do you have any headcanons for what happened to giselle’s store now that she doesn’t have it?

I do !! but you're gonna have to listen to me ramble about canon a bit first, because I'm the number one Disenchanted defender 💖

There's actually nothing in the movie or novel that states Giselle lost her studio, and it lowkey (highkey) confuses me when people say she did. The movie fails to directly mention Andalasia Fashions, sure, but that doesn't automatically mean she lost/sold it ? And in the junior novel, Giselle tells Malvina she plans on opening a new studio in Monroeville (which she eventually does). So, the idea that Giselle gave up her job/stopped working and is nothing more than a stay at home wife/mother simply isn't true. But also, I think it's a bit silly that people are so mad at the possibility she might be a stay at home wife/mother. like why is that so offensive ?? She owned her dress business for ten years, and worked regularly, maybe she just wants a break?

I think a lot of people also forget, or simply missed the line about Sofia's age, but she's only a year old. She needs her mama, and Giselle doesn't have to go back to work yet if she doesn't want to. And Robert definitely makes enough to provide for their family on his own, so she doesn't really need to go back either. It's possible Giselle simply wanted to be home with her baby, and took a longer maternity leave because she could. And I don't really see why that's an issue.

Also, I never see anyone bring up the fact that Giselle is definitely dealing with postpartum depression ?? Like, she's so obviously depressed in the sequel, and you can't convince me that's not at least partially linked to the fact that she recently gave birth. It's possible she just wasn't in the right headspace to return to work yet.

Now, I do wish the movie had kept the line about her new studio in, for sure, and I don't get why it was cut, but at the end of the day, they never once mention Giselle closing it down, or losing it, or selling it, or giving up work completely. In fact, during the opening narration, Giselle is shown sleeping with fabric and sketchbooks around her. So, she could've been working from home, too.

It's also worth mentioning that in the jr. novel, Giselle is shown working in her studio, but she was overworking herself/not finishing until well after midnight, so again, my girl was simply exhausted, and needed a break 🤧

Okay, whew, sorry. Now that that's over, let's dive into my headcanons 🫡

Personally, I headcanon that her pregnancy was pretty hard on her. She was overjoyed, of course, and excited to have her baby, but it was still an exhausting, and overall not very fun pregnancy. I also hc that she ended up needing an emergency C-section, and all of this really took a toll on her mental health. This made the choice to return to work pretty difficult, and Giselle ended up taking a longer maternity leave.

I do think that she tried going back. Giselle tried to do a few days here and there, for a just a few hours, but it wasn't ever easy. Her head (and heart) just wasn't in it, and she eventually goes back on leave.

Then they move to Monroeville. Personally, I think Giselle kept Andalasia Fashions open, because I don't see why she'd close it (and canon never said she did). I think she still owns the business, and left May (Nancy's assistant from the first movie) in charge. I headcanon she and Giselle became really close once they started working together, and May had no issues taking over.

As I mentioned above, Giselle tells Malvina she plans on opening a new studio.

There's no timeline mentioned for when she opens it, but it's mentioned that she eventually opens it right next to Robert's law firm.

As much as I love the movie's ending, I think this ending is really sweet, and I would've love to see it. But I definitely consider it canon, and I have a small fic here (x) where she and Robert discuss opening their places side by side if you want to read 😋

So yeah. I think she's still the owner of Andalasia Fashions, and she definitely stops by, she's not ignoring it, but she regularly works in her new studio, A Fairy-Tale Life.

In short, yes, Giselle stopped working, but that's because she just had a baby, and she was battling with depression. I think she's far too restless to stay away from work forever, but I also don't think she's the kind of person who wants to leave her kids with anyone that isn't family or a close friend. like, she isn't against daycare, of course, but I think Giselle would hate having to leave her baby at a center when she's able to be home herself. and Robert is a pretty successful lawyer. have you seen their apartment ? the director of the first movie said he and Patrick would often joke that he must be a millionaire if he lives in that building/that area. and I don't think Robert is that rich, of course, but I definitely think they're wealthy enough that Giselle can stay home if she wants.

What got you into Trollhunters?

Well like most of my earliest interests (e.g sonic and tmnt respectively) I started off as more of a casual enjoyer then a fan/someone active in the fandom with the earliest memory I can recall being me rewatching the show right before the movie came out, after that I just stopped watching and got into other things.

The only reason why I got into it again was because I got into a conversation with my brother on old shows we enjoyed watching and I coincidentally remembered Trollhunters which domino-effected into me rewatching the entire series (three times now since getting my family to watch things with me is a nightmare), getting severe brainrot, realizing there's a book, getting said book which caused brainrot to double while crying in a corner seeing that barely anyone acknowledges the book, please read the book-

At the end of the day tho Trollhunters just checks all the box requirements that initially draws me into something which is 1. Being animated and 2. Having any sort of fantasy/whimsical elements to it

Absolutely living for all the renewed Mr. Tesseract theories and origin stores going around because he's just too perfect to continue the current story!?? I'd always pictured a Mobius variant eventually entering the picture, having succumbed to the power of the Tesseract after needing to save Loki in some way but never in a million years imagined before now that *our* Mobius could end up in that exact situation...

Plus tbh I almost feel Loki going about their self-sacrifice in such an isolated way, reliving all those centuries determined to find a solution without involving anyone else, had an obviously noble goal but a means in such a misguided way which has almost ensured Mobius will do something similar.

Mobius isn't okay. He's on a timeline that can never be his (partially to escape the memories of Loki by his side everywhere he looks in the TVA and hopefully so that back in the flow of time Loki can at least see him again as some form of company still), looking at a life I think he greatly admires but wouldn't personally want even given the choice, and seemingly the only one left directionless and without purpose with Loki being gone.

It wouldn't be a stretch to think loneliness would turn to frustration (because he's done nothing but repress *everything* in the past and deserves to finally burst and be angry and figure out how to express his emotions), confusion, and finally desperation at the thought he might be the only one who cares enough to burn things to the ground in an attempt to either find Loki again or bring him home. I've been headcanoning that similar to Loki in the last episode, Mobius will start putting himself more and more at risk searching for a solution and cut everyone at the TVA off while doing so to keep them from worrying about what he's getting involved in and stop him, which of course eventually leads right to the Tesseract as potentially one of the only methods left of traveling to what I assume is the end of time or somewhere similar.

Bonus points if Loki is watching every moment, unable to do a thing as the Mobius he knows slips further and further away while experimenting with the Tesseract until finally he can't see him on the timeline at all anymore, and as he mourns a crackle of blue energy opens nearby. Loki immediately realizes what's happened and calls desperately for Mobius, but when the figure who exits steps closer he's all cold, hard lines and an blank, electric blue stare. Temporary amnesia v4.0 let's go but make it even more angsty this time 😂😅 Eventually the Power of Love™ wins out of course but that's pretty much my dream arc for now!

Stardew Valley characters pick and thoughts please

oh i like stardew valley, yay!! also um. sorry this took like a week to answer i was trapped in the ever-expanding labyrinth and had a horrific yet dream-like experience that changed me as a person irrevocably. i had to fight the minotaur. you know how it is. (exams. i'm still doing them but i've got a little break so c:)

if we're only counting the vanilla game, my all-time favorite stardew character is harvey! he's just so sweet & dorky & he likes radio and jazz!! i like radio and jazz!!! i do not like planes though but i would be willing to learn. for him. he reminds me of someone irl and i just love him lots, he's very neat <3 i also really like elliot and maru!! elliot is so charming and gentlemanly and so silly & maru is so passionate about her interests and so silly also. i think they're very neat :3

when i was young my favorite characters were sebastian and abigail because i thought they were cool and i related with their relationships with their parents. i also liked shane because he reminded me of sans undertale (i REALLY liked sans undertale back then) but like. if sans undertale were a depressed alcoholic. and didn't make jokes. and liked chickens. and i don't even know why he reminded me of sans actually they have barely anything in common. i think it was the jacket maybe? so. i don't even like him anymore really. my tastes have changed since then & i think you can tell hehe

i have to admit i don't like some other characters...sam and emily mostly. idk sam always rubbed me the wrong way, he just seems kind of...inconsiderate? immature? like harvey, he reminds me of someone i knew. unlike harvey, this is bad. i did not like that person. emily i have less of a reason to not like, she just never clicked for me. idk man.

if we're counting modded characters however.... ridgeside village has such incredible characters. they're all fleshed out with their own personalities and routines and backstories and god i love that mod sososososo much!!!!! but if i had to choose my favorite.....jio. i just really like the "cool tough assassin soft only for their lover" trope and he delivers!!!! especially ever since he got a massive dialogue update. literally the one complaint i had was that his dialogue isn't very romantic until you marry him and now that that's been fixed with a massive dialogue overhaul (marriage dating AND friendship!!!) i've been having so much fun ♡ he's the reason i started getting back into stardew valley honestly. i put it down for a while but a year or so ago i saw this cool mod with this cool guy and boom, old hyperfixation renewed, hehe :3 there honestly isn't anyone i don't like in the mod, everyone is so cool and pretty and well-written i love all of them! there are a lot of other mods i could talk about (and i mean a LOT. i have 302 mods installed. the game takes twenty minutes to load.) but this is getting kind of long so probably i'll stop here.

i've been playing since the game was released (and the only reason my mom let me play this game when i was that young was because i sold it to her as a farming sim and not as a HomosexualTM dating sim) so i've got a lot of feelings about it! to me it represents both my childhood and a new future i'm making for myself if that makes sense. thanks for asking about it, i loved talking about it more than i thought i would <3

To say wildly differently still feels inherently lackluster, but it's a good start. Alright, let me touch on the first of the two. So to preface this, to me, Kafka does not come across in any capacity, as someone who would care to harbor the energy required to fuel a semblance of hatred towards anyone. More so than anything (and I think this is the much worse option of the two), throughout the game as we've been shown so far, I would argue that she displays a semblance of indifference and worse still, she presents herself with a sense of contempt towards many of them. Now, I have to note, this is not representative of a well-formed opinion of any individual or their character following any time spent with them, it is very much a 'default' mindset of sorts that has always dictated her view of people. You can take her by surprise and impress her during a first encounter, but those chances are slim, and if you miss said feat, we know that obtaining a second chance is even slimmer. She simply doesn't engage with most people long-term, which is inherently tied to this notion of 'boredom'. It is, honestly, as Blade said in her SQ after all: "I've yet to see anyone follow her for as long as you did... and live to tell the tale." She simply... grows bored. So how does all of this manifest in terms of greeting? There would be no actual ignorance — although she might attempt it towards someone a little too peppy, like for instance March 7th (I'm sorry, March) — but there would be a very strong air of nonchalance. An 'oh, it's you' in an obviously irritated tone would be perfectly in-character, but hey see it this way, at least it's indicative that she remembers you, right? That's already a bit of a compliment, I'd say.

As for someone that she genuinely likes (love is a big word, more on that a different day or if [/when] that comes about), there are two to three options. Look at Silver Wolf (and Elio, but he stands entirely on his own with this), someone that she's come to appreciate, she is a perfect example of someone who engages her mind just enough to keep her interest, but it also helps that I don't believe that SW and her are constantly around one another. It's the concept of 'absence makes the heart grow fonder', or rather— when you're consistently around someone else, you get used to them, and inevitably learn enough to a point where they become part of your 'routine' and they fall into this notion of normality. That equals boredom, for someone with the nature of Kafka. But, you can tell they're not quite there any way, there's even a hint of (in my opinion) that trademark 'disinterest' tone of Kafka's present in this conversation. But I digress, that's simply aimed at the topic at hand and it leans into what I said before: not everything has her interest. But look, Silver Wolf re-engages with her and you can tell Kafka regains interest. But anyway, I digress still! I'm terrible, I know.

When it comes to the other, or two, options: you're looking at the Trailblazer and Blade respectively. With the Trailblazer, especially since Kafka's SQ, she is not reactionary, she very much initiates the contact, she's curious and so she engages, but her dynamic with him/her is entirely unique, so do take this with a grain of salt. Regardless of how one chooses to react, Kafka is always the initiator of contact, and if she's turned down, she will attempt to re-engage or will prompt minor pity and/or guilt, for it is just one of many games that she plays (even if the intent behind it is to obtain and hold their attention for as long as she craves it, due to genuine interest). She is playful in her approach, but will still be direct if the situation calls for it.

As for Blade, he is rather equally as unique in the attention that he receives from her (and in the way he receives it), and honestly, since Kafka's SQ, he definitely warrants his own meta post in the future as it's a lot more complicated than meets the eye (in my opinion, any way). But to touch on it slightly, there is an element of warmth in her approach of him due to... I can't say that it is a shared experience, but there's an inherent understanding between the two of them, and there is also, arguably, a dependency from Blade of Kafka (in a meta post coming to a dashboard near you in the future; I could argue vice versa as well but vastly differently so, but this plays into theories for Kafka's 'goal' with the SH) which forces them to share space. And considering neither of them seem to be (Blades, correct me if wrong) ones to actively seek social engagement, this has created an intriguing dynamic. Furthermore, while Blade comments on the Trailblazer's prolonged presence in Kafka's life, he inherently implies with this that he has been there to witness it, he remembers it, this also means he had defies and continues to defy that same reality. As to not continue on an ages long tangent as I plan to do in the above-mentioned planned meta, I'll leave you with this: it is a vastly different warmth than what the Trailblazer receives, but it is also, in my opinion, one much the same. Stay tuned, and I sincerely apologize for the intense ramble!

Silence. The silence was killing them- they didn’t even know what they did wrong as they saw their precious human woman talking to Cade like it was no big deal that they hadn’t spoken to their lover in hours. They had thought maybe she just didn’t hear me or was too busy to notice. But that thought was quickly replaced when they noticed she was able to talk to everyone else just fine.

What they didn’t know was that (Y/N) was just testing their patience to see how long they could go before they got mad at her for playing such games.

Enough was enough.

Optimus:

Optimus POV

Optimus watched and waited until (Y/N) was alone to approach her so that she would be forced to talk to him. Optimus walked up to her before kneeling before her. He gently put his hand down for her to climb onto hoping that she would accept his silent invitation. When she climbed onto his hand he thanked the stars that she didn’t seem to be as mad as he thought she originally was. He then stood and walked away from the group enough to have some privacy as he spoke to her. 

Once at the spot that was hidden and far away enough, he sat down on the ground and held her up so he could look at her but her head was stubbornly turned away from him. Optimus sighed softly as he gently placed his finger under her chin and carefully turned her head to look at him. Longing shined in his optics. “Sweetspark… have I done something so wrong that you no longer wish to speak to me?” Optimus asked (Y/N) with his deep voice as his head gently moved to look her in the eyes.

(Y/N)’s POV:

Your heart ached as you looked at him and heard the genuine worry in his tone. The silent treatment was over for you the moment you saw and heard the hurt he tried so hard to hide. “No no no, Optimus- I-... I was just being childish- you did nothing wrong. Believe me, you did nothing-,” you rambled before he cut you off.

“But you have stopped speaking to me. You are not one to do such things without reason,” Optimus interrupted.

You tried to think of a reason that wouldn’t make him angry at you, “Bee told me to do it.” Really? Well, at least it’s believable. You think in your head as you give a sheepish smile and gently reach forward to cup his cheeks. “I’m sorry, Optimus. I didn’t realize how upset you would get,” you say softly as you place gentle kisses on his face making him close his eyes softly in relief. 

“Please don’t play such games again. My spark burns for you and you alone. It can’t accept you being so upset with me,” he says softly in an almost uncharacteristically soft way.

“I promise. Do you forgive me?” you ask.

“Of course.” He says as he gently touches his forehead to yours.

Bumblebee:

You were just saying goodbye to Cade as you walked away and towards the rest of the group. Unbeknownst to you, Bee was watching with desperate eyes as he waited for you to come to him, but when he saw you walk the opposite way he became frustrated.

You were walking while looking at your phone when you heard a quiet whine and then loud footsteps that came rushing up behind you before you could even react, you were lifted up by Bee before he quickly transformed into the Camaro where you’re in the driver’s seat and buckled in before he speeds off at high speeds into the desert. You let out a yelp at the sudden and quick change as you watch the speedometer climb. 

“Bee! What are you doing?! You’re going too fast!” You say slightly panicked as you hold onto the door handle and the armrest desperately. 

“Shouldn’t have ignored me, babygirl,” Bee’s radio said as he changed through the stations to communicate his frustration, “now we ride!” he finished before purposefully swerving and doing donuts in the empty desert making you let out a shriek and a loud nervous laugh realizing how annoyed he was by your silent treatment.

“Ok! Ok! I’m sorry, Bee! I- I’m going to be sick!” you say between giggles as he finally stops and transforms into his humanoid form with you cupped in both of his hands as he rubs his mouthpiece against your face affectionately in a playful manner. 

“My honeypie, my sugarpie, my princess, my babygirl, my hot mama!” his radio blasted as he switched through channels making you laugh out loud as you grabbed his head and kissed his mouth piece over and over in loving affection. 

“You’re so annoying- you know that? You’re lucky you’re cute and I love you so much,” you say to him as you look into his eyes with a softened, fond smile.

“I’m lucky I have ya darlin’,” his radio switched to a cowboy accent that spoke so softly making the moment more loving and intimate.
