Had to read this for a summer assignment, but I enjoyed it so much! Made me have to think alot but in a good way. Honestly want to reread it again but this time not under the pressure of an assignment lol. (Also I was at a loss for words when I reread Nekoma Blues by aritzen which is a personal kryk fic fav of mine, and saw that the anthology of Story of your life was mentioned in there! A very surreal moment lol.)

I'm the place that gives out full sized bars bc here's a few paragraphs from that one Undertale fic i have that crosses over with Mr Peabody and Sherman

The only warm family Chara had ever experienced had been full of well meaning busybodies. It was Asriel asking just WHY they were on the mountain before they were ready to say it and not just leaving well enough alone, speculating until Chara had to just say it to get him to stop. It was Toriel asking why Chara seemed so surprised when they'd been shocked over her quick and easy acceptance of Chara's pronouns and how they preferred to be seen. It was Asgore getting very very sad indeed because he'd sat them down and asked why they flinched when he reached over to pat their head.

So this was... weird.

For Sherman, and by extension the expectation that Peabody be the same, to just sort of... let it happen. If it wasn't important information, it was okay if they kept it to themselves when they were uncomfortable. And the Dreemurrs didn't push. Not really, but Toriel would look at them with such an 'undisguised worry' sort of look, and Asgore would keep saying that they could tell him anything in such a Beseeching tone... It was hard to actually keep anything to themself.

So it was kind of weird to have Sherman just shrug and go 'okay' when they said that they weren't comfortable talking about their biological family.

“Makes sense, I never knew my bio parents either.” was the most he said on the subject.

He was... weird.

Some rules:

I may or may not write smut? I'm not sure since I haven't really done it, but I will NOT write smut for characters under the age of 21

I won't write anything that has to do with the reader being super OP or being half of like, literally everything

When it comes to Y/N being an anthropomorphic animal/human or half of that, if stuff like that is canon in the fandom, then I'll write it (like a half human half monster for Undertale, or a Cat person for TMNT) but if stuff like that just doesn't exist in that world, then I most likely won't write it

I won't write a character being a racist, rapist, homophobic, transphobic or anything like that, those things are fucked up and aren't ok and that character I may write, might be someone else's comfort character and I don't want to ruin a character for someone

I won't write a character as being an abuser, sure, I could say they where abused some way in the past if it is relevant to the fic, but I will not write a character being an abuser themselves, that's just not right

I won't write yandere characters, it just feels to toxic to me to have someone be THAT possessive of someone

If a character is canonically underage, I will not age them up, if a reader or character is being romantically shipped with the underage character, the reader/character must and will be underage as well

(Keep in mind I might add rules or change certain rules)

I can do shipping fanfics! Although, it depends on the characters, but I may be able to write it, even if I don't entirely agree with the ship! AS LONG as it is not anything like AbuserXvictim or MinorXadult or anything like that.

As a writer, I hope that I may advance in my writing skills, as well as have fun with what I write, so, I ask as many requests as your heart's desire!

The Bird Photographer of the Year 2017 winners were recently announced, and they are a sight for sore eyes.

The competition receives thousands of entries from around the world and celebrates all things feathered. Now in its third year, the competition has become a very prestigious award amongst wildlife photographers and has been steaming ahead in popularity.

The top prize is $6,500, and this year that went to Overall Winner Alejandro Prieto Rojas, who shot the photo above titled “Feeding Flamingos.” It was the Gold prize winner of the “Best Portrait” category.
