I find it a little funny how different the PVP backgrounds Clown and Etoiles come from are and how that affects how they interpret PVP. Clown is used to PVP for survival and intimidation and Etoiles is used to PVP for fun and friendly competition. Etoiles asked Clown to PVP without armor and Clown immediately got concerned that Etoiles was trying to trick him and kill him and also assumed that it was to the death. (Etoiles was NEVER implying it was to the death)

Which is really fucking funny because if you know anything about Etoiles that is totally normal friendly behavior for him and he only kills people if he thinks it's in an honorable way.

Ocie and Ceci propaganda: Canon QPR! They got in an argument about who should be in charge of their town, had an election about it, tied, and then decided to be co-kings and QPR about it. Neither of them are supposed to exist, and they are quirky and weird together to cope. They are so chill with murder too, the vibes were impeccable :) (i miss them so dearly)

actually im not done because the martren thing is CRAZY. martren is controlled by martyn's DNA, and through the session, martren comes forward to protect ren. it's written into martyn's very DNA to protect ren, to devote himself to him.

both of them believe that alliances are the core of strength, and the key to survival; so every time ren approaches a team to pitch himself for an alliance, martren takes over. one of martyn's ways of keeping him safe by securing alliances for him.

when ren attempts to kill other players throughout the session, martren is the one holding the blade. in the last part of the session during the final battle, martren never once relinquishes control over their body: he's fighting for ren, he's dying for ren, he's doing what it takes to just protect him. good god this is HEINOUS

So I kept running into this problem where someone would pick a song, and I would get so excited to finally draw something for that specific part of whoever’s story the song is supposed to represent that I would draw a million things for it instead of the like. one doodle or whatever I’m supposed to do for this challenge

That being said, this song is on DBHC Etho's playlist, representing the journey from Etho's reset Post-Destruction all the way up to the moment he re-deviates (though he doesn't let it show) <3 Cody Fry's take on this song and his orchestral arrangement is just heartwrenching /pos and I absolutely recommend you give it a listen! :]

I feel like this song also does a good job at representing a glimpse of bdubs' side of this arc... his longing and sorrow as he waits and waits and waits for his friend to come back to him, to no avail. I'm so very normal about Etho's Season 9 arc <shaking
