Shine Your Way!

Happy Bi Day !! I know earlier I said I wasn't sure that I'd be able to make something for today, but then I had a relatively simple idea come to mind and wanted to take advantage of it :3

I wanted to draw Starburst for a number of reasons here haha. Mainly, she's the main sona I use to express the biromantic half of my labels, and also bc it feels like forever since I last drew her lol. The last time I gave her a full drawing was back in June, so it was nice to bring her back to the spotlight :3

It was also nice to draw some pride art again bc it's also been a long time since I did some of that! I didn't do very much of it during pride month earlier this year, so again, it felt like it had been a really long time since I did a price-centric piece.

I've gone into what my biromantic label means to me in the past, so I won't go through all of that again here, but just know it's something that brings me a lot of comfort <33

Isabella Transforms into Nia (Looped)

In celebration for over 100 pictures involving the character Nia from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I spent the last 5 months working on an animated passion project involving Isabella turning into Nia in the style of Xenoblade 2's blade awakening. By far the most ambitious project I have ever worked on to completion.

In lore- Zeydaan/Isabella is a shapeshifter, becoming multiple things for fun or for work- though sometimes they draw energy from sources, such as, let's say, a copy of Nia's core crystal. Here we have Isabella using that power to turn into Nia in her classic yellow jumpsuit. (With a looping animation)

Music in the background being 'Carrying the Weight of Life' by Kenji Hiramatsu.

This year hasn’t been going well. A lot of bad things have happened over the course of two months (specifically my mother but we won’t get into that). I’ve felt so scared and alone and all I would want was for that pain to be over. But I don’t want to keep being scared for the rest of my life. It might take a while for me to be free from all of this, but I’ll get there eventually.

For now, I’ll keep living on. I’ll keep living, no matter what happens.

To keep the mood light (because I don’t need to bring down the mood with all my trauma stuff lol), to my brother: thank you for sticking by me. I know I’ve said this a lot, but you’ve saved me from my own self hatred so many times. I’m glad I have you in my life. I don’t know why I’d do without you. You’re an amazing artist, an amazing writer, an amazing friend, and an amazing brother. I’ll keep going for you, you will never be able to get rid of me. I love you <3 /sib
