Witches' Guide to Baking Cookies 101
Gather everything you need to make the starting batter
Once the batter is done, add your special ingredient to make your Cookie unique, some common ingredients us Witches like using include:
Fresh strawberries
Dark chocolate
Vanilla
Custard
Avocados, carrots, onions, any vegetables you'd like!
Caramel
Gumballs
Hot sauce
The most diabolical brand of carbonated soda you can find
Fermented grapes from a musty old barrel in case you want your Cookies to make you tipsy
Edible glitter
Non-edible cotton
Some coral from the closest coral reef, for crunchiness of course
While you're at the ocean, grab a jellyfish or some oysters, because those work well in cookies
Pancakes
Blueberry pie
Crepes
What's that? Why not just make a separate dessert instead of baking all that into a Cookie? You don't ask questions around here, Gertrude, you bake Cookies and play God.
Clovers
Mala sauce
Blackberries
Famous BTS members
Cheese
Cherries
Sonic The Hedgehog
Burnt cheese, because you're terrible at time management.
Cosmic stardust from a galaxy far far away, for texture of course
Yams
Pomegranates
Licorice, because you're a tasteless monster, what is wrong with you, that's not supposed to go in a Cookie, GERTRUDE. You've been baking cookies for as long as you've had that stupid wart on your nose and you choose to add LICORICE into your COOKIE BATTER. Someone's meant to EAT THESE COOKIES, you know, and you put LICORICE in the cookies. You're going to disappoint the unfortunate soul you deliver these cookies to, and you can't say a thing about it because YOU chose to add the LICORICE into the cookies. This is why you can't find love, Gertrude. This is why the Cookies we bake find love faster than you ever could. I hope that sinks in.
Espresso
Mint
Chocolate
Mint chocolate, oh how bold of you.
Squid ink
Lemons
Sawdust from a Christmas tree, because you saw that Food Theory video about Mat Pat eating his Christmas Tree and/or the video about Rice Krispies and sawdust and wanted to try it out for yourself
Pinecones from the forest
Wolf hair from the forest, for taste of course
Prune juice, because you're old
Every spice known to man, because surely your brittle bones can handle Scoville levels higher than the gate to Heaven
Bananas
Chocolate bananas, because you wanted to be bold like mint chocolate
Mangos
Red velvet
Milk
Flour
Butter
You're pouring too much flour
Matcha, not to be mistaken with tea
Tea, not to be mistaken with matcha
Why are you adding this much flour to the Cookie
Peppermint
Olives
This isn't even a Cookie anymore, you've made a mess of flour
Macarons
Caviar
There are consequences for your actions, yet you chose to act with discernment. Your sins are piling up, and the flour is the only thing left remaining in your vision that is bright and pure. The descent from here will be known.
Raspberries
Almonds
Chili peppers, because you're daring
Black pepper, because something's genuinely wrong with you
Pitayas, also known as dragon fruit
And of course...
A poisonous and toxic flower, because you wanted to actually kill someone with a Cookie.
And that's the Witches' Guide to Baking Cookies 101. I hope you were able to perfect your batch of cookies with this stunning information. Now if you excuse me, Gertrude is offering me a very lovely looking green and pink cookie, so I'm going to have a quick snack before I pull my Sardine Cookies out of the oven.
(send this to someone who doesn't know a thing about cookie run kingdom /nf)
#cookie run kingdom#cookie run kingdom meme#crk meme#crk#alex says stuff#so im getting back into crk and thinking about the witches baking the cookies got me giggling#someone in their right mind tell me how cookie and oysters are supposed to taste good#im sorry to the 5 people who enjoy and eat oyster cookies on a daily basis but i just dont get it#educate me if you will#please im geniunely curious about some of these flavors

Okay let’s talk Cafe Mew Mew New, because I think I could get the ingredients for most of this. Throwing up a cut since we are still in the first day after release but this is just about the food, not the plot.
In the foreground we’ve got orange and apple juices- possibly carbonated given the corks, so something like Arancita & Mattinelli’s- and some little cups of something pink garnished with a little berry and a mint leaf. Now, for obvious reasons I wanna say that’s a pomegranate aril, but the charcuterie board seems to have them. Maybe a miracle berry and that’s something usually tangy or sour? I could see Akasaka doing something creative like that. Actually looking closer it’s a lighter pink, a layer of cream, then a thin layer of a darker pink/ purple which seems translucent, so maybe a jelly of some sort. Dragon fruit is close to that color, so maybe a pitaya mouse with a little pastry cream and then the jelly layer is also dragonfruit, with the “berry” being like a boba bubble of the same stuff.
Then there’s the charcuterie board, with prosciutto, pomegranate arils, rosemary, edamame, and some sort of soft smoked cheese, based on the thickness of the cuts and the rind. Probably Spanish or Italian, based on the other flavors on the board.
Deconstructed caprese.
Okay specifically baby mozzarella slices between vine-ripened cherry tomatoes and garnished with julienned basil. I choose to believe there’s more basil in a serving container just out of shot because that so little basil.
Single bite things! Enormous Be Our Guest energy because the pics say sandwiches but the cubes say cake. I’m going with sandwiches; garnished with cucumber & tomato is a white bread cream cheese situation, maybe cucumber sandwiches, maybe more like a flavored spread situation. The pink and white ones are cubes of ham and cheese, which makes sense with the olives and the prosciutto already in frame.
That does make all the food in on the table savory, except the coups, so maybe they’re little cups of borscht? With sour cream on top and uhhh… beet foam and a tiny leaf of sage? If I do this I will just put dill tbh.

5 Drinks to Get to Know Me
Thanks for the tag @wildemaven 💖
1. Water: The OG. Timeless. A classic. Let me just slip into my TMI and tell y’all that the first time I dropped acid (many moons ago, I don’t fw acid anymore 😂), I had a revelation about how fucking amazing water is, how much it nourishes us like no other liquid, and I’ve never looked back.
2. Coffee: My BFF. I have memories of my grandpa, who I love dearly, letting me taste test coffees he’d get from different countries. Me and my bff both share a love for coffee and got matching coffee cup tattoos (my first tattoo!!) on National Coffee Day. Coffee feels like home to me. If it’s a good coffee, I’ll take it black. If it’s kind of shitty I like half&half or maybe heavy whipping cream if I have it.
3. Beer: My alcohol of choice. My fave is Castle Danger Cream Ale, but more often than not I drink Coors bc I’m trash lol.
4. Bloody Mary: If I’m eating brunch, I’m getting a Bloody Mary. I love tomato juice and vinegary things (OLIVES?? PICKLES?! bitch). Plus it comes with snacks, fuck yeah.
5. Sparkling Water: Bc sometimes I wanna drink something that’s a carbonated but I don’t really like things that are too sweet. Strawberry is my go-to flavor.
No pressure tags: @radiowallet @jazzelsaur @pennyserenade @im-sylien @mandoblowmybackout @psychedelic-ink @pedropascalsx @whataperfectwasteoftime @frannyzooey @foli-vora @rennisaturate @littlebirdsbookshelf
&& literally whoever, I’m no good at remembering ppl and am not consciously trying to exclude anyone 🫠

Debut of Oliver Stone's NUCLEAR NOW!
Finally, the Venice Film Festival gave a public screening of Oliver Stone's movie Nuclear NOW! about the low carbon, affordable, reliable energy that captures ALL of its waste and disposes of it SAFELY.
Stone dispels the plethora of myths and misinformation that dances around nuclear power. This film takes a close look behind the exaggerations and lies about nuclear perpetuated by mass media.
There's a nuclear resurgence in response to the Ukraine invasion and tangible undeniable climate change. Nuclear power is the fastest, cheapest and most reliable way to quickly de-carbonize the planet.
We are hungry for electricity to fuel the world. Wind and solar are NOT up to the challenge. Do some reading and pull back the curtain from the Wizard of Solar and Wind and discover there's no magic. Without subsidies from us - taxes, subsidies, electric bill fees - wind/solar do not make sense. Without the fossil fuel backup of GAS, wind/solar are useless because they are intermittent. Without communicators like Oliver Stone, the incredible power of nuclear to save the planet goes under the radar, shunned, misunderstood a
Watch Oliver Stone's movie! Do some reading - Gwyneth Cravens' book, Power to Save the World, A Bright Future by Goldstein and Qvist. Tune into some podcasts - Nuclear Barbarian, Titans of Nuclear, Decouple and Power Hungry. Then talk about it. Get a group of friends together to watch NUCLEAR NOW!and Robert Bryce's movie JUICE, free on YouTube. More than half of Americans are secretly in favor of safe modern nuclear power.
In Riddles Island, my futuristic novel set in 2111, Ridlets use nuclear powered electricity from a Thor, the size of a large vacuum cleaner or a portable compressor. Nuclear energy is just one aspect of the adventure story amid the backdrop of the collapse of international capitalism, climate change and gender neutral characters who use my invented universal pronouns of e (she - he) and mer (him - her). According to Kirkus Reviews, "This visionary glimpse into humankind’s potential future is an absolute must-read for fans of post-apocalyptic fiction."

Plant-Based Meat: How Technology is Changing the Food World
Today, supermarket shelves are stocked with "meat" that isn’t meat at all. Vegan burgers, sausages, and meatballs — all made from plant-based ingredients, yet they almost perfectly mimic the taste and texture of real meat. How did this become possible? Let’s explore the history, technology, and features of plant-based meat, which is revolutionizing the future of food.
The History of Plant-Based Meat
The idea of replacing meat with plant-based products originated in the 19th century among vegetarians who sought ethical eating without animal products. However, the real breakthrough came in the 2010s when innovative products capable of replicating the taste and texture of real meat using modern technology hit the market.
What Ingredients Are Used?
The main ingredients for plant-based meat are proteins from soy, peas, rice, and wheat. Fats are replaced with plant oils, such as coconut and canola oil. To give it the red color typical of raw meat, beetroot extract or plant-based heme (hemoglobin) is used. These components are carefully processed to achieve a texture similar to that of meat fibers.
Breakthrough Technologies
The major achievement in recent years has been the refinement of the texture and taste of plant-based meat. Modern technologies now allow manufacturers to replicate not only the taste but also the sensation of chewing, characteristic of real meat. One key development is the fermentation of plant proteins and the addition of natural flavorings to create a rich "meaty" taste. Companies are also focusing on reducing the carbon footprint and water usage in the production of plant-based meat, making these products even more appealing to eco-conscious consumers.
Interesting Facts
1. In plant-based meat, "blood" is often created using beetroot extract, which gives the product a realistic appearance and juice similar to that of real meat.
2. Plant-based meat production requires up to 90% less water and land compared to traditional livestock farming.
3. Plant-based meat helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, producing up to 89% less carbon dioxide than regular meat.
Medical Research
Plant-based meat is seen as a healthier alternative to red meat. Studies show it contains less saturated fat and cholesterol, reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, plant-based products are often rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. However, scientists emphasize that not all such products are equally healthy: it’s important to pay attention to the salt content and the degree of processing of ingredients.
Three Simple Recipes with Plant-Based Meat
1. Plant-Based Burger
1 plant-based patty
1 burger bun
Lettuce
Tomato and onion (optional)
Sauce (ketchup, mustard)
Fry the patty in a pan until golden brown on both sides. Slice and warm the bun. Assemble the burger by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, adding the patty, tomato, and onion, and topping with sauce. Close with the top bun.
2. Stewed Vegetables with Plant-Based Mince
200g plant-based mince
1 bell pepper
1 zucchini
1 onion
Olive oil
Slice the vegetables and sauté them in olive oil until soft. Add the plant-based mince and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with rice or pasta.
3. Spaghetti with Plant-Based Meatballs
200g spaghetti
5-6 plant-based meatballs
Tomato sauce
Basil (for garnish)
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Fry the meatballs until golden brown. Add tomato sauce and heat it with the meatballs. Serve the spaghetti with the meatballs and garnish with fresh basil.
Plant-based meat is not just a trend, but the future of food, where technology is helping to create tasty, eco-friendly, and ethical products. The development of these products shows that innovations in food can not only satisfy our taste preferences but also help preserve the planet.

thats rlly neat i like it :>
