hurt/comfort with vigilante! izuku where he reunites with his s/o has been plaguing my thoughts 😭
Let me relieve you my darling<33
You were in your room staring up at the ceiling, something you found yourself doing time and time again these past months. Insomnia was a bitch and it seemed to have taken over you as a whole, engulfing you in its dreadful misery, making you stay up despite feeling tired. You were stuck, all because of him.
Thinking about how your oh so selfless and caring boyfriend left you... and your friends of course. He held you close, incredibly close the night before he departed. He spoke such sas words with such huge meanings, yet you were so tired and in such peace in his arms, you hadn't even noticed he was saying goodbye. He knew what he was going to do and told you goodbye. It made you feel so guilty waking up the next morning to see everyone standing in the middle of the lounge with saddened expressions slathered across their faces.
They held pieces of paper that you didn't have. They explained to you what it said in a long story short and it broke your heart. Then was when you finally pieces together what he was saying to you the night before. it broke you terribly so.
Thinking about that horrible day made you turn over in your bed and cry. You cried and cried and cried into your pillow silently. Sniffling and hiccuping as far tears rolled down your cheeks, your eyes reddening from how hard you were crying. You were crying so much it hurt, your throat was aching and your head was pounding. You had cried for the rest of the night.
The day completely flew by in a blur, you didn't take down any notes during class, hardly interacted with anyone at all, didn't eat during lunch. You were completely heartbroken for so long and it's affected your daily necessities. Once you'd read online how a broken heart can kill, sometimes during the night when you're crying you think about that and it leads to a panic attack. Your nights are restless and cruel. How you hated them, but you didn't hate them more than you did the day. They were long and tiring and so so so draining.
You found yourself once again, lying restless in your bed. Thinking about your oh so cruel and selfless boyfriend once again. One thing that kept crossing your mind was if he still thinks about you. Or at all in that fact, you wondered if he still considered you his girlfriend despite the two of you not being near each other for about 2 months.
You sigh at the thought, feeling the annoying and painful tinge of tears filling at your waterline. Just before you could turn over and do your routine all over again you hear a knock at your window. You jumped, startled at the sound that erupted from the balcony.
You gulped and wiped what little tears you needed to and got up, legs wobbly and you stumbled your way to your balcony opening it and walking outside and looking out in the distance. You seen a night sky and a crescent moon, no stars but some clouds present. The trees leafs billowing in the wind, you take a deep breath in and let the crisp night breeze fan your face. Closing your eyes you exhale and suddenly feel extremely relaxed. Like this is what you needed.
You hum, a small smile trickling to your face, tugging at the corners of your lips. Basking in this moment you're suddenly taken by surprise, whole body being grasped and flown into the air, you nearly scream but couldn't get a sound out as something, a hand wrapped around your mouth. You continued to try and scream through the hand covering your mouth before you hear a shushing sound. The person behind you shushing you as they held you close to their chest.
"shh.., it's okay. calm down. It's alright, I've got you.."
The voice, despite being muffled and somewhat deepened and groggy, sounded vaguely familiar. Scratch that, completely familiar, a voice you prayed you hear again. Every single night you prayed and prayed and prayed silently that he would come back to you, that he would come and get you. At least let you know he was okay.
Tears spilled from your eyes uncontrollably, you hiccupped and tried to catch your breath before you were swiftly turned around and your face was buried into his filthy chest. He reeked, he smelled so bad yet you couldn't begin to care. This proved it, he had thought about you. He cared about you. He..
" I love you..."
You couldn't muster words, choking on air as he rubbed circles into your back. You sniffed and wailed into his chest loudly. He brought you to the roof and sat you both down, holding you tightly.
"izu.. izuku.. how could- could you leave like that?! It- you—"
When you finally looked up to him you seen his dingy and dirty mask, it was ripped and kind of overed in muck and debris. Your wailing stopped as you looked at him, his face turning away. You pulled him back by his mask before trying to lift it slightly before he pulled it back down.
"izuku..."
You tried again, a lot slower and gentler this time in hopes he'd let you see his face, it had been 2 months after all. To your surprise, he let you. You took his mask off lifting it over his head, once it was finally off his eyes were slightly squinted, it'd been a while since he took off that mask. Seeing through a dark mask all the time might have a bad effect on your eyes.
You sighed at his face, all sad and tired the bags under his eyes were worse than yours. He looked dead, pale, completely ghost like. It was startling. Your rat of sunshine who brightened everyone's day was dimmer, he was completely burned out. It hurt you to see him this way.
"y/n... I can't comeback.. not yet."
"wait what?! no no no no you- you have too! you-"
Izuku bit his lip trying to hold back his tears before he kissed you, his soft yet dried lips capturing yours and holding them there. He breathed in through his nose and held his breath trying to stay in this moment with you for as long as possible before it broke.
He placed his forehead to yours and his breath was wavery, shaking. He sniffed having a hard time holding back his tears. He wrapped his arms around you in a sweet embrace and snuggled his face in your neck.
"I'm sorry."
AN: ah, a shitty ending to a shitty story. As much as I enjoyed creating this I feel like it's lacking a huge hint of flavour, alas I am too lazy to change it around. So enjoy!

Izuku
-He was so confused at first, then in disbelief and angry.
Izuku had worked himself up for mouths to finally ask you out. He’s been hinting at how he feels for you but you never seem to notice. All he could do each day was think about you, how he wanted to hold you in his arms and kiss you. He wanted to show you the world and all it could be.
So, he waited till you both got off of patrol and chased after you.
Hearing your name you turn around to see the green haired man running after you like a crazy man, flying so fast with a red tint on his face. Then to stop and huff in front of you, he laughed nervously.
“Deku? You okay…” you question and tilt your head. He couldn’t get enough of how cute you looked.
“Hmm, just want to tell you something.” He smiled and said it like a known fact. You wait for him to say something while you stand still, just waiting….Until he was just staring at you in silence.
You wave your hands in front of his face and he turned the shade of a tomato for a minute while jumping out of his skin. You were confused, he was acting strange? He hasn’t been this nervous in a while.
“Okay- Well” he takes a deep breath and then pours his heart out in a shout, “I like you- A lot. I have since you first showed me your quirk and flashed that smile. So, I want to ask you out on a date?”
Izuku came up with many scenarios of what could happen when he confessed. Like you laughing at him, rejecting him easily or harshly, even if you hit him! He planned for everything…
Expect to see you glare harshly at him, one that sent a chill down his spin. Your body tensed and your hands gripped on your bag.
“Real fuckin’ funny, deku. What? Did Bakugo set you up to this?” You spit at him. “Never thought you’d be the person to do this, is this for a prank show?” Your chest lets out a deep and angry chuckle.
He stared at you with his face drained and eyes staring wide. Was this his imagination? What are you even talking about. Did he say something wrong, he’s never seen you like this before. Cold and mean.
“Nothing to say?” You click your tongue and huff. “This isn’t a funny joke! It’s-” he watches you tear up and push a finger in his chest, “It’s cruel.”
“What the hell are you taking about?” He has no idea how much your words affect him. His chest was filling up with anger and his brows frown.
“Don’t act like you actually like me! You aren’t the first person to ask me out on a date as a prank! Or hell, even a bet!” You cross your arms and flare your nostrils.
Oh..
His eyes soften and swallow at your now trembling figure, looking so small now and shaking. Like he was a villain to make you feel worthless.
“You think I’m joking?” His hushed tone made you blink away some of the tears and whip them off quickly, nodding your head you bite your lip.
“You can tell whoever that you got me! Get your points or win, I don’t care.” You fix yourself and looked at the ground. You move backwards and turn around to walk away from him.
Izuku watched for a few seconds until he knew he couldn’t have you thinking this was for anyone else but himself. Grabbing your arm he turned you around and into his chest, coming face to face with his.
He had his serious and frustrated face, when he gets passionate. “I want you, I need you in my life. I don’t know who before made you feel like you were just a joke, but they don’t deserve anything. I want a date, a real one with fancy clothes and food.”
Your wide eyes stare in his, looking surprised. Your bodies were so close and he held you so tightly, his body was warm. “Just you and me.” He’s eyes flashed panicked as he looked between your eyes.
He heard your breath hitch and how hesitant you were to trust him. He wanted to know the battle you fought inside your head inside and out, so he could defeat them for you.
“Promise?” That small sparkle of hope made him smile.
“Promise.”
Katsuki
- He’s pissed off, man has no clue what the hell you are talking about. And how you could think he’d do something so stupid?
We all know Katsuki never half asses anything, like anything. If he didn’t want you around you simply wouldn’t. So when Katsuki knew for sure he was ready to be in a relationship, he wasn’t going to let it be half asses. You were going to be his, he would give you everything.
So, he asked you plain out. Invite you out to a restaurant and to walk around your favorite part of the city. He enjoyed how talkative you got when you were happy, so this would be just right for you.
Then you flat out yelled and him.
“What the hell are you talking about?” Being so confused his loud voice rang through the empty park.
You roll your eyes, “You don’t think I know when a trick is played on me?” You ask with a pointed glare. “Look, you aren’t the first.”
Trick? You think he’s joke about this shit?
“Huh?! You think I’d take the time out of my day, but your ass food and do your favorite thing- Just to prank you?” He shouted.
“Don’t flip this on me! I know this is just a joke, ask out the “weird” person right? They must be so easy? Is that it? Want to seem so much better then everyone.”
Then he was completely enraged. He couldn’t help the blood pumping through his body as he gripped his fists.
“How fuckin’ dare you.” He stepped closer. “You think that low of me?” You matched his glare and stood your ground.
“I didn’t think you were the person to do it. But here you are.”
“Oh?” His tone growled out and tilted his head. His dark smirk sent chills down your spine. “And who are you to tell me what I feel like?”
You felt your self becoming sick and you tried not to let it get to you. But this wasn’t how you thought your relationship would go, him turning out like everyone else.
“I know that everyone always likes to pull this shit on me! Ask me out, not show or laugh in my face! Who set you up to this Huh?”
Clicking his tongue he turned away from you, “You’re so stupid.”
“No. I am just know when I am being tricked.” He looked back at you with a daring smile.
“Oh yeah?” He laughed and crosses his arms like this was so funny. Making you break.
“This isn’t a joke! And it’s not funny.” You stomp your foot and started to get so overwhelmed and tear up. How could he be so cruel? Why does everyone do this.
He yanked your hands and pushed you to the nearest bench, you protested and squirmed but he was stronger then you. “Sit still!” He demanded as his hands pressed down on your shoulders.
You sink down and just do as he says to make this situation go faster. “You listen, got it?” He stared at you seriously. You take a minute and nod your head, his sigh made you sink farther down.
“This wasn’t a joke. I first noticed how beautiful you were when you feel asleep on my shoulder after training. I like when your cheeks puff out when you eat, or that crinkle in your nose. I like how you look around if anyone notices when you fail in training. I like it when you call me “Suki” and how it makes me feel.” His cheeks heated up at admitting theses things but it was all true.
“I wouldn’t ask you out as a joke, and you thinking that is fucked up. I don’t deal with stupid people. Tell me,” he pulled out his phone and clicked around a few and then shoved the bright screen in your face. A picture of you asleep on his shoulder with drool on his shoulder and him looking so calm. “Would I let anyone do that? No, only you.”
You could feel your heart beat up and lungs losing air. Your head ran with thoughts as you looked at him. He was serious? And you just said all those horrible things to him.
“You mean- You actually like me?” Your voice and question made him laugh and shove his phone back in his pocket.
“Maybe I do hang out with stupid people.” Okay, you deserve that honestly.
You take a breath and cover your face. “Shit.” You groan and lean back without looking at him. How could you look at him again, maybe you just wouldn’t for the rest of your life.
“M’sorry.” The word muffled in your hands and he looked down at you. He loves how embarrassed you looked, hiding your face from him. But he didn’t want you to overthink anything.
His hands wrap around your wrist and pull them away from your face. You didn’t look at him at all still but he just leaned down closer, “Look at me.” His demand was soft and quiet, so unlike him. When he found your eyes again he felt himself at ease.
“I’ll bellow up those fuckers that pulled that shit on you. I don’t have time to play games. So, go on a date with me and have a good time.” There was that voice again. His loud voice to cover his emotions.
“If you’ll have me.” Your eyes looked so soft and sad. Like he would still rejected you.
“Be waiting for you. And i wouldn’t want anyone else.”
Kirishima
- Completely taken aback. He was frozen and confused, then sad and angry. His heart was broken.
Kirishima was a man, and a good man. He kicked himself for months because he wanted to ask you out but didn’t want to ruin anything. You were just so sweet and beautiful, his heart flattered when he saw you smile.
Of course he wanted to ask you out! So, he worked up himself like izuku and made sure to be on top of his game. He would style his hair, clean up after a long day and check himself out in the mirror. He had to look best for you, like a man!
He waited until you got done with your work and headed home to ask you for a date. He was waiting for you by the door with a huge but nervous smile. His chest was filling up with butterflies,
“Y/n! Over here.” He waves you down. You looked at him and smile as you march towards him. Your regular clothes looking amazing on you, he could tell the day was rough for you but you still looked as beautiful as aways.
“Hello, good work today kiri!” Your praise made him blush harder and scratch his neck. His ego growing. “Need to teach me some of your moves.”
Okay, he needs to cool himself down. You are just too cute and pretty, he finally had you alone and ready to ask you out.
“Actually, um.” He looked at you with a wide mouth before clearing his throat. “I was going to get some food, maybe I can tell you there?”
You thought about it for a minute. You have gotten food before with him so it’s not weird. So you nod. “Sure!”
“Actually, I had something else planned.” You watch him blink, he watches you tilt your head. “I wanted to ask out on a date. Right now, to any restaurant you want of course.”
Your body tenses and hand comes to clinch your chest, looking around for the hidden camera. His smile seemed real but you knew the truth, this was a cruel prank.
“Not funny kiri.” Your voice sounded different as you got angry. You turn your head and cross your arms, “Think this is funny? What kind of a friend are you!” You shout making him sink back.
He was now frozen with his face white and smile gone. He stared at you confused and unknowing what to say.
“I’m sorry..But, what are you talking about?” You only huff at his words and puff your cheeks and chest out.
“Don’t play dumb! I know what this is,” you turn around and look for someone, “He got me! Really funny.”
Kiri stepped closer and looked to where you looked, “Y/n, it’s just you and me here.”
“Oh, so you just wanted to see for yourself what i would do? Because asking me out is so fucking funny. Well,” you hit his chest. “It’s not!”
Your words and hands feel like knives. You have never seemed so loud and broken before or yelled at him before. He wanted to tear up with you.
“I don’t think it’s funny, what are you talking about?” His hands covered the yours that rested on his chest. “Did I say something wrong?”
You tear up fully and start to cry, “I know kiri, no use of hiding it. I know this is just some stupid prank to get me to feel bad about myself and you won! Just like all the others.” You try to pull away from him but his body moves on its own and keeps you from moving.
His blood starts to rise and his teeth start to show. You think this is a prank, that he was just doing this to make you cry? And what others? Oh, this was making him pissed.
“Who did it? I’ll talk to them, that’s so unmanly! Hurting someone like that?” He leans down to you, “Let alone you…that’s the most cruel thing I have heard.”
You blink up at him, your arms struggling to pull back come to a stop. “What do you mean? You did it to.” Your voice broke and didn’t sound as angry but disappointed.
“I would never. I’m not joking y/n, I want to take you out on a date. Even more now to show you that you can be loved, like I do! Please give me a chance, you are the only person I think about!” He backs away from you and bows his head to plead.
“Let me take you out on this one date and if you don’t like it, then I can deal with it! A man has to step up. I wanna go out with you so bad!”
You stare down at him in shock at his outburst as he begs you…no one has done that before. Kiri didn’t seem like the type of guy to ever joke about this..But why would he want you?
Sighing you look away, heat coming to your cheeks. He asked you out and you just made a scene. “You mean it?”
His head shot like a dog and nodded his head quickly, “It will be the best date you ever had! I’ll even buy you dessert.” He poked out his chest with pride and now a smile to convince you.
“Fine! But if you think-” your eyes wide and throat close up as he smashes his lips onto yours. You feel yourself growing weak and unable to move.
He pulls away quickly with a blush at his cheeks, “I am serious, did that prove something?”
“P-Point proven.” He smirks at his victory and takes you by the hand to show you a wonderful night.
Tamaki
-He’s so stressed and sad, he’s confused. This one might hurt.
Tamaki gets embarrassed so easily but when he is around you something just happens to him. He’s so fluster and can’t look at you but at the same time he’s calm and needs your company. Tamaki finds himself thinking about you and your smile, how soft you look to hold. But why would you want someone like him? Someone who hides and stutters all the time.
Until he was forced to ask you out by Mirio. If he didn’t tell you then mirio would have to tell you himself. And Tamaki almost fainted on the spot. How could he face you?
So he went to your office, stuttering already and panicked. When he knocked on your door he hoped you wouldn’t be there.
“Hello,” you greet the person with a smile that only brightens when you realize it was him, “Tamaki, come in.” You open the door for him and he walks In quickly.
Your office was just like you. He loved how you made this place just as your own, it made him feel safe.
“What’s up? Need another pair of hands on a mission?” You walk back to your desk and near your gear that you needed to take off. He cleared his throat.
“N-no, actually, I have something to say.” You turn to look at his tense frame. “Oh?” Then he turned his face around and took a deep breath.
“Mirio helped me with this. Close your eyes and say what’s one your heart. Um- Okay, okay.” He whispers to himself and tightens his fists. You arch a brow and watch him curiously.
He takes a deep breath then begins to stutter and trip over his words, “W-Wanna take you out- On a date.” His voice breaks loudly. “I hope I did it right..” I wishes to himself breathy and panting.
You stare at the back of his head and place your hands on your desk..Mirio must have set him up to this. Must have felt pity for you, or to do this as a joke.
“I can’t believe you both- I’m not a bet or a joke.” He jumps out of his skin at your shouting voice. His head runs quickly at what he must have said to make you yell at him.
“This isn’t- Oh no, not how I want this to go.” He closes his eyes and shakes a bit.
“Oh? Wanted me to say yes so you guys can laugh? Or, what? Get brownie points for asking me out? Out of pity!” There you go shouting again.
Tamaki has never heard you yell like this, unless it’s a villain…is he a villain? No, he can’t be. But his ears heat up and he sinks into his clothes.
“No…I just wanted to go out with you.” He spoke louder but still hesitant in himself. He stayed still for your next words but they never come.
Only a sniffle.
You lean down on your desk and sob while trying to stay quiet. You thought that Mirio and tamaki were your friends, and would never hurt you.
He turned his head around and something twisted in his stomach to make him feel sick. Seeing you with tears rolling down your face and sink into your own skin like him, made him feel horrible.
“I didn’t mean to make you cry,” he walked toward. You grip on the desk and let out a soft chuckle, “That’s what happens when you pull a prank on someone.”
It clicked in his brain finally that you thought he wasn’t serious. Like he just treating you less and as a joke. It was harsh to think of him like that.
“Y/n..” he walks closer to you as you stiffen the closer he got, you sob harder.
“I get it, you can tell miriro you got me.”
“Y/n.” He said clear and without a stutter, his face and body now on the side of you. “I am in love with you.” Your breath hitched and he hears it.
“You make me wanna be brave. I can’t help but get flustered and shy around you because- Well because you’re so pretty and nice. But I want to take you out..” he leans closer as you look up at him. “I want..” he trails of and glances into your eyes with matching tears curl up in his eyes.
“I want you.”
You take a deep breath and stand up straight. You feel heat raise up in your body of embarrassment, “M’sorry.” You sob again and throw your arms around his shoulders and pull him closer.
And he’s back to being a melted mess as you hold him close. He blushes and softly wraps his arms around you and pats your back lightly. “D-Does this mean you’ll go on a date with me?”
You chuckle and pull away from him and whip off your own tears as his hands stay on your hips. “If you don’t hate me.” You nod and sniffle one more time. He smiles,
“I Could never hate you.”

MISSING A DATE . they forget about a big date with you and realize it too late
with deku + bakugou (in their pro-hero era)
one thing about him is that he always tried his absolute best to make time for you amid his busy schedule. you understood that you weren't the only one that demanded his attention due to his work and were okay with that. as long as you still got your 'me-time' with him, where he blocked out the world and focused on you and only you, you couldn't ask for a more perfect relationship.
but this was your last straw. you had forgiven the late nights, the last-minute cancellations—gotten used to being alone in your luxurious apartment, which only reminded you of the one thing you were missing.
you had planned this date for months. a set time where you both blocked off time that night to just be with each other in a word that tried everything to keep you apart.
"remember tonight, baby." you chirped as you kissed him goodbye that morning.
he hummed and gave you a tight hug before leaving.
you felt giddy as you prepared yourself, slipping into your best clothes and fixing yourself in the mirror. you felt as you did on the night of your first date with him. you couldn't be more excited.
then, you waited. and waited. the restaurant happily sat you next to a window, the streetlamps twinkling romantically against the dusky backdrop.
you waited some more. soon your bright posture slouched as your checked your phone. messaged him a couple times, called a few times more. he's probably just running late.
families came and went, and before you knew it, hours had passed.
you burned in embarrassment as you stared at the empty chair across from you, focusing your frustration as if he was sitting there. but even that didn't give you relief. every one of your thoughts and feelings came to the same conclusion—
he hadn't shown up.
IZUKU
you ordered some food to-go. why not get something out of this outing? besides, the food would do good to distract you from the dread swirling in your stomach. you flashed the server a quick smile before dragging your feet out the restaurant.
you threw your bag, coat, and shoes to the ground as you walked into your apartment, uncaring of where they ended up. you needed the couch, a movie, and the food you were carrying.
a few hours later, izuku showed up. you heard the door slide open and the jangle of his keys. his heavy sigh was familiar and it almost made you feel bad for feeling so angry about him missing this date. almost.
you made no move to greet him as he entered the living space, a big grin plastered on his face. "you look pretty."
the compliment was just salt on the wound, ironically. you hummed, remaining laser focused on your show.
he tugged off his white gloves and set them on the table. "what's got you all dressed up tonight, hmm?" he sat next to you, running his hands up and down your arm.
you just handed him one of the takeout boxes. "want some?" you said dryly.
"what's this—? oh, i recognize the name of this restaurant..." he surveyed the box in his hands, his voice becoming quieter as he sunk into his thoughts. "oh."
you got off the couch.
"oh." he repeated, staring at the takeout box incredulously. "baby, don't tell me tonight was—"
"it was." you said simply, walking into the bedroom. you couldn't bear to look at him.
"fuck." you heard him hiss. a light thudding followed as he hurried after you. "y/n, god, i'm so sorry—don't tell me you went there alone—"
"izuku, i don't care anymore." you turned around abruptly, making him skid to a halt before you. his expression read shock. "i don't."
he slumped and inched closer to you. "no, don't say that—"
"you don't give me a reason to care anymore." you laughed wryly though your lips trembled. "i—" your breath hitched and you turned away from him.
his voice sounded watery as he tried to turn your body to face him again. "i'm so sorry, there was a hangout at the agency after work today and... shit, i totally forgot—"
"a fucking party?" you snapped. "you blew off the date you and i planned for months in advance because we never get to spend time together anymore to hang out with the same goddamn people you see every single day?"
he groaned. "i know, i know—"
"you don't know, izuku." your voice quivered. "you don't, okay?" you sobbed.
he was stunned to silence, unsure of how to right something so horribly wrong.
"you don't know what it's like to always be waiting. i'm always waiting for you. you always have something better to do." you sobbed, sitting on the edge of the bed. you really didn't want to have this conversation with him; you knew you'd break down sobbing. you thought it would've been best if he didn't come back home at all.
he knelt beside you, resting his head where your knees hung over the bed. he stared up at your heartbroken face with tears threatening to flow. "there is nothing that deserves my time more than you." he said firmly.
"you say that as if it's true." you said quietly. "but you don't even..." you looked away from him to reign in your emotions.
he frowned deeply. he knew it was all his fault. you reminded him this morning and he still forgot. you had no reason to believe the words coming out of his mouth. that doesn't mean he's going to stop trying to prove them.
he rested his head against your stomach and wrapped his arms around you tightly. "you have every right to hate me right now, y/n. you've been lonely and overlooked and i haven't done anything to make things better."
you refused to look at him.
he tilted his head with hopes of catching your gaze. "y/n, i mean it. there's nothing that deserves my time more than you. anyone else would've left me. you've given me love and understanding with my hero work..." he choked on his words, finally facing the reality of his relationship. "and i've just taken it and left you behind."
you sniffled.
he stood, bending at the waist to kiss your forehead. "i love you. so much. it's time i start proving it, huh?"
your eyes flickered to his, questioning evident on your expression.
he smiled sadly. "japan has many heroes. i'm sure kacchan and todoroki can handle things without me for a while."
you huffed and rolled your eyes. "very funny. you're a hero, izuku, it's in your nature to shoulder everything." you pouted, guilt threatening to inhabit your thoughts.
he shook his head, cupping your cheeks in his hands. "i'm dead serious. the world doesn't need me everyday, you do. and i'll adjust my schedule to suit."
"but..." you groaned. "god, why do i feel guilty now?" you mumbled.
"stop it. you're not keeping me away from anything. this was long overdue. nothing would make me happier," he grinned and kissed you again before tackling you in a hug.
BAKUGOU
you left the restaurant without another word, feeling so sick to the stomach that you couldn't even bear to go home to the empty apartment.
you tried desperately to convince yourself that something important was holding him up. he didn't forget. he just had some life-threatening epic battle that he needed to attend to. he didn't forget.
you crashed at a friend's house for the night, after a very satisfying rant session about your dilemma. they were a great soundboard and didn't try to regulate your emotions. in a lot of cases, just letting your feelings fly free was the best way to cope with a situation out of your hands.
rrrring rrring
you saw the caller ID and was tempted to ignore the call. but your hands moved on their own, accepting it and putting the phone to your ear.
"y/n l/n." bakugou snarled on the other side. "where the fuck are you?"
"a friend's house."
"why?"
you shrugged, hoping your unbothered reaction would be translated across the phone. "wanted to be with someone last night after my boyfriend stood me up."
silence. a very long silence. you heard him cuss under his breath before he replied. "yesterday was our date."
you hummed.
"y/n. come home."
"i'm good here, really."
"i'm serious, come home."
"why? the off-chance of seeing you there?"
his voice grew more desperate. "y/n—" his breath caught in his throat. "i'm home. i'm waiting for you. we can do something today, maybe—"
"katsuki, you can't keep treating me like a test that you can make up whenever you fail the real thing. you're not there when it fucking matters." you snapped, your resolve crumbling as your eyes started to water.
he gave a weighted sigh. "you're right. i've been treating you like shit."
you scoffed.
"but you're always on my mind. every time i see you asleep when you were trying to wait up for me, i—" he inhaled deeply, trying to keep it together. "i'm not the best boyfriend. believe me, i know that. and i'm losing you... i can see that, too."
you waited.
he sniffed. "come home, y/n. please. i—"
you hung up. you tossed your phone aside and stretched. you gently wiped at your cheeks, realizing how many tears streaked them.
after thanking your friend for their hospitality, you decided to go home. you dreaded the conversation that awaited you. uncertainty riddled your thoughts; was this the end?
you opened the door and immediately heard pounding footsteps to meet you. bakugou stood there, looking uncharacteristically stressed and awkward.
you just gave him a passing glance as you slipped off your shoes, hanging your coat up. you walked past him, going to the washroom to refresh yourself with a much needed shower.
as the water ran down your skin, you began to feel guilty. he was a hero. he saved lives. and you were crying over a missed date with him? when his mere presence meant the safety of those around him?
no matter how valid your frustration and sadness was, you couldn't help the creeping guilt from overwriting your feelings.
you stepped out of the shower, then dressed comfortably for a night in. when you opened the bathroom door, he was waiting outside like a puppy.
you sighed. "i'm sorry." you finally said.
his neck snapped to look at you. "why the fuck are you apologizing?"
"you're a hero. i knew what i'd be signing up for when i got into a relationship with you—"
"are you crazy?" he growled, grabbing your cheeks and tilting your face to look at him. he searched your eyes with concern, as if there was something wrong with you. "you don't need to apologize. my being a hero is no excuse for the way i've been treating you."
you frowned. "but—"
"no." he pulled you into a hug, wrapping his arms around your head. "you—" he laughed dryly. "i can't believe you thought to apologize to me. you're really crazy."
you opened your mouth to say something, but he cut you off. "i'm so lucky to have you. seriously. i can't live without you and i will do everything to prove that from now on."
you pulled away and looked at him. "you better mean it."
he gave you a lopsided grin. "i do. thanks..." he trailed off.
you cocked your head to the side. "for...?"
he kissed you gently. "staying." he hugged you tightly, his next words barely a whisper, "i'm always gonna be there for you."
amidst a couple of tears, you believed him.

KATSUKI BAKUGO
Katsuki Bakugo was never one to show weakness. To him, emotions were a distraction, a vulnerability that could get in the way of his goal—becoming the strongest hero. That’s why he kept his distance from everyone. He didn’t need anyone. He didn’t need their pity, their concern, or their soft words. He didn’t have time for people who couldn’t keep up with his pace.
But there was one person who was different. You.
You weren’t like the others. You weren’t fragile or weak. You were… sunshine, a light in his life that made him feel things he didn’t want to feel. You had this ability to make him want to protect you, even when he didn’t understand why. Even when he told himself over and over again that he wasn’t the type of guy who needed to be there for anyone.
But the thing was, you needed him. He saw it in the way your eyes lost their usual sparkle, how you would shut yourself off from the world, retreating inward whenever things got tough. And today? Today, it was different. You’d been so distant lately, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.
It was after class when he saw you. The common room was nearly empty, and you were sitting in one of the far corners, curled up on a couch, your knees pulled tightly to your chest. You didn’t even look up when he walked in—just stared blankly at the floor, lost in your own world. The usual lightness you brought to the room was gone, replaced by a heaviness that hung in the air.
Katsuki’s heart skipped a beat, but he refused to acknowledge it. He hated feeling this way. He wasn’t supposed to feel bad for you. He wasn’t supposed to care. But fuck, he did. And that pissed him off.
He gritted his teeth as he approached you. “Oi, Y/N,” he called, his voice sharper than he intended. “What the hell’s wrong with you? You’ve been acting like a damn zombie all week. Say something.”
You didn’t respond, your eyes barely flicking in his direction. That was when he felt it—this weird lump in his throat, the kind he hated. Why the hell did he care so much? Why did it bother him so much to see you like this?
He stood there for a moment, staring down at you, feeling the frustration bubbling up inside. “Dammit,” he muttered under his breath, and before he could talk himself out of it, he dropped down onto the couch next to you.
You didn’t move away from him, but you didn’t lean into him either. The space between you felt… different. It wasn’t like before when you could laugh together, joke around, or just enjoy each other’s company. Now, everything felt so damn heavy, and it crushed him to see you like this.
“I’m not gonna sit here and let you fucking ignore me,” Katsuki said, more forceful than he meant. He wasn’t good with soft stuff, and god knows he hated it. But seeing you like this, looking so lost, made him feel like he was going to lose his mind.
You finally glanced at him, but it wasn’t the usual look of affection or playful teasing. No, your eyes were dull, and your lips barely formed a faint, tired smile. It made his stomach twist.
“Y/N…” His voice softened. He didn’t know what to say, but the words spilled out before he could stop them. “Don’t hide from me. I’m not fucking stupid. I know when something’s wrong. I’m not gonna leave you alone like this.”
You blinked at him, almost surprised by the intensity in his voice. He could feel his chest tighten. He wasn’t good at showing this side of him—wasn’t even sure if he wanted to—but with you? With you, it was different.
For a moment, he was frozen, unsure of how to proceed. He was so used to being alone, so used to pushing others away. But now, with you sitting beside him, so fragile, so broken, he couldn’t just turn his back.
Katsuki reached out, his hand shaking just slightly as he grabbed your wrist gently, pulling you toward him. It was an awkward motion—definitely not smooth, definitely not how he’d imagined it. But it didn’t matter.
You tensed for a second, and for a heartbeat, he thought you might pull away. But then, slowly, you leaned into him. Katsuki could feel the weight of your head rest against his shoulder, your breath shaky as you held back the tears. He clenched his jaw, feeling the pressure build in his chest.
“Don’t cry,” he muttered gruffly, even though he didn’t know what else to say. He wasn’t good at this comforting thing. Not like Deku, not like Kirishima. But he was good at protecting you. That was what mattered right now. He could give you that.
You didn’t say anything. You just cried, silently, your body trembling as you let the emotions spill over. Katsuki, despite everything, couldn’t stop his hand from moving to your back, rubbing it in slow, soothing circles.
“I don’t know what the fuck you’re going through,” he said quietly, his voice surprisingly soft, “but I know you’re stronger than this. I’m not letting you just fall apart and pretend it’s all fine.”
You snuck a glance up at him, eyes filled with a mix of sadness and gratitude. The sight made his chest tighten, but he wouldn’t pull away. No, not now. Not when you needed him. Not when you were his person.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he continued, voice firmer, though it trembled at the edges. “You don’t have to do this alone. I’m not gonna let you.”
You nodded against him, the tears starting to slow, though the ache in your chest didn’t seem to go away. But with him here, with his warmth surrounding you, you didn’t feel so lost. You didn’t feel so alone.
Katsuki didn’t say anything else. He didn’t have to. He just stayed there with you, holding you as you cried, as the storm inside of you slowly started to calm.
Even if he hated it. Even if he couldn’t understand it. He would never let you go through this alone. Not now. Not ever.

IZUKU MIDORIYA
Izuku Midoriya had always been the type of person who cared about others, but when it came to you, his affection for you went deeper than anything he’d ever experienced before. You were his light, the one person who made all the battles and struggles of his daily life feel worth it. You brought him peace when his mind would race with worries, and when things got tough, your smile would always be the thing that helped him keep going.
But lately, Izuku had noticed something—something he couldn’t ignore. The sparkle in your eyes, the warmth of your laugh, the way you’d joke and lift others up—all of it had faded. It was as if you were carrying some heavy weight, and no matter how hard you tried to smile, the light was gone. He didn’t know what was wrong, but he could see it in the way you acted. He could feel it in the silence that seemed to hang around you.
It wasn’t until that afternoon, after class, that he finally found you alone in the common room. The space was mostly empty, save for a few students working on assignments, but you? You were sitting on one of the couches, your posture slumped, your eyes unfocused. You didn’t even look up when he entered. The air around you felt thick, heavy—like the world had gotten too much, and you were too exhausted to fight it anymore.
Izuku’s heart sank when he saw you like that. He knew this wasn’t the bright, bubbly person he adored. You were still his sunshine, but the darkness surrounding you was making it hard to see the warmth he loved.
“Y/N?” His voice was soft but full of concern, almost shaky as he stepped closer. “Are you… are you okay?”
You didn’t respond right away, and that made his anxiety grow. He knew you weren’t one to hide your emotions, to bottle them up like this. Something was wrong, and Izuku couldn’t just stand there and pretend it didn’t bother him. He took a deep breath and walked over to you, sitting down beside you on the couch. He could feel the tension between you two, like there was a distance he couldn’t cross, no matter how much he wanted to.
“Y/N, you’re scaring me,” Izuku admitted, his voice shaking slightly. He tried to sound strong, but the sight of you like this was breaking his heart. “I don’t like seeing you like this… You’re not yourself.”
You finally looked up at him, but it wasn’t the look he was used to—the sweet, gentle gaze that always made him feel like the luckiest guy in the world. No, today your eyes were dull, hollow, and full of sadness. It made his chest ache to see you like this.
“I’m fine, Izuku,” you said quietly, your voice barely above a whisper. “I’m just… tired. I’ll be okay.”
Izuku’s eyes softened. He knew you were trying to brush it off, to make him think everything was fine, but he knew better. You weren’t fine. He could see it in the way your shoulders were tense, in the way you avoided looking at him for too long.
Without saying a word, Izuku gently placed his hand on yours, his fingers lightly brushing against your skin. The simple touch was enough to make your eyes well up. You weren’t sure why, but the kindness in his touch, the care in his eyes, made it all feel too much.
“I don’t want you to pretend to be fine,” Izuku said softly, his thumb slowly stroking the back of your hand. His words were genuine, and the sincerity in his voice made your heart ache even more. “You don’t have to hide from me. If something’s wrong, I want to know. I’m here for you, okay?”
You couldn’t hold it in anymore. The dam broke. You let out a soft sob as tears started to fall, and Izuku immediately wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close. His embrace was warm, safe, and unwavering. He didn’t let go. Even when you started to tremble in his arms, he held you tighter, not saying a word, just letting you cry.
“I’m sorry, Izuku,” you whispered between sobs. “I don’t want to burden you. I just feel so… overwhelmed. Everything’s too much right now.”
Izuku shook his head, his voice firm and full of compassion. “You could never be a burden, Y/N. Never. I care about you more than you’ll ever know. Whatever you’re going through, we’ll get through it together. You’re not alone.”
You buried your face in his chest, your hands gripping the fabric of his shirt as you let the tears flow freely. Izuku’s hand moved to the back of your head, gently stroking your hair as he whispered words of comfort, words that felt like they were healing the cracks in your heart.
“Take all the time you need,” Izuku said softly, his voice full of love and patience. “You don’t have to be strong right now. I’ll be strong for you. I’m not going anywhere.”
The sound of his words, the warmth of his touch, made you feel like maybe, just maybe, things could get better. With him by your side, it felt like there was still hope, even in the darkest moments. You let yourself lean into him completely, your body relaxing against his, as if you could finally breathe again.
Izuku didn’t push you to talk, didn’t pressure you to be okay. He just let you be, let you release everything you’d been holding inside. And when you finally pulled back a little, looking up at him through tear-filled eyes, you saw nothing but love and support in his gaze.
“You’re so strong, Y/N,” Izuku whispered, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “And I’m proud of you, no matter what you’re going through. We’re in this together.”
You nodded, your heart swelling with gratitude. Izuku was right. You weren’t alone anymore. And for the first time in days, you allowed yourself to believe that things could get better. With him, you didn’t have to fight the darkness alone. He would always be there, shining his light for you.

KIRISHIMA EIJIROU
Kirishima Eijirou wasn’t the kind of guy to leave things unsaid or leave people to suffer alone. He was a natural protector, always putting others first and ensuring that the people he cared about felt safe and loved. But there was one person he cared about more than anyone else: you.
When he first met you, you were full of energy and positivity, always lifting him up, always there to share a laugh or a kind word. You were the kind of person who could brighten up even the darkest days with just a smile. And Kirishima had always admired you for it.
But recently, things had changed. He had noticed the way you withdrew more and more into yourself, how your usual spark seemed to fade with each passing day. The laughter wasn’t there. The light in your eyes was dimming, and no matter how much he tried to reach out, you pulled away. It had hurt him, not because you were pulling away from him specifically, but because he could see you struggling. And that hurt him more than anything.
He had tried to talk to you, to ask if everything was okay, but you’d always just brush him off with a forced smile and a “I’m fine.” He knew that wasn’t true, but he also knew you didn’t want to burden anyone. That was the kind of person you were—strong, independent, but maybe just a little too stubborn for your own good.
It wasn’t until one afternoon, when he returned to the dorm after training, that he found you sitting alone in the common room. He had expected to see some of the others hanging out, but the place was eerily quiet. Then he saw you, curled up on the couch, looking small and fragile. You were staring out the window, but your gaze was distant, unfocused. The world around you seemed to be moving on without you, and it hurt him to see it.
Kirishima’s heart immediately dropped at the sight of you like this. He didn’t care how many times he had to face his own fear—he couldn’t leave you like this. Not now. Not ever.
He walked over to you, his footsteps echoing softly in the quiet room. “Y/N?” His voice was gentle, but there was an edge of concern in it. “Hey, what’s going on? You haven’t been yourself lately.”
You didn’t respond right away. You didn’t even look at him. He stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do. He hated seeing you like this—so quiet, so distant. It made his chest tighten.
“Come on, you know you can’t ignore me,” Kirishima said, sitting down beside you. He leaned in a little closer, trying to catch your eye, but you still avoided him. “I can tell something’s wrong. You’ve been pulling away. I don’t want you to deal with this alone, Y/N.”
You let out a soft sigh, almost inaudible. “I’m just… tired, Kirishima. I don’t want to drag you down.”
The words hit him like a punch to the gut. He could hear the pain in your voice, the exhaustion that was so much more than physical. It was emotional, a weight that was suffocating you, and it killed him to know he hadn’t been able to help you sooner.
“Y/N,” he whispered, his voice soft but firm. “You’re not a burden. You never could be. I don’t care how tough you think you have to be, but you don’t have to go through this alone. I’m here. Always. And I’m not going anywhere, okay?”
His hand reached for yours, gently lifting it to rest in his palm. His thumb brushed across your skin, the warmth of his touch grounding you, reminding you that he was right here beside you, even if you didn’t feel strong enough to face the world.
You finally looked up at him, your eyes red from the tears you had been holding in for so long. You hadn’t realized how much you needed someone until now. The exhaustion, the emotional toll of pretending to be okay—it all came rushing in at once.
“I don’t want to be weak,” you whispered, your voice trembling. “I don’t want to be a burden to anyone, especially not you.”
Kirishima’s heart ached as he watched you, and before you could say another word, he pulled you into his arms, wrapping you up in his warmth. His embrace was strong, secure, the kind of embrace that made you feel like you could rest, even for just a moment, and let the world slow down.
“Stop that,” he murmured into your hair, his voice thick with emotion. “You’re not weak. You’re one of the strongest people I know. You’re just going through something tough right now, and that’s okay. But you don’t have to hide it. You don’t have to pretend for me. I’m not going anywhere. I’m right here, Y/N.”
The words were simple, but they were all you needed. You didn’t have to fight it anymore. You didn’t have to be strong all the time. You could just be, and Kirishima would be there to catch you if you fell.
His arms tightened around you, his warmth spreading through your body. You could feel the steady beat of his heart against your chest, a rhythm that reminded you that you were loved, that you were cared for. You let yourself relax into him, surrendering to the safety of his embrace, the safety of someone who would never let you fall.
“It’s okay to let go sometimes,” Kirishima whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. “You’re not alone in this. I’ll be right here. We’ll figure it out together.”
You nodded against his chest, the tears falling once more, but this time they weren’t tears of sorrow—they were tears of relief, of comfort. For the first time in a long time, you felt like you could breathe. The weight on your chest didn’t feel as heavy, and you allowed yourself to lean into Kirishima’s strength.
He held you until the tears subsided, rubbing your back and murmuring sweet words to reassure you, to remind you that it was okay to not be okay. Slowly, you began to calm, feeling the warmth of his love and his unwavering support fill the empty spaces inside you.
Kirishima didn’t expect you to suddenly be okay. He didn’t expect you to bounce back and be the same person you were before, but what mattered was that you didn’t have to face it alone. With him by your side, he would help you through it, no matter how long it took.
⸺
SHOTO TODOROKI
Shoto Todoroki wasn’t one to express his feelings easily. It wasn’t that he didn’t feel deeply; on the contrary, he felt everything intensely. His past had taught him that emotions were complicated, often painful, and so he learned to bury them. But you… you had changed him. You had shown him that it was okay to feel, to let someone else into the quiet parts of his heart.
You were his calm, his balance. When the storms of his thoughts would cloud his mind, you were the one who cleared the skies with your warmth and your smile. But recently, something had shifted. You weren’t the same bright and energetic person he had grown to love. The change was subtle at first—just small signs of weariness, but now, it was undeniable. Your smiles were forced, your eyes distant, and your usual laughter was replaced with a quietness that made Todoroki’s chest tighten.
He had tried to approach you gently, to ask if everything was alright, but each time, you’d reassure him with a tired smile and say, “I’m fine.” Todoroki knew better. He knew you weren’t fine. The last thing he wanted to do was make you feel worse, but he couldn’t just stand by and do nothing.
That’s why, when he walked into the dorm’s common room that evening and saw you sitting alone in one of the corners, he knew something had to be done. You weren’t crying or visibly upset, but the way you held yourself—slumped in a way that made you seem so small—broke his heart. His heart pounded in his chest, and for a moment, he stood frozen, unsure of how to approach you.
He was a man of few words, especially when it came to matters of the heart, but for you, he was willing to push past his discomfort. He couldn’t let you suffer alone, especially not when he cared about you more than anyone else in the world.
“Y/N?” Todoroki’s voice was quiet, but his concern was evident. “Are you… okay?”
You didn’t immediately look up at him. Instead, your gaze remained fixed on the floor, and he could see your hands trembling slightly in your lap. He took a cautious step forward, not wanting to startle you but needing to make sure you knew he was there.
“I’m fine, Todoroki,” you said, the words sounding almost mechanical. “Really. I just need a little space.”
Todoroki felt a pang of frustration. You weren’t fooling him. He had been through enough internal battles himself to know when someone was hiding the truth behind their words.
He didn’t push. He simply sat down beside you, close enough that his presence was undeniable, but not so close that he invaded your space. He respected your need for distance, but he also knew you weren’t going to open up unless he made it clear that he wasn’t going anywhere.
The silence between you stretched on for a few moments, but then, with a small sigh, you finally spoke again, your voice barely above a whisper.
“I’m sorry, Todoroki,” you murmured, not looking at him. “I don’t mean to push you away. It’s just… everything feels too much right now.”
Todoroki’s eyes softened as he turned to face you. His expression was calm, but his heart was heavy. He wanted to reach out, to take you in his arms and tell you everything would be okay, but he knew that words alone wouldn’t fix what you were feeling. Still, he couldn’t just sit idly by.
“You don’t have to apologize,” he said quietly, his voice steady, though the sincerity behind it was clear. “I understand more than you think. I know what it’s like to feel like you’re carrying everything by yourself.”
You blinked up at him, surprised by his words. The truth was, Todoroki wasn’t one to talk about his own struggles. He kept everything bottled up, never wanting to burden anyone. But when it came to you, he couldn’t help but open up in ways he never had before.
“I know you’re strong,” Todoroki continued, his voice softening even more. “But you don’t have to be strong all the time. It’s okay to lean on others, especially the ones who care about you.”
You felt your heart swell with emotion, and for the first time in days, a lump formed in your throat, not from sadness, but from the overwhelming sense of relief. He was here. He wasn’t pushing you to be okay. He was letting you be—letting you just feel.
“I don’t want to drag you down,” you whispered, your voice shaky. “I don’t want to be a burden.”
Todoroki’s gaze softened, and he leaned slightly closer to you, his warmth radiating even through the distance between you. “You could never be a burden to me,” he said, his words firm, but with the gentleness only he could provide. “You’re the last person I would want to lose. I care about you, Y/N. More than you know.”
His words broke through the walls you had built around yourself, and suddenly, the dam of emotion you had been holding back for so long came crashing down. Tears welled up in your eyes, and despite your best efforts to hold them back, they spilled over. But this time, they weren’t tears of despair. They were tears of release, of letting go, of finally allowing yourself to be vulnerable with the one person who had always made you feel safe.
Without thinking, you leaned into him, your head resting on his shoulder as the tears continued to fall. Todoroki didn’t hesitate. He wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer to him, his warmth enveloping you like a shield from the world. His embrace was quiet, steady, and completely secure. It was everything you needed, even though you hadn’t known how badly you needed it until now.
“I’m here,” Todoroki whispered, his voice barely audible as he pressed his cheek gently to the top of your head. “You don’t have to face this alone. Not anymore.”
You nodded against him, your breath hitching as you tried to calm down, but it was hard. The weight of everything you had been carrying had been so heavy, and now, in his arms, it felt like the world wasn’t quite so impossible to bear.
Todoroki held you for what felt like hours, letting you cry, letting you let out everything that had been building up inside. He didn’t rush you, didn’t try to fix everything in an instant. He just let you be, let you heal in the silence of his presence.
When the tears finally stopped, and your breathing steadied, Todoroki pulled back slightly to look at you, his hands gently cupping your face. His eyes were soft, filled with understanding and care.
“You don’t have to apologize for being human,” he said quietly, his thumb brushing away the last tear from your cheek. “I don’t expect you to be perfect. I just want you to be happy again. And I’ll be here to help you through it, whenever you’re ready.”
You met his gaze, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. With him, you didn’t have to hide. With Todoroki, you could let go, be yourself, and heal. And maybe, just maybe, you’d be okay again.

DENKI KAMINARI
Denki Kaminari had always been the kind of guy who wore his heart on his sleeve. He was outgoing, always cracking jokes and pulling pranks, his infectious energy lighting up any room he walked into. Most people knew him as the class clown, the goofy guy who could always be counted on to bring a smile to someone’s face. But the truth was, Denki cared more deeply than most realized. He cared about his friends, his classmates, and especially you, the one who had captured his heart in a way no one else ever could.
When you and Denki started spending more time together, it was like you brought out the best in each other. You were his sunshine, and he was your reliable source of laughter and light. His presence made everything seem a little less daunting, a little brighter. He loved making you laugh, loved seeing your eyes light up when he did something silly. You were his constant reminder that life wasn’t all about battles and struggles—it was about the little joys, the moments of peace.
But lately, he noticed something. It wasn’t as obvious at first, but it started to become more and more apparent as time went on. You had stopped laughing quite as easily, stopped cracking jokes with him. Your energy, the vibrant spark that always seemed to surround you, had started to dim. Denki noticed the little things—the way you’d avoid eye contact, the way you’d pull away when he tried to make you smile. It hurt him to see you like this, and it made him feel helpless.
It wasn’t until one afternoon, after a particularly grueling training session, that Denki found you sitting by yourself in the common room. Most of the others had gone off to do their own thing, but you were still there, sitting alone by the window, staring out at nothing in particular. The usual spark in your eyes was gone, replaced with a faraway look that made Denki’s chest tighten.
“Hey, Y/N,” Denki called softly as he walked over to you, his voice light but carrying an undercurrent of concern. “You’re looking a little down today. What’s going on?”
You didn’t look at him at first, and for a second, Denki felt a pang of worry in his chest. You had always been open with him before, always eager to share your thoughts, but now you were closed off. He knew something wasn’t right.
“M'fine, Denki,” you said quietly, but Denki could hear the tiredness in your voice, the way your words didn’t quite match the heaviness in the air.
Denki sat down beside you, not taking no for an answer. “You don’t look fine. I know you, Y/N. You don’t have to pretend to be okay around me, alright? I’m your boyfriend. You can tell me anything.”
You didn’t say anything for a moment, just stared out the window, the cool evening breeze rustling your hair. Denki’s heart ached at the sight of you like this, like the vibrant person he knew and loved was slowly fading into the background.
Finally, you sighed, your voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t want to burden you with my problems, Denki. You’ve got enough to deal with already. I’m just… exhausted.”
Denki’s eyes softened, and he placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. “You’re never a burden, Y/N,” he said, his voice sincere. “You never have been. You’re literally my girlfriend, and if something’s bothering you, then I want to be here for you. That’s what partners do. And besides, I’m really good at cheering people up.”
He gave you a goofy grin, his trademark goofy smile, but you didn’t smile back. He could see the sadness in your eyes, the way you were trying to hold it all together but just couldn’t anymore. Denki’s smile faltered slightly, but he refused to give up on you.
“You know,” he continued, his voice a little softer, “I may not be the best at all this serious stuff, but I know you. And I know you’re going through something tough. You don’t have to go through it alone, though. I’m right here, and I’ll do whatever it takes to help you feel better, even if it’s just hanging out and making dumb jokes. You don’t have to carry this weight on your own.”
You finally turned to look at him, your eyes filled with unshed tears, and for the first time in a long while, you let down your guard. Denki’s heart skipped a beat as you opened up, telling him about the overwhelming pressure, the feelings of exhaustion that had built up over time. It felt good to finally say it all out loud, even if it was to someone who, for all his goofiness, genuinely cared about you.
Denki listened, really listened, his eyes locked on yours as you spoke. He didn’t interrupt, didn’t try to fix everything in a moment—he just sat with you, supporting you in his own quiet way. And when you finally finished, when the tears began to spill over, he was there, his arms wrapping around you in the most comforting embrace.
“I don’t know what to say,” you whispered, your voice shaky. “I just… I don’t want to burden you, Denki. I don’t want to be this person.”
Denki pulled back just enough to look you in the eyes, his expression soft and full of empathy. “Hey, hey,” he said gently, his hands cupping your face. “You’re not a burden. You’re not a ‘this person.’ You’re just… you. And that’s enough for me. You’re amazing just as you are, and I’m not going anywhere. I’m here, okay? We’ll get through this together.”
You nodded slowly, the weight on your chest feeling a little lighter. Denki’s words, though simple, were all you needed to hear. He was there, and he always would be, no matter what.
Denki smiled again, this time more warmly, and without warning, he pulled you into a big hug, squeezing you gently but firmly. “I promise I’ll do my best to cheer you up. You deserve to feel better, and I’ll do whatever it takes to see that smile on your face again.”
You chuckled softly, though the sound was tinged with a bit of sadness. “You don’t have to try so hard, you know.”
“Hey, I’m always up for a challenge!” Denki winked, his usual playful energy creeping back into his tone. “And making sure my favorite person in the whole wide world feels better? That’s the best challenge ever.”
As he held you in his arms, you allowed yourself to relax just a little, feeling the warmth of his affection wash over you. Maybe you still had a long way to go, but with Denki by your side, you knew you didn’t have to face it alone. You could let him be your light when everything else seemed too dim, and in return, you’d do your best to keep his brightness shining.

HANTA SERO
Hanta Sero was known for his ability to lighten the mood. Whether it was pulling pranks on his classmates, making witty remarks, or just being his easy-going self, he always knew how to bring a smile to people’s faces. He wasn’t the loudest guy in the room, but he had this effortless charm that drew people to him. And when it came to you, Sero was nothing but gentle. You were his sunshine, the one who made him feel like everything would be okay, even when things got tough.
But lately, he noticed a change in you. It wasn’t sudden, and it wasn’t something that could be pinpointed with one specific moment. It had been a gradual shift, a quiet change in the way you carried yourself. You’d stopped laughing at his jokes, and your once-vibrant smile had faded into something more reserved. Sero wasn’t oblivious—he could see the signs of someone who was struggling, and it made him worry.
He’d try to get you to talk, try to make you laugh again, but you always brushed him off with a soft, “I’m fine, Sero.” And that made him frustrated. He wanted to help, but he wasn’t sure how to break through your walls.
One evening, after training, Sero was walking back to the dorms when he spotted you sitting alone in the courtyard. It was quiet, the only sound being the soft rustling of the trees in the breeze. You were staring off into the distance, your body hunched slightly as if the weight of the world was on your shoulders.
Sero’s heart sank. He could tell you were holding something in, something heavy, and he hated that he couldn’t fix it immediately. But he wasn’t going to just leave you there, alone, battling whatever was going on in your head. He walked up to you slowly, his sneakers making soft sounds on the pavement, and when you heard him, you turned slightly, giving him a small, tired smile.
“Hey, Y/N,” Sero greeted, sitting down beside you without asking. He always felt comfortable with you, and he hoped you felt the same. “You okay?”
You didn’t immediately answer, and Sero could tell you were trying to find the right words. The silence between you stretched for a moment, but Sero wasn’t going to rush you. He knew you’d talk when you were ready.
“I don’t know,” you finally said, your voice quiet, like you were still trying to figure out how to say it. “Everything just feels… too much right now.”
Sero didn’t have all the right words to fix what you were going through. He didn’t pretend to understand exactly how you felt, but he did know one thing—he would be there for you, no matter what. That was a promise.
“Hey, that’s okay,” he said gently, his tone serious for once. “You don’t have to have all the answers right now. You don’t even have to tell me what’s going on if you don’t want to. But you do have to know that I’m here, alright?”
You gave him a weary look, your eyes flicking to his face, and for a second, it felt like you were trying to figure out if he was being serious. And then, slowly, you let out a sigh, a little shakier than you meant it to be.
“I feel so tired,” you whispered. “Like… like nothing I do is enough. Like everything’s just… overwhelming.”
Sero’s heart ached at the sound of your voice. He knew what it was like to feel like you were losing control, like the pressure was building up and you couldn’t handle it anymore. He’d been there too, struggling to figure out how to keep everything together while everything felt like it was falling apart. But the one thing he’d learned? It wasn’t about being perfect. It was about having people around who cared about you, and being willing to lean on them.
“You’re more than enough, Y/N,” he said, his voice soft but unwavering. “You’re doing great, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. And I know I’m not a therapist or anything, but I’m a pretty good listener, and I’m definitely here for you. I’ll always be here for you.”
You blinked, feeling a warmth spread through you that you hadn’t realized you needed. It wasn’t a grand gesture, nor did it need to be. It was just Sero, being the person he always was: honest, straightforward, and with the unwavering assurance that he’d stick by your side no matter what. It felt good to hear, even though you knew you didn’t have all the answers yet.
“I don’t want to drag you into this, Sero,” you said quietly. “You’ve got your own stuff to deal with.”
Sero shook his head, a gentle smile tugging at his lips. “Not even for a second. I care about you, Y/N. And I’m not going anywhere. You don’t have to face everything alone.”
He nudged you gently with his shoulder, his playful side creeping back in despite the serious conversation. “You know, if you want, I could always tell you some terrible puns to cheer you up. Or maybe I could just let you throw a couple of dodgeballs at me. I can take it.”
You couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle at his antics, even though it felt shaky. The smile that pulled at your lips was a weak one, but it was there, and that meant something. Sero smiled back, his eyes soft with understanding.
“You don’t have to force yourself to smile,” he said, his voice kind and patient. “But you are going to be okay. I believe in you.”
The way he said it, with so much sincerity, made you feel like maybe you didn’t have to have everything figured out just yet. Maybe, for now, you could just lean on him a little more, let him help you through the hard moments.
“Thanks, Sero,” you whispered, the weight on your chest easing just a little. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
Sero’s smile widened, and he gently ruffled your hair, a gesture that was both comforting and lighthearted. “Don’t worry about it. We’ve got each other’s backs, right? You’re not alone in this.”
And just like that, as the evening sun dipped lower in the sky, you found yourself sitting there with Sero, feeling a little less burdened by the weight of everything. It wasn’t a magic fix, but with him by your side, you knew you’d get through it, one day at a time.
⸺
TENYA IIDA
Tenya Iida had always prided himself on his sense of duty. As a class representative, he was responsible for ensuring everyone followed the rules and that everything ran smoothly. He was disciplined, organized, and serious about doing his best, both as a student and as a friend. There wasn’t much that could shake his composure—except, of course, seeing someone he cared about in pain.
And lately, it was you. It wasn’t sudden, but Tenya had noticed the changes. The way you would become quieter, less enthusiastic, and the way you started withdrawing from those around you. He’d catch you staring off into the distance during lunch breaks, or when you’d force a smile whenever he’d try to make small talk. He had seen this before—he had seen students struggle, and he knew it wasn’t something that could be ignored.
Though Tenya was aware of your struggles, he also understood that you had a tendency to push people away when you were hurting. You didn’t want to burden anyone, and he respected that. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t worried. He wasn’t someone to sit idly by when someone he cared for was in distress. He would find a way to help, no matter how long it took.
One evening, after a long day of training, Tenya found himself walking back to the dorms. He had finished his tasks for the day, but there was something on his mind. He couldn’t shake the feeling that he hadn’t done enough for you lately. He wanted to speak with you, to make sure you were okay. So, he did what he always did when he was feeling uncertain—he followed his sense of responsibility.
When he entered the common room, he spotted you sitting alone on one of the couches. Your shoulders were slumped, and your gaze was distant, staring at the floor. Tenya’s heart tightened at the sight. He had been trying to respect your space, but it was clear now that you needed him more than ever. He took a deep breath and walked over to you, trying to stay calm and composed, though a part of him was worried.
“Y/N,” Tenya said softly, kneeling in front of you so he could meet your eyes. “Is everything alright? You’ve seemed… distant lately. Please, talk to me.”
You lifted your gaze slowly, and for a moment, Tenya saw the exhaustion in your eyes. He could tell you were struggling to keep up appearances, trying so hard to act like everything was fine when it clearly wasn’t.
“I’m fine, Iida,” you replied, your voice soft but strained. “I just need some time to myself, that’s all.”
Tenya didn’t move. He knew this was the part where you would try to push him away, to convince him that you didn’t need help. But Tenya wasn’t going to let you go down that path alone. Not this time.
“I understand the importance of personal space,” he said with a steady, reassuring tone. “But I also understand that sometimes, we all need someone to lean on. You don’t have to go through this by yourself, Y/N. I’m here for you.”
You were quiet for a moment, looking down at your hands. Tenya’s eyes softened, and he gently placed his hand on your shoulder, offering his warmth and presence as a reminder that you weren’t alone.
“I know you don’t want to burden anyone,” Tenya continued, his voice sincere. “But you are never a burden to me, Y/N. Not now, not ever. I care about you deeply. You don’t have to carry this weight alone.”
The tears you had been holding back finally spilled over, and for a moment, Tenya simply sat there, allowing you to cry. He didn’t try to rush you or tell you to stop. He simply let you feel what you needed to feel, knowing that the release was just as important as the comfort.
“You don’t have to say anything,” he murmured, his voice calm and soothing. “You don’t need to explain. I’m not going anywhere. Just let me be here with you.”
After a while, you stopped crying, your sobs tapering off into soft, shaky breaths. Tenya remained by your side, rubbing your back gently and offering silent reassurance. His presence alone was steady, unwavering, and it made you feel just a little bit lighter.
“Thank you, Tenya,” you whispered, your voice raw but grateful. “I didn’t know how much I needed someone to just… be here.”
“You don’t need to thank me,” Tenya said, his voice filled with warmth. “It’s my responsibility to be here for you, just as you’ve always been there for me. Friends help each other, no matter what.”
He smiled at you then, the usual seriousness in his expression replaced with a gentleness that only appeared when he was completely at ease with someone he trusted. His hand squeezed your shoulder, a small but comforting gesture.
“If there’s anything else you need—whether it’s to talk, to distract yourself, or even just to sit in silence—I’ll be here. You don’t have to face this alone.”
You looked at him, your heart swelling with gratitude, and though you still felt the weight of your emotions, there was a small glimmer of hope in your chest. With Tenya by your side, you knew you could take things one step at a time.
“Thank you,” you said again, this time with a small, tentative smile. It wasn’t much, but it was a start. And Tenya’s heart swelled at the sight of it. He would always do everything in his power to make sure that smile remained, even if it was small and fleeting.
As the night continued, Tenya stayed with you, his presence solid and comforting. He didn’t pressure you, didn’t try to force you to talk if you weren’t ready. Instead, he simply made sure you knew that no matter how dark things seemed, he would always be there, a steady, unshakeable force in your life.
⸺
HITOSHI SHINSO
Hitoshi Shinso wasn’t one for crowds. He preferred his space, the quiet, and time alone to recharge. His sarcastic humor and aloof attitude often gave people the wrong impression, and he had learned to be okay with that. He didn’t need anyone’s approval, nor did he particularly care for the company of people who didn’t understand him. But when it came to you, things were different.
From the moment you had started talking to him, he’d felt something shift. You weren’t like the others. You didn’t treat him like an outcast or judge him based on his quirk. Instead, you saw the person beneath the aloof exterior. You’d smile at him like it was nothing, like he wasn’t someone to be feared or misunderstood. And it made him feel… seen.
He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but something about you drew him in. You were the sunshine in his otherwise gloomy world. Your laughter, your bright energy, and your genuine kindness made him feel like maybe, just maybe, he didn’t have to hide behind his walls all the time. You made him feel like he was worthy of being cared for.
But lately, he’d noticed a change in you. The smiles had become rarer, and the spark in your eyes seemed to fade each day. You started pulling away, retreating into yourself, and it hurt him in a way he hadn’t expected. He wasn’t great with feelings, never had been, but this was different. It wasn’t just the usual loneliness he’d been used to—it was something deeper, something darker, and it gnawed at him.
One night, after everyone had gone to bed, Hitoshi found himself walking through the dorms, unable to sleep. His mind kept drifting back to you. He wanted to help, wanted to pull you out of the place you’d been slipping into, but he wasn’t sure how. His usual methods of deflecting and staying distant didn’t seem to work with you. And it frustrated him, more than he cared to admit.
As he passed by the common room, he stopped when he saw you sitting by yourself, curled up on the couch. You looked so small, so fragile, and it broke something inside him. He didn’t know what to say, didn’t know how to fix it, but he knew he couldn’t leave you there alone, not like this.
“Y/N?” he called softly, his voice low, but with a hint of concern. “You okay?”
You didn’t answer immediately, and for a moment, he thought you hadn’t heard him. He stepped closer, and when you looked up, he could see the heaviness in your eyes, the way you were struggling to keep it all together.
“I’m fine, Shinso,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper. “I just need some space.”
He sighed, a soft exhale of frustration. He wasn’t going to let you push him away this time. He may not have the perfect words, but he knew one thing: you didn’t have to go through this alone.
“No,” he said quietly, sitting down beside you on the couch, a little closer than he usually would. “I’m not letting you push me away. You’re not fine, and I’m not leaving until you talk to me.”
You stiffened slightly, clearly caught off guard by his insistence. But Hitoshi wasn’t backing down. He wasn’t going to let you hide from him anymore. He might not have a perfect track record when it came to comforting people, but when it came to you, he’d try.
“I don’t want to burden you with my problems,” you finally said, your voice thick with emotion. “Everyone else has enough to deal with.”
Hitoshi turned his head to look at you, his eyes serious, yet gentle. “You’re not a burden. You never have been. You don’t have to deal with this alone, and you don’t have to pretend everything’s okay around me.”
You swallowed hard, your chest tightening as you tried to hold back tears. But Hitoshi, as awkward and reserved as he was, didn’t look away. His gaze was soft, patient. He might not have had the perfect words, but his presence was enough to let you know that you were seen, that you mattered to him.
“I’m here, Y/N,” he said quietly, his voice lower than usual, almost like he was letting down a wall for you. “I don’t need you to be happy all the time or put on a brave face. I just need you to know that if you need someone to sit with you, even if we’re not talking, I’m here. You don’t have to push me away.”
Your lip trembled at his words, and for the first time in a while, you let yourself break. You leaned into him, just a little, but it was enough to let the tears fall. He didn’t hesitate, didn’t try to stop you or tell you to calm down. Instead, he sat there, his arm gently wrapping around your shoulders, offering you the quiet comfort you had been craving.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” you whispered, your voice shaky. “I just feel like everything is too much to handle. Like I’m drowning in it.”
Hitoshi didn’t say anything for a long moment. Instead, he just pulled you in closer, his body warm against yours. He didn’t need to fix everything. He didn’t need to say the perfect things. Sometimes, just being there was enough. And that was what you needed the most.
“You’re not drowning,” he finally said, his voice soft but firm. “You’re just… tired. And that’s okay. You don’t have to carry it all at once. You’ve got people who care about you. You’ve got me.”
You sniffled, wiping your eyes, and though the pain in your chest didn’t disappear, it felt just a little lighter. Hitoshi didn’t expect you to heal overnight. But as long as you had him by your side, he would make sure you never felt like you were facing your struggles alone.
“Thanks, Shinso,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “I didn’t think… I didn’t think you cared this much.”
“I care more than you know,” he replied quietly, his arm still around you, pulling you in a little tighter. “I’m not going anywhere.”
In that moment, with his arm around you and his quiet support, you knew you didn’t have to face the darkness alone. Hitoshi might not show his emotions the same way others did, but he was there, steady and unwavering, and that was all you needed.

WE'RE BOTH SLEEPING ON THE COUCH
synopsis: Izuku's been having a tough day at work, what would you do to help him? (0.49k)

it's been a tough day at Izuku's work as the #1 hero of Japan, just as each day was. with a slight difference that it almost costs your relationship.
iIt was as if every bad thought he might have had for the past years just became truth in one day.
so to say he was far beyond exhausted was an understatement. he kindly let you know he'd be coming home later than usual (said usual normally being 12a.m.), so you could sleep without worrying.
how could you not worry about him if his voice over phone sounded so rough, raspy and tired with everything he might be living in those offices right now?
this made you remember every time Midoriya got his way out of reunions or late nights to be with you for at least some hours when you called him and expressed your fatigue.
you would not leave him at his own now. not ever.
so you quickly glanced at the clock as you said your goodbyes and ended the call. 9:48 p.m.
yeah you could do something about it.
you arrived at his agency half an hour later, with a bigger than usual bag and a blanket perfectly folded under your free arm which helped you open the gigantic glass doors which welcomed any citizen that might be in trouble along the best heroes of the country.
this entrance always gave you chills as you recalled when Izuku spent days and days deciding how to decorate his agency in a way it felt comfortable with everyone, yet it got some of his unique traits like some walls were green-coloured.
you had to take the elevator once the secretary recognized you as his boss' partner.
finally, opening the last door was a relief for you, but a surprise for your freckled-fiancé. his face changing from confusion to happiness to confusion again since he told you not to worry about him.
"wha-why?" he asked, his finger pointing at the things you were carrying, his other hand still with yesterday's and today's patrol reports he had to review.
"let me tell you a little story about a boy who used to listen to a certain person whining about their day when they were younger, i really admire that boy 'cause he did everything he could no matter what the time or weather was, he'd go with them and accompany them by himself". you said smiling all the way to the wood table his grand officine had, starting to pull out some plastic cutlery and tuppers with fresh food, then, extending the blanket at the couch infront of it all.
Izuku had left all his work by now to stare at your gentle gestures, the care that you held while putting perfectly everything in place for a little time off for yourselves. he had never felt fuller than now, finding comfort in your acts, he let himself drown in this love of yours.

here's my BNHA m.list if you'd like to read more! remember you can ask to be tagged at any of the fandoms i write for ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡

Izuku waking up to reader baking at 3 am, (anything of ur choice) . He ends up staying and helping them bake! And they sleep at his dorm after their baking shenanigans.. ^^

“RISES THE MOON…”
ೃ࿐ izuku midoriya x reader
summary: what the ask says!
disclaimers: established relationship, mentions of one for all, reader bakes as a way to distract themselves, maybe ooc izuku? he trains sm that’s why he’s tired 24/7 😭 so short 😞. i wrote this at 2 am pls cut me some slack.. I DID NOT PROOFREAD THIS. I REPEAT I DID NOT PROOFREAD THIS!
—-
training is gruesome. it often leads to izuku passing out on the floor in his room or collapsing on the edge of his bed before even making it under his blanket.
it also leads to him waking up numerous times during the night, one for all also contributing to that. his adrenaline really never wears off, he’s constantly on edge. he can never rest peacefully when he’s left alone with his thoughts.
which then leads to the current situation. izuku sat on the floor, rubbing his eyes. he groans while stretching his sore muscles.
turning towards his desk, he checks the time.
“3:00 AM?!” izuku gasped at the hour. his eyes bulging out of his head. he’s wide awake now.
stumbling off of the floor, he decided he’s going to get a glass of water from the kitchen.
-
the journey to the kitchen was god awful. izuku wasn’t sure how many times he tripped over his own feet or smashed into a wall from still being slightly tired.
he cursed himself as he smashed into the kitchen door. it flew open with a bang as a delicious aroma spread across the room.
“what the…” he rubbed his cloudy eyes once more, looking around the dim light room.
“izuku, why are you up?”
his eyes lit up at the sound of your voice. he stood straighter, rubbings his eyes once more (so quickly he let out a quiet “ow..” after poking one).
“ah! sorry… i didn’t know you’d be here.”
you smiled at the sight of his soft eyes as he turned to look at what was on the kitchen counter. he navigated around you, placing his hands on your hips to move towards the baking items that were strewn across the kitchen counter surface. your heart fluttered at the feeling of his cold hands on your skin.
“what’re you making?” he tilted his head and leaned over all the products, trying to figure them out.
you sheepishly rubbed your hands on the apron you wore, suddenly feeling nervous about his opinion on the food you were making. “banana bread… you don’t have to have it.”
“what? of course i’m gonna have some!” izuku reassuringly placed a calloused hand around your wrist, guiding it away from your clothes so you don’t get dirty. you appreciated the gesture, fondly nodding your head and smiling.
“okay, then get to work.” you jokingly said, not expecting your boyfriend to instantly start helping you make the banana bread. your jaw dropped as he finished creaming together ingredients quicker than you ever could’ve. his fast learning skills were a trait that you admired and were silently envious of.
you hummed in appreciation as you moved towards other ingredients. handing them to your boyfriend to stir.
he went fast and worked with ease as he soon finished mixing together everything you needed while you grabbed a pan and greased it. izuku couldn’t help but stare as he leaned against the counter while waiting for you to finish, arms crossed and eyes staring at you with so much adoration. you looked over your shoulder as you placed the pan into the oven, eyebrows raising in question.
his face flushed as he realized you caught him staring. suddenly, his mouth felt dry. izuku was never one to be quiet, until he was in your presence. you left him speechless with your beauty.
he walked towards you and embraced you in a tight hug. the soreness from his muscles disappearing immediately. he softened at the feeling of your warm hands wrapping around his torso, moving up and down as you massaged his back.
you tilted your head to look at the oven, there were only a few minutes left on the timer. thank god, you’re sure izuku could just fall asleep like this.
the kitchen is momentarily filled with silence, the tranquility of the night comforting you two as you rock back and fourth. the small tuffs of izuku’s hair tickled against your neck, eliciting a giggle, your laughter caused a lazy grin to appear on your boyfriends face.
ding!
the sound of the oven made izuku jump slightly and you cooed while slowly pulling yourself away from his hold to get towards the food.
with a small grin forming on your face, you examined the food in front of you and almost squealed. it looked so-
“amazing! it looks amazing. call me a chef.” izuku grinned as he looked over your shoulder at the food. you snorted at his words.
“alright, let’s not forget the last time you burnt chicken nuggets and almost blew up the kitchen.”
your boyfriends jaw dropped and you had to bite back a smile at his expression.
“that was a low blow!” your boyfriend whined as he followed you around the kitchen as you placed the baked good on a plate.
izuku quickly took a piece of the banana bread, wincing as it was still hot from the oven. you analyzed his expression as he put the food in his mouth.
you furrowed your brows, his expression pinched and so concentrated it made you nervous. “so? how is it?”
izuku then smiled and you grinned, he liked it! thank god because if he didn’t you’d drop to your knees and cry.
“so good… can we go to bed though?”
“i was waiting for you to say that.”
izuku laughed a little at your words and started tugging you along with him to his dorm. you walked behind him silently, admiring him. you admired the way his hair was ruffled and unkempt seeing that he came straight from his training nap to bake with you. you frowned, realizing he woke up to spend time with you when he could’ve been getting sleep he desperately deserved.
“shh, you’re gonna wake up one of the boys. you know bakugou has insane hearing!” you scolded your boyfriend after realizing he was mumbling to himself the whole walk back to his dorm.
he rolled his eyes and you couldn’t help but laugh at his sassiness, he seemed to always get like that when he just wants to be near you and sleep.
you shut his door behind him, locking it as you watched your boyfriend dive onto his bed and beckon you towards him.
you followed suite and snuggled up against his chest as he laid on his back with his arm wrapped around your shoulder like he was your personal pillow. to be honest… he is. you could almost feel yourself being lulled into a sleep until you felt izuku tapping your nose.
confused, you looked up at him only to see him holding your phone. when did he get that?
“huh?”
“reminder. set a alarm for six o’clock so you don’t get caught in here, it’ll be bad if you’re leaving when kacchan is up and ready for his workout.”
you sighed, grabbing your phone and setting a timer as izuku slipped you both under the covers. you threw your phone onto his nightstand and let out a breathe of relief, grateful to finally be in your boyfriends arms after a long day.
izuku felt the same as he admired your sleeping face, grateful to be able to hold you another day. being with you here almost felt like all the soreness and exhaustion he has felt for weeks is gone in a blur. he only feels peace and tranquility when he is with you. and he couldn’t be more grateful for that.
thank god for your cooking skills!

izuku midoriya with a s/o who has a healing quirk

pairing: izuku midoriya x gn!reader
tags: established relationship, mentions of pain & injuries, reader's quirk hurts them, injuries, worried + angry izuku, hurt/comfort

you have a powerful healing quirk, able to heal even the worst wounds. but it comes with a drawback – whenever you heal someone, you'll feel their pain!
with izuku as your boyfriend, you have to do a lot of healing! he's constantly breaking his bones and getting injured, unable to properly control his quirk
izuku doesn't know at first that you feel his pain whenever you heal him, so he happily relies on your help whenever he's injured
but once he finds out about the drawback of your quirk, he remembers all those times you healed him when he was in unbearable pain…
izuku is angry! at you, for not telling him sooner. but mostly at himself, for not realizing you were in pain and letting this happen to you
once he knows about the side effect your quirk has, izuku doesn't want you to use it anymore!
he can't stand to see you in pain! even when you refuse to show it, he's painfully aware of it now! you're hurting and trying to hide it with a smile…
but izuku knows he can't stop you from using your quirk. it's part of who you are and he doesn't want to be a controlling boyfriend that tells you what you're allowed to do and what not
still, izuku always keeps an eye on you when you use your quirk! and if you push yourself too far, he'll be there to take care of you afterwards

i just got dumped 🥀 Izuku comfort fic when? (preferably m/m but wtv)
awh, I'm sorry my love! i don't write mlm (too well) unfortunately; luckily this won't be gendered since I normally write in "you/you're" pov!
You've been through a lot this week. Your daily life torturing you to socialize and be active, and recently being dumped by your former partner. It was alot. You tried to bury yourself into whatever work you could to keep your mind off of things.
But that didn't work. Nothing worked. You tried to not let it get to you, keeping in mind that there's "many fish in the sea". That didn't help either.
So there you were; lying in your bed heart broken and head aching from the tears you shed, your cheeks were sticky from the tears that flowed down non-stop, your nose filling up with snot as your eyes burned and turned red. Crying like this wouldn't do anything sure, but it could hurt.
You didn't really want to be bothered too much by people. You weren't feeling like doing much so you called in so you could stay home and sulk figuring that's what you needed. Trying to let the feelings poor out only somehow made it worse. It has you thinking about things, questioning things, and just seeing yourself as not enough. So many thoughts running through your already throbbing head.
You had your phone on DND you hadn't wanted to be bothered for obvious reasons. Unfortunately for you, you don't have Spotify premium so when an ad came in after the song had ended you were so upset, ripping your head phones out and groaning loudly only making your headache worsen with the movement and noise.
You pickup your phone to try and close Spotify out and reopening the app, maybe that would work. You see many notifications, two calls and 15 texts. Izuku. He was your best friend and you hadn't spoken to him in a while. You didn't expect him to actually care because this isn't the first time you've gone a while without talking.
You sigh heavily to yourself and decide to text him back. As you open your messages you're greeted with the messages full of concern and worry, a small smile forming onto your face. He cared so much... but he cares about everyone. It's who he is.
A frown forms back on your face as you read them all, the last one stating he was coming over the second he could. You gasp looking around your room to see trash everywhere, on the dresser the floor and even some wrappers in your bed. Clothes littering the ground and messily in the hamper along with crumbs in your bed, on your desk and even your hoodie!
You were a mess. This would be so embarrassing for him to see. He'd sent that over 30 minutes ago, he must've already been in his way if not at the nearest stop sign! There was no way you could allow him to see you in this sort of state. You weren't feeling like seeing people anyways, it all felt like a chore within that moment.
You exhale and lick your phone back up, typing away at the keyboard to let him know you didn't think that was a good idea. You weren't feeling well and didn't really feel like talking to anyone right now.
You made it pretty vague and he'd read it immediately, to your unfortunate luck he not only responded within an instant but he apparently was outside?!
You couldn't even get anything out before there's a knock at your door. You didn't have to wonder who it is, grumbling lowly as you lazily climb out of bed. Your feet trudge against the ground as you hardly felt like walking. Your body felt weak and you were quite dehydrated. You lift your art to open the door to see a green haired male staring at his phone with wide concern filled eyes.
Quickly his gaze turns to yours and he quickly gasps seeing the way the day light shines dimly onto your face. You squint your eyes at the sudden light you've strictly prohibited in your house, izuku sees your eyes red along with your nose and cheeks. The corners of your eyes crusted with dried tears as you sniff only for it to hardly do anything with how it's blocked with snot from your crying.
You had a rather unimpressed expression on your face, you tried to give a polite smile but you couldn't muster anything more than that.
Izuku rushed in grabbing your face and questioning you. Why hadn't you been speaking to anyone, why haven't you been out in the last week, why were you obviously crying??
His voice only egged in the intense headache you still had. You groan with a wince as you squint your eye at the way his voice grew louder in worry. He lightly apologizes with a nervous smile quickly being replaced with the same look of concern from before.
“ y/n. what's going on..”
His voice was stern but in an unsettling or upsetting way. Just to let you know he cares and needs to know what's wrong. He wants to help you, to make you feel better. He loves you. So much. However, he wouldn't go as far to tell you something like that often, because then you might piece together that he's actually in love with you and loves you more than just as a friend...
You stare at his green eyes, so deep and pure. Full of love and light, unfortunately terribly bright. You sigh at his genuine look of concern simply walking past him and heading towards your room. Izuku jolts in confusion at your reaction, well lack of one. Simply following you stuttering in his words to ask more questions
His voice grew quite .... bothersome the more it rang on in your ears. You pull the covers over your head with a loud grumble, whatever you send being muffled. Izuku, still full of worry for you; can't help but to smile and scoff.
He took a quick look around at your room and the estate it was in along with you. Crying, visibly upset and your room littered in filth.. it must be pretty bad. You've been pent up for a week or two and all alone. It hurts his heart to see this.
He sighs and puts his bag down and takes his shoes off walking towards your bed as he rips the covers off of you. You let out a small yelp to see him with a frown staring down at you. He huffed and quickly swiped the crumbs out of your bed the best he could before lying down beside you.
You couldn't really make out any words with your voice groggy from the lack of talking and kind of hoarse from the crying. Plus, you didn't really feel like it. Izuku didn't push though, he simply lied down with you pulling the covers over the both of you and bringing you closer to him without trying to appear "touchy".
You both face each other as you lie down in your bed, covers warming you both along with your body heat. You weren't too close to where it was weird, just close enough to be very comforting. His presence soothing your and even stopping your crying. As the headache still lingered you figured sleep was all you really needed.
“ I won't make you talk about it.. whatever it is. just know I'll be here, always. I love you.”
I hope this was well and you found what you were looking for, keep your head up hun please remember to take care of yourself as well! ᡣ𐭩

★ GETTING INTO AN ARGUMENT WITH MHA CHARACTERS (PT. 2)
characters: midoriya, bakugo, todoroki
genre: comfort !!
notes: find part 1 here !! i’ve been busy with stuff, sorry for not getting this out sooner!

izuku midoriya
- a day had passed since he flipped out at you
- he knew he messed up but you were letting him know he messed up.
- every time he texted you he’d always end up being left on read or delivered.
- even at school when he tried to come up to you, you’d always end up running towards somebody else and joining into a conversation with them.
- he wasn’t going to give up until he finally talked to you and figured things out though
- which is how he ended up in front of your dorm room door at 9 pm at night.
izuku let out a nervous exhale before raising his fist to knock on your door. fighting his nerves, he shook his head and hit his fist against it gently. “coming!”, you chirped, pushing yourself out from your desk to answer the door. a faint smile arose on his face at the sound of your positive voice, but quickly got washed away by nerves once he saw the door begin to open. when you opened the door and saw izuku there, you rolled your eyes, beginning to shut the door, but you were quickly stopped by izuku shoving his foot into the space between the door, slipping his hand in as well so he had a hold on the door. “y/n, please talk to me”, he muttered, trying to look you in the eyes. “hasn’t enough been said? what happened to you and your “limits”?”, you sarcastically asked, putting emphasis on the limits part. he sighed, looking down at the ground. “listen, please. i really, really didn’t mean all of that. i was just so overwhelmed and exhausted but i know that doesn’t excuse me snapping on you like that. i don’t know where i’d be without you watching over me all the time”, he spoke, his voice was passionate and somewhat shaky. “i love you so much, y/n. i wouldn’t be where i am without you, and i’m so, so sorry for taking that all out on you”, he finished. only hearing silence back from you, he got nervous. slowly looking up, he was faced with the sight of you with tears glistening in your eyes. his eyes widened as he panicked. “oh no… i’m sorry, i’m sorry! was it something i said? shit-“, “no- no, you’re fine, zuku. this is perfect, actually. thank you”, you cut him off, a small tear falling down your face as you quickly wiped it away. izuku sighed as he pushed the door out of the way and pulled you into a hug. “i love you so much and i’m so sorry”, he told you again, pressing a soft kiss to your head. “it’s okay, i love you too”, you sighed, snuggling into his hold. “i thought you were gonna break up with me for a second…”, he confessed. you let out a laugh at this, causing him to laugh a bit as well. “i’d have to go crazy to break up with you”.

katsuki bakugo
- yeah… he was losing it 💀
- he expected you to get over the whole situation overnight and things would go back to normal the next day, but it was the complete opposite.
- you ignored him constantly throughout the entire day.
- even when he’d call out your name, you’d act like you didn’t hear anything.
- his final straw was when you tried to walk home without him.
- that’s when he snapped, he was tired of the hard feelings between you two and he couldn’t deal with it anymore, he wanted to fix it.
you felt a hold on your wrist that caused you let out a slight shriek, but you quickly calmed down when seeing who’s touch it was. of course, it was katsuki. “are we gonna talk about this or are you just gonna keep ignoring me?”, he asked, and surprisingly he seemed genuine too. “you made it known what place this relationship has in your life, i really don’t see what else there is to talk about”, you answered, your voice raw and harsh. he hated this side of you, and he hated being the reason for it. “i don’t- can you just listen to me?”, he somewhat begged, his voice quickly descending from annoyance to calmness. your eyes somewhat widened at his urgency. it wasn’t often that you saw him be so vulnerable in a sense, honestly you don’t ever recall seeing him like this. “i’m listening”, you muttered, crossing your arms over your chest as you stared at him, waiting to hear what he could possibly say. you had a hard time believing that he was actually about to take accountability for everything because based on previous events, he didn’t seem like the type to do so, ever. “ok… i know i fucked up. i’m not gonna stand here like a moron and act like there was a good reason for forgetting our anniversary because there wasn’t. i was just caught up with all my training that it slipped my mind, but i know that doesn’t make up for shit. and all those things i said last night, i didn’t mean it. any of it, i was being fuckin’ careless with my words. it wasn’t “just some anniversary”, it’s a big ass milestone, i know that and i wanna make it up to you. i treated you like straight shit and i regret it so, so bad. i… i’m sorry”, he spoke firmly, making sure you knew his words were genuine, and you definitely did. your eyes were blown open, shocked at the speech he just gave. you never thought you’d ever see him so apologetic or ever hear him say things like these. you could feel tears pricking your eyes, but you quickly pushed them away, letting out a soft giggle. he raised an eyebrow but quickly lost his composure when you jumped into his arms, holding onto him tightly. “t-thank you katsuki. this means the world to me, seriously. i forgive you”, you sniffled, hiding your face in his neck. he let out a chuckle, hugging you back. “yeah, yeah. and i’m serious ‘bout what i said, im gonna take my sweet girl on a proper anniversary date, alright?”, he smirked, rubbing your back. “yeah, that sounds perfect”.

shoto todoroki
- the difference between shoto and the other two is that he didn’t even wait till the next day to talk to you 😭
- he wanted to make things right between you two and fast, you knew how much he hated ending things on a bad note between you two.
- he made his way to your dorm, determined to gain your forgiveness
- it was when when he got to your dorm and heard sniffling from the outside, his heart ached. he knew how bad he messed up.
leaning against the door separating you from him, he heard soft sobs and sniffles, causing his heart to ache a bit. he never wanted to be the one responsible for your tears and sadness. he was meant to be the person to take that all away from you, but yet here he was, being the reason you were crying alone in a dark room late at night. he gently knocked against the door, and once he did the noises behind the door came to an immediate stop. “y/n, it’s me… can we talk?”, he asked, his fist still on the door as he waited for an answer. a few seconds went by, nothing. he knew you were in there, so he figured you were either ignoring him or just didn’t want to face him. “i know you’re in there, but i understand if you don’t want to talk to me right now… i’ll still say what i have to say anyway”, he started, clearing his throat. on the other side of the door, you were scooting closer to the door, wanting to hear what he had to say. you weren’t going to open the door, you couldn’t face him with how much of a mess you were in. you didn’t want him to see you in such a weak state because of him. “i’m so sorry for what i said earlier. i didn’t mean any of it. my father gave me a hard time when i visited and natsuo was also pushing it with him, it was just a mess. that’s why i was so upset, but that doesn’t matter anymore. i should’ve talked to you instead of holding it all in. it’s like you said, if i keep holding in all my problems, i’ll burst, and that’s what happened. you didn’t deserve that at all, and i’m so sorry. i didn’t mean any of it”, he confessed. he waited a couple moments, praying that you’d respond. when he heard nothing, he rested his forehead against the door, sighing. “i’m not leaving until i know you’re okay”, he muttered. little did he know on the other side of the door, you were tearing up all over again. you quickly stood up, unlocking the door and whipping it open as you jumped into his arms. he was startled but quickly wrapped his arms around you, sighing with relief. “i love you, sho… it’s all fine now, i forgive you”, you told him, your voice a bit shaky as you smiled, hiding you face in his neck. “i love you so much more”, he muttered. he took you out of his arms for a moment, taking your face into his hands. he let out a sad sigh at your bloodshot eyes and red nose, feeling so guilty. “i’m sorry, so sorry my love”, he muttered, pressing a soft kiss to your lips and then your forehead. “it’s alright now, just promise me you’ll talk to me from now on, ‘kay?”, “i promise”.

!
Izuku bolted up right in bed, panting heavily, his stomach churning. His heart was pounding in his chest like a drum.
He was shaking, his hands trembling as he looked down at the scars wrapped around his fingers, palm, and wrist, a reminder of the hell he’d put his body through.
Izuku’s eyes then landed on the gold ring on his left ring finger. A band identical to yours. He looked over at your sleeping face, frowning as he reached over and ran his fingers through your hair.
How could he protect you if he couldn’t even protect himself?
His nightmare was reoccurring, occasionally he’d be thrust into a burning UA campus, looking around as villains raided the campus, just like back at the USJ.
Izuku would watch as his coworkers and students were mercilessly slaughtered, all callinf out for him to do something, to be a hero.
But he couldn’t.
He was powerless now.
He shook his head and sighed, peeling himself from the warm sheets next to you, to get up and walk over to his jacket that was hanging on his desk chair. He grabbed out a pack of cigarettes and his lighter before walking to the balcony of your shared apartment.
He walked out onto the balcony, trying to be as quietly as possible, leaving the door open for the breeze.
Izuku took a cigarette from the pack and grabbed his lighter, cupping his hand around the end, and lighting it.
He took a few little puffs from it, before taking a proper drag.
It was gross. He felt gross smoking. But he saw Aizawa do it, and the older man said it worked to relieve stress, Izuku tried it, and got hooked.
Izuku let out a slow breath, looking out over the city. What was he gonna do if his students were put in danger? He couldn’t stop a villain without a quirk..
Guilt and anxiety swirled in his chest, before he felt warm arms wrap around him from behind.
He leaned back against you, feeling you gently place your face in his hair.
You would have reprimanded him for smoking, worried about your sweet husband..but in that moment, Izuku didn’t need a lecture, he needed someone there for him.
Neither of you said anything, not like anything even needed to be said anyway.
You simply held him and allowed the scent of his cigarette to slowly drift around the two of you as the city below sparkled with life.
Izuku didn’t know if the nightmares were going to get better, but when he felt you gently kiss his cheek, he knew that you’d be there to support him, like you were now.

Hiiii idk if you’re doing requests rn but I just ADORE how you write Izuku and katsuki like omg-
Anyways- my meds are causing me some crazy nightmares lately and I was wondering how they would handle you waking up from a nightmare???
If you don’t take requests then forget this ever happened :’)
Have a nice day byeeeeee!!!
NIGHTMARES you wake up in a start and wake them up in the process
with izuku & katsuki
notes guys i know ive been away for way too long im so sorry!!! :( i'm in the process of moving so it's stressful T-T thanks for the request, anon, hope those nightmares got/get better :( <3
it was so vivid. your mind sunk into an alternate reality that captured all your senses. you felt yourself spiraling deeper and deeper, faster and faster—
your body jolted upright with a breathless yell and a sharp gasp, the world stilling for a mere second...
and then you leaned over your knees, your lungs racing to catch up with your need for oxygen. your chest felt tight and you squeezed your eyes, remembering that your boyfriend was laying peacefully beside you.
you peeked to your side and found him staring right back—wide, bright eyes piercing into your own—sending a shock through your body.
IZUKU
"god, izuku, you scared me—" you sighed, your hand pressing on your stomach as if that would make the uneasy feeling disappear.
"i scared you?" he sat up further, scooching closer to your side. "you scared me, angel. are you okay? you're out of breath, honey. let's do it together, okay?"
you whimpered softly as you tried to follow his guide. izuku could tell you were in distress and it took everything to stop himself from overwhelming you with questions. he just laced his fingers with yours and squeezed.
"good job, honey." izuku praised you ever-so-softly, rubbing your back soothingly. "feeling a bit better?"
you nodded, frowning. "m'sorry for waking you—"
"angel." he whined, letting his eyes do all the talking. "don't do that! please, don't do that." he actually sounded offended.
you looked away from him, your throat hurting from holding back tears. "it's been happening all the time, though, and you need your rest. maybe i should take the guest room?" you were more talking to yourself than anything, but izuku refused to let you entertain such an idea.
izuku's shoulders slumped, the shock fading as drowsiness began to overtake him. he smiled lazily, fighting a yawn. "y/n, even if i knew you would wake me up every night for the rest of time, i'd still choose to be here beside you."
you turned to face him, the horror of your nightmare slowly fading to the back of your mind. "really?"
"really." he confirmed.
you smiled, letting your head rest on your knees as you stared at him lovingly.
the rustle of sheets and whistle of wind reminded the both of you that it was indeed the middle of the night. izuku tugged you closer by your waist, pulling you back onto the bed. he groaned softly, stretching a little before he relaxed against you. "did you wanna talk about it?"
you pursed your lips. curling into his embrace, you immediately felt warmer. "...not right now."
he kissed your forehead. "don't worry, i'll always be right here to protect you from anything your head throws at you. you just tell me and let me at 'em." he kissed you again before wrapping both arms around you.
his steady breathing and soft snores brought a fond smile to your face. you found yourself falling asleep despite the night's events.
KATSUKI
you both stared at each other for a good few seconds before you spoke up.
"sorry for waking you," you mumbled, still having trouble managing your breathing. you turned away from him, pressing your palms into your eyes.
"no," he whispered with a softness reserved for you only. "you didn't wake me."
you stared at him through the darkness and could see him so clearly. "katsuki—"
"shh, it's okay, baby." he gave you a soft smile, once again reassuring you. "come 'ere."
you sniffed as you inched closer. katsuki gently took your arm and pulled you the rest of the way right into his arms. his hand fell to your waist, tracing little shapes and lines as he allowed you time.
"wanna talk about it?" he asked.
you shook your head.
"okay." he squeezed your shoulder, kissing your cheek. he figured you'd tell him when you were ready—the last thing he wanted to do was stress you out even more. it was hard, not to get all the answers on what was bothering was you... it was in his nature to want to make all your problems go away. "what do you need?"
you hand wound around his torso, hugging him back. "um..." you shuddered as you breathed in. "just you."
he smiled against your skin. "yeah? promise you're not holding back on me?"
you giggled. "yes."
"cuz you know i'd do literally anything—"
you sat up slightly, turning to face him with a swat to his chest. your face burned and it was a struggle to recall the images of your nightmare. "katsuki! oh my god."
"what?" he scrunched his nose. his eyes never left you. "it's true."
you returned to your spot between his arm. "just you."
"whatever you say." he pressed his lips to your temple before he got comfy. he sighed. "goodnight, pretty. wake me when those stupid nightmares bug you again, okay?"
your heart fluttered and your smile grew out of your control. "okay."

A Dose of Him (Tenya Iida x Reader)
_____ Pairing: Tenya Iida x Female Reader Summary: Tenya Iida is in love with you Warnings: Fluff!! A/N: Omg, my first MHA fic! Thank you for all the love, I hope this is what you were looking for! <3 [MHA Masterlist] _____
When Tenya Iida is in love, you can see it in his eyes.
Tenya never thought there could be a goal beyond becoming a hero worthy of his brother's name. But then, you walked into his life. He wishes he could say his adoration of you was built off of many interactions; deliberate and steady and methodical, just the way he liked things.
But what he soon found out was that love was quite the opposite.
It crept up onto him and grabbed a hold of him and in an instant, he was whisked away in its clutches and prone to its effects. So you can imagine when he met you on the first day in Class 1A, he was beyond surprised and almost disoriented at how one glance at you - a stranger - could influence the pace of his racing heart.
It was confusing to him at first, and he could scarcely even acknowledge that the warm feeling ignited within him was because of you: You and your words and breath and presence. But even when he himself didn't know what it was he felt, his classmates knew.
Even those usually oblivious to such things couldn't miss the ways his eyes would dart beneath his glasses at an utterance of your name. They couldn't miss the way his irises seemed to gleam whenever your light laughter blessed his ears. They couldn't miss the way his gaze searched for yours in the breadth of battles; the lingering worry and anxiety clearing only in the aftermath, when he acknowledged that you were safe and sound.
When you started dating, your shared love could only amplify the devotion in his eyes.
He confessed to you early in your second year, his nerves exceeding even what he felt in his Hero Licence Exam. It had been an ordinary afternoon to any other individual but to him it was everything. His plan was simple and thought out: to get you to join him outside once class was over for the day. What he didn’t expect was for his anticipation to brim so much, he could scarcely get the words out. Ultimately when he had gotten himself together enough, he had stood straight and bowed to you rigidly.
“[y/n] [l/n]... I have liked you for a long time now. Would you please do me the honour of going out with me?"
He didn’t expect your response to be your light laughter. But you couldn’t help yourself at the formal and serious and just Tenya-way of his confession. However, when he lifted his head in time to hear you say yes, you can see in his eyes that they shone with pure honesty, devotion and love. “Yes, Tenya Iida. I would love to go out with you.” Your words to him were the beginning of a happiness he had never felt before.
When Tenya Iida is in love, you can feel it in his touch.
Before you started dating, Tenya could stare inquisitively at his hand you brushed for lengths of time. It was to the point where Midoriya would ask if there was something wrong with his hand. Any time he felt a flutter of your warmth when you stood close to him, or even in the passing of your presence he was frustratingly flustered. When you hugged him once he had fully recovered from his fight with the Hero Killer Stain, he swore he had a heart attack.
When the both of you started dating, Tenya had to learn quickly to get used to your touch for the sake of his poor heart. But in turn, in every caress and hold of his, you could feel his gentleness and care and utter love. He treated you like you could almost break under his hold, but you also never felt safer than when you were in the confines of his secure arms.
Every battle you were paired in he would subconsciously pull you close to him. In the aftermath, he could never be satisfied until his arms were wrapped around you once more. On dates, his hand would hardly leave yours. His touch would linger as he guided you away from oncoming traffic, helped you into your seat, and held your bags of shopping. In his mind, it was a given: You were his girlfriend and it was his duty to treat you as such. But to you, he was simply a gentleman amongst men.
And he was completely and utterly yours.
In lazy afternoons he has you in his arms, and when he is finally used to your presence enough to feel bold, his touch would linger on the flesh of your bare skin. It was like you were built just to melt into his embrace, and he always felt an unmistakable loss whenever you weren't. He would never say it aloud though, due to his irrevocably stubborn and flustered nature, but you would know the next day when he would scarcely leave your side.
"Are you okay? You've been following me around all day."
"I'm just... I'm just practising my stealth skills. No need to worry."
You could roll your eyes at his bullshit excuse, but your heart could only warm when you saw the pink on his cheeks. Before your boyfriend even knew what was happening, you had moved and shoved your face into his chest. Two of your arms wrapped themselves tight around his torso. "L-love? What's wrong?" He looks down at your attachment to him, and his own arms wrap themselves instinctively around you. However, his eyes widen when you lift your head and let a knowing smile enlighten your features.
"If you wanted a hug, you could've just asked for one you know?"
His heart pounds faster against your ear.
When Tenya Iida is in love, there won't be a day that you aren't reminded of just that: he loves you.
You are currently in your boyfriend's room and leaning heavily against his shoulder as he points out words that lose shape in your tiredness. "-and this, love, is what you do when you need to find the integral of this term. You see, you cannot-" His words are a jumble in your mind, and you faintly wonder why even in your hero course, you are doing mathematics. "Love, are you listening? It is of utmost importance that you learn this before your exam next week."
You hum at your boyfriend's blunt words, somehow they take an edge of gentleness when it is you he is talking to. "I'm listening baby, just resting my eyes for a bit." You promptly go from leaning on his shoulder to placing your head on his lap; a much more comfortable position you find for your aching neck and head. You can feel your boyfriend freeze briefly at your change in position, before seeming to relax once more. You can hear the sigh he lets out under his breath.
"Perhaps, we have done enough studying for today."
You smile and open your eyes briefly at his words, but surprisingly to you, Tenya is already looking down at you with softness in his gaze. "What do you say, love? I will walk you back to your room." As he softly speaks to you, one hand caresses your face gently and your lips upturn further in delight. His touch is heavenly after a day of torturous study, and despite being grateful for your intelligent boyfriend, you find yourself wishing it had been a day spent doing something more fun together.
As you look up to him through your eyelashes, you clutch his other hand and intertwine it in yours. Tenya feels his face flush red at your gentle hands caressing his. "No, let's stay here a while. Please?" Normally, Tenya would've upheld the rules of an approaching curfew and obliged to his role as class representative. However, his stature seems to melt just by your sleepy gaze and uttered words. "Okay, love." You grin in satisfaction and let out a small laugh of glee before focusing your attention on his hand once more and relishing his touch.
Soon, and completely expected by Tenya, you fall asleep.
You don't know it, but your boyfriend lets you lay there a little while, though mostly for the selfishness of having you in his presence just a moment longer. He then uses his strength to pry you gently into his arms, getting ready to take you to your room. As he travels the corridors he pays no mind to the teasing words of his classmates nor the "that's so manly," comment made by Kirishima. No, his gaze is solely on you, and his importance on making sure his peers stay quiet enough for you to sleep. His heart lurches when you snuggle closer to his warmth.
When he finally lays you in your bed, he hesitates for a moment before placing a kiss on your forehead and gently removing the deathly grip you have on his shirt. He sees you frown at the loss in contact and proceeds to internally swear that it was the most adorable sight he's ever seen. "Good night love." His words are merely a whisper in the dark room. "I love you." He witnesses your lips upturn and he smiles adoringly.
When Tenya Iida is in love you could never question it, because he encompasses it in everything he does, just for you.

female reader preferably !!! :33
RAHHH YES I CAN!!!! Tysm for requesting!! Hope you enjoy and feel free to ask again!!

"knock, knock, knock!"
You wait at the door of Izuku's dorm, wanting to visit your boyfriend for a mini date in his room. After he doesn't answer, you slowly creak open the door, not surprised at the sight ahead of you.
Sitting at his desk, Izuku was writing in his notebook, listening to music from his headphones. You cooed at the sight of seeing Izuku so focused on his work, but you suddenly got an idea while observing him. Creeping behind him, you suddenly grab his shoulders and hug him, startling Izuku.
"Ah! What the-", he gasped. swinging his head around to see your michievous face grinning ear to ear.
"Geez, you scared me", he sighed with a hand over his heart, "what are you doing here?".
"Just missed you, I feel like we haven't gotten any time to ourselves in the past month", you mumble, avoiding his eyes out of embarrassment.
He studied your face, then grabbed your chin and forced you to look at him. Izuku gave you a soft peck on the nose, grabbing your waist and hoisting you up onto his hips. You gasp in surprise, which turns into a giggle as he tosses you onto the bed, crawling next to you and pulling the covers over the both of you.
"You wanted to spend time together right? I needed a break from studying anyway", he smiled, face flushed as he took your hand in his.
You pulled him closer to you, letting him rest his head on your chest and rubbing his back. You start to play with his green hair, scratching his scalp and slightly pulling at it. The sound of your heartbeat, you hands in his hair, and the warmth of your embrace lulled him to sleep, soft snored coming from the boy. You chucked to yourself, thinking about how lucky you are to have such a guy in your life.
"I love you, Izuku".
"Mmph, love- y/n" he mumbled in his sleep.
That made you smile.
