I don't think telling children's whose sense of empathy and morality is fully developed "people who are bad to you deserve to suffer" is the best idea either

it is crazy how “if this childrens show doesn’t kill their villain at the end it’s irredeemable media” became such a popular opinion here. like people were calling steven universe fascist apologia. and to be clear I don’t even think that would be the case for non childrens media, either. perhaps holding every single story up to the same standard of “does it follow the acceptable narrative path or is it evil propaganda” isn’t the most anti-fascist thing, either. maybe.

for anyone too young to know this: watching The Truman Show is a vastly different experience now, compared to how it was before youtube and social media influencers became normal

before it was like, "what a horrifying thing to do to a human being! to take away their autonomy and privacy, all for the sake of profits! to create fake scenarios for them to react to, just to retain viewership! to ruin their happiness just so some corporate entity could harvest money from their very humanity! how could anyone do something so evil?"

For the humans that still have a heart, humans are burning and children are being beheaded from airstrikes in a sea of burning tents in Rafah. 40 fake beheaded babies got more sympathy and care then real Palestinian babies who have been beheaded for the past 8 months from brutual airstrikes. sorry but the one headcanon I do not believe for jayvik is them having kids. at most they adopt a teenager (as is Zaunite tradition) as like an apprentice. Jayce’s body count literally started with a child and the percentage of people he’s killed (accidentally or on purpose) includes more. Viktor probably killed like 20 plants using the hexcore for testing. in fact, the hexcore literally only saved one person and that person was him. they might hate kids they might love kids but those two are incapable of keeping anything but each other alive and even they’re bad at that.
