thank you! im happy to hear that, its a joy to rethink them all. generally speaking yes though hes definitely one of the characters that are very similar to their original counterpart? for the past few days ive been trying to redesign him and i just couldnt. maybe hes perfect the way he is. it will all probably change gradually ive accepted that. personality-wise i imagine hes way less... im not sure if joyful is the right word; way less funny, thats for sure, and not very charming, nor is he trying to be. hes someone who will get to his goal even if it kills him, and someone who doesnt really consider the feelings of other people in his life, even though he cares for them deeply at the same time. its telling that even post epilogue he doesnt stop studying and experimenting with the space rock that almost killed him, he just becomes more careful with it. very stubborn and devoted, to a fault, not as much ambitious as hungry for knowledge, somewhat selfish but unaware of it, but also a very knowledgable and smart, a good brother, and someone generally reliable if the problem isnt himself. being low empathy runs in the family. well here he is pre and post infection + some other guys

name-wise not all of them have been renamed as of now; some are really simple (cub - jakub/kuba, joel - jaś (shes a butch now...)), some are more detached from their original counterparts.
