What does Xabier think of Taura? I don't think it's very positive, since she's dating Andrew.

He dosen't trust her at all, xabier feels guilty for thinking bad about taura without knowing her but her vibe just make him feel uneasy and her conection to andrew dosen't help either.

He would try to warn taura about andrew but after seeing she is completly indifferent(and even accepts his bad nature) he would just avoid her.

I think if taura haven't meet the graves they would have bonded over music, xabier literally has a band(he is the lead singer) and he would love to have such a prodigy in his team.

But overall xabier dosen't want to interact with taura and she makes him feel like he is interacting with a stalking predator.

Hmmm, knowing Taura I think she’d first classify him as predator (no one is that nice without some motive), but I think the more she gets to know him he becomes less of that and more prey

He’s too nice to people, giving others the benefit of the doubt in difficult cases. Also given what he’s been through, she’d probably see him more as a dog who keeps trusting people who hurt him rather than a dangerous canine

La policía ecuatoriana encontró varios cuerpos en un área de manglares cercana a la Base Militar de Taura en Guayaquil, donde las autoridades investigan si los restos corresponden a cuatro niños de entre 11 y 15 años que fueron vistos por última vez el 8 de diciembre.

El caso ha conmocionado a Ecuador desde que Luis Arroyo, padre de dos de los menores desaparecidos, denunció que sus hijos regresaban a casa después de jugar fútbol cuando dos vehículos con personas en uniforme militar llegaron a la zona y se llevaron a cuatro menores.

Las imágenes de vigilancia revisadas por Associated Press muestran a un grupo de niños corriendo y a hombres uniformados que suben a dos menores a una camioneta que luego circula por las calles de Guayaquil, lo cual respalda el testimonio del padre.

El ministro de Defensa Gian Carlo Loffredo reveló que según un informe militar, los menores fueron detenidos por una patrulla con 16 agentes que “observaron a ocho personas que supuestamente estaban robando a una mujer” y posteriormente fueron liberados sin ser entregados a la policía.

Los cuerpos encontrados el martes presentaban signos de violencia y estaban calcinados, según confirmaron a AP dos funcionarios que pidieron no ser identificados por no estar autorizados a hablar con los medios, mientras que la Fiscalía busca acusar a algunos militares por desaparición forzada.

El presidente Daniel Noboa, quien ha desplegado a militares para combatir el crimen como parte de su estrategia de seguridad con miras a su reelección en febrero, prometió que su gobierno no encubrirá a nadie en este caso de desaparición.

Las manifestaciones no se hicieron esperar y decenas de personas se congregaron el lunes en Guayaquil para exigir respuestas y responsabilidades, mientras que el Ministerio de Defensa ordenó mantener bajo custodia a los 16 soldados asignados a la Base de Taura, donde se encuentra el cuartel general de la Fuerza Aérea Ecuatoriana.

She could snap my spine in half. Queen. Anyway, her braided hair can wag like a tail through the power of cute. I know she doesn’t look good in pink canonically, but that’s what I had on me rip. Super beef, natch, plus I figure she has just random scars from experiments and mercenary battles. There’s a big litchdenburg lightning scar stretching from cheek to hip that’s from a shock collar. Since. Why not, and I feel like Jackson’s Hole would do that for genetic constructs/slaves who act out especially when there wasn’t a buyer anymore, and they don’t have a lot of other options for keeping her controlled. Plus a funky fresh cattle tag! Cause I love sprinkling trauma from dehumanization wherever I go.

TUFFS OF HAIR

The fact that they think of how Taura's tufts of hair look is very much a reflection of how they think of her in the beginning.😅

This isn't the first time Taura has lost her consciousness to the Void.

easiest name to have, and perhaps i care too much about yuki and nyck that i've put the most brainpower into this. welcome taura, at least, taura of a few months. she'll undergo a few more changes that i'm currently working on lol

you'll notice that as i design the dresses, there'll be overlaps. rota and taura both have the same collar and sleeveless, ferrata and taura have one slit in the skirt, and several others will have similar features. this is to reference the similarities and overlap teams have, so if they share an engine or name, they'll have similar parts.

taura was easy to design because yuki and nyck had plants on their helmets - yuki with his momiji and nyck with his frisian lilies - along with alphatauri being the name of a star, so i had to put a star motif somewhere. other parts of the dress are inspired by the AT-04 itself, namely the floor being referenced near the collar and the shoes being wire-like.

that line is based off of some of the lines that are on the AT merch, but i based the shape off of imola circuit

It is a curious and poignant thought that I can now find grief in things.

I wonder if Bujold knew she was writing such a powerful transgender allegory with Taura. Strong as she was, the way she moved through the world without feeling like she could be a part of it because of her appearance, her long belief that nobody could love her. All of these things, struggled through. Fought through. Recalling these things about her, I found new and fresh personal connection with them.

I reread Cryoburn today and though I knew it was coming, the news of her passing struck me hard.

No one should die of old age at 30.
