Heya! I’ve finally decided to make a Discord server for all the GHOS fans out there.
I’ve seen some people asking if there’s a GHOS Discord server but unfortunately there was not so I finally made one.
I’ve always wanted to join a GHOS Discord server for years now but never existed and I had always wanted to make a Discord server for a long time now so this GHOS server should count as my first-ever made server.
Feel free if you’d like to join the server, it’s open for everyone. Enjoy ;)

Hey, I saw your post about how well various DC heroes fuck and was wondering why Batman was so high given the infamous no eating pussy mandate?
(Sorry if this is rude)
okay so when pussygate™ happened literally EVERYONE on the internet knew about it like there were news articles about this shit zack snyder posted fanart of batman eating out catwoman on twitter every mutual i had was experiencing a life-or-death adrenaline rush live on the tumblr dash and the conclusion i came to after three consecutive days of this freakshow was that no one actually believed that batman didn't eat pussy. this whole drama started because the higher ups in dc made the harley quinn tv show get rid of a joke about batman sucking puss because they thought it'd sell less merchandise. famously, "heroes don't do that," aka the phrase that launched a thousand explicit batcat fics on ao3. that's literally the only justification and considering that a) it's not representative of actual popular opinion and b) batman's somewhat notorious dating history in the comics.....it has to be said that he's a good fuck.
plus this article by cathy herbert (written in the voice of bruce wayne) has made it impossible for me to imagine him being bad at sex like it's just way too fucking good:

The Woman's Part
Sooo hey. I finally did something with my Shakespeare MA...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Woman's Part is a collection of original prose and erasure poetry inspired by Shakespeare's women — their unlived lives, unspoken desires, and unwritten stories — using speeches and characters from thirteen plays.
It's been described as:
"A small piece of genius [showing] not only a profound understanding of Shakespeare, but of humankind in general." — Cathy Ulrich, author of Ghosts of You
and
"[The Woman's Part] has reimagined Ophelia and Juliet and more into striking freedom through speaking up, sailing away, and eating hearts." — Gwen Kirby, author of Shit Cassandra Saw
and
"To read it is to join the rebellion. An affecting and finely-crafted masterpiece which invites us to unlearn our deepest Bard-based archetypes. Stunning, incisive and fearless writing from one of the most exciting new voices on the literary scene." — Dr Chris Laoutaris, The Shakespeare Institute
~
I put my heart, my rage, and all my obsession with Shakespeare into this, and I would love for you to read it.
Available from most places you get books — a list of easy links at Stanchion Books

🎭🐈🌇 (dani)
thematic headcanons: daniela rivera.
Tumblr media
🎭 for an arts-/crafts-themed headcanon:
hc + 🐈 for a pet/animal-themed headcanon:
desde que a dani se conhece por gente, sempre teve o costume de colocar nomes de personagens literários em seus animais de estimação - a única exceção sendo o gato que ganhou aos seis anos, que chamou de sebastião pelo personagem da pequena sereia. tem, atualmente, um casal de buldogues ingleses de sete e nove anos, chamados heathcliff e catherine - ou cathy, assim como os personagens de o morro dos ventos uivantes.
hc + 🌇 for a headcanon about morning or evening rituals:

What have you done FITA!
GUESS WHAT I JUST READ! A GOOD, HORRIFIC BOOK. How can something be so gothic and so old money 1920's and so steeped in the 80s at the same time? The feeling of the mish-mash of time periods makes the reader (me) feel more unsure and emotionally gaslit by the whiplash of the senses this brings! There's television sets, but the house is very much a lavish deco? It's just enough to set a precedent that this is very much a recounted story - just as it is written - and not a present telling of the story. What I mean by that is the story is not of a girl living through the future, but a woman telling a grand audience of her and her life like it were as poetic as it were traumatic. I felt as though I was sitting in a theater to bare witness of a craft of one desperate martyr. And what a grand martyr she is. Was? I have yet to read petals in the wind.
Several times throughout the read I had to pause because of the actions of the grandmother and of Corrine. Cathy's retelling pierced my soul and left a metal branding loop on the edges, which tore some not so pleasant memories from it like it were made of flesh and it, a fork. Messy, congealed in time's past goop, covered in a wall of dust of the forgotten. Cathy's emotions of fear and confusion and resentment and love were expressed so well. Her relief of freedom, and the subsequent irony of her entrapment made me believe her every word. I clung to them like they were old friends.
I devoured this book within 10 hours. The pages of my copy were thin, like many lesser quality bibles. My copy is also a duel-book. Smashed together are the tales of both the first and second volumes of the Dollanganger family series. The text was small, about a .5 spacing between the lines. It made me squint, but not from the text formatting. It was from the actions of the characters, the words of deceivers, the words of lips that kiss upon fate and death and blood.
Oh this book. I felt every line like it were a knife cutting into skin, like scissors slicing flesh on accident. Surprising. Jarring. Painful, pulsing, heart throbbing from the shock. My heart did flips of dread from the horrors these children went through, all because someone wanted to bury their grief in money. Oh I wish to purge how rectifying it was to read this and therefore reflect on personal matters.
I do not recommend this read for the feint of heart. If your nerves break from the psychological horrors of the real, scummy world, then I am afraid this book is not for you. If you're for the maddening staircase of pungent gothic wrath - then by all means. Read it.

Chad and Tristan - The story continues.
Part 2.
Stepping out of the car, Tristan kept an watchful eye on the neighbour Eric, spotting him on the other side of the fence from their home. He was busy shoveling snow and didn't really noticed them as they walked in unity towards their house. If they were lucky enough, Eric wouldn't see them at all, Tristan thought.
'Howdy ho, neighbour!'
Too late.
His jaw tightened, not in the slightest mood to socialize unlike Chad, who dragged them over.
'Hello. Is the shoveling going alright?'
'Yea. It's hard work though.' Eric wiped the sweat from of his forehead, moving the beaner from his head. 'How are you guys doing?'
'We're okay... or I had a little unlucky event earlier today but I'm fine now.'
'Really? What happened?'
All the while Chad began to recreate the story in the basement with greatest detail, including how the allergy attack started, Tristan found the entire situation very weird. Not only did Chad uncover matters, that Tristan considered, intimate information, but he was open and heartily sharing the inconvenient and sneezy scenario with a person they'd only met on random occasions. These things were kind of private. Especially the part about holding back and 'suffocating sneezes'.
'Oh boy that sounds horrible!' Eric exclaimed when Chad had finished talking, then he fished out a handkerchief from his pocket and began to blow his larger sized nose in front of them. Chad glanced at Tristan while they waited for him to finish. 'How do you manage?' Eric continued, wiping off his nose and stuffing the cloth back into his trousers.
'I'm just very careful around stuff I'm allergic to.' Chad answered with a soft but moist sniffle. The cold weather evidently affecting him.
'I was thinking of making a snowman, you know, taking advantage of the snow while it's here. You guys wanna join in?'
'Nah-' Tristan started to say but what cut off.
'I'd love to.' Chad smiled. 'I love crafting and I love snowmen. They're cute.'
'Well let's get to it before it gets dark!'
Chad looked over at Tristan, 'I'll be right with you honey.' He said, as if making sure that the decision was mutual.
'Yea fine.'
About an hour later and Chad stepped in through the front door. Basically breathing with a sniffle so urgent, that it may have sounded like he'd ventured through a snowstorm while removing the scarf and coat.
Tristan sat still on the couch near the fireplace with the TV on, waiting for Chad to show up. Hearing him entering the bathroom, then blowing the nose fully, followed by several sniffles. '...ugh, bless me.' He heard him murmur quietly, then  breathing in deeply. 'Khntsch!!-Dztsch!!-HhRttsch!!-Esch'gnx! ......oh Jesus.' He sighed, when he finally stepped inside the warmed lit room.
'Hey.' Tristan said a little dryly. Feeling  unnecessarily annoyed. He wanted to share with Chad the emotional consequence but at the same time, he felt torned. He didn't understand the fetish and sharing it so intimately, an ostacle he wasn't naturally comfortable with. It was hard for him to comprehend where to set boundaries. Surely he didn't mind Chad having a conversation about his allergies with anyone. But to what extent? What were the limits?
'Hi honey. You must see the snowman that we sculpted.' Chad acted oblivious to Tristan's changed demeanor. Perhaps he noted the hints, but he wouldn't the facade slip as he chatted on. 'It looks so funny, you should have a look at the carrot nose, it's all crooked.'
'Maybe later.'
Seating next to Tristan, Chad met his eyes with a genuine concern.
'Are you angry with me..?'
'No.'
'I can tell something's the matter.'
'I'm just... bored.'
'Then you should've joined us..!'
'No thanks.'
'Tristan... honey.' A solemn expression came over Chad's face. 'What exactly did Cathy tell you over at your parents house?' His hand grasped gently in the most concerning matter. 'Did she say anything that might have upset you?'
'No.' Tristan frowned. 'She's got her crazy and old fashioned illogical perceptions that I don't give a shit about.'
'Regardless what she spoke of, I hope you're not letting her get to you.'
'I'm not.'
"Good...'
Chad eyes narrowed and he looked as if he was about to say something more, but instead, he was caught between a mid-breath, resulting in a halfstifled sneeze.
'Bless you.'
'Thank... you. ...oh, wait... hhh... ehh Esch!!-hhEischgnh! .... uh'Wreschscho! ...hhh, hhh... ah'Wreaschew!!' He sneezed harshly and uncovered sideways.
'Bless you again.'
'Thank you.' There's was a wet and constant sound from Chad's nose and he appeared slightly embarrassed. 'I think the chilly weather really got me...' He admitted quite timidly.
'Maybe you should tell Eric all about it.'
Tristan replied carelessly which he regretted instantly.
'What do you mean?' Sitting closer, Chad searched for an answer within Tristan's eyes. 'You have a problem with Eric?'
'I thought you did.' Tristan replied inaudible.
'Pardon?'
'It's nothing. Forget I said anything, I'm just fucking stressed right now so don't take it personal.'
'Stressed about what? About Cathy?'
Chad remained calm which Tristan felt thankful for.
'...it's nothing. Really. Let's fix some dinner. I'm still hungry after that pizza slice.'
Chad's uncertainty transformed into a confused expression. His eyes narrowed and the nostrils flared beautifully with the curved expandable edges.
'....hhhhh, uh'Wreachschoo!!' He snapped forward and protected his mouth by an unfolded hand.
'Bless you.'
'Thank you so much. I only participated in... hhh, hhh.. in building the snowman... cause I... ugh what now..  ...hhh'uhyEischschew!!-T'schew!!-
...hhYEaschschew!!  ...ugh, I apologize. ...I just wanted to enjoy the snow.'
'You don't have to explain yourself.' Tristan stood and reached for Chad's hand and he accepted it and was helped to his feet. 'Do as many fucking snowmen you're capable of. Or don't. '
'I really don't want such a small thing to become an problem...' Chad issued with a moist sniffle.
'And it isn't. Okay? Now come on. I want to see whatever you guys bolted together out there.'
'Honestly?' Chad looked skeptical.
'Absolutely. Show me.'
The snowman, just as displeasing as Tristan expected. Perhaps uglier, even though it carried a certain charm to it.
'I sculpted the face.' Chad spoke quietly into Tristan's shoulder, as the snow fell around them. He'd brought a tissue with him and he held it steadily below the nose.
'You did a good job on it.'
'Thanks.'
Tristan let his lips have brush at Chad's cheek. It felt cold to the touch. The tissue lingered at the nose and Chad did his best to not bring any attention to it.
'You wanna go back inside?'
An eager arm was wrapped around Tristan's waist, pushing them together. 'Soon.' He almost whispered. 'It's magical out here.'
And as Tristan let his eyes wander over the area, he sort of agreed. The soft darkness shadowed the neighbourhood like a concealing veil, and the small dots of light in every window of the nearby houses resembled a flick of a flame, giving the promise of warmth and protection. From the glow, the billowy whiteness embedded the ground as it sparkled, truly displaying an enchanting visualization.
'...hhhreyESCHschew!!-Wruaschoo!!' Chad's body shook, as he buried his nose into the tissue. '...ugh, hhhh...'
'Hey... we should probably get you inside.'
Chad's breath wavered again when they used the stairs, leading up the front door.
'ESCHXsch!!-uh'YeASCH'gnxh!!'schu...'
'Bless you baby.'
'...thank you. So sorry.' They came inside and removed the coat and jacket.'...God my nose.' Chad complained as he drew in several sniffles through it.
'What's wrong beautiful?'
'It feels warm and cold at the same time and it's like, stinging with a tickle that's really bad.'
'Oh.' Tristan wanted to be compassionate and understanding about Chad's vulnerable position and he did so by placing a tender touch at his nose. 'It's feels sort of cold though...' He said with a calm voice. Although he found himself trembling on the inside. The touch of Chad's skin so impeccable and smooth.
'It is?' Chad responded when his lower lip quivered. '...goodness, ugh... the way you're holding it, it's....' His voice trailed off as the his nostrils began to flare against Tristan's fingertips. The eyes squeezed firmly shut. '...hhhhuh'knxguh!!-Gnnhsxhhh!!'schoo.. ugh, excuse me... I'm terribly-hhh, hhhh... ' Chad turned and aimed his head away from Tristan. 'ESCH!!!-hhESXHSCHEW!! ...hhhh, ah'WREASCHoo!!!! Oh my God.'
Tristan was at loss of words, watching Chad rubbing the tissue over the pink nostrils.
'...sorry,' Chad excused himself again, unaware of the euphoric tingles he'd just sent within Tristan's body. 'I've clearly spent too... much time... oh goodness. ' He exhaled then drew in a huge breath. 'WRAACHSCHEW!!!! ...hhhhhh, hhyEASCHSchhOo!!!!'
The violent sneeze made him crash into the soggy ball of paper and his hair fell in disorder. '...ugh forgive me... that was terrible.' He sighed, brushing the useless paper over the nose. 'Sometimes I wish I could just sneeze and sneeze and get the tickle out in one go and then just be done with it.'
'Maybe you can.'
'I've yet to experience it.' A humble smile was spread over the delicate lips.
'Aw my little baby.' Tristan couldn't stand him looking so disheveled and adorable. 'Come here.' He pulled him in for a huge hug, the arms around Chad's waist and tilting his head against Chad's shoulder, with the nose against his soothing neck.
Chad breathed quietly, with gentle and sporadic sniffles, seemingly relaxed in the loving embrace.
'Sorry about your nose.' Tristan said, comforting Chad further with tender caresses at his back.
'It's okay... I don't mind sneezing around you as much... but I do dislike my nose being runny... It's a problem.' He sniffled again. '...kind of like now.'
If possible, Tristan held Chad tighter. Enjoying his scent with pure delightfulness.
'...you're perfect the way you are.' He spoke right by his ear that he could almost feel the heat that rushed over Chad's cheeks.
'I'm sorry.' He apologized softly, while he fidgeted at the nose. Rubbing at it so strongly that it left a thick and clogged up noise. '...uhm... I think I must blow my nose.' He confessed mildly.
'You sure?'
Chad giggled softly. 'Yea. I'm sorry. I've got one tissue but it's soaked and unusable.'
The word 'soaked' left a specific state of mind.
'Is that factual..?'
'I'm not gonna show it to you.' Chad giggled again while his lips reached for a spot at Tristan's collarbone.
'....so I'll start with the dinner then..?' Tristan replied, captivated by the alluring touches that made contact with his skin.
Chad let them part with a hesitating notion. '...I'll just use the bathroom then I'll be right with you.'
'Okay.'
A gentle kiss brushed against Tristan's lips, before Chad left the room.

assorted thoughts on: how the muses' wrap gifts based on @strangewonderful's muse question of the day
tadashi is very good at wrapping, but he rarely uses wrapping paper. more often than not, a gift from tadashi is wrapped in a paper grocery bag he deconstructed, or paper from sketches he no longer needs. he's an adamant proponent of scratch paper and having a scratch paper bin in his lab so sometimes things come from there. he always manages to make it look nice rather than last minute.
buttercup loves to throw something in a box. if she can put some confetti or pom pom type objects to fill it, all the better, but she's a box girl all the way. no box? gift right into your hand.
romeo has gotten very good at wrapping. he comes from a childhood of building theater sets and making props. he should not be underestimated with a craft. but also, his go to gift for everyone is books which makes his job very easy! he's gotten into more creative means of wrapping too. he does use the weirdest wrapping paper ever though and one year he didn't pay attention and the design was on the inside.
jennifer is decent at wrapping a gift. it is something that takes her time, so usually she will default to a bag with layers of tissue paper and a ribbon on the handle. if it's a gift for the avengers, she buys avenger themed wrapping paper. she thinks its funny. she'll try to get something very direct and on the nose for whoever she's gifting it to.
natasha uses a little bit too much tape but she gets the job done. she's not that fussy, she doesn't really care for a ribbon. if it's oddly shaped, there's more tape. her biggest struggle really is that she keeps using the little tapes that are semi transparent and don't hold anything well.
bob is... he's patient with his wrapping paper but he will fully throw a piece away if it's clear that this might be his 3rd or 4th fold of it and it's starting to get those white rubbed off design creases. it's gonna be sweet though, he likes to do a bow! he's very good at doing bow designs with it.
bradley puts it in a bag. bradley hasn't really done gifts over the years and when he does, he's putting it in a bag. no hassle.
josh needs somebody else to wrap it. if he can get someone else to wrap it he will. he thinks the best addition in consumerism has been the in store gift wrappers. that being said, he's perfectly capable of a decent wrap job.
cj is a box person. sometimes she'll add a very simple ribbon, but usually it's just a box. it's what's fast, and she really doesn't want to deal with the trials of wrapping.
donna is a very simple wrapper. she's very good at it, but she doesn't let it ruin her day. she's wrapped a lot of stuff, and she honestly thinks not everything has to be incredibly sharped and pressed. there's some homey feeling to a little bit of puff and extra love. she loves a very classic paper like a plaid or something with cute drawings
midge knows how to wrap. midge could wrap a bicycle, she could wrap a pony, she would find a way to wrap you a house. she loves a bow and she loves the holidays. the finest gift wrapping you will ever see and experience in your life will come from her.
cathy is going to show you a ribbon so masterful and then call it "just a little 'ol family trick" she knows. she's been making the same full out ribbon on gifts since she was a little girl. the wrapping is alright, but the bow is the masterpiece.
finnick: let me just say. you're lucky if it isn't handed to you wet.
buck is still watching the same youtube video on repeat. actually not the whole video, but just the same 6 seconds where he's not sure what just happened and he needs to see it more, and no it doesn't occur to him to slow down the video. the gift will be wrapped well.
bobby is CLEAN with those folds. the 118 is lined up outside his door when they need something wrapped and he takes a lot of pride in that. he might even host a little santa's workshop to teach everyone to wrap and yes he calls it that.
ellie likes to put a gift right into someone's hands. she's a little too excited about whatever she's gifting because usually she picks something so good or just so cheeky that she doesn't even want to wait through the other person unwrapping it.
elizabeth uses a box for everything. everything needs to be easy to wrap and she just won't do something odd shaped that's hard. she knows how to wrap a box though so things go in a box and she lines that with tissue paper for an added touch. then it's wrapped and it's decent!
trip... for all his engineering… theres like 6 added pieces to that thing bc he hasnt measured correctly. in fact hes so good at engineering that he was like. i fuckin got this. enjoy this surgery job of a wrap
paul tries to wrap things with wrapping paper. he really does try. it's not good though. he should stop trying. he hands the gift over and knows it's not a great job, but it's a job and it's the gift that matters and these are all things he will say to the person too.
gen goes for wrapping but no bow. he also sticks to red or gold wrapping paper usually as a preference! he's pretty good at it and when it comes to an oddly shaped object will commit to finding a way around it that still looks nice. he might do that thing where it's rolled up like a tube with a rubber band or tie on each end.
joann wraps all things with natural materials, or as close to natural as it gets with the replicators and such. she'll use a rope or a twine in place of a ribbon, but ribbons work too. she will forgo paper usually and it's just wrapped with the tie!
adira goes for a box with a ribbon! the ribbon is just your most basic kind, but really the presentation is kept absolutely simple.
spock doesn't wrap gifts usually. he's much more of a hand someone something directly kind of guy. that being said, he's been around humans who do wrap for a while and so sometimes he might put it in a very nice piece of fabric!
mark: bag alert. this one's putting it in a bag. one time, he gave a present directly in the store bag he bought it in.
farrah doesn't wrap things. she's also a put it in your hands directly sort of person, but also she doesn't tend to do big gifts. more often than not it's a small token of something and so it might go into a pouch if anything at all.
neal gives gifts that wrapping is at times not necessary for. a nice bottle of wine comes in a box. beautiful jewelry comes in a pristine box. his gifts speak for themselves. he's never wrapped anything and he might risk a paper cut if he does.
holly wraps it in tissue paper by just folding it over and over but like... sides open. it's weird. it's a mess. she also puts it in a bag.
