#🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁😭😭#spoilers here for the series obviously it’s kind of old news but really if you haven’t seen it you should see it blind #i love how the ending comes full circle. with homura barely being responsible for what happens. it’s once again her only being able to watch #as madoka selflessly sacrifices herself to save everyone. it’s almost as if everything homura went for was for naught. and of course that’s #not the full story what madoka does is very important. she saves everyone. and without homuras time loop madoka would never have been #charged with that much power #and yet. it’s once more homura standing by scared and confused. not able to do anything but watch as madoka dies in front of her to save her #and everybody else. and then it’s even worse because homura is now the only person who knows this even happened. and in the end homura will #remember that month she relived who knows how many times the countless months she spent trying to save madoka only for her to be unable to #save her in the end #its. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️this fucking. story #its just. it feels so bittersweet that even though the cycle of suffering is ended and madoka has created a peaceful world for magical girls #in the end homura is right back where she started. unable to save madoka #sniff 😢#madoka🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

Kingdom Hearts 3 - Rage Form

#kingdom hearts 3 #kh3 #sora #rage form #arendelle #formchange #my gif #rage form is so intriguing #sora still behaves in a wild animalistic fashion similar to his anti form but it's different #anti form felt as if he relinquished all self control and acted strictly on instinct just like a heartless #he used to run around hunched over on all fours and fight tooth and claw with reckless abandon #but here you can at least see SOME semblance of who he is. he's able to wield his keyblade while in this form which is pretty major #he still fights in an absolutely chaotic and primal manner but it feels evolved #the big difference is you call upon rage form at will. he channels his rage and darkness in a desperate last resort to stay alive #which is very significant but he still loses some control like the ability to use of magic; items; shotlocks; etc #it's cool to see darkness used in this way but i really want sora to able to explore themes of darkness within himself in future games #i want these to be more than cool forms with fun gameplay. i want them to have implications that something dark is brewing and needs to be-#brought to the surface and tackled head on because we've never seen anyone capable of cloaking themselves in darkness in such a way #take riku's dark form for example. he's in control and he's very much still himself. it's entirely different #on another note i'm now thinking about how hp is fully restored when activating rage form but you have the choice to give it up again-#when using risk charge. it'll increase attack damage but you're still walking a dangerous line in the pursuit of power

you know, I actually think the moment byleth steps in front of that blow meant for edelgard, an action that changes EVERYTHING about their fate, really is monumental, especially after warriors came out and added context

you have this mercenary who’s known for being stone cold, emotionless, and who can annihilate entire mercenary camps in minutes blank faced, as we saw with shez - by all means, they should never, WOULD never take a blow like that so carelessly for someone they don’t even know, much less with such an angry, determined expression - and yet.

the game draws some clear parallels between byleth and edelgard, and in all routes they have a connection that seems unbreakable - all of this starts at that very moment, when the merciless demon gets swept by a wave of emotion so strong that they throw rationality out of the window.

idk, one of my favourite fe3h analyses mentions the ‘literal divine intervention triggered by edelgard’ and that’s exactly what that moment is. not even because of sothis, but because that’s exactly when byleth takes their first step towards humanity and their freedom - i honestly think that byleth only fully regaining their humanity in crimson flower is the only outcome that makes sense, since that’s exactly what we see in one of the first scenes in fe3h. excellent foreshadowing, I’d say
