body recover as much as possible before starting everything else. With his sight being nearly completely gone they worked on an android dog and a cane. Starting walking rehabilitation, continuing for nearly 3 months.
Tests during this time showed ‘unnatural’ changes, as he was so close to the explosion some of his DNA was changed. Specifically affecting his ‘human’ side, turning him into a radiant. But due to it being an artificial change, unlike the first light, the body couldn’t settle on one power, instead choosing all of them. (Copying)
With this change, Kingdom decided to rehire him, moving from a scientist to a field agent. Where his prosthetic arm and helmet was supplied. The helmet was created for him, giving him a game-like sight, (Grids / mapping) allowing him to do anything the others can.

10: Interpretation ethics
As an ex-Catholic, I spent a good amount of time in my teens thinking about how my personal ethics and rules on morality both differ from and sometimes agree with Catholicism. However, I haven’t really taken the time since  then to extend my personal ethics past post-Catholic discourse and relate it to my environmental values. I think it’s very valuable to be aware of your own ethical stances in terms of interpretation. Our ethics are the filter that shapes how we interpret nature, whether or not we acknowledge it. And that interpretation is then past on to our audience.
The first belief I bring to nature interpretation is kindness. Showing kindness to the nature around us means walking lightly and respectfully as we explore. Showing kindness to each other means creating a space where everyone feels able to ask questions and learn. I believe that kindness is one of the key elements that goes into creating a welcoming environment. And welcoming environments set up the possibility for growth and learning.
I also believe that curiosity and discovery lead to caring. It’s very difficult to care about something that you don’t know much about. But by encouraging questions, sharing facts/stories, and pointing out the beauty all around us, a nature interpreter can create connections between their audience and nature. In tandem with curiosity and discovery, is the power of awe. I want to get people excited about that cliff, that leaf, that creek. Wonder is a very powerful tool.
Tumblr media
Spent a very long time staring at this view awestruck when I visited Vancouver last summer
Interpretation also comes with many responsibilities. When you act as a nature interpreter, people are putting their trust in you to act responsibly in your role. The basis of this trust is safety. Like we learned from the Timiskaming Tragedy, a lot of things can go wrong in outdoor education spaces. Physical safety means being prepared for hazards, natural disasters and changing weather. But emotional safety also play an important role. Words have power. And that power can be used to harm others if wielded carelessly or irresponsibly. Sensitive topics have to be addressed with care and nuance. Your audience should feel welcome and included in the space you create, through the language used and interpretation employed.
I also think that nature interpreters have a responsibility to convey accuracy whenever possible. This is especially important when interpreting for children, who may not have the skills to properly fact-check your claims. Adult audiences also deserve access to well researched and meaningful information. Working as a nature interpreter means positioning yourself as an expert, and your audience is placing their trust in you to know what you are talking about. I believe in putting in the time and effort to research a topic fully before you share it with others.
There are several interpretation approaches that work best for me as an individual. And those approaches vary greatly by age group. For kids, who often have short attention spans, I think that exploration and games work best. Exploration allows kids to experience nature on their own terms and form a more personal relationship with the world around them. It also allows for the reintroduction of unstructured play that is missing from many kids lives. Giving kids a magnifying glass and a simple objective (eg. “Find as many colour as you can!”) gives them the opportunity to look closer at their surroundings and discover something new.
Games are also a powerful tool for interpretation. Minds often wander during lengthy explanation, but games keep kids focused and their attention on the task at hand. They can also help simplify complex topics and break them down into bite sized pieces. As an example, at my summer job last year, I ran a workshop for 10–12 year-olds who were planting a pollinator garden at their school. I wanted to convey the importance of building new pollinator habitat and introduce them to the concept of habitat fragmentation. So, I created a game that was kind of a mashup of musical chairs and shrinking islands. I placed picnic blankets (“habitats”) on the floor and told the children to pretend to be their favorite pollinator. As the music played, they could fly around, and when it stopped, they needed to find a habitat to stand on. As the game progressed, the habitats kept getting smaller and smaller as I folded down the picnic blankets to represent habitat destruction. Near the end of the game, we added another picnic blanket to represent the new habitat the students were creating. The game showed the students the importance of their garden, while also engaging them with the power of fun.
For adults, I think the best approaches for me to use are storytelling and writing. Stories have staying power, and also allow people to come to their own conclusions in a very fluid way. If I tell you about how I tried (and failed) to stop a park tree from being cut down when I was in the second grade, the take home message can be very different depending on how I spin the story and your own personal beliefs. You might walk away thinking about the importance of urban trees, the emotional bonds kids form with nature, or how privilege impacts how people engage with activism.
Tumblr media
Article from The Stoney Creek News
From a personal standpoint, I think that writing is an approach that I am very drawn to. I enjoy the act of writing and like that I can fine-tune my words until I am satisfied. Evocative language can really come alive on the page, and writing allows lots of space for larger ideas to be explored. And, as a creative writing and ecology student, writing about nature in an interpretive way seems like the natural way to blend my two areas of study.
I know that my personal ethic will continue to develop and change as I grow as an interpreter. I’m looking forward to adding more nuance and challenging my own perspective.

I AM IN LOVE W YOUR WRITING???? SOMEHOW???????? I eat it and leave no single word behind
I'm just like, so sososoososos sorry if you aren't taking requests- but I always wondered what would it be like for the welcome home crew to have a king dice like reader around? The reader lives deep into the forest and just one day comes across the neighbourhood, but someone sees them, and they just run away not wanting to interact with the eye-killing coloured creatures.
They have a 20s/casino aesthetic and is pretty much a smug bastard, but also funny and elegant, very good at board games and gambling in general!
(they can be another neighbour or a villain, whatever fits better!!! you can search up more info if you'd like-)
(I’ve got a brief knowledge of King Dice and what he plays a role in the game but I’ve never seen the gameplay or anything. Which I’m a little sad about I feel like I would like it, but oh well I hope this is acceptable for you, Darling 🫶🏼)
Tumblr media
You live in the neighborhood of welcome home, you’re all about fairness, you love when everyone is treated equally and fairly. You solve your problems with a deal and negotiation is your strong suit. You’re friendly and overall fair…unless you-
€#3@+
Anyways, just how you came to be a resident at the colorful neighborhood is quite a big misunderstanding.
~~flash back~~
It was a peaceful day in the neighborhood, Barnaby is playing a soft tune on a small guitar while Wally relaxes agains a tree holding an apple in his backyard.
Poppy opens her window as she sets a pie on the windowsill smiling and waving at Frank when he walks by holding a camera. “Good afternoon, Frank.”
“Hey, Poppy! The pie smells good.”
Eddie fixing his hat and closing his shop’s door waving at Howdy, who’s organizing the fruit on the front of the store. “Evening!”
Everything is just like any other day, nothing can ruin this day. Not a single-
“Go, go, go!”
“Don’t rush me, Sally! This is your fault!”
Oh no. What could possibly gone wrong? The crew was asking the question when they hear Sally and Julie yelling and running out the woods behind the horned puppet, followed by dark grey clouds and the booming and rumbling sound of a thunderstorm.
“Guys? What happened? Why is there a storm following you?”
“That’s all good questions, Barnaby and I would love to-“
“No time!” Sally cuts Julie off and pulls both her and the clueless Barnaby towards the middle of the neighborhood. Where everyone heard the commotion and rushed to investigate.
However before anyone could ask anything you slowly but angrily stomp your way into the neighborhood.
Frank was the first to react to you. “Did you make a deal with Y/n?!”
Julie shakes her head rapidly as she whimpers at the flashing lightning hugging Sally’s arm a bit tighter. The star puppet blows a raspberry at Frank. “Don’t be silly..!”
“Then what-“
“I cheated a deal with Y/n..”
“Sally..!!” Both Frank and you yell out, even though your voice surpasses franks as the dark clouds form a big monster like creature.
“What do we do?” Eddie asks, keeping the others behind him, looking up at the cloud monster.
“I have no idea! I thought Y/n was a myth.” Frank yelps and dodges a strike of lightning, jumping closer to Eddie.
“Why not admit you cheated?” Wally asks, calm as ever, holding his apple closer to him.
Everyone looks over at sally who flinches when she caught them staring. She glances behind her but doesn’t see anyone she points at herself when she glances back at her friend.
“Yes, you, sally!” Julie glares which quickly melts into fear when the dark clouds start surrounding everyone and creeping closer. “Ah! Sally just admit it!”
“That’s like admitting defeat! No way!” Sally pouts and crosses her arms.
“If you need to cheat you’ve already admitted defeat before the game begins so what’s your argument?” Frank retorted with a deadpanned expression.
Sally goes to argue but Julie and poppy yell when the cloud moves faster, the electricity flowing through it. Seeing her friends at the verge of danger the star puppet swallows her pride and turns to the big cloud monster with a determined look.
“Hey! Cloud monster, I have something to say!”
“Hurry, Sally!” Howdy calls over as he picks up Julie and Wally to make room and protect them.
The cloud monster roars toward sally, now turning its attention to her.
Sally balls up her fist and takes a deep breath then raising her hand to cup her mouth. “I cheated, I admit it!!”
A snap of a finger was heard, and the clouds slowly disappear. From the light clouds you make yourself visible and the neighborhood could finally see you.
You see, there’s a myth that on the top of the hill there’s a playful spirit. A spirit that loves to play games, but be careful which game you play and the rules they set. Play attention to their rules for they loathe tricksters and cheaters.
Gracefully walking towards Sally, your dress shoes giving a satisfying click with every step and your elegant tailcoat flowing behind you. Despite the elegance a smug twinkle sparks in your eyes as you look at Sally. “You admit it.”
Your voice is smooth and soft yet holds some sassy-ness and smugness into it. You move to her eye level and slightly smirk. “I’ll consider forgiveness. If you apologize.”
“What?”
“Apologize.” You hiss. Your eyes narrowing.
Sally pouts, now not fazed by the glare and sighs deeply. “Fine…I apologize for cheating.”
“Good. We’re friends now.”
~~Flash back to present.~~
That was long ago, and not like, two ish, give or take months. Everyone loves having you a part of the neighborhood, despite your temper and weird dislike for unfaithfulness in someone’s ability to play a game, you’re actually not that bad to hang around, you’re peacefully enjoying this game of monopoly with your friends at a sleepover—
“No! I refuse!”
Wally shakes his head and rubbing his temple at Julie’s protest when she landed on Burnaby’s property and won’t pay because he’s in ‘jail’.
“Julie you landed on his property you have to pay him the 200.” You said calmly, your smug smirk never leaving your lips as you lean your chin against your hand.
Julie stop for a bit, looking at you with a deadpanned expression, one that doesn’t face you. “But he’s in jail! You think imma give my hard earned money to a criminal!”
“That’s not how you play…Julie.” Frank sighs with exhaustion at this game dragging on and your smirk grows at his patience running thin.
“I didn’t even do anything? I just landed on the ‘go to jail’ spot. What’s that? Like—a ticket or something?” Barnaby scratches his head in confusion as Frank shakes his head and sighs again. Eddie, poppy and Howdy already fast asleep and gave up this game a long time ago.
“It doesn’t matter! Just give him the money!”
“N/n why do they keep yelling?” Wally asks as he takes the warm cup you hand over him to hold as you shrug your shoulders.
“No idea. Maybe if we wait longer enough they’ll get physical.” You rub your hands together, liking the idea of the heated ‘argument’ getting physical. You’re not a bad person! You would do anything to stop this argument if it were 100 percent serious, but this is a friendly game and banter. They’ll be fine.
“You know what? I can’t, I don’t wanna play anymore.” Frank crosses his arms and looks away from the board.
“Wha-FranFran you can’t quit the game, we havent made a single turn.”
“Julie…”
“Yes, Frank?”
“You’re the reason why we haven’t completed a turn!”
Yup, you wouldn’t have it any other way. You giggle at the interaction before glancing at the reader and smirking a give, sharped teeth grin.
“Shh.”

All fun and games / Ghost x Soap
Kinktober #12 - Costumes
Why the hell did he agree to this? Oh, right, because Soap promised to give him the best head of his life if he joined him for a LARP. The things Ghost would do for good sex, right? Well, it was more about what he’d do to make Johnny grin the same way he did when he watched one of his expertly designed fireworks go off.
“Remember, you’re dark elf going by Ghost, you’re a rogue, so… no stealth, cloak and dagger, maybe a crossbow or something like that. It’s right up your alley!” Soap rambles, clearly excited, while he affixes fake pointy ears on Ghost. Ghost, who looks very unimpressed by the whole getup. The clothes Soap made him wear are vaguely historical but more in that eye-candy pop culture way. There’s a lot of leather, useless trinkets, and gratuitous lace-ups. He looks beyond ridiculous. Especially since the daggers are made of foam, and the crossbow looks like a toy. It probably is.
The exasperated sigh cannot fully belay the level of Ghost’s embarrassment as Soap clasps a cape on him. Nobody can ever catch a whiff of this, or he would never live it down.
“There you go, fucking brilliant LT!” Soap whistles as he looks Ghost up and down.
“So, if I’m an… elf…,” Ghost says but is interrupted.
“Dark elf! It’s important!” Soap corrects him.
“Whatever. What are you?”
Soap puffs with pride, and Ghost immediately regrets he’s asked. He knows this look. It’s the “prepare for a fucking nerd-out” look.” Soap smiles wide, smoothing his own clothes that look much more normal than Ghost’s. Just a linen shirt with a lace-up, of course, and what looks like some very old-school type of kilt. It’s simple, but it suits him. That’s perhaps the only reason why Ghost didn’t pull off a Houdini already. The sight of Johnny and the prospect of Ghost bending him over by the end of the night, tucking the kilt up and fucking him senseless. He can imagine it so vividly that it takes Soap to jab him in the ribs to get his attention. “Yer not even listenin’!”
“Sorry,” Ghost says, even though he’s not.
“’S fine, just remember, whatever you do, you gotta stay in character.”
“Like undercover?”
“Aye! Exactly! Ye ken… just… let’s say this is a mission. The objective is to find a certain item. We dinnae ken what is it, where it is, or who knows aboot it. The only way to get it is to pretend we’re someone else.”
“I understand,” Ghost nods, suddenly much more at ease with the whole thing.
They walk out of the tent and are greeted by a large group of… individuals. The costumes range from extravagant and colourful to clearly repurposed items from granny’s closet. There are a few people in armour, too. Ghost feels somehow comfortable in his role. It’s not that different to what he usually does for a living, after all, and thankfully, Johnny does most of the talking as a charming charlatan and a gifted alchemist.
Some good negotiation and pointed intimidation later, they’re much closer to their objective. Ghost has to admit that he’s having a bit of fun. Especially once another group of players attempts to steal Soap’s notes containing all the clues they’ve gathered so far. The skirmish ends before it even begins in earnest. Ghost is holding back a lot, obviously, but he still outmanoeuvres and overpowers their opponents easily, while Soap stands back, looking almost bored. He has made Ghost his bodyguard of sorts, not that Ghost really minds.
Once they go through the loot, they’re rewarded with a vital piece of information they’ve been missing. It’s time to get their prize.
The powerful artefact they’re after is well-hidden and well-secured. Which means it’s booby-trapped to high-heaven. Ghost disarms the tripwires and pressure plate, and just as he’s about to make another step, Soap stops him. “Don’t move!”
Ghost freezes instantly; it’s the same deeply ingrained reaction he’d have in the field. Soap comes up to him, inspecting the area just in front of them. Unclasping a pouch with some alchemical ingredients from his belt, he pours a bit of bright orange sand into his palm and throws it into the air, revealing a few laser beams. “Well, looks like a magic trap. Let me deal with that.”
Soap looks right in his element as he takes out various trinkets, including a small mirror. With some clever refraction, they manage to pass, only to be met with another test. They can already see the chest, but there’s a letter lock on it. There’s also a piece of creatively half-burned paper with an overly ornate and somehow ominous message. Johnny reads it out loud: “Only those with the heart of Gold deserve to see the power I hold. Well, that’s a riddle. The key to the lock is a word, five letters.”
Ghost fiddles with the lock. “I could force it open.”
“That would be boring. Give me a second.” Johnny hums, thinking hard. Then… “It can’t be that easy… can it?” With a doubtful look, he slides the dials until it spells “Aurum”—the lock clicks.
As soon as Johnny takes the obscenely large and obviously fake ruby out of the chest, Ghost grabs him from behind and presses him against his chest just as he pretends to stab him in the back with the fake dagger.
“Ghost! What the… oh no…,” Johnny trails off as the realisation dawns on him. “You traitorous shit!” Soap does a bit of a show of going down, slowly bucking his knees and sliding from Ghost’s grasp. Ghost tries for semi-convincing acting, kneeling next to Soap as he gently pries the artefact from his hands.
“I’m sorry, darling, but you know what they say: never turn your back to a dark elf,” Ghost lowers his head and kisses him goodbye.
Once Ghost claims his prize and after a short but grand ceremony of naming him the ruler of the land – until the next year - they return to the small lodge and their rented room. Johnny is silent the whole way back, but once the door closes and they’re alone, he speaks up. “Ye bastard! Ye eejit! I brought ye with me so ye would help me win!”
“What can I say, Johnny? There can only be one,” Simon deadpans as he holds up the sceptre, marking him a king. He will return it to someone from the organisation team tomorrow.
Soap stares at him with a bloody murder in his eyes as he points an accusing finger at him. “Was that… did ye just… did ye quote a bloody Highlander, Ghost? Oh, that is low even for ye.”
Ghost’s smile is disgustingly smug as he sits down on the edge of the bed. “What’re you going to do about it, Johnny?”
He barely finishes the sentence before Soap is on him, straddling his lap, tilting his head and kissing him like a savage. It’s all teeth and tongue. “You’re lucky you look so good in all that leather.”
Ghost smirks, sliding his hands up Johnny’s bare thighs under the kilt. “I was wondering…” his hand slides higher, feeling nothing but warm skin.
“Of course, you were,” Soap chuckles. “Could feel you staring at my arse for the better part of the day. But with the shit you’ve pulled, I think I’ll revoke your rights to it. Your majesty.”
“You know, with all the magical power I now have, I guess I could resurrect you, make you my prince consort or whatever,” Ghost suggests, caressing the soft skin but making no further move.
“Bargaining now, Ghost?” Soap cocks an eyebrow, pretending to think hard about it. “But…” he trails a finger along the laces of Ghost’s trousers, “I’m feeling generous tonight.” It goes without saying that he’s also horny.
Ghost lets himself be pushed down to the mattress, lets Johnny kiss him, and opens up to his tongue. He’s still holding him, kneading the muscles on Soap’s thighs, enjoying the fact that he doesn’t have to hassle with trousers to get what he wants. As an added bonus, his cock twitches every time he reminds himself that Johnny spent the whole day walking around commando.
Johnny’s mouth moves to Ghost’s jawline, to his neck, on which he sucks dutifully. One of the perks of Ghost’s renown is that he can parade around with love bites, and nobody dares say a thing. Soap would never admit to it, but he enjoys the privilege more than he probably should.
Ghost groans and smacks the back of Johnny’s thighs. “Give it a rest, you vampire.”
Johnny laughs, sits back and tucks Ghost’s shirt up, dragging his blunt nails across the scars all the way from his chest to the waistline of his trousers. Soap licks his lips, deliberate with the gesture so Ghost would notice. He does, and he’s had quite enough of the foreplay.
Johnny laughs as Ghost manhandles him to switch their position. Now it’s Johnny’s turn to lay on his back with Ghost looming over him, brown eyes dark and hungry. Soap bends one knee, feeling the thick tartan slide down, revealing a lot of skin. He can also feel the leather, warmed by Ghost’s body heat, and it makes him buckle his hips, seeking at least a little bit of friction. Honestly, he’s so hard it almost hurts.
Simon, to his credit, possibly feels at least a little bit bad about betraying Johnny earlier because he doesn’t tease him like he normally would. Instead, he sneaks a hand under Johnny’s kilt, brushing against his prick.
Simon chuckles at Johnny’s sharp intake of breath. “Well, this is convenient.”
The smugness leaves him as soon as Johnny retaliates; the lace-up is much easier and faster to undo than buttons and a zipper. Simon presses into Johnny’s palm as soon as it slips into his trousers. Soon enough, it’s not enough for either of them. Johnny slides Ghost’s trousers and underwear lower, and Simon lowers himself to slot their cocks together before closing his hand around them. The hold is loose at first but tightens after a few languid thrusts. Soap moans, enjoying the fact that they’re not on the base and he can be louder than usual.
Simon hums appreciatively as he kisses Johnny on the neck, worrying the sensitive skin between his teeth. Soap sighs, holding Simon close and rolling his hips in time with Simon’s lazy strokes. Soap tries to urge Simon on, but the only reaction is a muffled laugh and a thumb flicking over his cock-head, making him gasp.
What started as luxurious soon turned into torturous. The need to move and chase the pleasure is overwhelming, but Simon seems dead-set on making Johnny suffer in the most delicious way possible, ignoring the whimpers and jolts as Johnny squirms, trying to get what he wants. “Come on, Simon!”
“Patience, Johnny,” Simon smiles against his quickened pulse, licking along his ear. “Or do you want us to ruin your kilt?”
Johnny’s breath hitches as he’s momentarily thrown off by Simon’s words. He recovers quickly. “Fuck yes.”
“Alright then,” Simon finally concedes, loosening his grip a fraction to allow Johnny to fuck into his hand and against his prick. The slide is smooth, eased by the pre-cum. Simon raises his head, looking at Johnny, who looks at him in turn. Stormy-blue of his eyes dark, brows knit together, and mouth slightly agape in a mixture of desperation and pleasure. He could see this a thousand times and never tire of it.
A moan escapes Simon, a rare occurrence, but he lets it slide. They’re well away from the base, safe from the regulations. The way Johnny’s cock slides against his own, hard, hot and wet, drives him nuts. Without even realising it, he starts to match Soap’s pace.
Despite the pace, the tension in both of them rises gradually. There’s no stress, unlike their quick shags in the storage rooms around the base. No risk of being discovered and punished. Instead of focusing on keeping quiet and stilling every time there are footsteps approaching, they can focus on each other and the sensations.
Ghost’s hips stutter as he loses himself in the feeling of Johnny under him, the sound of his moans, his heavy breathing, and the feeling of his nails digging into Simon’s back. Ghost tightens his grip around both of them as he comes, powerful pulses wrecking his body, making him skip a breath as he spills over his hand and Soap’s cock and soils the precious kilt in the process.
Johnny is quick to follow, spurred by the feeling of Ghost’s release. He manages a few more thrusts, making Simon gasp as he ruts against his oversensitive cock, before he arches into Simon, generously contributing to the mess between them. He feels light, which is a bit absurd, considering Simon is still lying on top of him like a dead weight. Soap doesn’t mind; somehow, it’s soothing and grounding him in the moment.
“Do you think I could convince Price to let you wear leather while we’re on the base?” Johnny asks after a few minutes of silence.
“No, but I want to see you try,” Ghost smirks. “You know, I might take a look if it’s permitted to wear a kilt while on duty.”
“It is,” Soap replies without hesitation. “Not in the field; not officially, but otherwise, it’s permitted.”
Ghost hums, a clear idea forming in his head.

Get to know me better!
Tumblr media
Alias / Name: Jassi - some people call me Jas or Jazz, I remember early on a friend just started me calling 'Jassi' as a nickname and it stuck.
Birthday: November 22nd.
Zodiac Sign: My birthday is a weird day for Zodiac signs - some sources will swear I'm a Scorpio, others will say I'm a Sagittarius - I guess personality-wise I'd align closer to Scorpio but it's tough to say.
Height: Haven't been measured since like high school gym class lol but I'd say 5'0.
Hobbies: Writing, reading, role-playing games, puzzles, model kits.
Favourite Colour: I've always liked blue especially light blue - sky blue. I also really like any colour that's like a cyan or turquoise or aquamarine.
Favourite Book: Currently, Blue Lock - I've been obsessed with it since last Christmas and seeing the movie has only kind of intensified that lmao.
Last Song: Stormy by Nissiy x SKY-HI.
Last Movie / Show: I had the dumbass idea last night to start a movie at like 1am so I had to pause it and sleep but I got halfway through The King of Comedy, as for last show I think it would be Delicious in Dungeon since I was streaming it with a friend.
Recent Read: Haven't read anything terribly recently but there's a lot of great manga volumes coming out this month.
Inspiration: I kind of take inspiration from all around me as opposed to one person or a thing - it's hard to explain, but I just feel like my head is always bouncing around with plot ideas or things Ryuji would like. Inspiration has always just come naturally to me.
Story Behind Your URL: When I rebooted my blog a few years ago and decided to come back to Tumblr after a year long hiatus I was agonizing over a new URL - picking a new URL as well as working on a theme are probably two of my least favourite parts of Tumblr and a friend threw out the suggestion - it's a play on the words 'electricity' and was clever, in my opinion, so I give them full credit.
Fun Fact: Uh, I like turtles? (Both the animal and the chocolate - lol sorry I'm really bad of thinking of fun facts on the fly.)
Tagged by: @scarlxtleaves (Thank you - was cool getting to read yours and get to know you a bit as well!)
Tagging: Honestly I'd be happy to get to know any one of you better so feel free to steal this from me and give your answers!

hello :D! i'm curious that with the quagmires being your favorite characters, do you have headcanons for them, pre and/or post canon?
Hiya! :) I have SO MANY hcs about them so thanks for asking!!!! :D
Pre-canon relationship dynamic:
Quigley was closer to Isadora than to Duncan before the fire although he still was really close to Duncan too. I mainly think this bc in ‘The Slippery Slope’ Quigley mentioned Isadora on her own a few times, even quoting a couplet she wrote, whereas he only mentioned Duncan when talking about both of his siblings.
In order of most to least mischievous growing up I feel like it’d go Quigley, then Isadora and lastly Duncan.
Games/How the triplets would play when they were young:
Duncan: Would grab any random object of *aproximately* the right size (could be one of his mother’s shoes or it could be a spatula) and pretend it was a microphone. He’d follow people around “reporting” (more so narrating, really) what they were doing. This would REALLY annoy Isadora bc the worst thing when having writer’s block would be to have someone right beside you describing how you “stare blankly at a page in anguish. No inspiration detected for at least another treacherous week”.
Quigley: Strikes me as the kind of guy to climb trees, regardless of age tbh. He just has the vibe.
He would build forts at EVERY opportunity. Duncan once challenged him to build one in every room of the mansion and he almost did, with the exception of his parents’ office which was always locked.
He’d also draw loads. His drawing of a cave in TSS was described as an “elegant rendering” so I imagine he started doing art young. He’d get too passionate with a box of crayons and end up snapping most of them though. For his sixth birthday he’s gifted one of those pencils with multiple colours in the led and somehow angles it so that all the purple is used up first.
Isadora: She’d write plays for her+her siblings to perform for their parents+their parents’ friends that had surprisingly dark plot lines, especially for a 7 year old. Oh, and all the lines would rhyme, of course. She’d get annoyed when people read the script and asked if it was all one long song rather that the masterpiece of poetry she intended it to be perceived as.
Quigley would really enjoy acting in her plays+pour his heart and soul into the performance. Duncan would get really excited about it and do great when practicing with just the three of them but when it came to the actual performance he’d get shy+back out meaning Quigley or Isadora have to fill in for his role.
🎃 Halloween:
For Halloween one year, Isadora thought it’d be an amazing idea to dress up as Evelyn the conjoined twin bc she loved the song ‘Evelyn Evelyn’ based on her but Quigley found their story too depressing and Duncan didn’t like that it meant one of the triplets would get left out. Quigley suggests ‘Alvin and the chipmunks’ as a group costume earning instant “no”s from his siblings. They end up dressing in individual costumes based off historical figures (A poet, an investigative journalist and an explorer) but create their own story involving time-travel that connects the 3 characters.
Isadora loves Halloween as she is a goth(headcannon) so it really goes with her vibe. Quigley takes information about monsters/spooky creatures like vampires or werewolves and uses it to decide on which part of the world would be best for them to inhabit. Duncan then uses Quigley’s theories to research newspaper articles from the area, searching for any sign of the creatures.
Style/Fashion sense 🌟🧥
Duncan 📰:
Comfy green jumpers/sweaters or sweater-vests, white short-sleeved dress shirts and dress trousers/pants. (Pre-canon)
Comfy green polo-neck jumpers and (usually brown) corduroy pants/trousers and either dark green or white high top shoes. (Post-canon) Occasionally wears neatly applied eyeliner. The slight change in style is bc Duncan doesn’t want to wear clothes that feel so similar to a school uniform after spending so much time with those as his only clothes at Prufrock. He’ll occasionally wear hoodies but not if he’s to be seen in public.
Owns a few T-shirts with Dorothy Parker quotes which he cherishes and wears daily, even if they can’t be seen under the jumper/sweater. One quote he’d have is: “The first thing I do in the morning is brush my teeth and sharpen my tongue”
Isadora+Quigley once bought him a quirky reporter’s hat with a feather in it as a joke but Duncan ended up adoring it; convincing himself it gave him an extra boost of inspiration when writing articles. 🪶
Has a Polaroid camera looped round his neck 📸
Quigley 🗺:
Initially, he struck me as a rucksack guy but I was reading over TSS yesterday and discovered he canonically uses a totebag, “I was putting an atlas in a totebag I found”-Quigley Quagmire (‘The Slippery Slope’ Chapter 8, page 148) so technically that’s a canon not a headcanon but oh well 🙃
Wears clothes more so for practicality than for style, although if he has a choice he’ll get things in dark purple.
He’d wear cargo pants bc of all the pockets; this would inspire Isadora to write a poem titled ‘Two and a half’ about a scientist who was trying to clone someone twice but messed up, resulting in one of the copies (Quigley) having no legs.
He would also wear a jacket with tonnes of pockets bc it’s practical for the explorer’s life he leads plus it looks cool. Although, it looks a little less cool when he stitches on a hood with fabric that doesn’t even match.
He drew maps on a couple of T-shirts and wears those, unfortunately he has to redraw them every time they get washed.
Wears exclusively boots bc of their grip+durability, one boot would have purple laces and the boot on the other foot would have black laces bc the original lace got stuck in a thorn bush so he stole borrowed one of Isadora’s.
As for accessories; a compass on string looped round his neck, clips shoved in at random to keep hair from falling in his face as he climbs, a hat/beanie with pins on it
Also: Frayed fingerless gloves!!! I saw this in one of Quill’s art pieces of Quigley and like the idea immensely ( @lemonysnicket ) :))
Always has the most RANDOM items in his pockets; will reach in looking for a packet of gum and come out with binoculars.
Isadora 📜:
Goth.Goth.Emo.Goth.
Wears almost exclusively black: Black boots or high top converse (with doodles on the white toe bit in sharpie),
Wore black nail polish pre-canon. At Prufrock she improvises using black markers+pens on her nails. She once tried the same trick for mimicking eyeliner…it did not turn out well and Duncan brings it up at the WORST times.
Wears winged black eyeliner, smudged under the eyes.
Likes long swishy skirts (midi skirts). They’re sometimes a bit impractical but if she’s just spending the day writing poetry it’s fine. Otherwise she likes cuffed shorts with leggings underneath.
Violet once bought fishnet gloves bc she liked how they looked but gave them to Isa after they kept getting caught in her inventions. Isadora loves them even more bc they’re from Violet.
Has a really cool leather jacket but doesn’t wear it much bc she secretly worries that she isn’t cool enough for the jacket.
Has a T-shirt with all of Sappho’s poems printed out really small and arranged into a picture of Sappho herself. Quigley owns a similar one but his contains the bee-movie script.
Cooking abilities ranked🍳:
1: Quigley 🗺- he’s the best bc he had to cook for himself while “dead”. Granted, he did just eat canned peaches, toasted marshmallows, almonds and carrots but he had to find his own food anyway so that’s a start.
2: Isadora 📜- Her meals at Prufrock were cooked for her but it’s possible she had to cook for Duncan and herself at previous guardians. This task would fall on her as Duncan used to be afraid of stoves for a while after the fire
‘ “For a long time,” Duncan admitted, “I was afraid of any kind of fire. I didn’t even like to look at stoves.”’ -The Austere Academy, Chapter 3, page 47.
3: Duncan 📰- For the reason above and also bc he seems like the kind of guy who would mess up simple dishes by trying to apply extra information, “I read in a news article once about a famous chef who’d put mozzarella in porridge for extra flavour, let’s try that!” (Made-up quote)
Choice of stationary 🖊
Isadora: Fountain pen ✒️ bc it makes her poetry look fancy
Duncan: Biro bc it doesn’t smudge easily and he needs to writes down a lot of info quickly for his journalism 🖊
Quigley: Coloured biros bc they make maps easily decipherable+they don’t smudge easily which is useful for accuracy
In a modern AU Quigley has a 6 hour screen time average and it is ENTIRELY Google maps. Duncan listens to podcasts. Isadora’s Pinterest is made up completely of quotes.
Books/Literature 📚:
Apart from atlases, Quigley reads fantasy books with maps. He would adore books in the Grishaverse bc of this, especially obsessing over the canal system of Ketterdam which can be seen in detail in a map in ‘Crooked Kingdom’ by Leigh Bardugo. 📚 🧙‍♀️ However, with the Grisha triology (Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm + Ruin and Rising) he would be disappointed by how little the cartographer/ex-cartographer protagonist mentions maps.
Duncan would enjoy the ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ series due to the strategic, organised layout alongside Pip-the protagonist- ‘s note-taking skills. As Duncan aspires to be an investigative journalist he’d be enthralled by the investigations that are central in these books. He would annotate the books as he reads them; filling them with his own theories as well as highlighting important information.
The poem ‘Long Distance II’ by Tony Harrison doesn’t consist of rhyming couplets but I think Isadora would find its portrayal of grief powerful regardless of whether it’s in her preferred poetic format. Especially as it’s about the loss of family members.
Quigley would create his own fantasy map using tea-stained paper with rice spilled on it, drawing around the rice to get the outline of a country. He’d be really strategic about the details he draws though; having mountains before rivers so the water runs off of them etc. 🗺
Favourite Colours 🎨:
Isadora: Pitch black 🖤
Duncan: Dark green 💚
Quigley: Dark purple💜
(Bc of their notebooks 📓)
Thanks for the ask!! :) <3
I wasn’t sure what to include so I wrote quite a bit, this was me restraining myself tho. I think about the Quagmire triplets a LOT :). This is only the tip of the iceberg ;)! :) I also have kind of detailed hcs about injuries the triplets would have after the eagle fight if u want to hear about that.
Please send more asks if you like! You can be as specific as you like, especially if it’s about the Quagmires! :D
