I usually get a little antsy about putting information about me out there (the "don't say your name or your age or anything about you on the internet" assemblies from ye days of old was thoroughly beat into me head lol), but I've done enough of these and feel comfortable enough with everyone I interact with for this to not be te case now🎊

Last Song: Garden of Eden by Lady Gaga (from the new album! It feels like a current day version of 2000s her, so I for the most part like it - I was also listening to it to push myself to finish one of the last questions I had for my assignment💀)

Favourite Colour: Lots of shades of green, but mostly sage, dark emerald and hunter green (yeah, I'm that person that's that particular about the shades, I'm sorry). Also blue, but mostly duck egg blue. Teal - I still don't know if it's more blue or more green lol. And black. Kind of. It's my favourite colour to wear for sure.

Last Book: Seasons Come To Pass by Helen Moffet. It's more a collection of poems than a book (I suppose, and it's mostly for my assignment lol). But if it has to be one for leisure then... Finding Me: A Memoir by Viola Davis. That was a while back I'm ngl.

Last Movie: Entergalactic by Kid Cudi (my comfort movie).

Last Game: Stardew Valley

Last Show: Lucifer

Sweet/Spicy/Savoury: Savoury most of the time, sweet sometimes, spicy on rare occasions (because I get heartburn pretty easily and refuse to put myself through it more).

Relationship: Single. I've almost always been single, and answering this question is as willing I am to think about that💀.

Brennan’s talked before about how as a poor young adult he lived in New York and struggled with food security. He tells a story of going to frozen yogurt places for free samples and a cheap dumpling spot because it was a lot of food.

His opinions on food and his described behaviours around food make a lot of sense in that context. He may be successful now and can be assured he can eat again when he’s hungry, but it appears he has legitimate trauma around his experiences with poverty because what he’s humorously describing is a trauma response. His mind hasn’t gotten rid of the anxiety of “I’m eating now so I better make it count because I don’t know when I will again.”

Because he’s a comedian he manages to frame it as a joke, but there’s certainly an underlying sadness. It also informs Evan Kelmp’s characterization. Capitalism is the root issue here and poverty is state-sanctioned economic abuse.

Anyway, I hope he’s doing well and taking care of himself.

Danny loses his parents due to their own lack of safety in the lab (death? Coma? People finally putting their foot down about the Fenton's endangering their kids? Idk pick). Jazz can't take him in due to being in college and living on its campus (and he didnt want to force her into an apartment just to keep him, he saw the prices and knows she'll have to work to make rent) and Danny fears the only place he can go to is... Vlad. (Sam's parents would never let him live with her and Tucker's place doesn't have the room)

Vlad's been lording it over Danny, smug about it all, after all he IS Danny's godfather and he has the space and money to provide for the boy in his time of need.

Only, when digging into Danny's files, his social worker discovers Vlad isn't Danny's godfather, he was meant to be but the Fenton's forgot to send/sign in the final paperwork (even if those documents were the only contact they had with Vlad over the years before the reunion)

No Danny's godparent, the person to take him should anything happen to the Fenton's is....

(This is just a fun “what if” so bear with me-) I know we make mention of the potential for Krang remnants to be stuck with Raph and/or Donnie, but Mikey and Leo also had a moment with the other two where a type of Krang goop was crawling beneath their skin (this being immediately after Raph broke free.)

So I raise you the potential for all four of them to have a bit of that Krang parasite on them…and for that to have unforeseen consequences.

Do you have any favorite TWEWY ships? Any popular ones that don’t click? I’m all over the place, and even though my normal fandom lens isn’t very shippy, I think SO many ships are sweet. TWEWY characters are good...

when i played the first TWEWY as a kid i was wayyy into Neshiki (this may have been one of Baby's First Ships actually) which is kind of basic...but i'm still basic because i STILL think it's really cute and sweet.....only difference is now is i ship Neku with ALL his partners FLKJ:LKH...all their dynamics are just so sweet.......the polycule ends with you.....

i enjoy Frindoka also...thinking about them just hanging out and getting to experience Normal Teen Romance Drama after All That Bullshit just makes me smile :)

i don't even really know what ships are popular tbh (i am currently locked into a state of Shoka Hyperfixation Tunnel Vision where TWEWY content is concerned) but i think the only ship i've seen and didn't really get was Minamimoto/Beat.....is it because Minamimoto almost super-murders Beat that one time...? no idea. i can respect it though. i see no difference, love is love!!!
