Jinx

-Shows up to class once a week (forced to by Silco)

-Somehow has the best grades in almost every class (100 in science, 99 in tech, etc.)

-All the teachers hate her because she constantly breaks the dress code and makes fun of teachers when they try to discipline her

-Just doesn’t show up for detention

The enforcer and the fugitive—an encounter doomed to end poorly. Except Cait hesitates. It’s not the fear in your eyes (you’re too hardened for that) but the split second of defiance that crumbles when she mutters, “This doesn’t have to go the hard way.” You don’t surrender, not really, but you don’t run, either.

When Vi shows up later and Cait tells her about the strange "moment of mercy," Vi groans. “Babe, you’ve got to stop picking up strays.” But she makes a show of studying you when they inevitably track you down again—her lips quirking in an impressed smirk when she realizes you’ve already managed to evade half of Piltover’s forces. “You’re trouble,” Vi says, half-admiring, half-wary. “My kind of trouble.”

Caitlyn is your moral compass—or at least, she tries to be. She’s the one patching you up after every skirmish, bandaging your knuckles with a disapproving frown while softly lecturing you on alternatives to violence. She doesn’t realize she’s growing addicted to the way you soften under her touch, the way you tilt your head to listen when she speaks in that crisp, logical tone. It’s infuriating and endearing all at once.

Vi, meanwhile, encourages all your worst impulses. She teaches you the fastest ways to throw a knockout punch, smirks knowingly when you pull her into trouble, and always has your back during a brawl. It’s her idea of quality time. But beneath the teasing, Vi sees you—your pain, your survival instincts, the chip on your shoulder that matches her own—and she lets you exist without judgment.

You’re all terrible at timing. Between Caitlyn’s enforcer duties, Vi’s need to protect Zaun, and your status as a wanted criminal, intimacy isn’t something that happens in warm, safe places. It’s hurried kisses in dark alleyways, Caitlyn glancing over her shoulder to make sure you aren’t being followed. It’s Vi pinning you against a crumbling wall after a successful heist, breathless and grinning as she murmurs, “You’re such a bad influence.”

Sometimes, though, it’s quiet. Caitlyn sneaks you into her office late at night, locks the door, and sits you both down with tea. Vi sprawls on the floor, tossing out sarcastic commentary as you pour your heart out to Cait, her eyes soft and patient as she listens.

Caitlyn struggles with your criminal nature. She understands why you do what you do—the desperation, the need for survival—but it clashes with her unwavering sense of justice. Some nights, her voice is taut with frustration as she demands, “Don’t you ever want to do better? To be better?” You bite back a retort, anger flaring, but before things escalate, Vi intervenes with a calm, “Easy, Cupcake. Not everyone gets to play by Piltover’s rules.”

Vi, on the other hand, gets it. She gets you. But she’s haunted by Vander’s legacy, by the idea of repeating his mistakes. “Don’t be reckless,” she warns, jaw tight. “I’ve lost enough people to stupid decisions.” It’s not an argument, not really, but it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

Actor Arcane hcs!

This is messy, mainly about gay shit and in no particular order, plz forgive me

-Sevika and Ambessa are best friends on set. They go out to smoke during breaks and reminisce on their past love affairs with women and, in Ambessas case, twinks.

-Vi is the worst for corpsing, but its only because she thinks English people sound funny. The mongoose scene had 17 takes before they realised theyd have to leave it to the next day because Vi had gone into a laughing fit.

-Sevika flirts with interns. It annoys everyone because it means they go through interns like nobodys business since they're too heartbroken to come back to set once Sevis broken up with them.

-Jinx is the polar opposite of her character! She's actually the most calm, she usually comes into set early to talk with the directors and make coffee for people. She constantly has her earphones in during break, listening to the music that will undercut her scenes so she can act through the melody.

-Sevi and Vander are proper true brexit geezers (shes WELSH okay live with it). They go down the pub after every other working day, playing pool and laughing way too loud at really unfunny jokes.

-mel and jinx get on well, they're pretty much the only calm people in the cast. They sit together outside. Sometimes jinx gives mel an earbud and they rock a little to the music. When its cold outside the set mel wraps her scarf around both of their shoulders.

-Cait lowk has a crush on vi but is very defensive about it. When they had to film the sesbian lex scene the choreographer had to keep correcting her because she kept getting too lost in it.

-silco is the sets dad. He always leaves pills with Sevika and Vanders coffees because he knows they're chronically hungover. He always knows where to find missing bits of costume.

-Silco and Cait are friends! They talk about gay yearning.

-speaking of gay yearning! Jayce has got the FATTEST crush on viktor, making him a really shit actor in their scenes. viktor is oblivious because he thinks Jayce is always a really shit actor.

-heimerdinger is a cat that mutated and learned to act somehow and they throw him like a rugby ball when they're bored

CAITVI HEADCANNONS

My first time writing head cannons, hopefully this doesn’t suck

Vi helps Caitlyn improve her hand-to-hand combat, while Caitlyn sharpens Vi’s aim with ranged weapons. Their sparring sessions often end in teasing or doing the yk boombaya

Caitlyn enjoys sketching in her downtime, often drawing scenes from Piltover and the Undercity. Her notebook is filled with quick portraits of Vi, usually in action or mid-smirk.

Caitlyn makes anonymous donations to Undercity initiatives whenever she can, though she keeps it hidden from her family and even Vi.

Vi has a weakness for hearty meals and is a surprisingly good cook from making powder grilled cheeses. She learned to make simple but filling dishes growing up and enjoys sharing them with Caitlyn—though she might tease her about her “fancy Piltover” tastes.

Vi keeps a small trinket from her childhood, possibly something from Vander or Powder. It’s a grounding reminder of her past

Caitlyn has a soft spot for tea, particularly calming herbal blends. She enjoys quiet mornings sipping tea while watching the city wake up, and she loves sharing this ritual with Vi, even if Vi adds too much sugar.

one of my favourite domestic caitvi hcs is how vi helped cait after her vision loss.

because she struggled alot with her loss of depth perception and peripheral vision, she often would fall down alot, bump into things and struggle to grab things. this lead her to feel extremely frustrated and clumsy, as she felt she had lost some of her independence. she used to cry alot about it with vi, who wished she could do something to help.

at first it was little things to help her feel less nervous, like making sure to let her know when she was coming up on caits blind side so she wouldn't get startled, and moving valuable objects away from places where they couldn't get knocked over. she also always made sure to stand on caits blind side so she wouldn't hit anything.

after a while she began to make adjustments to the house, like putting coloured tape on the edge of the stairs so it would stand out easier, and adding extra grip and colour to handles and other things that need to be gripped.

after a while cait became used to her vision and didn't need these aids as much any more, but vi helped her with gaining confidence in the beginning

i was gonna add a section on how they kidnap you (figured i’d use it for a different fic) and an nsfw section but i didn’t know if anyone wanted that so i skipped it this time

HOW THEY MEET YOU

ok so vi is the one who notices you first - at first, you’re just another person who blends into the crowd at her fights

but then she begins to see you at every single fight of hers without fail, always with a huge handmade sign that says something like “step on ME, vi” or “vi, you’re the BEST!”

she thinks it’s endearing how someone like you, so unassuming and cute, is hanging around shady dens like this just to support her

you manage to catch her at the bar after one of her fights and you two strike up an unlikely friendship

she starts to fall head over heels for you - you don’t seem to care or even notice that she’s a mess

in fact, you’re hellbent on fixing her and she can’t help but have massive heart eyes at this point even though she’d normally find something like this demeaning (she doesn’t need to be saved!)

all her life, she’s chased after the people she loved and prioritised their well-being and now someone’s finally doing the same for her

you make her feel so seen at a time in her life when she feels incredibly lost and worthless

however it’s at this point vi leaves the fighting scene and reconnects with cait - you gave her the strength to do so

vi always feels guilty about this but you’re always in the back of her mind, a hopeful what if to ponder on the lonely nights after a lover’s quarrel with cait

so it’s nothing short of serendipity when cait starts to come home later and later, talking about a new recruit who has potential that needs to be nurtured and look at that - it’s you

cait knows she needs to be faithful to vi, she would never dream of going behind her back, but she’s drawn to you in a way that simultaneously confuses her and excites her

she becomes your mentor and sees parts of herself in you and that just makes her obsession infatuation that much worse

cait blurs the line between appropriate behaviour between a subordinate and their junior; she shows up at your door randomly for a “work assignment” and pries into the private details of your love life

if she finds out you’re dating someone or interested in someone other than her, your work life becomes a living nightmare

you’ll constantly be admonished for the tiniest infractions simply because she’s wants you all to herself and doesn’t know how to express her emotions in a healthy way

vi can’t even find it in herself to be jealous when she sees the lustre in cait’s blue eyes, one that’s only reserved for her, starts to come out whenever she’s around you but she does feel left out, after all, vi found you first

the two end up having a conversation and realise that they can’t live without you in their lives - all to themselves, that is

OK TIME FOR WHAT THEY’RE LIKE IN A RELATIONSHIP

honestly i think vi is the one you can wrap around your pinkie finger - she has such a soft spot for the people she loves and she’s not afraid of making it known

you want more treats? she’ll sneak them in

you want to go outside? ok, but vi is handcuffing you to her and you can only stay out for five minutes

surprisingly she respects your boundaries and tries not to be overly affectionate with you when you don’t want to be, even if it kills her inside

don’t think you can ask to talk to family and friends though, that’s completely off-limits and you will see a sadistic side to vi she doesn’t normally let out

i imagine her punishments would be something to the effect of her saying extremely cruel and upsetting things to you to remind you of your place

she would also be into physical punishments like spanking but not anything that could really hurt you - she would have a breakdown if she hurt you to the point of serious injury and would never forgive herself

cait on the other hand is essentially the “bad cop” in this scenario, it’s not that she doesn’t love you, in fact i would say she’s probably more obsessed than vi is, it’s that she doesn’t want to risk anything bad happening to you whatsoever

she went lax on punishing zaunites and it ended up with her mother dead - she’s not taking any risks when it comes to you

it harder to tell with cait but she does try to show her affection, it’s just not as obvious as the way she acts to vi

she does like to be physically affectionate with you more than vi does but this too is very subtle

she likes to make these actions seem like a necessity when really it’s for her own satisfaction

e.g. she’ll hold you hand and profess it’s because “you might fall over” even though you can see the faint blush on her cheeks - you’re both aware it’s a terrible lie but are equally too embarrassed to mention it

like in my other work, her shows of affection come from giving you books, painting lessons and expensive clothes, etc. - she wants to nurture your talents and expose you to the finer things in life that you’ve missed out on

she lowkey has a superiority complex when it comes to this lmao but i think she does it all to mask her deep insecurities

she doesn’t want to seem weak in front of her darling

her punishments are more harsh. i feel like she would put you in isolation and leave you hungry if you refuse to abide by her or vi’s rules

i hc that this stems from her childhood; her mother would withhold affection (maybe not to this extent) whenever she misbehaved and this way of thinking carried over to adulthood

this means that caitlyn and vi do tend to argue over what they think is best for you and it lowkey gives divorced parents energy - they’re constantly trying to prove themselves right

it’s a very volatile environment to be in

imo this is kinda cait and vi’s way of flirting too 😭 in the aftermath they look back on it like ‘awww she cares so much about our darling she’s willing to fight over them - so cute!’

their relationship stays mostly the same as it was before just a lil more intense

they’d both be yandere for each other, it just manifests a lot more strongly with you

like, they know they can look after themselves but you’re so weak they need to go above and beyond to ensure their most precious darling is safe

they both plan detailed daily routines for you and you’re micromanaged down to the smallest details: how long you can sleep for, the food you eat, the exercises you do, the clothes you wear, the people you can interact with

in my mind, this takes place at the end of s2 so you live with them in cait’s mansion - they’ve both experienced a LOT of trauma which contributes to them developing a codependent relationship and having to drag someone else into their mess

it’s definitely a stifling relationship and it feels like you’re never truly alone, if for some reason they can’t be there with you there’ll always be a trusted maid or enforcer keeping tabs on you

omg wait they definitely give you a diary and say it’s private but at the end of the night they’ll read through it to see if you’re planning anything they wouldn’t agree with

cait came up with the idea and vi thinks it’s a violation of your privacy but she goes along with it anyway

would never admit it but secretly it’s her favourite time of the day (if she respects your physical boundaries, she’s gotta break some other boundaries - give her a break!)

they just want to patch up the pain they feel from all the losses they’ve had to deal with and unfortunately for you, you’re their bandages

warning, sorry if any of these are OOC !! i just like fun. they’re all SFW (may make a NSFW one later?) and will probably contain spoilers up to act three

• They almost always shower together. Not in any inappropriate way, but Caitlyn has always felt a little tense when showering since the whole Jinx kidnapping her from her bathroom fiasco. When Vi noticed it, she made an effort to shower at the same time as her. Washing each others hair, holding each other in the warm water, or maybe just peacefully co-existing.

• Caitlyn is the taller one, but Vi is significantly more buff. Don’t get me wrong, Caitlyn is strong, but she’s more tall and lean. Vi is pure muscle, so even if she’s shorter, she’s certainly much larger.

• Related to the previous ones, sometimes Vi unconsciously man handles Caitlyn. Moving her as she walks past, casually picking her up without a second thought, etc. Caitlyn won’t admit it, but it definitely makes her a little giggly when Vi can casually pick her up without even trying.

• (spoilers for act three!) When Caitlyn first lost her eye, Vi tried to be really careful about it. She didn’t want to make too many jokes, a bit worried she’d be sensitive about it and get upset. But, after a few weeks, the jokes start. Vi finds it incredibly funny to make little pirate jokes. Caitlyn mentions the sea in passing, and Vi thinks she’s absolutely hilarious saying shit like, “Oh, you really wanna go back to the sea, huh? Miss the pirate life?”
