that's a fantastic question!

i've answered this before in another ask which i'll link here, but the tl;dr is that cannabis does not have neutralizing effect on estrogen that nicotine does. the issue with smoking cigarettes affecting estrogen HRT is due to the nicotine itself neutralizing the effects of the estrogen, not the act of smoking. fortunately there doesn't seem to be any research that shows that cannabis has the same effect on the hormone:

if anything there's some research that shows the cannabis itself actually hits harder if you have more estrogen in your system than folks who don't, and your estrogen levels remain unaffected by the weed. thanks for taking the time to ask! i hope this helps you!

While THC is known to relax blood vessels and alter blood flow in the brain, the study focused on how prolonged THC use might affect the brain by analyzing the differences in regional brain blood oxygenation and metabolism in chronic cannabis users.

Due to the prospective nature of the study, published in the journal Neuropsychopharmacology, researchers cannot say whether cannabis use directly causes the observed changes, or whether other underlying conditions also may be at play.

While the reason for the brain changes related to chronic marijuana use is unclear, Filbey said that these changes may reflect underlying differences in brain tissue metabolic rate.

I hate how my doctors are constantly asking me if I'm still using kratom and cannabis. (I know, it's part of their job.) Yes I am, because my life is fucking miserable and they make things tolerable. I want to die a lot of the time because my life has been made a living hell by multiple illnesses. (Depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, sleep apnea, ADHD, autism, fibromyalgia, and endometriosis.) If anyone has an excuse, it's me. What's more, scientists are continuing to find more evidence every year that my illnesses can be successfully treated with cannabis. So why are they trying to get me to stop? I'd rather get off the psych meds which I don't think are helping much at this point, since your brain habituates to psychoactive substances that are used daily for years. That's why psych meds have this effect of "pooping out" after a few years.

I don't want to be stuck in the house feeling sorry for myself!
