We sharing anesthesia stories? So when I got my wisdom teeth removed I don’t remember talking too much but what I do remember was saying “I want my baby” in relation to my girlfriend. Good thing I also brought a plushie with me to cuddle with on the way home

My nurses from my third ankle surgery gave me a teddy bear to cuddle since I kept asking for hugs and to hold their hands ❤️‍🩹 he has a little pink shirt with the name of the Surgery Center on it. I named him Scalpel 💖💖

So I have been making more of those character designs over the past few days or so

Though in all honesty, I don’t think they’re as good as the last one

It was just supposed to be one, but after drawing the first guy I didn’t know what else to put, so I just decided to do two on the same page

Still don’t have names for anyone though

Anyways, so these guys are based on these Legend of Mana concept designs

I think red guy looks a lot better in my design than green guy, but I also know for a fact that his body looks weird, particularly with his lower half looking weird and small. I still don’t know how to draw bottoms right, since I only ever do top halves. Something I need to work on

But I don’t think green guy looks that great, particularly in the sketch. I think maybe I stuck with the original design a bit too much and I suffered for it, since he looks fine in other work drawings I made of him where I changed up his hair

Some of it probably has to do with the fact that I mostly drew him at work during breaks, while red guy I drew in classes. I tend to work better in class, and I have more time to work

I also don’t know what green guy’s hat is supposed to be, I just have it there because he has it in the original. Maybe that’s part of the issue too, I don’t know

But anyways, so these two are supposed to be in the same universe as the first lady, as well as other party members

In my head, red guy is the strong one, and some guy we meet in our travels. I don’t know when he would join the party. He feels 2nd member worthy in his original, but I don’t know now. He’s also pretty chill and is usually the one with a brain cell, but he is not above doing stupid things with the party either

Green guy meanwhile is either a thief or a prince I think, not sure which (or I mean, he could be both; posing as a thief when in reality he’s a prince, for whatever reason). He’s got more general smarts while red guy has the common sense smarts. Though I don’t really have much else on him at the moment, other than like, probably being somewhat on the lanky side, as well as fast. Also in my head he has a relationship with another member of the party, but I haven’t drawn them yet, so we’ll save that for another time

I don’t think I really have much else to say here, so I’ll just stop now. There’s two more, I’ll draw them at some point

She could snap my spine in half. Queen. Anyway, her braided hair can wag like a tail through the power of cute. I know she doesn’t look good in pink canonically, but that’s what I had on me rip. Super beef, natch, plus I figure she has just random scars from experiments and mercenary battles. There’s a big litchdenburg lightning scar stretching from cheek to hip that’s from a shock collar. Since. Why not, and I feel like Jackson’s Hole would do that for genetic constructs/slaves who act out especially when there wasn’t a buyer anymore, and they don’t have a lot of other options for keeping her controlled. Plus a funky fresh cattle tag! Cause I love sprinkling trauma from dehumanization wherever I go.

Oh my god okay so I just like made myself really sad about hera so uhm let me start from the beginning

So obviously we know that zeus is the worst and hera has to put up with all of his bullshit affairs right? But I always kinda wondered why. She’s the queen of the gods surely she should be allowed to divorce her husband or at least have other affairs like him

But she’s the goddess of marriage. It would be hypocritical or even against her nature to divorce her husband. She embodies the undying love and loyalty that’s meant to come with marriage

So no matter how much zeus is a lying, scheming, whoring bastard she’ll never be able to leave him and she’ll have to suffer heartbreak after heartbreak. The only way she can reconcile her rage is through taking it out on the innocent women zeus went after

And now I kinda get why women in ancient greece looked to her for protection, it wasn’t just because she’s the queen of the gods, it’s because she knows and understands their suffering. They lived in a very sexist society. Women had little rights (depending on where they lived) and were married off at 13 to some man who was old enough to be their father and they just had to put up with it. Perhaps out of love or perhaps not, but either way it was out of necessity

There’s a comfort in knowing that the queen of olympus goes through the same pain as you, and, like a mother, she will try to save you from it

Bi Steve Harrington is really important to me and it’s a bummer that so much fan content with bi Steve does not really do bi people or the bi experience justice. I’ve ranted to people before but it’s nothing heinous, jsut that when you make content for an mlm ship with a bi character (it happens with every ship like that) it kind of highlights how common romance tropes are centred around monosexual people.

when you write someone realising their bisexuality and then link that to the ship that is endgame for your fan content you can end up writing a character who, because their same gender partner is their endgame perfect partner that changed everything, it’s seems like either they are now only attracted to the same gender or that liking the opposite gender was not as valid/fufilling/meaningful/important.

Which would be fine if you aren’t writing the character as bi.

Often with Steve I get whats going because I too like the idea Steve’s previous relationships with women (ignoring Nancy for the purposes of simplicity) were unfulfilling and not incredibly meaningful for Steve, it’s good characterisation. The issue is when it feels like it’s *because* they were women, which is impression often made when Steve is kissing a man and narrating that wow this is so incredibly different than kissing a girl eg comments about feeling the hard edges or masculine smell of a man.

Often times a lot of little things add up to make me feel like writing Steve as bi was never really considered properly

A bit more detail on the creator au Charlie and Michael meet in college before moving back to their respective towns with them both getting married without realising that their partners would make their lives a living hell.

It’s part of the reason they make Fredbear’s in the first place and much to Charlie dismay due to Michael’s kind nature she starts falling for him. She tries her hardest to bury these feelings but of course during a business trip with Michael these feelings come running up to the surface and the two have sex.

At first Charlie is mad at herself for doing the same thing that her father did but after discussing with Michael the two realise how broken they are with their respective marriages and confess their feelings for each other.

Unfortunately Charlie isn’t able to divorce her husband due to his abusive nature so the two agree to not act on their feelings until the time is right.

Orin was born on the 24th of April in 1979 and experienced a pleasant childhood in Pennsylvania. Their parents - Liang and Shane – and cat, Chickpea, provided many moments of entertainment and fun memories. Orin had a close bond with Chickpea and they would go on many adventures together, making Chickpea a prized possession. Orin had a strong relationship with their father, who would take them on outings and give them thoughtful gifts. Their mother, however, would make them learn Chinese once a week, which annoyed them as a child; but now as an adult they’re grateful for it.

Orin was a little difficult in their youth, but grew up to learn about respect and dignity during the initial stages of adolescence. They weren't particularly popular during their high school years, but everyone still considered them pleasant and friendly. Orin realized they were trans around 16, but had difficulty expressing this due to the lack of information available on the internet during 1995. They felt more aligned with the idea of being "nothing" (Agender) rather than a girl, leading to a disconnect with their gender.

Orin's early adulthood was chaotic. They were still a wonderful person, however, and attended university, where they earned an Associate's degree in Nuclear Engineering. At 23, however, their life took a turn for the worse, filled with excessive drinking and occasional sexual encounters. Orin even neglected their duties as a library cashier, as they were often too fatigued from their other activities. They became cranky, impolite and self-absorbed as a result.
