last year i finally read "all that's said in the low light" by headlocket which i feel like has developed its own reputation by now, but just in case you don't know - it's kind of known in the fandom as a massive tearjerker. As promised, I cried buckets over it and it left an enormous impact on me.

I drew this comic (after getting permission from headlocket) as a what if on a situation in chapter 12, where Simon goes through a period of radio silence from Johnny after essentially giving him his blessing to date other people, the utter clown. We only see it from Johnny's side, who is really going through it, but the mental image of Simon staring at a slew of his own unread messages really stuck with me...did he think this was it? That that shitshow of a conversation he had with Johnny might've been the last they ever had? What if Johnny just never responded to him again? Did he regret giving him permission?

this is so lmao i just keep thinking about the other parents at school only being familiar with daniel bc he's the one in charge of picking the kid up, they know his partner is a man bc the kid proudly announced that he has two daddies at the first day but that's the most they know so one birthday party daniel arrives holding max's hand and the parents can't not stare bc not only max younger than they had imagined but he's the youngest adult in the room, everybody is in their middle to late 30s... they try to get some info from daniel like if the kid is from one of daniel's previous relationships or how long he and max have been together but daniel is so unapologetic about their relationship that all the questions pass through him and max doesn't give a shit about any of the other parents, he just plays with the kids or talks to daniel and daniel and the other parents have a good cordial relationship but daniel thinks it's weird how the other moms at the pick up line always seem to find a way to ask about max lmao

Wanted to share some photos of my first bind! @roguedruid 's fic Hero Class Civil Warfare is absolutely God Tier™ and it was the first bnha fic I ever read.

As this was my first bind I've got a few notes: first, I used the complete wrong paper weight so this book is deceptively chonky (not to say it isn't long, but still); second it was first bind so I didn't do anything too ambitious with the cover.

Anyways, I'm really pleased with it and I'm happy to share it! @roguedruid I hope I did your amazing work justice!

Honestly Sirius learning about all the shit that’s happened to Harry at Hogwarts is gonna be so fucking funny cause like, there’s no way Harry’s gonna be able to remember everything and tell it all in chronological order, so Sirius is going to be having heart attacks over what Harry had told him, and THEN Harry makes an off handed comment about like, Dobby’s bludger and Lockhart vanishing the bones is his arm and Sirius just. Bluescreens. And Harry’s like “sorry I forgot to tell you that, it’s just one of the minor things that sort of gets forgotten about, ykwim?” And Sirius has to suppress a scream. Harry. Harry. How the fuck is something like that minor. What the fuck is going on.

ok no but this is actually how it’s gonna go down haha ( or atleast how i picture it in my head lol) like harry’s trying to give his godfather the highlights, but it stands to reason he’ll miss out on (or deliberately omit) certain facts but because our kid has developed a hide of dark humor wrapped around his trauma, he WILL drop it in casual conversation one day. sirius is praying to james and lily every single day like ‘raising a kid cannot be this hard can it??? you two couldn’t be normal even in this one thing???’

harry could only smile at seeing his badly hidden panic. it was always such a treat to discombobulate the man, because he was so irritatingly composed most of the time. harry had to get his kicks in where he could.
