I've been thinking of changing up my WH character's/persona's voice claim for a while now! So I wanted to hear your guys thoughts!! <3 which one do you like, or would you prefer I keep the original??

i gotta wait a bit before tweeting this on main because i don't want to make anyone feel bad but hearing dubs of my comics with cartoon beej......how do i put this. i think it's cool that people do that in the first place of course! but also like

can you......please....actually listen to his voice in the cartoon? 😭 he has a very recognizable voice but all i ever hear people do is this gruff deep voice that might fit moviejuice a lot better if you make him slur his words a little bit. cartoon beej is like eddy from eene but deep and gravelly BUT his voice can get really high sometimes. it's up and down. sometimes he sounds whiny. he's very loud too. it's not a constant deep voice.......begging VAs to watch more episodes and pay attention to his voice 😭😭😭

Now, I haven't actually listened to all that many audio drama podcasts in comparison to other podcast fans, but I really genuinely honest-to-god believe that as audio drama expands as a medium and if fiction podcasting gains mainstream attention that The Silt Verses will be held up as a groundbreaking example of what audio drama can be and as a show that pushed and expanded the boundaries of the medium. Even the roughness of the audio (mainly in season 1 but there are some messy bits throughout the show) I think is an indication of the show's sheer ambition and creative vision, running into the limitations and either pulling back in creative ways or breaking those boundaries. Like imo it's truly unmatched in audio drama productions right now. I've never heard anything like it before. The fandom is not the biggest compared to the really famous podcasts (though it is sizeable and growing!), but I hope that one day TSV gets the acclaim it deserves because it is really, really that good

The Reva/Vader parallels are killing me

Two people are walking out of the Tatooine desert, approaching the Lars' homestead.

Anakin has chosen revenge over mercy. He has murdered all the relatives of those responsable for his mother's death, including the children. However, despite having failed his family, both the Jedi and his mother, he doubles down on his actions "They were animals so I slaughtered them like animals.", and takes his first step towards the Darkness.

Reva has chosen mercy over revenge. She's been desperately chasing the son of her family's murderer for a long time in order to hurt him, to make him suffer, yet when she stands in front of Luke, she can only see a defenseless child, like she once was. She sobs, feeling like she has failed, and yet she has given her family peace, honored them. She has followed the Order's teachings, she has remembered lessons long forgotten, and Reva takes the first step on the path to return to the Light.

Reva, once again, proves that, no matter how much one has fallen, no matter what you've done, no matter what you've been through, you can make the right choice. It's never too late, no one's ever really gone.

kudos to evan for giving almost every one of his characters an accent (even if it's subtle) like he definitely could've gotten away with just using his regular voice for warren or peter but he doesn't! even jay has a certain cadence of speech that's not a part of the typical canadian accent. i really appreciate it bc i'm big on immersion in media and little stuff like this helps separate the character from the actor playing them (and makes the character feel more authentic too). so when you're watching it makes it a bit easier to not think "oh that's just evan peters in a silver wig" like no that's peter maximoff.
