Paul's Imprint
What being Paul’s imprint would be like.
A/N: Not proofread. Hope you guys enjoy this and let me know if you would like me to do the other pack members or the Cullens(what being their mates/bloodsingers would be like). I really appreciate all of the likes and reposts! Thank you all so much and I am glad you like my fics :)
Being Paul’s imprint would require A LOT of patience.
He has a soft spot for you, so his anger wouldn’t be taken out on you or directed much toward you, but that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t see his bad side. When someone in the pack pisses him off he usually gets upset and phases. They fight it out, and then he comes home. He is either still upset or wants serious attention. If it’s the former expect some attitude and him taking it out on basically everything else but you. He might be aggressive with things, slamming things down and being loud. You would probably need to give him some time to cool off some more before trying to comfort him. If it’s the latter then you will have to have a cuddle session, his favorite position is laying in the bed or couch with his head in your chest and you playing with his hair and talking about your day. Your voice soothes him and calms him down, so he likes it when you talk to him. He could care less what you talk about, you could tell him about your day, or how much you hate that one girl in your math class because she chews gum loudly, you could literally talk about anything and he would be content.
Being Paul’s imprint means a lot of love and affection.
When he isn’t on patrol, he is with you. He will be on you and hugging you all of the time. Now if you have trauma with affection or just don't like to be touched he would 100% respect your boundaries, but he would try and find small ways to show and get affection. Like holding your hand or even just touching his pinky against yours when you are next to each other. He would find ways that wouldn’t make you uncomfortable and was still getting his needs met. He doesn’t mind showing his affection in front of others either, he could give less of a fuck if the pack teases him. He loves you and doesn’t care who knows it. At the beginning of your relationship, he was very careful, learning what you liked and what you disliked. He was also very subtle with his affection but he still craved it just as much as he does now. He would softly play with the hair on the back of your head while talking by the fire, small and soft touches here and there, he would DEFINITELY do that thing where guys softly touch your waist while moving behind you.
Being Paul's imprint means you would spend a lot of time with the other imprints.
You would probably be close with the other imprints. Having a werewolf boyfriend isn’t exactly normal. You might feel alone or lost a bit in the beginning. Paul was one of the first to phase, which means you most likely were also one of the first imprints. Especially if you knew Paul before the transition. Emily was one of the first imprints you met, she was so sweet and welcoming to you, and your bond turned into a sibling relationship. She treated you like family right away and made sure you knew that you were always welcome. You met the others as they became a part of the family and now you spend a lot of your time with them. You do a bunch of group things together, shopping, baking, cooking, movie nights, and of course bonfires. You all enjoy each other's company. The boys are on patrol a lot and it helps everyone get their minds off of missing them.
Being Paul’s imprint means late-night texts and calls.
Again, the boys are on patrol any time of the day or night. When Paul takes the night shift he makes sure to update you and let you know that he is safe. He is also expecting the same from you. He misses your voice, especially when your schedule gets busy and you can’t see each other as much. Sometimes he’s able to slip away for a second to see you, give you a hug and a kiss and then he is back out patrolling. He does it more often if he is patrolling near your house, mainly so he can do it quickly before Sam notices that he is missing and makes him come back.
Being Paul’s imprint means he is VERY protective of you.
He is already a protective person, it doesn’t matter if it is his friend, family, or even a stranger. He will take a bullet for someone he doesn’t know, it’s just in his nature. For you on the other hand, he would take that bullet and then hunt the person who shot it down until they beg you for forgiveness for even daring to THINK about hurting you, all the while he is still bloody and hurt. His protectiveness also correlates with his jealousy. He is a very jealous person when he is in a relationship. Even though you are his imprint he still can’t help but let the green-eyed monster loose whenever another person hits on you or checks you out. He knew you were hot, but you were for his eyes only. Being a werewolf means having to control your anger, but Paul was never really good at that, so most of the time it was you who had to calm him down. You didn’t want your boyfriend to maul someone, especially not in public. You were the only person who could calm him down fully, you would reach for him with your soft touch and everything else would fade away. Sometimes all you had to do was give him a stern look and he would cool himself off not wanting to make you upset. It bothered you sometimes how angry he would get, you tell him all the time that he is the only one for you and he has nothing to worry about but he still lets his jealousy get in the way of reasoning.

synopsis: paul and reader are in a long-term relationship following him imprinting on reader. paul discovers embry has been fantasizing about reader, reader has a little crush on him too, and paul has a kink for watching. definitely could be the beginning of the infamous poly!paulxreaderxembry relationship but there’s no mention of embry imprinting on reader
warnings: smut, dom!paul, dom!embry, sub!reader, pre-established boundaries/consent

…
shortly after paul had phased while embry was in the middle of fantasizing about you on patrol, an idea popped into his head. although he was most definitely beyond pissed at first to find out embry had been harboring some ridiculously lewd thoughts about you in his head for months now, he couldn’t help the part of his brain that was working overtime to convince him how hot it would be to watch the two of you go at it just once.
so, despite the fact that he’d quite literally just witnessed embry’s fantasy of your pretty little legs wrapped around his shoulders while he pounded into you, he decided it could be quite an interesting scene to watch.
in his mind, it worked out perfectly. he knew embry needed to blow off some steam and you seemed to be the perfect person for him to take it out on, he also knew you were a little more than interested in embry (though it took him pushing you pretty deep into the subspace for you to finally admit it), and he knew himself well enough to know just how ridiculously hot he’d find it to watch you two go at it knowing the only reason you two could was because he gave you permission to do it.
was he a bit of a control freak? absolutely. was he confident you’d drop your obsession with embry once you finally could have him once? not entirely - but he wasn’t particularly concerned with that seeing as you were beyond attached to paul and he wasn’t really concerned with you leaving him for embry anytime soon thanks to the imprint bond.
although he once loathed the thought of the imprint bond, after realizing how it affected you nearly as much as it did him, he was starting to thank his lucky stars you two were bound together by some impenetrable supernatural force.
so, after mulling it over in his head for a few days, he approached embry about the idea. embry nearly choked on the muffin he was currently snacking on at paul’s proposition - fully convinced paul was just fucking with him and was definitely about to beat his ass if he even so much as thought about agreeing.
fortunately for embry, paul didn’t seem too interested in drawing out embry’s suffering, quickly offering an explanation for what he expected from embry and what his rules were for fucking you for the night. (to embry’s surprise, there weren’t nearly as many as he’d expected. from what he understood, paul mainly just explained to him how you needed someone to guide you through everything and what would happen if/when he managed to push you into the subspace and how he should be handling you.
so, with a hesitant agreement thanks to embry’s suspicions about paul’s motives for the whole thing, paul was heading back to your shared house to get you ready for embry’s arrival.
“princess,” paul called softly as he stepped into your apartment, closing the door behind him as he kicked his shoes off and set his keys and wallet on the console.
“‘m in the bathroom!” you called back, wrapping a towel around your freshly showered figure so you could step into the hallway and look for your imprinter. it only took him a moment to step into the hallway, smiling when he saw you, “jus’ gotta brush my hair and then i’ll come out,” you reassured, smiling as he stepped even closer to you, his gaze softening as he took you in.
you stepped back into the door, giggling when he slid his hands over your towel-covered hips as he pressed himself against you. he closed his eyes as he sucked in a breath and you weren’t entirely sure if he was smelling you or just taking a moment. you didn’t have much time to figure it out because he opened his eyes a second later, “let me do it, yea?” he suggested, giving your hips a gentle squeeze which had you giggling and nodding, happy to have him brush your hair for you.
“go lay down on the bed and i’ll be there in a minute,” his voice lowered at the order and his lips just barely brushed against your ear, “and take the towel off, yea? wanna see you.” the dominance in his voice immediately sent your hormones in about 50 different directions as your brain short-circuited for a moment.
despite your brain freeze, you were quick to nod, pupils dilating as you looked up at paul who just let out a breathy laugh before he was spinning you around and teasingly smacking your ass to send you on your way to the bedroom.
you weren’t entirely sure how you managed to walk to the bedroom with all the butterflies in your belly but you were thanking god you did as you dropped the towel, leaving you totally nude as you sat down on the edge of the bed.
paul was nothing if not a man of his word, coming into the bedroom no longer wearing a t-shirt as he now only wore a pair of dangerously low-hanging gray sweatpants. you were shamelessly ogling him as he paused for a moment, apparently deciding to do the same thing to you as his gaze drifted from your toes all the way up until his gaze met yours, “look so pretty when you’ve got nothing on,” he complimented as your cheeks flamed up to a deep shade of pink at the comment.
he just playfully rolled his eyes at your blush, coming to sit down on the bed so he could lean back against the headboard, “c’mere,” he murmured, hooking his hands under your arms so he could tug you back and in between his legs.
you let out a heavy sigh of contentment as you relaxed back into his chest, more than grateful for the added warmth, “you trust me, don’t you?” paul asked once he felt you settle down in his arms, picking up the brush so he could slowly start working it through your hair as he waited for your response.
his question caught you a bit off guard but you nodded none-the-less, “course i do,” you whispered, peeking over your shoulder to look up at him. paul made a sound of approval before pressing his lips to your forehead.
while one hand continued gently brushing through your hair, his other trailed down your abdomen, dancing along the insides of your bare thighs but not touching any of your most sensitive parts. your brain was working overtime to try and figure out where he was going with this, the confusion of his words coupled with his gentle touches leaving you absolutely clueless.
“and you know i’d never put you in a situation where i know you’d get hurt?” he followed up, his features not changing as you frowned, not entirely sure where he was going with his line of questioning. while you struggled to figure out what to say to him, his free pointer and middle fingers gently parted your slickening folds for him.
you let out a low whine as the cold air hit your hyper-exposed cunt, moving to close your legs but paul beat you to it, dropping the brush so he could slide his other hand down your side to hold your thigh open, “answer me princess,” he reminded, halting his movements entirely as he waited for your response.
figuring he’d tell you soon enough, you settled for nodding again, “mhm,” you hummed, brows creasing in worry as you tried to figure out what he was trying to get at.
“‘s nothing bad,” paul reassured after a moment, letting out a breathy laugh that had you releasing a breath you weren’t even aware you’d been holding. in combination with your exhale, paul dipped his pointer finger into your little entrance, barely containing his laugh as you immediately went lax in his arms, letting out a loud whimper. “let me make you feel good, yea? just wanna try something new with you tonight,” he mused, smiling as you gave him a small nod and settled for burying your face in the crook of his neck, your breaths short as he gently pumped one finger in and out of your heat.
before you could even begin to focus on your need for an orgasm, paul continued, “embry’s gonna come over tonight,” he explained, pressing his lips to your hair to muffle his chuckle as he felt your velvet walls immediately clamp down on his fingers. he almost thought you were tensing up but when he felt your walls begin to coat his fingers, he knew you were definitely turned on by the idea.
you peeked up at him, unsure of what exactly he meant but you knew that paul knew just how much you’d been crushing on embry recently so you were mentally praying he’d be letting embry have his way with you just for the night, “‘m gonna tie you up and you’re gonna show him how good you are for him, yea?” he asked, his thumb dropping to gently slowly roll back the hood protecting your clit before he was pressing down on the sensitive nub.
you let out a low whine, breath catching as you tried to figure out what exactly what was going on. paul wasn’t exactly known for sharing so you were beyond confused what had convinced him to loan you out to his friend for the night but you couldn’t help the way your walls were desperately fluttering around paul’s finger as you thought of embry coming over for the night.
you gave him a slow nod and paul just smiled, starting to rub slow, tight circles against your clit as he leaned down to press a soft kiss to your lips, “i’m gonna watch and make sure you’re being good for him,” he murmured, parting his lips from your just enough to speak, “and he knows your safe word too and you know to use them if you need them. i know he’s gonna make you feel good though,” he reassured, smiling when he watched your wide eyes taking in everything he was saying.
you let out a hot and heavy sigh when he added a second finger to your heat, slowly scissoring them apart as he continued to toy with the nub between your thighs, “and you’re gonna listen to him and do what he tells you to do, yea?” he asked, pausing his movements for a moment when you didn’t immediately respond to him.
at the pause, you quickly nodded, “promise i’ll be good for him,” you blurted out, now desperate for him to continue his movements. paul let out another breathy laugh, resuming his slow curling of his fingers while he rolled your clit.
“that’s my girl,” paul praised, pressing his lips to your slowly drying hair to hide his smile as he felt your body’s immediate reaction to his praise. he pressed down on your clit one more time before withdrawing his fingers from your pussy, rolling his eyes when you immediately looked up at him with pleading eyes.
“gotta tie you up princess,” he reminded, pressing a quick kiss to your temple before he was getting up and helping you lay down on the bed so he could tie you up for embry’s highly anticipated arrival.
the butterflies in your belly were going wild as you watched paul pull your legs apart, tying one to each bedpost to keep you wide open for embry, “you promise this is real?” you whispered when paul came up to the top of the bed to tie your hands together.
he laughed softly as he got your hands tied to the bedboard, “promise it’s real princess,” he reassured, “now let me go let embry in, yea?” he asked, doing a rather poor job of hiding his smirk when he saw how excited and nervous you were for your crush’s arrival.
you nodded, letting out an exhale when paul leaned down to press a quick kiss to your forehead before he was getting up and heading out to presumably go let embry in. with his absence, your thoughts began racing and you quickly reminded yourself of how comfortable you and embry were with each other.
you knew he’d definitely seen you naked before just due to paul’s complete refusal to stop thinking about you during his patrol shifts but couldn’t help the way your mind was running with thoughts of what he’d think about you now that he actually had the chance to be with you himself.
before you could get too deep into the depths of your anxious thoughts, paul and the man of the hour appeared, “holy shit-” any breath left in embry’s lungs immediately left when he landed his eyes on your naked, helplessly bound figure.
“sexy, isn’t she?” paul mused with a cocky smile as he went to sit down on the chair at the corner of the bed he’d insisted the two of you add to the bedroom when he discovered just how much he enjoyed watching you touch yourself.
embry struggled to recompose himself, tearing his eyes from your dripping cunt to slowly run them up your figure, pausing again when he eyed your breasts, your nipples peeking up from your hyper-aroused state. the intensity of his gaze had you suddenly feeling a bit self-conscience and then you realized why paul had tied you up - so you had no chance of covering yourself.
“yea…” embry’s voice trailed off as his gaze continued up until he met yours, “you’re so beautiful,” he murmured, the two of you holding gazes for a moment as you both realized just how much you wanted this. before embry could get too lost in your eyes, he looked over to paul, “you’re sure you’re okay with this?” he asked as he tugged his shirt over his head and tossed it to the side. paul rolled his eyes, clearly a bit fed up with both you and embry being so apprehensive about the whole thing.
“positive. now go fuck her - she needs to get it out of her system,” he ordered, relaxing back into the chair, leaning back in a confident yet positively sexy position as he prepared to watch embry rail you.
embry hummed and nodded, turning his attention back to you as he tugged his sweatpants and boxers down, kicking them to the side. you sucked in a breath when you saw his naked figure, watching as his cock stood to attention against his abdomen, the tip already leaking pre-cum.
he smiled to himself, a rush of confidence hitting him when he realized you were the one watching him drunkenly, “‘m comin’ pretty thing,” he mused, smiling as he climbed onto the bed and got himself situated between your legs, his smile widening when he heard your giggles fill the air - quickly dissolving any tension left in the room.
“so i heard you like it rough,” he mused as he grabbed the bottle of lube paul had graciously left out on the side table, pumping some into his hand before he was tossing the bottle to the side and lathering his cock with it.
you blushed at his words, watching as he pumped his cock to coat himself with the lube, “mhm,” you murmured, more focused on his actions than anything at the moment. embry chuckled at your response, gently releasing his cock in favor of gently parting your folds with his fingers so he could slip his pointer finger inside you.
a soft gasp left your lips at the intrusion, “she’s stretched out,” paul reassured when he recognized what embry was doing, happy to know embry would be taking as good care of you as paul expected him to.
embry just flashed paul a quick smile over his shoulder before he was turning his attention back to you, gently pulling his finger out of your hole and replacing it with the head of his cock, “you let me know if i’m being too rough with you, yea?” he asked, waiting for you to nod before he was pushing his hips into yours, his cock immediately splitting your pussy open to stretch for him.
“em-” you whimpered, tugging at the restraints binding your hands as you struggled to process the pain of stretching for him alongside the delicious pleasure of being so full with your fiance’s friend’s cock. embry didn’t stop until he was fully seated inside you, his balls hanging low and heavy as they brushed against your ass.
“you know how good your pussy feels right now?” he asked breathlessly, barely hanging on as he felt your walls fluttering around him like crazy as you adjusted to the stretch, “i know why paul won’t shut up about you now,” he added as you let out a giggle, blushing like a mad woman underneath him.
embry smiled at you again and sucked in a breath to compose himself, only pausing for another moment before he was pulling his hips back and plunging back into your heat, immediately setting an unforgivingly fast pace. loud moans were quick to escape both of your lips, the two of you suddenly realizing just how desperate you both were to cum and make the other one feel just as good.
while you writhed against the restraints pinning you down, embry continued his assault on your cunt, taking his non-supporting hand to settle in between your legs and begin to toy with your clit. at the first touch, you were whining and bucking your hips up for more friction, forcing embry’s cock to kiss your cervix. the combination of sensations sent your brain into a tizzy and embry suddenly seemed hell bent on repeatedly feeling your cervix against the head of his cock, “holy fuck-” he groaned, quickening his thrusts as he began slamming himself into your pussy as hard as he could without breaking you, both of you feral to just finally cum on each other.
“embry please oh my god-” you whined, voice catching when he rolled your clit between his fingers and had you teetering right on the edge of an orgasm, the only thing holding you back was paul’s repeated conditioning for you not to cum until he let you.
as if he read your mind, paul spoke up in a voice much calmed than yours and embry’s, “she’s not gonna cum until you tell her she can,” he added, winking at you when you dropped your head to the side to look at him. the look alone had you groaning, eyes welling with tears as you realized not cumming on embry’s cock was proving to be much more difficult than you thought it would be.
“fuck you’re so good,” embry groaned, “cum on my cock,” his voice was breathless as he pounded into you. with a rather rough pinch to your clit, you came hard. the tsunami building up in your belly finally exploded as your world burst into a thousand different colors. you weren’t entirely sure you’d ever came that hard with anyone but paul before and that realization sent a whole other wave of pleasure crashing through your system.
as you collapsed back into the bed and let your orgasm wash over you, embry’s pace quickened, chasing his own orgasm. it didn’t take long, your walls throbbing around his cock had his balls tightening to a nearly painful level before he finally met his release, coating your swollen pussy in his marking.
ragged breaths left his lips as he slowed his thrusts, both of you lost in the post-orgasmic haze as you came back to earth. embry let out a heavy exhale allowing his hips to fall into yours, keeping himself buried inside you while he reached up with his free hand to gently undo the restraints binding your hands together.
as soon as your hands were free, you immediately wrapped your arms around him, holding him close to you. paul seemed to understand what embry wanted and got up to help get your legs untied as well, chuckling when he watched as you immediately tangled your legs around his waist, “you feel so good,” embry whispered, wrapping his non-supporting hand around you to hug you tightly against him.
you let out a quiet, breathy laugh at his comment, hardly containing the energy to even respond to the boy as you processed everything coursing through your system, “think you can get on your hands and knees for me?” he asked after a moment, pressing his lips to your collarbone before he was lifting his head to get a better read of your expression.
your eyes widened at his proposition, shocked that he was able to go for another round. you quickly nodded, looking over to paul who just let out a breathy laugh, “on your hands and knees princess,” he gently ordered, a smirk covering his features when he watched your gaze drop down to the tent clearly bulging in his sweatpants, “you’re taking care of embry right now, i’ll take you later,” he reminded and you nodded, just eager to please both boys as you turned your attention back to embry.
“i’ll help you,” embry murmured, arms flexing as he got himself up and slowly pulled his hardening cock out of your pussy, a shocking amount of cum dripping out of your puffy hole as he helped you roll over and got onto your hands and knees, “try going onto your forearms for me,” embry murmured when he realized you might definitely want to rest for a moment while he got you two ready for round two.
more than happy to comply, you dropped down to your forearms and rested your cheek against your arms so you could watch paul while embry pumped himself a few times to ensure he was hard enough to enter you, “you’re doing great princess,” paul reassured, “should see how hot your pussy looks when he’s stretching you out,” he mused, smiling when you immediately blushed and turned your head so he didn’t see the rosy tint covering your cheeks.
he just rolled his eyes, not totally sure why you were so easily flustered even when his friend’s cum was dripping down your thighs while you waited to be impaled by him for the second time that night. as if on queue, embry’s manhood was pressing against your entrance, allowing you a moment to prepare before he was sheathing himself in you in one quick thrust.
you let out a loud gasp at the intrusion, fingers tightening into fists against the bedsheets as you desperately looked for something to cling to. embry didn’t give you much breathing room as he snapped his hips against yours, hands tightening against your hips for leverage as he worked to fuck you as hard as he could.
just as you finally thought you’d regained a tiny bit of control, one of embry’s hands were sliding into your hair to pull you up to his chest. the change in angle allowed him to hit an even deeper part of you and you both let out loud moans, “your pussy is fuckin’ heaven,” he groaned, “gonna cum in that pretty little pussy again, yea? think you can take my cock filling you up with my cum, pretty thing?” he asked breathlessly, sliding his free hand around to grope at your breasts.
you let out a loud whine at the roughness of his thrusts in combination with his dirty words, your brain struggling to comprehend why on earth you found him cumming in you so hot. whether it was the taboo nature of it or the way it made you feel so sexy - you weren’t entirely sure but you knew you loved it too much to have him stop anytime soon.
“mhm-” you whimpered, a loud moan of pleasure leaving your lips as embry pinched your nipple between his fingers. paul’s chuckle echoed through your ears as he watched you cum undone on embry’s cock.
before you knew it, your second orgasm was rapidly approaching and you weren’t entirely sure you’d even stay conscious when it finally hit you as you felt how strong and fast it was approaching. embry was clearly good at reading your body and, when he felt the way your pussy somehow managed to tighten even more around him, he realized you’d definitely be cumming again shortly and the thought had him desperately chasing his own orgasm as his thrusts picked up the pace and harshness.
“let me feel you cum on my cock again,” embry ordered, voice tightening as his cock threatened to explode with another release before you met your orgasm, “cum on my cock pretty thing,” although it was a demand (and one that you received quite well) the desperation in his voice was clear as he tried to fight off his own orgasm.
he tightened his grip in your hair and rolled your nipple between his finger, the actions combined with the way he was impaling your pussy with his cock had you surrendering to him as a kaleidoscope of colors exploded in your mind.
embry held you up, the first throb of your pussy around him sending him to his own orgasm as he shot his release into your channel yet again. both of you were panting, sweating messes as you worked through your orgasms.
not wanting to part from you just yet, embry helped you lay down with him, still keeping himself tightly wedged inside you as his cum slowed to a trickle inside you, “taking me so well,” embry praised breathlessly, running his hand up and down your bare side while both boys waited for you to come back to them, “such a good girl,” he murmured, peppering your hair and temple with gentle kisses.
as you came back, your eyes fluttered open to meet paul’s who was watching you with a rather intense gaze - seeming quite interested in watching how hard you just came. you offered him a lazy smile before peeking over your shoulder to see embry who reciprocated your expression.
“that was so much better than i thought,” embry mused breathlessly, both of you letting out quiet laughs at his comment, “let me get you cleaned up, yea?” he asked and you frowned, looking over to paul who just rolled his eyes again, a teasing smile on his face.
“you’re way too swollen down there to go at it with him again,” he explained, glancing down to your abused cunt almost to check he was right before his gave came back up to yours, “you can have him for your birthday if he wants to,” he added and you beamed at him before looking over at embry who just let out a breathy laugh.
“you can have me whenever pretty thing,” he reassured, “that was fuckin’ amazing,” he added with another laugh. you giggled, pressing a quick kiss to his lips before he gave your hip a squeeze and gently pulled himself out of your sore cunt and got up.
paul tossed him a rag to clean you up with and embry said a soft ‘thanks’ to him before turning back to you. as he pulled your legs apart, he let out a low groan when he saw just how wrecked you were, “want the camera?” paul asked teasingly, both boys laughing darkly when paul handed him the polaroid camera you often used in your rendezvous.
you blushed, offering a shy smile to embry who snapped a quick picture of you and your dripping pussy before he was setting the camera to the side to get you cleaned up, “you want some water?” embry asked as he got to work between your legs, gently wiping up all your combined fluids from your thighs before lightly swiping through your folds despite protests from you.
“drink,” paul encouraged, both boys pretty different to your whines of overstimulation as paul handed you your hydroflask to sip. with a pout on your face, you took a few sips, letting embry finish his cleanup job before he was pressing a rather cheeky kiss to your clit.
“embry!” you laughed, a smile on your face as he cheekily got out from in between your thighs to pull his clothes back on.
“shirt?” paul asked as he got up from his chair to help you get dressed. with your nod, he helped you into one of his old shirts and a new pair of panties for you as embry finished redressing himself.
paul pressed a quick kiss to your hair before he got up to go check his phone and you frowned when embry came to stand between your thighs, clearly getting ready to say goodnight. embry took your hands into his, offering you a small smile when he saw your frown, “thank you pretty thing,” he mused, taking your hands to his mouth to press a gentle kiss to your knuckles.
you frown deepened and he just chuckled, shaking his head, “i’ll see you tomorrow at emily’s for dinner, yea?” he asked and you reluctantly nodded, “and your birthday is in a few weeks anyway. plus you’ve got paul to keep you busy,” he added both of you laughing knowingly seeing how open paul was with everyone about his nearly insatiable sex drive.
with a soft sigh, you nodded, standing up to pull embry into a tight hug that he gladly returned. “i’ll see you tomorrow then pretty thing,” he murmured, pressing his lips to your hair with one final, tight squeeze before he released you just as paul came back in.
“all good princess?” paul asked, looking relieved when you looked over your shoulder to smile and nod.
taking his queue, embry gave you one more smile, “see you later pretty thing!” embry called as he strode out of the room.
“i’ll be right back,” paul reassured before following embry out to thank him and make sure he got out okay. within a few moments, paul was returning and his gaze softened when he saw your figure now curled up under the covers of your shared bed.
“was that good?” he asked, pulling back the covers just enough to crawl in with you and pull you into his chest.
you nodded, letting out a happy sigh as you looked up at him, “so good,” you whispered, pressing a quick kiss to his chest, “thank you,” you added, giggling when he squeezed you even closer to him and pressed a quick kiss to your temple.
“can i help you out now? i missed you,” you murmured, running your hand down his bare abdomen so you could gently tug at his sweatpants.
“oh i think you definitely can,” he laughed, rolling over so he could settle between your thighs and get to work.

By the fire | Embry Call
a/n: this one got away from me, but i LOVE it.
request; Can you do Embry X reader where he bumps into Her and imprints but is too scared to tell her because he soon has to tell reader about the pack and doesn't want to hurt reader so Kim asks reader to lunch. You can choose the other details
warnings; i dont think any <3
EMBRY;
He couldn't believe it.
He hadn't seen you since you'd gone to Forks high school, but you'd always been around, right? Right? He suddenly couldn't remember.
Embry'd bumped into you, literally bumped - as he was walking backwards in his mom's store, goofing with Jared and Quil about... he didn't even remember what - when he knocked into you. You'd been talking to his mom, when he knocked something right out of your hands. Quil and Jared had continued laughing, but when he caught your eye, nothing was funny.
Nothing was funny but everything was beautiful. He'd never noticed the colour of your eyes, the depths they held, the secrets they told. He never noticed the way you tilt your head slightly when looking at something. He felt a knot tie around his heart, felt it beat rapidly against the tight coils. Gravity shifted, planets moved, the stars changed, all of it a map leading him to you.
"I'm sorry," he choked out, trying to pick up the little figurine that fell at the same time as you, when you both reached for it, your hands touched, and he felt electricity shock all the way up to his elbow. "I'm sorry," he repeated, moving his hand for the trinket, picking it up and handing it to you. "I'm so sorry."
"It's okay," you said, smiling, "no harm no foul."
Your smile made his stomach drop like he was on a rollercoaster, you were so beautiful, he wanted to pull you close and never let go. Wanted to protect you from anyone that may cause you harm. wanted to make sure you were always happy, always warm, always comfortable.
You made the world turn.
"Are you okay?" you asked, "you kinda look like you're gunna throw up."
"Never better," he said quietly, mustering up a weak smile.
He was filled with excitement and anxiety. Suddenly riddled with worry and doubt, and just genuine concern for you. Were you dating anyone? What were your friends like? What were your hobbies?"
"Anyway," his mom, Tiffany said, breaking his stare from you, "you're hired, I'll let the owners know."
"Really? We never even had an interview," you said, smiling widely.
"I feel good about it, I can see the good in you," she winked at embry, "Can you start on the weekend?"
"Yeah of course! I'll see you then!"
Tiffany left then, someone else trying to check out at the register. You turned back to Embry, smile wild and genuinely. His heart could've melted than and there.
"What luck," you said, hitting him with your elbow playfully, "you might be my good luck charm."
Quil and Jared were still in the store, pretending to be interesting in some wooden figurines on the shelf, but were also clearly trying to sneak peeks at the two of you. Embry tried to subtly shoo them away, but they just pretended not to see.
"I have to get going," he said, ending the conversation. He noticed the disappointment on your face, and he felt bad. You would've been feeling everything that he was feeling, but you wouldn't understand. Or did you? He didn't know, did you feel your soul change? Your priorities shift? Did you feel different down to the core, like he did?
"Oh, okay, yeah," you smiled, "maybe i'll see you around?"
"You will," he said, resisting the urge to lean forward and touch you, brush your hair behind your ears. Instead he clenched his fists, leaving them dangling by his side. "I know where you are." He stuttered when you looked confused, "work! where you work i meant..." Jared snorted behind him, trying his hardest not to laugh.
"I'll see you later embry," you laughed, waving goodbye to Tiffany and leaving the store he watched as you lifted your hood up, sheilding from the light rain and left the beach.
"She knows my name," he said, goofy grin on his face.
"You're an idiot," Jared laughed, "I know where you are??? No game whatsoever."
"Shut up," Quil said, elbowing him. "He was nervous."
"What do I do?" Embry asked, feeling lost. You weren't anywhere near this, he shouldn't bring you into this, right? Wouldn't bringing you into this life be more dangerous?
"What do you mean? protect her, I don't know, hangout with her?" Jared said, "it's kind of self explanatory."
YOU;
What a weird morning. First, you're walking down First Beach which you haven't done in who knows how long, and you see the souvenirs shop and a 'now hiring' sign in the window - which never happens because the last person they hired was Tiffany Call and that was over ten years ago, so you decided to go in. And when you're talking to Tiffany about applying, her son, Embry, who you haven't seen in years bumps into you and... and suddenly nothing made any sense at all.
You thought you had it all figured out, wanted a quiet life in the woods. had no real desire to leave this small town - and then suddenly, you didn't know anything. Didn't what you wanted, or with who... like you locked eyes with this boy and the axis your world revolved around just... changed. There was something new, a feeling you didn't understand, a feeling you wanted to run towards, and away from. Wanted to push, and pull.
Walking home from the gift shop that day was otherworldly. You wanted to be around Embry again, not to be creepy you just... you wanted him around. Felt like maybe he had a place in your life. But you hadn't really seen him around much... and it sounds creepy but you kinda thought, well, it seemed like you always kind of felt like he was around. In the dead of the night, with a sky full of stars, you would think - maybe it's crazy - but you would swear he was nearby.
But you hadn't seen him, and you had no other reason to think he was around except for an inkling, a tingle that said, 'oh good, he's here.' It helped you sleep. Made you feel comfortable.
That was nearly a week ago, and now you were reading a book, sitting as comfortably as you could on the plastic chair behind the register of the shop, waiting for anyone to need you or ask for help, but it'd been a slow day.
The bell above the door dinged, startling you out of the paragraph you were reading.
It was Kim... uh... Kim, you racked your brain trying to remember her last name but came up with nothing. She smiled at you, browsing around the store for a moment. She'd grown up around here, you had to wonder what she would need in a souvenir shop. But you smiled nonetheless, closing your book and making yourself available.
"Nice day out there," she said, toying with a necklace, twirling a few beads around the string. "Looks like there might be some nice sun later."
"I sure hope so," you said, tapping your fingers quickly on the counter, "my flowers are begging for some sunshine."
She laughed, "yeah, sounds about right."
"Anything in particular you're looking for?" you asked, rounding the counter and joining her by the jewelry. She looked at you, something soft in her features that felt so familiar, so welcoming. "I swear I'm not watching you, you're just the first person I've talked to in like, two hours."
Kim laughed again, "Slow day?"
"Like you wouldn't believe," you said, picking up a green beaded necklace. "This would suit you, I think."
She looked at it for a second, taking it from your hands and putting it around her neck without fastening it. "Yeah, I think you're right. There's a fire tonight, would be nice to wear something new for a change."
"Sales is easy," you joked, walking back behind the register, ringing in the total on the prehistoric register.
"Mm, I'm pretty easy to persuade, not sure if it should be an example of your salesmanship..."
"The boss doesn't need to know that though," you smiled, taking her money and returning her change.
"Hey you should come hangout sometime," she said, "maybe I can take you to a late lunch at the diner before the fire tonight?"
"You wanna take me to lunch?"
She blushed, "not as like a date... not that I wouldn't want to! I mean... I just thought-"
Your laugh cut her off, "Kim, I'm kidding. Lunch would be great."
"Funny," she rolled her eyes, but smiled. "I'll come pick you up later. Still at the same house?"
You nodded, and she left with a smile, waving goodbye. The bell rang again as she left, and you watched her trot across the road, getting into a car with Jared Cameron, the boy who'd been in the store with Embry a couple days ago.
After your shift finished - and nearly your book due to the shocking lack of customers - you got home and changed, grabbing a shower before getting ready quickly.
Kim was out front, patiently waiting while you pulled on your shoes.
When you joined her in the car, she was just getting off the phone, speaking quickly and hushed. You looked around the area before you got in, that same funny feeling that maybe Embry was somewhere close.
"Ready?" she asked, kicking you out of your own thoughts.
"Yeah, totally..."
"Everything okay?"
"Yeah, it's just..." you were desperate to share this with someone. Your mom was long gone, and your dad had been out at his brother's for the last month or so, hunting and fishing. Not that you'd want to tell your parents about the obsession you'd been having for the Call boy... "It's weird," you sighed, "I shouldn't bother you with it."
"Try me," she said.
And there was something about her kind smile, and the soft look in her eye... you did. You spilled your guts all the way to the diner, and continued explaining your bizarre interaction and feelings until just after you'd ordered, that's when you finished explaining you'd hoped he'd come by the store, but he hasn't. And explained how you had this weird sensation that he was there when he wasn't.
"...and it's extra crazy cause we didn't even say that much to each other, like, I just felt... something. Like a cosmic connection? I guess? Is that nuts?"
"I don't think that's nuts at all," she shook her head, smiling and thanking the waitress who delivered your food. "You know, the same thing happened to me with Jared, and it turns out he had been around when I thought he was."
"Really?"
"Really. Same exact thing..." Kim looked like she wanted to say more, but hesitated. She ate some fries instead.
"I just want him to come by like he said he would," you said, pushing your plate away. Suddenly, you weren't that hungry. "You know?"
"Maybe you should go to him?" she offered, waving a fry around before eating it. "He'll be at the fire tonight, you should come."
"Do you think I should?"
"It's not like an official meeting or anything, just a fire Emily and Sam wanted to throw," she said casually, "Sam Uley, I mean."
"I don't want to just show up uninvited," you blushed, slinking into your seat, but you thought about it.
"I'm inviting you!" she smiled, that genuine, kind smile... she was hard to say no to. It felt nice to hangout with someone, your friends had mostly left for college and you forgot how fun it was to yap.
"Okay," you said, straightening up, "okay, I will."
It was nighttime when you and Kim pulled up to the fire. A starless sky, but a beautiful night.
There was a group of people already huddled around a fire, and the nerve you'd conjured up had began to fade. Would Embry think this is weird? Were you weird? No, no, Kim had insisted. This wasn't even your idea. Would Embry believe that?
"Babe, hey!" Jared said, scampering over to hug his girlfriend, kissing her cheek. "Hey, y/n, how's it going?"
"Fine thanks," you said, "nice fire."
"Paul did it," he said, "he's kind of the fire guy of the paaaaa-rty..." he smiled, laughing like he hadn't confused his words.
"Come meet everyone, they're all nice. No one bites," Kim whispered, "Maybe Paul bites, just a little."
"Everyone," Jared announced, "this is y/n! Y/n, this is; Rachel, Paul, Emily, Sam, Quil, Jacob, Embry, Seth, annnnnnnnd Leah."
Embry's eyes were wide, locked on you from the moment Jared walked up with you. You felt embarrassed, like maybe coming here was a bad idea. You sat next to Kim, Rachel on your otherside, who smiled kindly at you, introducing herself again, and the conversation continued easily, and it was fun. But Embry was quiet, watching you as you laughed with Kim and Rachel, talking about an elementary teacher you'd all had in different years, enjoying a night out for the first time in a long time.
But you felt his eyes. They didn't seem angry, or judgemental... didn't seem like he thought you were a freak. And yet, Embry watched you, unable to focus on anything else. Quil nudged him, encouraging him to talk to you, but Embry brushed him off, looking into the fire for less than a minute before his eyes wandered back to you.
"We need more wood," Paul said, clapping Embry on the back hard enough that he lurched forward a little, "your turn."
"I went last time," he said, rolling his eyes, but getting up do to it anyway.
"And for your lovely assistant," Paul pointed at different people as he said; "eeny, meeny, miney, new girl," Paul landed at you, smiling as Rachel elbowed him roughly in the side. Not quietly at all he said, "What? That was subtle til you hit me."
"I don't need help," Embry said quietly, watching as you got up to do it without question.
"No it's okay, I wanna help," you said.
Embry led you over to a small shed, it's only contents were stacks of wood. He started loading up his hands, gesturing for you to stack a couple more on top. You started, but a log slid in your hand funny, and you yelped, dropping it in his arms and looking at your hand.
In an instant, Embry dropped the pile, grabbing your hand in his and looking at it, searching for the injury.
"Splinter," you said, "sorry."
"Does it hurt? Are you hurt?"
"I mean it stings a little, I guess, but I'm fine." But you didn't pull away, you wanted him to keep holding you, it was warm, and soft, and he smelled good. Like honey and oak. And he was so tall, towering over you but holding you so gingerly, inspecting your sliver.
"C'mon," he said, keeping your wrist in his grip, careful not to disturb the little piece of log in your hand, and led you out of the shed and into a house. Embry led you to the bathroom, bringing you into the small room and shuffling through the medicine cabinet with one hand, in the other - he still hadn't let yours go.
"Hey, I'm okay," you said quietly, "I can do it if you want, it's all good."
"I'll do it," he said gruffly, continuing his search for tweezers. When he found them, looking at your hand again. As if it were a medical procedure, he took a breath, and then grabbed the splinter, pulling it out swiftly but gently, making sure it didn't separate and get stuck. "You feel okay?"
"I'm fine, Embry," you giggled, "It was just a splinter."
He smiled a little, light blush on his cheeks as he looked around the small bathroom. "Still," he looked at you, resolve to avoid you shattering and disapatting, he wouldn't be strong enough to fight it for one minute longer. "They hurt sometimes."
You laughed, "yeah, I guess they do."
Embry continued to hold your hand, looking at you with those eyes that just made you melt. It was crazy to feel this way about him already right? Crazy that if he asked you to be his, you would be? It was too soon. But still... you wanted him to.
"We should get back," you said, gesturing towards the fire. "They might get worried."
"Wait," he said, looking back in the cabinet, pulling a small bandaid out, covering the tiny hole in your hand. "Don't want anything to get in there."
"Thanks," you said, and when he finally dropped your hand, you wished he hadn't.
You led him out of the house, and back to the shed - where he didn't let you help again for fear of another life threatening injury, and brought the wood over the fire.
And Embry was more animated when he rejoined everyone, opting to sit between you and Rachel rather than over by his best friends. He was close to you, but he didn't touch you again for the rest of the night.
Kim had driven you home before it got too late, and now you were in your bed, trying to sleep but you were stuck daydreaming about those few moments in the bathroom. It was playing on repeat. The way he looked at you, took care of you. All of it, it was so... attractive? You were so drawn to him.
A knock on the door made you jump, and you thought about not answering it. But there was something in your heart that said you should, that gentle nudge that Embry was nearby made you think.... yea, okay.
So you did, you swung the door open, and Embry was there, standing in the glow of the moon. He looked sheepish, goofy smile on his mouth that just made you smile.
"Embry?"
"I forgot something at the fire, or... I mean, maybe I remembered something?"
"Well, what did you forget or remember?"
And he didn't answer in words, but instead caressed your cheeks with his hands, and pulled you in for a kiss. It was soft, delicate like he was. You closed your eyes, reaching up on your tippy toes to push yourself deeper into the kiss, closer into Embry, like you wanted to be engulfed by him, surrounded and ensnared by the all thing Embry.
His mouth worked against yours, movements equal parts measured and natural, calculated and instinct. He walked forward, forcing you into the house where he kicked the door shut behind him, keeping you tight against him. His tongue sliding against your lower lip, but the pulling it between his teeth, biting just hard enough to make you gasp.
But then he switched, kissing you slower, more tender than you've ever known. Until he pulled away, holding you close but just looking at you. He smiled, it was so small, you nearly missed it, the way the corners of his mouth twitched upwards. And he kissed you again, one lingering peck. Before pulling away, trailing his hands slowly over your arms, the light touch of his fingers on your arms made you shiver. And when he got to your hands, he entertwined your fingers, holding both your hands.
"You're so beautiful," he said, "I'm sorry I didn't come see you sooner."
"Forgiven," you said, meaning it.
He smiled. Every single feature on his face was sculpted and perfect. He let go of one hand, brushing your hair off of your face, tucking it behind your ear. "But don't answer the door like that at this hour again, too dangerous."
You laughed, hitting him softly. He laughed too, bringing you into a hug, pulling you into his chest.
He would have to tell you everything. There was still a lot unspoken, but he would tell you everything tomorrow, but for now, for right now, he was just gunna hold you. And that was enough.

Red String Witch
Embry Call x Witch!Reader
Summary: Tired of waiting on meeting your soulmate. You use your witch powers to speed up the meeting.
The red string theory is an old Chinese theory where every person is born with an invisible red string tied to their pinky finger.
Over time the string will tighten making the journey to their soulmate more difficult, the string might get tangled and tied but never severed.
Once the string draws you both together, the red string will remain short, keeping you two together and never apart for long.
Patience was not a trait that you possessed.
Since honing your witchcraft as a teenager, your patience slowly dwindled, often opting for witchcraft to quickly resolve any obstacles in your way.
Your discipline to not use magic in your every waking moment became an extremely abstract concept. If there was one rule that you set yourself, it was to let your relationships grow and develop naturally without any magical intervention.
It would only make the adventure of life boring.
So it was then that your teenage self promised to not use magic to conjure your soulmate. It would only ruin the organic meet-cute you were destined to experience.
But your teen years have long since passed and now you sit in your cottage home as a grown adult, alone and yearning for a partner to share a life with, looking down at yet another wedding invitation. ‘Plus ones are welcomed’ the letter reads. Sighing to yourself, knowing you have no one.
It was that very moment you had forsaken your childish promise to not intervene with the natural order and just speed up the meeting already.
What’s the point in having magic if you don’t make use of it? If others could, they would too.
It’s not like you were going to use magic to manipulate your soulmate. You were just going to use magic to locate and meet your soulmate and woo them, so you can finally be together and live happily ever after.
It’s not technically cheating … right ?
Any hesitation was snuffed out when a notification rung out, your phone screen displaying pictures of a new engagement ring from another friend.
A stabbing reminder that seemingly everyone in the world had someone, and you yet remain lonesome.
Moral values be damned.
You tried doing it the right way, but your soulmate is taking his sweet ass time meeting you.
Since he took too long, you’re just going to have to take matters into your own hands.
Sitting in your safe space, you preformed a viel ceremony to enable you to visualise and see the red string tied around your pinky finger. Immediately, you see the taut red string pointing towards the west. Indicating that your soulmate is currently in a western direction.
“The worst part of having imprinted is having to convince them of the bond.” Paul states, taking a hulking bite from is plate, as the others murmur in agreement.
The roaring bondfire sizzle and crackles in the crisp night air as the Uley pack discuss the worst parts of imprinting as they feast on the evening’s barbecue.
“No the worst part of imprinting is meeting them young.” Quil argues as Jacob pats his back empathetically.
“No, the worst part has to be explaining that the supernatural is real.” Sam says, as the others murmur in agreement. “Burdening your imprint with a new and dangerous reality is heart breaking, but keeping them in the dark is a betrayal and a greater danger to their safety.”
“Please, at least all of you whiny babies have an imprint.” Leah broods.
Embry nods along in solidarity. “Can’t say I’m looking forward to any of that.” Embry agrees, stabbing his fork aimlessly at his plate. “But I agree with Leah, I’ll gladly do all of that if it means I finally get to meet my imprint.”
Paul snorts are Embry’s claim. “Sure kid, just wait and see. In fact, when you meet your imprint, and you have to convince and explain to her the bond and the supernatural, I’m gonna be sitting their and laughing my ass off.”
The window blows the tree branches unceremoniously, as if hearing Paul’s taunting challenge.
Seth stands from his comfy seat to point out a mysterious figure emerging from the tree line. “Uh, guys, who’s that?”
Your quick strides soon draw you near the group, your eyes locked onto Embry as he feels gravity moving as you become the centre of reality that holds him down and nothing else. You become his sole focus as the world fades away before he feels reality shift back to normal.
It didn’t take a single word for everyone to know the mysterious figure approaching their group was Embry’s imprint.
Paul begins to grin, his taunts playing out before his eyes.
You continue to stride silently past the others, eyes unmoving from Embry until you are just at an arms length.
“This may sound crazy, but you are my soulmate.” You utter, expecting shock, resistance, mockery or denial. But instead Embry smirks with an airy laugh.
“Funny. I was going to say the same to you.” He says, rocking on his feet excitedly. Glancing down with a cheeky grin to Paul whose mouth is left agape.
“Really? Just like that, you accept my outrageous claim?” You ask relieved but also sceptical.
Embry shrugs his shoulders. “It’s a wolf thing, you?”
“It’s a witch thing.” You begin to giggle at Embry’s widening eyes. “Come for a walk with me, we have much to discuss.” You grab his hand and begin to drag him away from the pack who remains in stunned silence.
“That’s so unfair.” Paul whines as the other grimace in the ease of Embry meeting and bypassing all of the difficult rites of imprinting.

Desperate🍂
Summary: Embry was your best friend since birth never a day without him and when he magically disappeared from your life it shattered your world, desperate to just see him one more time
Pairing: Embry Call x f!reader
•Masterlist•
Being born in forks with your twin sister Bella, it was a crazy start, mom hated it here and took Bella with her leaving me with my dad, the chief of police Charlie Swan, we had a simple life and I loved it we’d have supper together most nights talking about our days, he treated me good he never went a day without making me feel loved, when mom left taking only Bella, I remember her saying I was too much to handle that Bella was quiet and would be easy, after that I feel incredibly bad about myself but Embry was there, even as kids he was always there for me and I was there for him
Today we planned to go to La Push beach and have the whole day together so I got in my shared truck with Bella since she moved back now, and drove down to the beach
Parking in my usual spot and walking down to the beach, taking off my shoes I let the sand cover my feet as I sat in the spot Embry and I always hung out in, close to the water so the breeze from the ocean could relax us, he always said it was his favorite thing to do, just sit with me enjoy the moments we shared
An hour had passed and still no embry so I decided to go to the little shack on the beach and get an ice cream, after getting my favorite flavour I went back to the spot seeing Embry finally here, quick to sit next to him
“Hey Em what took you so long?” I asked as he wrapped his arm around my waist
“Sorry sweets slept through my alarm but we still have the rest of the day right?!” He said smiling down at me, over the last couple of months he’s shot up in height and has become way leaner and muscular
“Of course!” We spent the next few hours walking along the shore with our shoes off, walking through the trees near the beach, getting more ice cream since he was complaining how hot he was even though it was a typical cool cloudy day in La push
Soon he was turning more red and getting light headed then angry, which I’ve never seen before
“I have to go, I’m sorry” he said running to his truck and driving off leaving me confused, finishing the day early I drove back home where it had become gloomy, Bella was always screaming at night and dad and I would barely get sleep anymore, some nights I was allowed to stay over at Embrys to help
I hung up my coat and made my way to the phone dialing Embrys home phone, it rang and rang and rang, sighing I left a message hoping he’d listen and call me back letting me know if he was okay
I slumped down at the dinner table picking at the fries feeling like something was wrong
“You okay kiddo?” Dad asked from across the table
“Yeah it’s just, something happened with Em today, he might be sick I’m just worried”
“I’m sure he’s fine! He’ll probably call you in the morning”
“Yeah I guess”
It’s been a month with no word from Embry, I called all the time only getting word from his mom saying he’s severely sick but I couldn’t believe it, and now I know how Bella feels well felt, she’s been hanging with Jacob and seems to be getting better now I’m the gloom of the house
“Kid you can’t stay in the house all the time outside of school, go for a walk at the beach or something I know you love that” his words made tears bead along my waterline
“Dad you don’t understand, I need him it feels like somethings broken in me, he’s never done this to me before I mean did I do something wrong?” I cried into my hands
“Honey you couldn’t do anything wrong you’re my like sweetheart, maybe he’s just going through something, maybe go for a little hike get some fresh air”
“Fine” I pulled on my shoes and left out the back door walking the trail all the way till I got to the jumping cliff, Embry had taken me here many times because it gave a great view of the ocean, he once even set up a picnic for my birthday
I love embry I always have but I could never admit that to him and risk the friendship we have
After about an hour I was ready to leave when I heard a growl from behind me, turning slowly full of fear with the recent hiker attacks, glowing yellow eyes in the trees as it had gotten dark, but when I heard a whine my fear disappeared
“Hello?” I asked stepping closer
Another whine was heard before a huge wolf emerged from the trees and my breathe was taken from me, it came nearer pressing its snout against my palm as I started running my hair through its beautiful fur
“You remind me of someone, you’re so gentle, I had a friend he was my best friend, I loved him but he’s gone now, I don’t even know if I’ll ever see him again if he ever wants to even see me again, I guess I just miss him” I don’t know why but spilling my heart out to this gentle giant made that weight of my chest lighter, the wolf licked my face before walking back into the woods
Another rustle was heard in the trees and a few seconds later the last person I expected to see came walking towards me, Embry but he was even stronger and taller and his hair was cut and a tattoo
“Em? Where did you come from?”
“It’s me well I mean…..that the wolf…it’s me”
“What but how you can’t be……” but then all the stories of the tribe I heard over the years came flooding back, descended from wolves
“By that look I think you already know, I never wanted to leave you god it killed me to be apart from you but that day……that day I got sick I was changing, there’s more of us, Sam Jared Paul, but it’s a secret you already know that, but when we change anger runs out entire life it wasn’t safe to be around you, I couldn’t live with myself if I hurt you, but then I caught your scent out here and I couldn’t take it anymore I had to see you”
“But if it’s a secret why are you telling me everything?”
“This is crazy but, people in our pack we have soulmates, picked when we are born the person who’s our other half, each wolf has an imprint and when you see them it’s like your whole world changes everything is about her, she’s your life the one that keeps you going”
My heart dropped the way he was explaining everything sounded like he already found her
“Have you….have you already got an imprint, you’ve found your soulmate” I said my voice shaking as my lip quivered
“I have and I knew, I’ve always known it’s only ever been you, I love you, forever”
“Forever Em”

which way - embry x reader
Two figures were basking in the afternoon day. The window was wide open, the soft breeze flow through. The conversation was light and a bit hushed.
You both lie on your bed as you lay on your side with your head resting your head up, your other hand was close to him.
He lay mirrored to your position. One elbow supported his upper body, his other hand was close to you.
You reach and wipe a small tear, flicking it elsewhere as you then ask with a smile, “And then what happened?”
Softly chuckling, he then speaks out, “We both ended up falling.” He shakes his head at the memory.
“Poor baby. I would’ve protected you had you been there.” you joke and say and earn a laugh from him.
Embry was finished telling the story how he went ice skating with his friends. One of his friends grabbed onto him while they were falling. You were entrapped in his storytelling. He did a good job of making you feel like you were in it.
“Next time, it will just be us.” Embry declares but reaches his close hand to cover yours. As he smooths out the skin of your hand, you tell reveal to him, “I would like to meet your friends.”
Embry blinks.
He started to get a bit antsy and you rub his arm, soothing him and sensing his nervousness.
“I don’t think it’s really necessary, really.” Embry says.
“Come on. You tell me stories like that and I don’t get to meet these guys?” you ask while a chuckle bubbles from your throat as your brain went back to imagining how the clumsy catastrophe he told you, would look like.
“Yeah, but…” Embry says and looks at you and shrug. You then decided to let the conversation flow into another direction.
Leaving his home, you forgot that you need some toothpaste. Looking through the different selection, you hear a woman voice.
“Your shoes are cute!”
You turn around and see a short haired woman staring back at you. A soft smile is on her face as she looks down then back at you.
“Oh. Thanks.” You say politely with your own small smile.
You then look at her.
“Your shirt is cute.” you tell her back and she smiles and says, “Thank you.”
“Where did you get it from?” you ask as you now had the toothpaste you wanted in your hand. She tells you as you both walk toward the checkout line.
“I love that place.” you comment and she nods and smiles, “We should go together.”
Your smile turns bigger.
“I would love that.”
Exchanging phone numbers, you two go on each other’s way.
You two did follow with each other’s plans. You both met up with each other that following weekend as Embry told you he had work.
You and Leah did mostly window shopping but it was nice to get to know each other better. The conversations flowed as you two bounced comedically off one another.
“I have a friend. He’s single.” Leah tells you as you both bite into a snack.
This makes you chuckle lightly, “Really? Already trying to hook me up with someone?”
Leah shrugs with a smile.
Leah comes back and entered Sam and Emily’s home. A smile on her face made people ask her, “Where did you come from?”
“Just got back from a day out. I met this girl and Embry I swear she’s your type to a T.” Leah says as she sees Embry sitting at the table.
“What do you mean my type?” Embry inquired.
“I’m telling you, you guys would look perfect together.” Leah says as she also haves a seat.
Embry shakes his head with a grin, “You are something else.”
You saw him the following day. You both shared a grin and before you both could speak, you both laugh. That’s what you both loved about each other. No words could be said and one look could make each other laugh.
“What did you do yesterday?” Embry asks as he traced his finger in your hand. He held it out as he watched. You watched as well.
“Went shopping with a friend. She tried hooking me up with someone.” you say and you playfully roll your eyes.
He laughs, “My friend tried to hook me up too.” You share a laugh with him.
“Nobody’s taking you away from me.” you say and lean forward to place a kiss on his nose.
“And nobody’s taking you away from me.” Embry declares as his lips pressed to your lips.
You thought it would a small light peck but, the strength of his body weight fluidly pushed your body back onto his soft bed.
You smile into the kiss as your body jolted with excitement. Everytime you got excited, Embry got even more excited. His hand shook as your legs were in the air as he hastily pulled your pantries off. You sit up and he’s already naked and grabs your hand as he stares you. You’re pumping him and watching him grow. A deep pit fills your stomach as hes grunting and unashamedly using his fingers to leave goosebumps on your skin. He sits up and pulls you close to him. You’re both sitting in front of each other and you scoot in to place your legs on each side of his body. The excitement alone in his eyes created noises from you. He’s sleeking himself along your wet moist center as you two grind and fall into intoxicated kisses. You loved how he held you close and pulled your hair back with one big hand, exposing your neck up to him. He always took advantage as he slammed you up and down on him. His hand was gripping all of you as you grip onto him back. You just loved spending time with him.
Sitting on the bench, you decided to just bring a comic book that Embry let you borrow to read as the day wasn’t so bad with weather.
“Where did you get that from?”
You hear a male voice and look over to see a set of eyes staring at you. You turn to see if maybe he’s talking to anybody else but you don’t have long to question because the voice speaks again as they read the cover with clear diction but it was filled with humor that made you smile a bit.
“There’s only one other person I know who reads that.” They say as they now sit on the bench.
“You don’t like it?” you ask since he gave a disbelief look while shaking his head.
“Let’s just say it caused a lot of arguments.” They say as they look off and you laugh.
He introduces himself and they ask what you think about it.
“I don’t know it’s pretty cool. The plot makes sense so and it’s not too destructive. Hopefully no one dies.” you say as you held it up slightly.
“You sound just like him.” They laugh as they point a bit.
You capture the finger with your hand and tell them it’s not funny.
“Quil, I’m not interested in your little friend. You just reminded me to head home.”
You say but he jumps up and says, “Or..” he drags out with a smirk and you just stare at him, “We could go to the comic store.” He says and you roll your eyes hard but you agree.
You enjoyed the banter between you two. It felt natural and easy and you both agreed to hang out again soon. You don’t say goodbye because he begs one more time to let him introduce you to a friend of his.
Embry knocks on Quil’s door to remind him to know it’s his turn for patrol. Quil opens it and soon they fall into the conversation of what Quil did earlier.
“The same exact comic book.” Quil says and Embry looks uninterested.
“Dude, i’ve never seen a girl with that. This girl has to be your soulmate. I’m hooking you two up.” Quil continued and Embry waved him off.
“You’re missing out.” Quil says, eyeing his friend that wouldn’t take the bait.
“I’m not missing much. Trust me.” Embry says as he closed his eyes while he laughed.
Embry was supposed to grab a bite with Jacob. You were hungry and decided to drop by to treat your hunger pain.
Jacob was midway done with his food as you walked into the food place. You eyed the menu as he overheard you order.
When you were done, you then typed to Embry that he should meet you at the same place that you’re eating at.
Jacob received the news from Embry that he had a change of plans, Jacob didn’t care. He ate already. He gets up and makes a comment to you as he throws his trash away.
“You order like someone I know.” He just says and you take a look at him.
“Is that a bad thing or a good thing?” you ask with a nervous chuckle.
He takes a pause as he takes a moment, not long, to think, “It’s a him thing.” he decides.
“Your friend has good taste.” you say with unserious humor coating your tone.
He takes a look at you before saying, “You’re his taste, actually.”
You roll your eyes, “Yeah, I get that alot.” you say. You remember the hookups of people trying to get with you and their friend.
“Im so serious. I have to introduce you two, you both would hit it off.” he says.
“I don’t even know you. So, I definitely don’t want to get to know your friend.” you say and he introduces himself.
“Jacob, I still don’t want your friend.” you say and laugh.
“Be my friend. At least.” Jacob says. He thinks it’s easier to introduce you two.
“We have nothing in common.” you comment.
Jacob’s eyes look around the restaurant.
“Uh..Yeah, we do.”
“Good point.” you say.
Jacob walks back in the direction he came from when he sees a familiar face.
“I swear she ordered the exact same way.” Jacob says as he walked with Embry back to the place he left from.
“Oh, yeah?” Embry asks, not really listening. He was looking forward to sitting down with you.
“She was just here, I swear.” Jacob says as he looked around. Embry just clasps his shoulder, “Better luck next time.”
Jacob walks away confused and you come out of the bathroom.
“Hey, I ordered for both of us.” you say as you held him close to you as you greet him.
He placed a sweat heart kiss on your cheek as he smiled, “Thanks.”
You both sit and eat as you two talk.
“I was supposed to meet a friend but I’d rather hang with you.” Embry admits.
“Wow.” you say laughing.
Wanting to get home before the rain, you kiss him a farewell. He watched you leave until he couldn’t see your figure anymore.
With a reminder, you remember to return a package. Trying to open the big glass door, you try to hold tight of the big package as well.
The door soon opens with ease as a large hand graced the top of the door, holding it open.
“Thank you.” you say.
“Jeez what are you bringing back?” they ask and the bluntness makes you laugh.
“Something that I bought off of impulse.” you simply say and they ask a question, “What?”
“A gaming console.” you say and sigh as you look at the item you barely touched. The money
They laugh, “You remind me of someone I know.”
“Really? Well, I hope they were a good person.” you say as you wait in line.
“Yeah, he’s a pretty good guy.” they say and then take a look at you and asks for your name and introduces themselves.
“Anyways, I can definitely see you two together.” he says.
“Not interested, Paul.” you say as you look about.
“You don’t even know what the guy look like.” Paul says with a smile.
“I’m sure he’s nothing I’ve seen before.” you smoothly replied with and place the package on the counter.
Paul pressed the buttons on the controller as Embry is focused on the tv.
“I’m telling you there’s fish in the sea. Met a girl and she’s right up your alley.” Paul says.
Embry moves his character on the screen and says, “Is that so?” he boredly asks.
“Come on, don’t be like that. She was cute.” Paul says.
Embry sighs without interest, “You think every girl is cute.”
“Not true.” Paul says and with that, defeats Embry’s character.
You pushed your cart through the store as you let your eyes look for the thing that you needed. Opening the large freezer door, you reach with your fingertips to capture the cold beverage but it was too high.
You go to stand on your tippy toes until a hand plucks it from the spot before your eyes.
You smile at them and reply with, “Thanks.”
“No problem. Ugh, not you too!” they say as they look at the label.
The humor in the exclaim makes you laugh, “What? You don’t like this one?” you ask.
“It’s overrated.” They reply and you ask him, “Alright then. What’s your favorite…?” you ask and he fills in the blank.
“Jared. And I like…this one.” he replies and picks up his claim.
You both walk out of the store as you held your bag in one hand. You press your drink to Jared’s bottle and he says, “Cheers.” You both take a sip.
“You said you too. Who’s the other person who likes this.” you ask.
“Just a friend of mine…You both act similar, that’s so funny.” he says.
“Really?” you say. He nods.
“I have to get you guys to meet someday.” he says. You pay this no mind.
You finally meet up with Embry as he takes the half drunken bottle from your fingers. He greets you with a kiss and then looks at the flavored beverage.
“Can I have the rest of this?” he asks you.
“Of course.” you reply and grab his hand as he downs the drink.
You watch the two figures figure out the game. The wind blew softly and coldly, but it still felt good. Sitting on the rock, you were waiting for Embry.
The ball flew over to you and luckily you were paying attention, you catch it.
“Sorry! Nice catch!” The voice says. You smile and tell them thanks.
“Come on, play with me.” they say with a smile .
“I don’t play with strangers.” you say. They tell you their name.
“Seth, you’re not beating me.” you tell him with a wicked smile as you get up to join his game.
“I did beat someone older than me before. You should meet him.” he says.
“Ha. Ha.” you say dryly.
Seth laughs, “Yeah, you two would get along great.”
The game was very friendly with a touch of competitiveness.
“Don’t be a sore loser.” you say while smiling.
“Oh, hush.” Seth says in a playful tone, before glancing at his phone.
“Shoot, gotta go. You come here to this beach a lot?” he asks you. You nod.
“Later!” he says and jets off. His mother wants him home for dinner.
Embry brushed up the broken light bulb glass. He throws the debris and the rest of it into the trash can.
“I’ll be back. I’ll just grab one from the hardware store.” you tell him.
“Alright.” he replies.
Your eyes search for them, but you don’t see them. You then take your eyes to look for a cashier or a store worker.
A tall man is in your view and you decide to ask him since he was looking at something complicated.
“Hi, do you know where they keep the lightbulbs? I don’t see any workers around.” you say.
“They’re all chatting in the back.” he says with a chuckle and you join in, “They’re right over there.” he directs and you thank him.
You both check out at the same time.
“What is that for?” you ask him of his item he bought.
“It’s for a furnace.” he answers back.
“Nice. And here I’m replacing a broken light bulb.” you say and he chuckles.
“I remember when I had one.” he says as he remembers.
“Oh, yeah? What happened?” you ask as you both join the counter.
He tells you the story of his friend who swung his long arms too hard while dancing and it shattered at his feet. You both share laughs.
“Do you have parties often?” you ask as you both walk out.
“They’re not parties, really. Just get togethers. You should come. I can introduce you to someone you would like.” he says.
“I could use some friends.” you say with a smile. You emphasize the word friends. You were interested in getting to know someone when Embry was the one who made you the most happiest person in world.

Begin Again
Summary: Ever since Bella came back to Forks things between y/n and her boys have been different. Embry and Quil stopped answering phone calls and texts, they’ve even been avoiding her everytime she shows up at their house. So y/n does the only thing she can think to do, she latches onto Jacob just like Bella, and when he starts acting like Embry and Quil did, she makes the decision to not put so much effort into a friendship that is clearly one sided. But what happens one day when Sam’s pack is in town at the same time as y/n and her new friends and two certain boys imprint on their former best friend? And what happens when a former best friend doesn’t feel the same way?
Author’s Note: Hello to everyone that is reading this! This is my first ever time writing a fanfic, so (if you’re reading this) go easy on me. I would love to hear any feedback anyone might have in the comments. Super excited to be writing this Twilight fic, I’ve been inspired by others authors on here to take my own spin with Stephaine Myers characters, none of which I have any ownership to. This doesn’t really follow the Eclipse movie timeline, I'm making things up and stretching the timeline. So this is basically my own story just using Stephanie’s characters and some of her themes. There are also some other characters in here that I don’t have any rights to, I just thought it would be fun to put them in this story. I don’t know how long or short this is going to be, I might be able to get my ideas across quickly or this might turn into a few chapters. If you’ve read this far I love you and I really hope you like this!
(Also not beta read cause I can’t afford that)(Dividers from @enchanthings here on Tumblr)

Chapter 1 | Master list | Chapter 2
Things had been weird lately, with Bella back in Forks, the Cullens, and your friends on the reservation. It seemed like everyday more and more of your friends were leaving to go hang out with Sam Uley and his pack of assholes. Now it was just down to you, Embry, Quil, and Jacob. It’s not like you’re not fine with that, Embry and Quil were your best friends ever. So you were fine with just the four of you hanging out all the time. But they got so hostile of you whenever Edward or one of his siblings came around to talk to you or Bella.
It was getting absolutely exhausting trying to mediate things between them. You didn’t want to have to choose between your boys or Bella, but if it came down to it, your choice would always be your family and by extension, the Cullens. Although it seemed like you wouldn’t be getting a choice anyways when Embry and Quil stopped answering your texts and calls. They were never home when you came to visit and see what was happening to them. You had even tried asking Jacob if he knew anything but he swore up and down that he had no idea.
You never expected to see them hanging out with Sam and his pack, jumping off that stupid cliff. You had never felt more betrayed. They could do whatever they wanted to but it hurt that they felt the need to drop you, without any kind of explanation and go hang out with the few people (at least you thought) you mutually disliked. It was obvious that they weren’t going to talk to you anymore so you did the only thing you could think of, you left them one last voicemail in hopes to get through to them.
“Hey, it’s me. Um, I know we haven’t talked in a while, but I still miss you guys. I saw you the other day, hanging out with Sam and his boys. It’s fine, I guess. I just thought that we were better friends than that. I mean, we’ve been inseparable since we were 6 but that’s not really the point of why I called.” You took a deep breath, trying to stop yourself from rambling some more. “I don’t really understand why you started hanging out with Sam but you have free will so I can’t stop you. But I miss you guys, and I still want to be friends. I don’t want to permanently lose you both because I can’t get over this petty dislike I have. So, call me back. Please. I want to talk about everything, but if you truly want nothing to do with me anymore then I won’t bother you again. This is goodbye, then.”
2 months later
Life wasn’t the easiest thing anymore. The boys never called you back, which you expected but it still stung. You still had Jacob, but it wasn’t the same. Jacob knew how much Embry and Quil’s choice had affected you, but there wasn’t much he could do to help you. He couldn’t just tell you that they were werewolves. So he did his best to try and raise your spirits. You were wholeheartedly grateful you had him during this time.
Bella wasn’t much help either, she had just been broken up with and she was rotting away in her room. It appeared as though life was hating the Swan girls right now. As much as you wanted to wallow in your own pity you knew you had to be there for Bella. It’s not like the kids from school were going to help her, and honestly Bella wouldn’t want them to. So you spent months trying to help Bella, you didn’t want to lose your sister too.
“Please, Bells. Just talk to me, tell me what’s going on in your head. I’ll do anything to help you, you just have to tell me. Tell me what I can do for you, I want to take all this pain away. I know this isn’t about me or dad but we’re so scared for you Bells. We love you so much.” You plead with her. Tears welled up in your eyes when she turned away from you and went back to looking out of her window. You walked out of her room before she could see or hear you start to cry.
“Whoa, slow down there kid. What’s happening?” Charlie stopped you in the hallway. His hands gripped your shoulders as they shook with silent sobs.
“I can’t watch her wither away like that dad. She’s changing so much, and I don’t know how to help her. I hate Edward for what he’s putting her through and he’s not even here.” You spoke through your tears. Hiccuping in between every breath you took.
“Y/n,” Charlie whispered, cupping your cheeks and making you look up at him, “We will get her through all of this okay kid? You and me will bring our Bella back. I know it.” He assured you as genuinely as he could. Truth be told, he had no idea if he would be able to get his daughters back to the girls they were before all this happened. He was grateful that you seemed to be okay so soon after the Embry and Quil situation. He didn’t know what he would do if both of his kids were nervous wrecks he couldn’t console.
You nodded at him instead of answering back. You knew he was just trying to make you feel better. As much as you wanted to stay and keep trying with Bella you had to go to school. You couldn’t miss any more days this week or you would fall too far behind.
After getting dressed you head downstairs where you say goodbye to your dad and meet Jacob who’s waiting for you outside. Lately he has taken to riding with you to school and then walking back to the reservation afterwards so you weren’t alone in the mornings. It was also a way for him to keep an eye on you and Bella.
“You know, you don’t have to keep doing this Jake, I’m perfectly okay with getting to school by myself.” You told him today. It has been on your mind for a little while now.
“I know,” he chuckles, “but I like to. Sometimes I don’t want to be alone in the morning so I make you suffer and force my presence on you. You’re going to have to get used to it.” Jacob simply shrugged.
You get quiet after that and it worries him, but before he can ask you what’s wrong you beat him to it
“If you ever want to be friends with Sam and everyone else, please don’t cut me off too. I don’t think I could handle that.” Your hands grip the steering wheel tighter as you pull up to a red light. You can’t bring yourself to look over at him, as you not so patiently wait for his answer.
“Y/n/n, I will never abandon you to be friends with Sam and his pack of douchebags. Okay? It's you and me against the world now.” He says in such a loving tone that it brings tears to your eyes for the second time that day. “Oh god, please don’t cry. I totally didn’t mean for that to happen.”
Watching him panic while he tries to get you to stop crying does the trick, and you start to giggle at him. The rest of the drive to your school is silent with the occasional sing along moment to whatever is playing on the radio. When you finally arrive at school you're in a much better mood.
You say goodbye to Jacob and head into the building, putting on your headphones and turning the volume all the way up. Someone knocks into you from the side sending your phone and headphones sliding across the floor.
“Oh my god. I’m so freaking sorry!” Apologizes spill from the mystery boy's mouth as his friend, the one who pushed him into you, hurries to gather your things. He turns around to his friend on the floor and hisses out “Dude. What the hell??”
It wasn’t surprising that you had to clue who these boys were. When you were friends with Embry and Quil you didn't really talk to the people you go to school with. “It’s fine.” You shrugged it off, not wanting to create a problem with these two.
“No, its not fine. I totally didn't mean to smash into you. Scott’s just an asshole.” The boy throws his friend, Scott, under the bus. “I’m Stiles by the way.”
“I didn't mean to push him into you miss, I didn't even see you there.” Scott pipes in, before quickly realizing what he said. “OH! I didn't mean I didn't see you at all, like you're just hard to see. Cause you’re not hard to miss. Not that you're always in the way! I've never seen you before so… I'm going to stop talking now.” Scott sheepishly tugs at the collar of his shirt. He seems to be sweating now. The incredulous look on your face seems to shut him up well enough for his friend, Stiles, to get a word in.
“Wow dude, that was bad.” He’s trying to hold back his laughter now. “I think what he's trying to say is that he was so preoccupied with being an asshat that he wasn't paying attention to our surroundings.” Stiles says it a lot more eloquently than Scott had and it makes you giggle.
They both stare at you like you've grown a second head. “That was the worst apology I have ever heard in my entire life.” You state after getting ahold of your laughter. “I’m y/n. I accept your terrible apology, and it's okay that you haven't seen me around before, because to be honest. I've never seen either of you around before either.”
They let out a breath of relief and apologize one more time, sounding more coherent and sincere this go around. Scott proceeds to ask you what you have for the first period and surprisingly you have the same class as them, so you all walk to your class talking and getting to know each other. When you get to class you part ways to your seats with plans to meet after class.
Your class schedules were pretty similar, especially yours and Stiles. In the classes you and Stiles shared you decided to move seats and sit next to each other, getting in trouble a few times for talking too much. You were getting along with him so well that he invited you to sit with him and his friends at lunch. And since you didn't have any other plans you took him up on his offer.
When lunch time rolls around Stiles follows you to your locker where you get your food before heading to the cafeteria to meet up with his friends. The table quiets down when the two of you approach. “Y/n these are my friends: Lydia, Allison, Issac, Liam, Malia, Kira, and you've already met Scott.” One by one his friends say hello and introduce themselves to you. This wasn’t at all how you thought it was going to go. You assumed that they would only give you a cursory hi and go back to their conversations, but they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know you.

a/n: kinda hate this, but it's been ages since I've posted, and this has been sitting in my drafts for a while.
• ──────────────☾────────────── •
One week. I've been in Forks for one week and I've already been roped into attending some kind of late-night social gathering at a beach in La Push by a group of friends I met while working at the local grocery store in town. That would probably be exciting for most people, especially if they're new in town and know absolutely no one, but I don't see it that way. I would much rather be hiding away in my room, curled up under my weighted blanket with a good book and a hot cup of tea, not freezing my ass off at a bonfire on the beach surrounded by strangers. Despite it being late August and technically still summer, the nights are significantly cooler than the days, which aren't very hot themselves. Thankfully it's not raining out. I would have turned down the offer to come had it been anyone other than the sweet, kind-hearted Angela who'd asked. But since I didn't, I'm stuck listening to the annoying, air-headed Mike Newton go on an over-exaggerated tangent about the time got caught sleeping in his math class in high school and received detention for it.
As I try my best to be attentive, I can't help but let my eyes drift around the large group of people that surround the area. It was only supposed to be a small gathering, and that's how it started out, but as it gets later, more and more people show up. I sigh, continuing to scan the crowd until my eyes land on a small group of guys standing nearby. Just by their appearance, I know who they are. Jessica made sure to inform me prior to arriving about the "weird" reservation kids who act like they run the area and would probably show up to stand watch like guard dogs. She and her friends had a lot to say about the four guys, none of it being particularly nice. I don't see the problem, though, because they have kept to themselves the whole time. They speak when spoken to, but other than that, they keep conversation amongst themselves. I find myself intrigued by the reserved strangers.
My gaze lingers a little too long because one of them looks up and our eyes lock. Instantly, a shiver runs down my spine, a sudden rush of warmth replacing the coldness I'm feeling. Something about him draws me in and pulls me towards him, yet I can't find the will to move. He's beautiful, in a boyish kind of way, wearing khaki shorts and a black cut-off T-shirt despite the chilled weather. He's the one to break the impromptu staring contest when one of his friends nudges his side and steals his attention. I'm a little disappointed when his rich brown eyes look away. I watch for a little longer as they share a few hushed words before all of their eyes shift to me. The extra attention forces me to finally divert mine away.
"Hey," I lean closer to speak to Angela, "I'll be back. I'm gonna take a walk down the beach."
"Okay." She nods, "Do you want me to walk with you?"
"No, it's okay. I won't be gone long."
I walk along the shore, kicking rocks until I get far enough away that the loud music and shouting sound like a soft murmur in the distance. I find a washed-up log and sit down, watching the waves crash against the shore before retreating. It's quiet and peaceful. I could probably fall asleep sitting here. The sound of a stick snapping behind me ruins that thought. Turning my head away from the water and towards the forest, I come face-to-face with the handsome boy.
"You shouldn't be wandering around out here by yourself. It's not safe." He speaks as he takes a hesitant step closer to me.
"I could say the same to you."
"Why did you leave your friends?" He asks, coming to take a seat on the log next to me, making sure to leave a little space between us.
"They are hardly my friends." I laugh dryly, staring back out at the water. "I didn't even want to come."
"Then why did you?" I shrug in response, not really having a reasonable answer to give. "I could give you a ride home if you want."
"I don't even know you." I chuckle. "Didn't you just lecture me about it not being safe to wander off out here alone, and now you're offering me a ride home. Talk about stranger danger. This is literally the plot and premise of every teen slasher film."
"It was hardly a lecture. More of a piece of valuable advice." He smiles, offering his hand to shake. "I'm Embry Call."
"Y/N Y/L/N." I reply, grabbing his hand. It's unbelievably warm yet comforting.
"Now we're not strangers. Want to take me up on my offer now?" He asks. "If not, you could always go back and ask that Newton kid to tell you another story to help pass the time."
"I would rather step on a Lego than listen to another one of his stories." I scoff. "But I should let Angela know I'm leaving first."
"Let's go then." He chuckles and stands up, waiting for me to rise to my feet before leading me back to the bonfire.

The drive to my house seems to go by quickly. We make small talk here and there until the conversations eventually fizzle out completely and we fall into a comfortable silence. There's a weird tension that lingers in the air. Not a bad weird, just different. I want to know more about him but he's a little closed off. When we speak, it seems like he wants to let me in, he wants to talk to me, but something is stopping him from getting too deep. Despite that, he makes me feel at ease.
"We're here." he speaks softly, pulling me from my thoughts.
"Oh, okay. Thanks for the ride." I reply, attempting to hide my disappointment with a smile. "And for not killing me." I tack on a joke for further convincing.
"No problem." He laughs as he opens his door to get out. He comes around to my side and opens my door for me, grabbing my hand gently to help me out of the truck. "I'll wait here until you get inside."
"Okay," I nod. "Will I see you around?"
"Maybe." He shrugs.
"Goodnight, Embry."
"Goodnight, Y/N." The way my name rolls off his tongue so soft and smooth sends a gentle shiver running through me. Every thought in my brain vanishes and it's only the sound of his voice playing over and over again like a broken record.
By the time I make it up to my room, I'm smiling hard and surely sporting flushed cheeks. I look out my window to check, and there he is, still waiting like he said. I wave down at him once we make eye contact. He smiles and waves back before climbing into the truck and reversing out of the driveway.
I go about my usual nightly routine before finally settling into bed. The smile that this mysterious boy has somehow managed to plant on my face has yet to disappear. I think back over our interactions throughout the night, and although they had been small and more than likely meaningless to him, they had me giggling and kicking my feet like a little schoolgirl. Figuratively, of course. Once I manage to calm myself down, I close my eyes and begin to drift off to sleep, whispering a quick prayer that tonight was only the first and not the last time I would be seeing the handsome stranger.
• ───────────────────────────── •
"That movie was awful." I scoff, walking with the rest of the group out of the theater.
"I thought it was awesome!" Mike exclaims.
"How? There was an unnecessary amount of blood and gore that did absolutely nothing for the plot, and the graphics were horrible."
"Woah there! Didn't know we had a professional movie critic on our hands." Mike jokes, receiving laughter from the rest of the group.
I roll my eyes as they begin gushing and raving about the action movie as we walk down the street. I fall back behind the group a bit, putting a little distance between me and them, but not too much that it's noticeable. Not that I think they would notice anyway. Despite having hung out with them numerous times since the bonfire two weeks ago, my friendship with them hasn't progressed at all. I just don't feel much of a connection with any of them, other than Angela.
"Hey, Y/N!" A call of my name pulls me out of my thoughts. I look up at Angela and her friends to find the source, only to see them looking back at me, confusion written on all of their faces. "Hey!" The masculine voice calls again from behind me, a little closer this time. I turn around this time, coming face-to-face with one of the guys from the bonfire, Embry and a couple of others not far behind.
"Do I know you?" I ask.
"No, but I know you. I'm Jared Cameron." He offers me his hand to shake.
"Y/N Y/L/N." I shake his outstretched hand. The next one to introduce himself has short, curly hair and a boyish grin on his face.
"Quil Ateara. The fifth, but the greatest." He chuckles, shaking my hand. The last one steps up wearing a smug expression as he introduces himself.
"Paul Lahote." He smirks, grabbing my hand and bringing it up to his lips. However, before he can make contact with my skin, he is stopped by Embry's stern voice.
"Enough, Paul." He orders to the snickering man.
"Hi, Embry." I redirect my attention to the boy who stands a few steps behind the others.
"Hey." He replies, our gazes locking briefly before he looks away.
"We're heading to a little restaurant down the street," Jared explains. "Wanna join?"
"Oh uh-" As I try to find the words to respond to his spontaneous offer, I'm interrupted by the voice of a female, that I have come to realize I am not the biggest fan of.
"Hey, Y/N. Who are your friends?" She asks, leaving me no time to respond before turning to introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Jessica Stanley." A chorus of 'hey's and 'hello's come from the group in response.
"We're heading home if you're ready." She directs her attention to me this time.
"Okay."
"We were actually offering her to join us for dinner," Quil states, presenting the offer Jared had extended to me just a few moments ago. "If she hasn't eaten yet."
"That's so kind of you." Jessica speaks with fake enthusiasm.
"Will you?" Jared questions, eyes trained on mine.
"Sure." I nod, turning to the group I had come with. "If that's okay with all of you."
"Go ahead." Angela is the one to step up and speak, a small but noticeable smile on her face. "Text me when you get home?"
A simple nod is all she needs before she grabs Jessica's hand and guides her back over to their group.
"Let's go," Paul speaks, throwing his arm over my shoulder as if we've known each other for years, and begins to lead me away. "I'm starving."
The restaurant we end up at is a cute, family-owned Italian place. It's cozy and welcoming, much like the rowdy group of boys who invited me to it.
"You have got to try the pizza," Quil leans in from his chair beside me to show me the options on the menu. "It's amazing."
"You think so?" I ask, amused by his never-ending enthusiasm.
"I know so." He winks, flashing me a toothy grin.
"The chicken alfredo is also really good." Jared adds from his seat on the other side of the table. I take their suggestions into consideration as I browse the menu.
"Everything looks and sounds delicious," I say, a sigh of defeat passing through my lips. "I don't know what to choose."
"We could order a couple plates of pasta and a few large pizzas to share. The portions are pretty big." Jared suggests.
"That's fine with me." I nod. "I'm still kind of full from the popcorn I ate at the theater so I won't be able to finish a full meal by myself."
"Don't you worry your pretty little head," Quil taps the tip of my nose with his index finger, forcing a giggle out of me at his antics. "Whatever you don't eat, I can gladly finish for you."
"Sounds like a plan then." I smile.
Once we finalize our decisions and put in our orders, we fall into easy conversation. A majority of it is Jared, Quil, and Paul bickering about random stuff or asking me questions. Despite their endless chatter, I can't help but let my mind linger on the quiet male sitting directly to my left. Before I can gather the courage to talk to Embry, Paul grabs my attention.
"How come you hang out with that Newton kid and his friends if you can't stand them?"
"Huh?" His question throws me off a bit.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but you didn't seem too thrilled when we saw you outside of the theater." He elaborates. "And you looked a little annoyed when that Jennifer girl butt in to our conversation."
"You mean Jessica?" I chuckle as I correct him.
"Yeah, her." He nods.
"I wouldn't say that I dislike them, necessarily." I shrug. "I just don't click with them well, I guess. Angela is cool, and Eric isn't too bad, but the others are just so...I don't know. Jessica has to always be the center of attention, and Mike is overly flirtatious and too handsy for me."
"Handsy?" Embry questions, addressing me for the first time since out intial greeting outside of the theater. "Has he touched you?"
"It's nothing bad," I assure him. "It's just little things like trying to hold my hand or mess with my hair. Just weirds me out a bit."
"He still shouldn't be trying to touch you without your permission." He grumbles. "Someone needs to put him in his place."
"It's fine." I shrug. "He's harmless, just doesn't understand boundaries." Before he can say anything else, the food arrives.
"Is there anything else I can get for you?" The waitress asks after placing all of the food on the table. A chorus of "no's" and "no thank you's" float around the table. "Okay. Just call for me if you need me." As soon as she walks away, we all dig in.
"I am stuffed!" I exclaim after taking the last bite of pasta on my plate. There's still half a dish of pasta and a full pizza left on the table, but at the rate that the boys are eating, I'm positive it will be gone soon.
"You humans and your small appetites." Quil laughs around a mouth full of pizza. His comment earns him a harsh glare from the others.
"Humans?" I laugh at his strange words. "What are you, then? A dog." The table falls quiet as the four share a look before breaking out into nervous laughter. Ignoring their weird response, I change the subject.
"So, what is school like on the reservation?" I ask.
"Boring," Jared replies. "And a lot smaller than public schools."
"What do you do for fun?"
"We spend a lot of time hanging out with our friend Sam and his fiancee, Emily, at their place. It's our home away from home." He answers.
"Or going cliff jumping." Paul adds.
"Cliff jumping?" My eyes widen as I repeat the words back to him. "Is that even safe?"
"No, but it's fun as hell." Quil chuckles. "Gives you a huge adrenaline rush. You should come with us and give it a try some time."
"Absolutely not." Embry interjects, shutting down his suggestion before I can answer for myself. "She could get seriously injured, if she doesn't die from it."
"She'll be fine." Paul jumps in. "Jacob's little leech lover did it and survived."
"Barely." Embry scoffed. "Jacob had to pull her out and perform mouth-to-mouth on her."
"Well, it's a good thing she will be with us then." Paul responds cheekily. "What do you say, Y/N? I don't mind providing a little mouth-to-mouth if necessary."
"I'll pass."
"You should come hang out on the rez, then? At Sam and Emily's place." Jared suggests.
"I don't know." I shake my head. "I don't want to intrude. You seem like a really tight-knit group."
"It's fine." He waves me off. "You'll fit right in." A smug look flickers across his face, as if he knows something that I don't.
"Maybe, but not tonight. I need to get home soon."
"Of course." Jared nods. "Let's pay the bill and then we can head out."
• ───────────────────────────── •
"Are you sure this is okay? They won't mind that I'm here?" I ask Quil as we make our way up the drive way toward Sam and Emily's house.
"Of course not." He gives me a reassuring smile. "We've told them all about you, and they are excited to meet you. Emily's happy to have another female to hang out with. Something about there being too much testosterone around here." He rolls his eyes laughing. "Word of advice though. Don't stare at Emily's face. It pisses Sam off."
"Noted." I nod as we walk up the steps.
"Honey, I'm home!" Quil shouts into the house as he throws the door open.
"Please leave." Paul deadpans.
"Hi! You must be Y/N." A woman greets warmly as she makes her way across the kitchen, making sure to smack Paul in the back of the head and telling him to be nice. "I'm Emily Young." She introduces herself as she pull me into a hug.
"Yes, I am." I nod smiling, reciprocating her hug. "Nice to meet you."
"I'm Sam Uley." A man steps up next to her, greeting me as he does. "That's Seth and Leah Clearwater," He gestures to two other unfamiliar faces sitting at the kitchen table. "And you know the rest of the hooligans."
"Hooligans?" Jared scoffs. "I'll have you know that I am a very distinguished young man." He says as he adjusts his invisible tie.
"Yeah, maybe compared to a caveman." Paul retorts, causing Jared to retaliate by intiating a wrestling match in the small kitchen.
"Enough, you two." Sam barks, trying and failing to hide his amusement at their antics.
"Come sit." Emily turns to me, gently ushering me to the only empty chair at the table, which happens to be right next to Embry.
"Hey," He greets in a quiet whisper as I take a seat.
"Hey."
"Are you okay?" He questions, a look of concern on his features.
"Yeah," I nod. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"You just seem a little tense." He answers. "And they can be a lot sometimes, even for someone like me who has spent years dealing with them."
"I'm okay," I assure him with a smile. He simply nods before turning to finish his lunch as Emily sets a plate down in front of me.
"I'm not sure if you've eaten already but I saved a plate for you." She explains. "Food doesn't last long around here with all of these men so I made sure to put some aside when I heard you were coming."
"I'm starving, actually. I haven't eaten yet today." I reply. "Thank you!"
"You haven't eaten? Like, at all?" The boy named Seth asks from his spot opposite of me.
"No." I shake my head. "I was up late last night writing a paper for my English class and started working on it again as soon as I woke up. I guess I got a little too carried away and forgot to eat anything. But hey! At least I finished my paper. Four days early at that."
"You should still make sure you're eating properly though." Embry states.
"Of course." I nod in agreement. "It's a bad habit I've been trying to kick for years. Once I get locked in on something, it's hard to step away. My mom has lectured me, like, a million times about it."
"So it happens often, is what I'm hearing." Emily steps in, her mom voice making an appearance."
"More often then it should." I respond sheepishly.
"That settles it then." She shakes her head in disbelief. "I'm now making it my personal duty to make sure you are eating three full meals a day. Can't have you getting sick on us."
"You don't have to do that." I argue.
"I know I don't have to, but we take care of our own around here. I know you're new to the group, but I already consider you one of us." She explains, her tone leaving no room fro argument.
"Okay." A blush warms my cheeks as I finally begin to dig into my food.
"Embry." Sam calls his name from where he stands by the kitchen door. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"
He responds with a nod before rising from his chair and following Sam outside. They are standing on the porch right outside the door, speaking in hushed whispers. As the conversation goes on, Embry seems to grow increasingly frustrated or angry, I assume by the expressions on his face. A few more words are shared between the two before Embry stomps off the porch and Sam returns to the kitchen, letting out a heavy sigh as he enters. The others give him a questioning look, but all he does is shake his head in response.
"What are you doing tonight?" He asks, coming to sit at the table next to Emily.
"Nothing really." I shrug. "Planned on just hanging out at home and reading a book."
"Lame!" Quil and Jared shout simultaneously.
"I'm hosting a bonfire tonight if you would like to join."
"Please do!" Emily almost begs. "You can meet the other girls as well. Kim and Rachel, Jared's and Paul's girlfriends."
"Sure," I nod. "Why not?"
"Perfect!" She smiles. "Would you like to run into town with me? I need to grab some groceries for the barbeque."
"Of course. I don't have anything else to do."
"Let me go grab my purse."
• ───────────────────────────── •
"Hey, Emily. Can I ask you something?" I ask as we walk down another aisle to grab the things she needs.
"Ask away."
"Does Embry not like me or something?" I question. "Like, did I do something wrong? Or offend him in some way?"
"Of course not." She shakes her head at my words. "Why would you think that?"
"I don't know." I shrug, nervously fidgeting with the loose threads on my sweater. "He just seems closed off when I'm around. I just thought maybe it was something I did."
"That's just Embry." She reassures me. "He's always been more of an introvert compared to the other guys."
"You sure?"
"I'm positive." She stops walking and turns to face me. "Don't read too much into it. Just give him time. He'll come around." I nod in response, choosing to trust her words and expel those negative thoughts from my head. "Now come on, we only have a few more things to grab and I'm afraid those bozos might destroy the house if they are left alone too long." She giggles as she begins walking again, me following close behind.
When we return to the house, the guys are horsing around outside, as Emily and I head to the kitchen to put everything away. Once all of the groceries are in their rightful place, she begins to prep what will be needed for dinner.
"Is there anything I can help with?"
"No, I got it, but thanks." She politely declines. "Why don't you head outside. Or you can hang out in the living room and watch some TV. Whatever you want to do."
"You sure?"
"Yep."
I begin to make my way towards the door to go outside when I notice Embry sitting on the couch by himself. I hesitate briefly before making up my mind and stepping towards the living room instead.
"Hi, Embry." I speak softly, as not to startle him.
"Hey, Y/N." He greets, glancing at me over his shoulder and then turning his attention back towards the TV.
"What're watching?"
"Nothing, really. Just flipping through channels to see if anything good is on. So far, I've found nothing." He shrugs.
"Do you mind if I join you?"
"No, I don't mind." He scoots over to make room on the couch. We fall into a tense silence as he continues to flip through channels before he finally settles on a true crime show.
"Are you excited for the bonfire?" He asks, finally breaking the silence and turning his head to look at me, our gazes interlocking.
"Yeah, actually. I am." I reply, smiling. This is the first time we've had an actual conversation together since the one we had on the night we met and I can't help but feel giddy about it.
"Good." He nods, he lifts one of his hands to tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "You look beautiful, by the way."
"Oh, uh, thank you." I can feel my cheeks heat up instantly. "You do, too. Look handsome, I mean. Not beautiful. Not that you aren't beautiful, I just-" I blush harder as I stumble over my words.
"Thank you." He interrupts, chuckling softly.
Our conversation dies out as we stare into each other's eyes. However, the silence this time is much more comfortable. Without realizing it, we had begun to lean into each other. So close that our noses are almost touching.
"Can I-" Embry begins to speak but is cut off as Sam's voice carries through from the kitchen.
"Embry, come out. I need your help gathering the fire wood."
"Okay, be right there." He replies, backing away. "I'll talk to you in a bit, okay?"
"Okay. Yeah." I nod, another blush dusting my cheeks as I start to think about what would have happened if Sam hadn't come in.
Embry then gets up from his spot beside me, leaving me with a soft smile and following Sam out the door.
• ───────────────────────────── •
The bonfire burns brightly, providing some warmth against the chilly night air. I sit with the other girls, talking and laughing as the guys kick around a soccer ball off to the side. Just like Emily, Kim and Rachel are kind and inviting, making it easy to fall into comfortable conversation. Even Leah, despite her quiet nature.
"So, you and Embry, huh?" Rachel nudges my side gently with her elbow, wiggling her eyebrow suggestively.
"What about me and Embry?" I ask confused.
"Are y'all, like, a thing?" Kim is the one to ask the question.
"Oh, no. Definitely not." I shake my head, laughing at the incredulousness of the idea. "If you haven't noticed, he barely speaks to me."
"Which is kind of crazy to me because the guy can barely keep his eyes off of you." Rachel says.
"Right!" Kim exclaims. "Glad I'm not the only one who noticed."
"You're seeing things." I argue.
"But you like him though, don't you?" Leah asks.
"Would you think I'm crazy if I said yes?" I bite my lip nervously. "He. doesn't even give me the time if day. Today was the first time we've held a conversation that was longer than three words since the night we met, but I can't help but be drawn to him. Like some kind of invisible string is keeping me tied to him. I sound weird and obsessive, don't I?" I sigh, feeling embarrassed at my admission.
"Not at all." Emily smiles, providing me with some comfort. "Like I said earlier, just give him a little time."
"You should-" Before Rachel can finish what she is going to say, they sound of men arguing grabs all of our attention.
"I said back off, Paul!" Embry shouts angrily at his friend.
Paul laughs menacingly. "Oh yeah? Or what?"
Embry lets out what I can only describe as a deep growl as his body begins to shake in anger.
"Careful there, Call." He says mockingly. "Don't want to lose your cool in front of your girlfriend." Those words seem to be the final trigger, because on my next breath, Embry's clothes shred to pieces as he turns into a giant wolf.
All of the air leaves my lungs as the scene unfolds. Paul is next, shifting into a massive beast in the blink of an eye, right as Embry lunges for him. The two begin to fight, large jaws snapping at each other as they roll on the ground.
"What the actual fuck?" I whisper as I finally catch my breath.
"Leah, Emily." Sam calls. "Get her inside." As soon as the words leave his mouth, a black wolf, larger than the other two, takes the place where his once human form stood. The others soon follow, beginning to chase after the two who have now managed to tumble into the forest.
"Can someone please explain to me what the hell just happened?" I gasp out as we make our way into the living room.
"It's not really our place to say, but Sam can as soon as he gets back." Emily places a comforting yet firm hand on my shoulder, forcing me to take a seat on the couch.
"They're not gonna kill each other, are they?" The horrifying thought leaves my lips before I can stop it.
"No," Rachel shakes her head. "They'll be fine. This actually happens quite often."
"That doesn't make me feel any better." I look at her as if she is insane."
"Sam will calm them down, and then they will all return safely. Not scratch or bruise in sight." Kim explains. I nod, taking a deep breath.
"So they're werewolves?"
"We prefer the term 'Shifter'." Leah states.
"Can all of you do that?"
"Nope. Just me and the guys."
"You're the only female that can turn into a wolf?"
"The only one known." She nods.
"Okay." I nod, trying to process the new found information. "Wow! This is a lot to take in."
"You're handling it pretty well, though." Kim giggles. "I half expected you to run off screaming."
We sit waiting for about ten minutes, them answering the questions they are allowed to answer, before the door swings open. Jared, Quil, and Seth walk into the house, Sam, Paul, and Embry moments after.
"Sorry about that, Y/N." Paul laughs as he throws himself down on the floor in front of where Rachel sits.
"No problem." I respond before turning my attention towards Sam.
"I'm sure you have a few questions."
"That's the understatement of the century." Sam chuckles at my response as he begins to explain everything. Their history, abilities, what causes the first shift, what triggers every shift after, how they control it. He goes on for what feels like half an hour until he feels that he has covered everything.
"Now that that is out of the way, there is one more thing you must know, but it's best if you and Embry discuss that privately."
"Um...okay?" I turn to look at Embry, who is still standing next to the door.
"Can I give you a ride home?" He asks. "I'll explain on the way there."
"Sure." I nod, standing from the couch. "Thanks for inviting me. Despite all of the chaos, I really enjoyed spending time with you all."
"Of course, Y/N." Sam smiles gently. "You're welcome any time."
• ───────────────────────────── •
The first ten minutes of the twenty-minute drive pass in silence. Neither of us willing to break it, but eventually I speak, not being able to stand the tension anymore.
"Embry?" I call his name softly, my voice coming out as almost a whisper. "There was something you wanted to tell me."
"'Want' isn't exactly the word I would use, but I don't really have a choice." He sighs heavily. "For starters, I want to apologize. I didn't want to drag you into this. I tried to keep my distance, but my friends were hellbent on playing matchmakers. If it had been up to me, tonight wouldn't have ever happened."
"Oh." His words trigger an ache in my chest.
"It's not that there is anything wrong with you. You're great, actually. It's just that I didn't want to bring you into my world because it's too dangerous for you."
"Dangerous? How? What does any of this have to do with me?"
"That leads to my next point. There is this thing that us Shifters do. It's called imprinting." He explains as he slows the car down before pulling over to the side of the road and putting the car in park.
"Imprinting?" I ask as he turns to me, eyes locking onto mine.
"Yeah. In looser terms, it's kind of like finding our soulmate. The one person we are destined to be with. When we find our imprint, they instantly become the one thing in this world that we would do anything for. We will become anything they want or need us to be. A protector, a friend, a lover. They become the center of our whole world. The gravity that holds us to the Earth. Everything and everyone in our lives suddenly comes second to them."
"Are you saying that-"
"Yes," He nods, responding before I can finish my sentence as if he had read my mind. "That night we first met, on the beach in La Push, I imprinted on you. It's not something we can control, it just happens. We don't choose who we imprint on. The moment I looked into your eyes, my fate was sealed."
"Is that why you avoided me? Did you want it to be someone else?"
"No." He shakes his head. "I was avoiding you because bringing you into all of this is dangerous. There are other supernatural beings that exist, and just you breathing puts you in danger because of the connection we have."
"Other supernatural beings? Like what?"
"Vampires. Those are our biggest enemies and what triggered out phases."
"Vampires," I mutter his words back to him in disbelief. "Here in Forks?" He nods in response.
"So if you don't have control over the bond, what would happen if I didn't want it?" I question. "Not saying that I don't, just asking." I quickly explain.
"You could reject it, but it wouldn't be easy. For either of us. The longer we spend apart, the more it will begin to hurt. Not just emotionally but physically too. We would both grow weaker, and it would affect my shifting and other abilities."
"Wow."
"And I'm not saying that to scare you at all, just answering your question honestly."
"So what does that mean for us?"
"What do you want it to mean? Like I said, you are now my sole purpose of living. Your safety and well-being, your life, are now my greatest priority. I will be whatever you need me to be."
"Okay. So, if I wanted to pursue something romantically, would you only be doing it because you have to? Because I actually really like you. Like a lot. But I don't want to force you into anything that you don't actually want."
"I like you, too. And I'm not just saying that because of the bond. I do genuinely mean that. I know it didn't seem like it because of how I acted and how I treated you, but the more time I've spent around you, the more my feelings have grown. My feelings for you are real, they are just amplified by the connection we have."
"Okay."
"Is that want you want?" He asks. "To pursue this romantically?"
"Maybe." I shrug. "Do you?"
"I would like that." He smiles softly.
"Me too." I return with a smile of my own, subconsciously leaning closer to him. "We should probably take it slow though."
"Definitely." He responds, moving in more. Our noses brush gently as he speaks. "Would you be mad if I kissed you? Right now."
I shake my head at his question. "I think I would be more mad if you didn't"
That's all that needs to be said before he leans in the rest of the way and molds his lips softly to mine. Butterflies erupt in my stomach instantly. My body feels like it's on fire, but in a good way. His hand finds my cheek, angling me to deepen the kiss as both of mine find the nape of his neck, my fingers tangling in his hair.
Once we both run out of breath, he pulls back, pecking my lips a few more times.
"I should probably get you home." He whispers, resting his forehead against mine.
"Yeah, you probably should." I whisper back, brushing my lips against his softly. He groans softly, caving in and kissing me hard.
"Okay." He moves away to settle back into his seat. "For real, I need to get you home."
"Sorry." I blush.
"Don't apologize." He says. "I didn't mind at all. And now that I've gotten a taste of what its like to kiss you, I don't ever want to stop, but we've been sitting here for a while out in the middle of nowhere."
"You're right. Let's go."
The rest of the drive is spent with light conversation and giddy smiles shared between the two of us. He keeps my hand interlocked with his the whole time and places light pecks against the back of it every now and then. We finally make it to my house, much to my disappointment. Embry, being the gentleman he is, walks me to the door.
"I guess this is goodnight, then." He says, hands still holding mine tightly, as if he doesn't want to let go.
"I mean, it doesn't have to be." He quirks an eyebrow at the insinuation behind my words. "Do you want to come in?"
"I shouldn't." He shakes his head, releasing one of my hands so I can unlock my front door.
"But I think you should." I open the door, tugging on his hand as I step inside. I watch as he battles with whether he should decline or give in. I wait patiently as he makes his decision.
"Fuck it!" He finally says before diving in for a kiss, kicking the door closed behind us as we stumble into the house.

The Grey Wolves - Paul & Embry
A/n: For some reason, I decided to make this a series. It’s gonna be a straight up smut series😭. These can be read separately.

(Y/n) was wondering around in the forest, hoping to randomly run into at least one of the four wolves. It has been two days since the “intervention”, as Paul called it. She wanted them again, she craved them.
None of the boys been with her since, but that didn’t stop any of them from sending teasing looks another’s way. So far, no one caught on, or didn’t show they caught on.
(Y/n) heard a twig snap behind her. She swung around to find two large wolves. One was plain while the other was gray with block spots lining its back.
Paul and Embry.
She sauntered towards them, raising one hand to Embry and raised the other to Paul. Paul smelt her hand before dipping his big head down. She began to pet his head. She jumped a bit when she felt Embry lick her hand in front of him.
“Hello, boys.” She greeted them softly with a small smile. Her smile grew when the wolves let out what sounded like a purr.
“You know, you’re much more sweet and gentle in your wolf form.” She snickered when Paul let out a groan.
He pulled away from her, trotting behind a trees, Embry not far behind. It wasn’t long before they came out with shorts on.
“Still don’t know why we put shorts on, we’re going to take them off to fuck her anyway.” Paul mumbled loud enough for her to hear.
“How do we know that’s all she came here for?” Embry asked.
“Yeah, how would you know that’s all I came here for?” She raised a brow.
“We can smell you.” He stated, eyes traveling down her body.
Embry moved to stand behind her, Paul staying in front. He lifted her shirt, his hand resting on her hips, drawing circles on her skin.
Embry leaned in, “I want to taste you.” He whispered in her ear. “And I knows Paul wants to too.” His words sent shivers down her spine which they noticed.
The wolves shared a look. Embry lifted her shirt up and off her body, Paul unbuttoning and pulling down her pants, taking her underwear along with them. She kicked them off and unclasped her bra, throwing them with the rest of her clothes.
“Sit.” Paul ordered.
She immediately sat down. Embry sat behind her, pulling her body to his. She sat with her back to his chest, legs over Embry’s, spread wide for Paul.
Paul kneeled in front of her, wetting his lips. He leaned forward, face to face with her pussy. He gave an experimental lick. He was pleased when she let out a breathy moan.
He began lapping at her juices, her heavy breathing becoming moans. Embry tilted his head into the crook of her neck, sucking hickeys into her skin. He groped her breasts, massaging them before pinching and flicking her nipples.
Paul, continuing the assault on her pussy, placed his thumb on her clit, rubbing harsh circles. She bucked her hips. Her hand flew to his hair, gently pulling at it. Paul groaned into her. She laid her head back onto Embry’s shoulders.
She bucked her hips again, only this time, Embry wrapped his arm around her, tightening it to stop her from moving.
“Stay still for Paul.” He murmured into her neck. She relaxed her hips.
Her moans became more frequent the longer Paul ate her out.
She began to squirm, “I…I’m so close.” She moaned out.
Embry glanced at Paul, finding no sign of him stopping. “Cum for him, baby.” She let out a loud whine as she came.
She relaxed against Embry, breathing heavily. She softly pushed at Paul’s head. “Too sensitive.”
He pulled back, smirking at the boy behind her. He’s planning something.
“You want to sit on Embry’s face?” She turned to look at Embry, his face was red from his pack mate’s idea.
“Yeah..” She said, gently pushing Embry to lie down to which me complied. She turned her body over, shuffling up his body until her core hovered over his face.
“I said ‘sit’, not ‘hover’” Paul reminded, moving from behind to stand in front of her.
She lowered herself until she was sitting on his face. Embry’s hands gripped her hips, he wasting no time sucking on her clit. She moaned loudly, still sensitive from her first orgasm.
Paul unzipped his shorts, throwing them next to her clothes. “Suck.” He demanded. She immediately wrapped her lips around his hard cock.
Embry nudged her ass up enough to push three fingers inside her, causing a chain reaction. He forced a moan out of her, Paul almost came from the vibrations from her.
Unfortunately for him, (Y/n) noticed this. She pulled his dick out of her mouth, she began to stroke him fast. She gave one hard suck to his tip, making him groan. His hand went straight to her hair, shoving his cock down her throat and cumming.
Embry gave a particularly hard suck to her clit, making the coil snap in her stomach. She came all over his fingers. She pulled Paul out of her mouth, also lifting herself from Embry’s fingers, she rolled to sit on the ground to free him.
The three breathed heavily for a second. Of course, Paul and Embry caught their breath faster than she did due to them being supernatural.
Paul smirked at her. “I hope you’re not done.” She shook her head, she needed them to fuck her again.
Wordlessly, Embry crawled to her, now kneeling between her legs. He lifted up her legs to set them on his shoulders.
After, he lined himself up with her entrance, he looked at her. “Are you ready?”
“Yes,” she breathed out.
With that, he slid into her, both of them moaning at the feeling of one another. Once he began to move, albeit slowly, he leaned down to kiss her neck.
She wiggled her hips a bit. “Faster, please.” She begged. Embry rocked his hips faster, rougher.
Paul chuckled from somewhere she couldn’t see. “Little whore can’t come without being fucked hard?” He taunted.
She shook her head, tears filling her eyes from the pleasure. Paul grinned at her pathetic state.
Embry slammed into her harder and harder as his release was already approaching. Her moans got louder when he started to rub harsh circles onto her clit.
“E-mbry, I-I’m gonna cu-m.” She struggled to get out with his thrusts.
“Cum, Pretty Girl,” He whimpered out to her.
She came with a broken moan. She clenched around Embry, causing his orgasm to hit. He filled her to the brim with a long, high pitched moan. She prayed she never would forget the sound.
She let her legs fall from his shoulders as he pulled out of her, Paul immediately taking his place.
He tapped her inner thigh, “Face down, ass up.” She quickly obeyed, rolling over, getting up on her knees and laid her head on the ground.
He teased her slit with his tip. (Y/n whimpered, “Paul, baby, don’t tease.”
Paul slapped her ass. “You’re not in any position to be making demands.” He spanked her ass again, causing her to yelp.
“I’m sorry,” she apologized. “I just really want you,” she whined for him.
“You want me that bad?” He mocked her.
“Yes, pleas- ah.” She was cut off by her own moan when he shoved himself inside of her. He didn’t bother starting slow, he relentlessly pounded into her, making her cry out repeatedly.
He went impossibly faster, her mouth open in a permanent ’o’. She was clawing at the ground for something to hold onto.
Embry crawled over to her, taking her hands into his for something to hold on to. She was gripping onto his hands so tight as Paul gave her the ride of her life.
Paul leaned down, wrapping his big hand around her throat tightly, but not enough to hurt her or completely restrict her breathing.
She began to clench around him. He knew she was close. He reached down, playing with her clit.
“Please, pl-ease, don’t stop, please. I’m go-oing to cum-m,” she babbled, tearing up from pleasure.
“Going to cum all over my dick? You want to come?” Paul teased her, pinching at her clit.
“Yes, yes, please. Make m-me cum, ma-make me cum.” She begged, tightening her grip on Embry’s hands. Embry’s thumb rubbed the back of her hand, but due to the pleasure, she didn’t notice. “I’m go-ing to cum!”
“Cum,” he spoke, voice starting to strain.
She came with a broken moan, clenching hard around his cock. Paul groaned, pressing this hips firmly against her ass, spilling his seed inside her.
Both of them relaxed against each other, breathing heavily. Paul pulled out of her, watching a mix his, Embry’s and her cum ooze out of her.
With Paul out of her, (Y/n) rolled onto her side, giving her knees a rest. Embry tapped against her cheek. She lifted her head, he placed his leg where her head was, allowing her to rest her head on his thigh.
Paul sat next to her, rubbing her back as she caught her breathe.
“Are you okay?” Embry asked.
She glanced up at him and nodded, “Yeah. It was amazing, thank you.”
Paul smiled softly, something no one would expect from him. He rubbed his thumb across her check. Embry smiled at the sight.
Their smiled dropped when they heard howls in the distance.
“Shit, I forgot we were on patrol.” Paul grumbled.
Embry grabbed his shorts and cleaned her with them. She winced from the oversensitivity. Once he was done, she quickly stood up on wobbly legs and shrugged her clothes on.
“Sorry we have to leave you like this,” Embry apologized, looking upset that he has to leave. She glanced over at Paul, him with the same look.
“It’s fine, boys. I did interrupt patrolling.” She walked up to them, pressing quick kisses to their cheeks. “Have fun.” She smiled before walking away.
“(Y/n)?” She turned at the call of her name. Paul winked at her. “Don’t forget to make a visit to Quil and Jared!”

A/N: Reader dislikes Embry. When he imprinted on her, she got pissed off. Ofc she thinks he's attractive, but he annoys her. Also, this is after they all graduate. Embry is 19.
Embry call x fem reader
"Y/n, Victoria is after you too." Alice looks at you. You observe the faces of all the vampires in the room. Jacob and Embry stand beside you. "Jesus christ. We're in." Jake steps forward.
"No way." Bella objects. "This is what you want. Us working together." Jacob smirks at her. You look over to Embry who has his arms crossed and is in deep thought.
After the talk, you guys go to Emily's house. Quil made a joke about your hairline. "Burn!!!" Embry laughs. You roll your eyes at him and pinch his arm. "Aye!" He glares at you. "Shut up." You spit. "Dude, chill the fuck out." He argues like a child. "Mom and dad don't fight over me, please!" Quil jokingly cries. "Whatever." You get up to leave Emily's. Embry grabs your wrist. "You're not leaving here without me. Victoria will kill you." You jerk your arm away. "You're not my boss. Why did you imprint on me? I didn't like you when you were regular human and now that we have this stupid ass bond, you're up my ass." He backs away from you. "Move." He warns you. "What? You gonna hurt me?" You taunt.
He phases and howls, running into the woods. Quil runs out and looks at you. "You know, he may be a bit childlike but he's a good guy. He loves you. Cut him some slack." Quil says.
---- the tent scene ----
Bella and Edward are in one tent while you and Embry are in the other. You shiver and hold onto the thick blanket. Embry stares at you, feeling guilty. "Stop staring, Call." You grit. "Let me help-"
"Don't." You hold your hand out to stop him from moving to you. "This is all my fault." He sighs and looks down. "I let you around Bella. I should've step my foot down." He puts his head in his hands. "You didn't LET me do anything. You're not in charge of me." You hiss.
He looks up at you. Your lips are turning blue and your teeth are chattering. He rolls his eyes and sits next to you. You groan and he looks at you with a stern face. "I'm not going to touch you. Just trying to give you some relief." You give in feeling how warm he is. You lean against him, putting your hands on his waist.
"We aren't talking about this after." You mumble against his shoulder. He chuckles and shakes his head. "You need sleep." He lays back, pulling you down with him. "No I don't." You try to argue to make sure he knows that he annoys you.
The longer you hold onto him, the more you realize you can't deny the feelings you have for him any more. Right now, you feel safe. He keeps you safe. He cares about you.
You get lost in thought about everything he does for you that you forget that he even annoys you. He's two years younger than you, he likes to be rowdy and rough house, but you're his. You think about how you can find it cute and enjoy the immaturity.
"I'm sorry." You break the silence. He looks down at you, confused. "I'm sorry for treating you badly. I'm just not used to being around silly guys. I'm a serious person, but the more I think of it, you can even me out. We even each other out. I really do love you, Embry. I have this whole time. I was just scared of getting into this forever when we are opposites." You admit.
He grabs your face and makes you look at him. "Are you going to regret this?" He asks quietly. "No."
You lean in and kiss him. His lips are fire on yours. The first kiss has you melting into his arms.
He pulls away and places his forehead on yours. "I love you, doll."
"I love you, my everything." You whisper the last part. He smiles and giggles, pulling you on his chest and laying down.
---- after the battle at Emily's----
You sit at the table with Jared, Quil, and Paul. Jacob, Embry, and Sam walk in. Embry kisses your cheek and sits next to you. "Hey baby." He puts his hand on your knee. "Hey, my love." You smile at him and give him a quick peck on the lips.
Paul turns to Jared and holds out his hand, "twenty bucks, cough it up." He smirks.
"Bro!" Jared rolls his eyes and hands it to him. Quil smiles at you guys and gives you a thumbs up.

Brothers Best Friend Pt.2
Pt.1
Sam Uley! x Fem!Reader!
A/N: Part Two of a two-part series where Sam is your brother's friend. Slightly based on the plot of New Moon. Emily is Sam's cousin in this. Sorry this took me so long, I've been super busy. Sorry if this sucks lol I didn't proofread but I hope you like it. Feel free to comment, I would love feedback! Stay tuned for my Fred Weasley fics soon!
Warnings//: Profanity.
Summary: Sam is your brother's best friend. What happens when suddenly you start hearing rumors that they have joined a gang and gone off the rails.
B/N=Brothers name (make one up if you wish
"I only have one, why did my brother attack Sam like that? It was out of nowhere, I couldn't even react. It all happened so fast," you ask with confusion trying to wrap your head around all of this.
She looked at you a bit stunned as if she didn't know that piece of information, and you had just said something bizarre.
"He what?" she stuttered. "Wait B/N attacked Sam? Is that why they shifted? I thought the boys caught a whiff of....... never mind" she trailed off, not meaning to slip up.
"Caught a whiff of what?" you ask, staring at her intensely. She looks up at you like a guilty child getting caught doing something wrong by their parents, she avoids your eyes and stands up starting to clean up what you assume was lunch, until the boys were interrupted.
"Of what, Emily" you press, a bit more sternly.
Just as Emily was about to speak, all of the boys barged into the house playfully pushing each other around. You search the group for your brother and Sam. They must still be outside. You sit there as Emily laughs at the boy’s antics and kisses her boyfriend Jared. They all turn to look at you.
“I guess the Wolf’s out of the bag” Embry remarks with a smirk.
“Sorry if we scared you Y/n,” Quil says with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.
You smile shyly at them
“ It’s okay, I think the initial shock is gone,” you say with a breathy laugh.
“Sam and B/n are on the porch if you want to go talk to them,” Jared added, moving to sit at the table and grabbing a muffin.
You nod your head and stand up, walking to the front door nervously. You could hear your heartbeat booming in your ears. You were more nervous to talk to Sam than anyone. Ever since you made eye contact you couldn't get him out of your head, you feel guilty but your brother barely crossed your mind. You should have been worried about B/n but you couldn’t help but worry for Sam, wondering why B/n would attack him and if he was okay. You near the door and before you can open it your brother walks into the house. You stare at each other for a while, he can tell on your face that he isn’t the one you were hoping to see. He doesn’t say a word, only tossing his head back to the porch and continuing to walk into the kitchen. You continue to walk out of the house and see Sam sitting on the steps with his head in his hands. He looks up when he hears your footsteps. You sit next to him and look out at the trees, not saying a word.
“I assume Emily filled you in” Sam begins, hesitation clear in his voice.
“She did, at least part of it. I know what you and the rest of the boys are. I don’t know why, or what any of this means though.” You answer. You hear him sigh, and when you look over at him you can see he’s restraining himself, like he wants to say something but is hesitating heavily. Trying to find the right words before he begins.
“I need you to trust me, I need you to listen and I need you to promise me you won’t take off running before I finish explaining” He breathed.
You stare at him momentarily, a bit scared and shocked at what he is saying. You already know he is a werewolf, what could he tell you that would make you run when you haven’t already?
“Okay, I promise” You accepted. You were nervous, but you couldn’t help the pull you felt towards Sam. You could sit there for hours not saying a word and be perfectly content. You tried to push your feelings down in his moment, now was not the time to let your emotions take control.
“Growing up with the stories of our tribe, you already know what we are… but there are things, secrets, only the pack members and elders know.” He sighs, breath shaking from nervousness.
You sit waiting patiently for him to continue.
“None of this was a choice, not a single one of us chose this for ourselves. I don’t think any of us would choose this life if we did have a say in it.” He takes a moment to glance at you, then continues. “ In our world, there is something called an imprint. An imprint is a person that you have a special bond with. When you meet this person, it is no longer gravity holding you to the earth… it's them. Having an imprint is like having a best friend, a lover, a sister, or anything that the bond decides that you are. It's not always romantic, it can be whatever the imprint decides they need. We wolves go along with it, we are happy to. On our side of things, we will be whatever the imprint wants or needs. We act as a built-in protector, friend, family member, or…lover.” he trails, glancing at you to read your face.
“ So what does this have to do with me?” You say confused.
“You are my imprint Y/N, I understand all of this is shocking and crazy. If you need time to figure things out I will support that and whatever else you need. Just say the word and I will back off.” He says rushing, trying to be clear that you have a choice even if he doesn’t.
“Do you even like me? I mean I know you said that it doesn’t have to be romantic but do you even want me to be your imprint?” You said, insecurity dripped from your words. You didn't mean to sound so rude or disappointed but you wanted to know that these feelings were not one-sided. You had feelings for him and now you’re bonded, but he is making it seem like he wouldn’t have picked you if he had the choice.
He doesn’t have a choice. This thought repeats in your head filling the silence that takes over until he begins speaking again.
“You’re my best friend's little sister” He heaves a sigh. He puts his head in his hands and grips his hair before looking up at you again.
“Fuck it” He mumbles before grabbing the back of your head and bringing you closer to him in one smooth motion. You can feel the heat coming off your body, your cheeks become warmer and you become more nervous under his intense gaze. He looks down at your lips and then into your eyes, waiting for you to pull away or tell him to stop. You sit there shocked for a second, mind racing and body not fully responding to what is happening.
“Yes,” you speak barely above a whisper, answering his unasked question.
That's all he needs before he connects your lips, grip still on the back of your head. Your eyes close and you sink into the moment. All the years of pining suddenly become clear as the kiss deepens. Two people who have tried to keep their feelings hidden finally let them flow as their mouths move perfectly in sync. The kiss is aggressive, hard, and fueled by fire but also soft, warm, and loving. Contradicting itself but turning into the perfect blend of yin and yang. It was a representation of the people who made it.
You both pull away out of breath but longing for more. You open your eyes, catching your breath. You push on his chest softly and back up. As amazing as the kiss was, you needed to hear him say how he felt. You needed to know that it wasn’t just the imprint bond.
He quickly realized what you were searching for and smiled softly, moving his hand from your head and taking your hands into his own.
“I’ve been in love with you since we were kids” he said blushing, looking down at his hands and then looking out to the beach in the distance.
“I knew since the day your brother and I were playing with BB guns and he shot me in the forehead. Even though it was an accident you screamed at him and called him stupid for not being more careful.” You both laugh softly at the memory, he smiles at you before continuing. “You took me inside and gave me a bag of frozen peas to put on my head. I was embarrassed but you looked at me with the purest look in your eyes and told me that ‘everyone got hurt and it was okay to let someone else help you every once and a while’. I realized how special you are, I wanted to be around you to feel that comfort that you so easily gave. From that day on my feelings only grew, but I didn’t want your brother to find out. I thought that he would hate me, I thought that I would be a bad friend for even considering liking you. So I hid it, and slowly I started ignoring you. I feel horrible for it but I had to, I couldn't talk to you or even be near you without feeling like I was going to slip up and reveal what I was trying to suppress. I also never even considered that you would ever feel the same. So I’m sorry I never told you and I ignored you for so long but I didn’t feel like I had any other choice” He finishes his rant letting out a long breath
You smile widely, gazing at him lovingly. You reach up and turn his head to face you, taking his face into your hands.
“ How did you not realize what was right in front of you, I've felt the same way for so long I can't even begin to tell you how long I've felt this way.” You breathe out a laugh. “I understand, why you did what you did. I did the same honestly, I was scared of how B/N would react so I pushed down my feelings and tried to act normal. Sam we don’t have to hide ourselves anymore. I want this”
You take his hand in your own squeezing it slightly. “If this is what you want, you have a choice in this as well,” You say kindly.
He looks at your hands interlinked and then back at you smiling softly. “Of course, this is what I want, this will always be what I want Y/N”
You share another loving kiss before you hear loud cheering and hollering coming from inside. You both turn your heads to see the boys celebrating and acting like it’s New Year's. They start plummeting towards you both, patting Sam on the back and pushing him.
“Yeah, yeah. Chill out guys” Sam demands, smiling and shoving them backwards.
You stare at them smiling and laughing at their antics, until you see your brother standing in the doorway.
“You have my blessing by the way,” He says with a smirk.
“Like I need it” You retort rolling your eyes at his cockiness.
You stand up and follow him inside, while the boys continue to gush about how they can finally stop hearing Sam’s sad and depressing thoughts about you.
Your brother tells you that he didn’t mean to react the way he did but the wolf can be hard to control. He informs you about all that he’s been going through these past months and how he wanted to tell you and your parents for so long, but since Sam is the alpha what he says goes. You tell him to go see your parents tomorrow and how much pain he has caused the family.
After the talk, you both head down to the beach and sit around the fire. You’re cuddling with Sam, surrounded by everyone laughing and enjoying the clear-skied night. You realize this is exactly where you want to be. This is exactly what you’ve wanted for a long time. You’re going to love this new life that is forming in front of you.

okay hear me out - so i just learned on tiktok that apparently women get super easily attached to men (or women lol) who make them orgasm and i immediately thought of poly!paulxreaderxembry where paul is OBSESSED with making reader cum all the time and makes a random (unrelated) joke about her being super attached to him and embry is just rolling his eyes and telling him duh ofc she is - you're fucking with her hormones all the time by making her cum so often and paul is just DUMBFOUNDED at the fact that the main reason reader is so attached to him is because he literally just makes her cum multiple times a day.
embry is definitely one of the smarter ones of the group😭
...
"princess," paul started with a soft laugh, "you can come over here y'know," he teased when he saw your figure in the door frame of your shared apartment's living room.
your cheeks were immediately heating up to a bright red at his comment but you were nonetheless over the moon that he'd proactively offered to let you sit with him so you were quickly stepping over to sit down in his lap.
your other imprinter also let out a breathy laugh at the two of your's interaction. paul helped you sit situated so you were curled up in his lap but your legs could be outstretched enough for your feet to land in embry's lap, "so needy sometimes," paul teased, both boys laughing when you immediately buried your face in the crook of his neck in a weak attempt to hide your embarrassment over the whole ordeal.
"obviously she's needy," embry rolled his eyes despite the fact that you couldn't see it, a small smile on his face gave away he was just teasing you and paul, "have you seen how often you make her cum? you're fucking with her hormones doing that all the time," he added with a laugh.
you lifted your head from paul's shoulder at that, both you and paul wearing equally confused expressions as you looked at each other and then over to embry for some kind of additional explanation.
"every time you make her cum you release an insane amount of oxytocin and dopamine in her brain," embry explained, looking a little disturbed that neither you nor paul had any clue what the hell he was talking about. when embry saw that you two were still silently trying to process what he was explaining, he added, "those two make her feel attached to you which is why she wants to be around you all the time."
paul blinked twice, opening his mouth to respond to embry but nothing seemed to come out so he turned his attention over to you, "so what i'm hearing is embry needs to make you cum more often," he started, all three of you letting out loud laughs at paul's comment.
although paul definitely was a bit more obsessed with making you cum multiple times a day than his counterpart, embry was definitely not lacking in the releasing-your-feel-good-hormones department.
"i can't believe you didn't know that," embry said with a laugh, rolling his eyes as he gently rubbed your foot with one hand while reaching for the remote with his other so the three of you could get something on to watch before bed.
paul seemed content with his newfound realization, just settled for pressing his lips to the crown of your head, squeezing your hip playfully which had you giggling again as you got cuddled up with the two boys for a movie night.

embry, i'm coming home
pairing; embry call x reader
warnings; kissing i guess idk
just getting back into this, tell me your thoughts and stuff - maybe even request a thing or two
summary; you're Quil's sister, and go over to confront Embry about ditching him, and instead, he imprints on you.
Being Quil's twin sister, you'd known Embry pretty much forever. Growing up beside each other, you'd always thought he was cute, but you never told Quil. You already knew he'd never allow it. It also wasn't something you wanted to do to them, if anything were to happen, it would shift the whole group dynamic, and no one wanted that.
You two had always loved each other, and you both knew it.
But when Embry had started ignoring all his friends... well, it really pissed you off.
Quil and Jake were left sad, upset but mostly confused. What was Embry up to that they couldn't know about? What was Sam Uley doing to these guys that turned them into such a tight lipped, secretive little club.
You were tired of seeing Quil so devastated, and one day, after he got home and locked himself in his room. You'd had enough of it.
Embry didn't have to hang out with them if he didn't want to, but he didn't have to be a dick about it either.
So you got into your mom's car, and drove over to his house. The silence of the broken car stereo just egged your anger on more, making it. And as you thought of what to say, it got more and more irritated.
Parking in the laneway of Embry's house, you saw there were no cars in the drive. And you were thankful for that, no one around to witness you yelling at him for being a shitty friend.
You knocked loudly a couple times, but no one came to the door. You tried peaking in through the window, and didn't see his mom or anyone else in the living room, so she must not have been there. You weren't leaving without answers, so you dug the spare key out of it's hidden spot in the big flower pot out front, wiping the dirt off on your pant leg, you let yourself into his house.
There was music playing softly in his room, he always let it play while he slept. Something you used to find endearing, but right now it somehow also made you mad.
You pushed open the door to his room, and there he was, laying face down, sheets tangled around his legs, back and muscles on full display. If you didn't know any better, you wouldn't even believe this was Embry, he looked so different. His short hair was messy, sticking up in random spots from tossing and turning. He'd always been a restless sleeper.
You picked a random trinket off his dresser, an unsolved rubicks cube, and threw it at him, the sharp corner hitting him on the back, and he sprung up, confused and disoriented at the sudden intrusion.
"Get up," you said, crossing your arms.
"What?" He tried to blink himself awake, holding himself off the bed, flexing his strong arms, subtly cracking your resolve without trying to. In this moment, he was Embry again. Confused, tired, looking at you with sleep in his eyes.
And when he looked at you, a wave of calm ran over you. All the yelling you planned to do washed away, and it all seemed silly now, unimportant. Your heart was beating heavily, and you wanted to run to him. Wanted to kick him, and fight him and kiss him all at once.
Embry was still Embry, you could feel it. But why did he leave you?
"I missed you," you said, voice cracking as you tried to stay calm, unable to yell at him. Unable to find the anger you'd drove over here with.
He scrambled to get up, confusion leaving his face. And he was looking at you like he always did. His body was different, but his eyes, his eyes were his. You felt drawn to him, like gravity had shifted entirely, like you belonged in this room with him. Like you belonged beside him at all times.
"I missed you," he said, acting as if he'd never left. As if he'd never been missing. And everything suddenly felt normal again. Like there weren't any secrets. He came closer, hesitant. Slowly making his way across the small room, stopping just before you. "I've really, really missed you."
There was no reason for it, but tears welled in your eyes, running down your cheeks before you could stop it.
"Then why did you leave?"
"I didn't have a choice," he said, "but that's different now."
"Since when?"
"Since right now."
The tears kept falling, and no one moved. Embry looking down at you sadly, his heart aching at the sight of you crying. He wondered how many times you'd cried over him before today, how many nights you wondered where he is, or why he wouldn't call you back. You had been the hardest to leave behind, even more than his friends. Maybe there was a small part of his subconscious that always knew you two were meant for each other. Like his mind knew to just wait for this moment.
He was the first to make move, bringing his hand up to wipe some of the tears off your cheek.
"It wasn't fair," you sobbed, desperate to wrap yourself around him, but you resisted.
"I know," he said.
"I called."
"I know."
"You weren’t supposed to leave me like that."
"I know," he said again, brushing your hair behind your ears. His warm touch soothing you, making the tears stop. Bringing a sense of comfort you'd been missing for weeks. "Never again."
"Promise?"
"I promise." Embry held his hands against your cheek, his long fingers grazing the edges of your hair, holding you steady and softly, keeping his eyes locked on you. "I will never let you down again." He placed a soft kiss to your forehead. "My life is yours."
"Embry," you sighed softly, confused but leaning into the moment. It all felt right. Like you believed him, you knew he was sincere. You'd barely talked about anything but he wasn't lying to you, you knew that somehow. "Will you tell me why?"
"Yes," he answered. "Anything and everything, I'll explain it all."
"No secrets?"
"Not from you," he said, "I'll never keep anything from you again."
The two of you were still standing in his doorway. And you still wanted answers, today. But... in a minute.
Embry's heart raced as he looked down at you. His imprint, his girl. The one who's always had his heart. The one who he'd already loved. Without thinking, he leaned down to scoop you up. Picking you up like you weighed nothing at all, letting you wrap your legs around his waist, faces inches apart. And he just looked at you, eyes filled with love and devotion. Like you'd been apart for hours, not weeks.
And then you kissed him. You leaned into him and pressed your lips to his, feeling the softness you always dreamed about. It was beautiful, the way your mouths moved together slowly. Him following your lead, spreading his hands over your back and holding you as close to him as possible. Your arms were wrapped around his shoulders, pressing your chest into his.
Nothing had ever felt more right than this. No moment ever as perfect.
He brought you to the bed, setting you down gently, barely ever breaking contact with his lips. And one of his hands moved back to your cheek, caressing the soft skin as he climbed on top of you, settling between your legs, pressing your bodies together like he belonged there. You moaned into him, inviting his tongue into mouth. It was slow and sensual, and took the time to learn what you liked, what your body reacted to.
Embry was the first to pull away, even though he didn't want to, but he had to stop. Didn't want to rush anything, take anything too far too soon. He'd never seen anyone so beautiful.
"I'm so sorry," he said kissing your nose, then your cheek, then right by your ear, making you moan and push your chest up into him. "I will be sorry for hurting you for as long as I live."
"I forgive you," you whispered, and it was like he was set free. Everything about today had set him free. Free to be with you, to tell you the full truth.
He'd never really left, watched over you and Quil. Checking in on you before and after his patrols. Making sure you got to work safe, and home again.
"Will you come see Quil again?" and you could tell by the guilty look on his face, that no, he wouldn't be able to. While things between the two of you were different now, the rift between friends have stayed the same.
"It's not like that," he said, "staying away is not something I want to do."
He rolled off of you, staying close to your side and pulling you into him, spooning you from behind and nuzzling his face into your neck. He'd never felt truly at home until this very minute.
Everything about you was home.
"I have a lot of stuff to tell you," he said. "And I'd like to get it out of the way so I can keep kissing you."

denial [embry call]
description: reader rejects embry’s kisses until she finally doesn’t.
requested by: none
warnings: none
“Okay.” You yawned, stretching as much as you could while laying in bed before reaching over to plug your phone in on the dresser. “I’m going to sleep.”
You and Embry had been laying in bed for only a few minutes, checking in on your phones one last time before retiring for the night. The both of you had to work in the morning and the sooner you went to sleep, the more well rested you would be at work.
You rolled over, tucking the blanket under your chin and had just closed your eyes when you heard your boyfriend clear his throat. “Excuse you?”
You peeked an eye open, turning your head slightly to look at him. “Excuse you?”
“Where’s my kiss?”
“Who’s says you get one?” You teased, giggling lightly when you saw him raise his eyebrows.
“You always give me a kiss before bed.” His lips turned into a pout and you had to smile at him. Sometimes it was fun to mess with Embry.
You rolled back over, closing your eyes. “You missed your chance. Goodnight.”
You smiled again when you heard his phone click off and ducked your head under the blankets when he began to move towards you. Embry’s fingers poked into your sides and you laughed loudly, not expecting him to tickle you. “That’s cheating!”
He only laughed in reply, taking one hand away from your side to try and pull down the blanket. You turned your head to the mattress, determined that you wouldn’t give up that easily.
“Just one kiss and I’ll leave you alone!”
“Never!” You shouted back.
Embry stopped then, moving back to his side of the bed. “Fine then. I’ll never try to kiss you again.”
You smiled to yourself, deciding it was finally time to end Embry’s misery. You rolled over, uncovering your face and lifting your lips to his. You gently kissed the side of his face, his nose, and finally his lips. “You give up too easily.”
“Nah.” He grinned. “I just knew that would make you cave.”
You rolled your eyes at him, giving him the opportunity to press one more, longer kiss to your lips. “Goodnight, my love.”
With a smile, you pressed one more kiss to his lips before turning back to your side. “Goodnight.”

pov: you find out about your boyfriend, seth and his friends being able to shift into wolves
"You don't have to do this if you don't want to, you know?" Seth asked for the milionth time.
"I do want to meet your friends, seth, I know how important they are to you" I reassured him with a smile.
We were now walking through the reservation, heading towards emily and sam uley's house, where seth's friends often hung out. We had been talking about this for a while and I figured that I would have met them sometime anyway, since Seth and I had been dating for a few months.
As soon as we reached the house, a few dark haired, shirtless and tan boys ran out, their faces radiating with excitment.
"So you're the lucky girl, huh?" one of them looked me up and down.
"Seth seems to be luckier, Jared. I'm Paul Lahote" another smirked as he held out his hand.
I took it nervously and said: "Y/N Y/L/N"
They each then shook my hand and greeted me.
"Embry Call. Nice to finally meet you, Y/N."
"Seth talks about you all the time, trust me. I'm Quil"
Seth lightly punched his shoulder and the boys laughed.
And so on. After introducing themselves, they sprinted back into the house as someone called for them. Seth and I stayed behind and he softly squeezed my hand, before saying:
"Seems to be going good"
"They all seem like great friends" I smiled at him.
"They are" he smiled back. "But if you ever bring this up, I'll deny it"
We both laughed and he turned to me as we reached the doorway and placed a soft kiss on my lips.
The boys sat at the table made puking sounds and jokingly covered their eyes with their hands.
Seth and I laughed it off, right before a woman scolded them.
I hadn't even noticed her; after she turned around, she came up to us and hugged me, then introduced herself as Emily Young.
"You're Sam's wife, ri-"
"His imprint" Paul cut me off.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as the boys all snapped at him, Jared's elbow hitting Paul's side, perhaps a bit harder than he meant.
In response to Jared, Paul got up, his chair falling to the ground, and pushed Jared a few meters back. They were yelling at each other as the other boys were quick to drag them out of the house, both of their bodies shaking violently.
"Stay here with Emily" Seth whispered, then ran towards them.
She and I got out on the porch, incapable of interfering.
Jacob was holding Paul back by his arm, while Quil and Jared were trying to calm Jared down, the other boys standing in between them.
"Cool off guys, Sam's about to get here" Emily shouted.
It was no use; swiftly, Paul freed himswlf from Jacob's grip and shockingly enough, his body contorsioned into the one of a huge, ash-gray wolf. Jared was quick to jump back at him, only he had transformed as well. Paul sank his teeth somewhere around the other guy's shoulder, who howled in pain before striking back.
When I was finally able to look away from the fight, my eyes searched for my boyfriend, with fear. He was nowhere to be seen; instead, in the place he last stood was now a wolf, who was a bit shorter than the rest, eyes looking into mine.
"Seth" I whispered.
I was frightened; not really of the huge wolves, though, but rather for Seth, praying he wouldn't get hurt.
I was pulled out of my train of thought by the shouting of another man, who was fastly approaching them. His head turned to me for a moment, before his clothes all fell onto the ground, shredded, as the greatest of wolves stood next to the fighting boys. He was visibly taller with black fur, his chest pressing forward as he held his head high; "must be their leader" I thought to myself.
Suddenly, the wolves all backed up, Paul and Jared's bowing in front of Sam. After a few moments in which all looked the great wolf in the eyes, they scattered running into the forest, nowhere to be seen.
Emily grabbed my arm softly and urged me inside.
"Come on, they'll be here soon"
"Are they going to be okay?" I asked quickly, much worried for them all, tears forming in my eyes.
She looked at me and sighed, stroking my hair.
"Yes, they'll be okay, sweetheart. This happens pretty much on a daily basis around here"
I gulped, with shock.
"So this... this huge wolf thing is common around here?"
She laughed and nodded.
"They'll explain everything to you when they get here"
As soon as she said that, the tan boys came back into the house, all laughing and joking around, Paul and Jared included. All except for Seth and Sam, who stayed behind, talking in a very serious demeanor. As they reached the house, Seth stopped into the doorway while Sam came uo to Emily and kissed her tenderly. Then, he turned to me and said:
"Seth wishes to talk to you, kid."
I nervously walked outside, meeting his anxious gaze.
We sat in silence for a few moments before I bursted out loud:
"Oh Seth, are you all alright?"
I checked his arms and chest and back, searching for any sign of harm, yet he was spotless.
"Yeah, I'm fine" he laughed, still tense.
I exhaled, relieved and hugged him tight.
"Are... are you not absolutely terrified by me? Do you not want to never talk to me again?"
I giggled against his warm shoulder.
"No, of course I'm not scared of you. I mean, was I completely taken aback when all you guys turned into huge wolves? Yeah, sure. But scared of you? No, never." I shook my head as I voiced the last words.
"I love you" he said, finally relaxed.
"I love you too"

Can you do the wolf pack from twilight reacting to Gn!Reader wearing their shirt/hoodie, but it’s too oversized for them.
(You can pick your preferred characters)
Embry might blush and smile, feeling a mix of pride and affection seeing (Y/N) wearing their oversized hoodie or shirt. They might tease (Y/N) playfully, saying something like, "Looks like my clothes fit you better than they fit me! You're stealing my style." Overall, Embry would likely find it endearing and enjoy the closeness and connection it represents.
Embry couldn't help but grin as they walked into the room and saw (Y/N) wearing their oversized hoodie. Their heart skipped a beat, a warm feeling spreading through them at the sight. "Well, well, look who's raiding my closet," Embry playfully remarked, a hint of affection in their tone.
(Y/N) looked up, cheeks slightly pink, but a mischievous glint in their eyes. "What can I say? Your hoodies are just too cozy to resist."
Embry walked over, unable to suppress the smile on their face. They reached out to lightly tug on the hoodie's sleeve. "I always knew you had good taste, but I didn't realize it extended to my wardrobe."
(Y/N) laughed, leaning in for a quick peck on Embry's cheek. "Your hoodies are like a soft, wearable hug. How could I resist that?"
Embry's heart fluttered at the affectionate gesture. "Well, you definitely wear it well. Maybe I should start charging rent for my clothes."
"Oh, please. I think I make them look even better than you do," (Y/N) quipped, giving Embry a playful nudge.
Embry pretended to gasp dramatically. "Is that a challenge, (Y/N)? Are we going to have a hoodie fashion face-off?"
(Y/N) raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of their lips. "You're on. But be warned, I've got some serious layering skills."
As the banter continued, Embry felt their heart swell with affection for (Y/N). It wasn't just about the hoodie or the playful exchange – it was about the comfortable intimacy they shared, the ability to be themselves around each other. Seeing (Y/N) in their clothes was a reminder of that connection, a tangible representation of their bond.
"Okay, okay, you win," Embry finally conceded, laughter in their eyes. "I'll admit defeat in the great hoodie duel."
(Y/N) grinned triumphantly. "That's what I thought. Now, can I keep this hoodie as a token of victory?"
Embry chuckled. "Of course, you can. Just promise to return it if I get too cold."
"You got it," (Y/N) replied, wrapping their arms around Embry in a tight hug, hoodie and all. "I'll keep you warm."
In that moment, Embry felt an overwhelming rush of love for (Y/N). The sight of them wearing the oversized hoodie was a reminder of the small moments that made their relationship special – the shared laughter, the gentle touches, and the feeling of being completely at ease with each other.
They rested their chin on (Y/N)'s shoulder, reveling in the warmth of the hug. "You always manage to make everything feel so much better," Embry murmured, their voice filled with genuine affection.
(Y/N) pulled back slightly, their gaze locking with Embry's. "That's because we're a team, remember? No matter what, we've got each other's backs."
Embry's lips curled into a soft smile, their fingers instinctively reaching up to brush a strand of hair away from (Y/N)'s face. "I'm grateful every day for you, (Y/N). For your support, your love, and even for stealing my hoodies."
(Y/N) chuckled, their eyes sparkling with warmth. "And I'm grateful for your hoodies being ridiculously comfortable."
Leaning in, Embry pressed a gentle kiss to (Y/N)'s lips, their heart fluttering as they tasted the familiar sweetness. "I love you," they whispered against (Y/N)'s mouth.
"I love you too," (Y/N) replied, their voice soft and filled with sincerity.
In that moment, as they stood there wrapped in each other's arms, wearing the oversized hoodie that symbolized their connection, Embry knew that they had something truly special. It wasn't just about the clothes or the playful banter – it was about the deep bond they shared, the way they complemented each other, and the love that grew stronger with each passing day.
As they held each other, Embry couldn't help but think that life was made up of these little moments – the stolen hoodies, the shared laughter, and the quiet expressions of love that spoke volumes without any words at all. And in each of those moments, they found a sense of belonging that made everything feel right.
