you know somewhere in my drafts i have the demon james origin story and there was a very similar idea to this so yes its canon. reg will spritz him with the evil bottle and james will hiss and stick to the ceiling where he is unreachable and he will probably sneeze funnily. im still not convinced if james is more of a demon or a hell spawn cat.

also i feel like he would have some very ironic allergy like pollen for example bc the signs of spring, rebirth and new life are too good and angelic and make him itch
