I’m undiagnosed AuDHD (Autism + ADHD), ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), APD (Auditory Processing Disorder), SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder), and Pure O OCD (“Purely Obsessional” Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), medically recognized (but undiagnosed) PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and SAD (Social Anxiety Disorder), and diagnosed MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder).

I’m also undiagnosed BDD (Body Dysmorphic Disorder), Trichotillomania (hair pulling/picking disorder), Excoriation Disorder (skin picking disorder), and Misophonia.

I’m undiagnosed PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) and/or PME (Premenstrual Exacerbation), and hopefully soon can be diagnosed.

Questioning POTS, HSD or EDS/hEDS. (NOT claiming to have this or self-diagnosed as of yet, I am still doing research, but I do have lots of signs that point to these things.)

My special interests are Wings Of Fire, Harry Potter, Dragons in general, and Neurodivergency.

I have no current hyperfixations that I’ve noticed, and I’m extremely low on dopamine because of it. /silly /srs

I have verbal shutdowns, shutdowns and meltdowns in general, I mask without realizing it a lot, and I’m usually in burnout. I also have severe imposter syndrome that I deal with literally 24/7.

I used to cope by using maladaptive daydreaming, so I relate a lot to maladaptive daydreamers a lot.

I struggle with violent and horrible intrusive thoughts (due to my OCD) and have for years now since I was a kid.

I fluctuate between Nonhuman and Human, although am always on some level both, just other times are stronger for one and the other not so much, but I refer to myself overall as just Nonhuman. My soul is a combination of human and nonhuman.

All of my Nonhumanity is due to a combination of Past Lives, Fate, and Neurodivergency. I believe I was all my ‘types in past lives, and only found out about it in this life due to my neurodivergency.

I’ve been awakened for only a few months now. I want gear, but I don’t have any right now. I’m making my own wings currently, and I hope to have them done soon if my ADHD brain will allow me.

I’m a Reality Shifter, which means I move my consciousness from one reality into another one.

I do believe in the multiverse.

I’ve known about reality shifting since around 2020 or 2021, and started my journey then.

I spent a lot of my time trying to shift, even though I didn’t have the proper mindset or knowledge to shift.

I took a huge break after trying for only a month or so, only trying to shift occasionally.

I’ve come back to it in 2024 after finding shiftblr, having more knowledge, a better mindset, and more motivation.

I’ve shifted once to a parallel reality, where I relived/redid a day.

I have way too many DRs to count, and I’m thinking about permashifting to my Better CR DR.

I’ve been aware of the shifting community since around 2020 or 2021. I discovered it from Tiktok, and did my own research into it immediately. Unfortunately, there wasn’t that many good resources, so my understanding of it was very simple, and my mindset was very poor. I tried shifting for a while at first, but then took a huge break from it, only trying every now and then, until early 2024. Now, with the help of shiftblr, I’ve been able to grow my knowledge of it and get motivation and mindset changes. I’ve also shifted to a parallel reality since joining shiftblr. I now attempt to shift actively (every night), and usually get a fair amount of symptoms. I am debating on permashifting to my Better CR DR right now.

🍂 �� What are some of your favorite alterhuman-related activities?

Quadrobics, vocals, and mask-making!

🌺 – How did you first find out you were alterhuman?

I think it was August 2023 when I awakened. I got a quadrobics video on my TikTok FYP, and I was interested, so I started looking into it. After some research, I concluded that I'm a Canada lynx. I've learned more of my theriotypes since then but yeah

🌲 – Are you a wild or domestic animal?

Both! My theriotypes are Canada lynx, domestic black cat, and Oriental shorthair. I'm questioning ragdoll cat and Maine coon.

👑 – Do you own any gear? If so, what is it?

I own gear, yes! I have made three masks for my theriotypes, two lynxes and one domestic cat. I plan on making an Oriental shorthair mask soon. I have a real fox tail and a real lynx tail from ethical sources. I also have a faux fur tail on an elastic belt, which was my first. I own four pairs of cat paw gloves. I also have a necklace with the Theta-Delta!

Existed. Unfortunately for prey species, other beings need to eat. Practically all carnivorous beings large enough to hunt them will hunt and eat rabbits and hares. Some eat rabbits or hares almost exclusively (such as canada lynx, whose entire population depends on the population of snowshoe hares). The lynx and the wolves and the ermines deserve to live just as much as any hare or rabbit.

I know, and I think it's actually really beautiful how they give their energy to the things that eat them so that they can survive. It's the way it should be and I can entirely appreciate and accept that.

You must understand though, that seeing something that is you/your theriotype being harmed or eaten is a little sad. Obviously I don't filter my content because it doesn't bother me that deeply but it makes me :( you know?

It's natural for rabbits to be eaten, and it's natural for me to be sympathetic to my kin

Oh ok actually there's something that I used to see all over therian tiktok that I've always been super curious about and it's multiple theriotypes of the same animal.

And I don't mean like, Canada lynx vs Eurasian lynx, because those are two different species, I mean literally the same species of animal. Like, duplicate theriotypes.

This was most common with domestic cats for some reason. Like, you'd see someone's profile and it'd be like "My theriotypes" and then there'd be an image slideshow that looks like this:

A bunch of the same species of animal, and even the same breed sometimes. I kind of get having two different breeds of cat but just having different colors of the same cat breed? Idk it always felt really weird.

Most of these people had seperate gear for all of these theriotypes. Idk I guess I just always found it odd that people felt the need to specify that they had multiple of the same breed of cat as theriotypes just with different colors.

Maybe I'm just not understanding this at all but like. When I look at any color of sable and sometimes even pine martens, they're my theriotype.

I consider all of these colors one theriotype - because that's what they are to me, I'm a sable, not a black sable and a brown sable and a white sable, etc etc etc. It's all the same theriotype to me.

I guess I just don't get it but if anyone has any insight on this I'd love an explanation or a different point of view.

I���m a PseudoHuman, which means I may appear to be human, but am not.

I’m SunNonhuman, which means my nonhumanity is integrated into my baseline personality. It does not prevent me from having minor fluctuations of mood that feel slightly more animal or slightly less animal. I do not experience mental shifts to my nonhuman types.  I’m Transspecies (more specifically Humanfluid) and Voidpunk, which means I identify as another species (and more specifically have a fluctuating connection to my humanity), and that I’m reclaiming the dehumanization and demonization that I face in the marginalized minorities I’m in, basically I’m reclaiming dehumanization and fully embracing inhumanity/nonhumanity.

I’m Physical Nonhuman, in the way that since I am my ‘types, so is my body (although, I am aware that my body is technically human/human-presenting).

I’m a CladoNonhuman, specifically with my Owl Flickertype. I am all owls, not just one or a few, although I am more so connected to a couple specific species rather than equally to all. My Owl Flickertype comes and goes, it’s been gone for a while but it’s coming back again, and I have no doubt that that will happen again.

My Otherfix identity influences my nonhuman identity overall, by the way! So, a lot of my theriotypes and kintypes are due to hyperfixations (although, remember, they are involuntary and permanent for me!), and then a lot of my flickertypes have been due to hyperfixations (once again, involuntary and the flickertypes come and go).

The reasons/origins of my Nonhumanity is due to a combination of Past Lives, Fate, and Neurodivergency. I believe I was all my ‘types in past lives, and that I only found out about being these things in this life due to my neurodivergency.

I fluctuate between Nonhuman and Human, although am always on some level both, just other times are stronger for one and the other not so much, but overall I mostly refer to myself as just Nonhuman. My soul is a combination of all my ‘types, plus the intruding human soul of this life.

Please only refer to me as Nonhuman and Alterbeing, NOT as Human or Alterhuman.

I do not experience phantom shifts or any sort of shifts, but when I have in the past, it has only been once, very short (a few seconds), and partial. I experience loads of species dysphoria, envy, and sometimes euphoria, though.

I only have very poor gear, two homemade tails, and one mask, and am also currently working on wings. I’m hoping to get more materials to make better masks and tails for myself soon, though.

I do very poor quadrobics, but I adore doing them, especially when I can in public.

I’m undiagnosed (and in the process of getting it diagnosed as well) PMDD and/or PME.

I struggle with severe violent and ugly intrusive thoughts (due to my OCD), and have for years. Not as bad as it used to be, but still have some at least once a day.

I consider myself disabled due to my severe executive dysfunction that I’ve had for years, as well as for other reasons.

I also have severe imposter syndrome that I deal with 24/7.

I have special interests (Wings Of Fire, Harry Potter (I really love the marauders), Dragons, and Neurodivergency + Disabilities + Disorders), hyperfixations (current ones are nonhumanity and nonhuman gear), verbal shutdowns, shutdowns and meltdowns, am often in burnout, and mask quite a lot.

I’m in therapy, go every week, and love my therapist so much. /gen

More About My Nonhuman ‘Types

Theriotypes:

Vancouver Coastal Sea Wolf: They’re a rare, semi-aquatic subspecies of wolf. They live almost entirely/exclusively off of aquatic animals. Personally, my favorite food is salmon. I have lots of reddish-brown undertones, with contrasting dark brown/black fur and warm gray fur. I am very fluffy. 

Canada Lynx: They’re one of the four living species in the genus Lynx. They are specialized to hunt snowshoe hare, but can eat other things when that is not abundant. I do adore snowshoe hare. I am quite large and fluffy, with giant paws and legs. 

Red Fox: They’re the largest of the true foxes. They live mainly in the Northern Hemisphere, but adapt very well and are seen in many different habitats. They are omnivores, which means they eat both plants and animals. I love birds and eggs especially, but will not deny some tasty berries. I am very friendly towards humans, so I’m a bit domesticated. I am quite fluffy, yappy, playful, and vibrant orange/red.

Nurse Shark: They’re a small, bottom-dwelling, slow-moving shark that is native to Atlantic and Eastern Pacific oceans. They are known to be calm and docile. They eat lots of crustacean, as well as squids, octopi, and some fish species. I am dark brown, long, and very content. I love humans, I love the sea, and my favorite food is squid. 

Snow Leopard: They’re a large cat that is native to the mountains of Central and South Asia. They have big paws that keep their weight well distributed on the snow, and their fur is spotted white-grayish. They eat blue sheep, ibex, Himalayan tahr, marmot, pika, hares, small rodents, and game birds. They tend to be alone, they can’t roar, and they are quite nomadic. I personally am gray and white with lots of faded black spots all over, and I’m quite fluffy. My paws are huge, as well as my thick tail. I love sheep loads, and I love rolling around in the snow.  

Maned Wolf: They are a large canid native to South America. They have long legs, red coats, and raised black manes. They actually are neither wolf nor fox, but a distinct species. They are omnivores, and they eat rodents, armadillos, birds, eggs, fruits, and plants. I have very long legs, black socks, deep red fur, and am very long and angular. I love birds and plants especially. I will very happily be the creature of your nightmares, but just know I actually quite like to socialize and will definitely cuddle on sight. I love to play with my fellows, and tag is my favorite game in the world.

Norwegian Forest Cat: They are a large long-hair domestic cat bred in Northern Europe. They are known for their muscular builds, diverse colors, and double layered fur. They are known to be tough and able to endure long, cold winters. They eat (or need) high quality animal protein. I’m very fluffy and varying shades of orange, with hints of white here and there. I love the snow, the outside, and climbing things. Fish is my favorite, and I love hunting them and mice too.

Coyote: They’re are a medium-sized wild canid which is native to North America. They are nocturnal, and hunt in packs. They are very visual predators, but also use scent and hearing. They are omnivores, eating both meat and plants/fruits. I love howling and the night sky, and playmates. Humans spook me a bit, but I also am curious towards them and often test my limits interacting with them. I have reddish brown, with gray and white here and there. My ears are pretty big. I love the rain.

Side-Striped Jackal: They are a canine native to Africa. They specifically dwell in woodland and scrubs. They are omnivores, and they eat insects, fruits, small vertebrates, carrion, and plant material. I love howling, the night, and I have incredibly large ears. Thunderstorms scare me, and I love the woods. Humans are my best friends, and I am incredibly playful. Carrion is my favorite.

Dhole: They are a wild dog native to Asia. They are known to be great swimmers, runners, and jumpers. They have auburn fur, amber eyes, black tails, and upright rounded ears. They are hypercarnivores, and over 70% of their diet is meat. Personally, I love deer and rabbits. My face and neck is very fluffy, my coat is thick, and my eyes are gentle. I feel a lot of peace and contentment as a Dhole.

Kintypes:

Raccoon: I look like a regular raccoon, but with small gold feather wings behind my shoulders and little straight gold horns at the top of my head. I love human junkfood and sweets, so chips and ice cream. I also adore fruit. I am very fluffy and pretty darkly colored. 

Dragon: I’m a SeaWing/SilkWing hybrid, and I grew up around SkyWings/was raised by SkyWings. I have dark blue, almost black, scales with hints of purple in them. I have webbed talons, gills that allow me to breathe under water, and antenna with fins on them that I use to sense vibrations in the water. I have bright white glow-in-the-dark scales all over my body, as well as bright white glow-in-the-dark freckles on my snout and spots and stripes on the edges of my wings. I have four wings that are the shape of SeaWing wings, and I grew up with wing buds like SilkWings do. I’m a vegetarian, but will eat meat if I must. I love the sky, and flying, and I often forget that I’m not a SkyWing due to being raised by them and treated the same as them. I am a great fighter due to being raised by them, though. I’m also a great swimmer since my wings allow me to have more momentum. I cannot spin silk, but can speak aquatic. I mostly am in the sea now, because my SkyWing family is now gone/out of my life somehow. 

Dragon: I’m a Night Fury/Light Fury hybrid. I can shift the colors of my scales to be either white or black (or along that spectrum) for camouflage or preference. When I’m not using them for camouflage, they’re usually a combination of white and black. I love the sea, the snow, and fish. I love to loaf, play with humans, and play in the mud. I had really bad tears in my right wing, which rendered me incapable of flying for quite a bit, until humans patched me up and I was able to heal and eventually fly again. I’m not too sure if I have a rider or not, but I do know I like to hang around humans. 

Dark Fey: I’m a Forest Dark Fey, from the Maleficent movies/universe. I have dark brown wings, brown horns, pointed ears, and love the forest with my whole soul. I find peace in trees, love my fellow Fey, and adore to fly. 

Avian: I’m a feather-winged human-looking creature with a feather tail as well. I’m still not sure what my wings/feathers look like, but I do know I enjoy flying really high in the sky and running around on all fours.

Hearttypes:

Whale Shark: They’re the largest known species of fish, and are endangered. They’re found in tropical oceans around the world, and are known as gentle giants of the sea. They eat krill, jellyfish, and crab larvae. I see them as my family, and I would protect them with my life. I wish I was one, sometimes feel I may be, but know I am not. I love them loads. 

Flickertypes:

Hylian: Hylians are a race of humans, although they are different from them. Hylians have pointed ears, are usually shorter, and have some magical abilities too. I mainly look like myself, except with pointed ears and am much more adventurous and nomadic. 

Orphinki: Orphinki are an OC species of mine. They’re like large lizards, except with feather manes, wise eyes, extra long tails, and colorful scales. They live for hundreds of years on average, and there are many types of Orphinki seen in many different habitats/environments. I am a Woodland Orphinki, have green scales and green and brown feathers, and love to eat fruit. I don’t like humans, but more in an afraid of them way. 

Sable: They’re a species of marten, they’re fairly small, and they’re omnivores. They’re found in the forests of Asia. They eat smaller mammals and hares, as well as other things. I’m quite small, have little black and white markings on my face, and love to eat hare. I am ferocious, yet playful and friendly at the same time. I will bite you very hard, but it is purely friendly 90% of the time. 

Owl: I’m all kinds of owls, but often connect with the bigger species, and the Barn and Snowy owls. I love to hunt (mice especially), I love the night, and I’m fairly curious of humans.
