I think constantly about Pudding and Sanji being obviously parallels of each other and how fucked up it is that Pudding had to live the life Sanji managed to escape but she constantly gets hate online as if she hadn't been literally manipulated by her mother through the whole fucking arc. “Orpheus doesn’t love Eurydice he’s obsessed with her and worships her!” Yeah the show does a pretty bad job at showing that, at worst he just made songs for her and asked her to be on his album cover (which she had the choice to refuse), isn’t that literally any woman’s dream relationship? Isn’t that how all artists express their love for their partner? Why is it portrayed as a bad thing while Eurydice and Caeneus’s bland rushed relationship is portrayed as good? Why is our idea of this myth from Eurydice’s perspective mean that she secretly doesn’t love him? Why couldn’t she still love him but have issues like in Supergiant’s Hades?

god i could gnaw on conchata's Issues forever. when miguel is like mom stop pretending to be terminally ill to get us to visit it really upsets gabriel and me, and conchata - who hates the thought of hurting gabriel and believes miguel is too self centered to care - utterly dodges thinking on the fact she's hurt gabriel, because she doesn't want to believe she's hurt him, and then accuses miguel of not being affected at all. the dysfunction is so fucking tasty.

not even touching the fact miguel genuinely has been ghosting conchata because he sucks at emotional vulnerability yeah, but because he thinks talking to his mother is futile, that he innately hurts her by virtue of being too much like his father.
