The thing no one ever considers while writing up character analyses about Merlin is that. he must have been sooooooo sleepy.

I think the lack of rest was a significant factor in Merlin's conduct#IF he got a solid 8 hours of sleep + 2 hours minimum JUST to himself everyday uninterrupted... i got an email today from my uni that was sent to all students from the faculty i'm in and it's a job offer for a project from the uni's school museum where they catalogue and analyze old school note/exercise books from 1820-1950s and...idk i should probably apply right??? They're not even asking for a CV (mine would be empty), how often do you get that lmao. And it's only 6 hours a week, starting this October and the project is supposed to last 3 months and there is a possibilty of the museum hiring you for longer. And i mean, if it sucks i guess i can push through the 3 months? should i do it ahhhh my panic brain is screaming but it's not often that there is a job offer that is that nice

Ok, so I saw quite a few radioapple fanfics where Lucifer baby-traps Alastor, right? That's fine, whatever to make Radioapple happen, dark Lucifer is a nice touch.
But I'm yet to see a fanfic where Alastor just aborts the thing if he doesn't anything to do with any of this, 'this' includes babies, sex, relationships and Lucifer. Sometimes there's a good reason to not try abortion, sometimes there's a bad reason, the worst are where he leaves it with no reason/explanation. If he's characterisied as someone who values freedom AND is insane, then WHY would he just... let Lucifer babytrap him? At least make the baby un-abortable!
My personal wish is that one day I'll see a fanfic where Lucifer is very convinced he did everything he could to keep Alastor with him, and then we see Alastor just RIPPING the baby out himself (along with his reproductive organs). Like, it doesn't work, but goddammit, they're demons from Hell, make it INTENSE

i do rly like the age range of characters this season tbh, like s1 was all late 30s-mid 40 year olds (the outliers being a demon and henry, who were both likely older than they thought they were due to originating from different realms, still mentally 30-40 though), s2 were all young, high school age teens (outliers being taylor at possibly 19 and lincoln at over 200 (technically still a teen though), still mentally teens though), and now in s3 we have a 16 year old, his 49 year old ex-teacher(who is drawn like a 70 yr old for some reason??), and two (afaik) undetermineds, likely around their 30s, with one being a maybe Italian drunk driver and the other being a slightly dissociative mother, and the mother and the teacher will probably kiss before we hit episode 10.

I've been working on actually making stuff to post more often for the lower tiers, and have been consistently doing so!
I post at least a few sketches and drawings every month for the $1 and up patrons
and I've been working on episodes and sharing some updates with my $5 and up patrons
And I have a merch club for $15 a month, but there's still some $10 slots left! I design and send usually a postcard and some stickers to my patrons every month, but sometimes I'll do some experimental stuff; last month I did foil prints, for instance, and a few months before I made magnets!
It also gets you access to private channels in my discord server, where I ask for patron input on things like the merch or drawings, and where I sometimes stream while working :)
Buuuut also, even if you don't want any of this stuff, it's a great way to support me directly if you like my work! I'm still on hiatus so I'm not making any money from work at the moment, but I'm working hard and my patreon enables me at least to buy my groceries!

#Mmmmmmhhhh.#Well. If anything you can always tell when there's a ss/kk episode by the fact that it takes me two hours to watch it lol#What can I say. I'm a compulsive screencap taker#Mmmmmmhhh... I was right it wasn't as bad as I remembered it. Still moderately bad but not all bad.#It's just. I can feel the animators did their best.#I suppose it's just a difficult episode to animate within a short time frame since it's a specifically action packed one.#And the lack of time really shows. Like there *are* some detailed animated passages here and there. But then there's also these long static#shots that stretch on forever that are just... Idk. A little saddening to see I guess? Like the animators really ran out of time for them#There's also a big component of... I just can't vibe with the newfound artstyle. Like it looks soooo much worse than s1 in my opinion#Which you know‚ is only subjective! But eh... The distance between s2ep11 and this feels abyssal.#Everyone looks so ugly oftentimes. Like even in curated shots‚ they're just very rough and ungraceful.#Which like?? How could you look at Harukawa's art and come up with //that//??????? But it's whatever#And the pacing is so so off 😭😭😭 God please to death with 11 episodes long seasons give us filler episodes back. Please!!!!#The pacing is atrocious and it has not even to do with the animation. Even greatly animated episodes suffer from it.#Mmmmhh... I don't particularly like Fukuchi's vacting... He doesn't sound tired enough. Nor as pitiful as much as he should tbh#Among the three I feel like only Uemura really nails the job.
