"We don't know if he's going to be back pumpkin. We aren't even sure what happened. You'll have to stay here in the tower until everything finally settles" Steve calmly reminds you, after you ask for your papa for the millionth time.

Your papa had gone missing almost 6 months ago, and all uncle steve could tell you was that he just.. poofed?

"It doesn't matter anymore Steve. They aren't coming back. Lying to the kid won't help!" Tonys booming voice suddenly came through the closed door that him and Steve were currently in.

"She doesnt understand what's going on. I refuse to-" Steves voice suddenly went too quiet to hear.

You slowly crawl to the door, sitting right by it, trying to hear through the solid wood.

"For all we know they could be dead. Giving her false hope will end up causing more problems when she eventually find out." Tony's stern voice pierced your ears as much as it did your heart.

"Papa dead?" You slowly whisper out, your breath getting stuck in your throat as tears brimmed in your eyes.

Steve stormed out to the living room, and immediately saw the tears streaming down your face and crouched in front of you, worry that you overheard, coursing through his veins.

"Hey hey, Y/N, what's wrong?"

"Dead? He dead?" You look at Steve with nothing but agony and fear, your voice strained.

His look of disappointment and his eyes filling with fear of your reaction tells you everything you need.

"Nonono not Papa! Papa! No! No-"

"Sweetheart!" Quills gentle yet firm voice shakes you out of your awful dream. You look around your surroundings before throwing your arms around your papa, sobbing.

"Shh, shh. It's okay, it's all over. I'm alive. Your safe." Quill gently runs his hands through your hair, softly rocking you, helping you to get through another nightmare.

The day you found out he had been blipped, was the day your world fell apart. After finally getting him back a year ago, you still havent recovered from the 5 years without him.

Quill gently picks you up, walking around your apartment, whispering gentle praises and comforting words.

When you finally peak out of his neck, your face swollen and puffy from crying, your eyes full of fear and worry. Worry that you could be imaginating his smell, that everything you see could be a lie.

"Sweetheart, i'm back, permanently. Theres nothing that could take me from you ever again." Your papa gently reassures you.

When he came back and they defeated Thanos (Or the big bad purple guy), he stepped away from being a fighter, and part of the squad that would go on missions. He would still help from on base, but he would spend most of his time with you.

Quill softly bounces you as he walks to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle, and quickly heating it up to your favorite temp.

Its around the time the bottles in your lips and his soft singing fills your ears that you realize this isnt a dream. Your able to comprehend that your papa wasnt dead. He was still here to love you even if that meant that when you thought he was gone, he had to remind you he would always come back for you.

He walks around the living room calming you downa s you finish off your bottle, and the sun starts to peak through the blinds.

Quill softly sets the now empty bottle down on the coffee table and walks back to his room, holding you closely to his chest.

He lays down with you in his arms, softly kissing your nose, and telling you a story of his time in the guardians. How your uncle rocket was just the silliest friend, even if your Papa got annoyed by the little trash panda at times.

"Papa?" You tiredly ask.

"Yes, Sweetheart?" He softly replies.

"No gone?"

"No gorgeous. Papas not gone. Never gone from you."

You’ve only met the guy once, and yet, you’re standing over him while he lays shirtless on your couch.

Of course, you weren’t planning on having anyone over tonight, no. You thought you would get home from your mission, albeit a bit bruised and sore. You were going to take a nice hot bath and let the steam melt away your worries. You had your self-care night all planned out. That was, until this morning when your team aka Task Force Cobra, got informed that you were paired up with Task force 141. It was to be a matrix job, something you weren’t overly used to.

Nonetheless, each group gathered in the conference room to debrief. This was your first time meeting the aforementioned 141 squad. They weren’t as intimidating as you thought, although maybe it was because you were also a skilled marksman. Nevertheless, you introduced yourselves and got the formalities out of the way before you got into the nitty gritty of today’s mission.

However, one of the 141 members caught your eye. Goes by the name Ghost. He was one of the taller ones, and you could only see his eyes. Everything else was left to the imagination.  

You quickly rid your thoughts of the man, needing to focus on what you were assigned to do. You drew your attention back to Price and Diablo, who was your supervisor for Cobra.

“Cobra’s task is to run recon. We’ll go in first unsuspected and gather as much intel as needed. Then, 141 will come in.”

You mentally groan. You personally didn’t like recon because it usually didn’t result in a lot of action, and action is what you were trained for. You had a black belt in martial arts after all, and you were pretty adept with a knife.

Though, you kept your dissatisfaction to yourself and listened to the rest of the briefing.

Nothing exciting happened during recon. In order to gather intel, Cobra tried to look like normal civilians in the market area; all your weapons were concealed. You spotted a few of the hitmen you were after, and radioed 141. The hitmen you were after are part of a drug trafficking group called the Ludin cartel. You really were after the king pins, but you had to start somewhere.

Once you sent the signal, 141 started infiltrating the area and the civilians quickly scattered when they saw men with heavy weaponry storming through the market.

By now, you were in the outskirts of the market, but you could still see the commotion happening within. You may have just seen Ghost get shot. Wait what?

You did a double take and sure enough, Ghost has a red stain on his pant leg. Fuck.

You know you need to get to him as soon as he can so he won’t bleed out, but there’s still Ludin men surrounding him.

Well, fuck me.

You took a breath then started to make your way over to Ghost. Your movements were swift and sharp as you cut through Ludin’s men, every once in awhile your knife made contact with someone’s skin, leaving a big gash wherever the blade reached.  

Once the hitmen were taken care of, you were left with the sight of Ghost passed out on the ground. You radioed Cobra and 141, “Ghost’s down. I repeat, Ghost’s down.”

You heard a chopper in the distance.

The last thing Ghost remembers is faintly seeing someone take down nearly every Ludin man that was surrounding him; he doesn’t remember much after that. Now, he’s awake but his surrounding is unfamiliar to him.

He also feels a chill, and that’s when he looks down and notices his shirt is off, but there’s also a thick white bandage covering the loser half of his torso.

What the fuck happened?

“Oh good, you’re awake.” A sweet voice cuts through the air, and he looks up to find a woman standing over him. Your face is soft, your features show compassion, tenderness, and he doesn’t feel on guard like he usually does when he wakes up in an unfamiliar place.

Maybe it’s the daze of waking up with two bullet holes in your body, maybe it’s because of you. Whichever, he can’t find himself to tear his eyes away from your sweet face. It’s been so long that you even say, “Are you alright? Can you hear me okay?”

He mentally shakes his head. “Yeah, sorry. Just wasn’t sure where I was for a moment. You’re y/n right, from Cobra?”

You give him a slight nod with a smile that tugs at the corner of your lips. He finds himself looking there, at the plush color that coats them, but quickly averts his gaze so he doesn’t seem like a creep.

“Yeah, you got banged up pretty bad. Two bullets. One in your thigh, the other grazed your abdomen.”

Jesus.

“Why am I here in this house?” His tone is only curious, wondering why he isn’t in the med house back at base.

“This is one of my safe houses, and it just so happened to be the closest to the raid. Both teams agreed for me to take you back here. Along with being a skilled martial artist, I also happen to be a medic.”

Your sweet smile turns into a smirk while confidence coats your face, and Ghost finds this extremely attractive.

He once again can’t tear his eyes from you.

“Are you sure you’re alright? You keep staring.”

Fuck me.

He stutters out the first bit of his response, “I’m fine, sorry. Just have a headache, but also it doesn’t help that I’m laying here shirtless with a beautiful, yet terrifying martial artist turned medic.”

You let out a laugh that makes his heart glow. What the fuck is wrong with me?

I’ve literally only met this woman once.

“No worries, Lieutenant. Patients are usually a little discombobulated after being injured.”

You smile at him again, “This is a judgment free zone.”

Ghost nods, feeling a little bit better. A hint of smirk forms on his lips, “If this is a ‘judgement free zone’, would you mind if I ask you a question?”

You nod, willing him to proceed.

He’s taking a risk, he knows. But he has to ask. He’s already so enamored by you.

“Well, since you’ve been so kind as to take me to your home, and tend to my wounds, what do you say about me taking you out for a drink? As a thank you, of course.”

He watches as your face shifts from intrigue to understanding. Your sweet laughs permeates the air once again.

“I usually don’t accept offers like this, but for you I will.”

Ghost lets out a breathy laugh.

“Great, it’s a date then.”

​​Female lead is not annoying. She’s very logical and the writer SHOWS that she’s smart instead of telling

​​The pacing is great. What a page turner! And the chapters aren’t impossibly long. The book is long but it doesn’t FEEL like it

​​The romance between the main ship is not cringe! They’re dynamic is hot. He’s hot. She’s hot. It’s all hot

​​There is more than one badass female characters! It’s giving Throne of Glass series (Aelin, Manon, Lysandra, etc)

Okay but a secret relationship with Natasha? I want Kylie on Truck 81 like yesterday. Love to see her & Stella's dynamic & just her in action period. When she was floating, she didn't have many moments to shine on truck. I'd like to see her get a save.

Cruz.... it's not lost on me how he was helping Severide with paperwork in the finale. I want to see Kelly working more with Cruz in that capacity

i want to see violet healing. i want to see her go to therapy and try to learn to love again. it’s obvious that she likes carver but she’s terrified to lose him and won’t let herself care about him more. i also want to see more of her with stella and lizzy. i love her friendship with both of them individually and i want to see them as a trio too. i also want to see her with kelly. if we’re going to have to watch firecop storylines again i’d love for kelly to take violet under his wing.but also, i want to see a personal relationship with them too. they are too big brother/ little sister coded for it to go to waste. also, more professional storylines from her.

i want to see damon and kelly bond like typical brothers. we’ve seen kelly be an amazing big brother to katie, who i want to see come back. i just hope kelly doesn’t project his thoughts about benny onto damon and blame him for whatever reason. it’s clear that damon still cares about kelly no matter what and he wants a relationship with him.

and speaking of kelly, im begging the writers to let him be at the firehouse more often and not play firecop every chance he gets. id love to see him interact with herrmann and cruz more. he needs friends. also, ive already said it before but i want to see more of him and violet.

i also want kylie on truck which i feel like is the natural direction to go in. my guess is once herrmann becomes chief and mouch becomes lieutenant, mouch goes to engine and kylie moves to truck. i guess my biggest question is when that would happen because herrmann isn’t even captain yet. so it feels like it’ll be awhile before she moves to truck 81. i just want to see more of her in general. i love her and stella’s relationship.

i don’t specifically know what i want to see from carver and cruz tbh. we already know cruz has leadership skills from when he was squad lieutenant. i think i want to see him teach at the academy more. that would be nice. i think from carver i want to see him figure things out with violet while also dealing with the trauma his brother put him through.

herrmann and mouch it’s obvious there storyline will revolve around them trying to move up. i kind of want to see kelly helping one or both of them study idk but i think that’d be nice. i want them to question kelly why he isnt taking the exam because i honestly want to know the answer to that.

Series Masterlist

The group of 5 split up, you heading outside to face the scrappers head on while the rest headed for the tunnels were their individual teams were waiting. You stood outside, dual swords in your hands and tilted your head towards the scrappers you heard chittering towards you. As they passed the corner, you stood on the opposite side of the corridor, simply glaring at them. For a moment, they simply looked at you before each scuttled towards you, you cutting them left to right. Few had bitten you and with the little fairy magic within them, you gained some powers like that of mind and fire magic. 

On each side of the school, the other squad leaders began ordering the fairies, specialists and blood witches. Specialists and Blood witches were leading, the blood witches manoeuvring the controlled specialist out of the way, knocking them unconscious while the specialist stabbed and fought their way into the school. The fairies stood slightly behind, the mind fairies helping their specialists against the blood witches while the others worked together to destroy as many scrappers that they came across.

Cathán was stood outside with his team when Silva and his specialists returned to Alfea. They had gone around the school but were outnumbered and retreated.

“Right. Listen up. The Blood Witches were waiting for us, so we've had to fall back. We're gonna stay here and regroup until the Solarians come.” He heard Silva command.

“But Musa's still in there. So's Flora.” Riven protested.

“Yeah, he's right, we should go now...” Sky agreed with Riven.

“It's not up for debate, okay? So let's keep busy until then. Move out.” Silva replied, when Cathán spoke up.

“If there is any fairy still in there, with magic or not, they’ll be getting out soon.”

“Cathán? What are you doing here?” Silva asked, confused. “The Solarians aren’t here yet.”

“I’m not here with the Solarians. Or Valtor.” Cathán clarified as Silva held a sword to his neck. “My superior assigned 8 separate teams to infiltrate Alfea.”

Meanwhile, Flora sat in the cold basement, surrounded by the bloodied bodies of other fairies attacked by scrappers. 

“They haven't taken anyone in a while. Maybe it's over.” One of the fire fairies said, shaking his leg as he sat next to Flora. 

“It's not. Just sit tight.” Flora replied tensely.

“And wait to get plucked out like lobsters?” He snarked.

“I'm not dying to be food either. We can't afford to do anything stupid. My friends will come.” Flora glared at him.

“I'm going.” He said, standing up.

“Just don't use your magic. I think scrapers can sense...”

“Yeah, I've got it, but thanks.” The fairy stated, as he lit his hand up. “See? There's nothing.”

“Nick. Nick, come back into the light. Nick, don't be an idiot!” Flora urged him to return when she heard Nick scream. Footsteps entered the basement where the fairies were caught and Fallon walked in, his team spreading out.

“Amber, Jace, Cameron. Get the worst out the tunnel, we have medical not too far from here.” Fallon ordered, the ones in question nodded as their team blood witches checked over the bodies, assigning medical priority. Fallon then noticed Flora from the descriptions Virgil and Adara had given of the Winx suite and walked up to her. “Flora, right?”

“Yeah?” Flora asked, confused. Fallon reached a hand before pulling her up. “Do you know what Bloom and the others are planning?”

“...No.” Flora replied after a short pause that did not go unnoticed.

“Flora. This is not a game. This is war and people’s lives are at stake. It is much higher stakes than you realise.” Fallon scolded. “So tell me what you know.”

Flora soon broke under Fallon’s harsh gaze, telling him Bloom’s plans. With a solemn nod, Fallon called you to give you a heads-up. You answered, panting softly, your swords dripping with blood and blood spatter all over you.  You nodded, thanking Fallon for the information before you headed for the hall where Sebastian and Bloom were standing, Sky trapped in vines from the balcony.

“Course not. But I wonder if they'd make the same effort if they knew how relieved you are to be giving it up.” You heard from the corridor as you walked towards them.

“You think if I had a choice, I wouldn't...” Bloom scoffed, but you hear her heart wasn’t really in it.

“Don't be ashamed, Bloom. You're a teenager. You should be allowed to be a teenager. Spend time with your friends. With your boyfriend. I know what it's like to miss out on all of that because you're dealing with shit that's bigger than you. Nobody gets to have a normal life when the Dragon Flame is involved, and a normal life is all your mum ever wanted for you.” Sebastian stated.

“Are you taunting me? You won. You're getting everything you wanted...” Bloom asked, offended. You walked inside, going unnoticed. You watched the interaction before you with a clenched jaw.

“I didn't mean to taunt. I didn't.” Sebastian backtracked slightly.

“So then tell me. Tell me about my mom, where I came from.” Bloom urged Sebastian. 

“Stalling for time, is it?” Sebastian asked.

“You can read my thoughts. You really think I don't wanna know?” Bloom asked rhetorically. Sebastian began to open his mouth in response before the sound of a slow clap echoed through the hall.

“Well done, Bloom.” You spoke out, sarcasm dripping. “You have no idea what you’ve done. You started a fucking war!”

“Y/N?” Bloom asked, looking at you. Sebastian speaking over her,

“Little cousin?”

“You’re Sebastian’s cousin. You’re a blood witch. You’re on his side.” Bloom gasped as she remembered what happened in ‘First World Goods’.

“2 out of the 3 is not bad.” You replied coldly, before spinning around and slicing the vines that held Sky. Sky began to fall to the ground, Bloom screaming out. Vines suddenly slowed his fall, allowing him to hit the floor gently.

“Sky! Sky!” Bloom called out, tapping his face. His eyes opened slowly, seeing the face of Bloom before asking,

“Y/N?” You didn’t reply, only waving a hand out, vines growing from the wall and holding Bloom and Sebastian both back.

“What are you doing?” They both yelled out in shock.

“You have no idea of the magnitude of what you have done. Either of you!” You yelled, eyes blazing. “There are children out there! Children who would have had to fight because you are both so fucking pathetic!”

“Hey! I am not pathetic!” Bloom shouted, Sebastian simply looking at you.

“You, Bloom Peters. Willing to give up everything for one piece of information about your biological mother! You have fucking parents! Parents that love you and now you want more!” You spat.

“She’s my mother!” Bloom insisted, trying to make you understand.

“You already fucking have one!” You exclaimed, holding your bloody sword at her neck.

“You know what? You’re a fucking traitor! There’s no point in trying..” Bloom scoffed, the sword at her neck now touching her throat.

“Shut. Up!” You yelled through gritted teeth. “Blood witches don’t always have a choice you know. And fairies are just as fucking bad! Clearly none of you care about the consequences of your actions!”

“What do you care?”

“I care because there are children involved. Innocent children.” You stated, now moving away from Bloom. You noticed Bloom about to smirk and quickly burst her bubble. “You’re not a child, Bloom. Hold yourself accountable! You killed Rosalind Hale.”

“It was self-defence.” 

“No. Self-defence would be burning her slightly. Self-defence is not burning her to a fucking crisp and saying ‘I lost control’ after you were told, repeatedly, to safely put your magic inside the convergence crystal!” You glared, before asking Bloom another question. “Tell me. What was the plan when you went to Rosalind? Hmm? Make her pay? Cause that is still second-degree murder!”

Unknown to you, Riven and Saul had walked inside the hall, seeing Sky on the floor. Behind them, Cathán had his team scout around making sure all of Sebastian’s blood witches were down. He then had two of the fairies escort Sky to the med base they had set up. 

All of a sudden, Sebastian chuckled, drawing your gaze towards him.

“You have no idea...”

“What you’ve done? That conduit to the Realm of Darkness of yours is closing as we speak. Around 10 particularly strong blood witches are shutting it down... For good. I mean I would have. But I had some business to take care of.”

“No!” Sebastian yelled. You simply smirked in response. Footsteps coming from behind you had you turning your head. Behind you, you saw Brooklyn, Dawn, Aella, Ezekiel, Adara and Virgil standing in an upside down V formation with you at the point and Adara and Virgil standing on each side, slightly behind you.

“Now then, Sebastian. You may be strong. But are you strong than me? And 6 transformed fairies?” You taunted, releasing him from the vines that held him to the wall. The fairies stood around him, holding a hand before them and pushed their magic into him. Before the first blast could hit him, he raised a shield using some lightning from the air magic he still had left. Another blast came his way and another. He was soon overwhelmed by the magic attacking him and his shield began to drop allowing the last blast to hit his straight on. His eyes caught you, tears welling in his own as he realised his end, and you looked cooly back. He then disintegrated, your words echoing in his mind. “Goodbye, cousin.”

With that, the group slowed their magic, Virgil getting Bloom down from the vines. You simply looked at her before deciding to be leinent towards her... after Virgil and Adara’s collected glares. The other fairies had left afterwards heading back to their squads and checking in with medical.

“You want to know about your mother...” You waited for Bloom to nod before continuing. “She had the Dragon Flame like you -”

“I thought it only existed 1,000 years ago.” Bloom interrupted, your glare going unnoticed.

“No. It was just in stasis for 1,000 years. Because you were in stasis for 1,000 years as a baby.” 

“So, I was... I was born 1,000 ye... years ago? In the middle of an ancient war. That's...” 

“Your biological mother and the Dragon Flame were the ‘heroes’ of that war until she lost control and thousands died. She was wracked with guilt for what she'd done, for passing the burden on to you. She couldn't fathom you going down the same path, so, the day you were born, she put you in stasis and she put herself in the Realm of Darkness.”

“What?! But you destroyed the portal! I could have met my mother!”

“Wow! Do you have any idea what the conduit would do?! There's an entity in the Realm of Darkness. Shadow. It can raise the dead. Sebastian wanted to bring everyone from Aster Dell back to life. Only, last time it happened, it nearly destroyed the Otherworld! Are you willing enough to be the cause of thousands if not millions because you want to meet your biological mother when you have two parents at home waiting for you?!” You scoffed before explaining the harsh reality to a now trembling Bloom.

Shaking your head, you left Bloom in the hall before heading towards the medical bay, Virgil and Adara following behind you. As you entered the tent, you asked some of the doctors how it was.

“Most of the fairies are getting their magic back but there will be a number of scars.” The doctor replied.

“Fatalities?” Virgil asked, as he looked around.

“A lot less than if you hadn’t come to help. 9 fairies and around 5 specialists.” The doctor explained.

“Thank you.” You said, nodding in gratitude.

“No problem.” The doctor replied before the three of you left for the safe house. After an hour of driving through abandoned woods, you stepped out to a large house, child’s laughter and shrieks echoing around. The three of you looked at each other before chuckling softly and knocking on the front door. It opened to a pair of twins, who then broke out into wide smiles.

“You’re back! Guys! V, Ad, and Y/N/N are back!” The twins yelled out, hugging the trio. Soon the sound of running footsteps were heard as more children ran up to them, tackling them to the floor. The trio looked at each other, around the children they were cradling in their arms, before whispering,

“For the children.”

It's odd that many accounts originally in support of the RF have either changed allegiance lately or have disappeared completely.

Although there are vanishing SS members, too. Even more bizarre, some SS have gone silent, and yet others have doubled down with utterly baseless and unbelievable nonsense. For some, their papable principle is not, it seems, to support our Saint, with receipts, but to mire themselves in whataboutisms. And while a whataboutism may be true, it doesn't negate any argument, whatsoever. Whataboutism just means someone else did soething, too. Not that your idol isnt guilty for their behaviour.

There are Optimistic Nostalgics who can't let a 12 year old losing his mum, or a 27 year old cheeky chap, drunk and naked in Vegas, or even a Nazi armband wearing Harry go. It's the boy they knew then that they support, not the bitter, spiteful man he's become.

The SS are far from close-knit in terms of their support. If they're necessarily fans at all. They seem to have many different factions with really no unity at all. The Anti-Monarchists only appear to support JH and the ILBW because they're causing detriment to the RF. Detriment which can be twisted to have facts rewritten, to go alongside blatant untruths. These people believe the Monarch's property, which he agrees to allow profits be taken by the Treasury, can simply be taken from him if we were to become a Republic. That was never the agreement. The property is still his as it was never given up. Only the hereditary revenues were exchanged for a civil list (now Sovereign Grant) payment.

However, this Republican, Anti-Monarchy group has found extra numbers from the SS to add to their voice. Shame then, that so many are American, and don't count!

Of course there are The Trolls seeking out comments from or about other Royals that they can disrupt, make threats, or simply just try to make it about their Quean. And the Bots pages and pages of whom post the same comment. Word for word. Hashtag for hashtag. An attempt to manipulate the system and get the hashtag trending.

Some believe MM to be the first biracial member of the royal family. Despite the fact an American genealogist established that Queen Charlotte, the wife of George III, was directly descended from the illegitimate son of an African mistress in the Portuguese royal house. Despite the fact that Gary Lewis, a Māori, married Lady Davina Windsor and fathered 2 biracial children; Senna Kōwhai Lewis and Tāne Mahuta Lewis (26th in LoS at birth). Both children are welcomed with love at RF events. Going back further, Queen Philippa of Hainault, who was born in 1310 in Valenciennes in France had Black Moorish ancestry. She married Edward of York, who just before their marriage in 1328, became King Edward III of England. These Anti-racist supporters conveniently forget the mixed raced marriages and their future heirs from across Europe and the aristocracy. They forget MM was given privileges no other royal girlfriend had been allowed, and given projects and patronages very close to her heart. She was welcomed whole-heartedly, yet this faction of the squad will find racism in everything. Yes, even you, saying you ate cornflakes for breakfast. They are still using one man's (Danny Baker's) disgusting and distasteful picture to cast aspersions on the entire British media, and all British citizens. It was one man! Most Britons themselves were appalled by this one man's post. The other "got ya" headlines they spout, often originated in America. And the apparent use of the N word in the comments section is jumped upon. But it's not a word that the British use. And whilst these comments may be made in response to a British tabloid story, comments are open worldwide.

Then they often forget that the humanitarian work, the sorority, the friends and boyfriends, in fact her own CV, showed little support to those who thinks she represents them. They forget that the award accepted for fighting racism in the RF was made moot by JH claiming they'd never called them that, or said the family were. Indeed, the late Queen symbolically danced with Ghana's president Kwame Nkrumah at a farewell ball in 1961 and during her reign many colonised countries were given back their independence and made republics. It's telling, though, that many remained in the Commonwealth.

The Prince's Trust, set up in the early 70s with his own money (severance pay from the Navy) has helped many BAME individual and entrepreneurs. It supports the Black Pound Marketplace to celebrate and showcase young, Black owned businesses, who set up their businesses with support from The Trust’s Enterprise programme. It was also one of the first to lend support to the BLM movement. The Black Pound initiative has helped to send over 30 young people in Nepal, Zimbabwe, and India to school. In the UK, Cordell has supported over 5,000 black and minority ethnic students, delivering resilience training, inspirational talks and entrepreneur workshops in schools and youth settings. He got his own break through the Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme.

Meanwhile they support someone who's turned her back on her entire Black family. Lied that her children wouldn't get titles or security because of their race. Uses the white colonial title with aplomb. And of course, there were rumors swirling around that MM got a black journalist fired because her interview didn’t go as planned. The pièce de résistance? A visit to Uvalde using brown children as a PR opportunity.

And as for ARO, who is its target audience? I'd hazard a guess, it's none of her fans. Whichever faction of that muddled group they are.

They now seem to be trying to organise yet another planned attack. These are adults. The negativity and disruption they cause. The death threats. The bullying and harassment. Do they honestly think this is the right was to bring discussion and discourse to the table? Especially with a less than coherent group!

Destiny 2.0

we have previously discussed a few characters and the tragedies that befall them because of their story, but due to the nature of this fucked up franchise; we’re going to be talking about a few others.

Cedar Wood is someone who is not real. You might think she is. She’s just like a person isn’t she? She thinks, she feels, she loves just like someone who is real

but she isn’t

she’s just a puppet, right?

someone who is cursed to tell the truth. who cannot do anything but. who is sometimes forced to tell the truth against her will simply for some cruel person’s amusement. someone who is sometimes kept at a distance by her friends because they are afraid of telling her secrets that may be accidently divulged later.

Cedar Wood is real. she is no less a person than anyone else is. and while she may not always be able to express what she is able to say, she paints her emotions away; trying to explain what words cannot.

Cedar Wood is eager to follow her father’s destiny because she wishes, she hopes to be free of her curse and someday become a real girl.

there is something so inexplicably sad about wanting to feel real so badly.

hunter huntsman. despite his name (which is horrific, but i digress), there is nothing of a hunter in this boy.

he’s a vegetarian. he’s someone who sabotages the traps his father sets out for the animals. he’s on the cheer squad. he’s sweet and kind and sincere and he loves ashlynn ella with all of his heart.

hunter’s ‘destiny’ destiny isnt too big of a deal for him. he’s a part of two stories and honestly, i think he’s pretty happy in both of them; after all, he’s no villain. in snow white’s tale, he refuses to kill her, and warns her of the queen’s ill intentions, while in red riding hood, he’s the hero who saves the day.

but the thing is, there is something hunter’s destiny does not entail

or rather, someone: ashlynn ella.

as destiny dictates, someone like hunter, a simple commoner; cannot be with someone like ashlynn, a princess, a royal, someone with a big role to play.

why does it matter? why can’t they just be happy? why does hunter have to be molded into what they think will fit best for his story? why cant he just be with the girl he loves?

why are they so cruel to a child?

there’s a story we’ve all heard before. 

a story about a brother and a sister who were left in the woods by their father after there was nothing more for them to eat at home. how they found a house made of candy and were lured and trapped by the cannibal witch to whom it belonged. and how they finally bested her and escaped to warn the world of her evil.

what an utterly absurd lie created by two horrible children.

and yes, while the candy witch herself rather enjoys the controversy caused by her horrific tale, there is someone who does not.

ginger breadhouse. such a kind young girl, whose only desire is to bake and make people happy.

yet ginger is feared and rebuffed time and time again for what people assume her to be: a cannibal. a vicious, cruel monster who represents the worst in all of us. someone who uses her gifts simply to exploit others.

ginger cooks and bakes because she simply wants to; it is her passion. she just wants to share her treats with others and to just let them be happy. she doesn’t want to be the cannibal witch. she doesnt want to poison people. she just wants to be a pastry chef.  

it just isnt fair.

duchess swan is a royal through and through, and if anyone has a problem with that, then they could go fuck themselves.

it is no secret that duchess doesnt get a ‘happily ever after’ like most princesses, and yes, if you tend to remind her of that, you may get kicked in some very sensitive places by ballet shoes.

but duchess swan does not see herself as a coward. yes, she may be bitter about her story. yes, she may be envious of others such as the ever so perfect apple white, or ashlynn fucking ella.

yes, she may desperately want out of this fate. yes, she may be terrified knowing that what happened to her mother will happen to her. yes, she may try to swap stories with other princesses just to get a happier ending and to make sure that her story ends without her true love inadvertently betraying her.

but duchess is not a coward. and by whatever god there is in their fucked up world, duchess swan refuses to act like those ‘rebels’ and go against her destiny.

even though she might die. even though she’ll be stuck a swan forever. even though she might be the villain of her story.

duchess is a child who has been fed this horrific future from birth.

and apple white. god. what is there to say about apple white?

the perfect heir to the throne of ever after high? the girl who has it all? the one who is so effortlessly perfect? who has people fawning over her every move? who is the prettiest, smartest, and most popular girl in school? the girl with the ‘best’ story? the girl who is going to end up with everything, just like destiny intended for her?

her perfect happily ever after.

except, that isnt true, is it?

apple is not perfect. her hair is blonde instead of ‘as black as coal’. she hides the fact that she wears glasses and is nearly blind without them, because that is an ‘imperfection’. she is supposed to be the most popular, but is instead beaten by a rebel like raven queen. 

her prince isnt even a prince, for crying out loud. the ever so perfect daring charming is not her prince, rather, his sister, darling charming, the white knight, is apple’s true love.

all her life, the expectations set upon apple white have suffocated her and distorted her vision of what life she has and wants. she has been fed lies after lies about what she has to be, and what her ‘perfect’ future has to be like.

she is afraid of messing up. she is afraid of not being perfect. she is afraid from straying from the comfortable bubble of her destiny. she is afraid of deviating from her ‘happily ever after’ because she is literally terrified that she will die.

apple white, for all her bravado, is simply a scared child who doesnt know what to do.

and the truth is, the rest of them are like that as well.

they’re just kids.

and they’re afraid of what’s going to happen to them in the future.

•in some miracle everyone is home at the same time

•Echo is actually the first one to suggest making there own pizza as the fighting over what to eat got a little out of control *cough cough* I’m lookin at you crosshair

•Tech of course is rambling on after checking his data pad about what you need for the best homemade pizza and Hunter is sent out to gather the supplies

•When the baking commences sauce is already flying everywhere. Marinara sauce is all over Wrecker

•But who’s gonna yell at him when him and Omega are laughing so loud

•Techs sauce is perfectly measured so there is the right about of crust to sauce ratioor maximum enjoyment

•Echo has some issues getting the cheese out of one of the many bags they had (he definitely doesn’t dump a whole bag out of frustration onto his pizza instead)

•Crosshair and Hunter of course being the oldest/youngest try to one up each other but it’s all fun and games

•Omega cant wait any longer for the others and begs to put the pizzas into the oven

•doesn’t go anywhere near the oven because sHe dEfInItEiY iSnT sCaReD oF iT

•Crosshair and Tech protect her from the “not scary” oven

•When all the pizzas are done somehow Wreckers pizza gets scorched but he doesn’t mind

•Omegas is so happy with hers and will not shut up about how good they all smell

•Echos is the stringy-ist and the record of cheese pull is now held by him (it’s the length of the whole kitchen)

•The whole squad gathers around the table finally be able to eat together
