I have an idea for pedro×reader

The reader is an actress and she is going on tour for her new movie so the videos came out of the two of them joking around and her Co star putting his hands on her waist so pedro gets jealous and call her or maybe show up to her hotel

I debated a long time to find a co-star. I didn't want someone too young, but not too close to Pedro, I wasn't happy. So I ended up putting Y/c/n (your co-star's name) Y/c/l/n (your co-star's last name).

I wrote this a long time ago, and I re read it before publishing it. I saw I rushed the end a lot, so I had to write more. I don’t really think I did more but it really felt rush. ANYWAY. Enjoy.

PS: I do not forget about the requests, I already said before that I was taking my time writing them, and that I would write them by the inspirations and ideas, not by date. Also, this past month I was trying to write most of them before publishing progressively because I didn’t want to be overwhelmed by the requests, but it’s really hard, I still have like 6 requests! "Today we're in the company of Y/n L/n and Y/c/n Y/c/l/n for their latest movie coming out on the 1st of August." The interviewer said to the camera. "Hi" she said this time to the both of you.

"Hey" you said in unison

"How are you doing today?"

"We're great" you said with a big smile "How are you doing?"

"I'm great thank you!" She looked at her papers. "So.." she looked up at the both of you. "Pretty excited about the premiere?"

"Oh yes!" you enthusiastically said, moving your arms up, almost hitting your co-star, making him laugh

"A little too much, I am scared for my life" he joked, pretending to be scared and moving a bit away from you

"Oh come on" you laughed, hugging him from the side "why are you acting like I hit you" you were both laughing. You pretended to hold his neck

"She is very nice and gentle with people" your co-star said to the camera. Everyone was laughing

"Okay let's be serious for a second" you said, sitting straight on your chair

"So yeah you seem pretty excited" the lady said laughing

"Yeah" you chuckled "yeah" you said again more seriously

"The story is set in strong environments, was it hard to film in those different places?"

"For me it was in Egypt." Your co-star started to answer. "It was too hot"

"Too hot?" You asked confused "like the negative temperatures we had in Canada were nothing?" you chuckled

"all of them were challenging, but it was better in Canada then in Egypt"

"oh hell no, it was better in Egypt, living in the cold out there, no thank you"

"It's easier to get warm than to get cold"

"true, but it's too cold outside you can't do anything but stay inside"

"Same with both" you co-star kept going

"We're having a huge debate" the interviewer added in between

"no, you can do things outside, also you wear less clothes, you can tan, eat outside and swim, you know, just little pleasures" you listed "I can add more things if you want" you said, turning a bit towards your co-star.

"no no I think we get it" he laughed "you win"

"as usual" he tilted his head

"sure sure" he said patting your thigh "what makes you feel better"

"oh shut up" you both laughed

"You seem to have a great chemistry, did you hit it off right away?" your co-star put his harm on the back of your chair, making him turn a bit towards you. You looked at each other.

"Yeah I think so" he said

"What do you mean 'I think so'?" you laughed

"Well, we met at the read-through, we had to get into our characters right away, at first we mostly filmed during the time"

"oh yeah yeah"

"and we were simply like filming-eating-sleeping" you chuckled "so we didn't have time like to really know each other at first"

"yes that's true"

"I see" the interviewer said "but it didn't change anything for the chemistry in the movie?"

"no not really" you said" we're professionals" you joked. Your co-star was looking at you, eyeing your face. And that's when he couldn't take it anymore. Pedro closed his computer, rolling on the bed to get up. He sighed, then left the bedroom.

He missed you like crazy. You left two weeks ago on tour for your new movie and he was struggling. While you were filming the movie, he was at home, and while you were finally home, he had to leave to film too. You were both busy, and the only thing that kept you in touch was mostly texting and some phone calls here and there. When you both got back, three days later you were already gone on tour.

And now Pedro was home alone, missing you, and seeing you being close to your co-star like that made him pretty jealous to say the least. He isn't able to make you laugh, to touch you, and he can? That's the perks of being actors you might say, and yes that's true. But sometimes it doesn't make it easier.

Once Pedro was in the living room, he grabbed his phone, and tried to call you. It was ringing for a long time, he didn't think he would get you, but you finally picked up.

"Hi baby" your soft voice made his heart beat fast. He wasn't thinking rationally anymore, he had to do something, he couldn't take it anymore.

"Where are you staying for the week?" he quickly said, hoping he could join you, but fearing the answer, like you would be moving in another country for the next interviews, or that you would just say no.

"hum, wait I don't know the name of the hotel" he could hear you get up. You were probably in bed. "It's the Hestia hotel, actually not far from the airport" you paused "why? are you planning to come?" Pedro heard the excitement in your voice, reassuring him a bit.

"Yes, I don't have anything planned for the next week and I miss you so I wanted to join you, if you want to"

"of course I want to! I miss you too much" your voice gave a hint of sadness. "It's been some hectic days here, and it's been too long without you"

"tomorrow I'm here"

"good" there was a pause

"I'll see you tomorrow cariño"

"can't wait" he knew you were smiling "I love you"

"I love you too" you both hang up, going back onto your lives. Pedro already felt better after the call. He was getting very excited. The next hours were going to pass slowly as he couldn't wait to finally be with you.

Hours went by and Pedro managed to fall asleep pretty quickly, but moved a lot during the night. He woke up at 6am and left to the airport around 7:30am to get on his plane an hour later. He arrived a few hours later. As he was walking towards the exit, he noticed someone he knew. It was you. Neither of you said anything about picking him up at the airport, but you couldn't wait, even for just a few minutes more.

He stopped when he saw you, relieved. You were there, standing in front of him. He dropped his luggage when you ran to him. He picked you up in his arms and held you tight.

"finally" he muttered. Once he decided to let go, he kissed you passionately, his hands on your cheeks. It felt surreal. You saw it in his eyes when he looked at every detail on your face, as he still held it. Your hands were on his waist, and you brought him closer to hug him again. You left the airport hand in hand, feeling nothing but happiness. You were finally reunited, and it was going to be at least longer than before.

“What made you come so suddenly anyway?” You asked as you both entered the car.

“Hum, I just missed you a lot” he half-lied. It was true, he missed you too much, it was unbearable, but he also couldn’t stand having someone else touch you and be close to you like your co-star did.

Pedro thought he got away with it, but when he turned to look at you, you were eyeing him. You do know him too well.

“I appreciate it but I can feel that’s not the only reason” you stared at each other

“How’s Y/C/N?” He tried to change the subject

“Oh he’s fine, we were about to have a little dinner together”

“Just the two of you?” He shyly asked, feeling his confidence running away. You started to drive back to the hotel.

“Yes, and then we were thinking about heading to bed you know to have a little fun” he looked at you with big wide eyes. “So that’s the other reason” you joked

“What?”

“My big jealous man” you said caressing his chin for a second

“You weren’t really going to go to bed with him, yeah okay I see the sarcasm” he rolled he eyes, looking at the road, avoiding you.

“I’m not cheating on you Pedro”

“I am not doubting you”

“But you flew to another country because you trust me so much”

“I trust you” he immediately looked at you “it’s the others that I don’t trust”

“Like who?”

“Like Y/c/n? I saw the interview, hands on your thighs, the way he looked at you”

“He doesn’t even stand a chance” you joked

“That’s not the problem, he won’t stop”

“He is just being friendly” you looked at him from time to time

“I’m sorry, it’s just- I didn’t get to see you a lot, I really missed you and it drove me crazy seeing this” you put your hand on his thigh

“I know I know, and I missed you more” his heart was beating fast because of nervousness. He hated feeling vulnerable, but especially showing it to you. Jealousy can be perceived badly, like not trusting the person and such, but it’s not true.

Once you arrived at the hotel, you were met with your co-star on your way to your bedroom. He did seem confused and a little sad when you cancelled the dinner with him. But none of you talked about it and decided to move on about that. If he was interested he definitely knew he had no chance now.

The next few days have been perfect. It was getting calmer, and the fact that Pedro was here helped you a lot. You didn't have this anxiety of being away anymore. Pedro wasn’t feeling jealous anymore but he was still watching your co-star from a distance. At the end of the week you were getting nervous because Pedro was about to leave again. But, as a surprise (not really you discussed it), he actually stayed longer. He had nothing to do that couldn't be done on the phone or on the computer, so he stayed for the rest of the tour.

Being in each other’s presence was helping you. He calmed your anxiety, and he was reassured and not jealous anymore.

I was talking to a friend about how in recent years it has become so common to have anti-heroes and villains as protagonists. I think this trend started with Tony Soprano back in 2000 and it was definitely something that changed series and movies in a good way, gave us alot of great and interesting characters to explore (Tony Soprano himself was an incredible and complex character that captivated the audience, even though he sometimes did things that we found horrible and hated him for it. But seeing the success and popularity, it's no wonder that after the Sopranos show people started to explore the idea of ​​anti-hero/villain protagonists way more). I can't say when this trend started in anime, if it was before or after The Sopranos, but it also became something quite common (Light Yagami, Eren Yeager, Lelouch Lamperouge and the list goes on). I confess that sometimes I miss seeing a character with a good alignment as the protagonist, I wanted to know your opinion on these things.

So... I think there are a few layers here.

I don't actually agree that morally gray protagonists are very common at all, sorry Anon!, but--

I do think there is a general lack of well-written protagonists of all moralities, and--

All writing is a product of its time to an extent, and in a world where people at least pay lipservice to the idea that we are all culpable for the horrid state of the world, stories are at least going to pay lipservice to that.

On the line of lipservice.... Antihero protagonists do exist, but I think if anything protagonists have become very, very sanitized. Even the ones who are considered antiheroes aren't really doing anything bad. They're just vessels for the authors to preach... which, to be fair to authors, is also partially because I do think there's a lack of critical thinking among the populace and no one wants to be accused of supporting something truly terrible especially in an age where cyberbullying is an expected part of the job. But writing about it isn't inherently an endorsement.

Even in stories like House of the Dragon, which literally is based on a book that is all about gray morality, has sanitized the characters (especially the Blacks and even more so the women) so much that they are barely characters anymore. They're not the ambitious, human people who love and lust and hurt and do the unforgivable yet are still so human. Again, I think the reasoning is pretty clearly to appeal to the audience by not doing the misogyny GoT Season 8 was... except they ironically actually are but bending over so far backwards they're making the characters caricatures instead of people.

I mean, I don't know which movies nowadays besides nugu artsy ones don't have a "good" protagonist. It's far more common. Look at Pixar, at Marvel, at Disney's stranglehold on the industry. Look at BNHA. Part of this is genre-dependent too, but. Good guy wins. Bad guy loses.

In fact, it's so common for people to assume that protagonist status is an endorsement of everything the protagonist does that a sizable portion of AoT fans refuse to accept that Eren Jaeger wasn't intended to be a hero and created ANR, and other fans wrote for big-name publications directly calling Isayama a fascist for portraying a hero who sank into fascism. Overall, I do think the majority got the message, but I also think that while there are certainly some things that could have been done better, the main issue isn't the messaging of the story. I don't think AoT is muddy thematically. I do think the majority of people can't think critically if their life depended on it these days.

That said, I do think what you're onto is that a lot of characters and protagonists just are not well-written. Heroic or not, they're not well done. They're vessels to be used to prop up the author's moral views, rather than explore the difficult questions about what it means to navigate that morality in a bleak world. And I can't even blame them, because the way audiences respond gives them no choice.

Yet, antihero characters are often the more popular characters over MCs. Why? Because they're usually the ones who have a touch of humanity left, and also because tragic stories have appeal when the world is, well, tragic. Until the Mouse beats that humanity out of them anyways. However--

A good "good" protagonist is Luffy from One Piece, honestly. He's complex and interesting while maintaining his fundamental desire for kindness and compassion in the world. Or Tenma from Monster. Jim and Aja from Tales of Arcadia and Adora from She-Ra, too! And Xie Lian from TGCF (okay he considered genocide but--). And, of course, Ruby from RWBY!

Yes, please, Detective Williams in cahoots with the trio is what was needed. Now, she's obviously somewhat ticked off that she's being shut off from investigating a murder on her turf, but also she totally likes the trio.

I'm so pleased to see Williams develop as a character, too. She goes from a very serious workaholic no-nonsense badass to fresh mama badass, who unashamedly loves the theatre enough to leave her interrogations and cheer for Charles (as seen in the Pickwick Triplets music video), to openly concerned helpful mama bear to her podcast triplets. This show is just brilliant, letting all its side characters shine and have their own stories.

Let's just let her do her little cop monologue, she's earned it.

No, it's suspicious because supposed-man-in-Portugal-and-not-in-Spain left a live piglet in his bathroom and tried to get into the apartment while Olimabel was in there.

So if Prof. Dudenoff—which is a hell of a suspicious name and probably means something significant—is supposedly in Portugal and the Oh Hell gang get their toilet ham from Portugal, do they just call the apartment next door Portugal and make ham there?

It's very possible that no one exactly hates Charles enough to kill him, maybe his death would just benefit them in some other way. Although they already did that with Bunny and why should the writers repeat themselves, so I remain unconvinced.

The set chairs on the roof were a nice touch.

Okay, but Williams is married with a kid. And the best thing about Galifragilistic is the Mary-Poppins-inspired nickname that Oliver gave him. I did like her calling him a baklava, but that's it. Calm down, detective.

Even if Levy is just being tactically polite to Charles, which is yet to be proven, it still makes him the kindest and most likable of the Hollywood trio. It's about time someone was nice to Charles without turning every compliment into a joke at his expense.

I couldn't be more disinterested in Galifragilistic and his rude indifference towards his job and Oliver. I mean, Oliver is so fun and extravagant, anyone would be lucky to play him and should enjoy every second they could spend getting to know him.

I think it's so sweet that Oliver hung up his Death Rattle Dazzle poster in the spot where he used to have his Splash poster. I wonder which show he considers his biggest flop now: Splash or the original Death Rattle (it's obviously not Death Rattle Dazzle which was a hit and no one can convince me otherwise).

I agree with Oliver about the sweater. Where did Howard get that sad sweater? His last one slayed.

Looks like Howard is winning at spontaneous pet adopting this season. Oliver has dropped behind with his Mrs. Gambolini—who I still insist is around although there was no mention of her throughout season 3.

Okay, so what's up with the theme song from Perfect Strangers?

The roller-coaster that this scene took me on, I tell you. Howard is precious, a little misguided but fiercely loyal, I love it. But it has been a while since I've been so pissed at someone on the screen as I was just now at Galifragilistic. Sure, yeah, his last degrading speech and the little slap was basic Oliver behaviour with an added touch of oblivious viciousness, so he has learned a little something during his day with Oliver after all, but that cruelty was totally uncalled for and I can't believe he just touched Oliver like that. Hands off my pocket-sized baby Willy Wonka!

The funniest part of this episode: Charles and Vince's hug, peak comedy that.

So that picture with the Oh Hell gang and a markered-off-faced pig lady—nice clue, probably an interesting lead, also probably not the killer, but that's all I'm saying about that. Just wanted to say that while I know we're 100% not doing that again, those dungarees and what look like plaits and the connection to pigs are giving Loretta-but-back-in-Mamma-Mia!.

Oh my God. It was less than five seconds between me thinking, "Hmm, I could see Mabel living in a place like this and starting to build it into her own space, after all of this is over and done with. Maybe exactly this place. She could see her guys from her window every day," and Mabel googling squatters' rights.

What is happening, Charles, is some Olimabel bonding time between Mabel-who-is-not-into-this-musical-shit and Oliver who deserves to have his dad moments with Mabel, too.

I'm impressed by how quickly they recognized the number as a frequency. They really are on fire this season. There was a time when they based half of their case on whether the word was "Savage" or "sandwich".

Let me answer your question in simplest terms; Luke was intended to be Force-sensitive from day one and his character built up around that. Sabine's Force-sensitivity is a big fat retcon that overshadows the infinitely more interesting aspects of her character.

1. Did ANY of you people hear Dave Filoni ever say Sabine WASN'T a Force sensitive? Maybe he always planned for her to be a Jedi? Where is the interview that said he DIDN'T plan it?

2. Intended? Like the way Leia was set up as the sister of Luke AND then set up as a Force user from EP 1? Like Vader was set up as Luke's dad in EP 1 too?

3. I would like SW fans to stop rewriting history, and stop pretending as if George Lucas had a perfect plan for the SW universe that DIDN'T change after the first movie & every few years after that.

4. There is enough plausible/fan wrangling theorising material from "Rebels" to make it work. I love how SW fans can bend backwards to prove some obscure fan/head canon with literally a flash of a pic or some one liner, or a look at a character etc. But don't wanna work with Kanan & Hera talking about Sabine being stubborn and blocked in CANON while training how to use the dark sabre with JEDI fundamentals. But dude, let's theorise ALL the people that are under the mask of whatever character.

5. Personal preference - I like Sabine as a Mandalorian Jedi. I like the fact it took her years to resolve the conflict of her guilt, her heritage, trauma etc. And once again, Mandalorian fucking Jedi - fucking awesome. And it is curious to me you talk about the "interesting aspects" of her character but name none of them. As if being a Force user somehow removes all those "interesting aspects", makes them somehow less.

Here, let me help you list those aspects, and how being a Force user negates nor overshadows NONE of those aspects:

She was a child genius who developed a weapon that killed her own people, she had to live with that guilt & trauma.

She is a Mandalorian who wanted to express herself in a different way - her art.

She ran from her family, her culture, her homeworld, she abandoned them in their time of need. That's a tonne of fucking guilt.

Her Mandalorian upbringing ingrained in her certain ideas about the Jedi, most likely not positively. Something she had to resolve & work through. And DEFINITELY became a block in her training to becoming a Jedi. In other word - CONFLICT that makes her so much more interesting.

Her guilt over not being able to save Kanan, compounded by letting Ezra walk into certain death.

Her guilt and trauma over her family and her people killed on Mandalore, and not being able to save them.

Her SENSE of inadequacy she can't compare to Ezra in the Force, can't compare to the thousands of youngling who became Jedi.

Her sense of being a DISAPPOINTMENT to Ahsoka, to Hera, to the fact she can't find Ezra.

All of these interesting aspects of her character are STILL THERE in her character, it LITERALLY powers the motivations and choices she makes in the show. She is just now also a fucking Jedi Padawan to Ahsoka fucking Tano.

But sure, her Force ability overshadows her "interesting aspects", and not like it make her so much more fucking interesting and awesome.

So on my initial watch I actually kinda enjoyed it. Now HEAR ME OUT I CAN EXPLAIN-

I kind of enjoyed the songs (mostly because I didn’t really listen to the lyrics) and the movie and characters weren’t even that bad.

But after I thought about it some more and watched the behind the scenes videos I realized a couple things:

Is Asha canonically the OG fairy godmother?

I still don’t know why Magnifico wanted the wishes all to himself

My biggest gripe with the movie is how much potential it had, but it just fell short.

For this movie being Disneys big 100th anniversary project, it feels half baked. It felt unfinished, like I was watched the rough draft; the version that they show to a test audience to see what they needed to change and fix.

The people that worked on it kept saying that it was supposed to reflect the OG Disney that people know and love. If I’m being honest, they kind of missed the mark on it. As a movie in general it wasn’t terrible, but there were some things that were just missing.

Magnifico

Magnifico as a “classic Disney Villain” just didn’t make sense to me. He really has no clear reason for keeping the wishes all to himself. I know most of the classic villains were just kinda evil to be evil, but there was still a reason for them to be evil. (For example Malificent was salty about not being invited to the ball [kinda extra but whatever] the Evil queen wanted to be the fairest of them all,the witch doctor from Princes and the Frog wanted money,etc etc, you get the idea). The one thing they did though was making him and unredeemable villain. Bro was rotten to the core and had me hating him by the end of the movie, no matter how fine he is(one of the most handsome villains lemme just SAY)

And don’t even get me STARTED on his villain song. It felt too much like a lead up to his actual villain song. If there was a reprise or something like that later in the movie I could have accepted that. Theo whole thing just felt too upbeat and almost childish to me. They were cooking a little bit in the middle but they lost it again.

Star

I SIMPLY WILL NOT LET GO OF THE FACT THAT WE AS A COMMUNITY WERE ROBBED!! There was so much potential for this Peter Pan type character and possible love interest?? And it’s not even because I’m a romance buff, but most female leads in Disney classics have a love interest, and if I’m to believe that this is reminiscent of said classics, we need a love interest. (Also can we just collectively agree that Star Boy would be added the Tubler sexy man list with expediency? Yes? Ok.)

The Queen

I don’t have much to nitpick about the queen but WE COULD HAVE HAD A VILLIN DUO! There was so much potential for some BANGER villain duets. And sure the classics didn’t really have villain couples per se, but they had plenty of villain groups, so it still would have made sense.

The references

I expected a lot more references and Easter eggs from other Disney movies, but I was struggling. I was looking the whole time and all I found were some hidden Mickey’s and a few throw aways lines alluding to characters and other movies. This is Disney’s big 100th anniversary! It should be full of references from all 100 years of movies! Maybe that’s just me but those references weren’t cutting it for me.

The Fandom

The Wish fandom is actually thriving more than I thought. We made a whole fandom out of nothinggg! Fan art, edits, fanfics, animatics, whole entire songs!! You name it, we have it. Honestly we should have just made the movie ourselves.

Again I say as a base movie it wasn’t that bad. There were some witty lines I liked, the friend group was cool (prob some of my fave characters tbh). The talking goat was THE funniest character(argue with the wall) and the Star is very plushy-able and I WILL be buying it when the murch drops thank YOU. Plus the storyline made sense with it being about making your dreams come true and such, perfectly falling in line with the whole Disney brand.

There were plenty of good things about it but it just wasn’t enough to call it a good anniversary movie. I finished the movie feeling horribly underwhelmed. It just felt like another Disney movie. I expected a lot more.

I mostly likely will be watching it again just to see if I find more, and who knows maybe it will be better the second time around.

Also make sure to leave a comment so I can see if I’m alone thinking that this movie wasn’t entirely a mistake haha…

19. Give us a small teaser from one of your WIPs.

There's important stuff being said, probably, but the only thought Pete's brain is capable of processing right now is this one: Oh my God, he's such a fucking DILF.

Well, okay, that's not exactly true, because as soon as that thought slides through his psyche, it butts right up against the answering one that shouts Patrick! That fucking DILF is fucking PATRICK!, and then he gets sort of stuck in that loop for a little while, until at last the DILF thing overpowers the shrieking confusion of the fact that up until a couple of minutes ago, he'd only known Patrick Stump as a sort of sweaty, scowl-y, angel-voiced teenager, and the whole thing starts over again with the urge to drool dramatically over the glasses and the beard and the fucking build of him, Jesus fucking Christ.

Suffice to say, it's been a challenging few minutes.

27. Is there a fic you were nervous to post/share? Why?

There have been a couple of notable ones in recent memory, one that I won't name because I ended up posting it on a sock account and then this one. In both cases, I was essentially scared of being harassed over the content of the fics; the unnamed fic contains a couple of noncon scenes, and obviously the linked fic is Waycest, lol. Both have been received pretty well so far (touch wood), so, I mean, I'm definitely building up confidence, I think? I very strongly believe in the idea of writing whatever and who cares what people think, but also I am very small and very frightened lol. It's a whole thing.

Random fic idea, under the cut because it's a bit long: P2 RHPS AU feat. Bandom At Large!

Due to watching the video of Patrick's performance of "I Can Make You A Man" for the 2020 RHPS charity livestream--which, oh my God, by the way--I was struck by the idea of a Rocky Horror AU. To be clear, I don't mean an AU based on the movie the Rocky Horror Picture Show, I mean an AU about the boys putting on the Rocky Horror Picture show. So really, I suppose, it's a college community theater AU of some kind, but it's focused around RHPS. Not that I've been involved in a production myself, other than at CTY, I suppose, but having done community theater generally and attended RHPS productions, I think I can make a fair attempt.

So, anyway. Pete is running the thing--whole thing is his idea, he's the director, etc. I feel like this is likely not the first year, and in fact Pete likely inherited the production from an upperclassman. But they had a lot of people graduate last year, and they're having trouble backfilling those roles, so in addition to directing he's reprising his role as Rocky. They're advertising hard for musicians, too, because Pete--being a go big or go home kind of guy--ALSO wants to perform with a live band this year and do a proper Rocky Horror Show production, rather than perform in front of the film as they've typically done. That's how Patrick gets involved: he shows up to inquire about playing in the pit, because he's always trying to pick up odd musical jobs here and there to pay for school, and in true Fall Out Boy fashion he ends up singing a little bit and Pete's like, wait, no, holy fuck, sing this, throws the book at him, Patrick sings a bit of one of Frank's lines, and that's all she wrote. They've been having a particular amount of trouble casting Frank, and Pete decides Patrick is perfect for the role, which kind of baffles everyone else, especially Patrick, but Pete's like... distractingly pretty, so against his own better judgement Patrick agrees.

Beyond that, I'm not sure what the actual, like, plot would be. I think Patrick has a passing familiarity with RHPS but definitely not intimate knowledge, so partially he has to get up to speed. Partially, too, he has to overcome his stage fright and particularly his aversion to appearing on stage in front of a bunch of strangers while wearing sexy outfits and doing a lot of slutty slutty things, so there's that, but idk if that's a "plot" per se. There's also the implication/background of the production being sort of scrappy, but I don't know that that's a "plot" either, really. Hmmm.

Well, in the meantime, other notes that I had in my head include Gabe Saporta as Brad because I think that's really funny given his everything; Joe and Andy are definitely involved, I think with Joe playing Meatloaf and Andy drumming, or maybe Andy's Meatloaf and Joe is Riff Raff???? General DCD2/bandom cast... Uhhh, Ray should definitely be in the band/pit, Hayley Williams and Gerard are Magenta and Columbia (not sure which is which--I like Gerard as a sexy maid, so maybe he's Magenta???), and then that leaves, what, the criminologist??? Oh, and Janet, obviously. Maybe Greta from the Hush Sound is Janet? Or Vicky-T, that would make a lot of sense. Frank is either in the pit or he's the stage manager or something. Or crew. He kind of has insane stage crew energy. Mikey is... there. Possibly pit as well. Possibly just hanging around and the joke is everyone's always like, Mikey what the fuck are you doing here???? and he just shrugs and the answer is that he tends to get dragged into things Gerard's involved in and this is no different, but really he's just hanging around.

Leo and Leon from my Soul Switching AU drop into the @tmntbestsibscompetiton!

[Soul Switching: Rise Leo and 2012 Leo switch with each other when they sleep. Two people sharing their life with the other causes drama. Leo is 2012, Leon is Rise]

Two blue portals – one a bright, electric shade and the other a more dull and calm color – opened above a large area with many different kinds of people wandering about.

The only problem? The portals were angled so when two turtle mutants fell out of them they collapsed on top of each other.

The two groaned, shifting and collapsing into an even bigger mess on the floor.

“Ugh, what hit me?” The red-eared slider mutant, shifted to prop himself arms with his arms.

The other quickly got his bearings, immediately sitting up when he heard the familiar voice. “Leon?”

The red-eared slider turned. “Leo? What are you doing here? I was not expecting another one of these situations to be happening.”

“I don’t think this is another situation like that…” Leo looked around, trying to figure out what happened. “Huh. This isn’t my world, but it isn’t yours either. It seems to be some sort of place where multiple worlds can hang out? I mean there’s a lot of versions of us here, so maybe there’s a big threat that needs to be handled that needs a bunch of us helping out.”

Leon rolled his eyes fondly. “Dude. Chill. There’s literally a big banner that says ‘TMNT Best Sibs Comp’, so I don’t think there’s a big threat to the universe or anything like that.”

“Comp? Like competition?” Leo asked, interested. He got a competitive gleam in his eyes. “How do we win?”

“I have no clue. But hey! At least we’re in our own bodies. It’d suck if we just got thrown here while we were switched.” Leon said, standing up. “But we can agree that this is so cool, right? Just like Jupiter Jim and the Jim Jupiters!”

“I think you mean Space Heroes Episode 329: The Trans-Dimensional Crew!” Leo responded. “But heck yeah this is cool! I know we’ve kinda already had the whole other worlds thing figured out, but this is wayyy different. There’s so many different versions of you around here!”

Leon grinned. “I know right!? I wonder if everyone here has the switching thing. I know there’s probably differences between each group, but not everyone, right? Also JJ and the JJs is way better than that Space Heroes episode. 20 minutes of a tv series is nothing compared to a full JJ movie!”

“Yeah it’d be so weird if we’re the only versions of us that switch. Wait, what if the switching isn’t with us, but with our brothers!” Leo gasped. “And how dare you disrespect Space Heroes. Just because it’s a show doesn’t make it any worse that Jupiter Jim. I’ll even say it makes it better than Jupiter Jim!”

“Oh my god, imagine a world where Donnie switches! Jupiter Jim’s better.”

“I’m pretty sure your brother would have somehow just consumed my Donnie’s soul. There’s no way those two would be able to coexist like we do. There’s no beating Space Heroes.”

“Don’t doubt your Donnie, just because mine is more showy with his craziness doesn’t mean yours isn’t equally unhinged. Jupiter Jim.”

“You know who’s really unhinged? My Raph. Especially compared to yours. Space Heroes.”

“Ha! They would never be able to hide it! There’s no way they could ever pretend to be the same person — they’re just too different! Jupiter Jim.”

“Just imagine Raph in Raph’s huge body. Space Heroes.”

“Honestly a bit terrifying. Jupite– oh look, a bracket! Looks like a tournament style thing. Though only the first matchups are shown…” Leon got distracted from the back and forth by a big screen showing the standings.

“Hm? Where are we on it?” Leo turned his head to see where Leon was looking, scanning the list.

“I don’t know, there’s a bunch of weird names for each group. Which makes sense, it’s not like they can just write our names, with everyone being the same person and all.” Leo drummed his shell as he looked.

“Soul Switching? You think that’s us?” Leo asked.

“Where’s that? Oh, yeah, could be. Bit on the nose, isn’t it?” Leon stared at the bracket. “Wait, does that mean that we’re the only people that switch?”

Leo shrugged. “I guess it was always a possibility. It is a little weird though. There’s so many people here, and none of them switch like us?”

“That’s what I’m saying! Who are we up against, anyway?” Leon squinted at the screen.

“Some group titled Separated Leo? I have no idea what that could mean for our chances. And none of the Leos around here seem to be alone. Maybe we should ask around? Figure out what group we’re up against?” Leo scanned the crowd. “I’m sure we’ll be able to beat them with no struggle― wait why did I just get a foreboding feeling. We’re not going to lose that bad, right?”

 “Will you come to the theater?” Was the first thing Enda asked Cillian over the phone. 

“Good morning to you, I’m good thanks.” Cillian replied with sarcasm while pouring some coffee for himself. 

“We don’t need those formalities, I’ve seen you drunk, you’ve seen me emptying my stomach…” Cillian could imagine his friend pulling his own face from the desperation. “Do you think she will show up?” 

“For the sake of my marriage I hope she does!” Cillian heard Joeleen’s voice in the background. 

“Poor Joe, she deserves an award for living with you.” He knew Enda had the call on speaker.

“He’s driving me crazy Cill! Can you adopt him?” Joeleen’s voice again. 

Cillian chuckled and heard the familiar steps of his sons upstairs, taking a quick glance at the clock, he realized they still had time. 

“My hands are full at the moment, but I will let you know if there’s an open spot.” He joked. 

As they said their goodbyes, the toasts were ready and his mood on spot that morning. Scout joined him in the kitchen yawning, the smell of food always did the trick for him. 

“What do you think, hmm?” Cillian asked the black Labrador who lifted on his back paws and rested the front ones against his body. Bending down he scratched Scout’s head. “Will she accept to be in the play?” 

What were the chances of finding the perfect person to play a part in the middle of the day?

These kind of things rarely happen, it’s like winning the lottery. 

But it also reminded him a lot of the way he stared in theater, all of those years and he could still remember the first time he held a script in his hands.

Someone once told him, the story should both excite and scare you at the same time, there was no other way around.

“It’s been a while since I’ve done theater.” Cillian continued with his one way conversation. ”But if is meant to happen, I think it would be a good chance to try.”

He had been busy in other projects and well, then the tragedy that made him pause his life happened.

“I like it when you’re on stage da.” His youngest son, Ben joined him. 

Cillian raised his eyebrows in surprise. 

“You do?” Maybe he heard him wrong. 

Ben took the toast and sipped at his shake, but since his mouth was full, he nodded eagerly. 

Leaning against the stove, Cillian crossed his arms, savoring Ben’s words for a moment. 

“It’s a beautiful script.” He mumbled more to himself than anything. 

“You always say that.” Andrew pinched his brother and a round of complaints started.  

“Finish your breakfast, I will be at the theater for the rest of the day, your aunt Sile will pick you up.” 

“Can we go to the movies?” Ben asked with a big smile. 

It seemed like ages ago when he last enjoyed something like that, something as a regular as a night out watching a film. 

“Yeah, take your cousins with ya, and don’t let Sile pay, no matter what she says.” He took some bills from his wallet and handed them to Andrew, his oldest.  

“Tell him he has to share that with me, the last time he didn’t give me money for popcorn.” Ben asked. 

Cillian shot Andrew a glance. “Hey, if you do that I will take your phone for a week.” 

“Dad!”  

“Zip it, eat your breakfast you’re going to be late.” 

Ben stared at his father in silence. “You look weird without the beard, good actually.” 

Cillian blushed and let out an uncomfortable laugh at his son’s compliment.  

“It was getting too complicated to maintain.” 

“You don’t look so old now.” Teased Andrew.  

 Cillian wrapped his arm around his son’s neck, in a wrestling motion and bending him down, he asked: “who are you calling old now, hmm?” 

Andrew’s face immediately became red as he pleaded his father to release him. 

Laughs and joy filled the kitchen, a deep contrast with the silence and awkwardness they have been moving around the last couple of months. 

“Right, now go and be good, see you for dinner.” 

“Bye Dad!” Ben gave him a quick hug and ran off to the door. At ten years old, he still gave dad a hug, he actually started to do it more frequently after losing his mother. Cillian wondered how long it would last.. 

“Love you.” Cillian didn’t get a response as he waved at them. “Love you too.” He answered to himself.

“Wish me luck.” He asked Scout right before going out.

Being completely honest with himself, he was so nervous for the outcome, they still didn’t have Marianne’s confirmation to be in the play, and he also couldn't even start to name his feelings towards the whole thing, to be on stage one more time after so long.

But deep down, he knew if there was something that could actually save him was this, to be able to perform, to leave his heart and soul every night on stage.

Stepping in the theater brought back so many memories for him, it was almost as if he could see himself from the outside messing around, carefree, following his instincts, having fun, enjoying every second of it. He wouldn’t change anything. 

There’s something magical about a stage play that you don’t get on a film, it’s all about owning the stage the moment the lights go down and surrender completely to the audience until they start the ovation. It’s about getting rid of all the mental chains every single night. 

And he wanted to do it again. 

More than anything. 

“I swear you’re driving me crazy Enda, you can’t make a change like this in the last minute.” Heidi walked from backstage with Enda following her steps, she was his right hand for the play they were rehearsing. And apparently, she just found out about Enda’s wish to stop his current play to focus on ‘Look at the soul’. “We’re just a month away of the big opening.” 

“Six weeks.” Corrected Enda in a low voice, hiding his hands inside the pockets of his jeans. 

“Excuse me?!”  

“I said we’ve six weeks to make this happen.” If only his walking miracle with long dark hair and green eyes and a smile that could stop the traffic would walk through the corridor. “We’ll need just a couple of adjustments.” 

“Did Marianne confirm you already?” 

“No.” Enda shook his head. “But I’m hoping she will.” 

“Why are you making changes if you’re not sure yet?” Heidi deserved an award for her patience towards Enda, he could be a maniac sometimes. 

“Maybe she’s still reading the script.” Enda tried to justify as he leaned against the column. 

“Tell him he’s crazy?” Heidi looked at Cillian pleading he would take her side. 

“He is.” Cillian admitted with a smile. “But I will have to agree with him this time.” 

“What am I supposed to tell the investors?” 

“That we have a bombshell in our hands.” 

Just because he had the script written, it doesn’t mean you can turn it into a play overnight, rehearsals take months, wardrobe, music, the set… 

“You’re pushing her to her limits.” Cillian pointed towards the path Heidi was taking, mumbling something to herself. 

“I’m sure she will find a way.” 

Cillian looked at his clock. 

Would Marianne find the play interesting enough? 

“Do you want to see the bar I’ve got for this? It was backstage.” 

“No. I’m going to get a coffee.” Because it was too early for a pint, he thought. 

“There’s a coffee machine here.” 

“Enda, your plays are great, but your coffee is shit.”  

His friend faked indignation. “Ungrateful bitch.” 

Truth is this was making him feel anxious, worse than waiting for a call about a role for a movie. So he decided to walk to the coffee shop that was close to the theater.

Coming down from the bus, Marianne started to pay attention to the familiar song that randomly started to play through her headphones.

And I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd You're gonna hear my voice when I shout it out loud

This couldn't be more fitting, more perfect.

It perfectly described part of her feelings right there.

It's my life It's now or never

Finding an empty spot at the park, Marianne sat at the bench with the script on her lap. 

My heart is like an open highway Like Frankie said, "I did it my way"

Her mind re-playing the conversations she had with two close people over and over. 

The impact of what we say stays imprinted in the mind, and it can either encourage us or make us quit.

They both thought she was joking about the way the script came to her, that she couldn’t be serious about accepting the role. She had a promising career, a job promotion waiting back home once she finished her master degree. 

Feeling deflated and with so many doubts in her heart, she crossed the street. 

The autumn breeze made her shiver. Or maybe it was the goosebumps after watching the theater from a couple of meters away. 

She believed firmly some opportunities come and knock on your door directly. While other people keep waiting all their lives for it.

Was this her one in a million?

It surely wasn’t something she expected, neither planned to happen in her life. And it sounded like a chance she couldn’t miss.

But she also knew the scholarship she got was a huge responsibility she couldn’t just turn down. Could she manage to do both? 

Her eyes were fixed on the big billboard that announced the Olympia Theater. 

Imposing, majestic.  

What if she wasn’t made for this? If she got scared in the middle of the play? She wasn’t scared of the project, she was afraid of being able to perform onstage.

A million thoughts crossed her mind as a bunch of people walked past her, in a rush, would any of them be interested in going to a play starring her?

What if no one liked that a foreigner was the leading role?

The story was so interesting, the character had her full attention from the first lines, Adria’s pain was so palpable and heartbreaking, some parts of her dialogue playing in the back of her mind like a song you can’t stop thinking about.

It felt just like the previous seconds right before jumping, when your heart is beating to the maximum capacity and you see your life flashing by. The scariest moment before the calmness.

Closing her eyes for an instant, Marianne took a deep breath.

“Flip a coin.” Said a deep voice next to her, pulling her out of her thoughts. “If you have doubts, just flip a coin.”  

It was Cillian walking towards her, a coffee cup in his hand. His face was completely shaved, he looked like a different person. 

“This is deeper than leaving an important decision to fate, right?” Marianne asked. 

“Because in the few seconds that the coin is in the air, you will see what side of the coin your heart desires, and that’s exactly what you should do.” 

His words were so right. They felt so right, just what she needed to hear.

“But I don’t think you came all the way just say that you don’t want to do this.” 

“Have you done this before?” 

Even though she didn’t answer directly, he could already see the yes in her eyes. The answer burning from the inside. There was so much of herself that reminded him of the old Cillian.

Cillian nodded and his blue eyes sparkled. “But every night feels like it’s the first time.” 

“Why is the knot in my stomach growing?” 

“Because you really want to give this a shot.” 

“What if I’m not what you’re expecting?” 

Cillian arched his eyebrow. “Is this the same woman that broke a mirror in the middle of an audition?” 

Marianne opened her mouth to apologize for that, but Cillian interrupted her. 

“I think you were born for this role, Adria has been waiting for you all this time.” 

The firm statement made her feel goosebumps, her mind and heart holding a battle.

There was something about Cillian that made her feel secure, he had assured her he would be by her side every step of the way as some kind of mentor or coach.

 Heidi looked at her watch and Enda thought it was time to get some fresh air, or he would get a heart attack. Walking outside, he decided to go and find his friend.

But to his surprise, he didn’t need to walk a lot, because he found Cillian sitting on the steps outside the theater, with a woman who slowly turned her head around, gifting him a head tilt and a kind smile.

“No fucking way!” Enda could hardly contain his excitement. “You’re here!”

The screenplay writer rushed down the theater steps to give his leading role a hug.

“Thank you, you’re not going to regret this.”

Marianne’s face relaxed at his enthusiasm, it was contagious and it felt like she made the right decision.

Enda ushered them inside, and after providing Heidi some instructions for the changes, Cillian and Marianne followed him to the rehearsals room.

“K, now let me hear about your requests.”

Marianne looked at him confused.

“He means the terms and conditions you want in your contract.” Cillian offered her a warm smile. “It usually doesn’t work like that, but it looks like you have him eating from your hand.” He then winked at her.

“Well, I just don’t want to assume anything,” Enda leaned forwards on the table, willing to give her anything, Cillian took a pen and paper to write it down, “but I won’t under any circumstance make a naked scene.”

“Those scenes aren’t part of this play, don’t worry.” Enda assured he.

Marianne shook her head. “Doesn’t matter.”

“Got it.” Pointed Cillian. “What else?”

“I need another job to pay for my expenses, I can help with everything you need, budget, accounting, administration...”

But before Enda could answer he couldn’t afford another salary, Cillian interrupted him.

“I will take care of that.”

Adjusting his specs on is nose, Enda asked his friend: “are you going to pay for that or what?”

“Lets get to the next point, I will tell you later.” He answered. “Did you know that she studied Finance?” Cillian touched his head with the pen indicating that she had a brain they shouldn’t ignore and encouraged Marianne to continue.

“Rehearsals and the play cannot overlap my MBA studies, I fought so hard to win my scholarship and if I fail, they can take it away.”

“Got it, school is a priority.” Cillian wrote down, far too excited for her compromise.

“We can make it work.”

“Charity.”

Enda made a face. “I’m not following.”

“I want the play to be involved in charity and I want to be part of it, you can pick the association, it can be kids with special needs, single mothers, pets looking for family...”

Cillian nodded. “We can donate a percentage of certain dates too.”

“I don’t have money to give it away, we barely get back what we invest... I’m not the bloody barefoot nuns!”

“Excuse me? When did you get promoted from narrator to partner?”

Marianne was looking from one man to the other.

“Do you want her in your play or not?” Standing up, Cillian pointed at Marianne, then leaned his palms on the table and fixed his eyes on his friend. “Do you realize she’s not asking anything for herself? She’s not asking for a driver to take her from school to the theater in a limo, or another apartment because she lives on the other side of the city, she’s asking to share part of the profits and do something good for someone else. We can do a few extra nights to recover, get more sponsorship.”

“Fine... you can have your charity.” Enda rubbed his eyes.

Cillian looked at her with a pleased smile, sticking his tongue out while writing the request.

“I didn’t know I could ask for a driver.” Marianne teased in a low voice, but it was enough for Enda to hear. There was no need, she could easily move around in bus. Cillian tried to hide his smile.

“No, you can’t.” Enda leaned on the chair for support, maybe the driver was a better idea, but now it was late to suggest it.

“I would like my mom to see the play.”

“Oh for God’s sake!”

Cillian had to wipe away the tears that formed in he corner of his eyes and suppress a laugh.

“Plane ticket for mom.” He wrote down.

“Are you her manager now?”

Marianne looked at Cillian, expectation in her eyes. Another smile formed on his lips when he looked back at Enda.

“Yeah, since like... right now.”

Sighing, Enda sat on his chair across the table, he lost the battle. “I’m just going to ask you for a favor...” He managed to say after a few seconds in silence.

“Hey, you have to make the negotiation with her new manager.” Cillian raised his hand as if he was in a classroom.

“I have two more plays on hold in which I want you to participate.” Enda mumbled.

Cillian pointed his pen at him. “Give her the leading role and I will put it in her contract.”

After a nod, Enda extended his hand to Cillian, who shook it eagerly, he had an idea of what plays he was talking about and he already knew they would be a smashing hit.

“Let’s do this!” Cillian offered Marianne his hand and then pulled her for a hug.

“Thank you.” She then went to hug Enda as well, after drinking some water, he looked more relaxed now.

“Welcome dear, you’re going to love it.”

A big and inviting smile decorated her features, her eyes were sparkling as she looked between them.

Cillian asked her to find Heidi to get her measurements for the wardrobe as soon as possible. When she left the room, his eyes stayed on the door.

Enda stared at him. “It’s so good to have you back, I fucking missed you.”

Cillian nodded, suddenly the emotions were a mess inside his chest. Finally feeling some kind of relief.

Truth is, he had missed himself as well.

“Oh! By the way… are you going to cover her extra salary?”

Crossing his arms in front of him, Cillian looked at his friend with a cocky expression. “I’m going to ask her to work for me in my production company.”

Second of all, Prince [the lady] was one of the most important characters in my old story. I used to have the old notes about the entire thing that had some personality descriptions on my old laptop, but I don't have the files anymore. I do have my old notebook where I drew some of them, but all I have on Prince, and most characters aside from my own memory is this page

And also, most of these characters were girls since I am trans, so Prince was unique by being a boy, so i genderswapped him into a her to keep that uniqueness. The entire page is transcribed with some extra info in the alt description

Kagerou Daze story used to go by copyverse and I only realized when i searched through this book for information for the ask. A few things is that Jessica and Latte?? Holy shit I didn't know her name was latte I've been searching for that name for forever, latte has been referred to as Flora for all of my posts, but they were apart of this multiverse thing mostly as a cameo, like when a Mario trophy shows up in solid snake or whatever - if you wanna know about any of these other fuckers listed I have at least a few paragraphs of information on all of them but anyway Prince

I don't know where the idea came from, but creating a royal au isn't exactly anything super creative. I think Prince had a sister so ig it would be a brother now, and the royal families hair is bleached blonde to make them appear more regal. She was supposed to be a bit stuck up and with way too big of an ego, but a good heart and was one of the main good guys when the climax of the story went down. She ruled over a seaside town, with the castle resting on a cliff that overlooked the ports of the town on the beach. I also think horseback riding was one of her hobbies, but I can't remember tooooo much else?? She had an extreme distaste for most of the characters and only really got along with Ori, the resident of Pastverse and Kit-Kat, and despite being on neutral terms with Red decided to side against them due to the way he treated those under him.

Prince is also one of the few people who actually had parents, and said parents show up frequently. Uh, in hindsight with me having extreme familial issues uh. It lines up that most of these universes have dead parents and highschoolers [originally middle schoolers since I was in 8th grade] living on their own. I think the last two universes on the list in the picture has parents, and Kit-Kat was heavily based off of the animated version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch so her parents were alive, she just never saw them like at all also I decided to put on that show cause i finally remembered what the name of it was and it is actually still entertaining to watch

The Ultimate Guide to Starting A Podcast [Checklist]

The eleventh article Sydney gave me is an actionable list. The writer- Lestraundra Alfred- said she started a podcast in ten days by following it.

Determine your niche.

I know. Some of you who have been reading all the posts in this series are probably groaning right now at the repetition. I admit, as I was reading through them I was starting to almost be able to say the words in my head before I read them, like how I can quote movies I've seen a bunch of times.

But this is important- I mentioned before that it's better to be in the top ten of a smaller niche than top twenty of a broader one. But it's more than that- sites like spotify and apple podcasts use the niches you provide to categorize your show, and that categorization brings your podcast to those who are actually looking for similar things.

The article lists popular categories- comedy, news, TV shows and movies, and sports among them- so you can find inspiration in them and narrow your focus.

2. Identify your ideal listener

The article talks about going super specific with your listener avatar- age, job, education, income, other interests, hobbies, and where they live. This will let you think about what your perfect listener will think about your ideas and help you refine them.

3. Name your podcast and make a launch date

For the name, make sure you look it up a few times with variations so you don't accidentally use the same name as some other brand.

For the launch date, make sure to give yourself some time to do your preparations and recording, but not too much time that it's just procrastinating.

4. Format and schedule

There's a variety of formats, each with their own pros and cons. Interviews, co-hosts, and solo shows are just three.

The most common frequencies of publishing according to this article are weekly, bi-weekly (which I assume in this case means once every two weeks, not twice a week), and monthly. But the article also says consistency is key- don't do weekly for three weeks, and then not upload for two months.

5. Podcast host

Again, this is necessary because of internet jargon. An RSS feed is needed to upload to the actual directories where people can listen. The article lists a few via links which- as you all can probably guess by now- I won't add because I want to preserve their commissions. Plus, you'll probably want to read the article in its entirety to get all the details because I'm glossing over them to keep the big picture in sight.

6. Artwork

This article is linked, and it has a more in-depth guide on how to make artwork with examples. But this article recommends just browsing through your podcast listening site of choice and just looking at artwork, thinking about how yours will fit in.

7. Equipment

This article goes into the topic more in-depth, with specifics about what they personally recommend, but really a microphone, a computer, headphones, and recording and editing software are all you really need.

8. Create a trailer

Ah, finally, I can hear some of you think. A new step.

A trailer gives a new listener a chance to find out what your podcast is all about. So be sure to make it engaging and interesting.

9. Submit to directories

You'll be able to do this through your hosting site.

10. Start with three episodes

Another new step, yay! Not only does this give more content for listeners to really see if your podcast is a good fit for them, but it'll let your podcast get listens and other statistics more quickly. That means that the directory will read that and go 'oh! People really like this show. Let me move it to the front so more people can like it.' Your trailer shouldn't count in those three episodes.

11. Show notes

Yet another new step! Hooray! Show notes are basically really short blog posts that are under each episode and tailored to that specific episode. They're a good place for SEO (search engine optimization), and a way for avid listeners to follow the podcast on different sites, like your social media.

12. Get social media handles

Speaking of social media, you'll want these before you launch. This way you have them and can actually use them to promote yourself and the podcast. Domain names are included in this step.

13. Upload and schedule your three episodes

Once everything is edited and done, it's time to stick to your launch date you chose in step three and schedule through your hosting site to launch.

14. Market and celebrate

Now it's time to get the word out. You've worked so hard on this project, congratulations! An aside from me is to actually take time to celebrate. Don't rush right into more work, take the time to soak in your accomplishment, because it is an accomplishment.

Boringly cis, here… Not very girly or gender euphoric, but. Dressing up and putting up a good outfit, colours matching. SWIRLY SKIRTS, particularly if they have pockets. (I own one skirt I LOVE, it's big and swirly and it has pockets, I'm considering a petticoat to make it poofy and going full '50s new look style. It gives me lots of casual Cinderella vibes and oh man. IT HAS POCKETS. BIG ONES THAT FIT A CELLPHONE.)

QUEEN. I have one Freddie Mercury in every space I inhabit. I have two in my bedroom, one is hanging in my studio right in front of my desk. Queen had been a big and important part of my teen years. I am not a person who cries at movies/music, but put on The Show Must Go On or press play on Bohemian Rhapsody (the movie; i know it has flaws and it's dramatised but still) and watch me crumble. My favourite song of them tho… I can't choose one. Fat Bottomed Girl? But shit, Innuendo is just… A mindblown. I always clean my house with I Want to Break Free blasting on because I'm a basic bitch and that's mandatory.

David Bowie came into my life later but in stride, he's equally important, he's been the one celebrity death I felt like a blow (still can't listen to his last album without crying). Rebel Rebel is a favourite of mine but out of personal affection, the soundtrack of Labyrinth is the closest to my heart (that whole movie).

Janis Joplin. And with her my big favourite is Me and Bobby McGee (Freedom is just another word for nothin' left to lose 🎶*sings*)

I just discovered that Florence Welch is apparently bi too, so FLORENCE + THE MACHINE. The list of favourites is long but… Which Witch? Queen of Peace? Free? Morning Elvis? Can't choose, ARGH.

… I have the music taste of an old man, yes. Also I have the bad tendency in not getting much informations over artists if I'm not EXTREMELY hyperfixated, and it's a little since the last time I was hyperfixated with a band. It may be that other artists I regularly listen to are queer but I don't know. Again, I discovered Florence is queer writing this answer, oops.

15. How has your identity changed over time?

I had not many close contacts with the community until university, so I just assumed I was straight and never really thought about it much. Being demi ultimately didn't help me put two and two together any sooner, and without the proper terms and words… It was all very misty. So:

Straight > … People shipping me with a friend who is a girl don't bother me. Maybe… > No no, straight. Uh-uh. Just an ally. > Maybe bi-romantic, yeah, that maybe fits if I'm not having impostor syndrome, I won't tell anyone tho, I'm not sure. > "Hi friend of a friend who's very evidently flirting with me, WHY. 33. What about your LGBT identity do you feel proud of/ want to recognize/celebrate?

For my mental health, but also for the one of many other people: Being a valid queer person even if unable to go to Pride (they're a huge trigger for me, I'll start panicking before walking), or out with everyone or with relationship to prove it.

And the bisexual inability to sit down straight and composed without our joints falling off. That's a superpower we should be proud of. u_u

Jokes aside, I think there's some poetry in saying "I like people for being people, gender is secondary", and as much biphobia there is around… It's a good message to give.

multi-chara post: take a prompt and think of it in different locations! he gives you his jacket? why? because you're outside and it's cold, because you're at his game/set/etc. and he thinks it'd be cute that everyone knows you're dating, because you want to sleep and you can use it as a blanket, etc etc.

^ just start naming random places in ur head and see if anything happens—get more specific as u go! house. kitchen. the walk-in pantry. boom: big party scene and person a walks into the pantry at the sight of their favourite snack, caught by person b who's the host. oh that's a good one actually. woah. LOL

and like,, it's so so cool to just.. do an idea that's been done before. remember that if u as a reader will eat up the same prompt/trope over and over again, that u as a writer can feel happy to write it too!! So Many of my own posts have been done before but i think they're still good in their own way 🤷🏻‍♀️ U writing it rather than someone else means that it'll automatically be special to U.

Day 6

!!! wwwwwwwwwwooowwwwwwwww !!! How curated are these days? Because looking at photos of the effects of agent orange all morning and then seeing an abortion horror movie at night really offered some insight to the culture here. Honestly the movie was a bit triggering, like a heads up that the first scene is someone having an abortion at four months without anesthesia would have been cool, but it's fine. Like the fact that they're able to make a movie about abortion where your abortions haunt you till you die and then you meet your abortions in the after life really shows that abortion isn't as taboo here as at home-- and I guess thats what you get when you have a country so heavily impacted by chemical warfare. The movie implied Vietnam has a much high abortion rate than other places, and that 80% of abortions take place after the first trimester. At the end of the movie the main character died and she met her gang bang abortion, it asked for a name (!), and said she didn't resent her. While I think the movie was ultimately pro choice....it just left me feeling really weird. The War Remnants Museum, formerly the Exhibition House for the United States and Puppet Crimes was a lot too. I teared up a couple times. I don't like seeing the tanks, and planes, and bombs, or pics of dismembered bodies...Over hearing boomer American men talking about their time in the war, reading the list of torture methods America implored...it's wild. Also the way we ravaged the natural environment was hard to see. Killing people and poising their water and destroying their surrounding ecologies is really some heartless shit. It's hard for me to believe America is still allowed to have an army-- feel like we should be on our German shit where we are not allowed to do war in a big way any more, but I guess thats hard when you're the ones building the planes and shit. It was an interesting contrast to the exhibition at the Palace, which really favored Americas democratic influence, but I still feel like I don't have a grasp on the whole story.

But anyway, back to the movie-- I don't really go see movies at home, but I think when I travel now I will. I feel like I learned so much about the culture here through both the experience at the theater, and the content of the movie. It cleared up some questions I had about religion and worship here, and movie theater culture seems different here-- everyone was talking, and on their phone. The person next to me even took a phone call during the movie! and all these couples were making out during the abortion horror movie. I was shocked tbh.

Today I also experienced the river roads! I got stuck in a downpour while I was on a motorbike, so the driver lifted up his rain poncho for me to get under. I couldn't see anything around me, all I could do was look down, where at some points, it seemed like we were driving through 5 inches of water. The person at the desk of the motorbike lesson place, where I had been traveling too, said all the run off goes into the rivers and canals, so when it rains during high tide, there is just no place for the water to go. Flooding always feels like home.

Though today was more or less a bummer, it might have been my fav day here so far, but maybe I'm just finally settled in.
