WHERE'S MY HYUNJISU???#changing iconic deaths#taking out a lot of the found family#omg don't get me started i could rant for days#the manhwa is so important to me#and like i loved s1 don't get me wrong but the changes were so uncessary#and they passed a lot of the plots of characters onto their drama only character#which i liked her i did but they could've given her her own arc & story and not robbed from the others š#AND THE JISU ROBBERY THE WAY THEY SIDELINED MY GIRL FOR HER#and i'm like p sure they changed the reasoning behind why they become monsters#AND THE FACT HYUNJISU ISN'T A THING IT REALLY MESSESS UP THE WHOLE REASON WHY IT'S CALLED SWEET HOME#AND THE SONG!#anyways#i'm gonna go to sleep because i will rant for days#i never started s2 because i was not ready to see what more they would take from me lmfaooo

#Dungeon Meshi#laios touden#marcille donato#chilchuck tims#senshi#animation#game dev diary#Please give a huge hand to my coding partner#who labored for over two weeks to figure out how to implement reaction animation for the battle icons.#You may also notice that I updated the battle portraits from my previous post! New and (mostly) improved!#The death screens were not changed because I didn't think they'd get used for this video.#But Chilchuck getting one-shotted and leaving due to this being outside of his pay? Accidental comedy gold.#The full sprite (I didn't realize the bottom third would be hidden) says: āNOT PAID FOR THISā#And yeah he's smoking. He gets a smoke break as part of his contract. Let a guy have his vices. He's teetering on a divorce.#Dungeon Meshi would be a fun rpg in theory but it would need to have immersive mechanics like cooking and foraging.#And hunger and fatigue and other status effects.#A slightly more lighthearted fear and hunger sort of game.#But that is for some other fan to do. This is just a fun tech demo for us to learn RPG maker!#So...with this mini-project concluded#we now have a foundation we can pass over to our actual game!#Next game dev post will be some game assets (probably busts and battle icons for the main party)#And after that! Most likely some more sprite sheets (I have made a few more since my first attempt)#Thank you for everyone who has been rooting us on since I started talking about this project. It means a ton B'*)

Holy shit Iām listening to Dirty Girl rn and I remembered yesterday I learned that the whole bridge to Nerdy Prudes Must Die (the āwill you pray for meā bit) was supposed to be a seperate song that was gonna open Act 2 and it was supposed to be like a dream sequence with Grace and Max?? And honestly it wouldāve been a really cool tie in between the two characters since Max also sings āwill you pray for meā in Dirty Girl š¤
#sunny speaks#find it interesting that both times#grace wouldāve been dreaming/imaging max asking her to pray for him#find it interesting as well that the meaning of the line changes context between characters#though Iām glad that that part of the song happened between Richie and Max instead#very iconic moment in the musical#and still holds a lot of meaning and emotional weight despite the context changing#Iām interested to see how richieās death wouldāve gone down if Jeff Blim kept that part as a seperate song#nerdy prudes must die#hatchetfield#max was absolutely projecting onto Richie#trying to sort of taunt him in a way??#like#heās essentially saying that everyone had forgotten about him when he died#and people would just do the same to Richie when he dies too#and it makes sense because multiple times characters mention that people go missing all the time#which means that those disappearances donāt end up being a big deal#god no matter how unserious npmd can get#itās just such a well constructed musica#thereās just so much to sink my teeth into

the chapter songs in Alan Wake 2,, flawless
#they deserve more love and discussion#saying this while also not knowing what to say other than theyāre so fucking good#alan wake 2#i think itās partially because poets of the fallās tracks are iconic so of course theyāre in the spotlight (as deserved)#but also the CHAPTER SONGS. them being made for a given chatacter(s) with the help of Sam lakes poetry#the changes with āthis roadā by Poe with every Alan chapter. becoming more distorted and revealing lyrics and the spiral#the scratch song being 1) hilarious and 2) similar to Zaneās poetry in the aw1 arg#the emotion in superhero when saga feels lost at the story making it so Logan was gone#the lines of her feeling like a ghost in this story forming around her.. how she feels guilty and absent for both what the storyās doing#and being away from Logan because of her job. ashdhhhhjhh my heart#AND. follow you into the dark HAS to be alice. which kills me because at for at I thought of Alan#but no. Alice jumped in the dark place after him. itās so !!!!!!!!!!!#the rabbit hole line. Alice spiraling deeper and deeper into a dreamāinto wonderland#the Lost at Sea one is also good. intrigues me. the Bowie and Lynch references are blatantly aw2 Zane#but itās so similar to diver Zane and the āoriginalsā death. being lost in the dark place with illusions of escape#and losing any sense of identity. whether heās real at all or the monster of this sea or just a lost soul.#the soft and calm vocals / instrumental really makes the whole thing#NEED to stop typing more tags because this is a Lot. however.#āno one left to loveā is also a phenomenal song and one of my favorites from the album. GORGEOUS vocals and how it all flows together.#such a powerful and beautiful way to end a chapter#anyway thatās all I had to say :)#god. Marvel Writers: Hank McCoy/Beast is irredeemable. He is a despicable villain. The version you will see in the upcoming comics is a clone of himself with only up to his mid-1980s memories/portrayal. If original Beast does come back, it will still be as a villain and he can never come back to the original team as a hero. He has no one to blame but himself.

Richard Armitageās powerful screen presence and gruff demeanor combined with the lack of any internal monologue spelled out for the audience really elevates the character of Thornton huh.
