Her being drunk wasn't unusual, and in fact, it has become the norm for her at this point. It was the only way for her to numb the agony she was going through every day, and there was no stopping the cycle she was in. If she wasn't drunk, then she was fighting. But even the line that was drawn between those two states she was constantly in was becoming blurry and unintelligible. Things were getting out of hand, and so was her aggression towards everything that moved, anything that cared for her.

But at least you were still here with her, trying your best to keep her together and intact when she refused to be.

She can be cruel and unfocused whilst drunk, often either yelling or punching things to express her frustrations, and yet she never dared hurt you. You were the only light she had left, and she'd be damned if she snuffed you out, too. But this doesn't mean that she can control her words at times. She says things she regrets all the time, insults that cut deep or accusations that made no sense were common. Yet you stayed, you always stayed.

A part of her knows you deserve better, but until Jinx showed up, she refused to wane off the bottle that kept her even partially functioning daily. In a different life, she'd put the bottle down, however, and just finally hug you instead.

》CAITLYN

She doesn't drink much, and when she does, it's in strict moderation. She has a reputation to keep up and can't let her sharp senses falter at any time, especially once she becomes the commander of Piltover. But when it's just the two of you attempting to relax after an impossibly stressful day, the alcohol helps her relax and become more open with her troubles. Her grief had manifested into an uncontrollable force she shyed away from every speaking on, but in drunken moments like these, she'll allow herself to find melancholy in your arms, her flushed face pressed into your shoulder as she did so.

She may cry or laugh of the worries of the day, maybe break down from the guilt and frustrations, let the anger quell over but only still hesitantly even with her judgment clouded. This is a very rare state to see her in after the loss of her mother, and she trusts you to keep this vulnerable part of her safe and sound in your heart behind locked lips.

With that said, knowing how emotional she can get whilst drunk, she tries avoiding drinking too much during functions in case things get too much out of hand. She'd rather not make a fool of herself infront of everyone after all.

She doesn't typically drink. But the few times she does with you at her side, she somehow becomes extremely calm and lazy. She'll practically lay in the chair she was sitting in, eyes squinting at a far away point on the wall, whilst she seemingly contemplates life. Most would think that the alcohol would enable her crazy tendencies even more, but alas, it simply turns her mostly docile.

I say mostly, as she usually mentally comes up with the craziest plans instead, all of which are questionably more unethical than the last. She'll eventually lose herself in those thoughts and become either unresponsive or mutter the silliest, incomprehensible things known to man. And there is certainly no in-between.

With that said, she will probably eventually snap out of it and begin rapidly speaking about all these thoughts to you without a single care in the world. Drunk Jinx is somehow less miserable and yet absolutely doesn't like the feeling of it afterward. Sure, it makes her mind stop thinking about her issues and past, but it still feels wrong, hence why it's rare to see her drunk.

Her terrible hangovers alone also cause her to stay away from alcohol in general. It's definitely not worth that pain to her.

》EKKO

Another person who doesn't drink often at all, albeit out of his responsibility as a leader. He has to be a good role model for everyone and only drinks when the occasion calls for it, like a festival or get together with friends and you. That's when he lets loose a little and allows himself to drink more than he probably should, resulting in a very clingy and loving Ekko.

His alcohol tolerance is embarrassingly low, and he always tells himself that he should know better than to down so many glasses at once... yet it's hard to keep count after about 2 and a half of them. Or so he'd say after he sobers up in the morning, much to your amusement. During the time he's fully hammered, though, he'll always have a hand in you and slur his words rather heavily, whilst he practically near proclaims his love for you for everyone to hear. This often results in you having to slap a hand over his mouth before he embarrasses himself further... which is somehow he hates.

He gets teased by the others all the time for it and glares when they mock his loving tone of voice that he only uses when he's in that impaired state with you. This alone makes him abstain from even a singular drop of alcohol... until the next festival roles around and he forgets to keep count again.

But hey, maybe he'll remember next time because you sure as hell won't remind him.

》SEVIKA

She drinks at bars all the time with you, although it's rare to see her ever get completely drunk. She has an extremely high tolerance to alcohol and it shows when there is barely a difference in her behavior. The only thing that may indicate something influencing her would be a slight slur in her voice and her being unwilling to get up or move around much at all. She'll just want to relax and play poker in peace, even if it starts getting hard to see the cards after a while.

Another way to tell that she may be getting drunk is by her sudden overprotectiveness. Sure, it was always there and never left, despite you being able to handle yourself alone. But when she's drunk, anyone that looks at you for too long in a way she doesn't like will either be punched in the face or yelled at to keep it moving.

She also definitely always denys being drunk or even tipsy when you ask her. Whether out of pride or stubbornness, you'll never know, but she will never admit to it. It doesn't matter if she denies it whilst being unable to walk straight either.

What being Paul’s imprint would be like.

Being Paul’s imprint would require A LOT of patience.

He has a soft spot for you, so his anger wouldn’t be taken out on you or directed much toward you, but that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t see his bad side. When someone in the pack pisses him off he usually gets upset and phases. They fight it out, and then he comes home. He is either still upset or wants serious attention. If it’s the former expect some attitude and him taking it out on basically everything else but you. He might be aggressive with things, slamming things down and being loud. You would probably need to give him some time to cool off some more before trying to comfort him. If it’s the latter then you will have to have a cuddle session, his favorite position is laying in the bed or couch with his head in your chest and you playing with his hair and talking about your day. Your voice soothes him and calms him down, so he likes it when you talk to him. He could care less what you talk about, you could tell him about your day, or how much you hate that one girl in your math class because she chews gum loudly, you could literally talk about anything and he would be content. 

Being Paul’s imprint means a lot of love and affection.

When he isn’t on patrol, he is with you. He will be on you and hugging you all of the time. Now if you have trauma with affection or just don't like to be touched he would 100% respect your boundaries, but he would try and find small ways to show and get affection. Like holding your hand or even just touching his pinky against yours when you are next to each other. He would find ways that wouldn’t make you uncomfortable and was still getting his needs met. He doesn’t mind showing his affection in front of others either, he could give less of a fuck if the pack teases him. He loves you and doesn’t care who knows it. At the beginning of your relationship, he was very careful, learning what you liked and what you disliked. He was also very subtle with his affection but he still craved it just as much as he does now. He would softly play with the hair on the back of your head while talking by the fire, small and soft touches here and there, he would DEFINITELY do that thing where guys softly touch your waist while moving behind you.

Being Paul's imprint means you would spend a lot of time with the other imprints.

You would probably be close with the other imprints. Having a werewolf boyfriend isn’t exactly normal. You might feel alone or lost a bit in the beginning. Paul was one of the first to phase, which means you most likely were also one of the first imprints. Especially if you knew Paul before the transition. Emily was one of the first imprints you met, she was so sweet and welcoming to you, and your bond turned into a sibling relationship. She treated you like family right away and made sure you knew that you were always welcome. You met the others as they became a part of the family and now you spend a lot of your time with them. You do a bunch of group things together, shopping, baking, cooking, movie nights, and of course bonfires. You all enjoy each other's company. The boys are on patrol a lot and it helps everyone get their minds off of missing them. 

Being Paul’s imprint means late-night texts and calls.

Again, the boys are on patrol any time of the day or night. When Paul takes the night shift he makes sure to update you and let you know that he is safe. He is also expecting the same from you. He misses your voice, especially when your schedule gets busy and you can’t see each other as much. Sometimes he’s able to slip away for a second to see you, give you a hug and a kiss and then he is back out patrolling. He does it more often if he is patrolling near your house, mainly so he can do it quickly before Sam notices that he is missing and makes him come back.

Being Paul’s imprint means he is VERY protective of you.

He is already a protective person, it doesn’t matter if it is his friend, family, or even a stranger. He will take a bullet for someone he doesn’t know, it’s just in his nature. For you on the other hand, he would take that bullet and then hunt the person who shot it down until they beg you for forgiveness for even daring to THINK about hurting you, all the while he is still bloody and hurt. His protectiveness also correlates with his jealousy. He is a very jealous person when he is in a relationship. Even though you are his imprint he still can’t help but let the green-eyed monster loose whenever another person hits on you or checks you out. He knew you were hot, but you were for his eyes only. Being a werewolf means having to control your anger, but Paul was never really good at that, so most of the time it was you who had to calm him down. You didn’t want your boyfriend to maul someone, especially not in public. You were the only person who could calm him down fully, you would reach for him with your soft touch and everything else would fade away. Sometimes all you had to do was give him a stern look and he would cool himself off not wanting to make you upset. It bothered you sometimes how angry he would get, you tell him all the time that he is the only one for you and he has nothing to worry about but he still lets his jealousy get in the way of reasoning.

you take a bad hit during a game.

some things weren't meant to be joked about. you knew that you could be a bit dramatic, often treating little things like they were big deals. you weren't sure when it had become funny to you to see the look of concern on your teammates' faces whenever you'd go down for a few seconds too long before they realized that you were fine. you knew that it wasn't really funny, but you liked having the knowledge that someone genuinely cared for you.

el classico matches were big deals, and jonatan made you promise to be on your best behavior if you wanted to start. mapi was out on injury, so she wouldn't be there to spur you on towards trouble. everybody seemed to understand the impact of this particular match, it was alexia's first el classico since her injury.

"good luck today, la reina." your tone was cheery and playful, usually something the girls knew meant trouble. however, you genuinely were trying to be on your best behavior. none of them mentioned it, but you could feel them watching you closely throughout the warm ups.

the game iself wasn't what you had expected. you had played in big matches before, where tensions were high and players tended to be a bit aggressive. several girls had nearly trucked through you, and the refs didn't seem to be paying much attention of any of it. you were getting frustrated, and the playfulness from before faded away. the girls were still watching you, but they weren't paying enough attention to notice the switch.

you took a shot that was knocked out of bounds by the keeper, resulting in a corner. you thought your position was good, near the goal, but a bit further away from defenders and misa. she had been putting in the work to block your shots, even going as far as complimenting you on your progress during half-time.

"it's up!" you shouted as you jumped up to head the ball in. you felt something collide with your stomach, knocking you backwards before you could hit the ball. your body was shot back a few feet. alexia had always nagged you about your positioning during corners, claiming that it tended to be in dangerous spots. as you flew backwards towards the goal post, you realized just what she meant.

your head hit the post with a sickening crack. it wasn't a thud, and you didn't move an inch. misa immediately moved to crouch down next to you. she didn't know what to do, but anger filled her as she realized that none of your teammates were coming over to check on you. they all assumed that you were faking it. it wasn't until you hadn't moved for a couple of minutes that any of them sprung into action.

ingrid was the first one by your side. she knelt down next to you and gently moved your head to see where it hit. a wave of nausea washed over her as she saw the blood dripping out from the back of your head. if it wasn't for the small, shallow breaths, ingrid would have thought you were dead.

"pequena, come on, wake up," ingrid pleaded with you. alexia was the next one by your side. it took every ounce of her strength not to just break down as she looked at you. "she's not moving alexia. i don't know what to do."

"we have to let them take her. she'll probably wake up at the hospital," alexia said. it was more for herself than ingrid. she didn't want to finish the game anymore. alexia didn't want to do anything until she knew that you were alright. there wasn't a player on the field who wasn't in some form of distress over what they saw happen to you. for a moment, the whole world seemed to care about you, but you weren't awake to see it.

it took nearly two days for you to stablize, and even longer for you to wake up. your parents had stopped by, but only briefly. they had been back in barcelona on business when the game was going on. it was a lucky break that they had been able to show up, despite the fact that you were their only child.

alexia was sickened by the way they dismissed you, even as you laid there in a coma. she may have been the most strict with you and always at her wit's end with your pranks, but alexia loved you. she wanted to protect you, and seeing you in the hospital bed killed her. still, she didn't let herself break down in fear that you'd wake up to see her like that.

"it's been nearly a week," lucy said as she glanced at your bed. "have they said anything?"

"the swelling in her brain is still going down. they've only just been able to go in and repair the damage to her skull. we're all lucky that she didn't hit her head in any other spot or she'd be dead," alexia said. she was just repeating what the doctor had rattled off in rapid spanish back to her english teammate. you had always been fond of lucy, and so lucy decided that she'd stay in your hospital room with you.

"she'll make it out of this, alexia. (y/n), she's a tough little brat," lucy said. alexia needed the reassurance almost as much as she needed you to wake up.

"thank you." alexia reached out to hold lucy's hand. it was as she started to pull hers out of yours that she felt movement. you tried to squeeze her hand and pull it back towards you as you stirred in your sleep. alexia didn't want to get too excited, but lucy shot straight up from her seat.

"(y/n), are you awake?" you heard lucy's voice, but it sounded muffled and a bit echoed. alexia leaned closer towards you as your eyes fluttered open. you let out a small groan at all of the bright lights and your body's sudden discomfort. your head hurt in a way that sent waves of pain all over your body.

"ale, i hurt," you whined. alexia had tried so hard to keep herself composed, and for the most part, it had worked. however, the moment that you looked at her with pain and confusion in your eyes, the dam broke. alexia's head shot down to rest against the side of your bed, but you could tell from the way that her body shook that she was crying. "ale?"

"it's okay, (y/n), she needs this. i'll be right back, okay? i have to get the doctors and call the team," lucy said. you nodded, obviously not going anywhere. lucy was back fairly quickly, and alexia was rushed outside as the doctors caught you up on what happened and ran a few tests. by the time that they were finished, the majority of the team had arrived and were all packed into your room.

"i am glad that you're okay," alexia said as she took your hand in hers. it had taken a couple of hours for the team to stop doting on you, but now things felt normal again. you felt like you were in the locker room, with the exception of alexia, who hadn't left your side. "you scared us all back there… including me. especially me, actually. i'm so sorry that i wasn't there sooner, i don't know what i would have done if you'd…"

"i'm fine, alexia, so you don't have to think like that. mapi's taking me back with her because my parents just left for america and won't be back for another six months. ingrid will be practically begging you for help supervising us," you said with a smile. alexia cracked a small one as well. she was a little fuzzy on the details of your relation to mapi, as was everybody, but the woman had always treated you like her little sister. all anybody needed to know was that you were her family, and all you needed to know was that mapi would always be there for you.

You had been practicing your new choreography for weeks, excited for the upcoming performance. Sunghoon had always supported your passion for dancing and singing, admiring the way you always performed with grace and confidence. Both of your fans loved and adored your relationship, but unfortunately that wasn’t enough reassurance for Sunghoon as he would get jealous over the littlest things.

The night before the award show, you had decided to perform your choreography in the practice room for him.

The dance was definitely sensual as it was full of sneaky glances and suggestive movements. As you danced around the room, lost in the music, you imagined yourself on stage. But there was one part of the routine that you hadn't shared with Sunghoon until now.

A part where you had to dance with another man. It was just part of the act, a bit of playful interaction solely meant to entertain and hype up the crowd. As you mimicked the motions, you couldn’t help but notice Sunghoon’s jaw tightening as he watched.

His eyes blackened, the jealousy becoming more evident. "Fun? Dancing with another guy like that is fun for you?"

His fists clenched at his sides, the veins on his hands bulging aggressively. Possessiveness began firing in his eyes, making your heart race uncontrollably as you knew what was about to happen.

You stepped closer. "You know I don’t get to choose the gender of my dancers Sunghoon. Plus, it’s just for a performance, right? It doesn’t mean anything I swear." you said softly, hoping to calm him down with your quiet tone.

But Sunghoon couldn’t shake the image from his mind, the thought of your body so close to another man and being able to have his hands all over you. He pulled you closer, his grip fierce but gentle. "Show me," he said, "Show me how you dance with him."

He watched your every move as you began to dance again, the heat between you two rising with every step you took.

When you moved to spin away, his hand extended out, catching your wrist and pulling your back against his chest swiftly. "No," he whispered, his voice a rough growl in your ear. "You don’t get to dance with him. You’re mine."

“But Sunghoon—“

He pinned you against the mirror as he relaxed his other hand onto your waist.

His lips brushing against your ear before trailing down to the flesh on your neck. "Let me show you who you really belong to." he hummed, the warmth of his breath radiating onto you.

“Could he ever fuck you as good as I do?” Sunghoon asked, his tone deepened as he nuzzled his nose into your neck. “I bet his dick wouldn’t be able to satisfy you like mine does.”

Sunghoon turned you around again, but this time with more force. “W-what are you doing?”

“I want you to watch yourself while I fuck you.” he groaned, rubbing his hard bulge against the softness of your ass.

“S-sunghoon” you whimpered softly, all of your frustration towards him melting away as you felt his erection pressed in between your cheeks.

“Yes princess?” he teased, grabbing you by the neck to make you face your reflection in the mirror as soon as you tried to look away in embarassment. “S-stop it, we can’t do this right now” you stuttered.

“Let’s see if you’re still thinking about him when I’m done with you.” he smirked. He began kissing you, exploring your mouth and smudging all of the lipgloss you had on.

He impatiently stripped you naked before undressing himself.

There was no more talking after that. You both communicated in moans and heavy breaths. His hands touching you everywhere, as if he was claiming his territory. You could feel the jealousy in every touch, every kiss. He was desperate in the way he held you, as if he needed to prove something, not just to you but to himself.

And you let him. You loved him like this, wild and possessive, showing you with every thrust that you were his and only his no matter what.

When you finally fell apart, breathless and still tangled in each other’s grip, the tension in the air had completely disappeared. He pulled you closer, his desire now replaced by a deep and satisfied contentment as he held you closely, skin against skin.

“Mine,” he murmured again, this time softer, as if he needed to remind himself.

Restless nights are the worst. Being unable to do the one thing you want and need most in the world is making you go crazy. You sigh heavily as you try and force yourself to sleep. Tossing and turning in bed everything catching your attention besides tiredness. It's annoying you deeply.

You completely give up after you see the clock, 12 am. You have things to do tomorrow and you just know you're going to be tired but oh well. Your body doesn't want to cooperate, your mind doesn't want to shut the hell up, it's like nothing wants to do what you need.

You have nothing to do, it's literally midnight the whole world should be asleep. So why can't you get to sleep? The question that you keep asking yourself night after night as you restlessly scroll through social media. Nothing is interesting you long enough, everything is boring and annoying. Gosh this is really starting to piss you off.

The main reason you were trying to even go to sleep at better times was for your boyfriend. You'd told him about how your nights were going and he instantly called it "insomnia". Izuku was nothing more than a heavens sent, he loves having you over and loves sleeping with you! Unfortunately it's not exactly allowed to have the opposite gender in your rooms after hours.

Normally you two would just sneak to one another, however recently aizawa has been doing dorm checks and caught you two in the bed with each other. He barred you two from seeing each other after hours. It was literally like your soul had been ripped out of you. You seem to sleep better under izukus watch, next to him in bed, his body heat warming you comfortably.

Yet now that you don't have it you feel like you're going crazy. You another heavy sigh leaving you, you figure you have no other choice. You'd have to wake your boyfriend. It hurts your heart even just thinking about waking him, you knew he was asleep by now and understood he needed it. You contemplated even texting him but it's like your fingers were moving on their own.

Reading that text your anger completely disappeared, literally evaporating at the thought of hearing his voice. You missed him so much.

He spoke lowly slightly whispering with a chuckle laced in his voice, you could hear the smile on his lips. He was just so cute you couldn't help but kick your feet. He gives you such cuteness aggression.

You say back to him making him hum, he missed you too he didn't even need to say it, you already knew. He exhaled into the mic before yawning, it was just so cute you couldn't help the line of giggles that escaped.

“ you need to get some rest my love, I don't want you to be tired in the morning.”

“ I know but I just can't sleep... I just want to like, hear your voice I guess.”

“ hmm~, what am I gonna do with you, eh?”

His tired voice was undeniably attractive, it made you bite your lip subconsciously. When he hummed into the mic it gave you butterflies, it was just so... Moving.

Silence fell upon the two of you, a comfortable one at that. Hearing his breath wavering, the sound of him inhaling and exhaling did indeed bring you at peace. It was calming in an odd sense, it was almost as if he was really there. You looked at the time, 2 am.. god you couldn't believe 2 hours had already passed.

With a sigh you'd decided to try once more. You'd try to fall asleep, this time having more hope that you could with your boyfriend on the line. You get comfortable, the sound of covers moving and shifting being heard on his end a hum left him again. You could tell he was tired or almost sleep, it made you feel bad. After getting comfortable silence was there again, just the sound of his breathing coming through. You decided to say one last thing before trying again.

“ I love you, zuku. thank you.”

You closed your eyes with a sigh, lying there for a couple of minutes, random things started flooding your mind instantly causing you to squeeze your eyes shut.

Firs of all, Baldwin does not argue with you. He's a pacifist at heart, he always prefers talking things through and negotiate to get out of hard situations. To him, that is a form of respect, the desire to talk as equals and not trying to impose his own will on the other

And since he does that with his enemies, how could he not give you the same treatment? You, who lighten his days darkened by his duties and his sickness, you who save him from the burden of his own thoughts

And even if you tended to be more on the aggressive/prone to arguments side, he still wouldn't budge, and just keep on talking but most of all LISTENING, Baldwin respects you more than anyone else, your thoughts are sacred to him and should be treated as such!

If the argument is about something that he did to upset you, be it an unpleasant comment or a forgotten appointment (only happened once and it was because he had been kept busy by his counselors), he will do anything to make you feel any better

If the argument is about his tendencies to neglect his own health, then good luck with that because his own moral code physically prevents him from letting go of his duties to favor resting and trying to better his condition. Still, he will reassure you with gentle touches and soft words that he understands your worries, and you are the sweetest angel to care so much about him

But he cannot let his kingdom to fend for itself just because of a bad day for his leper body, he will have to wait until the evening to be reunited with you and finally let himself rest, your own anger at his stubborness long gone as you cradle his head on your lap. You still appreciate his soft apologies as you caress his mangled face, though

Now, speaking about what he'll do to make it up to you for any argument- or mostly, things that he did that upset you since he doesn't really argue with you

First of all, he will excuse himself for having upset you in the first place, listening to your every word to understand precisely what exactly it is that he did that he will avoid making again

Then, he will try to get any form of physical contact with you. He needs it, desperately, having been so isolated from any human touch for years other than his physicians'

Hell, he might even kneel for you if it meant having your forgiveness, if it meant being able to hug your legs like the supplicants of the ancient books he read about

If you'll let him get close to you, he'll kiss you all over while he'll keep apologizing and openly reflect on the things that he will change to make it up properly. Kinda reminds me of Gomez and Morticia on that scene (hence the painting I chose)

And after you will have forgiven him, that night he'll hold you a little closer, whispering sweet apologies while you sleep soundly, unaware of how dedicated your husband is to learn from his mistakes

All in all, I really don't see Baldwin as someone you'd ever argue with, but that doesn't stop him from making up for his every mistake like he'd caused you the worst of wrongs

he and blake were at the same orphanage.

gravitated towards each other quite quickly especially because hunter kind of scared away the bullies that were troubling blake and the little boy just attached himself to hunter pretty much ever since.

refused to go with bradleys if they don't take blake too. luckily the couple was more than happy too.

eventually got used to it once they became a team and he took his second-in-command position.

he is every short-tempered and certain things trigger him at full force. for example he once short circuited cyber cam for cracking a offensive joke at blake.

it took cam three weeks to fix his cyber counterpart because the crimsion thunder pretty much fried his servers and operators.

if he doesn't know about his brother's whereabouts for more than say 4 hours and the man also isn't responding to his morpher, he might as well flip the city upside down to find him.

very fiercely loyal and protective. once he decides to choose someone as his person he will stand by it until you give him solid prove of wrong doings of that person.

a little morally off course, blake is the moral compass most of the time. doesn't mind doing small bad for greater good and can't forget the whole lothor phase.

doesn't like water all that much either, mostly because of his incapacity to swim in too much water and his electrical element.

please don't leave him in a kitchen unsupervised he will end up burning something if not the whole house- good lord.

has trouble sleeping which makes cam's canon comment on his caffeine intake very real.

Okay let’s start by saying this, Brian is no more he is no longer with us. But Hoodie is, and he will have some scars on his body and face. Then the second one Tim aka Masky, he has both personality still. Tim a clueless man that still thinks that he can disobey the operator. A silly man indeed. And with Masky he is very aggressive to other people that don’t look familiar. Finally Toby, he is not childish and he certainly isn’t obsessive with waffles. Toby is very cold and very clueless but won’t talk about it. And Toby has slenderman and Masky and Hoodie has The operator. Okay let’s get start with the head canons with these killers.

Tim(Masky)

Okay Tim would most likely be the one you want to stick with all of the time. Tim will know how to defend you even if he has to get into fights with those two. You expect he’ll help you escape but no. And he feel guilty for forcing you to stay with them. The good thing about him is that he will let you out( You don't have to make puppy dog eyes to convince him to let you walk outside.) Everything about him is more lean and you can get away with a lot with Tim.

Masky a phsyco path, and I’m not lying. Masky is much more serious and he doesn’t understand why you would want to leave. He like to think of himself your number one lover. He is less impatient with you so if he tells you to do something, you have to do it. Or he’ll ignore everything you need, or want. He did it once before leaving you alone with your thoughts an in empty stomach and room.

And how he looks now after all those years, is a little different. Tim still has a dad body but more muscle wight, he is much more stronger then he used to be. But still very cute. Masky still have to wait his turn to go and see you. Tim Will probably never spend his time in that cabin with you. The guilt will just break him.

Hoodie

A man that is just a ticking time boom, but very calculating. All these years loneliness, trying to survive, and losing a part of him. Don’t you think he would grief over his lost and his fuck up life. He did but now he is in control of this body. No more blacking out or waiting for Brian to surrender to the operator.

Hoodie is just someone you don’t want to push hard. He doesn’t know humans emotions as he used to. So he might mistake excitement with sarcastic. Or sadness with anger. He’ll will threaten you with his gun if he feel you being ungrateful of his love or the things he gets for you. But don’t worry he keeps his gun unloaded, but you don’t know that. But he is not as bad, when he actually sees that you are sad he’ll pull you up and confront you. He will(if you are good.) will read you a story. He is very nonchalant

Toby

Toby is a killer, who just doesn’t understand why he kept you alive. You ruined his cold heart and you made him insecure about everything. His now long hair is always covering his huge gush. His body still lean but with a bit of muscle, his hair is long. And he can control his mental health more then he used too. But he still have heavy mood swings. You have to watch out for that, he’ll probably break your lambs or even try to bite the side of your face so you could match him.

Toby is always trying to impress you with giving you flowers. Or trying to dance with you in night. He’ll even watch other people outside or on a movie to impress you. Sometimes you’ll get to see him and sometimes you’ll never see him for a whole month

First thing’s first: Denial. 

You’re not really dead, right? They’d probably forget you’re gone the first few days after your passing. They’d wait in the park when it’s raining with their cigarette for you to show up as always with the occasional milkshake before it hits them that you’re never going to step foot in that park again. 

They don’t even attend maths classes anymore. It hurts to see your empty chair.

However, I feel like Whitney would quite quickly float through the first stage and land hard in the second: anger.

WHY did you leave them? WHY did YOU, the only person who doesn’t irritate them, the only person they'd loved like that, have to FUCKING leave them? Their friends had to suffer through his small outbursts occasionally too. I feel like he’d lose a few of them over it.

Though it wouldn’t get too physical until they finally stepped foot in maths class to see somebody sitting in YOUR seat. The seat YOU always sat on when you were alive. The seat they’d always shove other students from just to sit next to.

Let’s just say, things weren’t pretty, and that student was beaten to a pulp until River had to find a way to drag Whitney out of the class.

The next stage: Bargaining

Though they might not show it, deep down, they’d be thinking about what-ifs. Internally, they’d be blaming themselves and others in this stupid fucked-up town.

If only he was nicer to you, then this fucking world wouldn't be toying with him like this.

If only they were there with you, they could have avoided all this.

And, if they were indirectly the cause (like temporarily giving you off to the wrong person), then if only they left you alone that day or dragged you along with their lackeys, then you wouldn’t be gone.

You’d still be roaming the halls, sitting next to them in maths class, or bringing them with you to the orphanage sometimes.

The depression stage would probably find its way in with this.

They’d start dealing with bad coping mechanisms. They’d start smoking and drinking more often, drowning themselves in alcohol and nicotine to make themselves feel better.

They’ll also start sleeping around with other people. Are they trying to find that spark they had with you? Or are they trying to find you in this temporary fling? Who knows. It could be both.

But what is known is while the relief is temporary at the moment, they get out of that one-night stand feeling as bad as they did before, if not worse. So they sleep around again, and aggressively so. Especially if that person shows even the slightest resemblance to you.

I don’t know whether Whitney would be able to fully reach the acceptance stage. Would they really be able to live with themselves normally without you by their side? And, with the case I mentioned above, would they be able to live with the guilt that they indirectly put you in the line of fire?

Only time will tell. But if they do get there, it will take them a lot of time, but they won’t find anybody like you. Not anybody they’d give that note to that you left hidden in the second drawer next to your bed, to be forgotten by everybody but you and them.

When he fucks somebody else you're there when he wakes up, looking disappointed. When he drinks until he can't anymore you're there, watching him sadly. You've become his shadow, he talks to you when he's alone. He begs you to come back. He apologizes for all the things he's done to you. He just wants you with him again.

ALRIGHT, I have beaten the game. It's time to talk about Veilguard.

I'm going to go into a lot of depth below the cut. I feel like I'm in a unique position to talk about it, because I've both been disappointed by it but also recognized that some of the criticism is... misguided, while also having enjoyed aspects while also not being too forgiving of it's failings. I think I went in with tempered expectations, both from the World State debacle and from being at every single launch, and that's kind of allowed me to sit back and take it.

For folks who don't want spoilers but want my opinion, I'll say this; It's a mixed bag, but what is there is very enjoyable if sometimes very frustrating. The game is really great mechanically and maybe the most fun I've had with a game moment-to-moment since Origins. It's story and side quests are good, although the dialogue is not always the best written parts of the game. The characters are good-to-great, however their brilliance is really downplayed and minimized until Act II, which is indicative of the quality of the game in general as Act I tends to be a slog and Act II is where the game's brilliance happens, while Act III balances the two to give a fulfilling ending. It's dialogue wheel, while devoid of aggression, is the best one for me in the series since it was added as a replacement for the unvoiced protagonist. It does, however, drop the ball in many aspects as a continuation of the series and it's lore and depth, leaving it quite shallow in many places, and angering in a few, small areas. You should go into the game with the knowledge that there are a few contradictions, that several major aspects of the series are explored on a very disappointing surface level, and the lack of world state options did harm legacy characters. I still, however, would say it's worth a play with these things in mind because once the game picks up it's very rewarding.

Okay, here we go. Obviously, spoilers below, and a lot of them.

I'm gonna start this by presenting a statement as the thesis for what I feel about the game as a whole;

Dragon Age: The Veilguard's greatest failings all exist solely within the realm of legacy.

With that said, I want to start with the good, because I feel that the actual good of the game is either being downplayed dismissed entirely. I'm someone who does love Origins most, but who accepted a long time ago that was not the direction of the series, and that has allowed me to pretty evenly both see the good and bad and also accept that good and bad, especially when understanding what the game was made to be and what it wasn't made to be. I think it's wholly unfair to dismiss the game as a train wreck, because I genuinely feel where it fails is in areas where new players likely won't even notice. For them, I suspect this game will be deeply beloved in the same way (but for FAR different reasons) DA2 is now.

The game is, mechanically, maybe the best we've had so far. Granted, I'm not sure I PREFER it, but I can recognize that's largely because my reflexes have slowed considerably, and I was never truly meant for a game like this. Even so, I enjoyed it way more than I did Inquisition, although it does have the opposite problem of that game. Inquisition's boss battles are fun but it's regular combat is dreadful, whereas Veilguard's regular combat is fun but it's big bosses can be downright frustrating.

I loved the level design a lot. I recognize folks who cut their teeth on Inquisition will balk at that, but as someone who grew very tired of Inquisition's empty open world being 80 hours of the average 120 hour game, returning to this kind of design was a blessing for me. It has it's faults (largely in how it measures height and sometimes arbitrarily decides level edge parameters), but it's smaller scope in levels allows it to make more areas memorable, because most areas in each area have a mission of some sort, and most of those missions are memorable. Even if they're kind of a dud, the plethora of companion banter makes up for some of what's missing. It strikes the proper balance between Inquisition's gorgeous aesthetics with... y'know, actual good level design.

I was very satisfied with the big choices of the game. I felt this game gave me more pause in those big decisions than past games did, and I also feel that's partially because I felt very free to roleplay within it. I really, REALLY love the dialogue wheel in this game, and I think each origin really allows me to play whoever I want in a way I haven't been able to since Origins. I recognize others have had an issue with specifically playing an Elf, but I can't really speak on that because I felt totally free as an Antivan Crow Rook. Yes, the dialogue wheel is dumbed down A LOT without pure aggression, but I think moments of anger still come through even if they don't affect every conversation. As a hater of the 'good choice/bad or sarcastic choice/mean or stoic choice' system that ME made famous, I strayed more from a static response in this game than in any other, and that allowed me to really wrestle with decisions and make ones I wouldn't normally make.

I want to next talk about the companions, because I both feel they are WILDLY not getting enough credit, but are also a gateway into background issues that are everything the game does deeply, deeply poorly.

I was kind of shocked with the sheer amount of posts about how flat or forgettable the characters in the game where. To an extent, I would kind of get it in the opening days of the game. I truly think the first act of the game is maybe the worst start in the entire series. You play it one of two ways, you either spend way too much time on it (I was there for 50 of my 100 hours of gameplay), or you run through it so fast you don't give anything a second to breathe and miss major side missions. I also don't think it helps at all that the worst voice acting of the game is in those opening hours, and I have a very strong suspicion that's because those lines were handled during the pandemic from home. But once we ease into Act II, I think these characters are really given time to shine.

I've seen people give the criticism that the game is poorly paced, and I generally agree with that, but I resist the idea that the companion quests of Act II are part of that problem. To me, part of the overall story of this genre, and specifically Bioware games, are these kinds of personal quests. I play these games in order to get to know these characters, to learn about them and grow with them, and in that way I think the game mostly succeeds. I found Neve's journey through the hopelessness of losing what she sought to protect stirring, I found Harding's struggle with the fragments of what a Dwarf is to be compelling, I found Emmrich's battle with mortality in a medium all about accepting or resisting it to be intriguing and beautifully written, and perhaps most compelling to me was Bellara's struggle with grief and loss. Davrin's struggle with what essentially amounts to fatherhood was layered metaphor, Lucanis' struggle with re-integrating with society after prison was important and well-handled, Taash's struggle with self-discovery within their own family was one many like myself struggle with for their entire lives. I wholly reject the idea that these are flat characters, they stand on their own as memorable and stirring companions.

With that being said.

I think the companions are entangled in a deeply negative aspect of this game that permeates through every corner of it, which is it's total failure to engage in the truth depth of the aspects it pulls from.

I mentioned before that the reason I play these games are for the companions, and that's true, but the reason I adore Dragon Age more than any other setting this is done in is because of Thedas. In spite of it's name, Thedas to me is the most deeply intriguing fantasy setting I've ever engaged in. It's never been one to shy away from it's own worldbuilding. Oh, there's certainly been moments where it's shifted focus aside, but it's never gone away... until now.

Veilguard isn't interested in exploring the alienation of Rook. Veilguard isn't interested in exploring the implications of Lucanis and Spite's bonding. Veilguard isn't interested in exploring what the gods being real and being terrors really is like for the Dalish. Veilguard isn't interested in exploring the true nature of the Crows. Veilguard isn't interested in what lichdom truly would be. Veilguard isn't interested in exploring Tevinter's horrors of slavery. Veilguard isn't interested in exploring the ramifications of the Venatori taking over Minrathous. Veilguard isn't interested in exploring the Antaam and their seperation from the Qun, or the Qun at all. Veilguard isn't interested in exploring the fallout of the Wardens at Adamant in this game. Veilguard isn't interested in what the mage rebellions and the new Divine would have done to the other northern nations. Veilguard isn't interested in the actual implications of Mythal inflicting her memories upon the child she abused.

I don't want to say that Veilguard is devoid of depth, it's not an entirely surface-level game. But what it is is a sanitization of the world and it's denizens. This issue starts with the lack of companion conversations outside of major scenes. To be frank, I don't think it's as big a problem as some might say it is, because if we did get them it likely would have been handled with over-the-shoulder cam like Inquisition, and I would actually challenge having that happen without any facial animations or movements ostracized people interested in those conversations. But the lack of them alienates some characters from the world and their experiences in it, and crucially, how these changes affect them.

I like Harding's personal quest, not just because I found her romance compelling, but also because it's one of the few plot points in the game where a character is forced to actually sit with the fucked up revelations of their peoples past. The Wardens also get that, and I would challenge that the Wardens are better handled in this game than they've been since Origins, but everyone else? Surface level, move past it, don't linger. Bellara repeats the same 'they are my gods but they're evil' line a dozen times, and while the character arc is clearly her struggling with the gods being what they are, she doesn't get the chance to TALK about it. Davrin I think is the most damning, not because he would have a lot to say about the Gods as it's clear his life is more involved with the Wardens than his Dalish heritage, but because they NEVER give him even a SECOND of thought with it. His reactions are essentially 'yeah, I don't relate so I don't care' and I find that a gross oversimplification of how someone who comes from a culture but has moved on to another life would react to it.

I gave Inquisition flak earlier, but it's also my second favorite game in the series. Inquisition handles it's politics almost front-and-center, and because it does that and it puts weight on it, this games refusal to pick up on ANY of those threads feels like a slap in the face to not just the player, but the world.

The truth is, the World State being cut out feels akin to a heart attack to me for the series. It's not the death of it, I actually still really enjoy this game a lot despite all this and it's not my least favorite game in the series, but it HAS done a level of damage that can't be undone, and I fear unless they do a massive time skip there's no fixing it. The series will just die a very slow, very sad death of any worthwhile meaning until there isn't enough lore to make intriguing characters anymore, existing in a flat and boring world with no depth.

It's impossible to look at the art book for this game and not see a better game in previous versions. It's clear that version of the game is the skeleton of what this one is built on, but what we got had so many bones picked out of it that it no longer resembles a human skeleton. Morrigan is still there, but she's written so blithely in order to empower a man's story without bothering to go in-depth on how it would harm her character's mental well-being to have the memories of her abuser in her mind. Dorian and Isabela are there, but they are there so little and lack so much of the spine of who they were that they might as well be any of the new figureheads of factions in the game. Those are three massive romances from each one of the games greatly harmed by the lack of a world state. Sure, they handle Varric and Solas well, but that's because one is puppeted by the other to protect him from feeling shallow, and Solas is the central antagonist that bookends the game. Perhaps most damning is the Inquisitor, who HAS to not have a character at all because the game explores them with zero depth outside of their relationship with Solas.

None of these characters should have been in the game, other than Solas and maybe the Inquisitor. Yes, even Varric. The world state was such a backbone of who they were that it being torn out leaves them not only the lesser, but nearly non-existent. These characters are the punctuation of all issues with Veilguard, hollow vapid fanservice that lacks the depth of any choice that would make their presence worthwhile.

Mass Effect and Dragon Age are series based on choice. Whether it's easy or not for the developers, they sold these games on choice. Fans were willing to give them leeway on what all they included. I genuinely just wanted the origins and romances of DA:O and DA2, with all the major decisions of Inquisition, because I felt DA:O was done well enough in Inquisition and I thought returning characters from DA2 would be a plus but not wholly necessary. Removing even that, even the BIG non-DLC decisions from the game, hurt this as a follow-up so badly it's apparent in every corner of the game.

I want to be clear, I don't necessarily blame the writers for this. I have a strong suspicion that the loss of the world state was either an EA choice or a developer choice, and that wasn't really on them. But if they knew this, they should have pealed back the cameos. Morrigan and Isabela, specifically, had no reason to be in this game, and it actively hurts them both to be present at all.

I promise you, I think Veilguard is a good game. I'm going to return to it, every single time I replay the series. I think it's characters are good-to-great, I think it's gameplay is fun, I think it's a very polished product with a satisfying end.

Veilguard's greatest sin is that it's pulled in two wildly different directions; It wants to explore and finish four games worth of interconnected stories, but it also is desperate to be something entirely new and rebooted that stands as an entry-point to new players, void of the more challenging histories of it's series and setting. These two goals do not work together. They repel off of each other and cheapen the whole thing, until what you're left with is a very enjoyable product with great characters, but exists in a surface-level, vapid piece of media that greatly disappoints the legacy of the series. And that's a damn shame.

Galadriel in Rings of Power, Part 2: War trauma or awful personality?

This post continues my analysis of Galadriel as she is portrayed in the Amazon series The Rings of Power - and why I think it is so very bad. Part 1 focused on the the portrayal of her being a warrior, and the many problems it creates for her character and possibly even for LOTR. Read part 1 here. In this post I will examine the common defence of her behaviour: that she is a traumatised war veteran who keeps lashing out at everyone.

I will post my arguments in a few different posts, because that should make the whole much more readable. I will use the tags #anti rop and #anti rings of power for the benefit of those who may want to filter my posts.

If you like Amazon Rings of Power, I have no issue with that; I only take issue with how a character I've loved for over a decade is portrayed in this show.

2. ROP!Galadriel's unlikeable personality disguises as war trauma.

ROP!Galadriel is a brash, hot-tempered, arrogant, impulsive and rude person. Sometimes she seems downright evil. Despite her great age, she has not accumulated any wisdom through her experiences. She treats even her friends in an unpleasant way and is worse towards strangers. She goes as far as threatening a bound prisoner with torture and genocide against his people - which is outright villaoinous, no matter how evil Adar is. Her anger issues are severe and it is hard to find even a single redeeming quality about her. If this is the show's creators' attempt to show that Galadriel, if she "turned to the dark side", would be as terrible as Sauron, is not well done. In my opinion she has already gone over.

Arguments made in the defence of this portrayal boil down to the idea that ROP!Galadriel is a traumatised war-veteran who lashes out because of her awful experiences. I don't find this compelling, considering that ROP shows Galadriel being aggressive and violent even as a child, never mind the justifications of assaulting a bully. If the show had shown her as a gentle, happy or sweet child, and then made it clear that it was her war experiences that changed her, this might be acceptable. However, it is not the case. ROP!Galadriel always was angry, violent and volatile. Because of this it rather feels like ROP!Galadriel uses her "trauma" as an excuse for her horrible personality. It is also very telling that she would rather spend centuries consumed by vengeance than go looking for her husband (who in the show went missing long ago). 

If the basis of portraying Galadriel as a warrior is shaky, this characterisation of a traumatised survivor has even less to do with how she is actually portrayed in the legendarium. The canon Galadriel has not horrible war experiences, but she does go through traumatising things, like the Kinslaying at Alqualonde, the many deaths of her kin, and the crossing of Helcaraxe. So, the canonical version of Galadriel has seen her deal of suffering. But if anything, in canon she seems to remain careful and collected after these experiences, because she is able to stand Melian's scrutiny, retain her presence of mind and not reveal the truth about the circumstances of the return of Noldor to Middle-earth. Therefore portraying Galadriel with these anger issues and lashing out is very much out of character.

Even if the portrayal of Galadriel as a traumatised war-veteran made any sense, there are other questions and problems about this. The show takes place at the end of the Second Age, when the events that supposedly traumatised ROP!Galadriel, including Finrod's death, are already long past. In other words, Gil-galad has all this time maintained a high-ranking commander who constantly lashes out, has no eloquence or diplomatic skills, can't fulfill a quest she's been at for centuries, is defiant against her superiors and seemingly does not care about the lives of her subordinates. Is this the best Lindon can get to lead the realm's armies? Does Gil-galad think that all it takes to be a commander is to have a big sword and be able to hit real hard? Or that his soldiers would consent to following this extremely volatile and unpredictable leader for centuries? They have had this whole age to do something about it but nobody has thought to try and help ROP!Galadriel to deal with her trauma, even with all the skill and subtlety Elven healing supposedly has? Has the Elven society developed at all or found ways to help its members? Or, if they just accept her behaviour for centuries and don't try to help her to get better, it implies that this is her personality and the Elves of Lindon have just resigned to it. Considering how out of line ROP!Galadriel is and the amount of time that has passed since Finrod's death, it seems quite unbelievable that her obsession about vengeance hasn't already backfired long ago and seriously enough that Gil-galad would have had to deal with her. Moreover, if she is so consumed by vengeance that she cannot understand his reasoning about the dangers of her quest but needs to be put on a ship and sailed away to be somebody else's problem, then she is not fit to be a high-ranking officer and never was. 

ROP!Galadriel has no more proof of Sauron being out there than she has of Celeborn being dead. The fact that she chooses the option of vengeance, and holds on to it for centuries, instead of choosing the option of looking for her spouse and carrying on with her life, reveals what is important to her. It also shows how deeply rooted violence and aggression is in her character. 

I believe this shows that the show's creators have not taken their time to consider the differences between Elven and Mannish psychologies. What is described above might make sense if we were talking about a human character whose experiences took place only a few years ago. However, Galadriel is supposed to be a mature Elf at the time she gets to Middle-earth in the First Age, and at that point she has already seen horrifying things. But this canon Galadriel is very different to the one ROP shows, spending centuries in a volatile state of mind but gaining no wisdom from it and receiving no help to deal with it, although the Elven society is supposed to be much more sophisticated than its Mannish counterparts.

Prime thinks your over-caring nature is sweet, even though he thinks you are overreacting.

Prime once heard you talking to Professor Sumdac about your past. He didn't mean to pry, but how could humans do such a thing?

And you still see good in humans; you're such a saint.

It isn't till later reality on world hits Prime that he wishes you weren’t so forgiving

Prime has also noticed your demeanor would change during different things

When he was training with you one time, you expressed a lot of anger in your punches, but when asked, you said it was nothing.

He wishes you could open up to him like everyone does to you.

When Prime comes back injured, you first check if he’s okay, asking all sorts of questions before reprimanding him for his recklessness.

He likes how much you care for them

Ratchet

Strongly dislikes your naivety

When he found out about your past, he couldn't believe you still thought your ‘family’ would come back. How sad.

But he does feel bad so hangs around you for a while

When you work with Ratchet, you always tell him he needs to take a break. Overworking himself isn't good, especially for old gears like him.

You two go back and forth before he finally agrees grumbling all the way to his chambers

When Ratchet comes back from his nap, you are smiling and happy to see him rested. He of course just grumbles but did enjoy the rest.

Bumblebee

You and Bee are great friends; you both like to get in trouble along with Sari.

During a mission, you told Bee about how your family left you at a store and never came back. He was horrified, and you were just joking about it.

He vowed to be the best s/o to you ever, and if anyone has something mean to say to you, they can speak to him.

Besides getting in trouble with Bee, you were always his and everyone else's therapy buddy, and as Bee’s significant other, he makes sure you're okay too.

The first time you showed Bee you could actually fight was when you were dealing with sludge monsters and you violently punched through one (of course it didn't do anything).

But he was so amazed by this side of you and thought it was hot to see you in action, so he decided to train with you to see you more often.

Prowl

He’s a pretty quiet an secretive person

But that's why you like hanging out with him; you don't have to worry about the team arguing or them just causing a ruckus.

Since Prowl likes to do his own this it's kinda hard to get to know him

So you decided to try and do the things he likes but you failed at meditation and balancing

One thing you do have in common is your love for nature when he caught you admiring the animals and plants he struck up a conversation

Since he’s usually the quiet one you're the one who would strike up a conversation and teach him many things about Earth

When balancing with Prowl you get upset when you can't stay upright for long

He reassured you that it was ok and you're still new which made you feel a bit better and you tried again

Bulkhead

Bulkhead the big teddy bear of the group

Also, the one to get himself stuck in sticky situations, and you're the one who gets him out.

With his artistic side, you often model for him while he’s not good practice makes perfect

When in battle you usually watch from afar but occasionally you keep an eye out for cons who try to jump him

When he heard about your family abandoning you he was heart broke he’s been cuddly for a while now

Often you would join in Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Sari’s shenanigans much to the other displease 

He’s surprisingly was a good cook despite breaking some eggs and utensils what a great cake you guys made

A lot of people were surprised you two got together considering he’s a major ass

Of course, it wasn't easier it was more of an enemies-to-lover thing, and since he’s scared of organics it was hard to get close

The only reason you two got close was because you asked him to train you you told him you wanted to help fight against the Cons

He laughed hysterically but decided to humor you

Training with him isn't easy since he likes to be a jerk which irritated you and you took it out on the poor Lil training dummy

While you and Sentinel still butt heads even together he’s not that bad to hang out with if you don't boost his ego much

Decepticons

Megatron

Didn't care for you you were human what purpose could you serve

He did like how you were able to get into small parts and get items for them

And go undercover into human-sized places so he guesses you have some use

Gets annoyed with your overbearing mother nature he’s not dying so relax

Likes when you take your frustrations out wish you did more often it’s entertaining

While it seems like he doesn't like you, he wants you close to his side, in his words, to keep an eye on you.

You try to get him to open up to you but he saw it as you trying to get information on him and give it to the autobots so never again

Starscream

To get on his good side stroke his ego a bit he loves compliments

Doesn't find any use in you either but he’s happy to have a ‘follower’ anyway

When you two get together he tries to be discreet about the relationship he doesn't want anyone to know he has a soft spot for a human

Of course, he tries to get you to help him overthrow Megatron which doesn’t usually go as planned and you rather not get killed but you still help him in other ways

Likes when you get angry finds it amusing

Says he finds your motherly nature annoying but secretly he likes that someone cares

When he finds out about your past and some certain abandonment issues he says that you're going to stay with him forever because he needs a minion but really he just likes having you near

Is only clingy to you in private and it feels nice

BlitzWing

Very interesting relationship

Most of them think your innocence is cute

When they heard about your family abandoning you not exactly happy Hot-head wanted to find and beat them up Random kinda cried

When they get injured, they like that you worry over them, but they try to be more careful so you don’t fret too much over them. Well, maybe Random would try to at least get a scratch.

They like to do different activities with you. Icy likes to do little picnics and some baking. You do smash rooms with Hot-Head. He likes to see you take your frustrations out, and Random and you mostly go and terrorize the other bots. While you do get in trouble, it’s been fun.

Shockwave/Longarm

You first met Shockwave when you got captured by the Decepticons and put on the ship

At first, you didn't see him a lot since he was always doing some type of “agent work” and apparently he was also undercover

But when he was on the ship, you were required to be his partner and help him with anything he needed, much to his amusement.

While you couldn't help him with big things, you were a good talk buddy.

When he did come back injured, he would find it confusing as to why you would care or worry over a being like him, though he was happy about it.

He despises your innocence. He tries to open up your eyes to everything, of course, Starscream and Megatron, put an end to that because it's making manipulating you easier.

He likes it when you get mad; it's entertaining for him.

Swindle

Swindle mostly likely has an interest in you because you are rich, and while you may be human, you are his personal piggy bank for things he can't afford. what fun

With your naivety, it was easy to manipulate you. Swindle would pretend to be your friend, and whenever you refused to give him money, he would say something along the lines of, "Friends, help each other out. Come on, be a good friend, and help me out."

When Swindle gets caught for his illegal selling, you worry you can’t get updates on whether he’s dead or not, and if you ask around, you might be squished.

When he does come back, you give him this huge rant about being careful and stuff; it's just going in one ear and out the other.

When he learned of your backstory didn't exactly care much was sympathetic tho

He has learned to never make you mad. One time he did, and you cut him off from your supply of money. When he went to confront you about it, he couldn't find you, mostly because you kept avoiding him.

Above that he likes your company and thinks you are just adorable

Lockdown

You were just a trophy and someone valuable for whenever he got injured or wanted to fix up some weapons he salvaged.

Doesn’t care about your backstory I mean he’s glad you trust him enough to tell him but maybe a little sympathy

He likes your company sometimes when he gets bored and is happy when you want to listen to his tales about the different trophies he got.

You become Lockdown’s rant listening buddy. You tried to give him advice, but of course he doesn’t take it to heart, so you just listen instead.

Hates when you fret over him finds it a bit annoying but a little happy he doesn’t know why

The Untamed Mind Dump (Spoilers duh)

(I have yet to read the novel for MDZS, and I am on Episode 47 of The Untamed so I want to do another mind dump like last time)

Jin Guangyao, I've been suspicious of him ever since I saw that face of his (I am not calling the actor ugly or anything like that, I can acknowledge its the acting that made him look suscpious not his actual face.) But I didn't excpect for him to be that sick of a human being.

Wei Wuxian being the scapegoat all over again

I have the firm belief that while Wen Ning and Wei Wuxian are responsible for the death of Jin Zixuan, I know damn well Jiang Yanli's blood is not on Wei Wuxian's hands. Heck, I kind of think even though Wei Wuxian was the cause of Jin Zixuan's death, that that situation was obviously curated from the start, there was no intention to kill anyone that day because Wei Wuxian was doing this all in self defense. (Still sad that Jin Zixuan had to be a casualty).

I legit don't remember Su She before episode 45

The way I had to pause, sit up, stand up, walk around when that lady revealed Jin Guangyao tortured his father like that and what he did to Qin Su??? OH MY GOOOODDDDDDDD

Lan Wanji, you're the best supporter and best friend ever (I know in the novel he's Wei Wuxian's lover but in The Untamed their relationship is still amazing as best friends).

Wei Wuxian is such a great leader and protected those teens well (most of them are teens right? they all seemed kinda young)

I feel so bad for Jin Ling, all of his family's dirty laundry being aired out from both sides because his (defected) martial uncle is infamous for doing dirty tricks and is the supposed one who killed his parents, his maternal uncle being really hard on him, his paternal uncle being absolute scum and him doing things worse than what Wei Wuxian was ever accused for, and then to top it all off, he is constantly bullied.

To add to that, Jin Ling's outbursts are to be expected, he's just like his maternal uncle, really emotional. Jiang Cheng has had his outbursts of anger and aggressiveness (verbal and/or physical) and this could be the only way Jin Ling knows how to express himself.

At first I thought Jin Ling was an arrogant and stupid spoiled brat but I just want to hug this poor kid, the trauma of not having his parents and knowing that they died brutal deaths, the bullying, just everything. Just let him have a nice and warm blanket while snuggling with Fairy for once, please?

Speaking of Fairy, can people stop threatening the dog please? Like, they're such a good boy/girl (Netflix subtitles swapped them at somepoint from he to she and then it so I have no idea).

I WAS CRYING WHEN LAN SIZHUI STARTED TO REMEMBER HIS PAST AND THEN WEN NING WAS TRYING TO CATCH UP WITH HIM BRUH I WAS UGLY CRYING, SOBBING, THEY'RE FAMILY, THEY DESERVE TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER, THE LAST OF THE WEN FAMILY AAAA

I am such a sucker for reunited families, families with close bonds, found families, I don't know why, but it strikes me in the heart in such a painful and joyful way.

Zewu Jun, I always have mad respect for this man and I understand how he needs to make his own judgement and not only trust the words of others, I just can't blame him for that. But man was I afraid that he betrayed everyone by actually being 100% on Jin Guangyao's side knowing everything he did in episode 46, but he looked as confused and weirded out as ever so thankfully he isn't on his side anymore, I love this dude, I'm his biggest supporter.

I'll make each of these things their own post because I have so much more I want to say.

Back in this fandom for the fourth time, will be giving headcanons.

He can be both good and bad, as long as he gets entertainment in return.

Vanessa usually had her feet frozen and ice spreading slowly the more she got angry, but the prince? (aside from hardly ever showing anger, he was the literal definition of joy.) He would get on fire like hades does in the Disney movie.

It never hurt the two royalties, the ice never gave Vanessa any sides effects or the fire ever hurt the prince, but if it got out of hand, it could corrupt them.

> Somehow only royalty (by blood) could reach power such as magic (ice, fire and all), so they had several lessons to keep it under control. It's a little special thing that only these specific people had, no one else did.

> The prince had the habit, and still does, to brush aggressively his hair with his hands until he would accidentally rip his own hair whenever he was stressed or upset. Bad habit.

P.S. technically speaking, all the characters are from different places, so they don't really speak the same language or English (aka: the prince and Vanessa technically would speak German (and Italian, for the prince)) aside from who is from England, Canada, the united states ect. But for the sake of everyone (to understand what they are saying) the game is in English and everything will be said in English.

plus everyone at least KNOWS some English, to communicate with everyone around the world, so everyone (when they figured out that hat kid didn't understood them) kinda spoke English to hat kid. Helped a little because everyone spoke the same thing, but as an alien she had to force herself to understand.

And as much of a scare Vanessa would get, she would laugh along.

TADT AU: Dynamic duos (main ones)

Caine and Bubble

Bubble is always at Caine's side whenever he isn't being used for showing hints to the players. Even though his actions can be seen as kinda gross, he acts as a sort of loyal dog to Caine after the years the toybox server had been abandoned.

Caine made him to help the players advance through each level before the server had been abandoned. They don't have much of a bond outside of having either a boss/assisstant or "pet"/owner dynamic. However, Caine gets very easily cross with Bubble, usually popping him to get rid of Bubble temporarily if he ever gets angry with him over anything.

Pom and Ni

As the sisters who are players in the game, they have very differing mindsets that can help them out in any situation. With Pom and her analytical behavior, she helps with trying to find a clear and logical explanation for any situation, even if they get into quite a few pickles. Ni, on the other hand, is protective of her sister by helping her get out of a bad situation whenever she notices Pom freezing up.

Despite always having each other's backs a lot of the time, it does sometimes become an issue to try and see from each other's point of views. With Ni's spontaneous risks, Pom worries that she'd eventually get herself into a situation where she would seperate from her. With Pom's moments to freeze when thinking, Ni worries that while she's thinking, she would lose her from any outside threats trying to kill them.

Gangle and Lanky

Programmed to be siblings with differing ideas on how to handle the stories they produce, Gangle and Lanky have slightly differing views on how to treat the players.

Lanky is often the one who is closed off from accepting criticism for his plays. If he wants a story to be done right and things are going wrong in his eyes, he'd usually intervene and take control of the players' actions with his ribbons. With Gangle, although she can be much more accepting of criticism than her brother, she still holds onto a lot of nostalgia, often saying things such as "I don't remember that" or "that's not how it used to be" when talking about things from the past. With Gangle's coding to be submissive to her brother, she fears that standing up for herself will ultimately lead to her code being deleted.

Jax and Kaufmo

Although they come from two completely different animation styles, Jax and Kaufmo were a dynamic duo who enjoyed innocent, cartoonish violence. They would even do collabs with each other to perform together.

After Kaufmo's code had been deleted, Jax was angry that his best friend had been erased from the game. As a means to let his anger out, especially to fill in the void of boredom, he started to act more out-of-character by becoming more aggressive. However, even though his anger is mainly directed at Caine for taking his friend away, he lashes out at everyone who crosses his path, especially new players like the Pomni twins, due to how close they are to Caine.

Kinger and Queenie

Before the server had been abandoned, the duo were once rivals on the chessboard, being on completely seperate sides from each other. However, after the server had been abandoned, they've gotten to get really bored of their rivalry and started to become close.

After bonding and Queenie sharing her interest in bugs, Kinger slowly developed feelings for her. They fell in love, got married from a bishop chess piece, and kept their relationship on the down low from Caine. It wasn't until Caine discovered their relationship in some private chats they've had with each other when he decided to delete Queenie from the game altogether. Kinger still holds fond memories of Queenie, even after she'd been long gone.
