AN: Seventeen entire parts have been loved and supported and i cant thank you all enough ! hugs and kisses
<<prev
It wasn't annoying. It was in fact was soothing. The soft snore in your ear lets you know he was getting some type of sleep. One hand was under his head as he faced you. His face is very close to the side of your face.
You haven't made the effort or plans to move out of the bed. Tomorrow, you would have to leave him.
An entire week.
You remember the last time you haven't been around him for that long. Thinking back, you didn't know how you survived since it was way longer than a week.
A soft poke in your cheek startled you a bit, Paul's wide awake eyes looking back at you. You sigh.
"Sleeeep." you tell him with seriousness.
He just comfortably looks at you. Simply, defying you.
You look at him back.
"Sam gave me off today." Paul says quietly, still staring at you.
A small grin forms your face. "Good. You have all day to get some rest." you tell him.
"Except, I'm not." He says.
You shake your head in amusement at him. Nothing was said for a moment. You both basked in each other's presence. Your eyes were very curious as you paid attention to Paul. You paid attention to the blanket that barely covered his naked body.
You look away from the sight but a hand snatches your chin back to the sight. His once flaccid body part that was laying over was now sticking straight up. His hand takes yours and place it around it, making you stroke as he gives an encouraging groan.
You sit up straighter. At the same time, you both licked your lips.
"We just did it until the sun came up." you whisper to him, his intense hungry gaze made you nervous.
He sits up a bit straighter, displaying a wicked smile that made your stomach do backflips. Placing a sensual peck on your lips he makes a devilish suggestion, "Do you want me to do all of the work?"
Words were caught in your throat as the velvety sound of his voice and his predatory eyes wrapped you tight. He leans up to steal another kiss, but you soon find yourself already under him due to his hands rearranging your position.
Both of your hands were soon gripping the sheet under you as you looked down at the sight. You made heavy breathy noises as you felt like you were losing your mind. He hasn't been lapping at you long and your legs were already quivering.
You have one hand that gripped a handful of his hair as you push him back a bit, the feeling was intense. He did nothing but scoot you closer, making your head flop backwards, back down on the bed as your knees were now separated by your head. He dove right in with his mouth, sucking and licking your soul away. He wasn’t shy with making noises. You both were soon synchronizing noises as he felt good that you felt good.
Your body wouldn't stop moving on it own as you had trouble focusing on reality. Paul made it no better, as he felt all over you still with his hands while you were high with euphoria, making you moan just with his touches, you were sensitive. You crawl away and lay on the bed as you clenched your legs together with a case of the trembles, not wanting him to touch what was between there. It was overworked.
Your face was scrunched and a few stray tears came out of your eyes. You pant as you try to catch your breath. You push Paul's greedy hands away as you turn from him. Silently sobbing a bit. You soon found yourself being dragged by your ankles to the end of the bed. He stood over you as he made half of your lower body be hung off of the bed. He kept your knees by your head. The thrusts were slow, you felt every inch as your body clung onto him. You hissed as he kept pulling himself out completely before slowly sliding back into you.
He then leaned forward, making you clutch and claw at him as he rolled his hips sensually.
"You're mine right?" he whispers as you heard the wetness of yourself be heard as he slid back into you.
"Mhm." you say, hoping its coherent for him to understand. He now had your legs over his shoulders.
"Say it." he whispers as he slowly pulled himself out again. Your body instantly missed him and was screaming for him to come back.
"I'm yours. You're mine." you say breathy but prettily before a groan is followed up. Paul picked his pace up, making you lose your breath.
A plate was slid towards you as you blushed. Paul leaned to place a kiss near your ear as you looked at the breakfast he made you.
He sits near you as you both dig in. Halfway of your plate being empty, you look up with your cheeks full, to Paul's quiet snickering as he's looking at you.
Swallowing, you ask him, "What?"
"Worked up an appetite, huh?" he teasingly asks and you roll your eyes as this only makes him laugh. You couldn't help but look down and crack a small smile of your own.
He rises to take his empty plate and takes it into the kitchen. You rise as you are finished, meeting him in the kitchen. He takes your plate and before you know it, you’re almost the same height as him. Underneath your legs, you feel the cold counter surface.
Paul steps in between you and gives you a sensual opened mouth kiss. You press his chest back subtly with a couple of your fingers. His mouth sloppily moves to your ear and to the side of your neck. You try to jump off of the counter but when you moved forward, his bulge just hits your direct sex. He fully takes advantage of your limited clothing, the only thing that you had on was your underwear and a cotton t shirt.
You make a surprised sigh as you realize your breasts were displayed before him, his hands had scrunched your shirt up to show you off.
“Paul.” you say only to gain his attention, but he thinks its motivation as his face is now pressed onto your soft tissue that lay upon your chest.
Two large hands support your back as your body arches to him.
You’re not on the counter anymore. You’re in his arms, pouring back into the kiss he was giving you while he adjusts his naked self into your opening.
You squeeze your eyes shut as he stands and thrusts up in you. Your hips don’t know which way to move as your insides are being scraped all around. The flame of pleasure builded up as you whisper his name and oh my god’s. This didn’t slow him down. He was so strong as he manually made your body meet with his. His grunts got heavier as he made your body move in ways you never thought would come from you.
He turns and lays you on your side on the table. You look at him and he leans captures your mouth with a tongue filled kiss. The side of your body moved up and down as your mouth hang open. Paul rocked forward into you and your breaths were hitched. Your hand then grabs onto the arm that belonged to the hand that rested and gripped the skin on the side of your hip as you both shook as both climaxes were reached.
You look at him as you feel cozy. You both were under the blanket, facing each other with nude bodies pressed together. It was intimate as the silence surrounded both of you. You didn’t want to move. He didn’t want to move.
A slow drunk smile stretched across your face, softly with low energy you break the silence, “I didn’t even pack yet.”
Paul blinks and hums out a response.
That’s when his eyelids started to droop. You stay still so he could lose the battle of going to sleep but his body jerks lightly as he blinks his eyes open. His eyes focused back onto yours. You huff out an annoyed but very soft sigh, “Why won’t you sleep?” you question him.
He hums an I don’t know noise.
You move your body a bit as you humorously tell him in a low voice, “You know.”
He then closed his eyes, mushing himself even more against you and he gets comfortable. He breaths out a sigh before speaking, “I know you better answer me when you go.”
“Look at you, being bossy.” you say as a small laugh shake you both.
“It’s going to be hell. An entire week of hell.” he says.
“It’s not. I’m not being drafted for war.” you say as you look about.
“It feels like it.” he says low to the point where you felt lucky that you were able to catch what he said.
“I could’ve made you something before I left. To remember me by.” you say.
“I’d rather remember what you feel like.” he says his hands demonstrating his claim.
Your eyes flutter closed a bit before seeing a dark and lustful look on his face. You scoot back a bit but his body weight is heavy.
Swiping a strong stroke with his fingers on your sensitive center, you groan and squeeze your eyes shut.
“Please, Paul.” you whisper to him as you shake your head a bit.
He does nothing but drag your body over him. Your body clutches to him as you pull out of his sloppy kiss and sit up. A hand immediately cups your boob. Hissing at the sensation, you gently climb off of him.
“Just one more.” he says quietly as he pulls on your arm and placed his lips close under your eye.
“I would like to still know how to walk.” you say to him but this makes him darkly chuckle.
“Okay fine. Let’s cuddle.” he says and you scoot back over to him.
You turn over, he’s hard pressed against you but it’s nice and intimate. His flutters of breath tickle across your cheek as he lay close.
Your eyes fall close, feeling a wave of total relaxation. You started to drift but couldn’t go into the wonders of dreamland as you felt something wet and ticklish in your ear. Something ticklish was brushing against your hip and as you look down to see the head of stiff flesh staring right back at you. Your eyes squeeze shut as your breath turn shaky as you kept feeling the moist tongue trace the outline and anatomy of your ear. The grunts and groans that were made just for you, it made you open your mouth. It was as if you two rehearsed it, you both were matching each other’s tone, his fingers pressed and caressing your sensitive pearl.
Feeling familiar hardness grind against that same sensitive spot , made you drool as he made a way to keep his fingers there and rhythmic pleasure waved throughout your body.
Your eyes were closed as your chest was rising up and down, calming down from your intense orgasm. He didn’t even stick it in and you fell apart this hard.
You feel covers being slid off of your naked body as you pop your eyes open. A very naked Paul has the covers in his hands as he stares at you.
“Come with me.” he says as he drops one of his hands and thrusts it forward to you. You tiredly take it as he effortlessly pulls you off of the bed, the front of your body is held and pressed to him as he carried you the entire way into the water of the shower.
He lets you slowly slide down, your breasts slides down on his chest as he let you down to your wobbly legs. He grabs a bit of soap and lathers a small amount, smoothing over your chest. You held your lips in as you squinted, he enjoyed the view very much. He nipped and pulled at your nipples with his fingers and your body agreed with his touches. He caressed the front of you as he took his time to really cup and grope you.
You copy him, but only to stroke him The soap acted as lube. You use two hands. His fingers travel to the sides of your face. He cradled your cheeks as you sensually pump all of him. His tongue circled yours as you use one hand to stroke the two balls of flesh that were between him. You felt as he buck his hips to what you were doing to him. You didn’t care that the kisses were sloppy and Paul definitely didn’t.
You grabbed a towel as you both were finally managed to get clean. Paul leaves the bathroom still naked before you could fully wrap your towel around your body. You move into the bedroom to find him still stiff and ready to go as he lay up on his back. He glances over to you as soon as you could process the room.
He soon has your towel on the ground as you cross your arms at the coldness in the air. He manhandles you a bit, keeping you to his lips, as he’s now acting needy for physical affection.
You were very sensitive to the touch, you started to whine a bit as he lifted you right back into bed with him.
“I will sleep. Just ride me, baby.” he says in between kisses, the urgency didn’t turn you off as you catch wind of his heated eyes.
The muscles between your legs were sore, you sink down slowly. With Paul so eager, he takes over and you’re pressed back on top of him. Paul didn’t notice the tiny breaks of skin that formed on his arms from your fingernails. His mind was too far gone and too mushed to even understand. Both of your insides licked one another as cries for each other reached an all time peak.
You tiredly fall away from him with a flop on the bed. Laying on your stomach, you head is faced away from him as you still feel his touches.
You felt yourself drift off to sleep.
To your surprise, when you woke up, the sky was dark, making the room dark. A hard body was smushed to you, you couldn’t turn your head due to this. You did hear the faint and soft sound of Paul snoring. You listened and you could tell that the sleep he was getting was much needed.
You let your eyelids close again. His breathing and soft snoring let you know he wasn’t waking up any time soon.
“Good.” you thought to yourself and drifted off.
You woke with a shake this time. You blink your eyes open to the light that was turned on.
You rise up quickly and look to Paul.
“What time is it?” you ask in worried state. He’s not worried. He tells you it’s only very late into the night. The covers fall from your body as you slump with sigh of relief.
Paul reached over and pull the nape of your neck to him and you pull back to where you’re looking at him slowly open his eyes back up.
“I still have to pack.” you say and try to move but he holds you at bay.
”Look.” he says softly and jet his eyes to get you to look.
A full suitcase. You look to him as he moved closer and you place two hands on his shoulders. You rise out of bed and he watched you the entire way.
You don’t even notice your naked body at the moment as you take set the suitcase on a space on the bed as you take a peak.
There wasn’t anything that you could think of or comment on, for things that you were missing. He knew what you would’ve brought. You chuckle a bit as you saw the clothes that he packed weren’t even ugly outfits. You look at him with a twinkle in your eye.
“One day you’ll trust me.” Paul plainly comments with two arms behind his head as he watched you.
“One day you’ll be my stylist.” you joke.
He does nothing but wet his lips a bit as he lets it known he’s staring at your body, “You’d wear nothing.”
He's looking down at you with his bottom lip inward as both of your ankles are held up by only one of his hand.
Your entire body feels hot as his hips roll forward to reach all of you. Your body shakes as well as your voice. You felt achy but, he was making new places feel achy. Your ankles are now over his shoulders as he reaches new heights with you.
You both catch your breath as your body is shake your head slightly, you felt like you couldn’t move.
“How? How can you do it?” you asked in a whisper as he glanced over at you with a soft sigh, “It’s your fault.”
You nudge him while laying in your lazy spot, “My fault?”
“You’re the one who’s making me so fucking horny.” he says as he closed his eyes and pulled you close.
You lay close to him as an idea pops in your head.
“We should eat before I have to leave.” you suggest.
He kept touching you while you were trying to cook breakfast food. It was now near dawn and your time was ticking down.
He wouldn’t let you sit in your own seat. You were seated in his lap as he ate with one hand. He looked at you more than the food he put in his mouth.
You dressed slowly as he watched you. Each article of clothing that was placed on your body, his face got sadder and sadder. Fully dressed down to socks you step in between his legs as you cup his cheeks.
“I will just cancel. Screw them.” you say as he closed his eyes and still managed to pull out a small smile. He rubbed down your back with his hands as he says, “Don’t do that.”
“I will. I hate leaving you like this.” you say to him and reach to press your lips on different spots of his face.
“Come on, I don’t want you to miss your flight.” he says and his voice was thick.
You kept a hand in his as he drove. He was the one who kept conversation flowing in the car. He didn’t let silence fill the air. You were thankful for this.
The drive to the airport seemed short. As if there was not enough time. You slowly got out of the car as he gave you your suitcase.
Both of your arms wrapped tight around him and you felt tightness. You didn’t know what was wrong with you. You shuddered and felt your face get hot before he rubs your back, “Please don’t do this to me now. You’re making me feel fucked up.” he says with a chuckle.
You brush your eyes with one swipe as you join his chuckle, “I’m sorry. I’m really going to miss you.”
He dropped his head to place a lengthy kiss on your lips. Making out against the car, you held each other close.
He’s the one who pulls back, he takes a glance at your face as he doesn’t know how to feel. You feel empty as your hand is on your suitcase.
He stares back at you. He looked like he wanted to say something but he chose not to. He didn’t know if it was the right time or not. He watches you take a hand in your pocket, you give him a folded piece of paper.
“Don’t read it until you get home, okay?” you ask him. He nods. You take him in with your eyes.
“Go, Y/N. You’re going to miss your flight. Call me as soon, and I mean as soon as you land.” he says and you nod and your head is back on his warm chest.
You hated that you slept as much as you did today. You were wide awake. You envied the couples that got to excitedly chat about the new experiences they were going to have with each other. You sigh as you check your phone, something you haven’t done at all.
Bella left you two messages. Two different times.
“Hey i’m working on my scrapbook today do you want to come over?”
“I don’t know when you’re leaving but be safe!”
You type back.
“Sorry. I’m just now seeing this :/ i’m at the airport now :) thank you”
You press send.
You decide to text Paul.
“I miss you already 😞”
You watch as he is typing something back to you.
“I miss you more”
You kept rereading it.
You click in your seatbelt as the pilot announces where the flight is going. You’re glad your seat is a window seat. You were glad that you bought the cd player. You got comfortable as music drifted into your ears.
You found a small piece of charcoal in your jacket pocket and doodled for some time. Time passed and you didn’t realize that the entire cd was over and you heard the muffled sounds of your surroundings.
You rip out and over fold the picture that you created in your sketchbook and stuff it in your jacket pocket. The plane lands and you move through the airport.
As you talk to Paul, your face morphs into sadness.
“Soak in everything.” he says to you on the line.
“I will. I can’t wait to come back home already.” you say with somber. Saying your goodbyes, you type to John that you’ve arrived. Almost immediately, he sends you a location for later on to meet him at.
You agree and come out of the airport with your suitcase wheeling behind you. You don’t even process the new city air because your body freezes.
A pair of amber eyes make their debut in your eyesight.
You see a car door open as you start to frown. You see a glimpse of his sparkling teeth as he looks to the side and grins.
“We’re not spending any time together.” you say to him with your arms crossed.
“Do you have a ride?” he asks.
“I have somewhere to be.” you say and turn to walk away but a cold hand halts you.
“I can take you.” he insists calmly.
“No.” you answer dryly as you try to book a ride.
“There’s no use in spending money.” he says with a ridiculed grin.
A singular rain drop slaps you on your hand as you held your phone. You gasp and look up to the sky and see Edward with that same grin.
“Just go away. I need to focus for tonight and I’m not letting you or anyone mess it up for me.” you hiss and never taking your eyes away from him, letting him know that you’re clear. He’s not grinning anymore as he lets you finish.
“Don’t get stuck in the rain at least.” he says as his keys, that are dangling from his hand, are looking right back at you.
The light patter started to get heavier as you scowl at the sky with a huff.
"Are you cold?" he asks as the sound of windshield wipers follow after him.
"I have my jacket." you say as you stare out the window. A perfect mixture of lights and people.
You then hear and feel trickles of heat make its way onto your body, the vent in front of you blowing softly. You roll your eyes in your head.
"You don't even know what hotel I'm staying at." You state with narrowed eyes as he maneuvers his way through traffic.
"What hotel are you staying at?" he questions back as his liquid gold eyes surf the road.
You don't say anything as you realize you don't know your way around the city.
He then glanced in your direction but down, "It's fine. I know my way around."
You look to him as honks are in the background, "You read my mind this time?" you ask.
He grins and shakes his head, "No, it was just written over your face."
You look at the place he's slowing down to. You know what you came here with, this was definitely out of your reach. The architecture alone looked expensive to look at.
"Um..." you mutter as Edward gives his keys to the valet and your bag is taken through the door.
Edward speaks before you could say anything.
"I will leave you to it." he says as he stands in the hallway with you. You were outside of your door, a mobile key now in your possession.
"Not so fast. Why are you doing this?" you ask. You didn't need anyone to buy you anything.
"Alice booked your room for you. I had nothing to do with it." he says.
"You could've told me."
"Why, so you could run away?" he asks with a smirk.
You narrow your eyes at him as you close the heavy door.
After a shower, you sat with your phone in your hand and pressed on a contact name to make a phone call.
"Hello?" the high voice answers.
"Alice, I'm booking my own room." you say but she cuts you off, "No, please. It's your first time here and it has to be perfect." she says.
"Here? Wait, you're here too?" you inquire.
A knock is sharp on the door as you open it to find the petite vampire in front of your door. You're in shock as she almost knocked you over from a hug.
"So, how do you think of it so far?" she asks and you cross your arms. You look as she tried to cheer you up, "I don't want you or anybody to pay for my stay here."
"Y/N, I do anything for my friends. You will have a good time here." she says with a convincing smile and tone, she glances at the outfit that you're wearing.
"Where are you meeting him?" she asks.
You show her the location as you didn't know your way around.
"Hm. It's not too fancy." she comments as she reads the restaurant name.
You look at the time on your phone and you hear soft thud on the bed. You look to find another pair of pants that were in your suitcase, laying there.
"It would be a good idea to wear these instead." she says. You give her a look and she adds on, "You will feel comfortable. Trust me."
Sighing, you quickly change and you start to put your jacket on. She walks you out all the way to the lobby and hugs you again, "Be safe. Call me!"
You stare out the window as the driver, she also paid for, drove you to the destination. Stepping out of the car, you felt a bit nervous as you went inside.
You didn't have to wonder where John was as his table was a bit more lively than others. Tearful laughs were circling the table as you slowly walked. Wiping his eye, John sobers up and waves you over.
He shoved the man sitting next to him in the arm and point to you.
"This is Y/N." he says as if you were a huge prize. It actually made you blush and gasps went around the table.
"Oh my god. Sit down." The man, who introduces himself as Mark, turns to you. Both hands are up and he looks ahead for a second as he tells you, "I cannot believe your mind. Can I borrow it?"
This makes you relax and smile, "Take it."
"Seriously. I'm so glad you're here. How long are you going to be staying for?" he asks you with great interest.
"A week." you simply answer.
A frown is formed, "That's it?" he quickly sobers up, "Never mind. I guess its best to get things out of the way quickly."
The conversation was interesting. You both forgot about the other around the table as you both poured and splashed ideas around. You both were quite fond of one another as he was deeply into fashion. He was dying for something fresh and different and you were dying for something more challenging. His show was happening at the end of the week and he wanted to squeeze a creation by you.
"I don't know how to make clothes." you say with a laugh.
"I need you to paint a portrait of the model I'm going to use. I'm a co-editor for my friend's issue of the magazine.” he says with excitement.
As you both walk toward the exit, he gives you his personal number, telling you he will set everything up for tomorrow. He then says, "You should come with me, I'm meeting someone for a party."
The first thing you wanted to do was tell Paul everything.
"It's okay. I had a pretty long day. I flew in today." you say.
"And then what happened?" Paul asked you as he looked at you through the video call.
"He invited me out to stay out but, I'm pretty tired." you say. You see that he's not saying anything but staring, you call out to him.
"Paul?"
Not moving, he says, "Yeah?"
"What's wrong, you got quiet on me." you say with a chuckle.
"I miss you." he simply says.
"I miss you too." you say, quietly and you couldn’t believe how the simple action made you still blush.
Paul stared at the screen, he didn’t want to talk, he just wanted to look at you. Little to your knowledge, beside him, he held the corolla you gave to him some time ago. He always kept it, his fingers repeatedly traced over it as you both contently blinked at each other. You both wanted to reach out to each other through the screen.

which way - embry x reader
AN: part 1 is here enjoy part 2 :)
Your face was into a frown. You had high hopes. You wanted to show him off. You begged but the answer stayed the same. Sadness was starting to creep into your soul.
“Are you sure you can’t call off?” you ask him again through the phone, not wanting to take no for an answer.
“I can’t. I’m really sorry.” he says into the line.
“It’s okay. I can just pass your picture around, I guess.”
This makes you both chuckle, bringing light.
Hanging up with each other, you both sigh.
Embry entered Sam’s home, he was confused. Confused that Sam asked him to not come shirtless, instead to dress appropriately for the average human eye.
“What’s the occasion?” Embry asks as Emily placed snacks onto the table.
“A friend of ours is coming over. She doesn’t know about the pack yet.” Sam says.
“So, why are they coming?” Embry asks.
“She knows all of us. That’s the funny thing.” Quil says, he then placed the back of his hand on Embry’s chest quickly, “You can finally get a girlfriend.”
Embry rolls his eyes, “Would you quit it?”
“You will just see. You two would look good together.” Quil says back. Agrees float through the room as Embry is instantly annoyed.
Hearing a door close, Embry placed a potato chip in his mouth and crunched down.
”Y/N’s here!” Jacob says and Embry froze. His heart dropped below his stomach as he heard the familiar name, whipping his head around as you came in the home with a huge smile. He felt like his world was crashing down on him.
You were bombarded with hugs, making you laugh.
“One at a time.” you say as everyone tried to tug you in different directions at the same time.
“We can finally introduce you to Embry.” Leah says as she won the battle, able to hold onto your hand and leads you through the home.
“Embry?” you repeat the name.
“Yeah. You’ll like him. I promise.” she answers back.
You couldn’t speak as the familiar face was looking right back you. You both were frozen. Both looking like a deer caught in headlights.
“Um..” Leah says as she looks at you two. She wondered why you two were just standing there, gawking at each other.
You step forward closer to him with your hands slightly up, “I thought you had work?”
“I didn’t know you were friends with them.” Embry says, still not believing that this was happening.
You shake your head and just leave the room. You regret coming. You thought you two were going so good but, he was already lying to you. This action stabbed you like a knife, you never thought the blow would come from him.
Embry does follow after you, trying to stop you from leaving.
“You didn’t have to lie to me. Just tell me that you’re ashamed of me.” you say as you’re outside with tears prickling your eyes. You didn’t let him get a word in. You were deeply hurt.
Embry sighs, not annoyed but he knew it looked so bad.
“There’s a lot to explain.” he says as he tries to rack his brain to show him the best way to explain it all without freaking you out. He wished it didn’t come down to this.
“Well, save it. I’m not interested in hearing it.” you say as your throat is closing up.
He wasn’t going to let you leave. He knew you were going to try to avoid him if he let you.
“Come on, just hear me out. If you still feel the way that you feel, I will leave you alone, I swear.” He says moving close to you, “Come on, Y/N.” he says again as your arms are crossed and you’re avoiding eye contact.
You follow him quietly to the beach, sitting on a large rock. You both are silent until you rudely tell them, “So, explain.”
He doesn’t take it to heart. He understands how you feel.
That’s when he let it all out. It felt like he was cleaning his insides out. He no longer had to carry the secret of shapeshifting, his “work” of actually protecting people of the danger that lurked to everyone’s oblivion, and how he never wanted you to be involved in it. Not because he was ashamed, but because of how dangerous the life was. He missed the life he had before devoting his life to being a shifter, you were his outlet. You reminded him that the supernatural world wasn’t his entire world.
You were silent as you processed everything. You felt sad.
“You didn’t have to hide this.”
“I did. I would’ve scared you away. I really want us to be end game.” he says as he interlaced his fingers with yours.
“No more secrets. Okay?” you say to him. He nods and agrees to this.
“I see they tried to hook us up all along.” you say with a grin. He grins as well as he shakes his head at their behavior. He should’ve known.
“So, now you have to tell me how you met all of them.” he says and this makes you laugh.
“It’s a long story.” you say.
“I have time.” he says, his words coated in double meaning. He soaked in the moment, happy that you didn’t run away or push him away. You instead smiled as you debrief each encounter with each unique individual pack member.

Her brother excitedly talking went over Leah’s head. She always heard the name Y/N, but never seen here.
Apparently, she’s coming to the bonfire.
Leah didn’t care too much for them, especially this one. She just wanted to count down the time she was there and go home.
Sitting on the fallen log near the fire, she waited with the elders for everyone to get settled down. She sighed without any interest.
She hears in a distance, gravel being rolled on. Looking around, the only person that wasn’t there was Jacob.
“I think she’s here!” Seth exclaims as he joined Leah on the log with a burger.
She shakes her head slightly at her brother’s overjoyed emotion.
She hears two sets of footsteps make their way to the beach.
Seth gets up to greet both you and Jacob after he swallowed his burger, started horsing around with Jacob, you let your eyes wander.
Seeing the scenery of the beach, your eyes go to a young woman sitting on the log, looking right at you. You froze at her beauty. Her cheekbones shining bright along the light of the fire. Her gaze is intense but, you wish she could look at you like that all of the time. You watch as the girl gets up and walk away from the spot she was sitting.
You seen her around, but people told you to stay out of her way. She was majestic, carried herself with a tolerance of nothing. You admired her from a far.
Leah tried her best to keep her cool. Her heart was pounding and she felt very nervous. She was in shock, she felt a wave of euphoria just by looking at you. She needed a second the compose herself. The feeling was foreign and she’d never felt this way about someone before, not even Sam.
Sam was forgotten, buried back deep in her head. You were now the forefront, looking away from you felt so wrong.
“Did I just imprint?” she kept asking herself as she walked further along the beach.
She needed air and she felt too trapped from where she was sitting.
“Leah!” a voice calls out.
She closes her eyes as she turns around.
“Where are you going? The stories are about to start.” Embry asks as he walks closer. Leah takes steps back.
“I need to phase.” she says shaking her head.
“What? Come on, Leah.” Embry says to get her back to the scenery.
“I..Can’t.” she says, her face forming into hesitation.
Embry takes a look at his pack sister, he’s never seen her this antsy or nervous before. She usually kept a tough front, he began to get worried.
“Leah, what’s wrong?”
Leah shakes her head, “Don’t say anything.”
“I won’t.” he promises.
“I think…I imprinted.” she says but whispers out the last part.
Embry’s eyes go big from disbelief before turning kind, he smiles, “Wow, I’m happy for you.”
Before Leah could explain her rebuke of it, two more figures come to where her and Embry are standing.
“Wait, you imprinted?” Jared asks with a curious Seth right next to him.
“Great, tell the whole world.” she says while rolling her eyes.
“That’s great!” Seth says.
“Any of you say a word, I will kill you.” she says before storming off.
That night was hard. You kept searching the beach to see if you could find the perfect face. You didn’t know why you were disappointed but, you just were.
As the night progressed, neither of you could sleep. Tossing and turning, you both rubbed a spot in your chest, trying to massage the sharp pain away.
It went on like that for a while. You spent a lot of time in La Push, feeling a pull to the place. You’ve spent your time here again and again whenever your sister or father would visit the Black family, but it felt necessary.
Leah rolled her eyes again once Sam found out. Her arms were crossed as he sat her down and explained to her, “Leah, you can’t just push it away. Just go talk to her.”
“I will talk to her…I just don’t know when.” Leah says.
“I know it’s causing both of you pain.” he says.
Leah placed two hands on the table as she rises up.
“Stay out of it.” she hisses to him and lets the door slap to a close.
With Jacob gone from his garage, you still stayed in La Push. Embry was closing his door behind him as he started to make his way somewhere.
“I’m going to Emily’s? Wanna come.” he asks.
You agree and you both fall into conversation.
“You look like you haven’t been getting rest. Are you alright?” he asks and you look to see him watching your face.
“I’m alright. It’s weird though. I’ve been getting this weird pain in my chest, it makes it kinda hard to fall asleep.” you admit but, you pass it off as something that will eventually fade away.
Embry doesn’t say anything, keeping his eyes in front of him as his mind starts to travel a mile a minute.
You nudge him a bit, “Are you alright.” you ask with a smile, he went quiet on you.
“I’m alright.” he says but you can tell when he’s lying.
“Yeah, right.” you say laughing.
He shrugs and freezes once the view of Emily’s home is there. He hears the conversation.
“Wait, Y/N.” he says but you don’t listen, still reaching for the door.
“Leah won’t accept the imprint. It will make it easier for both her and Y/N.”
Your eyebrows are knitted in confusion as you move further into the home.
All eyes look to you, but you speak up.
“What’s an imprint?” you ask.
You watch as the eyes flicker with nervousness as they all mumble and mutter.
“That’s what you get for opening your fat ass mouth.” Paul says as Jared looks the most sheepish.
“Leah should explain it to you.”
“Isn’t that what Sam and Emily have? And what you and…” you trail off as you start to piece everything together.
Leah stalks into the home, freezes when she finds you live in the flesh.
“Hi.” you say to her with a smile. Her stomach does jumping jacks as she whispers out a “Hey.”
“Can we talk?” you ask her.
Leah flashes them all looks of anger, malice, and cruelty. She changed her face as she looked at yours and gave you a smile smile, “Sure.”
You both walk, letting the dirt smush underneath you both.
“Do you not like me…or something?” you ask small and nervously.
“Why would you think that?” Leah asks in confusion.
“You didn’t want to accept the imprint. I mean, I totally get it.” you say in a light tone but deep down you were hurt. You hear her sigh as the walk slows down as you two face each other.
“I…Didn’t want to pop out with it, you know?” she says before looking down, “I want it to be natural. I didn’t want to rush you into things just because I imprinted on you.”
You place a supportive hand on her arm, “I wish you kind of did.”
Leah looks at you in astonishment.
“I had a crush on you for a very long time.” you say with a chuckle and you watch her face go to disbelief.
“You did?” she questions and you nod.
“You’re so beautiful. You don’t have to hide anything from me.” you say softly to her. Leah closes her eyes before admitting, “I wanted to accept it. I didn’t know what I would want this relationship to be. I promise I was going to talk to you. Just, when I figured things out.”
“Can we… Figure things out together?” you ask with hope.
You watch as she slowly opens her eyes and look at you. You smile as she’s looking at you with the intense eyes that you liked so much. She nods as she lets you lead her back to Emily’s home.

Hi hunny!!! Could u do one where even tho reader and embry are dating she still has eyes for Paul (you could include Rachel being his imprint or not)
heyy sure I feel like stirring the pot with this one haha hope you enjoy :)
freedun - embry x reader
He was cute. That's what you liked about him. He was nice. That's what you liked about him. He was caring and thoughtful and you liked spending time with him.
Things were nice and slow. You just didn't know how to speed things up. A giggle makes you look over. Rachel was laughing at something Paul was whispering in her ear.
You frowned a bit before fixing your face and looked away.
You start to feel a wave of something foreign. You wondered what he said to get that reaction from her. Shaking your head a bit, you get up from the sofa and go into the kitchen.
A cup was in his hand as he talked to Jacob. You hug him from behind as pauses his conversation. Happy to see you, he doesn't care that eyes are around to see the kiss that you two shared.
All sitting at the table for dinner, you sat next to Embry. However, the other person next to you is Paul. Rachel is sitting next to him.
You try to keep your conversation to just Embry, but he tried the best that he could. He was in a passionate conversation with Jared, once bets started flying around, you gave up. Opting for silence, you pick up a cup and take a sip.
You hear chuckling as you look over to see Paul with an amused expression. Setting the cup down, you wrinkle your eyebrows, "What?"
"That was my cup." He laughs again and you slide it closer to him as you see that you cup never left your spot.
"Oh God." you say and wipe your mouth.
He takes the cup and smirks, "Relax, I'm clean."
You watch him take a sip and subtly lick his lips before jumping into a conversation with Sam.
You kept your eyes on your food then, you didn't like the pit that formed in your stomach.
You giggled as Embry was pulling you in over and over again to place an affectionate kiss upon you. You were about to unlock your door and he had to get one more kiss in.
“I will see you tomorrow?” he asked excitedly.
“I will see you tomorrow.” you confirm.
You did see him tomorrow. It wasn't a packed house. Only Paul came over as you and Embry ate sandwiches.
"Hey." you say to him, Paul just nods a response to both you and Embry, his eyebrows knitted together. He goes into the living room. You look at Embry and he just shrugs.
You were finished and go into the same room he was in. He was sitting on the couch without a shirt, his elbows resting behind him on the back of the couch, his legs spread apart as he watched the TV without interest. The look on his face showed he's upset about something.
"Do you want a sandwich or something?" you ask him. He shakes his head and you turn to leave out but he calls your name. You answer him.
A sly smile grows on his face, "Pour me something to drink?"
Your face goes into a small scowl, "Go do it yourself."
He rises up and gets close to your face as he walks past you, "Never want to do anything for me."
You roll your eyes but your eyes never leave his back as he leaves the room and goes into the kitchen.
He and Embry soon get into their own conversation. The tv was low as you tried to look for something to watch, you were able to hear a bit as Paul's voice goes low.
"She didn't come." he says. Embry catches why. You could only hear the low rumble of his voice as Paul explains why, you couldn't make out the words.
Embry soon joins you as he wraps an arm around you. You both watch the random movie you put on. His eyes droop a bit and you snuggle close to him so he could feel comfortable.
Soon, he's softly snoring, you knew it was because of the long hours of patrol that he had to do.
Having to use the bathroom, you make your way down the hallway but something catches your attention. A grunt as you slowly walked closer the cracked door of the bathroom.
Your eyes grow big as you see a moving figure.
Your brain registers the rapid motion of the figure, pumping himself as he stands in front of the mirror groaning quietly.
You hurry up and turn on your heels and fly into the living room to have a seat right back next to Embry. Your heart is pounding as you replay what you saw. You tried to shake it out of your head but it was too vivid. Embry jolts awake a bit as he tries to find you with his hand, he wanted you to snuggle with him.
“Where’d you go?” Embry asks with drowsiness.
“Um…The bathroom but I think someone’s in there.” you say.
“Oh.” he says with a small tired smile.
Just then, Paul walks in and steals the remote. He exits out of the movie that was playing.
“Y/N was watching that.” Embry says as he watched Paul turn something else on.
“She can watch something else.” Paul answers.
Embry rolls his eyes with annoyance and turns to you.
“Wanna leave?” he asks you. You actually consider but before you could speak your answer, “Quit being dramatic.” Paul says.
“Well I’m leaving.” Embry says as he gets up to stretch, “I’m so tired. I’m sorry, Y/N.”
“It’s fine. I will walk you outside.” you say and slowly rise up.
Giggles erupt from your throat as he persuades you to leave with him.
“You can sleep in my bed.” he says with a smile.
You playfully pout as you lean your body into his, “I’m not tired.”
He rubs your back as his cheek lays on the top of your head.
You go back inside and the door closes behind you. You didn’t go into the living room immediately, you aim for the bathroom to relieve your bladder.
As you stood at the sink, your mind goes back to what you saw. You stood in the same place as him and you didn’t know how to feel about that as you looked into the mirror.
You dry your wet hands and open the bathroom door and you were startled.
Paul smirks at your reaction as your heart beats in your chest.
“What are you so jumpy for?” he asks.
You stutter out a response. He copies your gibberish and ends with, “What?”
You shake your head and move past him as he laughs at you.
“I’m going to head home too.” you say as you walk towards where your jacket is hanging up.
“Why?” he asks, genuinely confused.
You shrug. “Where’s Rachel?”
He goes silent as his face goes a bit stiff, “She’s off doing her own thing.”
Your face goes into concern, “Are you guys okay?”
He shrugs as he looks to the side, “I don’t even know anymore.”
He leaves it at that as he goes back into the living room. You felt a bit bad. Sitting next to him on the couch, you still see that his face didn’t soften up.
“Turn that frown upside down.” you joke, the joke lightens up the mood as he tries to fight a smile but he ends up losing.
You take the remote from where he had it. You browse through the options but it’s smoothly out of your fingers.
“Give it back.” you demand and he waved you off, “I had it first.”
You snatch it back, “No. I had it first.” you correct.
He snatched it back and you reach, he’s raising his arm to where you can’t reach.
“Paul, quit it!” you say as he’s using his fast reflexes to make sure you don’t even come close to reaching the remote thats in his hand.
“What am I doing?” he asks as you groan at him trying to play dumb.
“Being annoying.” you answer back. His fingers don’t have the remote anymore as he lets you take it but his fingers poke your neck. Your neck folds as you were very ticklish there, with your weak state, he takes it right back out of your hand.
You playful smack his arm. He uses the palm of his hand to smush the side of your face to his chest gently. You lift your head and glare at him but he’s snickering at your reaction.
The door closes and you hear Emily’s voice. You rise up to greet both Sam and Emily.
“Hey, did you have a good time?” you ask them.
“Yeah. We did.” Sam says with a sappy smile as he stared down at Emily. She gazed right back up at him.
You took it your cue to slide on your jacket. Sam and Emily move down the hallway to go to their bedroom, talking about how they love how they were able to have a date night for the first time in a long time.
“You’re leaving?”
You look to see Paul staring at you, he’s leaning in the door frame with his arms crossed.
You nod.
“Give me a hug.” he says as you zip up your jacket.
You look at him, he never asked you for a hug before. Your heart starts to speed up as his arms snake around your waist and force you in a hug. You eventually raise your arms to place your hands on his back. You pat it a little as he moves back. He gives you a look. You look away.
You close the door behind you and you breath out the air that you didn’t even know you were holding in. The warm pit of your stomach reminded you just that.

Love you !!!! A Paul x reader when Paul imprinted on older lady who is also his neighbor. How does he get her attention
<33 u more ! hope you enjoy :)
door - paul x reader
Sitting on the window sill, things didn’t go unnoticed. At least for him. He sat as he watched the moving truck that was in front of the house that he knew was empty for some time.
He watched the figure talk on a phone as movers brought items and boxes into the place the woman could call home.
He watched as you looked around your new neighborhood. Your eyes lock with his for a moment before you turn to follow the movers into your new home.
The following day, the morning was a slight drizzle. Paul slowly walked out of his home to get ready for patrol.
The clack of high heels hitting the concrete made his eyes snap up as he watched the woman, dressed in sophistication, walk toward her car. Your leg muscles stuck out as each step was taken.
The unlocking noise is followed as you then hurried into your car, not wanting to get droplet of water on yourself.
Paul thought it was a nice car. He did his rounds of patrolling. However, he kept you in mind when he pulled his shorts on.
He definitely knew you were someone who had their stuff together. The childish games that he had to deal with from girls were uninteresting to him.
Pushing the door open to Emily’s, she pulls out a fresh hot baked treats out of the oven. An idea pops into Paul’s smart brain.
“Emily, you mind if I borrow your glass dish?” he asks after he cleaned the entire kitchen for her. Crumbs were everywhere as the other guys munched on what Emily baked.
He raised a small glass dish.
“Sure. But, what are you using it for?” she asks as she knew Paul didn’t do alot of cooking, he mostly came over to eat.
“I want to give someone something.” he says as he eyed the leftover treats.
Emily forms a crinkle in her eye as she helped him fill it up.
“It’s for my neighbor.” Paul stated as he had the filled glass dish in his hand as he had the other hand on her front door.
“I see.” Emily says with a small smile and then goes on to say, “I better see that dish again.”
Paul smiles gratefully but says, “Don’t worry. I’ll bring it back.”
Paul sat in his usual spot on the window sill as he saw your car slowly park into your driveway.
Getting out, you looked tired and had a long exhausting day. Finally glad to be home, you made your way inside.
Paul then took it as his chance to knock on your door. You groan from your spot on the couch. You finally got comfortable.
Opening the door, expecting it to be a salesperson, you froze as you saw a handsome young face staring back you. Your eyes then zeroed in on the glass dish that was in his large hand.
“I live across the street.” He says and you smile as you seen him before.
“Oh that’s right. How are you doing?” you ask politely.
“I’m good. I’m Paul.” he says and you introduce yourself back and suddenly your cradling the dish that he brought to you. You eye at it as it looks delicious.
“You made these?” you ask impressed.
A hand goes behind his neck as he scratched a bit, “A friend of mine did. I’m not a pro at baking just yet.” he admits and you laugh, “I love baking. It’s not hard once you get the hand of it. Thank you.” you say.
“So, you gonna teach me?” he asks and you look down at the dish and back up to him as a hot blush burns across your face.
“Um..Sure.” you say nervously.
“Just knock on my door when you need to get me.” he says.
You watched him the entire way. You watch the muscles on his body stick out as he moves his body towards his home, right across the street from yours. You watch the smirk form on his face as he sees that you’re still standing there watching him close his front door behind him.

I feel like embry a type is someone so sweet cute clothes but a freaky one
cute cute okay hope you enjoy :) next part
which way - embry x reader
Two figures were basking in the afternoon day. The window was wide open, the soft breeze flow through. The conversation was light and a bit hushed.
You both lie on your bed as you lay on your side with your head resting your head up, your other hand was close to him.
He lay mirrored to your position. One elbow supported his upper body, his other hand was close to you.
You reach and wipe a small tear, flicking it elsewhere as you then ask with a smile, “And then what happened?”
Softly chuckling, he then speaks out, “We both ended up falling.” He shakes his head at the memory.
“Poor baby. I would’ve protected you had you been there.” you joke and say and earn a laugh from him.
Embry was finished telling the story how he went ice skating with his friends. One of his friends grabbed onto him while they were falling. You were entrapped in his storytelling. He did a good job of making you feel like you were in it.
“Next time, it will just be us.” Embry declares but reaches his close hand to cover yours. As he smooths out the skin of your hand, you tell reveal to him, “I would like to meet your friends.”
Embry blinks.
He started to get a bit antsy and you rub his arm, soothing him and sensing his nervousness.
“I don’t think it’s really necessary, really.” Embry says.
“Come on. You tell me stories like that and I don’t get to meet these guys?” you ask while a chuckle bubbles from your throat as your brain went back to imagining how the clumsy catastrophe he told you, would look like.
“Yeah, but…” Embry says and looks at you and shrug. You then decided to let the conversation flow into another direction.
Leaving his home, you forgot that you need some toothpaste. Looking through the different selection, you hear a woman voice.
“Your shoes are cute!”
You turn around and see a short haired woman staring back at you. A soft smile is on her face as she looks down then back at you.
“Oh. Thanks.” You say politely with your own small smile.
You then look at her.
“Your shirt is cute.” you tell her back and she smiles and says, “Thank you.”
“Where did you get it from?” you ask as you now had the toothpaste you wanted in your hand. She tells you as you both walk toward the checkout line.
“I love that place.” you comment and she nods and smiles, “We should go together.”
Your smile turns bigger.
“I would love that.”
Exchanging phone numbers, you two go on each other’s way.
You two did follow with each other’s plans. You both met up with each other that following weekend as Embry told you he had work.
You and Leah did mostly window shopping but it was nice to get to know each other better. The conversations flowed as you two bounced comedically off one another.
“I have a friend. He’s single.” Leah tells you as you both bite into a snack.
This makes you chuckle lightly, “Really? Already trying to hook me up with someone?”
Leah shrugs with a smile.
Leah comes back and entered Sam and Emily’s home. A smile on her face made people ask her, “Where did you come from?”
“Just got back from a day out. I met this girl and Embry I swear she’s your type to a T.” Leah says as she sees Embry sitting at the table.
“What do you mean my type?” Embry inquired.
“I’m telling you, you guys would look perfect together.” Leah says as she also haves a seat.
Embry shakes his head with a grin, “You are something else.”
You saw him the following day. You both shared a grin and before you both could speak, you both laugh. That’s what you both loved about each other. No words could be said and one look could make each other laugh.
“What did you do yesterday?” Embry asks as he traced his finger in your hand. He held it out as he watched. You watched as well.
“Went shopping with a friend. She tried hooking me up with someone.” you say and you playfully roll your eyes.
He laughs, “My friend tried to hook me up too.” You share a laugh with him.
“Nobody’s taking you away from me.” you say and lean forward to place a kiss on his nose.
“And nobody’s taking you away from me.” Embry declares as his lips pressed to your lips.
You thought it would a small light peck but, the strength of his body weight fluidly pushed your body back onto his soft bed.
You smile into the kiss as your body jolted with excitement. Everytime you got excited, Embry got even more excited. His hand shook as your legs were in the air as he hastily pulled your pantries off. You sit up and he’s already naked and grabs your hand as he stares you. You’re pumping him and watching him grow. A deep pit fills your stomach as hes grunting and unashamedly using his fingers to leave goosebumps on your skin. He sits up and pulls you close to him. You’re both sitting in front of each other and you scoot in to place your legs on each side of his body. The excitement alone in his eyes created noises from you. He’s sleeking himself along your wet moist center as you two grind and fall into intoxicated kisses. You loved how he held you close and pulled your hair back with one big hand, exposing your neck up to him. He always took advantage as he slammed you up and down on him. His hand was gripping all of you as you grip onto him back. You just loved spending time with him.
Sitting on the bench, you decided to just bring a comic book that Embry let you borrow to read as the day wasn’t so bad with weather.
“Where did you get that from?”
You hear a male voice and look over to see a set of eyes staring at you. You turn to see if maybe he’s talking to anybody else but you don’t have long to question because the voice speaks again as they read the cover with clear diction but it was filled with humor that made you smile a bit.
“There’s only one other person I know who reads that.” They say as they now sit on the bench.
“You don’t like it?” you ask since he gave a disbelief look while shaking his head.
“Let’s just say it caused a lot of arguments.” They say as they look off and you laugh.
He introduces himself and they ask what you think about it.
“I don’t know it’s pretty cool. The plot makes sense so and it’s not too destructive. Hopefully no one dies.” you say as you held it up slightly.
“You sound just like him.” They laugh as they point a bit.
You capture the finger with your hand and tell them it’s not funny.
“Quil, I’m not interested in your little friend. You just reminded me to head home.”
You say but he jumps up and says, “Or..” he drags out with a smirk and you just stare at him, “We could go to the comic store.” He says and you roll your eyes hard but you agree.
You enjoyed the banter between you two. It felt natural and easy and you both agreed to hang out again soon. You don’t say goodbye because he begs one more time to let him introduce you to a friend of his.
Embry knocks on Quil’s door to remind him to know it’s his turn for patrol. Quil opens it and soon they fall into the conversation of what Quil did earlier.
“The same exact comic book.” Quil says and Embry looks uninterested.
“Dude, i’ve never seen a girl with that. This girl has to be your soulmate. I’m hooking you two up.” Quil continued and Embry waved him off.
“You’re missing out.” Quil says, eyeing his friend that wouldn’t take the bait.
“I’m not missing much. Trust me.” Embry says as he closed his eyes while he laughed.
Embry was supposed to grab a bite with Jacob. You were hungry and decided to drop by to treat your hunger pain.
Jacob was midway done with his food as you walked into the food place. You eyed the menu as he overheard you order.
When you were done, you then typed to Embry that he should meet you at the same place that you’re eating at.
Jacob received the news from Embry that he had a change of plans, Jacob didn’t care. He ate already. He gets up and makes a comment to you as he throws his trash away.
“You order like someone I know.” He just says and you take a look at him.
“Is that a bad thing or a good thing?” you ask with a nervous chuckle.
He takes a pause as he takes a moment, not long, to think, “It’s a him thing.” he decides.
“Your friend has good taste.” you say with unserious humor coating your tone.
He takes a look at you before saying, “You’re his taste, actually.”
You roll your eyes, “Yeah, I get that alot.” you say. You remember the hookups of people trying to get with you and their friend.
“Im so serious. I have to introduce you two, you both would hit it off.” he says.
“I don’t even know you. So, I definitely don’t want to get to know your friend.” you say and he introduces himself.
“Jacob, I still don’t want your friend.” you say and laugh.
“Be my friend. At least.” Jacob says. He thinks it’s easier to introduce you two.
“We have nothing in common.” you comment.
Jacob’s eyes look around the restaurant.
“Uh..Yeah, we do.”
“Good point.” you say.
Jacob walks back in the direction he came from when he sees a familiar face.
“I swear she ordered the exact same way.” Jacob says as he walked with Embry back to the place he left from.
“Oh, yeah?” Embry asks, not really listening. He was looking forward to sitting down with you.
“She was just here, I swear.” Jacob says as he looked around. Embry just clasps his shoulder, “Better luck next time.”
Jacob walks away confused and you come out of the bathroom.
“Hey, I ordered for both of us.” you say as you held him close to you as you greet him.
He placed a sweat heart kiss on your cheek as he smiled, “Thanks.”
You both sit and eat as you two talk.
“I was supposed to meet a friend but I’d rather hang with you.” Embry admits.
“Wow.” you say laughing.
Wanting to get home before the rain, you kiss him a farewell. He watched you leave until he couldn’t see your figure anymore.
With a reminder, you remember to return a package. Trying to open the big glass door, you try to hold tight of the big package as well.
The door soon opens with ease as a large hand graced the top of the door, holding it open.
“Thank you.” you say.
“Jeez what are you bringing back?” they ask and the bluntness makes you laugh.
“Something that I bought off of impulse.” you simply say and they ask a question, “What?”
“A gaming console.” you say and sigh as you look at the item you barely touched. The money
They laugh, “You remind me of someone I know.”
“Really? Well, I hope they were a good person.” you say as you wait in line.
“Yeah, he’s a pretty good guy.” they say and then take a look at you and asks for your name and introduces themselves.
“Anyways, I can definitely see you two together.” he says.
“Not interested, Paul.” you say as you look about.
“You don’t even know what the guy look like.” Paul says with a smile.
“I’m sure he’s nothing I’ve seen before.” you smoothly replied with and place the package on the counter.
Paul pressed the buttons on the controller as Embry is focused on the tv.
“I’m telling you there’s fish in the sea. Met a girl and she’s right up your alley.” Paul says.
Embry moves his character on the screen and says, “Is that so?” he boredly asks.
“Come on, don’t be like that. She was cute.” Paul says.
Embry sighs without interest, “You think every girl is cute.”
“Not true.” Paul says and with that, defeats Embry’s character.
You pushed your cart through the store as you let your eyes look for the thing that you needed. Opening the large freezer door, you reach with your fingertips to capture the cold beverage but it was too high.
You go to stand on your tippy toes until a hand plucks it from the spot before your eyes.
You smile at them and reply with, “Thanks.”
“No problem. Ugh, not you too!” they say as they look at the label.
The humor in the exclaim makes you laugh, “What? You don’t like this one?” you ask.
“It’s overrated.” They reply and you ask him, “Alright then. What’s your favorite…?” you ask and he fills in the blank.
“Jared. And I like…this one.” he replies and picks up his claim.
You both walk out of the store as you held your bag in one hand. You press your drink to Jared’s bottle and he says, “Cheers.” You both take a sip.
“You said you too. Who’s the other person who likes this.” you ask.
“Just a friend of mine…You both act similar, that’s so funny.” he says.
“Really?” you say. He nods.
“I have to get you guys to meet someday.” he says. You pay this no mind.
You finally meet up with Embry as he takes the half drunken bottle from your fingers. He greets you with a kiss and then looks at the flavored beverage.
“Can I have the rest of this?” he asks you.
“Of course.” you reply and grab his hand as he downs the drink.
You watch the two figures figure out the game. The wind blew softly and coldly, but it still felt good. Sitting on the rock, you were waiting for Embry.
The ball flew over to you and luckily you were paying attention, you catch it.
“Sorry! Nice catch!” The voice says. You smile and tell them thanks.
“Come on, play with me.” they say with a smile .
“I don’t play with strangers.” you say. They tell you their name.
“Seth, you’re not beating me.” you tell him with a wicked smile as you get up to join his game.
“I did beat someone older than me before. You should meet him.” he says.
“Ha. Ha.” you say dryly.
Seth laughs, “Yeah, you two would get along great.”
The game was very friendly with a touch of competitiveness.
“Don’t be a sore loser.” you say while smiling.
“Oh, hush.” Seth says in a playful tone, before glancing at his phone.
“Shoot, gotta go. You come here to this beach a lot?” he asks you. You nod.
“Later!” he says and jets off. His mother wants him home for dinner.
Embry brushed up the broken light bulb glass. He throws the debris and the rest of it into the trash can.
“I’ll be back. I’ll just grab one from the hardware store.” you tell him.
“Alright.” he replies.
Your eyes search for them, but you don’t see them. You then take your eyes to look for a cashier or a store worker.
A tall man is in your view and you decide to ask him since he was looking at something complicated.
“Hi, do you know where they keep the lightbulbs? I don’t see any workers around.” you say.
“They’re all chatting in the back.” he says with a chuckle and you join in, “They’re right over there.” he directs and you thank him.
You both check out at the same time.
“What is that for?” you ask him of his item he bought.
“It’s for a furnace.” he answers back.
“Nice. And here I’m replacing a broken light bulb.” you say and he chuckles.
“I remember when I had one.” he says as he remembers.
“Oh, yeah? What happened?” you ask as you both join the counter.
He tells you the story of his friend who swung his long arms too hard while dancing and it shattered at his feet. You both share laughs.
“Do you have parties often?” you ask as you both walk out.
“They’re not parties, really. Just get togethers. You should come. I can introduce you to someone you would like.” he says.
“I could use some friends.” you say with a smile. You emphasize the word friends. You were interested in getting to know someone when Embry was the one who made you the most happiest person in world.

Reader x Seth
Reader has always been sacred of wolves due to an incident that happened so when Seth shows her his wolf she’s so scared ran from him. He’s crushed so Leah comes over and reminds her Seth wouldn’t hurt a fly
oki doki ! hope you enjoy :)
save me - seth x reader
The small black square was safe in your hands. The view was worth it. Traveling to Alaska made you open your mind up to the nature and the wildlife.
Snaps of the camera flashed as the picture was captured. You looked at the captures as you walked back to the car that was close.
Another snap catches your attention. It wasn’t from a camera. It was from a tree branch. You slowly look over and see a wolf, locking its eye contact with you. Slowly growling, raising its lips to show off its powerful and sharp canines.
Your heart thuds almost out of your chest. You thought it was going to fall out and flop right in front of your feet.
You look away and you heard the gallops of their huge paws right on your trail. Locking its teeth on your backpack, you scream. Your body shakes in fear as you slide out of your backpack, letting the wolf to just keep it. You just wanted to stay alive.
The wolf slowed down as it looked at the backpack and back at you. You open your car door and somehow, you screech your car’s tires in the other direction. Your heavy breathing is filled in the small car as you drive away. You look to the passenger seat as you realized you never dropped your camera. That’s when the sigh of relief comes.
Coming back home to La Push, you were excited to see your boyfriend. It’s been a long week away but you were excited and as he.
The first person was him. That was the first person you’ve seen when you got back.
“So tell me, what did you see?” he asked as his arm was around your shoulders. He never let his hands leave yours as he guided you through his home.
“I saw a lot. I captured some things too. It’s beautiful out there.” you mused.
You and Seth sat on the couch as you handed him your camera. He clicks through the pictures that you have taken while you were away.
A smile is on his face as he is wowed.
“These are really good!” he exclaims and then he proceeds onto the next pictures.
The same picture that you have taken, right before the wolf made its debut. Your heart thumps at the thought, but Seth thought you were nervous because of the excitement of seeing him. He gives you a blinding smile.
That was the last time you seen him. For a while. Phone calls were going straight to voicemail, texts were being unread, and your heart was cracking.
You just didn’t understand it. Things were good. You were sure of it.
As you printed out your pictures, a knock on your front door surprised you. You weren’t expecting any company.
Opening the door, your entire body froze as you glanced at the boy who went M.I.A.
“Seth, what the hell?” you say and hug him tight.
“I’m sorry, Y/N.” Seth says apologetically.
You take a step back. The boy has grown taller and looks bigger and stronger. You felt a blush float across your cheeks. He takes a hand in yours and you sigh in happiness at the warmth.
“You’re so warm.” you comment as you eyed him carefully.
“Sorry.” he says sheepishly but you shake your head, “No, it’s okay. I..like it.” you say with a small smile.
“I will tell you why….Ive been away.” Seth says as you both walk. You look at him, “You can tell me anything.” you reassure him. You squeeze his hand a bit for support.
You watch as his shoulders deflate due to relaxation.
“Okay.” he says with a soft smile.
In the woods, his hand leaves yours. You watch him as he takes steps forward.
“Is everything alright?” you ask him. He nods but gives you a look that doesn’t ease your worries.
“Just please don’t run. Okay?” he instructs.
You nod but slowly.
“Just close your eyes.” he says softly.
You slowly close your eyes. Hearing snaps and crackles, you breathe in a sharp breath.
You open them and see a wolf. Your body locks with fear as you examine it. You scream bloody murder, “Seth!”
Whipping around, you ran as fast as you could. Seth tried his best to phase back in time but you were already booking it home.
You sat on your bed with your door locked. Your knees were to your chest as you gently rocked back and forth. You couldn’t believe you were in the same situation twice. The strong heartbeat never leave your ears.
Seth called, Seth tried to visit, but was met with no answer.
Leah noticed the down side of her brother’s personality. He left the home speaking about how he was finally going to see you.
“What’s with the screwed face?” Leah asks as he barely touched his food that she prepared for both him and herself.
“Nothing.” he mutters.
“No, something’s wrong. Just tell me”. Leah says. To her, he was a horrible liar.
He sighs a bit, “I showed Y/N my wolf.”
“Okay? That’s good right?” Leah asks.
“No. It’s not good!” Seth says.
“Seth, what happened?” Leah asks.
He sighs again before revealing, “I showed her my wolf and…She ran. Now, she’s avoiding me..She probably thinks I’m a freak now. It’s over for us.” he finished with defeat.
“No. That’s not true.” Leah says but her brother wasn’t trying to hear it.
Seth feels frustrated and gets up from the table.
Leah stared at his empty seat and decides to take matter into her own hands.
She rapped at the door with her knuckles. She made sure the knocks were loud and clear. You slowly open the door and Leah pushes herself into your home.
“Y/N, what’s going on?” Leah asks.
You look down. You shrug.
“A wolf.” You just say with shakes.
“Yes, Seth is a wolf. And?” Leah concluded.
“And I was almost killed by one..” you say, tears start to form as you remembered the interactions you had. The wolf you seen in Alaska was much smaller than the one that Seth morphed into.
“Y/N, one thing about Seth is that he’s not going to hurt you. I promise. He wouldn’t hurt a fly.” Leah says.
You blink down at the floor.
“Y/N.” Leah calls your name to get you to look at her.
“That’s the last thing he would do. Hurt you.” Leah says.
You sigh as you started to feel bad. You follow her back to the home that her and Seth resides in.
Leah knocked on the bedroom door. It was locked and she knew for a fact that he was having a sulking session.
“Go away!”
“Come on, don’t be a girl. Y/N is here.” Leah says through the door.
Silence was met as you give Leah a nervous look but she just rubs your back.
The door slowly opens to reveal the face that belonged to your heart.
Without saying anything, you both move forward and embrace each other. Holding each other, Leah took it to be her cue to leave.
Seth swayed you in his arms.
“I missed you.” he finally whispers.
“I missed you too.” you whisper back and you both see eye to eye.
Sitting on his bed, he rest a hand on your knee.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. My intent wasn’t to scare you. I wanted to show you all of me.” he says.
You place a hand on his cheek as you shake your head, mostly due to shame.
“No. I’m sorry. You told me not to run. I ran…” you sigh before continuing, “When I saw your wolf it just brought back to when I encountered a wild wolf in Alaska.”
“I would never hurt you. I wish you would’ve told me.” he says with passion.
He slides a hand into yours and you close it, bringing both you two’s fingers together. A smile is matched on both of your faces as you both take in each other. You know that the meaning behind is words were true.

Would you take a transman!Jacob Black x Alice Cullen cuddling on the beach, request? Im deep in the trenches for this ship and jrjsjwkjwj
hello ! oh wow that really means a lot i really appreciate it 💜 yes would love to do this hope you enjoy :)
snow on the beach - transman jacob black x alice cullen
Since the beginning, it was always her. He knew it when the judgements didn’t come. Those close to him didn’t display the loyalty that Alice provided for him. They all faded away. Pretended as if things changed in a bad way. No, things changed into a good way. They made it seem like change was the end. Jacob felt it was the change that needed to happen to begin with.
He felt comfortable. He was finally in his own skin. He finally felt like him.
Alice felt comfortable. Alice was wrapped from behind. The view was nice. Weird but beautiful. That’s what she loved about it. A smile didn’t leave her face, it was a sign of contentment.
The ocean being covered in white like a bride. Each keen eye that was on their face, was rewarded with the extraordinary sight. Both were thankful for the sight, they would remember it forever, for their forever.
Each individual snowflake landed on top of their noggins. Different things happened. The flakes melted into liquid when they fell upon Jacob, but with Alice, they stayed on her, resting like decoration.
The luminous light from the large moon, showed such a beautiful beach. The mixture of snowflakes and the glistening crystal like skin, made Alice look as a snow princess.
Jacob whispered, “Do you like it beautiful?”
She gazed ahead at the sight and feeling of vibrations of Jacob’s vocal cord near her iced ear. “Yes.” she whispered back as she watched as the flakes came down with graceful beauty, they were choreographed with abundance.
Alice loved the cold. But, she only liked a certain heat. The heat that was wrapped around her.
Watching the white sign of life float about, they each felt like that same flake. Free, full of life to flutter about. Free to be in their own individuality.
Jacob liked the cold. He was able to still be within his warmth, he also had the luxury of cooling down. That’s what Alice did for him. She cooled him off with effortlessness.
Alice looked at him with the large golden eyes that melted Jacob. Her teeth were blending in with the snowfall.
“I told you it was going to snow.” she teases, her high pitched voice full of passion. Her voice matched the ambiance, the scenery, and his surroundings. Peaceful.
“You got me.” Jacob says in a smooth low timber tone, a small form of white smoke from his warm breath that mixed out into cold air.
Alice didn’t know that Jacob’s statement had double meaning.
Alice’s eye lids crinkled with glee. She always knew it was him. No one else would be able to take this moment away from her. This forever from her. She wasn’t human anymore, but he made her feel like she was. He always did. He kept his promise. With him, it was as easy as breathing.

Hey I was wondering if I could make a request for the out of your league story. I’m curious about what Sam and Jared’s reaction to Paul imprinting. Because of the history Sam has with imprinting on someone else when he had a fiancé. I’m interested in seeing what his reaction to Paul imprinting on the person he already wanted to be with. I feel like Sam would’ve warned him to stay away from her so Paul wouldn’t have to deal with breaking up with her and it maybe causing drama that could trigger Paul to phase. I guess I’m also interested to know what was going on with Paul in the weeks where they weren’t talking and he had just phased. If you can’t do it it’s completely fine it just intrigues me.
hii i would LOVE to make this <3 btw i love it when u would comment on my out of your league posts hope you enjoy :)
out of your league scenario (paul’s version) - paul x reader
AN: it’s helpful to read out of your league part 3 for context <3
The bell was loud. Everything was loud. He was irritated. He just couldn’t understand the heightened sense of hearing. He cringed at the noises and rubbed his ears from time to time.
He already knew what would make him feel better. The teacher’s voice was loud and clear but the horseplay that was happening near him was annoying him. The overlapping noises was pissing him off by each second.
He eyed the clock as he counted down the noisy bell, he wanted to get it over with. It was the last class before lunch, meaning you can be near him and he needed that right now.
He braced himself as the bell ring out and he made his way out of the classroom door to walk to your class but the same guys who were acting goofy, was still tussling around in front of him.
“Move out of the fucking way.” he hissed at them. Annoyed wasn’t even describing all of what he was feeling.
A guy turns around and says without worry, “Chill the hell out.”
The boy is shoved forward before he could fully turn back around. One sentence pissed Paul off, his anger boiling over the brim.
The boy stumbled but didn’t fall so he was able to look at Paul, with knitted eyebrows, “What’s wrong with you?” the boy demands.
Paul steps closer, bawling up his fists to the nasty tone the boy in front of him was using, “You.” he states. He dared him to do something. A fight at the moment was something he was itching for. He felt like something was trying to claw through.
The boy who was under Paul’s scrutiny made one mistake and that was to give him a shove back, he didn’t want to be embarrassed in front of his friends.
It only made him feel a powerful blow to the chin, making him fall backwards and Paul is pounced right on him. Not missing a beat. His fists pour out all of the anger, all of the frustration, and everything that he was feeling. It was like he was in a trance. He wanted to pulverize this boy’s face.
He felt a group of hands pull him off. Saying things of, “Come on, before the teachers come.” and “It’s not worth it bro, come on.”
Attempts to calm him down and speak logic to him, didn’t work as Paul shrugged them off, giving them his own looks of death. They give him the respect of backing off, they didn’t want their faces to look like the boy that was currently on the ground.
Paul was fuming. All thoughts couldn’t be contained as he flew down the school stairs, using an exit door that was in the stairwells and pushed it open.
He felt hot. He even caught himself making small snarls.
“The fuck?” he thought as he panted out.
He seen a tall figure slowly walk toward him. Paul straightens up and looks at him weird. He noticed the man had no shirt and no shoes, just a pair of shorts.
The man crossed his arms as he looked at with expectancy.
“What? Do you want to be next?” Paul says to him, stepping forward.
“Paul, calm down. I’m on your side.” the man with a deep voice says. The voice was full of maturity as he looked at the young boy in front of him who was currently fighting his next transition.
“How the hell you know my name?” Paul demands, a bit freaked out since he ran in different circles as this man. He was clearly older. He only seen his face on pictures when the reservation was actively looking for him. His fiancée, Leah Clearwater, was frantic in finding him.
“I’ve been watching you for some time.” the man explains.
“Watching me for what? Who the fuck are you?” Paul asks with bass in his voice, he demanded answers.
“Sam. We should go back to your place, there’s too many eyes here.” The man named Sam, answers.
“I’m not going anywhere!” Paul stubbornly answers. He started walking in the direction to go home but Sam didn’t know what else to do. Paul was shaking and trembling.
He made it home. His father came home on a lunch break and saw his son’s shoes at the front door. He almost tripped over them. His father angrily pushed open the door.
“What the fuck are you doing fighting at school?! Guess what, you got suspended!” His father demands and says to him in a newsflash, his fist balled up, his face was frowned.
Paul rises from his bed and did nothing but look down at his father. His father noticed the height difference quite a bit, but he was still adamant about showing his son who’s the parent and who’s the child.
“Are you just going to look at me stupid?” His father asks again and nudged his head back hard with his fingers.
Paul pushed pasted him out the room. He was reaching towards the back door. He didn’t want to deal with the hell that was about to come. He’d rather just leave and sneak back in.
The figure who stood strong in his backyard, pissed him off even further. Shutting the door behind him, he stalked towards the man who was at his school earlier.
Sam, had his arms crossed in an unbothered manner. He hoped his plan to bring Paul’s wolf out in that instant would work. He could see it trying to claw out. He displayed the cockiest smirk he could muster up.
“I would break up with Y/N if I were you.”
That statement alone flew Paul into the air, tiny particles of clothes floating around him. Sam fluidly transformed into his own wolf form as Paul’s jaw snapped at him. Sam only saw black and darkness in Paul’s mind. Nothing but pure anger.
“Paul, calm down.”
Sam ordered Paul. Paul tried to fight it but the weight of the alpha’s command was too strong, forcing him to kneel to submit. Paul still growled a bit and tried to bawl his fists up. He looked down and his eyes almost came out of his sockets.
He saw claws. He saw silver fur on his arms. He looked at the large dark wolf that was over him.
“Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up.”
Paul chanted with his eyes closed. He hoped that he would wake up and breathe out a sigh of relief of how crazy the dream he had was.
“Paul, you’re not dreaming.”
Sam says to him through his mind.
“What the fuck did you do to me?!” Paul demands.
“I didn’t do anything. Paul, the legends are true. Do you remember them?” Sam encourages.
Paul did remember bits and pieces. He felt a wave of nostalgia as his time in Tacoma flooded his brain. As he then thought back to when his mother would tuck him into bed, the hazy womanly voice softly speaking the history of the tribe. How there were protectors to keep the scary monsters away. He missed her. He could barely remember the sound of her voice. He thought back to how when he was a bit older, when he moved to La Push with his father and how he would take him to storytelling events at the beach. His father’s good friends would tell the stories. He just remembered how Taha Aki was of importance, his elders stressing the fact. He remembered how he was told that Taha Aki was the leader of the Quileute tribe.
“We’re the protectors now.” Sam tells Paul.
Paul became sad. He whimpered a bit at the thought of having to be a large wolf for the rest of his life. His mind started going towards how you would never be able to see him again.
“Paul, you can still be human. Just be calm. Just think of something happy.”
Paul tried to rack his mind of cute puppies but he didn’t want to kid himself. You were in the forefront of his brain as he felt the shimmer of the waves around him dissolving. The day you stood in his bedroom as he kissed you. The serenity he felt when he sat with you on the beach. Before he knew it, he was on the ground naked, as the day he was born.
Sam threw him a pair of shorts and pulled his own up. Paul walked behind Sam as he heard the sharp chirps of birds and the loud crunches of the broken tree branches that were being stepped on.
Paul felt a bit exhausted. He felt most of all, hungry. His stomach growled and Sam chuckled.
“Don’t worry, Emily made us something.”
Before questions could leave Paul’s mouth, he smelled the enticing scent of cooked food swim in his nose.
Sam walks into the warm home, stealing a kiss from the dark long haired woman. She giggled at the affection he was showing her. Sam steps to the side and introduces them two to each other. Emily was polite. Paul was not.
Paul just stood at her as she gave him a smile.
Sam caught wind of this, knowing exactly what Paul was thinking. He wasn’t stupid. Sam gives Emily a tiny look and Emily picked it up. She caught the idea.
“I’ll be back. I have to grab something.” she says as she leaves the room.
Sam sits down at the table. Paul still stands. Sam extends an arm, gesturing for him to have a seat.
“You’re done with Leah?” Paul asks as he pulled his seat back.
“Yeah.” Sam answered sadly.
“So, you just go and fuck her cousin, huh?” Paul says with a snort.
Sam gives him a look.
“You have to break up with Y/N.” Sam says. Paul’s nostrils flare as his chair almost falls back from his quick movement out of the chair.
“The fuck is your problem?” he roars.
Sam just stands to tell him to have a seat but Paul pushed him back down. Before Paul could blink, Sam is up out of his seat, grabs the back of his neck, gripping it with so much force, his strength was undeniable. Sam grits his teeth.
“Sit down and I will tell you why.”
Paul sits flops down in his seat with the help of Sam’s force. Paul was seething.
“When you phase, the spirits will gift a wolf an imprint. A soulmate. To ground the wolf and balance them out. It’s rare, however but, Emily is my imprint.” Sam explains.
“Does Leah know?” Paul asks.
“She knows I’m not missing. She doesn’t know my wolf exists.”
Paul doesn’t say anything as he looked at the structure of the table. “Good thing imprinting is rare.” he thought to himself.
“That’s why you have to break up with Y/N, Paul. I said what I said earlier to get you to phase but now, I’m saying it because Leah loathes me and Y/N will hate you forever. What happens if you imprint?”
“I thought imprinting was rare.” Paul asks.
“Yes, but you just can’t risk it.“
Paul shakes his head as he rises up, “I’m not breaking up with Y/N. If I imprint, I will fight it.”
“You can’t fight it. It’s the person that both the man and the wolf need!” Sam desperately tried to tell him but, Paul was stubborn as he shook his head again.
“I will fight it!” Paul says again, getting agitated.
“You’d think if I could fight it, I would? I tried! It only made the pain of being away worse! I loved Leah. Shit, I still love her.” Sam says but, he whispers out the last part.
“Y/N is my only source of normalcy! I didn’t ask to be turned into a big ass wolf! Nobody is taking her away from me!” Paul says. He reached for the door. Sam didn’t want to, but he had to.
“I order you to not be in contact with Y/N.”
Sam ordered him. Paul hated him. He burst out of the house, not caring that pair of shorts that was loaned to him was into shreds.
He spent the first two nights in the woods. Thoughts of letting you go was making it hard to shift back.
He heard the voice.
“Come on, Paul. You gotta phase back.”
He knew that voice.
“Jared? It got you too?” Paul asked in disbelief.
“Yeah the wolfie disease caught up to me too.” Jared says, being able to laugh in the mind link.
“Have you seen Y/N?”
Jared shakes his head in his mind.
“Damn.” Paul voiced in defeat. He was desperate.
Wanting to see the human friend that he had, he thought of you again. He thought of the reaction he would have if he were to see you again.
Jared and Paul walk through the woods, back to Sam’s home.
“Your dad was on a rampage looking for you. I told him you’ve been staying with me but, he was pissed.” Jared explains to him.
“I don’t care about that son of a bitch.” Paul says in annoyance.
Jared snickered as he opened the door to Sam’s home.
Paul sat in the chair as the tattoo needle was hard pressed into his skin. His fingers were gripping the table as Sam explained how important it was for him to have it. He never thought to get ink on his skin but, the tattoo looked good to him.
Over lunch, Paul ate and ate.
“Slow down, pig.” Jared comments.
“Shut up.” Paul says with his mouth full.
“Just to let you know, you can’t go back to school.” Sam says to him.
“I know. I’m suspended.” Paul says in an obvious tone.
“I know. I mean after your suspension is up.” Sam corrects.
Paul stops as he looked at Sam’s serious face. He felt himself get angry all over again.
“Dude, just calm down. It feels good not being able to do homework.” Jared says with a grin to make his friend feel better.
“It’s not about that. Everything that’s normal I can’t have, huh?” Paul says frowning.
Sam sighs, “It’s the sacrifice we have to make to protect people.”
“Sacrifice the order and let me see Y/N, then.” Paul challenged but Sam shakes his head slowly at his proposal.
He snuck back into his home late into the night while his father was sleeping. With his new heightened smell, he smelled something delicious. It came from the front door and he had a feeling it was you.
He then found out about the silence movements that he now possessed as he climbed the squeaky stairs. They made no noise under his footsteps.
Checking his abandoned phone, he seen two texts from you. He couldn’t contact you but you could contact him.
“Are you okay?”
“U can talk to me.”
He read them over and over as if they were a lengthy novel.
His mind travels to his room. Only one person could make him feel better. Only one that could let him forget the horrific living nightmare he was subjected to.
Many days passed and he tried to make his feet go into the direction of your home. He underestimated the order when his body wouldn’t let him move forward. He tried his hardest to fight through it but he was no match for the invisible wall.
His father ranted and raved how much he ate.
“Food isn’t free!” His father says as he throws an empty box into the trash.
Paul had to leave his home a lot. He didn’t want to accidentally kill his father.
He almost did when he touched a soft subject.
Paul was on his way out of the door when his father says, “You’re always fucking leaving! Just like your mother. The one thing she did right was not coming back. Then, she would see the walking piece of waste of a son! Maybe she knows, that’s probably why she didn’t take your ass with her!”
Paul’s teeth clenched as he moved further into the woods. He left out of the house when his mother was starting to be mentioned but his heightened hearing made him hear everything. It was a curse in his eyes.
He couldn’t help but to wonder if his mother knew that this would happen. She whispered the stories of protectors to him as a child, he remembers the limited memories of her motherly love. He just couldn’t understand why she left. His thoughts were the demons he battled with alone.
Paul killed his first cold one. He remembered the rush he felt when his teeth ripped their limb from the air. Jared whooped in the mind link as Sam got the fire ready.
With their leader telling them they’re free to go after circling the area once more, Jared flew home to go to sleep. Paul went to the basketball court. He didn’t want to go back home so he borrowed Jared’s basketball.
The ball bounced up and down from his hand. He easily scored the ball into the basketball net. He was alone and was grateful for this. He looked over in the park area, hoping that you were sitting with a book or a sketchbook. Emptiness is what met his eyes. He shot the ball in the air. He heard the screech of a car stopping.
He was a bit annoyed that someone decided to come, he enjoyed the alone time.
“He lives!”
He scored one last shot and let the ball roll.
That voice made him almost drop to his knees. Opening his nostrils, he could smell the sweet scent coming from you. He wanted to look at you, but he couldn’t.
He physically couldn’t. You were still thinking about him. He figured you moved on from him.
“You don’t have to talk to me but…I just wanted to know if you were okay. I haven’t heard from you.”
He tried his best to meet your eyes but the order had an unimaginable grip on him.
“No contact with Y/N.”
That’s all that kept floating through his mind.
“Please just keep talking.” he says in his mind.
He heard your footsteps walking away and for the first time in a long time, he wanted to cry like a child. He picked up the basketball and bounced it. His hope for anything was simply sucked out. He was readying himself to accept his new hell.
The next day, Emily served him breakfast and Jared comes in with a big smile.
“Guess what?” Jared asks Paul with excitement.
Paul sighed as he felt annoyed. He wasn’t in the mood to feel happy.
Jared nudged him and showed him a picture on his phone.
“Y/N won an art contest yesterday.” Jared says, hoping it would bring a smile to his friend’s face.
Paul looked at the neutral look on your face. It was too much. He knew that he was the cause of that. If he was still around, he knew your smile would be much bigger than that. You looked like your feelings were hurt and your face was full of thought.
Paul didn’t finish his food, leaving out. Phasing, he succumbed to the wolf.
Your face kept flashing and it made his heart thump with pain. He just wanted to see you. He ran and ran until he didn’t recognize his surroundings.
He spent alot of his time in his wolf form, phasing out here and there to eat. The weeks were so slow. It dragged on like a snail. He was hurting in every inch of the time.
Sitting at the table, Paul rushed so that he could phase out of his human skin.
“Sam, you should lift the order.” Jared suggests.
“No. Hell no.” Sam says.
“How is he going to break up with her if he can’t see her?” Jared asks.
Paul looks at him. He knew that look. He was up to something. He let the situation play out.
“Just lift it so he can go break up with her.” Jared says.
Paul looks at Sam. Sam looked at Jared for a long moment. Paul had to give it to him, Jared didn’t crack or let his hand show.
“I swear, you better not make me regret this.” Sam says to Paul.
“I will break up with her and be on my jolly way.” Paul rasped out. He barely spoke since he was a wolf most the time.
“Fine. I lift it.” Sam says and Paul instantly felt the grip come up off of him. It felt like he could breathe again.
“But, Jared. Go with him.” Sam says.
Jared waves him off and follows Paul out the door.
“You’re not breaking up with her are you?” Jared says as he followed him to your home.
“Hell no.” Paul says. He knocked but you weren’t home.
He checked the park. You weren’t there. He smelled you again near the beach. He stopped once he saw you in a distance. The sketchbook was in your hands as your face was peaceful. You were his peace.
Jared nudged him forward, “Go ahead. Don’t look stupid.”
Jared then leaves off.
Paul was on his own. He took careful and slow steps, soaking up the sight of you. It’s been so long. You smelled so good as he got closer and closer.
He stood behind you, closed his eyes and breathed out your name through his lips. He opened them, expecting you to face with a mean look but all he saw was the back of you. You however, paused your drawing.
He moves around you, finding you looking down. It crushed him that you wouldn’t look at him.
“I know you’re mad….Can you just look…Please?”
He watched you as you slowly looked up. He watched your eyes took in his body, the tattoo that was sported on his shoulder, and finally to his eyes. It was as if you were gravity, holding him to Earth. Everything that he was living for, was in the palm of your hand. He wanted to give you the world, it was no doubt. You and him were the only beings on the planet. The memories of you two flooded his brain. It overflowed in his brain. He was glad he talked to you that day at the park. He was glad that his life promised nothing but happiness and peace with you.
“You’re everything to me.” Paul thought in his head.
He finally speaks.
“I’m sorry Y/N. I promise to explain everything.” he says to you.
A piece of him shattered as you didn’t say anything back. He didn’t like the fact that you were now looking through him and not at him. He needed to be near you, it’s been too long.
He sits next you and watched as you stare ahead. He understood. He broke your feelings.
“I can’t come back to school anymore.” he says. He finally was able to come clean. He still felt crushed as you still wouldn’t say anything. He was getting desperate. Knowing that you were a curious mind, he decided to just show you all of him.
“I have to show you something.” he says as he rises from his spot. He almost smiled at the fact that you got up to follow him. He was glad he found this meadow during his time as a wolf in the woods. He turns around and sees you taking it all in. He hoped you liked it as much as he did.
“Whatever happens, you can’t run.” he warns. He watched you grow nervous but he wants you to know.
He watched your face as you called out to his wolf.
“Paul?”
You were on your butt as you looked at the huge wolf. Convincing you that he wasn’t a threat, he explained imprinting. He knew for sure he imprinted on you. As he explained it to you, it all matched what he felt for you. He didn’t want to be a brother, protector or friend to you. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with you. He never thought that any girl would have him this tight by the balls until you came along. You fit in his destiny.
As you hugged him, he didn’t want to let you go. He watched as you entered your home.
He ran to Sam and Emily’s, busting through the door. All eyes were on him like he was crazy.
“I imprinted.”
Paul said the words as Sam rose up.
“Show me.” he demands.
He didn’t believe it. He watched in disbelief as Paul played the interaction between you two.
At first, Sam was lost for words. Paul definitely imprinted. Sam felt the exact same thing, but for Emily. He couldn’t understand it. He just couldn’t understand why the same couldn’t happen for him and Leah. He has no choice but to feel happy for his pack brother.
“Congratulations, Paul.”
Paul’s mood was noticeably lifted as he talked more around the table.
“She didn’t run, did she?” Jared asks. Paul shakes his head. Jared had a crestfallen look. He remembered when he told Kim and showed her his wolf, she ran from his wolf. That was the part that he had to suppress. He wanted to feel free.
“Aren’t you happy for Paul? You were Y/N and Paul’s biggest fan.” Emily teases Jared.
“I am. But… He imprinted on someone he wanted to imprint on. Why can’t we choose?” Jared wonders. The boy’s face was wrinkled, perplexed at the possibilities of choosing who was right for them.
“The spirits just know best, I guess.” Emily laughs.
Deep down, Sam understood where Jared was going with his question. The spirits should have known the love that Sam had for Leah. As happy as he was for Paul, he wished the envisioned version of the outcome of his destiny, to be the same as Paul’s. For Leah to be the one that held him to Earth.

out of your league - paul x reader
AN: Thank you so much for giving the last sixteen parts, so much love and support ! digital kisses to all of you xoxo <<prev >>next
Since the conversation with Old Quil, Paul’s arms were always tight around you.
Things were starting to change a bit. For instance, you woke up to Paul muttering and whispering in his sleep.
Laying there, watching him shift a bit, as he then jerked awake. Not noticing you watching him, he turns his head away from you to check the time.
Every other hour he’s been waking up from his sleep before it could get into the rapid eye movement cycle.
In the morning, you yawned as you stared at your morning drink. You tried to convince Paul to at least tell Sam to let him sleep some, but he brushed it off. Using the excuse of, “Phasing will wake me up. I will be alright.”
When he came back, he didn’t care what you were doing. His hands pulled you out of your clothes and made sure you were in the shower with him.
Multitasking was vital. The soapy loafa you rubbed in circles on his chest was held in your hand. One hand around his waist, he held you close to him. He kept coming into your view to keep kissing on you as you tried to take the time to wash him, but you needed your eyes open to see.
It was hard.
Just how he pounded himself into you. He was tired in the face but his body said completely different. The grip on you was strong as you clutched onto him. Your back was on the bed until both of his arms lifts it up and he manually but easily rocks you into him.
He kept chanting for you to look at him. He was being unfair when you couldn’t help it when you closed your eyes at moments at the sensation he brought.
You thought you were going to die. Not in a bad way. His strength was larger than yours but it his movements was overwhelmingly great. He made you see stars.
You felt his eyes on you as you lay next to him but you knew his time to sleep was limited before he had to leave.
You had dozed off and he was still lying there. Staring at you.
“Go to sleep.” you try to say firm but it you said it drowsily. He doesn’t listen. He doesn’t know what personal space is as he then scoots up next to you, almost on you.
It seemed as soon as Paul shut the backdoor to leave out, that’s when you woke up.
You sat nervously at the edge of the bed, fully dressed and running on nothing but pure adrenaline.
Your fingers slowly typed out a sentence to the person who you were dreading to see today.
”Happy birthday Bella :^) ”
Not even closing out of messages, she typed back.
“Thanks :) ”
You slowly letter by letter, type another response.
“I have your gift”
She types a response as well.
“Thanks! I’ll see you after school right?”
You sigh a bit before hesitatingly typing back.
“Yeah.”
Your hands were sweaty as you set the phone down.
You slid out the preserved gift out of the box that you had it in. You stared down at the glistening handcrafted beauty. You look up and figured only two more days before you could leave and distance yourself from them all.
Questions started to swirl your brain as the water ran down your body in the shower. Thoughts of being baited made your heart race.
Imagining yourself walking in, vampires drooling and menacingly walking towards you to drain the life out of you was all that you kept thinking about. You also wondered how you got Edward so comfortable. There had to be an angle. He wouldn’t just tell you this for nothing. You were sure of it.
An hour had passed and you wished time could go slow. You felt trapped in the home that you were in and decided to go to a local store. You needed wrapping paper to wrap the painting up.
You pretended to actually care about which wrapping paper looked the best.
You slowly walked home. You slowly wrapped the gift. When you were done, you felt trapped again.
Knocking on the elderly man’s door, your nose breathed in the fresh air.
You sat on the sofa as you spoke out your worries.
“What if I do die? Doesn’t this all seem fishy to you?” you ask him.
Old Quil shakes his head as he tried to calm you.
“You’re untouchable. They can’t touch you, you live on this land.” he says with his finger pointing down to state the fact.
“Why did Edward get comfortable enough to just tell me things? Why is he showing infatuation and I don’t even know him?” you question.
“Be glad in a way. You probably make him feel his age again.” the ancient voice suggested.
You rub your hands nervously and sigh out a bit as you try to calm your own self down.
He thinks for a moment. His wrinkled finger tapped slowly and said, “Don’t go straight home. Come back here.”
“How come?” you ask.
“Bringing back their stench won’t be good for Paul. You have to change before you go home.”
You nod and rise to make your you walk back home. After you bring a change of clothes, you tell him your farewells as you tell him that you’re starting your journey to Bella’s school. Timing your management of being there when she comes out of school.
“Tell Paul that I do care about him, if you see him.” you tell him.
“I’ll pass the word.” he promises.
Seeing students walk out of the building just made seem everything more real. You didn’t get dramatically dressed up, but you had on an outfit that was still chic.
Holding the wrapped present in your slightly shaking hands, your heart dropped at the sight of Bella walking down the steps. Edward was majestically walking behind her as she chatted about something. Instantaneously, his colored eyes snap to yours.
You look elsewhere but Bella then calls your name with a huge smile on her face. She had distanced herself from Edward as she walked toward you with pep in her step.
It was a bit contagious, you couldn’t help but smile a little as you start to meet her halfway. She surprised you with a hug as you lean into her with your hands full.
You nervously extend the gift out as she glanced down.
“Can I open it now?” she asks.
Your mouth opens up but you were cut off by someone saying, “You should open it with your other gifts.” You saw the way that Edward looked at her while she stared up at him, she then agrees to such idea.
He would be a liar if he claimed he wasn’t interested in knowing what it was, himself. All he knew, was the shape of it and the involvement with you in it.
Sparkling teeth startled you as they were suddenly in your face. You actually took a small step back but the person didn’t care. The petite figure was in your sight line. Her golden eyes swooped a glance at your outfit from toe to head, showing a favorable look.
The pitched voice then spoke out, “You have to be Y/N.”
You nod a bit at her intense enthusiastic impression.
Edward steps in, bringing his sister out of your face. “Alice, you’re scaring her.”
She turns her head to him, showing you the side of her inky black, short hair. She slightly narrows her eyes as she looked to her brother, “I am not.” She then huffs a bit and looks to you with an optimistic smile, “Am I scaring you?”
You just nervously smile before Edward cuts in again with a slight smirk as he looks to you, “You don’t have to lie, Y/N.”
This brings Bella to chuckle as she witnessed this interaction. She knew first hand of Alice’s personality.
Alice rolls her large golden eyes with agile you’ve never seen before, at his remark. Turning her attention back to you with a cheerful smile, “Are you coming back with us?”
“I-I thought that the party was a little later on.” you say quietly as you look at her.
“Bella is going back to Charlie’s before we go. You can come with us.” Edward suggests. Your eyes look to him as he looks back. You look to Bella and she has a hopeful expression on her face.
“Sure.” you say. You would rather not go by yourself with a house full of vampires you didn’t know.
Bella leads you to her truck as Alice and Edward walk away together.
As you click in your seatbelt, you watch as Alice starts talking to him closely about something. There was great enthusiasm but her mouth moved very fast. The way her body moved showed there was an hint of passion behind what she was saying. Edward stood like stone, his expression was even, but his eyes kept glancing to yours. You decide to look over, to see Bella putting her wrapped present near her.
“I can’t wait to open this.” she says with a hint of excitement.
You softly smile, “I hope you like it.”
The drive to her home made you less nervous. She chatted to you about her day. As you climbed her steps, a silver car parked in the same driveway. Edward steps out and you move into the home behind Bella.
Bella leads you up the stairs to her room and she sees a large present on her bed. She groans a bit that makes you tinkle out a chuckle.
She pulls up the top part of her box to reveal a dress that was for her. She read the small note. It was from Alice.
“It’s my birthday but I can’t dress how I want.” Bella jokes as she gestures at the outfit that she has on.
“Just wear what you want. Save it for another occasion.” you say as you looked at the fabric of the dress, knowing it was high end.
“No, I’ll wear it. I told them no gifts so, it’s the least I could do.” she decides.
Walking down the stairs, the boy was sitting on a sofa. Bella sits next to him as you sat in a recliner. She turns on the television. She puts on a movie that she wanted to watch. Romeo and Juliet.
You barely paid attention to the movie. You however, thankfully seen this movie before. You wouldn’t be caught off guard by questions or comments. Your mind went to Paul. Then to your trip. You let your mind imagine what requests would be called for you to do.
You didn’t notice the movie was over until you heard murmured chatters between Bella and Edward discussing the movie a bit.
“What did you think?” Bella asks you. Edward looks at you also.
You shrug a bit, “Yeah. It was alright.”
Just then, a man comes in with a box of pizza.
”Hey dad.” Bella says as she rises and greets her father.
“Hey Bells. You look nice. Figured you didn’t want to cook or do any dishes for your birthday.” you hear him say as he sets the box down on the kitchen table.
You introduce yourself but he seemed to already know who you were. He heard your name but he finally was able to put it to a face.
“You can help yourself to some pizza, kid.” he offers as he opens the box.
He offers Edward to some but, he of course declines. He does still join all of you at the table as he sat with a glass of water in front of him.
“Do you mind if we borrow Bella this evening?” he asked Charlie politely.
“We?” you thought in your head as you slowly chewed. This was all of their doing.
“I don’t have a problem with it. There’s a game tonight so I wouldn’t be much company.” he replies with his permission.
Bella remembers something as you all meet back in the living room. She then holds a silver camera in her hands. She snaps a quick picture of Edward and jokes, “See, it works.”
“You and Y/N should take a picture together.” Charlie suggests.
You wrap your arm around her and she leans against you with her arm around you. It looked as if you both were close friends for a very long time. Edward’s delicate finger clicked on the button of the camera, sporting a small grin.
“Make sure to take pictures. Renée will want to see. You know how your mother is.” Charlie says to Bella as you put your shoes back on.
“I will.” Bella promised.
You sat in the back seat, your eyes dart at the fleeting trees. Your seat belt was snug against you.
“Jeez, who are you running from?” you say at his speed limit.
Both Edward and Bella chuckle.
“He always drive like this. I hate it, I swear.” Bella comments from the passenger seat.
Edward lets up from the gas just a bit. The lit up home comes into view, bright lights shining on the first two floors. Before you realized he turned the engine off, you and Bella’s doors were opened by Edward.
Your eyes looked at the architecture of the home. It just made sense for a family like them. Big bowels of pink roses were lined up along the wide stairs to the front doors. Edward held both Bella’s hand and the gift you gave her in each hand.
“Of course.” Bella moaned quietly at the sight.
“Be a good sport.” Edward says softly to her.
Bella’s eyes look to you, showing that she was telling the truth of not really wanting to do anything over the top.
You all three climb the stairs, you were moving slower than the other two on purpose. Edward let go of Bella’s hand to open the door for her as she held onto the camera she brung.
With him still holding the door, Edward patiently watched you as you picked up your pace. He walks closely behind you but that’s when you saw them all standing in the white living room. It looked like they were posing. You were almost blinded by their cluster of beauty.
They greeted Bella with a chorus of, “Happy birthday, Bella!” You watch as she blushed and looked down.
You looked around and saw that every flat surface had been covered with pink candles and dozens of crystal bowls filled with hundreds of roses. Your eyes then shifted over to a table with a white cloth draped over it, holding a birthday cake, more roses, a stack of glass plates and a small pile of silver-wrapped presents. It was pleasing to the eye. There was also a grand piano that was sitting strong next to the filled table.
Two people who you assumed were Edward and Alice’s parents, came forward to Bella. The woman carefully hugged Bella and planted a kiss on her forehead. The man wraps an arm around her, “I’m sorry Bella. I know it’s much but, Alice couldn’t resist.” he says in a stage whisper. His eyes then cast to you, he displays a warm smile, “Glad you could join us.”
You nod and politely smile. The woman he stood next to, then moved forward and introduced herself. Esme was her name. She was youthful as ever but had a motherly demeanor. She opens her arms and asks for permission with her eyes. You didn’t want to be rude so you slowly walked into her embrace. She was careful but you could still sense the strength.
The man then moves forward as Esme steps back from you, introducing himself. So, this was Carlisle. Instead of a full hug like Esme, he wraps an arm around you in a side embrace.
“Another human?” someone suddenly speaks from behind them.
She was blonde and gloriously gorgeous. The glare she gave you didn’t intimidate you. You didn’t display a noticeable glare but you held her amber eyes into your own. Not breaking eye contact no matter what.
“Be nice, Rosalie. This is a friend of Bella’s. She’s in the knowing.” Carlisle explains carefully.
“Let me guess. Someone put her in the knowing.” she comes back with. She glanced at Bella and then behind you, to Edward. You didn’t know he was still behind you, you swivel your head to see his casual smile at her.
He steps out and walks out from behind you, “She already knew.” he just says.
Not being able to say more, she just leaves it at that and a large man just lovingly touches her arm to calm her down. His face was stretched into a huge grin and steps foreword with his hand out, “I’m Emmett.” You shake it.
He then gives Alice a quick look, “I have to step out for a second.” He then makes his exit out of the same door you entered in.
Alice lets go of a man’s hand she was holding and gives you a friendly welcoming smile. She then points over to the man who was distant and quiet, “That’s Jasper.” she tells you. You nod in acknowledgment but he gives you a small smile without saying a word. She skips over to Bella and puts a cool hand under her elbow as she leads her to the filled table that contained the pile of presents.
“Time to open presents.” She says excitedly. Bella puts on a martyr look, “I told you no gifts Alice-” she starts but Alice cuts her off by saying, “I know, I know. But, it’s your birthday.” She takes the camera from Bella’s hand as she replaced it with a big, square silvery box.
“Open it.” Alice says.
Bella reads the top of it as it was from Emmett, Jasper, and Rosalie. She slowly tears it open to find a box that looked like something that was electrical. You didn’t know what it was. She didn’t know what it was either. She opened the box, only to find it empty. A flash is made from Bella’s camera as Alice holds it.
“Thanks? I guess.” Bella says.
This makes you laugh, right along with Jasper, and even Rosalie cracked a smile.
“It’s a stereo for your truck. Emmett is installing it so you can’t return it.” Jasper explains to Bella.
“Thanks Jasper and Rosalie.” Bella says smiling and then turns in the direction of the door, “Thanks Emmett!” she says a bit louder.
Before Alice could fully pick up the next gift, Edward steps forward to Bella.
“Open Y/N’s gift.” he encouraged to her. She takes it with no protests as she actually wanted to see what this gift was.
All eyes stayed on Bella, curiosity was thick in the room. Emmett then bounded through the door as he says, “Just in time.” He goes next to Rosalie who is also very curious to see what you’ve brought.
Bella slowly tore open the wrapping paper. She gasped a little before tearing it open with more haste. She held the canvas up, the colors against it, swimming in everyone’s eyes. Low murmurs wafted in the room as they looked at the vivid picture.
“Oh my goodness. That’s beautiful!” Esme says as she admiringly stared at what was in Bella’s hands. Jasper was even closer than where he was to get a good look.
Bella had a sparkle in her eye as she let her eyes follow each detailed illustration. Alice was over her shoulder as she too stared.
“It looks so real, Y/N.” Bella says as she’s wowed. and goes to hug you with one arm. “Thank you. Seriously. I love it.” she says beaming at you. You couldn’t help but smile back at her.
“It is impressive.” Edward comments, not taking his eyes off it.
“Yeah.” Alice agrees wholeheartedly. She snapped a quick photo of Bella holding it and she goes over to lift a small flat covered square in her hand.
“From me and Edward.” she says excitedly.
Bella gives Edward a look, “You promised.”
“I didn’t spend a dime.” he reassures as she passed him the gift she currently already had in her hand.
Bella inhaled deeply before saying to Alice, “Fine.”
Alice gives it to her so she could open it. Seeing her struggle, almost snagging her finger, you hurry up and gently take the present. “You’ll cut yourself if you’re too rough.” you softly say to her. You help her loosen the tape and the paper as she is able to smoothly open the gift safely.
“Thanks.” she quickly but gratefully says before reading the written words on the cd.
“Bella’s lullaby.” she softly reads out and looks to Edward. He gives a polite grin at her.
“Edward composed it. I just helped him put it on CD.” Alice says highly.
“You make music?” you asked Edward, who immediately shifts his eyes to you as soon as your voice makes a sound. His lifts his lip into a half smile with a slight smug, “I play piano.” Your eyes immediately look to the beautiful grand piano.
“I love it when he plays. He should play something.” Esme gushed with her hands together.
“I want to listen to this at home for my first time.” Bella tells Edward as she holds the protected cd disc up. Edward still makes his way to the piano.
“Fair. I will play something else instead.” he says and Esme’s face lights up.
A peak of interest ignited in you as Edward sets his fingers to the white tiles. It then felt like a jump scare as goosebumps started to slowly form on your skin. You froze. You knew that song as soon as the opening notes played. Your eyes are to the floor as your eyes narrowed a bit. It was the classical song that you told him that was your favorite. Although you couldn’t remember all of the song’s name, he still ended up finding out exactly what song you were talking about. You didn’t watch him. The tiles on the floor beneath you were more interesting to look at but, the piano cover was bliss for your ears. You noticed he had changed some notes, you hated to admit that it sounded a bit better in his version. Only a bit.
Small claps applauded him and you lift up your gaze and you half heartedly give your own small applause. He shot you a look of knowing before smiling at his family.
Alice picks up the last silver gift. Handing it to Bella, Bella looks over to smile at Carlisle and Esme.
Esme smiles a bit, “Something to brighten up your day. You’ve been looking kind of pale lately.”
Tearing it open, she holds up a ticket and says, “To Florida, to go to my mom. Thank you.” She walks over to them both and they give her a gentle hug.
Alice placed candles on the cake as someone dimmed the lights. Carlisle placed set fire to the candles, lighting it up. Alice holds it in front of Bella as you all sang happy birthday together. Alice singing in a higher octave than all you. Bella breaths in a bit and as she closed her eyes for a moment and blew out the candles.
Bella and yourself held a small plate of cake that Esme had cut for the both of you. Conversations had Bella’s undivided attention and you let your eyes wander around the Cullen’s home.
As soon as you were done, Alice was there in front of you, expecting you to hand her your empty plate.
“Thank you.” you say as she takes it and went to the sink and back to you before a full blink.
“Thank you for coming.” she says as she stretched her small face into a smile.
The smile was returned in a small dose.
“Come on, let’s test it.” you heard the booming voice of Emmett. You watch as Bella follows with a grin, while shaking her head, out the door with Emmett with Rosalie slowly following behind them.
Alice skips over to Jasper and turns on some music. The pop song softly played in the room as she grabbed Jaspers hands as he couldn’t do nothing but smirk at her.
You were about to turn fully away until she says in a high trill, “Y/N, dance with us!”
Golden eyes in the room were all on you as you slowly backed away, “I um…Have to use the bathroom.” you quickly stammer out.
You walk out and realize while you were walking down a hallway, directions weren’t given. You didn’t have to use it anyway. Dancing in front of them just didn’t sound like a comfortable idea at the moment.
Coming to a dead end, you see nothing but closed doors but, only one door cracked open. You decide to turn around but you jump silently as you were startled to a great degree. Edward was there in front of you, staring back at you. He gives you a peak of his white teeth as he says, “Need help finding it?”
“I almost found it.” you say softly to walk around him.
“You’re not curious?” he asks in the same volume as yours.
You turn to look at him to see what he’s talking about and the door opens wider with just two of his fingers. He placed them back into his pockets. His eyes smothered yours. You rip your eyes away and take a glance into the room. The wall was the only aspect that caught your attention. Nothing but illustrated history, your feet worked against you as they moved towards the largest picture on the wall. Calling it captivating was under describing it.
Looking at the golden haired man, you recognized it was Carlisle who was amongst the three other men. Your heart clenched as you looked to each individual’s exquisite face. Carlisle was unchanged, showing proof of his immortality. The others were two dark haired men with one that had hair as white as snow. You would’ve thought it was a picture until your eyes flickered to the black signature on the bottom corner.
Leaning forward a bit, you knew the medium that was used was of oil. They were painted onto the highest balcony and calmly overlooked the swirling mayhem of color. They were like royalty.
Seeing a capital cursive S in the signature, you just had to ask without taking your eyes off of it.
“Who’s the artist?” you ask. By the looks of their clothing, it was centuries years old. You wondered if the painter was still alive. Probably not.
He speaks from behind you and you turn to face the voice, “Solimena often painted them as gods.” he says with a small laugh.
You nod in a trance as your eyes kept swimming over the greatly designed piece. It hung up nicely in a wooden frame.
His pale finger is now in your eye sight as he pointed to each face, “Aro, Marcus, and Caius. Nighttime patrons of the arts.” he mused.
“Are they still alive?” you ask him with eye contact. He slowly brings on a small smirk, “Of course.”
You kept note of their names as you looked back to the large painting. Edward watched you watch it. What was interesting most of all was, the scenery in your head that he was able to have a peek into. He enamored the creativity that started to swirl around. He knew he helped open the door for inspiration.
He didn’t expect you to turn and walk toward the exit of the room so quickly. He followed you and then touched your shoulder gently, “You don’t want to see the others?” he asks softly.
You shake your head, “That one caught my eye the most.” you confess. You then halt your steps. This confused him a bit.
You lift your eyes up to him, “After this party, you have seen the last of me.” you say, almost to deaf to your own ears. He heard you perfectly. He didn’t want to.
Moving closer and shaking his head whispering, “Not true.”
You scoff before turning but your right back in front of his face by him turning you around.
“You live in this world, Y/N. You can’t just not see me again.” he says with a chuckle that aimed for the foolish claim that you proposed.
“I was polite to come. It really was for Bella.” you say in the same deafening tone and then huff out a small sigh as you brought your next words together, “Your world is dangerous. I’m in deep but, there’s still room for me to get out.”
“My world would protect you. That’s why..” he trails off to say but he stops himself with his eyes closing.
You started to grow frustrated, “I’m protected just fine…. That’s why, what?”
He just looks at you without giving you an answer. You tried to wait patiently but, it was just simply too long without a clue. It just felt like you were having a staring contest with him. Giving up, you stomp away from him. Coming back to the birthday scenery, it seemed as nothing changed. Except, Bella was pleading Alice not to make her dance.
Seeing you come back into view, Alice drops Bella’s resisting hand and skips over to you.
“Y/N, will dance with me.” she states with a confident smile. You didn’t get a chance to resist either as she’s moving her body while holding both of your hands.
She spins you around quickly, the action making you leak out a surprised laugh. You tried to forget the recent conversation and just make your body do a couple of dance moves to the beat that was playing. Alice’s laugh chimed out in the air, happy that someone other than Jasper actually made an effort to dance with her. The song comes to an end.
You stopped moving and got shy when you saw that Edward was looking at you with an expression you couldn’t quite figure out.
“I should get home. Charlie’s game is probably almost over.” Bella says as she looks to Edward.
“Aww no.” Alice whines a bit, her face is fallen at the possibility of the event being over. “A little longer please?” She begs Bella.
“I’m a bit tired as well.” She smiles softly. You silently thanked her in your head.
“Let’s get her and Y/N home.” Edward says to his sister. Alice pulls in her small pout and walks towards you since you were closer to her, “I’m so glad you came.” she whispers happily. You heard people tell Bella her last happy birthdays and you were still in the hug. Pulling back, she was still hugging you. She then pulls back and had a smile stuck on her face. You turn but her cool hand jets out to you, “We’ll talk soon?” she asks with hope.
You make a polite and small nod, not really meaning to that commitment.
Farewells to you and Bella were made. Something stuck out to you. The way that they hugged her, made it seem like it was the last they would see of her. They were vocal however with you, saying things like, “Hope to see you soon,” “Don’t be a stranger to us.”
You walk out of the car with Bella and Edward, into her home.
Charlie’s game did come to an end, with only the highlights playing. Hearing the door and you all into his view, he says to all of you, “You kids have fun?”
You nod as Bella chuckles, “It was very eventful.”
“I hope you took pictures.” Charlie says.
“There’s pictures.” Bella says with a soft smile and she then turns to Edward.
“I will see you tomorrow?” she asks him. He just says, “Probably.”
She then gives you a hug, “Thank you. I love my gift.”
Your arms tighten around her. She then quickly pulls back, “Oh, shoot! Do you need me to drive you home?”
Before your mouth could fix words, Edward steps in, “It’s fine Bella, I can take her home.”
“No, that’s okay-“ you start to tell him but he talks over you, “We have to get Bella’s painting out of the car.”
The way that he looked at you showed he was giving you a hint. You don’t say anything and just walk out and down her steps.
Edward held her painting that he took out of his car but you quietly say, “How are you going to take me home if you’re not allowed on La Push land?”
“I’m not taking you to La Push. After we talk, you’re free to go where you need to go.”
“What do we have to talk about?”
“About your trip.” he says and climbs the stairs with grace before disappearing into her home.
You felt a buzz from your phone and with him gone, you check it.
“I care about you too”
Your heart was quenched from the message you have received from Paul.
Another notification pops up and it’s from an unknown number.
“Hiii this is Alice ! I hope you had as much fun as we did XD”
“How the hell did she get my number?” You thought to yourself but it seemed like she answered the question when she sent another text.
“Got your number from when Bella let me hold her phone to see your birthday text to her btw ;)”
“Oh lord.” you thought as you looked to the sky.
The door closing brought you back to reality and Edward feeling comfortable enough to use his speed, he already had the passenger door open.
The quiet hum of the engine was the only thing that surrounded the small space. He was driving at the same high speed, you wondered how he hadn’t gotten pulled over for it.
“Say something.” he says quietly.
You shake your head, “I meant what I said. After tonight I can’t see you or your family again…I might have to not see Bella again either.” you whisper out the last part.
“I meant what I said as well.” he says.
“You can’t mess up what I have.” you say to him, “You answered my questions in exchange for me coming. Now, we’re even.”
He glanced at you with an astute expression.
“We’re not even. There’s something that I want.”
Your heart thuds almost of your chest.
“What do you want?” you ask with fear.
“Calm down, it’s nothing harmful.” he says reassuring. Your heart was beating wildly in his ears.
Calming down a bit, “Okay, then what?” you ask.
You realize you were going back into the direction of the Cullen’s residence. Eyes are wildly searching his face for answers.
“I just want to talk.” he answers seriously.
Getting out of the car, it was as if a party never happened. Everything was cleaned up and there was no signs of life.
“They’re all out hunting now.” he says as he opens one of the doors for you.
Stepping in, the house was deadly silent. He climbs his fancy stairs and you follow him.
He stands by his large bedroom window with his hands in his pockets, the moon shining very brightly through it. It was its own light. You actually saw the glimmer of diamonds that jumped and dance on his skin. You cross your arms.
“I’m going with you.”
“Like hell you are.” you bark at him.
You got even angrier when he stared back at you, not saying a word.
“You’re not!” you say again to get it through his head. You started to pace as you shook your head at the thought of him coming.
“Alice has seen it. You go by yourself, it will turn ugly.”
“Bullshit.” you hiss out.
“Bulltrue.” he says with amusement and he then says and goes on, “Just listen to me. Will you listen to me?”
You stop your pacing and just choose to glare at him instead.
“Alice had a vision. You decided not to listen to me and you went by yourself. You found yourself in great danger.” he says and shakes his head as he remembers.
“A vision? What, she can see into the future?” you ask, your voice quivering a bit.
“Something of that sort. You can change your mind and the vision will change. Your future will change.” he explains and he takes a step forward to you, “I can be there to protect you.”
You start pacing again.
“It’s not fair.” you state.
His eyebrows furrow together, “What?”
“It’s not fair how…I can’t seem to get rid of you!” you say.
He does nothing but fill the air with a chuckle. Your mind goes to when Alice was talking with Edward at Bella’a school earlier.
“Paul will have a fit.” you quietly say as you look out the window.
“Paul having a fit will sure hold you back from many opportunities, Y/N.”
You whip around to face him, “You don’t know him! You don’t know us.” you say.
He shakes his head slightly, “That day in the restaurant. I saw in his head what he did at the art gallery. He lets his feelings get the best of him. It’s only going to hold you back in the long run.”
“He’s improving. I already talked to him.” you say and turn your back to him.
“You will see.” he says in a calm tone.
“Why would I listen to anything you say? You don’t like Paul by default.” you say.
“Don’t you love what you do? Why wouldn’t you want to utilize your talents to your fullest capacity? Being bound to here…To La Push…” he says.
“I care about him enough that I’m willing to stay here with him.”
“Then why are you going to New York?” he questions in a tone that had bass in it.
You stare at him.
“Once you step foot in that city, your life changes. You would thrive there. You wouldn’t want to come back.” he says, so sure of himself.
“Impossible.” you say.
“You will see.” he states again.
“Are we done?” you snap at him.
“Almost.” he says with a hand up.
You look out of the window. The trees started to wave a bit under the moon light. The view was nice. You kept your eyes focused on it.
“You don’t have to shut us out, Y/N. I and especially my family, are on your side.”
“It doesn’t feel like it, Edward. My intentions were only to be friendly to Bella. It’s bad enough I went against Paul’s wishes and kept being friends with her. I’m a human. Our worlds don’t collide at all. I’m honestly surprised Bella is in as deep as she is.” You rant out, you never took your eyes off of the view in the window.
“You’re right. Our worlds don’t collide, which is why my family and I are leaving.” he says in a soft tone. You slowly turn to look at him and his golden eyes are stuck onto yours.
“I know the danger I am to Bella. Alice has seen her become one of us and I don’t want that for her. Her scent is just too enticing, it’s the thing that’s pulling me to her. It’s like heroin.” he says as he shakes his head, the tone having a dose of shame.
“So why keep me around? Why can’t you have that same respect?” you ask in a quiet tone, your voice wouldn’t allow you to be louder.
“You don’t even know how preeminent you are.” he says with a small smile.
“What does that even mean?” you say narrowing your eyes.
“It means…You’re like morphine.” he states with a steady gaze.
He then shrugs a bit and stands next to you by the window.
“My departure is known and expected to Bella. The ticket is for her to go back to her mother after graduation.” he just says.
“Last party before you head out.” you state out loud, piecing it together.
He nods, making sure that what you said was true.
“Aren’t you two in love?” you question.
Softly chuckling, “Everything about me is supposed to pull a human in. Her in. I’m an addictive. Her blood pulling me in, is an addictive. Addiction isn’t love, unfortunately.” he then glanced to you.
Just then, he moves away from the window and tells you, “They’re back. Show me where to drop you off.”
Holding the car door before closing it, you look at him in the driver seat.
“I should cancel my trip.” you tell him.
He shakes his head with a smirk, “You won’t.”
You look at him for a moment before muttering out a ‘thanks for the ride’ and close the door.
You knew your way, the drop off was right before the Welcome to La Push sign.
The walk let you think. Letting go of Paul was not going to happen. You two have been through so much together. Outside opinions were really testing the power of you two.
You knocked on the old man’s door. He yelled that it was open. He looked happy to see you.
“Hurry, hurry I want all of the details.” he says as you hastily climb the stairs to the bathroom.
You scrubbed hard and sat in the fresh clothes that you had brought over earlier.
You sat there and explained what you saw, the conversations and the painting you saw with the three other men with their names. You guessed to be people who were higher up if they were still alive to this day. The painting spoke out to you. The power that they held moved you. You told him Alice’s ability to see one’s future based on the decisions they make. He wrote it all down with precision. You just left out two things.
You didn’t know how true Edward’s word was so you didn’t tell Old Quil that the Cullens were thinking about leaving. You didn’t tell him that Edward wanted to go with you. You were going to find a way for him not to.
“I should let you go. Paul kept coming here every hour to see if you were back.” he says with a laugh.
“Is he alright?” you asked.
“Just very antsy.” he says.
Giving him a farewell hug, you make your way home. Paul was standing outside when you got there.
“Why didn’t you call me? I could’ve picked you up.” he says moving forward to you.
“I’m happy to see you too.” you tell him with a smile.
Your face is crushed on his, you feel yourself being lifted.
Your face is crumbled as your entire body shivered. Every inch of your body was licked and kissed. Your body submitted to him. His thrusts felt like love bullets as they shot through you.
That’s when he said it. You wouldn’t forget it.
You were shaking as you lay upon him. You were catching your breath but he was calm. He rubbed your back as you were skin to skin with him. The sun was starting to rise. The faint leaks of early sunrays bleeding through the curtains that were hanging on the windows.
“I love you.”
It was said quietly. It was barely above a rasp. You couldn’t speak. So, you didn’t. You didn’t want to say it back just to say it back. You lift your tired head and planted a kiss on his lips. He drunk you in like he was a drunk tasting alcohol. Getting his last fix.

Eyes were stuck onto the chiseled figure that was walking. Confidence oozed out of his aura and captivated you. The conversation that buzzed in your ear turned into muffles as you stopped paying attention to the person next to you.
Your head tilted to the side as the eyes that were looking about, suddenly snapped to yours. His gaze smothered you and you felt all kinds of flutters in your body.
Someone calling his name is what made him stop his contact with you.
Paul
You wanted so badly to hear what it sounded like when it spilled from your lips. You wanted him to say your name through his kissable lips.
“No way.” the person next to you said to bring you back to reality.
“What?” you ask in a whisper, looking down and feeling caught.
They just laugh and shake their head at you.
You look back up to see him walking away with the person who called his name. They dimmed in comparison to him.
You did see him again.
At the convenience store, the old cashier, who was also the owner, told you the price. You dug in your pocket, it took you a minute as the money was overlapped with each other.
You heard his voice then.
“Just put that with me.” you heard. It was deep, smooth and velvety.
The cashier looks in recognition, showing that he knows who this person is.
“How’s dad?” the cashier asks him with a soft smile.
Paul sneaks around you and placed what he was getting onto the counter with your things.
“He’s good.” Paul answers back.
He looks over to you as the cashier scans his things. He brings on a smirk, “You can put that away.”
Referring to the money that was in your hands, you stuffed your hand back in your pocket.
Outside, he pulls out what you were trying to get, out of his bag.
“Thank you.” you say to him in a shy voice. He made you deliciously nervous.
“Are you going to pay me back?” he asks smoothly and he had gotten close to you enough to have your heart racing.
“Oh.” you say and look down and reach in your pocket but he chuckles. The sound was pleasing in your eyes.
His hand reached out and lifted your chin, the touch burned in your skin and held your gaze into his.
“Give me your number.” he said.
After you stuttered out the numbers, he promises to text you.
You couldn’t wait. You watched him walk away. With distance between you two, he looks back over his shoulder to get a look at you. He smirked again at the fact that you were watching him walk away.
Not looking where you were going, you turn and you bumped into someone who felt rock solid.
You couldn’t believe you watched him until you couldn’t see him anymore to the point he had your mind all gush.
“Shit! Are you alright?” A voice says in slight panic as two hot hands jet out and held you up from falling.
You look at their face and you didn’t understand this feeling. Looking into their eyes, it felt like you’ve known them since forever. Familiarity was deep but you haven’t seen them before. Their eyes melted in with yours and it felt like you were floating on your feet even though his hands held you steady.
“I-I-I’m fine.” you say. A slow smile spreads across his lips.
“What’s your name?” he asks as he looks over you.
You tell him and he responds with his.
Embry
You repeat it when he said it.
He smiles at this. The sound of his name from your lips ignited excitement, it ignited fireworks in his body to the point where he felt like he was about to burst. In a good way.
He says your name in respondence to you saying his.
It sounded nice. It sounded right. It sounded like he was always meant to say it, as crazy as it seemed.
“We’re happy for you, Embry.” Sam says as he clasped down on his shoulder.
Embry hid his blush as he looked down. He had finished telling his pack brothers how he finally was gifted an imprint. They were happy for him. He was happy.
Plans to celebrate at the beach was being made.
“You should invite her.” Jared suggests as he shoveled the dinner that Sam’s imprint, Emily, had made.
“I…I don’t know her number or anything.” Embry sheepishly admits.
“What? How did you go through all of that and didn’t ask the girl for her number?” Paul says and laughs while shaking his head.
“Um…I don’t know. We just told each other we would see each other again..” Embry confessed and this brings more laughs.
“What’s her name?” Sam asks and all of his pack brothers look at him.
Embry was going to answer, but he wanted it to be a surprise. He only wanted to say your name again when you were with him.
“I’m going to be at the beach with some friends tomorrow. You should come.”
You kept rereading the text message you have received from Paul as your heart leapt about.
“I would love to”
You texted him back. After you pressed send, your mind still traveled back to the guy you bumped into. Embry. His name was unique and just thinking about it made you feel all fuzzy inside.
You felt at a loss. You wished you weren’t so dumbstruck to the point you didn’t ask him for his number or how to speak to him again.
Slowly getting dressed, your stomach was doing backflips.
Walking down the beach, the cool air didn’t help with the heated sensation that was rippling through your body of the thought of seeing Paul.
You just hung around, watching the waves collide.
“Hey.” you heard a warm voice in your ear. You turn around and instantly smile as you saw Paul.
Facing him, before you could process his handsome face, he pulls you into a side hug. He felt nice to be hugged by him. You hoped he didn’t let go.
He kept his one arm around you as he walked along the beach with you. You seen a group of people but he walked you in the opposite direction.
You both sat on a rock and talked softly to each other. You found him to be very funny and clever with his jokes. You were absolutely starstruck. Paul was a bit starstruck himself, your effortless laughs sounded great in his ears.
“Where are your friends?” you ask him.
He jerks his head in the direction that they were in, “Over there. You thirsty?”
You nod and he gets up, “Don’t leave.” he says. You chuckle, “I won’t.”
You watch the waves as he goes back to the group of people that were his friends.
Finishing your drink, a young boy bounced to where you and Paul were still sitting, “Sam is wrapping it up. He needs your help.” he says and runs back to where he came from.
Paul leans forward and placed a delicate kiss on your cheek, “I’ll see you later?”
“I’ll see you later.” you confirm. He leaves and goes in the direction of where the young boy went.
You put the empty can to your lips, realizing that you already drunk it all. The guy already made you lose your mind. Smiling a bit to yourself, you stand up and looked for a trash can.
Throwing it in the trash, you hear your name being called. You turn around and your heart jumps at the sight in front of you.
“Hi, Embry.” you say softly.
His smile blinded you.
“I didn’t know you were here.” he states as you both decide to walk. You shrug and smile, “I didn’t know you were here either.”
“I meant to ask you when we first met…Can I have your number?” he stammered out the last part. You thought it was cute. It was usually you who would be the one that would be so nervous. It felt good to not be the only one being in a bubble of nervousness.
“Sure.” you say and hold your phone out.
He then takes his phone out.
“Wait, can I…Take a picture for your contact?” he asks nervously.
You smile and laugh a bit at such idea that was happening in the spur of the moment. The picture would always remind him of this day.
Catching onto his idea, you aim your phone at him as he laughs as well.
He saw you shiver a bit due to the night starting to show.
“Cold?” he asks. You nod as you placed two hands on your arms to keep yourself warm.
He slowly wraps an arm around you as he held you close. He felt so warm. He was like a personal space heater. You almost moaned at the feeling but you kept your cool.
You both talked on the phone, well into the night. He even invited to a dinner. Emily made it her mission to persuade Embry into bringing you over. She wanted to meet you.
You agree.
Embry picks you up and gives you a warm hug. The hug was a bit lengthy as you both didn’t want to pull back from each other.
Embry asks to hold your hand as he walks toward the cute home. You give him your permission as you were flattered.
His hand was tight around yours as he twisted the door open. The aroma made your mouth drool.
“Hi, I’m Emily.” the beautiful long haired woman introduced herself to you.
You tell her your name and she pulls you into a hug.
“The food is almost ready. You and Embry can get comfortable.” she tells you as she moves towards the stove.
Embry takes a hold of your hand and tugs you into the living room. He was excited. His pack brothers were lounging in the living room and this would be the first time that they would meet his imprint. When you entered, eyes all closed in on you.
“Everyone, this is Y/N.” Embry boasted. They all said hello. Except for one person. Your eyes were stuck on him. His eyes were stuck to yours.
You felt a tug and you look to Embry, as he gives you a small grin.
“Do you want to sit here?” he asks you. You slightly nod. Having a mixture of feelings, you couldn’t speak at the moment.
He pulls you down to sit next to you. It felt nice to sit next to him. Embry became entrapped into what was on the television, like the rest of the people in the room.
But you couldn’t focus. Your eyes kept taking sneak glances at Paul.
Emily comes into the room with a smile, “Food is ready.”
Before she could fully speak out, the boys got up and rushed into the dining area.
This caused you to chuckle a bit, Embry takes your hand and smiles at your amusement.
Sitting next to Embry, you felt a connection between you two. It was like electricity. Like you both were in sync.
“Can you pass me that?” you heard a voice says.
You look up to see Paul, who was sitting across from you. When you don’t say anything, he points towards the pepper shaker.
You hurry up and pick it up and give it to him. You almost jolted at the feeling of his hand on yours as he retrieves it.
“Thanks.” he says and goes back to his conversation.
You almost missed the small interaction, wishing it was like yesterday. Embry had your attention now as he talked conversation to you.
Eventually, people around the table then started to ask you questions.
“How did you two meet?” Paul asks with a blank stare. This made you nervous.
“Um…I bumped into him coming out of a store and we just sort of..hit it off. It was like a movie.” you said nervously and Embry squeezed your hand under the table. Embry didn’t care that the lovesick smile was plastered on his face.
“Aw, how sweet.” A girl, whose name you soon found out, Kim, says.
Paul didn’t look at you after that. You felt a piece of your heart shatter inside.
Over the phone that night, you and Embry recap the day.
“I’m really glad you came.” he says on the other end of the line.
“I’m glad you invited me. Everyone was nice.” you say into the device.
Saying goodnight to each other, you both hang up. You stare at your phone a bit. His voice was soothing and made you feel fuzzy inside.
Embry had his hands in his pockets. Making his way to Sam’s for a pack meeting, he heard bits and pieces of conversation as Emily’s home got closer and closer to him.
He only heard the last part clear. It was in a snarky way. There was only one individual it could’ve been.
“The same girl Embry was talking to.”
He picked his pace up. “What about her?” he thought to himself.
Pushing open the door, he’s seen Sam at a table chatting about with Paul.
“Wassup, Embry. You’re early.” Sam just states.
Embry jerks his head up in acknowledgment but his eyes still stayed at Paul. He knew it wasn’t Sam’s voice that said the overheard comment.
Embry couldn’t focus on Sam’s next plan. Paul’s face alone was annoying him and he’d wished Sam would just hurry up and finish talking.
As moments died down, Paul had started to get impatient.
“You got a problem?” he asks Embry. He wasn’t stupid to the grit that Embry was throwing at him.
Embry pressed his hard gaze at him with a nod towards Paul, “You’re my problem.”
Never backing down from confrontation, Paul folds his arms, keening in on Embry.
“So, what are you trying to do?” he asks him, ready for whatever.
“Tell me this. What did you mean when you said, ‘The same girl Embry is talking to?’ What do you mean by that?” Embry asks, with a great amount of demand.
Paul laughs with malice and feels petty, “You don’t want to go there.”
“Well I’m there.” Embry says with hardness.
Sam raises a hand and says calmly, “You both are not doing this here. Especially right now.”
“I just want him to tell me what he means by that? He’s obviously is talking about my girlfriend of an imprint.” Embry demands out with great possession. His wolf didn’t like the idea of his imprint liking another man. Not caring about any consequence of any kind. He wanted answers and was about to smack the shiteating grin off of Paul’s face.
“Fine. I tried to spare you,” Paul says but Embry scoffs at such thought, “Your little imprint was feeling me. ”
“You’re full of shit!” Embry hisses as he rises.
“Hey! Cut it!” Sam says.
Paul does nothing but types a message to you.
“You could’ve told me Embry was your boyfriend.”
You read the message as you put down the book you were reading.
In confusion, you don’t remember setting into that type of relationship. Yeah, you liked Embry but you both haven’t gotten to that point yet. You type back to Paul.
“Embry is not my boyfriend.”
Raising up, not feeling like being in the sane room with Embry, Paul scoots his chair in with force and walks toward the door. His phone buzzes back and he checks it smiles vindictively, “She just texted me that you’re not her boyfriend.” he says and shakes his head.
He’s glad to have the last laugh, dropping the last bomb as he closed the door behind him.
You stirred your straw in your drink, barely paying attention. The small intimate restaurant allowed your friend to chatter in your ear. The talk was muffled as you barely listened to what they were saying. You were bored. You missed Embry. You called and texted but he wouldn’t respond. You missed the sound of his voice and him texting you, checking up on you. You didn’t realize how big the small gestures had affected you.
After paying, your friend rises up and announced their need for the restroom. Waiting for them, you hear a bell jingle. Looking at the door, you saw the person that you’ve been waiting for.
“Embry. Hi.” you say with a nervous smile but you were happy to see him.
He didn’t look at you or even brought out any feeling to hint any source of happiness to see you. This shattered your entire heart.
“I tried to call-“
He sighs out in annoyance before looking at you, finally, but they weren’t with kind eyes, “Look, Y/N. I’m not looking to get played. Mess with me or don’t mess with me at all.” he says. He then turns, not feeling hungry anymore, his appetite slimmed to none. He thought what you two had was special. He didn’t want to be the one who had to suffer. He was promised happiness and that’s what he looked forward to.
You hand jet out to him, “Wait. What do you mean?”
“If you want Paul, just go be with him, seriously Y/N-“
“What? I miss you, Embry. Not Paul.” you say honestly. You were sad at the thought that you were thinking of Paul to be a possibility in the beginning.
To be fair, you haven’t thought much about Paul with Embry’s absence. It seemed like he got you in a way. He felt like he fit perfectly in the puzzle of your life.
“No, you don’t.” He whispers but he secretly wanted you to say it again.
You just grab his hand and lead him outside. You look solely into his eyes, “I do.” You then take both of his hands, “A little crush. That’s all it was. But, you’re who I want.” you tell him.
He searches for the truth on your face and through your eyes. He found what he was looking for.
“So, are you going to be my girlfriend?” he asks.
A smile slowly spreads across your face. You felt nervous. You couldn’t speak due to the overwhelming feeling of joyous running through your body. You were waiting for him to ask you.
You lean in place a sweet kiss on the side of his mouth and nod at his answer.
His smile matches yours as he wraps an arm around you.
“Y/N?” your friend calls for you.
Not removing yourself from Embry, you face them.
“Who’s this?” you friend looks at you and the boy who was both blushing. There was a hint of astonishment as they looked between the two of you.
“This is Embry.” you say and couldn’t help but smile at him. His name sounded so nice against your lips as you then say, “He’s mine.”

what a girl wants - leah x fem reader
Closing her eyes, her hands wrapped around you as she returned the hug.
Stepping out, she was able to take a look at you to see how long she hasn’t seen you.
After high school, you had moved away. She wasn’t surprised. You were the friend in her group who had aspirations for the future, always talking about what you were going to do as soon as you would be able to leave your hometown.
It seemed as though the real world treated you nice, you looked happy. You looked more womanly since the school days. More alive.
“I’m so happy to see you, Lee.” you warmly say as you take look at your old friend.
Her cut hair made you envy how well she could pull it off. You always thought she was a beautiful young lady.
“Same to you.” she says to you before swallowing. You never made her nervous before. She wanted to know what the difference was with this time.
“Congratulations on your mom!” you tell her, speaking of the thing that brought you back here in the first place.
Receiving an envelope in the mail, you were happy that your friend’s mother was getting married. You hoped she would experience happiness after the hardship of being a widow.
“Thanks. She’s crazy over him.” Leah says, rolling her eyes but in a playful manner.
“That’s good.” you say.
It seemed as though you never left. Seth now had another person to annoy. You weren’t as annoyed, knowing you haven’t seen him in a long time. Plus, you kind of missed his sunshine.
Your fingers rhythmically softly drummed along the steering wheel. Finding out that Leah hasn’t picked out her outfit yet, you were relieved that you weren’t the only one.
Leah sat rigid in the passenger seat. Thoughts kept beating up the front of her head as she wondered why things weren’t like the last you were here.
“Do you miss it here?” Leah ask as the sun ray kissed an angle of your face. Her stomach fluttered at the sight of your thinking face.
“Hm. A bit.” you say with a soft smile and peek at her in the corner of your eye.
Leah didn’t know what else to say, she let her eyes fall to the rest of you. She didn’t realize how much she was drinking you in with her eyes until the light turned green and the car jerked back into motion.
Leah didn’t know how to act normal. It was nighttime and time for bed. The big day was tomorrow.
Her eyes couldn’t look away as you lifted your shirt off and changed into a night shirt. You look to her being frozen.
“Are you okay?” you ask as you pulled the pants that you wore, down.
“Nervous.” Leah answers.
This makes you softly chuckle.
“I get it.” you say, referring to the ceremony that were to happen the following day.
Leah slides into bed as she turned over. You just wore the shirt, feeling like it was warm enough for not having any bottoms. This made Leah’s eyes squeeze shut.
You turn to her, lay super close to her back that was facing you, and you tap her shoulder.
She turns over and she suddenly hated being able to see well in the dark. Your face pulled her in as she watched you slowly form a smile, “How have you really been?” you whisper.
Leah couldn’t do anything but one shrug with one shoulder, but she remembered that you couldn’t see her.
She takes in a breath, “It’s been sucky.” she admits.
A hand is placed on her for support, “It will get better.” you whisper.
“I don’t know. People are only dealing with me because they have to.” she whispers back.
“Who?” you question as you scoot closer to her.
“It doesn’t matter.” she whispers as she turns onto her back and look to the darkened ceiling in her bedroom.
“It does.” you say. She doesn’t say anything. She blinks. You place a hand onto her cheek as you move her face to make her look at you, you don’t take it off.
Leah watched you breathe. Leah scoots over with her nose close to the crook of your neck. She closed her eyes. The smell that emitted from you was nice. You reach over to place a small kiss on her cheek before laying back onto your spot.
It felt like a thousand fireworks burned in that spot for Leah. She reciprocated the action to you. You smile at this and she’s glad that she can see in the dark, glad that she’s able to witness such as you. You soothingly, caress your fingers through her hair.
Leah didn’t realize anything about where her lips were going as they pulled back from yours. Your eyes were closed, as you took time to feel the feeling she gave you. You found yourself liking it. She was beautiful. You lean forward to her as you both were soon lip locked.
Leah had never kissed a girl before, but she felt like she had done it time and time again. You both fell right into rhythm. Both set of hands felt each other quietly. When you arched yourself onto her, she pauses.
Breathing heavily a bit, “What’s wrong.” you whisper with concern.
“Nothing.” she says. You then pull her back to you. Leah lets you. It was different but it felt nice.
Placing her hand on your perky boob, you pressed it to you so she could cop a feel. It felt soft in Leah’s hand as she felt under. It was hard to be quiet. You both tried your best.
“I want to see you.” you whisper to her, almost out of breath. Leah flicked the light on. It enhanced what she had seen in the dark. Nothing in but your underwear, you wet your lips with anticipation as she pulled what she had on off.
You both thought each other felt so soft. Leah didn’t expect herself to fall apart so easily. Curious touches of each other’s bodies soon turned to tasting. Leah held her mouth as your tongue glided on her naked chest.
She held onto your head as you lapped at her. You haven’t done it before but you took your time to get to know her body. You were glad it was her. She was glad it was you. What was building up since you got there was being poured out. She felt like she didn’t have to hold in such feelings anymore.
The morning was silent.
You got dressed as if nothing happened. You didn’t want to make things awkward.
“Hurry up because I will leave you.” you say to Seth as you picked ip your keys. Seth comes down the stairs, adjusting his tie, “I’m here. Happy?” he asks.
Leah didn’t pay attention to the bickering. She thought that the feelings that were built up would leave. They didn’t. She couldn’t take her eyes off of you.
Leah did give her mother the grace of her attention as she walked down the aisle to her second, now husband.
People were celebrating the new couple. Leah couldn’t bring herself to dance like everybody else at the reception. She just sat in a chair and discreetly watched how you interacted with everyone. You were carefree and she knew that you wouldn’t be happy in her life that she deemed as miserable.
Leah gets up with tears prickling her eyes as she caught herself watching your hands. Flashes of the previous night started to creep into her brain. She remembered how talented those hands were. Those hands kept up with her as she remembered the feeling of your body on hers.
She goes straight for the bathroom. Sniffling in a stall, tissues kept getting wet as her cheeks started to feel sore from repeatedly wiping them.
She pauses as she hears the bathroom door open. A soft knocks on the stall that she was in.
“Someone’s in here.” she says coldly, upset that someone was interrupting her sulking session.
“I know that.” you say from outside, chuckling to lighten the air.
Leah sighs as she hunched her shoulders.
“Are you okay, Lee?” you then ask.
“No.” she says. She unlocks the lock of the stall door before stepping out.
“I’m not.” She finishes as she wipes the remaining tears. You worriedly look at her red eyes.
“What’s-“
“I’m not gay!” she exclaims. You look down. “Okay.” you state to her.
“So, I don’t know why I feel this way about you.” she says quietly.
You look back up to her eyes closed in defeat. You move in to hug her. She surprised you by hugging you back. You expected her to push you away. She just couldn’t.
Her face is in your shoulder. “I feel something for you too.” you softly confess. She lifts her head and makes one last sniffle. “You do?” she asks quietly.
“Yes, but I understand if you don’t-“ you start but it was all that she needed to hear. Your face was crushed to hers as she poured what she felt out into you.
Holding your hand tight, she felt at ease. Your smile warmed her heart as she was glad that the scary part was over. She was worth coming back for. You were sure of it. All you have wanted was each other.

Hi, is there can u do a part of “Supernova” of Seth x Noa. Where everything is back to normal. The pack were inside just playing around then Emily and Sam saw Noa outside practicing her powers (Avatar state). Noa was doing earthbending first by letting her feet on the ground and doing crazy stunts. Next it was fire, doing kick stunts with fire together. The pack want to know what was going on and they saw Noa practicing staring at her amazing while Seth doing love eyes at her. After that, it was air and water. Emily and Sam thought she was done but something else surprised everyone where Noa was taking a deep breath and getting to a stance where lighting is forming on her hands and she strike a lighting towards the trees damaging 3 trees at once. Noa was done, she turned and saw the pack eyes shocked. Emily and Seth said u never told us u could do that.
heyy ofc ! hope you enjoy :) supernova first part
supernova part 2 - seth x reader
The storm had calmed and things were settling back to what deemed as normal. There were no more fear or panic left to be felt.
Energies were still at an all time high as the pack scuffled about. A pillow was thrown and Emily pulled from Sam’s embrace. It almost hit the newly purchased lamp.
With intentions to scold the boys, something catches her eye as she look to the window. Nudging Sam’s arm, he looks as well. They both froze as they watched the figure, glow and have a look of pure concentration.
You had both feet on the ground as you practiced being more efficient at levitating near by pieces of Earth. Stones at numerous sizes were lifted into the air and you punched and kicked with flipping your body to enhance potential performance.
You didn’t pause in order to move onto your next element, flames of fire danced right at your fingertips. Creating large walls of fire, you practiced defense mechanisms. Kicking fire jabs at nearby targets that you set up before practicing, the sight alone was impressive.
Hearing commotion outside, the pack actually paused their horseplay.
”What’s going on?” Embry asks as he listened.
Jared decided to pull back a curtain, only finding Mia in her element.
“Holy shit, look at this!” Jared says as he watched with fascination. Pack brothers huddled around him as they watched you ease into your next element.
Seth was already at another window, watching you with love and adoration from his view.
They watched as air moved to the rhythm of your arms and water flowed with you as you took control. You were in control. Taking deep breaths and getting into a stance, Emily and Sam moved to come outside to comment on what they saw until lightning started to form in your hands and you directed the ball of electricity. Hitting all three trees at once, the brown bark split and fell, making the strong objects fall weak on behalf of you. This made the pack exclaim comments of being impressed.
Feeling satisfied with the results of your practice, you turn around and find all eyes on you. They were eyes of shock as they watch you walk toward them.
They instead decide to come outside to see the damage for themselves.
Seth and Emily stared at each other before looking to you.
“I didn’t know you could do that!” Seth happily exclaims. He thought it was so cool for you to have such abilities.
“Me too! I mean, you never told us you could do that.” Emily says gushing.
You smile and look at the faces of everyone. They weren’t weirded out or afraid. It was looks of welcoming of you and what you could do. Seth swoops you into his arms, feeling proud that you were able to exude your powers with such control.

out of your league - paul x reader
AN: Seriously, I can’t thank you guys enough for showing so much love and support to fifteen parts of this story ! kisses to all you xoxo <<prev >>next
Picking up the wooden present that was now dry, eyes swam around the picture. Usually, you were a tough critic on what you create.
“This is actually good.” you thought to yourself with confidence.
Looking around the home that you and Paul shared, you found an empty moving box in the storage space and slid the canvas in it to prevent it from getting messed up.
Peeking through a window, you noticed the pattering had stopped and saw that the dampness from the rain was still prevalent. Drops of rain had stopped falling from the sky.
Checking the time, it was early afternoon. Making a small note for Paul, you grab your jacket. You decided to take a bus to Port Angeles. You didn’t want to be the one to drive.
You gladly take in the worldly scenery. Taking everything in, you wanted to be as inspired as possible. Your upcoming trip excited you and made you thankful for sticking to your dream.
Thankfully, the traffic on the sidewalks weren’t crowded.
However, a record store caught your attention. Wanting to check it out, you made your way in. The hard plastic covers of nostalgic artists that you used to listen to, were staring right back you. You had thoughts about enjoying physical media and even had your eye on a cd player that was on sale.
Impulse buying both the cd player and cd, you leave the store ready to use it. You walk with a stroll in your steps as you tear open the box that the purchase was in, throwing the box away in the shopping bag. Peeling the stickers off, you were able to pop open the case and you carefully placed the cd in. As you untangled the headphones that was suitable for it your fingers fumbled the cd player and your face grimaced as you tried your best to save the drop.
Being unsuccessful on your side, pale hands startled you as it caught it expeditiously. Holding it with ease.
Looking at their shoes and seeing the music player in their hands, you slowly look up and see those familiar eyes that you so badly tried to forget, staring back at you. He stood there frozen in front of you as you take it back.
“Thanks.” you say quietly and he pierced his gaze onto you.
“What’s in it?” he asked with inquisitiveness.
You don’t say anything, holding up the newly purchased cd.
A corner of his lip lifts a bit, “I don’t think I’m familiar with that one.”
The artist was someone you held dearly to your heart. People that you knew or were close to you, never really heard of them and you grew to love that. Their sounds were unique but also calming in a way on your pallet.
You stand up, “Thanks again.”
Turning to walk away, you jerk a bit from the cool hand being placed on the arm of your jacket, “Wait.” you hear him say.
Hearing what he has to say, his mouth opens then closes it with his eyebrows furrowed.
“Are you messing with me or something?” you ask, narrowing your eyes.
He looks surprised a bit at such accusation and shakes his head, “No.” He squares his shoulders and then goes on, “My sister has sent you an email. You haven’t responded to it. It’s for Bella’s birthday party that she wants to throw.”
“Yeah, I don’t know about that. Plus, Bella told me wants us to do something small.”
He nods a little.
“How did…Alice.. Get my email address?” you ask out as you did your best to remember the name of the sender.
A small smile goes back to his lips, “That was easy. She found your article of when you won that art contest a while back. It had your email there.” You didn’t expect to see the small look of being impressed in his eyes.
You look to the ground as the cd player you had was tight in your hands.
“Will you come?” Edward asks you and his hard eyes struck at you.
“Uh, no offense but…No way.” you say, your eyes growing out at such suggestion. You were a bit surprised at the shock that he displayed, he actually thought you were going to say yes.
“And why?” he asks.
You take a shaky breath in as you watch your surroundings, “I’m sure you’re smart. How many…Vampires will be in attendance?” you ask in a hushed tone.
His eyes shifted nervously a bit but he quickly recoups himself and you felt lucky that you didn’t miss catching it.
”You’re not afraid of wolves, but you’re afraid of vampires who don’t feed from humans.” he says in a joking tone, him having a kick out of your response.
This makes you scoff but then huff out a small laugh, “That’s a good one. A vampire that doesn’t feed from humans.”
“It’s true.” he says as his smile starts to fade, wanting you to believe him.
Placing a hand on your chin, “Hm. I guess you suck air instead.”
“I’m serious.” he says with hardness, wanting you to stop joking on such manner but the amused smile from your joke never leave your face. Your finger does fall from your chin.
He looks around a bit before leaning a bit, “Would you like to know?”
“I’ll just have Paul tell me.” you say.
“I’m afraid Paul doesn’t know everything.” he says, almost cringing at speaking Paul’s name.
You shrug.
“Where were you headed?” he asks.
“Why? Where’s Bella?” you ask.
“She’s with her friend Jake at the reservation.” he answers.
“So, you got bored and decided to come to Port Angeles?” you say without interest.
“I came to see you.” he says but has a look of concentration before resuming, “Look, I can answer your questions. I’m sure Paul already told you about the treaty me and my family have with the quileutes.”
“The treaty doesn’t mean anything. You and your family still caused him to leave his normal life and shift.” you tell him.
He showcased a crooked, amused smile, “Are you sure it was my family or is it the new threats coming in throughout Washington? The constant “animal attacks?”, he pauses to shake his head, “Me and my family have been coming in and out for over 70 years and have you noticed there’s no elder werewolves that you know of? If you did, you’d met them, especially by now.” he says in a tone only you could hear as the sidewalks started to have more and more people walking.
He held the door open for you as you walked through the library that wasn’t crowded. Sitting in a plush study chair in a corner, you notice he feels more comfortable. His back is to the wall as you sit diagonal but close.
“I didn’t forget what you said about me.” you tell him in a hushed tone. His eyes look to you as he encourages you to go on. They still took time to get used to.
You look down as you bounce your leg a bit to bring the words out, “You said, hypothetically, and I quote, ‘you have something about yourself that’s unusual.’ What did you mean by that?” You then rise your eyes to look at him look down at the table. He’s relaxed against the chair with a nonchalant expression.
“If I tell you, will you promise to think about coming?” he asks.
“Why would I promise you anything?”
“You’ve figured a lot out. What’s being said needs to stay in this library and at this table. I know you told Bella to promise not to tell me that you know what I am.”
“How?” you challenge, she told you that he left. He just gives you a look.
You huff a bit in frustration, as you look around the library. Only trickles of people were walking around, but nowhere near close to where you both were.
Under the table you cross your two fingers, “I’ll try to think about it.”
He seems satisfied enough as he then thinks for a moment.
“Which would you like to know first? How I knew or what I find unusual?”
“You pick.” you say jerking your head a bit.
He leans forward a bit before speaking out and that same look of focus was back on his stone face, “I just see colors. Like…a whirlwind of colors. It’s strange.”
You look around in confusion. Sure there were posters that had splashes of colors but his chuckle brings your eyes back to yours. He waits a bit before turning serious.
“I mean in your mind.” he clarifies.
“In my mind?” you ask to see if he’s serious.
“Yes.” he answers flatly.
Silence falls as you look at dust that’s floating in the distant light of the window.
“You don’t see words? What I’m thinking?”
He shakes his head as he looks down at the table to concentrate, “No. If the emotion from you is strong enough…They form into..” he shakes his head, he doesn’t know how to describe it. It was unusual for him.
“I don’t know..It’s like the colors try to come together to create something.” he finishes, hoping it’s the best way to describe it. It was challenging to bring what he sees in your head, into words.
“So, what about me and Bella’s talk?”
“I had left out but I was still in earshot. That’s all.” he says.
You roll your eyes, “Of course.”
You then look to him as he still stares at you with one look, “Your eyes aren’t red like the one that I saw.”
This peaks his interest. “You saw one?”
“Yeah. Not to get too into details-” you start but he cuts you off.
“No, please. Do tell.” he says politely but the look on his face showed great zeal for the topic. The energy surrounding this statement brought you in to speak on what you saw.
You then explain the situation of the first time going to the cliffs by yourself, to prove that it wasn’t you willingly walking to danger. How on the way there, the inhuman figure got ready to attack you. Paul and the others came to your defense, killing and dismembering it and setting it to fire. Not an ounce of boredom was on Edward’s face. Your mind brought him into the world of the story, he saw the colors of red vicious eyes, the bluish fire, and he even saw a hint of the picture you drew of the experience when you had trouble sleeping. It all flowed together on accord. He wished you hadn’t changed the image of the picture in your mind so fast, he wanted to look at it longer. It was a clear picture and he could almost feel being there.
“The cliffs are in La Push land, right?” he asks inquisitively.
You nod.
“You and Bella being friends make more sense. Both being danger magnets.” he says with humor.
You shake your head being serious, “I feel like I’m in danger now. I know about the incident which landed her in the hospital. I know that the story was bogus. What really happened?”
“Pushy are we? You better think long and hard about coming to this party.” Edward says with his cheek resting on his hand.
“Why do you want me to come so bad?” you ask.
He takes an intake of breath through his nose, as he stared ahead with his arm resting on the table. “That I can’t tell you.”
You nudge his arm feeling annoyed, “Why not? You’re going to lure me in so your family can feast on me?”
He looks down at the spot that you touched him and back at you with a look of innocent amusement that you haven’t seen from him before.
“Me and my family don’t feast from humans. That’s why our eyes aren’t red.” he says trying to smoothly change the subject.
You cross your arms as you leaned back a bit in your chair, giving him a stone cold look.
“We’re vegetarians.”
This brings out a laugh from you, “You cannot be serious.”
He shrugs, not taking offense to your laughter, even sporting a small grin of his own, “It’s what we call it. Instead of human blood, it’s animal blood.”
You nod with understanding but you didn’t think it was possible. It must’ve explained the amber color. As you take in the color of his eyes, he looks to you with intensity but you shift your eyes somewhere else not wanting to hold that gaze.
“And with Bella, a nomad attacked her and..We had to save her. We used the story that we used to not bring light to the real truth.” he explains.
You look at him with skepticism, “A bite mark?”
“He bit her.” He says, knowing that you were blaming him.
“Make it all make sense.”
“I sucked the venom out. If I didn’t get there in time..” he says as he remembers but you say, “No doctors have noticed?”
“Carlisle is one. He knew the doctor in Phoenix. Pulling some strings, Carlisle was able to treat what he wanted.” he says casually but you don’t even know who that person is.
He doesn’t give you the opportunity to ask.
“So.” he says as he shifts a bit in his seat.
“So.” you answer back.
“Going to New York?” he asks with a polite smile. Of course, she told him.
“It’s for business and no you can’t come.” you say not being friendly in your response.
This brings out a small laugh from him and he then shakes his head a bit, “I don’t get why you stay here. Especially in La Push.” he says with his brows knitted. He just didn’t understand it. He found himself wishing he could be able to understand it.
“My soulmate.” you tell him defensively.
His look is bored when you tell him this, “You sure will miss out on a lot.”
“How old are you?” you ask to change the subject.
He catches this but chooses not to circle back and has a grin, “109.”
“You should be in a nursing home instead of a high school. And how are you 109 and you haven’t heard of-“ you say and hold up the hard copy cd.
He shrugs.
“Get it together old man.” you say in a disappointed tone.
Smiling a bit, he slides the cd player to himself as he just holds one headphone a bit close to his ear, he pressed play. He did it in a smooth manner to where the music flowed out before you knew it.
He actually listened to the entire song that was on the first track as you read the back on the cd. You popped it open as you pulled out the lyric sheet.
“Not bad.” he says, pleased that the somewhat new gen music wasn’t horrible, sliding your items back to you.
”Exactly.” you quietly say as you folded the lyric sheet back up and put it back in its place.
“Are you into classical music?” He asks.
“I had a lengthy period timeline of listening to it while I would study.” you say as you thought back to the era. You even thought about buying a keyboard to play. But, you knew where your heart resided.
“Do you have a favorite song?” he asks, surprised but at the same time not surprised, he figured you’re deep into the arts.
You tilt your head to the sky with your arms crossed as you thought about it. Edward caught glimpses of the colors of the covers that you mentally searched through, that you remember putting in your playlist.
“It’s like…Something that starts with a D, et Chloe: part lll. I remember the part because of the tallies.” You say, still in thought.
He had a look of thought as well, “Ravel?”
“I think. Don’t quote me on it.” you say as you then watch him interrupt what he was going to say to your response and says, “I gotta go.”
Before any form of a processed state of mind could be made, he wasn’t there. All that was left was remembrance of him being there. You look beside you to see both Kim and Emily. Kim held the door for Emily as you knew for a fact that Kim suggested this place. It was you two that found this hidden gem together years back.
Emily was the one who spotted you. She wasn’t vocal about it but she rushed to where you were. You both hugged as she then says, “Went shopping without me?” She circles around you as you both gush about what you had purchased.
Kim doesn’t say anything as she sits down in a seat where a certain somebody sat in.
“Getting a book?” you ask her.
“Yes. Now, come with me.” she says and pulls your arm.
You both idly walk in the aisle where the genre she’s looking for is located.
You let your eyes run across the spines of the books as Emily picks one up and reads the back of one.
“Did you get one?” she asks.
“Nope. I just got here.” you tell her.
She then lights up with her eyes, “Guess what?”
You return with a smile, “What.”
“With you leaving, I figured I should visit home.” she says excitedly as your eyes land on the book that she had interest in. It was a recipe book.
“Really? I mean…You could’ve came out of town with me.” you offer, thinking of the fun you both could have exploring the city together if you had free time.
“Oh, I’m sure you’re going to be there more than one time.” she says with certainty.
“You give me too much credit.” you say quietly as you at other books that were around.
“You’ve been invited out of town and someone paid your way. I have a feeling this won’t be the last time you experience this.” Emily says with a knowing look.
“Plus, since I’ve moved in with Sam, I haven’t seen my mom in person. I took this as a sign to spend some type of time with her.” she adds on as she tucks the book under her arms and sees if something else catches her attention.
Kim ends up joining you two as you stand next to Emily as she checks out a book. You felt a nudge before looking to see Kim giving you all of your stuff from the table.
“Thanks.” you say.
Walking out, you feel the air as the dampness has somewhat dried up. Emily suggests you all grab a treat at a nearby bakery.
Sitting with the paid for treat, Kim says she has to use the bathroom. It was just you and Emily at the table.
“How have things been?” you ask her.
“Things with me have been great!” she says and then chews while she looks at you, “What about you? Besides your achievements.” she says.
“So far, so good.” you say.
“I know you don’t see eye to eye with Kim, but man do I feel bad for her right now.” she says quietly.
“I’m sure things will be okay.” you say, “She finally got the man of her dreams and Paul isn’t as bad as she made him out to be.”
“I don’t know.” Emily drags out. You give her a quizzical look.
“Jared and Kim have been fighting. A lot. Jared’s not that kind of person so it’s worrisome.”
“Do you know why?” you say, feeling yourself fall into the pits of gossip.
“I really don’t. That’s why I just hope things do turn out better, you know?” Emily says. You nod.
Kim later sits down, with peaks at her, you notice her face was a bit red.
“Everything alright?” Emily asks. Kim just nods. She’s been quiet.
You all close car doors as you all get out of Emily’s car.
Unlocking the door, Emily puts her keys up as you all take off the jackets that you had on.
Barely getting your shoes off, Paul comes to you and bends down to give you a kiss but makes a disagreeing noise as he retracts from you, “Ugh.”
“I took a shower.” you tell him, but deep down you knew why.
“And you need another one.” he says and the look on his face showed that he was serious. He kept an eye on you, as he tried to figure you out. You move further into the house.
“Want to see what I bought?” you ask. He doesn’t say anything but looks at what you’re holding.
“Where’s Jared.” Kim asks Paul.
“I don’t know. Go find him.” Paul speaks to her irritated but returns his attention to you.
Seeing Sam come out from the hallway and into the front of the home, you notice Emily gone and walk closer to him.
“Where did Emily go?” you ask.
“She’s in the shower. She smelled…Strange.” he says but takes a sniff as he moves a bit closer to where you were and wrinkles his nose, “No offense, but you smell worse.”
You look down and you hear the door close and find Jared looking tired as he comes in, “What’s that smell?”
“Y/N, come outside with me.” Paul says as he opens the door. Just from the force of the door opening, you knew it wasn’t for a good reason. Sighing, you ask in a small voice, “Why?”
He doesn’t even bother to answer your question as he looks at you with expectancy.
You slowly walk and grab your jacket.
Moving away from the front door, you both walk to the side front of Emily’s home.
“Did you lie to me?” Paul asks with narrowed eyes.
“About what?” you ask with a shrug.
“Anything. About where you were going or what?” he asks and as you open your mouth he says, “Don’t lie.”
“I told you I was going to Port Angeles and that’s where I was.” you tell him.
“There’s no way you were there with Emily and Kim the entire time. You’re fucking soaked in a leech’s scent.” he says and he’s trying his best to keep his soft trembles in control but he’s pacing a bit in order to do so.
“After I went to the record store, I did go to the library. Emily and Kim came and it was a total surprise. I didn’t even know they were going to be there.” you explain.
He gives you a long look, making you uncomfortable under such gaze. He knew you for some time to pick up on your behavior and body language. Something deep told him you were hiding something from him.
“Whose painting is in the cardboard box at home.” he asks with assertiveness.
“I-it’s.. Does it even matter?” Your heart was beating so hard it was pounding in your ears.
“Yes it does fucking matter.” he hissed and he then shakes his head, “What the hell is wrong with you? You’re lying to me now-”
“I didn’t lie!” you cry out.
“You’re telling me half truths! You think I don’t fucking know you?” He says. You do nothing but stare at the tree in front of you as you take in a shaky breath.
Jared comes out of the house next, walking right near where Paul was, close to the woods.
Not caring a person was outside with the both of you, he pressed on, “So whose is it?”
Jared awkwardly walked a bit, Sam was the one who sent Jared outside to tell Paul to come in.
When you don’t answer, Jared then moved beside Paul as he quickly says, “Sam wanted me to get you.”
Turning his face the side to face him, “Tell him to fucking wait.” Paul tells him coldly. He then turns back and look at you as your hands are stuffed in your pockets. You weren’t going to tell him in front of Jared.
Paul displays a sardonic expression as he then says, “It’s like that?”
He stomps past you but you call for him still, “Paul, just wait.” you say but he completely ignores you as he slapped the door closed behind himself.
You look down as you walk slowly to the porch steps and sit down.
“Why didn’t you just tell him?” Jared asks quietly in disbelief to you, he was one of the people who had faith in the relationship that you shared.
You shake your head as you stare ahead, “I don’t know.” you whisper to him. You genuinely didn’t.
Jared sits next to you on the steps but doesn’t say anything.
You both sat in silence until you hear the door close again but this time it was Kim.
You watch as she leaves from away from the house.
“You’re leaving?” he asks her.
She nods half heartedly, barely meeting his gaze. She then turns back around and walk in the direction of her home. Jared sucks in his teeth and you watch him as he looks to the sky, as of the sky would give him answers.
“I’m not the only one with problems after all.” you say quietly to him, trying to poke a joke at him.
Although he’s a bit glad that you’re trying to lighten up, he just couldn’t bring himself to do the same.
“It’s been like this for I don’t know how long.” Jared says.
“I don’t get it. She’s finally with you, what’s the problem?”
“She just keeps bringing up how…She feels trapped here. She did have plans to go to college but it’s not like I asked for this. She knew what it was when she accepted everything.”
“She blames you for not being able to leave?” you ask surprised.
“Pretty much. She even says shit that tear me down and…” he says and shakes his head, “I guess seeing people start their fall classes must’ve made her feel some type of way. I don’t know.”
You look down as you felt bad for such things being done to him. You then knit your eyebrows together, “She can just do online.”
“I told her that. At least when you two were friends you would've talked some sense into her. I don’t know what’s going on with that chick.” he says and a moment later, he opens the door back up. You decide to get up and follow him in the house as he held the door open.
You catch a bit of what Sam is saying cautiously to Paul, “-You sure?”
You see a seething Paul sitting at the table with his arms crossed, carrying a heavy look at you as you entered in.
He rises, but you touch his arm with both hands as he doesn’t slow down from walking out.
He was moving faster than you as you clambered down the steps trying to keep up with him.
“Paul, I will tell you. I don’t know why I didn’t.” you say.
He stops but turns around.
“I know who it’s for. I want you to say it.” he says.
You felt nervous again but you still open your mouth to say, “Bella.”
He sighs and turns back around before you call him again. He stops but doesn’t turn around.
“I couldn’t just not give her anything.” you say.
“Just like how you couldn’t just leave her ass alone.” he says but turns around before taking small steps to you, “You don’t even smell like a regular leech running around here. You smell like a fucking Cullen.”
You blink and he shakes his head in such disappointment and walks towards the woods.
Leaving you there with that to sit on your brain, he doesn’t even bother to strip, phasing and ripping out of his clothes. Before you could blink, the silver wolf disappears into the trees.
Not even going back inside, you walk home. You hand touch your forehead as you walk and look down.
You felt so angry with yourself. Then again, you didn’t go to Port Angeles to see Edward. He told you that he came to see you out. You then thought about how that wouldn’t have been a possibility had you not agreed to Bella’s invitation to go over her house. But then, she would’ve figured out where you lived and you felt that was even worse.
You scrubbed your entire body head to toe in the shower before even thinking about doing anything else.
With a fan by the window, you blew out your troubles with the help of cannabis. You even sat after, just staring out the window into the night sky.
Laying in bed alone, you stay up as the birds chirped, waking up to start their day. You move to the other side and pull the covers over your head.
You woke up late, but woke up with a slight jump. The covers come from off of your head as you search the room. You remember what happened and you check to see if Paul came home. He didn’t.
A knock surprised you as the tv glowed to you and rise up to open it. Jared had the things that you bought from yesterday that you had left over Emily’s in his hands.
Taking it from him, you thank him.
“Did you see him?” you ask Jared as he turns to walk away.
“Nope. I’m heading to Sam’s though.”
“Wait, I’m coming with you.”
Throwing something quick on, you both walk to Sam and Emily’s.
Emily was out running errands but that didn’t stop Jared from helping himself make a meaty sandwich.
Sam was lounging on the sofa, you sit down in the loveseat. He turns the volume of the television down as you enter. He looks to you and you look to him.
“Where’s Paul.”
“He won’t phase back.” he says as if he’s been waiting to tell you this.
You softly sigh as you drop your head a bit.
“Y/N, I have to side with him on this one. I don’t know what you were thinking. Hanging with the Cullens? We told you about them.” Sam says.
“That’s the thing..I didn’t go out of my way to hang with them.” you say and shake your head.
“What happened?” he asks trying to get a clear understanding.
“I told the truth. I did go to Port Angeles, but Edward was there. He caught my cd player from dropping and we talked. We were close and his scent must’ve rubbed off on me.” you tell him.
“Why did he talk to you?” he then asked.
“His sister wanted to throw Bella a birthday party and she extended an invitation to me. I didn’t agree to go. Edward came to pass the message along. He then told me…Things.”
“What things?” Sam asks with all focus. Jared by then joins the room with the sandwich almost gone from his hands.
“He told me not to say anything.” you whisper as you put your hands on your face.
“Did he threaten you?” Sam says getting a bit worked up.
“No, no. It wasn’t in a threatening manner.” you say as you wring your fingers, “He told me about his family’s diet, what really happened to Bella in Phoenix…” you say as you tried to think back.
Both Sam and Jared share a look.
Jared suggested to Sam that you should see Old Quil.
“Why?” you question.
“You know a lot. He keeps track of everything. That’s how we know what we know now.” Sam says.
They both walk you to the home that belonged to him. The cane he had in his hand was gripped as he held the door open and looked at all three of you.
“Who’s this.” he asks as he looks at you.
“Y/N. Paul’s imprint.”
“Ohhh okay. How are you doing dear?” he asks in an ancient voice and his stoic expression turns friendly.
“Good..I guess.” you say quietly and Old Quil takes his eyes away from you and nod to both Sam and Jared.
“Tell him everything. Don’t be afraid.” Jared coaches and encourages you.
You watch as they both leave, Old Quil tells you that you can have a seat. He offers something to drink but you decline. The wisdom he carried oozes from his aura as he sits in the recliner across the sofa that you sat in.
He keeps a pipe in his mouth as he softly rocked as you tell him blow by blow, starting from the moment you met Bella Swan. You add that Edward didn’t want you to say anything and to keep it in the library.
“Well I’ll be damned. Vampires with abilities and all.” he says.
Paul did come home, dirty and naked. He found you not home and decided to pay a visit to Sam’s after he took a shower. Old Quil yells a come in as you both sat at a kitchen table with a pen and pad. He wanted to get word for word, not missing any details.
Paul slowly walks in as he takes in the sight.
You still light up when you see that it’s Paul. You get up and cautiously walk towards him but all is forgotten when he pulls you close and tightly hold you to him with his arms.
Sitting in Paul’s lap, you watch as Old Quil flipped through the inked soaked pages, satisfied with how much he was able to document.
“I think you should go.” The older man decided to you as he pulls off his reading glasses and fold them.
“Don’t piss me off.” Paul says, after he got a recap of everything.
“Watch your mouth.” he says sternly then says, “I’m serious. He willingly told her all of this just by one conversation. Imagine how much she could come back with from an entire family.”
“She dies, then what? She gets hurt then what?” Paul says, not even believing this person that he was taught to respect since a child, would suggest such a thing.
“They drink animal’s blood. He can’t even read her mind so he won’t know she told us. It’s helpful to know rather than be surprised. Don’t you have questions? There’s holes that need to be filled and they’ve been around longer than we have. Could the gene be intertwined with puberty to have boys change so young?” Old Quil inquires as he strokes his chin a bit.
Moving you off of his lap, he gets up and paced the small home as he clenched and unclenched his fists.
“Did you agree?” Paul says to you.
“I’m just finding out this suggestion now.”
“Do you agree?” he then asks, titling his head down at you, holding his gaze in yours.
You shrug and say, “I don’t know.” He scoffs and look away.
“We can play this smart you know. Find out what other abilities they have.” Old Quil cuts in with his thin tenor voice.
“Who gives a fuck? As long as they stay off of our land, they can fuck off for all we care!” Paul hisses.
“Your mouth is so disgusting.” the older man says as he shakes his head. He takes a blow from his pipe, “Just think about it, Y/N.”
That’s what Edward said.
“No!” Paul roars, putting his foot down. He then moves over to you, taking both cheeks in his hands as he jerks you a bit to get you to look at him. You do.
“You’re not going. You hear me?” he makes it clear to you. You say nothing as you look at his almost desperate face. He then calls your name with force when you don’t say anything. Trying not to let your face crumble, you swallowed the lump in your throat. You wanted to do what you could do to help but his expression spoke volumes.

life in the vivid dream - victoria x reader
The loss was great as the ashes were rubbed down and onto her face. Whom she loved was gone. Beheaded and burned was his fate.
A cool hand is placed on the red head’s shoulder.
“We should skip town.” Laurent says to her.
She felt like life was pointless. She lost the person she was supposed to spend forever with. Leaving town meant leaving him. This town captured their entire lifestyle. She just couldn’t throw it all away.
Laurent did end up leaving. Victoria was stuck.
The excitement of watching the werewolves chase her was the only thing that kept her alive. Flying through the trees, all it did was make her reminisce about her time with James when they hunted a massive wolf across the Siberian plains in the light of the full moon.
Diving into the sky and down in the murky water, the wolf huff in defeat as Victoria watch in satisfaction of her self preservation saving the day once again.
Putting one foot forward on a tree branch, Victoria gracefully leaped about in the forest. She spent most of her time outside, in the forest, anywhere to not bring up memories of James.
Hearing a tree branch beneath her, she braced herself as a delicious smelling human muttered and walked, oblivious to what was happening above them. The smell of fear stuck out to her nose.
Dropping down, not even creating a noise of her action, Victoria watched as the person grudgingly walked towards the same cliff that she soared from earlier.
Life was dragging you down as your footsteps shuffled across the leaves and dirt.
You clenched your fists tight as you stared down at the scenery below you. The waves crashed with fluidity as you felt your stomach clench.
Victoria watched you curiously as she didn’t know what you were going to do next.
Moving out of dodge, she hears a loud and demanding voice screaming for your name. She watched the terrified look on your face be painted as you looked behind yourself.
Hearing them come closer, you leap down as you fall through the sky and into the water.
Not even having to know by mouth, she sensed the danger that the person coming after you, exuded anger and frustration.
Watching them leave, she then dives into the water to see if she could find that delicious smelling human again.
Scouring through the water, she finds you floating down with all signs of submission to the current.
Pulling you out, you cough up a huge gulp of water as you heave out.
Your chest pumping up and down, she watches as you catch your breath.
She doesn’t speak, the vibrant red scorching eyes stare down at you.
They startled you as you froze with both fear and shock. How did this beautiful woman look so ferocious? You’ve never seen someone’s eye color be the actual color red.
You watch as this woman picks up your wrist, bring it to her mouth with no warning as she bit down hard on your flesh. As you screamed and kicked, she didn’t budge nor move. She was so strong.
You felt like you were going to die. Withering in pain, you wished you did.
Everything was crystal clear. Bright. Shiny. Everything moved slow as you took in your surroundings with your newly found vision.
The burning sensation surrounded your throat as you held into it with your hand.
Victoria smiles with a high pitched voice, it was the first time you've heard her speak, "Would you like revenge?"
Your mind flashed to all of the beatings you've had to endure. This person held a power struggle over you for so many years. You thought about death, but you didn't want to end your life under someone who wanted control over you. Escaping was your last resort, he found you. Jumping off of the cliff was your hope. '
You nod as you feel hurt, agony, and anger flow through your cold body.
Zipping and zooming through the trees, you felt so free. Leading Victoria to the old home that once you've shared with your bully of a spouse, you stared at it with hatred. The home contained memories of tears and pleads. They both went unnoticed. There was no sympathy for you in this home.
You could hear the voice, the voice that you hated inside of the home.
"Its been days. I swear to God, when I find-"
You don't wait any longer as you pushed open the door, breaking the doorknob right off. You took an unnecessary breath as you smelled the deliciousness right before you.
Victoria watched on standby as your eyes got dark and hungry. She couldn't help but bring the corner of her lip up, feeling amused. She hadn't met anyone who wanted to do justice as much as her.
The bug eyed person, the person who claimed to be inferior, was shaking as the sight of you.
Smacking the telephone out of their hand, your hand was trapped around their throat as they pleaded, just like you did. Your head cocked to the side in a lupine way, enjoying this sight of deja vu.
It was their turn to be weak as you throw this not so strong person to the wall. A hole was formed from both the force of the throw and their body. You crept to them as they held out a hand, "Please." they begged.
Ravaging them, blood was around you as you got a taste of the coppery liquid for the first time. It felt like you could feel it all throughout your body. You felt stronger, feeling a sense of victory, as you looked upon the dead body at your feet.
Feeling Victoria's cool lips, they touch your ear as she says, "I need my revenge as well."
Staring into her red irises, you make a short nod. You've wondered if she had been hurt as well, you wondered if someone made her feel weak just like someone tried to make you. You both zoom out of the home, satisfied with plans being carried out. Plans of hopefulness for the future in a very long time.
