I wanna tell you the world of them but 1. I'm tired 2. I'm getting over a cold. However, I shall do my best. Ty so much for the interest and the opportunity!

So both my newest tykes are for @disenchantedif [if you haven't tried it or even checked out the blog, I recommend! ESPECIALLY if you enjoy KOTSAM! A host of species to pick from, political and family drama, tragic... everything: backstories, present, future... a number of great ROs; but here MC can have history with q few. Though there is way more that MC is aware about, they ain't new to this.]

I have TWO semi [mostly] formed MCs for the game, and one who is just a FC and vibes [I also have a MC who's also just an FC and vibes for Dakota's other game @theunseelieif -- I THINK I may shoot Kendis at TU, I'm going to wait for a few more updates to be sure but I have already tested them in the first update and I Iiked how she clicked!]

My first edition of Tristan had the nickname Trix, fc of Laura Harrier, and was a lot more jittery, stiff and serious, and likeIy to hide behind Viktor. Tis isn't -- confrontational but xe is Tired and not looking to run. Xe's an Adult and xe isn't going to go looking for xyr past but xe is not going to not face it if it comes xe's way. Xe has a mixture of Mature and just Done approach [but there is a deep latent teasing that Theo can draw out ... at the cost of poor Viktor.] That said, xe is also not that social [though xe isnt against a fun time].

I think xe knows xe is absolutely so so so into Viktor. Viktor [and maybe Theo] is probably the only one who doesnt know qwerweq2e. Xe is just fond of Theo -- ofc! Bc Theo is a loyal bff, even if she is a pain in xe's. Nothing else there! [pfft]

Xe is also very loyal to Viktor's famiy.

2, Aleena Odeh [Nickname pending: But I Iike NeeIa]; fc Josie Totah, species: ????, pronouns: She/Her.

I haven't actually played with Neela yet. But I had the aesthetic and the possible ship [Penny!] and went from there. She is my cringefail child. My angry, cringefail womanTM. Bitter, bitter, bitter. Where Tis is Over It [highly very numb], Neela is seething to the point of corrosive. And probably violence. She's gonna make the besties squad WORK to love her, but in turn they will have her axe fist and not at all pithy comebacks. She is very protective of the little she has left.

I think she loves Viktor's family --- she just doesnt trust anymore. She has lost A LOT. She makes me cry and sad 12q3w4erew lol. Ima cry for her.

She is exhausted 25/6 and took the jitteryness of og Trix, except its less jumpy and more this caffiene and energy drink isnt that effective/is a chihuahua. It's the rage. But over ALL that is glitter and FUN!

I wanted a soff boy. I don't know, he is probably cis and bi. He will be in one of the Cam polyams bc I found that to be VERY funny.

The she is him. The mom is Talia. I mean he might surprise me, but I think he is the one most gung-ho about absorbing himseIf into Viktor's family; where as Neela is a cat fighting the bathtime and Tis still calls them Mr./Mrs. no matter how many times they contradict xem.

I do !! but you're gonna have to listen to me ramble about canon a bit first, because I'm the number one Disenchanted defender 💖

There's actually nothing in the movie or novel that states Giselle lost her studio, and it lowkey (highkey) confuses me when people say she did. The movie fails to directly mention Andalasia Fashions, sure, but that doesn't automatically mean she lost/sold it ? And in the junior novel, Giselle tells Malvina she plans on opening a new studio in Monroeville (which she eventually does). So, the idea that Giselle gave up her job/stopped working and is nothing more than a stay at home wife/mother simply isn't true. But also, I think it's a bit silly that people are so mad at the possibility she might be a stay at home wife/mother. like why is that so offensive ?? She owned her dress business for ten years, and worked regularly, maybe she just wants a break?

I think a lot of people also forget, or simply missed the line about Sofia's age, but she's only a year old. She needs her mama, and Giselle doesn't have to go back to work yet if she doesn't want to. And Robert definitely makes enough to provide for their family on his own, so she doesn't really need to go back either. It's possible Giselle simply wanted to be home with her baby, and took a longer maternity leave because she could. And I don't really see why that's an issue.

Also, I never see anyone bring up the fact that Giselle is definitely dealing with postpartum depression ?? Like, she's so obviously depressed in the sequel, and you can't convince me that's not at least partially linked to the fact that she recently gave birth. It's possible she just wasn't in the right headspace to return to work yet.

Now, I do wish the movie had kept the line about her new studio in, for sure, and I don't get why it was cut, but at the end of the day, they never once mention Giselle closing it down, or losing it, or selling it, or giving up work completely. In fact, during the opening narration, Giselle is shown sleeping with fabric and sketchbooks around her. So, she could've been working from home, too.

It's also worth mentioning that in the jr. novel, Giselle is shown working in her studio, but she was overworking herself/not finishing until well after midnight, so again, my girl was simply exhausted, and needed a break 🤧

Okay, whew, sorry. Now that that's over, let's dive into my headcanons 🫡

Personally, I headcanon that her pregnancy was pretty hard on her. She was overjoyed, of course, and excited to have her baby, but it was still an exhausting, and overall not very fun pregnancy. I also hc that she ended up needing an emergency C-section, and all of this really took a toll on her mental health. This made the choice to return to work pretty difficult, and Giselle ended up taking a longer maternity leave.

I do think that she tried going back. Giselle tried to do a few days here and there, for a just a few hours, but it wasn't ever easy. Her head (and heart) just wasn't in it, and she eventually goes back on leave.

Then they move to Monroeville. Personally, I think Giselle kept Andalasia Fashions open, because I don't see why she'd close it (and canon never said she did). I think she still owns the business, and left May (Nancy's assistant from the first movie) in charge. I headcanon she and Giselle became really close once they started working together, and May had no issues taking over.

As I mentioned above, Giselle tells Malvina she plans on opening a new studio.

There's no timeline mentioned for when she opens it, but it's mentioned that she eventually opens it right next to Robert's law firm.

As much as I love the movie's ending, I think this ending is really sweet, and I would've love to see it. But I definitely consider it canon, and I have a small fic here (x) where she and Robert discuss opening their places side by side if you want to read 😋

So yeah. I think she's still the owner of Andalasia Fashions, and she definitely stops by, she's not ignoring it, but she regularly works in her new studio, A Fairy-Tale Life.

In short, yes, Giselle stopped working, but that's because she just had a baby, and she was battling with depression. I think she's far too restless to stay away from work forever, but I also don't think she's the kind of person who wants to leave her kids with anyone that isn't family or a close friend. like, she isn't against daycare, of course, but I think Giselle would hate having to leave her baby at a center when she's able to be home herself. and Robert is a pretty successful lawyer. have you seen their apartment ? the director of the first movie said he and Patrick would often joke that he must be a millionaire if he lives in that building/that area. and I don't think Robert is that rich, of course, but I definitely think they're wealthy enough that Giselle can stay home if she wants.

With Moana 2 releasing in theaters in November, I can't help but compare Moana and her sister to Morgan and her sister since the age difference between them is similar, but the Moana team did the smart thing and aged up the little sister so that we can actually see the relationship with the two sisters.

A new addition to the cast I applaud the crew for managing to execute it well. It’s good to see that Moana’s younger sister is an actual character (unlike Infant!Sophie in Enchanted’s sequel) and their dynamic is slightly similar to Lilo and Nani’s. I know Moana’s younger sister will be a supporting character in the upcoming movie, but Moana 2’s antagonist Matangi, better start a revival of classical non-twist Disney Antagonists just to keep my expectations lowered.

I want to know about Tristan! How does xe feel about Cameron and other random facts please.

I don't think Tristan has any personal resentments toward Cameron - as that would mean feeling things, for starters - and more when xe does feel any ire toward Cameron it is more about the circumstance and re: Lucia. Cameron is treated with wariness and suspicion because they're so directly connected to this entire mess. If I remember right, I chose the 'I can be mature about this' option re: dealing with Cameron. [Though xe laughed when Theo was Theo at Cameron. Because while xe will be polite toward Cameron, it does make xem more uncomfortable than xe likes to admit. And there was something satisfactory about it on multiple levels.]

As for facts:

Tristan is in love with Viktor. I think everyone in their household knows except for Viktor, but I don't think Tristan realizes how obvious it is to the family? I think xe would be mortified if xe did. [I don't think Theo knows because Theo's been in it for so long, but I bet Charlie will notice.]

I also don't think xe realizes that it is in love in love but think it is just a crush. lmao.

Xe very rarely straightens xe's hair. Though they look good that way, but I think it is too tedious and I think also it bothers xem that some people saw it as 'more proper'

If xe DOES straighten xe's coils out, xe's prefers it more like a blowout. Still with definition. Also generally while xe's hair usually natural and down, xe's rocked the fulani braids and dreads.

One of xe's favorite colors to wear is blue and dark purple. I don't think blue is their favorite color [but dark purple might be]; however, it is really about the association to the sky.

Xe collects celestial things. Xe likes astronomy and probably astrology too, but xe's not an Astrology Girl [gn]TM. Though, xe'll probably answer questions if asked by xyr riends.

Xe is very loyal and Viktor's family, Viktor, and Theo mean the world to xem.

Xe is also a liar. Xe's good at it too. I feel it came from a defense mechanisms since xe was with the Riveras but also I think it is because xe is very reserved? And would rather come off as responsible and not someone who rocks the boat.

Xe's major is Law lmao.

In Disenchanted Giselle says the crickets composed a song just for them to say hello and Robert goes "oh! 🥰" bc she wasn't just saying something cute, she understands the animals so she was translating and he's so interested and impressed with what the crickets have to say and her ability to understand them and. In Enchanted when she was like "Pip said that-" he said "BeCaUsE tHe ChIpMuNk ToLd YoU sO??" But now he's like omg that's so nice of the crickets thank you for telling me my beloved multilingual wife. And that makes me sick in the head affectionately

Queen Narissa or Malvina Monroe?

Queen Narissa 's got more real bite and menace, and I've made a Backstory for her, so I feel like she's a deeper character even if it's just in my own head 😅.

That being said, I think Malvina actually was a lot of fun, loved her and Giselle's Villain Song! You could tell the actress was having a ball getting to evil queen it up.

I'd actually like to expand on her character/all of Monroeville tbh. There's a vibe there that says to me this town has more to it than meets the eye. Why the whole "fairytale" bit in the marketing? Why was such a seemingly prosperous and (well advertised ) town not recognized by anyone else? Why Malvina get magic in the altered version of the town but no one else? Who names their baby Malvina anyway?

Definitely been toying with a Storybrook-y background idea for Monroeville. In that it would have been founded by people from the Everrealm who came over into Our World (we know there are portals already from the one in New York--not to mention how easily they built one to Giselle's new house). Malvina could be second generation, born in Our World but to someone who flad from the Everrealm, possibly for using Dark Magic? Maybe she knows about her parent's backstory, maybe not.

But would explain why she was granted access to magic in Monrolasia, and why Monroeville has such a weird vibe to it even before, with how much control Malvina has over everything (very early Regina reminiscent). Maybe she's been subconsciously using magic for years to get what she wants. It would definitely explain her straight up Villain name xD

That being said I don't think non-Evil Queen Malvina is a bad person really. I think she's definitely got control issuses and gets carried away but at heart I don't think she's at all evil. And I'd like to explore all these points in a possible Enchanted 3 idea.

But I'd need to come up with an actual plot first x)

(Also while on the subject of Disenchanted, thought of an explination that could also explain the sort of plot hole of Giselle becoming a Wicked Stepmother when she told Morgan many step-mother's were actually kind and good.

Giselle and her ideas of what a Fairytale Stepmother should be are being influenced by the fact that's what everyone in Our World/Monroeville expects them to be, belief altering reality even more under the spell. After all she wished for a Fairytale life, not a 'life like in Andalasia'. In Andalasia life isn't a fairytale it's reality.)

How would you feel about a third Enchanted movie.

I'm not particularly enthused?

I thought the sequel was... okay. Mediocre, especially compared to the original, but good enough that I could enjoy watching it and it didn't ruin the first movie for me. Mainly it was salvaged by the acting.

I don't know how a third film would go, it feels unnecessary.

I do think there is potential, with a third film focused on Sophia, but I just think that would be better left to fanfiction.

IF disney released a third film with more runtime of 2D animation in high quality, I would go for it though. Just because I'm desperate for 2D western films again.

[🌶️]: mienna certainly isn’t one for grudges, but she certainly has a capacity for hate! and while she hasn’t met a lot of dreamlanders, she’s heard a few stories about the marx incident and the destruction of galactic nova. yeah, she doesn’t like him. at all. luckily for him, she doesn’t visit dreamland often enough to attack him on sight!

[🍻]: it varies depending on who she’s with! with people she’s less familiar with, she’s far more quiet. but with her closer friends like magolor or galacta knight, she tends to get a bit louder. not so loud that she stands out, though. overall, she leans towards sort-of quiet.

[🥯]: this one might be somewhat expected, but she used to have a bit of an obsession with galacta knight. or his legacy, at least. more fangirly than unhealthy, but it still affected their initial relationship. the idea of a star-destroying warrior sealed off somewhere in space was truly exciting to her! imagine meeting him - seeing for yourself whether his legend is true and deserved, or simply blown out of proportions. and she did get to meet him. he even ended up living with her. but seeing him slowly relax into his new life on popstar showed her that while he was a legend, he was still mortal. he might've been the greatest warrior in the galaxy, but he still had soft parts, and passions other than fighting, and a heart. she still adores him quite a bit, but after knowing him a bit better she knows that his legacy doesn't shape him as much as she thought it would.

[🍐]: social standing! she's been working as floralia's royal historian for quite some time, so she's paid pretty well. it doesn't land her above upper-middle class, though. but mienna's pretty satisfied with where she is in society!
